First, all four liberated regions voted to join Russia.
- Donetsk: 99%
- Lugansk: 98%
- Zaporozhie: 93%
- Kherson: 87%
This is a huge victory for Russia and a massive slap in the face of the collective West.
By Friday I expect Putin to announce that these four regions will become part of Russia. Then, early next week the Duma and the Federation Council will deal with this, then it will go back to Putin for a final signature.
In the meantime, it looks like the US Americans are fleeing from Russia “immediately”. And Blinken continues to spew his grandstanding bellicose bullshit:
The EU and the US have already called the referendums a “sham.” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CBS on Sunday that the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions “will never be recognized” as part of the Russian Federation. He added that Kiev had “every right” to take them back.
The terrorist attack on NS1 and NS2, combined with all the threats and hysterics prove that the entire leadership of the West is both suffering from major butthurt AND in a full panic mode. The blowback from all this crass stupidity will be nothing short of absolutely huge.
And if the AngloZionists are dumb enough to want a shooting war, Russia will oblige, I have absolutely NO doubts about this whatsoever.
Next, it is now obvious that the Anglos have decided to destroy Europe. Europe blames Russia in spite of Brandon’s threats and the Polish collective orgasm and “thank you USA!” which the Russians have characterized as “borderline insane hysterical-euphoric reaction“.
Frankly? I think that both Germany and the rump Banderastan fully and richly deserve such a neighbor. Bien du plaisir!
This European inability to even mention who the obvious culprit is means that the pain dial on the EU will have to be turned way higher before these delusional and spineless lemmings come back even a basic grasp of reality. Instead of the Ukraine becoming Europe, Europe has become the Ukraine.
God’s wrath? Karma? Blowback? Whatever you chose to call it, it is already happening.
In the meantime, this made me really happy: “Russian team quits iconic rally after refusing to ‘denounce’ homeland“. As I have already mentioned many times, I think that Russia ought to withdraw from any and all organizations and events controlled by the AngloZionists. I hope that more Russian athletes, artists and personalities follow this example.

On a personal note, it looks like Ian will move over our house tomorrow, so we will lose power, possibly for a few days. I have to articles scheduled to be posted tonight at 2100 (NY time) and that will happen independently of whether I still have power or not. After that I make no promises, it all depends how we will look by Friday morning.
Our servers *should* be fine, but I might not be able to access them for a few days.
Wind-wise East-Central coastal Florida should be okay, but we are at severe risk of flooding as we had a very wet summer.
If we get flooded I won’t have any time to try to post something. However, God willing, we will survive this one too (we have already survived 6 hurricanes, including one eyewall (Charley) over our house).
So please say a prayer for us all, or wish us luck :-)
I will try to keep you informed as conditions permit.
Kind regards
Andrei
Prayers, God Speed; you’re my extended family. You and your family will stay safe, with God as your guide.
I don’t think the EU will ever turn against the US waiting for that is a complete waste of time.
The US is carrot and a stick diplomacy. The USA sells access to US markets as the carrot. As the Brandon administration continues its attack on the US economy, the middle class which is the provider of the carrot will collapse.
When the US loses the carrot, it is just a guy with a stick. Most would instantly recognize that as a bully.
While the battlefield may be Ukraine, the war zone is worldwide in scope. Outside the “Western World” zone of influence, the USA is being exposed not as a partner but as a predator. Amazingly, near daily I hear “facts” about the Ukraine war that never happened or are misinterpreted.
For those questioning who uses nukes first, It was Brandon who said you need nukes and F-15’s to take on the United States. You may not want to think about it but it was also Brandon who said they would take care of Nordstream.
The EU, which so eloquently destroyed themselves during covid is set to outperform handily in round two, featuring cold showers for Putin.
Access to the US market on terms set by the US. That’s not a carrot, it’s just a different stick.
How exactly will normal Europeans heat their residences this winter? Politicians and their elite handlers can only ignore the people they govern for so long.
Thanks for that update, and stay safe out there.
Andrei,
I wish you safety from the storm approaching Florida.
Brandon is incredibly efficient at being busy when something stands in the way.
I’ll survive without your posts. It would be better with them cause the situation is bad and I do hate nuclear war. I hope we’ll dodge this one.
For the while, take cover! Take care of your beloved. The world may be over tomorrow. I’m not in your care. Your folks are.
I repeat : Take cover, lay down. Wait that Ian leaves your region! Then come back in one piece if you can. If you have things to put together : Your folks have priority.
I can wait. Good luck! And oh Lord, keep me this one and his family in good shape! He helps me. In the end, Oh Lord, You decide. I wish he may stay with us and in good shape a little while. He brings some reason in the insane world we are in.
Good luck Andrei!
Stay safe!
In many sports, Russians and Belarussians are already not allowed to compete. This is tough for athletes
who have a very small window for peak performance. First a couple of years lost to covid and now this.
And many Russians were not allowed to compete in the Olympics.
What should Russian response be regarding NS1/NS2? Two weeks ago Putin was still offering (was it genuine? or he knew it would be rejected) to pipe gas through NS2. But if Russians are really done with
the west, perhaps inability to get Russian gas is enough (albeit at a very steep price of the loss of the pipelines).
When Kosovo declared it’s independence, there was no referendum. Yet the West had no problem recognizing it.
Elections are rigged in Europe just like they are in USA therefore you can’t blame the European public entirely.
My thoughts exactly. I honestly hoped that the rigging of elections would be enough to put down the idea that the average citizen – you and me included – is responsible for these clowns. Someone here or elsewhere said that if voting changed a thing they’d make it illegal.
“If voting changed anything, they’d make it illegal.” – Emma Goldman
Emma was a smart woman, check her out…
EU is so far gone, they rather be kicked killed off by the US than stand up to them for something the US obviously did to harm it. EU is ran by hopeless cowards and losers, and they will all watch their economies and societies become closer to the 3rd world.
EU got no choice, it’s under US choke-hold for decades. The pain is massive on all 3 sides.
US will do anything to receives the least. Once the spineless are on their knees, guess who’s coming to the rescue. EU is the least of the problems, a mere collateral damage.
The other 2 must be kept apart, otherwise, good night, for good.
Now you understand why the Deep State bureaucrats impeached President Trump twice. Trump had his faults and disapproved of Nordstrom 2, but he would not have committed an act of war by destroying the pipelines. I expect that Putin will retaliate but destroying the Schwett refinery
I do believe that Trump would have been able to order such an act of war. Remember, he was the one who personally ordered the murder of Soleimani and the group who accompanied him. He was also the one who denounced the INF Treaty.
I still don’t get the love people have for Trump. Sure he is no Killary or a Kenyan Obomber, but he’s also not a saint.
Yes, exactly. Hillary is worse, but he is no saint, and he’s more words than action, mostly. He must have charisma, when you meet him personally, and maybe some sincerity in spite of everything. Last one I saw expressing his respect for him was Dr. Paul Alexander, who’s no fool. Maybe one explanation is that he said things that people had been thinking for so long, and people were sick and tired of being insulted for their beliefs and for being “regular Americans”, and tired of political correctness.
Lord’s mercy with you.
Things are getting very bad in Europe.
First, since I am italian, I would say please stop thinking the new premier will change our awfully belligerant position on war.
That’s just another effect of the alliance between Nato and fascists, same as Ukraine, Poland, Uk etc. Europe is on the way to be polandized, (I prefer this to Ukrainized, cause Ukraine is just a black hole now).
Which is another sign of things getting worst and worst.
Referendum and annexation is another point of no return, as the response by Usa of blowing up any chance to go back to North stream alliance Germany-Russia.
Germany has been wiped out, and we moved from a German focused Europe (with its idea of indipendence from Usa) to a Polandized Europe (fascist at its core, servant of Usa/UK).
So I don’t see any way to avoid the fall of EU, we crossed the line.
My only concern is: will China recognize referendums and annexation? Is really China totally allied to Russia? I have strange feelings about that, I hope I am wrong, I see China ambiguous at the moment.
What PTB fears is Germans and Russians working together.
I proposed free gas from Russia to German consumers.
Just like Syrian oil is transported by trailers, I guess gas can be transported by trailers / railways. Gas is sold in containers on gasoline stations.
The war is about Germany.
Look what the EU did to transport through Kaliningrad. Trucks have no chance.
Pipes are easy to build – been there, done that.
Just to be clear, the US is STEALING Syrian oil by truck.
I noticed Russia is offering Africa free fertilizer.
The only thing Russia should offer to EU is a middle finger.
Remember back when Russia was throwing spanners into U.S attempts to overturn Syria by proxy rebel forces ?
How Russia by military jets attacked oil tankers leaving Syria,
filmed and published the attacks. Such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6oHbrF8ADs
Yep. The war is against the idea that Germany had about Europe, an independent power connected with Russia and China. That’s clear enough.
But meanwhile the war is also an attempt to crush any resistance against globalism, which is actually Usa conquering the world through finance.
So it’s against Germany, Russia, China and satellites.
Germany is gone. Russia is resisting at a huge cost. China is observing.
So I still say that China is the real pivot of all the situation. And actually its strategy is not clear at all. Will it cut all ties with Usa, given that both economies are deeply interlaced? In case of a real direct confrontation between Usa and Russia, will it support Russia completely?
In my opinion, that’s the real main question to understand.
I agree very much about how critically important is China’s position. In truth though, I have few doubts it will have no choice but to align further with Russia because otherwise it’s destiny is pretty clear to them now more than ever (Taiwan and more).
They are being very gradual, very cautious but at the end their choice is already made.
Our world is nuanced and hierarchical. Germany has multiple elites and its financial elites are happy to bribe its industrial elites. In the challenging stock market, Porsche is planning to go public at a valuation of around $70-75 billion. The financial elites stay on the top in the hierarchy and will sacrifice many to maintain their power. Germany’s conduct has been very disappointing.
The Private Financial Empire will do its level best to destroy any nation which doesn’t submit itself to the dollar hegemony. It is targeting Russia now and has declared a war on Russia, and yet we don’t see Russia stating this reality in its media. Russia and NATO are increasingly trading barbs and denouncing other’s actions. Russia continues its SMO, limited conflict, when in reality the war has widened. Why isn’t Russia acknowledging this reality? Let’s see who Russia holds responsible for NS1 & NS2, and will it hold them accountable, or follow the path of MH17.
China isn’t showing any leadership and seems to be scared of Empire’s threats and sanctions. The Empire is steadily isolating Russia even from its partners. Now Turkey is refusing to accept Mir cards. “The US Department of the Treasury said last week it was ready to dish out more sanctions for supporting Moscow’s attempts to expand the use of its Mir payment system outside the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, the National Payment Card System’s chief executive, Vladimir Komlev, has been put on a US blacklist.” Russia is being cornered. Can it out innovate the Empire? Please share Russia’s CREATIVE moves, not its narratives. Action speak louder than words.
The Chinese do seem to be vacillating. But they know they are next if Russia falls, they are enjoying Russian energy, they want the BRI, and they are militarizing big-time. Each country has it’s own Rubicon to take a hard stand in its own interests. You want to see real fence riders, look at Turkiye and India.
and how would you suggest a payment method and what currency is it going to be in?
I recall reading a military writer discussing calculations that military strategists use to assess how quickly units can adapt – in that case the formations used in musket warfare cam turn. For a small, mobile infantry unit, change can happen very quickly. For a battalion, it takes a lot longer to chance direction.
The same is true in government. People who expect miracles don’t realize how much it takes to turn the ship of state. If you have leadership that is worthy, make sure to pull with them, because some people get impatient and sulk when things don’t move fast enough for their tiny minds.
Stay safe, Andrei, and all the people you know there.
blinken’s grandfather was born in kiev, so he is obviously biased…and lying.
So, the usa is losing & outthought, so it decides to lash out in impotency by committing a stupid, tangental war act, harming its own allies in hato. What was that again about article 5? An attack on one – Germany – is an attack on all.
Good question – what does Article 5 say about NATO-on-NATO?
Probable a series of conferences, hearings, press releases, more expansion.
Or something like that.
Article 5 foresees “consultations”
besides, to fight a war you need functional armed forces
And they are depleted.
Article 5 is bullshit.
“The parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all, and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defense recognized by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the party or parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually, and in concert with the other parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.”
Each members will respond with “such action as it deems necessary”. There is no mandate to do anything.
I survived many hurricanes in Florida with varying results. A steel 30-foot tall streetlight missed the corner of my house by a foot once. Another time, while living on a barrier island, my washer and drier was sucked through the back wall, sailed 2 miles across the intra-coastal water way, landing in someone’s back yard on the other side. The best one took the entire ground floor of my house out which held my library, den and music studio. That’s when I gave up owning anything in Florida. I’ve seen the Tampa Bay sucked out before. During Andrew, I lived by the canal that bordered the Everglades. My place was fine but there was a 2×4 stuck through a palm tree high off the ground, like an arrow. I survived them. There were billions of dollars of damage all around me every time. Fingers crossed for you mate.
I wonder if in the GS Operational Plan there is a category or algorithm which relates to Western Stupidity.
You would think it is so profound and ubiquitous that it has to be a piece of the web of data and influences the Generals factor for in planning and adjusting tactics, if not strategy. – Larch445
No need to wonder how the cheap equipment from the US and NATO are working out for the Piano-Dick-Tater and his meaningless (to him and NATO and the rest of the west) minions. Do you guys know your taxes are paying the salaries of the Ukie military, alive and … dead? You can’t even scrape up 29 cents for some wine on the street corner in LA anymore, but the US military grift carries on just like in Cambodia and Vietnam with millions going out to nonexistent troops daily.

There is more to this story :

Zakharova :
Former Polish Foreign Minister, MEP Radoslaw Sikorski called his statement that the United States disabled Nord Stream a personal working hypothesis: “I am glad that Nord Stream, with which all Polish governments have been fighting for 20 years, is paralyzed by three quarters. This is good for Poland. Let the Danish investigation find the perpetrators. Naturally, I put forward working hypotheses about who had the motives and opportunities to do this, only on my own behalf. ”
Even better. It turns out that both the United States and Poland had motives and opportunities, since “all Polish governments have been fighting for 20 years” with the gas pipeline.
Write more, Radoslav. Maybe you’ve heard something about Britain’s “motives and opportunities”, highly-liked?

Blinken did blink as if he had not sanctioned the act. Looks like the Commonwealth of Europe, BoJo’s gambit, is in play. Now who would the head of state be, I wonder? Why none other than King Charles III.
King Charles III is indeed Head-of-State and more importantly is the lawful Commander-in-Chief of all of the military and security services. But when it comes to the commission of crimes using the state apparatus it is the power of his wife that comes to the fore.
Under the British Constitution as interpreted The Queen can do things which a king cannot.
It’s a complete mess, which arose in the panic of 1848 and led to a ridiculous text with no sunset provisions.
It has become illegal to prevent The Queen from doing anything at all.
Royal Prerogative Powers cover the 56 state Commonwealth, and must cover the planned Commonwealth of Europe (Germany, France,Italy not included) :

This was leaked before Draghi’s ouster and Meloni’s election. This is going to be very interesting!
The disgusting hag adulteress is a Queen Consort, not a queen.
The difference being the queen consort is not a ruler in her own right, unlike the Queen, and her monarchical title only comes from her husband.
Once Charlie is no longer king, Queen Consort Camilla will no longer hold that title.
Yes, that is the talking point, and it is yet more misdirection.
The law says nothing about what type of queen can invoke the Treason Felony Act. It is just “our Most Gracious Lady the Queen”, and who would deny that Camilla P-B fits that description?
“She is harmless!” they will scream, “Leave her alone!”
The British are nothing if not devious.
May you have a protective bubble over your house, family, and friends.
When I lived in Sanford the storms seemed to go around us all the time. Maybe we had a bubble over the town. ???
My brother in Cape Coral broke his silence to tell me he’s ok so far. Been on generator since 05:30.
I hope he and his wife make it ok, I’m running out of relatives.
I also hope this is a sign that he’s getting over me being in Russia.
Entire leadership of the West in full panic mode! Wait a minute. Blowing up NS1&2 cannot be done on a whim. It takes planning. Nothing that is unfolding either militarily, politically or economically is surprising. US intent on destroying Europe? (As stated by Michael Hudson months ago.) Surprise, surprise. It was either that or lose Europe to Russia/China. Butthurt? Indeed, still smarting from the schism of 1054 and the defeats of Sweden, Poland, France and Germany by Russia (the one against Nappy especially hurt!) the West is in a panic! Somehow I don’t think so. Frankly, I think things are unfolding pretty much as US planners imagined. Recommendation: quit fixating on the “leaders” who get time on camera. They are nobodies. I personally think that what US planners are doing is a catastrophe, but it is not without planning and logic and to believe that your enemy are a bunch of whimsical, incompetent, idiots driven by historical grievances is a mistake. What US planners are doing has a very definite logic and very rational objectives, which incidentally do not include defeating Russia militarily in Ukraine.
I understand what you mean, and I somehow agree about the fact that we are experiencing a planned catastrophe, which involves Europe as main actor and only incidentally Russia.
And yes, rulers are not the actors we see and hear on tv or smartphones.
But I keep saying that the central point of all is China. Does this plan involve China? Is China totally allied with Russia?
If China stops supporting Russia, or doesn’t accept referendum and annexation, things get more difficult for Russia.
@Fab
I tend to be a rather harsh critic of China’s weak leadership in the so called Eurasia bloc and lacklustre support of Russia in this Ukraine conflict . These are my personal opinions.
1. The catastrophe in Europe will be far worse than for Russia -that is, if Russia can avoid a nuclear exchange with US/NATO. Russia’s uphill task is not only winning militarily in Ukraine but avoiding a nuclear exchange with Washington/NATO in the process of doing so. Washington knows this is one of Russia’s weak point and it is punching Russia as Putin shows restrain in the SMO. The lunatics now in power in the collective West are not incapable of doing something rational people would deem suicidal and I think Putin knows this. I am not so sure if Xi and regular Chinese folks understand what kind of people China is dealing with now in complete control of the collective West.
2. China is not totally allied with Russia and will never be unless push turns to shove(eg Taiwan declares independence after being instigated by the collective West). Despite Wang Yi’s previous pre Ukraine conflict rhetoric(ie more of hot air bragging) that Sino-Russian relations are “better than an alliance”, he is pretty silent on this like a church mouse nowadays. The fact is China is less than an ally, just a pragmatic “partner” . China is always for China only . It will support Russian foreign policies which converge/overlap with China’s. One of that is resisting US/Western meddling into their internal politics/national sovereignty. However, the Ukraine conflict poses a difficulty , in fact an annoying inconvenience, for China .It is not in China’s interest to support Russia in the Ukraine conflict, not even ‘moral’ support…certainly China must not be seen(by other weak “non-alligned” countries) to support Russia in this military conflict . This has a lot to do with :-
a.) The Taiwan independence issue. To China , this is of utmost importance, certainly far more important than supporting Russia . Republics in Donbass declaring independence from Ukraine and then joining Russia sets a precedence for Taiwan declaring independence (from “China”) and joining the Western alliance. China’s rhetoric on Taiwan is that Taiwan is an integral part of China. Any foreign powers (ie US and allies) instigating Taiwanese independence violates the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Chinese nation. Ukraine’s narrative in the international arena is of that of a Russian invasion of its territory and annexing chunks of its territory. It doesn’t matter how well Russia justifies its moves, superficially for the average Joe(and the average person is usually superficial and has no time nor patience nor gumption to go into the minutiae, history etc etc) the Ukraine narrative fits the optics. And for China(like the West), image and rhetoric in the international arena is very important. Hence, China cannot show any support for Russia in the Ukraine conflict . Pelosi and other Western lawmakers visit to Taiwan is to remind Beijing to have as minimal support for Russia in the Ukraine conflict – or else… And it worked.
b.) China ‘s cultivation of the image of a benign , peace loving, anti war, respecting of other countries’ national sovereignty , “win-win’ and a superpower rival of the US ‘rising peacefully’ Vs an ugly, conniving, warmongering, ‘racist’, invasive , zero-sum-game US empire. China is trying to rally generally weaker global south countries to its leadership versus a “rapacious “West. Again, as per point 2 (a), the Ukraine conflict poses a challenge should Russia recognize the results of the referenda in Ukraine. Bad optics for China to be party to a “bullying” Russia. Sad to say, the average Joe and educated elites in the global south who even show some interests in geopolitics believe in the narrative that Russia is the bad ugly bully of Ukraine(most average Joes in the global south actually don’t know where Ukraine is nor do they even care about the conflict). Western MSM are seen as reliable, prestigious and respected as ‘truth’ /the standard among global south educated -most of them hold Western academia and Western MSM in high esteem(they consider their own governments as inferior to Western ones, corrupted, and whatever Western MSM say about their leaders must be true). I am from Malaysia(a ‘global south’ country) and our media just report , even copy verbatim whatever Western MSM reports on Ukraine. Our opposition media(supported by the West through NED), whose readership are mostly the well educated, is totally pro Ukraine and anti Russia. So to the average educated Malaysian , Ukraine is a faraway conflict and Russia is a bad imperial power , Ukraine is being bullied and good olde US and EU are helping poor victimized Ukraine. Of course there are those who have contrarian views(like yours truly) but I think we are a minority in the global south .
China will bend with whatever narrative that will cultivate her image as a benign superpower, and that means agreement with Western narrative on Ukraine because that’s the narrative believed by the majority of the average educated person worldwide.
If you watch CGTN Europe(which I do), the tone is mostly anti Russian and pro Ukraine. I think their reporters are mostly from the UK(based on their accent). Sorry to say but that’s the reality. Russia lost in this propaganda war.
3. China will never recognize the referenda and annexation as per my point #2. However , China will also not sanction or reduce economic partnership with Russia. China does not like taking risks and so will remain ambiguous and “neutral”. It will likely say the same thing as it is saying now – “peaceful diplomatic resolution “, “both Russia and Ukraine have their points and issues “, “US and the West should stop instigating the conflict in Ukraine”…that China is the benign, peace loving superpower image. People like Wang Yi will shake hands with Ukrainian officials whilst Xi and Putin will have occasional public meetings.
4. China will not allow Russia to be defeated by the “collective West” though. So, Russia is unlikely to be sanctioned by China, despite Western pressures. That’s why Putin has to thread very carefully with Ukraine to ensure Western pressure on China is not too intense to cause the latter to cave in to Western demands, however unlikely it may be. Beijing knows if Russia falls, China is next and will have no one to back her up. So, Beijing will not cease economic ties with Russia. That’s all Russia can count China on.
China makes a poor leader for the global south and Eurasia because Beijing wants to have the cake and eat it too. It is not willing to take risks and sacrifices sorely needed at this juncture in this fight against US Imperium.
I hope I am wrong and waiting for criticisms from pro China folks on why China is so passive in its support for supposedly ‘better than an ally’ Russia.
Yeah, great response and very clear.
I also agree completely that China will never accept those referendums because otherwise Taiwan will immediately jump on that and ask for a referendum and, according to some Chinese friends I have, indipendentists would win by a landslide.
But at the same time, as.you said, it cannot let Russia lose this conflict because next one to be attacked would be an isolated China.
So we could also say that the strategy of Usa is a clever one, China is somehow on a slippery situation. And I would also add that Chinese economy is deeply interlaced with the west, and I am not sure China would be able to recover if it cuts ties completely with the west, and that could be something that sooner or later Usa will want to force on them: stay with us or stay with russia, you cannot be on both sides anymore (given that EU became a zero power in 6 months already).
At the beginning of the SMO, I was quite surprised that China and India gave support (if not military, economic and financial) to Russia and that made me think Russian strategy was spot on. I don’t think that anymore. It is like something has changed meanwhile. India is unpredictable more or less in the same way of Turkey, and in my opinion it will never really cut ties with Usa/Uk, they are too deeply inside her economy since decades. And Modi, by the way, it’s on charge now but who knows later, India democracy is volatile and unstable.
I have the feeling that things are becoming slippery day by day for Russia, and this referendum and annexations are a way to force the situation, an escalation to a de-escalation, or at least an attempt to it. But dangerous and unpredictable.
Annexations always have big side effects, a big change in geopolitical balance, and you really cannot calculate all that will happen after.
So the point is that nobody- nor Russia nor Usa/Uk/Nato nor China- know exactly what will be next and that’s quite scary in my opinion. The scientific military operation is over, we enter an unknown field, all is really possible.
It’s possible that Russia gets isolated and that, after she completely lost propaganda war, would put her on a very dangerous situation.
It’s also possible that Russia at the opposite gets supported by China, for China understands that the west is a lost game and will never be able to go back to its past power and hegemony.
In my opinion, China knows there are two possibilities but it’s not sure about what’s next in Ukraine conflict, no clear ideas, nothing sure, because China idea of a diplomatic solution is getting less possible day by day.
That’s the point. The chances of a diplomatic solution, after annexations, are almost dead.
And that’s not something China is happy about.
Rodrigo, I think your comments prior to your last sentence are very astute. In your last sentence, you say “What the US planners are doing has a very definite logic and very rational objectives”. I don’t understand what is rational about their objectives. Surely, seeking world hegemony is not rational.

The west is lost. R.I.P.
The only possible reason for believing that the US did not blow up the pipe line is that they succeeded! But, then again, destroying civilian infrastructure is a US speciality.
For those countering the idea that Russia blew the pielines up:
As Gonzola said, ‘lefty loosey; righty tighty’. If Russia wanted to shut off gas supply all they need do is turn the valve, while destroying a pipe cuts off the option of turning it back on — and reduces their strategic or operational options and space, which would be far more idiotic than Russian leaders (or someone with an IQ above room temperature) are. My first thought as to ‘who benefits’ was a big energy company who wants to sell LNG, or perhaps some other competitor, or potential competor — maybe Israel, who is crazy enough, has technical resources, and may want support for its gas development or confiscation ambitions. Or it could be just a way to bring Europe to it’s industrial production knees, extending US dominance. We’ll have to wait for technical investigations and data to go beyond mere speculations, however, unless some solid human intelligence emerges. But it’s hard to nail down which factions of the empire are the most insane and moronic these days
this is a Mossad job, no doubt about it… they’re settling scores with Russia for closing the jewish office and Syria

I live in Rijeka, Croatia. We have an LNG terminal 15 km form the city, on the nearby island of Krk. Now, that the war has come to the stage when strategic gas infrastructure is a legitimate target, I’m a little bit worried…
Aha, another T to look at every day, thank you. Biden’s been implanted by the vax of self destruction – even, or especially, the planet’s turning on the Empire. Please stay safe
I listened to the Military Summary video today. Something bothered me about it but I couldn’t figure out what it was. Then I read the following by Andrei M.: You can not spin this {the 4 regions becoming part of Russia} with clogging the media with useless and meaningless tactical minutiae of VSU “capturing” some village or town without any prospect for holding it for long. This is exactly what Military Summary is doing!
Prayers and best luck. Stay safe and dry.
I’m curious Andrei have you heard of another floridian Martin Armstrong of Armstrong Ecconomics blog ? if not you really should check him out once you hear his story of being the target of the empires wrath over his refusal to hand over his code to a AI early prototype with the worlds financial history roughly 6000 yrs threw coins {the earliest newspapers} and has a proven track record of forcasting cycles in an simple and endearing way he communicates his huge knowledge of world events.
Martin Armstrong is a liar & a con man — he is just full of $hit ! Google it & you’ll find a whole website listing his lies & deception
I’m sure you could do the same for anyone who publicly disagrees with the establishment
Martin Armstrong was intrumental about warning Japanese and Russians about currency market manipulations, causing Wall Street to lose x billions. He was never forgiven and defined as an Enemy of Humanity … or something like that.
Europe folded passively to America without one bullet being fired, much like when Crimea returned to Russia’s bosom.
The CIA-Mossad-MI6, the 3 Stooges, carried out this heinous terrorist act on Europe and I’ll offer odds of 5/1 that all 3 or menagerie of the 3, usual suspects, had the main operating contract, like on 9/11.
The Mossad are particularly incensed regarding Russia-Iran relations as it curtails any leverage that they had over Americano-EU JCPOA monologues, now redundant, with Iran’s entry into the Allied Fold/Organisations/Markets.
They’ll be a great deal of face-palming, err saving, among the US Oligarchs & their Euro-piss-on counterparts.
Currently reading up on Roman atrocities before the SHTF. I won’t spoil the fun, but expect further acts of piracy, blood and sacrifice before the masonic tectonic shift.
Saker,
Hope you and your family stay safe from Ian.
Regarding this BS show from the West, let us pray it is over soon.
HC
May all be well when the storm has passed. We need you, and we need the state of Florida, to strive for some type of normalcy in this crazy insane out of control world.
Putin’s goal os regime change in Ukraine
Biden’s goal is regime change in Russia.
Once Putin fully digests this, he should enlarge the battlefield accordingly.
I think the central objectives of the two super powers involved in the Ukrainian conflict advanced their positions this week.
For Russia that objective was to reincorporate what used to be Novorossiya back into the Russian Federation. With the completion of the recent referenda, four of the six oblasts will now become part of Russia. Mykolaiv and Odessa still to come, (and maybe Kharkiv?).
For the U.S. that objective was the deindustrialisation of Europe (Germany in particular), and the removal of the Euro as a competitive currency. Previous sanctions and now the destruction of the two Nord Stream pipelines advances that agenda.
Will China go along with the enlarged Russia. I think they will, but perhaps without publicly endorsing the new development. They had diplomatic relations with both Russia and Ukraine. They still do.
RAND Report hinted windfall profits for US at level $9000 billion when Germany crashes.
The same people hinted Iraq war could be completely financed by war spoils. But it never happened. Instead the funding of Iraq reconstruction became a black hole in US budget, making Haliburton fat.
Is Biden running his own version af MAGA? No. US is heading for internal war. People are buying weapons and dry food.
“…removal of the Euro as a competitive currency.”
Just crazy idea occurred to me:
what if ultimate US goal is to destroy Euro (by destroying economy) and impose US$ as new currency in Europe.
Imagine a whole new market for US currency.
Perfect way to “save” EU, by injecting toilet paper on a colossal scale. Absolute bondage, to boot.
Other option is, the tribes go back to their caves and have a new start, from scratch.
Toilet paper that is harder to differentiate (especially if one can’t read that well but can otherwise differentiate colors just fine), I’ll add. And that’s just the banknotes – don’t get me started on the coins!

This is an urgent realization for Russia and Russians to make, the CSTO is a hollow entity, Russia has no friends there. They all take from Russia, then poke at Russia, parasites with no morals, e.g., Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, et al.
The call from Dmitry Steshin to deal with them pragmatically, Anglo-Saxon style, is a double edge sword. The ruling elites of these countries are deeply corrupt, have no morals, and no friendship to Russia. They play a double-face game, always ready to jump ship like rats, and sell themselves as whores when convenient.
Dmitry Steshin, Komsomolskaya Pravda, is also in Telegram, https://t.me/DmitriySteshin

https://rusvesna.su/news/1664255564
The referendum has already saved us from the main illusion: Russia has no allies in the CSTO
Russian journalist, military correspondent of Komsomolskaya Pravda Dmitry Steshin in his author’s Telegram channel highlighted an interesting aspect and the outcome of referendums on joining Russia.
“The referendum has already saved us from the main illusion. Not a single CSTO member state supported the choice of Donbass, Kherson, or Zaporizhia.
Russia has no friends, no matter what agreements it signs, no matter how much it feeds and cajoles respected partners along the common historical path.
We are alone on an ice floe, girded with a crowbar. The sooner we realize this, the better and easier it will be.
The transition to ultra-pragmatic politics in the post-Soviet space, in the Anglo-Saxon style, is ahead. There are no other options.
Most likely, they will start with guest workers. RV), which are sent to us for feeding. This is a political tool that can reformat any regime into something that fully respects the will of Moscow and the interests of Russia. Well, people don’t understand that good is not a sign of weakness. Their mentality is what they go through.”
Recall that this year, Armenia requested assistance from the CSTO after the situation on the border with Azerbaijan worsened, and in the past, within the framework of the CSTO, a limited Russian contingent was sent to Kazakhstan when the country was engulfed in unrest. After that, Tokayev called the DPR and LPR ” quasi-state entities.”

What you say is true. However Iran feels Russia’s pain, having been there and in possession of a moral code, and Iran has the sand and the will to stand by Russia. I think their loyalty goes beyond standing with Russia for their own survival which is the Chinese way. I think the propaganda war the west has the advantage in is preparing all of Europe, and the Baltics, to become Russian Cannon fodder in a conventional war attack. It has the mark of Zionism’s “way of deception” to have useful idiots fight their wars. Looks to me like the stupid of stupids, Poland, will kick off the big games to be played outside of Ukraine.
JJ posted a comment yesterday which may have deserved more attention than it actually got, thus: “Finally, we should pay attention to the June article in Sea Power, where the Americans brag about the underwater drone experiments they staged at the BALTOPS 22 exercise – just off Bronholm Island.”
Mike Adams references and quotes at length from this ‘Sea Power’ article on ‘Natural News’ today. Here’s the relevant, longish, extract from Adams’ article:
“As Sea Power Magazine reported on June 14th, of this year, the US Navy’s 6th Fleet Task Force 68 was running underwater explosives removal drills in the exact area where these sabotage explosions took place. The cover story was that the US Navy needed to conduct “mine hunting experiments” using unmanned underwater drones. From the article:
In support of BALTOPS, U.S. Navy 6th Fleet partnered with U.S. Navy research and warfare centers to bring the latest advancements in unmanned underwater vehicle mine hunting technology to the Baltic Sea to demonstrate the vehicle’s effectiveness in operational scenarios.
Experimentation was conducted off the coast of Bornholm, Denmark, with participants from Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, and Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring all under the direction of U.S. 6th Fleet Task Force 68.
This year experimentation was focused on UUV navigation, teaming operations, and improvements in acoustic communications all while collecting critical environmental data sets to advance the automatic target recognition algorithms for mine detection.
[screenshot from the Sea Power article inserted here]
So the ruthless Biden regime publicly threatens to take down the Nord Stream pipelines by any means necessary, then a US Navy fleet task force shows up in the Bornholm area of the Baltic Sea with undersea demolitions experts, and then a couple of months later the Nord Stream pipeline gets blown to pieces, right in the Bornholm area of the Baltic Sea, putting European industry on course for collapse while shoring up western dominance of US industry and dollar currency.
Hmmm…”
This is as good as proof that the ‘evil gringos’ did it themselves. No need to subcontract the dirty job to crazy Poles or pliant Germans or Scandinavians.
Moon of Alabama published a map of the area, showing how the two pipelines go just by Bornholm Island, at: https://www.moonofalabama.org/2022/09/whodunnit-facts-related-to-the-sabotage-attack-on-the-nord-stream-pipelines.html#more
(this is the link to the Sea Power article : https://seapowermagazine.org/baltops-22-a-perfect-opportunity-for-research-and-resting-new-technology/)
Finally, note how, following the usual method, drills which purport to practise defending against a certain type of attack actually prepare the carrying out of that same sort of attack. So clever.
Your first link is chock full of facts that open new possibilities. Leading me to another idea: PL & the Empire…
If PL is dreaming of moving east or being overambitious, like stealing the alpha manufacturing EU role, they’d need lots of energy to do it. They’ve built an undersea pipeline with Denmark already, according to a clip from the first link. The Empire has already openly admitted to taking down N2 if they feel like it. A couple of comments in the article section suggest either one could be responsible.
PL has already “blamed” or thanked US outright, but allows them plausible deniability in place of PL’s overt charge to become the big ‘kingpin’ in EU energy network. US said they’d do it, but though having a ship in the area, maybe just ran interference for the real culprit. And can then say they “have ships everywhere” but weren’t really that close to the scene. Or “were doing maintenance” when it happened.
Both Empire and PL have lots to gain as a joint venture. PL does the deed, the Empire falls.
The whole affair reeks of instigation and retaliation with a hysterical exuberance.
Both have nothing left to lose.
I think the US Navy running an underwater exercise precisely in that area, a few months back, with UUV removing mines from the seaground, is the proof.
I hear you. To me, it seemed too obvious. Especially since Brandon had no choice after admitting ill intentions toward it. A very convenient ‘faux pas’ to provide cover for other clandestine activities, like for a silent partner. The “PL connection” seems to be heading up to the next level already, wasting no time to steam roll ahead and blaze inroads to hell or back.

Stay safe and stay well Andrei. My very best wishes to you, your family and neighbours.
We get regular storms and floods in my neck of the woods, twice a year to be exact and every time it happens I get a reminder of God’s power.
Hope to hear an “all’s well” from you very soon, God willing.
Stay safe, warm and dry. Best of luck to you and your family over these next days.
Might anybody here speculate why Russia did not extend its SMO into Odessa, to be included in the Referendum? Seemingly, the majority of people there are ethnic Russian.
Russia, presently, has no control over Odessa so it would not be possible to organize a referendum there.
When Odessa is cleared of nazis it too will hold referendum. Trinisteria (if I have that right), same. Mariopul and the entire Azov Black Sea coast will vote to rejoin Russia. What’s left will be a smoking hole of a rump state.
Care to speculate how and when Odessa may be cleared of Nazis?

Hello Saker (first time posting to you directly)
Just want to say, thank you for all the greatly informative updates – stumbling upon this site in February helped save me from becoming one of the ignorant American sheeple and has helped me get my husband on board with the truth of Russia/Ukraine/etc.!
I am in Central Florida (born and raised here), a bit North of the theme parks – just starting to feel the worst that hurricane Ian has for us here…
Praying your area will be spared excessive flooding, that your household will come thru the storm with minimal difficulty!
God Bless and keep you and your loved ones safe and well!!
Well from a country that calls the cause of genocide safe and effective, I suppose a sham means the people have spoken.
Hello Andrei,
Hope you and family are safe and well. I finished my article, “A Tale of Two Vows: Biden’s & Putin’s”. It will give you a good idea of the overall topic that I asked you to contemplate if you find time.
The “West” with its fine sportsmanship, has ruined every Olympic Games for Russia at least since 2008, with its accusations of cheating, lies, “rules” applying only to Russia etc; Summer or winter, Russia has been excluded. There is no decency in the decision-makers of the warped West.
I’m still surprised that Syria, with the support of Russia and other allies, haven’t cleared the yanks out of Syrian territory. They are illegal invaders and theives, after all.
Yes that a good place to hit them,a few Kalibr missiles would do the job,and i can’t understand why those gangsters are being allowed to steal oil in broad daylight with convoys of tankers.
Kim Jung-un would have brought peace to Syria before PTB had time to plan a counteroffensive / destroying electricy / bribing the Kurds: Now 8 years have passed and no solution in sight
About the Dakar Rally, here is some info for you (us) that have RT blocked:
MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS/. Russia’s Kamaz-Master Team refused to sign a document provided by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) required to participate in the 2023 Dakar Rally, the team’s press office said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The participation of Russian athletes at the Dakar rally is given under the condition that they sign the Driver Commitment of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), which condemns the Russian special operation in Ukraine,” according to a statement posted on the official website of Kamaz-Master Team.
“In our opinion, the content of this document is political and also violates the principles of equal rights for athletes,” the statement reads. “We consider it impossible to sign such documents and participate in competitions under such conditions.”
“Our choice is clear – we are always with our homeland, especially in difficult situations,” the statement continued.
(Since the late 1990s, the Kamaz-Master Team has dominated the truck category, winning a record 19 of the prestigious rally races.)

Best wishes for a safe ‘journey’ through the hurricane, Andrei.
The Saker, I wish you and your loved ones luck and welfare. Staying safe during this natural event.
Just seen a breaking news on RT that a refugee convoy near Khrkiv has been shelled with at least thirty dead,i really hope in the coming days and weeks Russia takes the gloves of,this sort of crime has gone on for far too long.
When things go bad and USA’s hand is clearly present, I write to our US President and each time get a letter back which evades the topic addressed. Current events (Ukraine and now NS1 and NS2) stress the point that US citizens with opposite views are totally ignored by the “powers” at work and buttressed by the mass media. Reading your editorials never fail to provide me with the certainty that not all is lost. I appreciate your prophetic work and all the people that collaborate with you.
Prayers on your behalf as Ian approaches.. In Christ.
Good morning, Ian’s eye is over Merritt Island. We are all doing fine. Hope you and yours are ok too
After the US bombing of Nordstream 1 & 2, instead of Ukraine joining the EU the EU has joined Ukraine (paraphrasing a perfect remark above).
Yeah, there is a real Financial Empire counteroffensive going on beside Ukie/Nato weak counteroffensive and it is much more dangerous then that.
Turkey is under menace for payments in other currencies, as you highlighted.
The issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The colour revolution of Iran.
And finally, something that nobody talked about, that India bought Usa weapons and put them on the border to China where there are some issues since decades.
China is clearly taking time and trying to understand the big prospects of the future changings going on.
Since february I said that Russia strategy would work ONLY if the big Russia/China/India block keeps compact and strong.
Now I fear that it is not the situation. India buyed these weapons from Usa and it is a partner of UK and Usa since long time. So it doesn’t look like it wants to cut ties with them.
China cannot accept the referendums, because otherwise Taiwan would want one and it looks like indipendentists would win by a landslide.
So the situation is gloomy and creepy.
That was West counteroffensive and it isolated Russia somehow, also cutting any possibility of North Stream.
The big big danger is that Usa pulls China and India by its side, and that would be the end of any russian chance to defeat the Financial Empire of Usa/Uk.
@Fab
India buying weapons from US and not truly committed to the Eurasia bloc is not new. The acrimony between China and India remains. I don’t think India will sanction Russia because I don’t think US will hand India with biting sanctions should the latter “fail” to cut ties with Russia. Us needs India to be a foil to China in Eurasia.
USA will not be able to pull China to its side. US is an existential threat to China over the long term. In fact, China is the real US target. If Russia falls, China is truly isolated and ripe for the picking . So, nope China understands this and will not go over to US “side”. As I wrote earlier, although China will not recognize the referenda and annexations, it will likely not condemn them as well. Economic relations and even joint military drills will continue. China pulling out on its relations with Russia would be suicidal.
https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202209/1276450.shtml
The above recent commentary in Global Times would perhaps give us a hint on Beijing’s view on this West Vs Russia conflict underneath their goody two shoes rhetoric. Despite China’s poor leadership in the Eurasian bloc, China’s ruling elites are quite clear who their true enemy is. So I doubt China will ditch Russia for US.
Chinamerica is far too complex for the US to perform a shock and awe economic operation on China like it did with Russia should China ‘fail to comply’ in siding US against Russia . US is gradually decoupling from China but cannot afford an abrupt one. There might be some sanctions on China(for continuing to trade with Russia) but not ones that will economically hurt the US, and such sanctions China can perhaps weather. Any shock and awe will hurt US badly just as much as China , and might actually strengthen China’s resolve to finally be all in with Russia.
My views.
Not a ‘Polish orgasm’ because since 1939 there has not been a Polish government. Until 1945 Poland was under German occupation. After 1945 until now Polish presidents and governments have been Polish speaking (polonophone) but not Polish.
I guess in about 2 weeks those four areas will be Russia proper. Since there are no ethnic Russians west of there, Russia probably will not bother to tiptoe through the tulips in those western areas that will now be attacking Russian territory. While tiptoeing losses were 10 to 1, with the gloves off it could be 30 to 1. Not too sure what Russia will do with Ukrainian allies that attack Russian territory but Putin did meet with his military contractors and tell them to step up production.
“The EU and the US have already called the referendums a “sham.” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CBS on Sunday that the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions “will never be recognized” as part of the Russian Federation. He added that Kiev had “every right” to take them back.”
Didn’t you get the memo Blinky? Russia doesn’t recognize your recognitions. Just shut up and do what you think you got to do and Russia will respond accordingly.

I am quite worried about this departure of Americans from Russia at the demand of the State Department and the similar departure of some other nationalities.
It makes me wonder whether the US is planning some kind of aggression against Russia.
Nah, it’s just theatre to ramp up the fear porn for he TV watchers.
Planning? Are you sleeping? It’s already on.
