Marine Le Pen’s split with her father is a bit of a mystery. I am not a resident, (only visitor) of France. Soral had some critical analysis of Marine Le Pen’s differences with her father. He also has a better approach to the issue of African immigrants/refugees, (Equality & Reconciliation), as also does Dieudonné.
The point is, that, if you listened to her speeches that were posted on this website, Marine Le Pen Specifically- advocates -fighting With Russia, and With the Syrian Army of Assad against ISIS. The French National Front supports the survival, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Arab Nation of Syria; and as such, the National Front is hugely more sympathetic to the Arab peoples, than America and the Zionists, or their Socialist puppets.

I don’t see RT being really against the FN. But I don’t see them being for them either. I would like to see an op-ed or so “for” them. But in their normal reporting I’m fine with them being neutral and just reporting what is happening. That’s what I’d like all news to do. Its the op-ed pieces that should show partiality to one side or the other.
I agree with you that the elections show the FN to be the strongest “single” party in France right now. But as I’ve written about before,the French system was designed to prevent parties like that from having power. It was meant to assure the elite to control the elections by letting several parties gang-up together and out vote a single party. Unless in any election a single party can gain over 50% of all votes they are open to that happening to them. And in a system of multiple parties its difficult for one to gain over half the votes in an election. It things get much worse in France of course that could change.And the FN or another party might get the over 50% vote. Making a 2nd round not happen. But we’ll have to wait and see on that. In the meantime the elites have pulled one more trick out of their bag.

Two senior Gulf commanders killed in Yemen
Two senior army commanders from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were killed along with two Saudi soldiers in Yemen as fighting with a Houthi militia flared before Tuesday’s expected peace talks, state media reported Monday.
Sultan Mohammed Ali al-Kitbi, an Emirati officer, was killed near Taiz, state news agency WAM reported Monday. Photographs of Abdullah al-Sahian, a top Saudi officer, were displayed by Saudi-owned al-Arabiya al-Hadath channel Monday alongside Muslim verses of mourning.

Qatar and the UAE have deadly opposing interests in the North African state.
Last month, the New York Times exposed leaked Emirati emails revealing the UAE’s shipment of arms to certain Libyan militias—in violation of a UN arms embargo—attempting to weaken Islamist groups allegedly sponsored by Qatar. Other leaked emails show how the UAE offered Bernardino León, former UN mediator for Libya, a high-paying position as director general of the Emirates Diplomatic Academy, which he accepted while serving his then-role as mediator. Given the UAE’s outright support for the Tobruk government, many have called into question the viability of the UN’s ongoing efforts in light of the perception that León’s impartiality was compromised by a conflict of interest.
In maintaining a legal, political and military campaign against political Islam, the UAE shares the Tobruk government’s conviction that the Islamist militias which have held Tripoli for the last sixteen months are “terrorists.”
Fighters loyal to Libya Dawn believe that they are waging the struggle against Qaddafi loyalists and authoritarianism by fighting forces loyal to the UN-recognized government in Tobruk. Whereas Qatar’s efforts to create a strong alliance with Egypt during Morsi’s presidency did not pay off, Doha sees Libya as an important battleground in the emirate’s ambitious foreign policy agenda.
In fact, one of the UAE’s main motivations for sponsoring the anti-Qaddafi uprising was to secure lucrative deals in the country following the dictator’s fall. In 2009, when Dubai’s real estate bubble burst, developers in the Emirates looked abroad, and viewed Libya as a valuable opportunity.

The ISIS media team have recently released yet another propaganda film (possibly titled something like “See you in Dabiq”), presumably aimed at attracting more disaffected Sunni males to their cause. It presents ISIS in a very caring light. They prepare nice healthy food at their camps, wash the dishes carefully etc. It also makes a big deal of several old tanks (T-55s ?) and a number of armored personal carriers (Soviet style BTRs ?) which are filmed making flying leaps over small sand berms etc. It also has obvious CGI depictions of the destruction of Rome.
The film has typical high productions values. One obvious thing is a deliberate red color cast. Why bother, unless it is there to make the settings more desert-like in appearance. Towards the end of the film there is a short shot of the interior of one of the BTRs. The console labels are all in (American ?) English. This is followed by several cross cut shots of the BTR being driven into a river at high speed. When the color cast is removed (so white is white), the soil is grey rather than reddish, a building behind trees on the bank has a sloping roof, and in the background there is a ferris wheel.
Hmmmm. Grey soils, a sloping building roof and a ferris wheel doesn’t seem very Middle Eastern to me.

If you take the time to read the article carefully, you will see that there is no mention of the fact that it was the British PM David Cameron,who almost within hours of, the incident started saying it was ”more likely than not” that the crash was caused by a bomb on board the aircraft. Those were his exact words ”more likely than not..”.
Now hear the disdain and sarcastic tone used in referring to the official investigation carried out by the Russian government; ”after finding what it said..”.
”Russia has said a bomb brought down the Metrojet Airbus, after finding what it said were “traces of foreign explosives” on the debris.”
Its all done subtly, and just the choice of words used is done with the aim of discrediting and casting aspersion on someone or something that is at odds with the Empire.
For example, in its reporting on Syria, the BBC almost never use any term that would convey any legitimacy to the government of Bashar Assad.The term ‘Regime’ is always used. And when something happens, Damascus is never quoted, instead it is always ”activists ”or ”opposition figures” or the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights( a 1-man show run out of the UK based on biased twitter feeds emanating from Syria).
The West have long deployed the Media as a weapon that is wielded to further the aims of the Empire. What irks them is that others like Russia has catch on and are now using their own media to pierce through the veil of ignorance that has been cast over people world wide.

Russia sets three conditions to overcome jet crisis, says envoy
Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov said Russia awaited three steps to be taken by Turkey in order to overcome the tension between the two countries and mend ties.
Karlov set an apology from the Turkish side for the downing of the Russian jet leading to the deaths of two Russian soldiers as the first condition, while he said they expected the people responsible for this act to be found and held account. The third condition was for Turkey to pay compensation for the damage Russia has come across as a result of the incident.
“If our expectations are not met, Turkey’s other announcements will not pay off,” Karlov was quoted as saying in an interview with daily Cumhuriyet on Dec. 14.

Watching the vid now, thanks blue. RT should broadcast this kind of thing more often. The British media are really protective of their global domination, aren’t they? They don’t try to hide it. They’re showing their cards. Like an uptight professor scolding a child, they don’t want to argue about hegemony, they simply state it doesn’t exist. Like their empire never ended… and of course, in a way, it didn’t. They don’t seem to understand how surreal BBC world sounds to anyone who has access to a different opinion. The statistics mentioned are very interesting, I wonder how many people actually watch CNN outside of airports and hotel lobbies these days.
It was amazing to hear that BBC woman say that it could not be hegemonic because it broadcast in different languages. (I suppose the Ukrainians in Kiev can’t be Nazis because they aren’t speaking German?).
Yes, RT should have more involved and longer discussion like that. It doesn’t have to be fancy.
RT has the fancy tech stuff down fine. Their producers, editors and photographers are very good at what they do. Their increasing audience over ten years has been impressive. If they can do conferences like this, why not put them on late at night or something for those who have the attention span? There are (or used to be) shows in Western Europe (e.g) Germany which have long drawn-out debates with several guests… glasses of wine and informal chat, etc. That format could work, you know, put it on at 2AM Eastern time… it would be cheap, too. Indeed, the BBC continues to surprise in its self love. Very interesting to hear the Chinese and Russian perspective at the end, along with the perspective on VICE, i.e. the Disney connection. Some more behind the scenes media stuff would be great. Following the money is always a good strategy, there were interesting revelations all over the place in that discussion. Thanks again.
