We spoke too soon, it turns out, about the Dr. Vladimir Mentus, the young Serbian sociologist, being released from prison and charges against him being dropped. At one point several days ago the appellate chamber did vacate the of the misdemeanour court judge’s decision sentencing Dr Mentus to thirty days for participation in the protests, specifically for “insulting” the police, and remanded the case to the lower court for reconsideration in line with its analysis. So is Dr Mentus now back home with his family? Not at all, the lower court has resentenced him to 30 days in prison, but on slightly altered grounds that he participated in acts of disorder which resulted in damage to public property. That is the way the travesty known as the “justice system” operates in Vučić’s “European Serbia.”
But unenviable as the position of Vučić’s political prisoner Vladimir Mentus may be, the tyrant Alexander Vučić is in a far worse jam. He is caught in a pincer between the demands of his Western sponsors to sign off on the recognition of Kosovo, and the swelling internal discontentment which delegitimizes him. At present, but for its disgraced president Serbia does not have any legally functioning institutions. The cabinet’s mandate ran out over a month ago. Since constitutionally the President’s role is ceremonial (although additional powers belonging to other branches of the government were unlawfully seized by the usurper) if a legally binding decision on Kosovo were to be taken, it could be done only by the prime minister and the cabinet, which are currently in a lame duck, caretaker capacity. As for Vučić’s fraudulently elected “parliament,” which needs to change the constitution for the separation of Kosovo to be legally possible, it has not been constituted yet and diehard protesters have vowed to make sure it never is and are demanding the annulment of the phony elections. Without parliament to approve it, the new government cannot be legally constituted nor can the act of treason Vučić has obligated himself to commit be performed with an appearance of constitutional regularity. So those who engineered Vučić’s installation eight years ago must deal with their puppet’s meltdown just as the task for which they installed him – recognition of the narco-state of Kosovo – is going into high gear and approaching its projected climax.
Dr Vladimir Mentus will very likely be out of the pokey in thirty days, but will Alexander Vučić by them still be around?
Ultimately, that decision will not be made by the usurper, or even by the leaderless and unorganized Serbian people, but by Western power centers and their intelligence services. They are now assessing Vučić’s overall usefulness in light of the bloody mess that his stupid and inept conduct has created. They must, of course, also calculate into their equations the impending crash of the Serbian economy, with projected one million unemployed roaming the streets. Not to be forgotten is another significant category of victims, the 1,700,000 pensioners facing a drastic reduction in their monthly allotments as government income shrinks and foreign loans, taken out under even the most usurious conditions, become increasingly difficult to arrange. Faced with the obligation of paying off billions of euros in soon to mature debts due to international creditors, with the hefty interest that those loans carry, and looking after his jobless subjects or the pensioners whom Vučić has already fleeced with impunity on numerous occasions, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out what the cornered tyrant will do. The result will be a renewed explosion of social unrest compared to which the recent turmoil will seem no more than a minor bump in the road. These are huge factors shaping the hard-nosed assessment of Vučić’s viability by whoever is assessing his usefulness, and the folks doing the assessment right now as I write this are nothing if not hard-nosed.
Sidebar: The persistent rumor that a desperate Vučić, anxious to ingratiate himself with his Western masters, is ready to appoint the chief NATO lobbyist in Serbia, head of the Russophobic Soros NGO CEAS (Center for Euroatlantic Studies), Jelena Milić, to the post of foreign minister or some other high position in the new cabinet, gained credence today. The main regime rag, “Informer,” published Milić’s letter to Tania Fajon and several other EU officials who were rather mildly critical of police brutality in Serbia, telling them that everything is fine and warning them not to interfere in the regime’s internal affairs. The odious Milić is ingratiating herself with Vučić, who may have decided already to use her to try to ingratiate himself with his Western NATO masters. If the despised Milić is appointed to any government position, even cleaning lady in the foreign ministry, in the long run that will not be the factor that could save Vučić, but it will be a slap in the face for Russia and clear proof that it miscalculated completely when it bet, however grudgingly, on the Serbian tyrant.
To this dismal picture should be added ominous warning signals that the same people who invented Vučić and put him in place are now busy reinventing him in the form of a resurgent Western financed “civic opposition,” ready to jump in and take over, possibly in a palace coup, should Vučić try to weasel out of the treasonous commitments made to his foreign masters.
These characters are, to be sure, just as despised as Vučić. As we pointed out in earlier sit-reps, they were booed off the stage and physically chased away by protesting patriotic citizens when they tried to mingle with the crowds to profit from the photo-op and misrepresent themselves as popular tribunes. They are, however, being organized by Vučić’s masters, persistently and with considerable fanfare, as Serbia’s potential shadow government in waiting. After a suitably arranged “color revolution,” they would be ready and able to complete their predecessor’s job. If the usurper is on sleeping tablets, there are sound reasons for his distress.
To sum up, Vučić is the man that absolutely no one is happy with. The population loathes him for his disastrous and injurious policies and sees through all his lies. His Western backers have good cause to be upset and impatient, while harbouring serious doubts about his further utility. Their problem, as well as Vučić’s, is how to neutralize popular discontentment, which so far has not shown the concerted strength required to overthrow the rotten system, but has nevertheless proved seriously disruptive. Most concerning of all, its potential for further radicalization, especially if the unstable tyrant again overreacts and creates a catalyst for popular mobilization, presently is a “known unknown,” but still very much on the minds of all concerned.
Vučić’s ultimate fate will be unpleasant, but it will most likely be decided by his obviously dissatisfied foreign sponsors, not by anything he does. A new team eager to prove its loyalty and plunder the little that is left of Serbia is waiting in the wings and the condemned, lonely man in the presidential palace knows it.
If Vučić’s fate is not settled in Serbia (which for him would be the most unpleasant option), he will have to look for a corner of this earth where his pestilential presence would still be tolerated and where he and the remnants of his criminal entourage might have access to the fruits of their immense plunder. Since deposed and no longer useful puppets of the globalist system, after being discarded, with remarkable regularity become global fugitives, finding a safe haven will be an incredibly complicated challenge.
That is why with all his current travails, the young scholar Dr Vladimir Mentus is in far better shape than Serbia’s pathetic Ozymandias, the “great” bumbler and nincompoop, Alexander Vučić. The bright young man at least has a future, and the prison time he can simply chalk up to life experience. Who knows, it may even result in a brilliant sociological dissertation.
What a mess!
Anyway, Vučic isa disposable puppet. Let Russia rule the circus.

“When it comes to the 5th column, we too have it in Serbia. They are pro-Western liberals, blood brothers of liberals in Russia, and in reality nothing more than political mercenaries, always prepared to sell their services. During the past days they have been “active” in Belgrade, causing trouble in front of the Parliament building. And what kind of trouble did they cause ? They sent in football hooligans, backed by immature teenagers, to take control of the Parliament, and in the process doing their best to provoke the police to retaliatory action. They failed. The police were very professional, while the young, foolish teenagers began to disperse, realizing they have been duped, being transformed into stooges. In effect we had Soros type subversive methods, where a minority decided to represent the majority and in the process tried to control the majority. The tactic failed miserably. The majority did not join the minority, and there was no Kiev style color revolution.”

Thank you for quoting me. Everything I wrote stands. The unnamed author is using the same political rhetoric that was used against President Milosevic during the 1990’s. For example, he is accusing President Vućić of being a tyrant. Strange. I was not aware that I was living in a tyranny, as I am leading a perfectly normal life and nobody is bothering me. Not only is the author using political rhetoric from the 1990’s, he has also resorted to infantile tactics, listing certain “political” figures which I think are unknown even to the Almighty. For example, in his previous article he listed that kid who is studying mathematics in France, and presenting him as some sort of political “activist” and “victim”. Indeed. Strange I never heard of him before. Finally, just to reassure readers that the political situation in Belgrade is perfectly stable, the bulk of the country is behind President Vućić, while a color revolution has no chance of succeeding. And Serbian liberals were indeed trying to instigate a color revolution, their Western masters teaching them to use identical methods that were used in Kiev in 2014. In Kiev neo-Nazis from Western Ukraine were used. In Belgrade football hooligans were used, since there are no neo-Nazis toi be found. The attempted color revolution was a laughable failure. Makes you wonder what kind of analysis Western government agencies made when they thought that the population of Belgrade would join a bunch of football hooligans in taking over the Parliament building and instigating a “revolution”. Even the immature teenagers who initially joined the football hooligans backed off, realizing they were duped.
Very good point, ser. I dont understand what this sort of article is doing on this blog. And the tone of his words… In 2014, this was the best source if information, not just about Ukraine and Russia but orthodox christian perspective on state of the world. Very strange.
Urosius
Yes, strange indeed. I too don’t think this sort of article should be posted on this website.
I think it should be posted. Why? Because only when it is posted do the voices of Serbs get heard in the comments section, saying what the real situation is.
Biswapriya Purkayastha
This unnamed author cannot possibly represent the views of the majority of the population in Serbia. What he has done is to misrepresent the situation, using liberal political rhetoric from the 1990’s, which is totally devoid of reality. What we had was an attempt at a color revolution, which failed miserably. The author has gone out of his way to conceal this.
I had written in my response on the first of this series of articles that it looks just like a bought and paid for colour revolution to me. That was when the “imminent fall” of the Vučić regime was being prophesied. Any such “popular revolution” is never spontaneous as presented. It is either a tool of outside interests from the start, or else it is hijacked by outside interests at a very early stage in the proceedings. That Serbia did *not* have a successful colour revolution indicates that the Vučić regime has a lot more active and passive support than the article would indicate. Along with Hong Kong, it represents evidence that the colour revolution model is running out of steam.

You also wrote that in your comment on July 15:
“The internal situation in Russia is almost identical to the internal situation in Serbia..”
Are you truly comparing a statesman like Putin to a political prostitute like Vucic?
Also Vucic has no where near the popularity in Serbia as Putin does in Russia!
I can understand that many of us are wary about the situation in Serbia given what happened 20 years ago with Otpor etc. but to put Vucic on a pedestal …??
Serbian girl
Yes, President Vućić does not have the popularity of President Putin. On the other hand, how much popularity do Western controlled liberals have in Serbia ?
When in one of my previous comments I stated that the internal situation in Russia was almost identical to the internal situation in Serbia, I was talking about internal political situations. Both Russia and Serbia have 5th column liberals, who are doing their best to weaken both countries, bringing them closer to the West and NATO. Both countries have also communist political remnants, the difference being that in Serbia the communists are almost forgotten, while in Russia they still present a political force, although not a great one. Поздрав.
With no credible ‘leaders’ and insufficient strength to rout out the existing garbage, Serbia’s long-suffering people remain subservient to their Western agitators. I think only a war can change this in the short to medium term. TEP.
One may wonder, might Vučić now in desperation attempt “salvation” by suddenly turning Serbia towards Russia “all the way”? Although … one can hardly expect that Putin would even dream of obliging…
The Serbs are the only people to have managed to throw away that garbage Covid crazyness.
That is a real accomplishment, and one can hope that others will follow.
kapimo I haven’t followed events in Serbia so closely, but I do follow nearly every article by one Russian who completely agrees with you ………and I posted his article and some choice quotes from it here:

“… Catastrophic Picture of the Demise of the World’s and Vučić’s Economy …”
“… In this broadcast, Branko Dragaš, our well-known economist and member of the Svetlo (Light) Мovement, describes in detail the catastrophic state of the economies of America, the European Union and Serbia. “In just 15 weeks, 45 million Americans lost jobs, while Trump, trying to save America from the clutches of the “Deep State”, furiously prints dollars – without coverage, and, to calm social tensions, gives each family $2,400 a month. The situation in Serbia is even worse, and the economists on the Movement Svetlo team believe that there will be a complete financial collapse. The drop in GDP this year will be at least 20-30%, and sobering of people will come when it becomes impossible to pay pensions and salaries in the public sector,” – considers Branko Dragaš. …”
Please, please do not foist him off on us in California!!! But who knows where the Deep State protection plan may place him if, indeed, he does not join the unfortunate Skripals swimming with the fishes. I hope your country
emerges better in this period…it seems a grim one for the whole world but if a people find early a strong solidarity within itself it will most certainly emerge stronger in the long run.

“… But who knows where the Deep State protection plan may place him …”
Perhaps give him a “portfolio” in Ukraine … in Saakashvili’s cabinet :-D
Vučić’s political ”home turf” is a no-brainer: There is a tiny little pseudo-state nearby hosting a very big Narcotics And Terror Organization base on its ”territory”. Vučić should feel safe and comfortable there.
Off-Topic: Just came across the work of Boris Malagurski and his documentaries about the Western-induced destruction of former Yugoslavia. For those who haven’t watched it yet, the link to the First Part (out of 3: 2010/2017/2020) is:

I thank you for this and do not think it is off topic as it shows the destruction of Yugoslavia, and consequently all of its republics. Focus being on Serbia
I have seen part 1 somewhere in 2012, via globalresearch.ca, but have not seen the other 2 parts. Now watching part 3 and will go back to part 2 later.
This is about poisoning the country with depleted uranium and GMO, like they did to Falluga in Iraq.
Thank you very much, and if Serbian girl has some time, it would be lovely to hear from her later regarding this long documentary. If you have time…
So much damage has been inflicted specifically on Serbia and BIH ( Bosnia and Herzegovina), the sheer terror of it all.
Thank you…
only terror and genocide inflicted on Bosnian Muslims and Kosovo Muslim Albanians is that orchestrated by Serbs and Serbia
It doesn’t seem to me that the West will want to let go of Vucic until he resolves for them their unfinished business in Kosovo, ie, to legitimize their illegal and immoral backing of terrorist insurgents and the subsequent bombing of Yugoslavia.
He has always been a disposable leader for the but I’m afraid that in the case of him caving in completely to Western demands, Serbia might turn into a larger version of Montenegro. Serbian and Montenegrin regimes share the same methods in ruling their respective countries – polarizing society, destroying the institutions, and electoral manipulation.
At this point, it would be far better for Vucic to make a quiet exit, so he at least avoids the ill fate of going down in Serbian history as the man who legalized the surrender of Kosovo. The question is, how much freedom of action has he got, and how much he owns to his Western backers.
It seems that Johny on the spot lives on another planet. Wonder when he is going to write that “opposition” was regularly visiting US embassy before the protests asking for help. Probably to save Kosovo (not) what an irony.
https://www.alo.rs/vesti/politika/bosko-obradovic-u-rezidenciji-americke-ambasade-dobija-tajni-zadatak-od-metju-palmera/234396/vest
It is you who was either on a different planet or munching on your sandwich when writing your comment (for the information of non-Serbian readers, the Vucic regime typically rewards its internet bots with delicious sandwiches for the performance of their disinformation duties). I don’t know about opposition figure Bosko Obradovic receiving a “secret assignment” from US deputy Secretary of State Matthew Palmer, although I do not discard the possibility. Practically all public figures in Serbia are sold out, including many private citizens who perform casual duties for the regime for degrading rewards. I suppose the regime rag “Alo,” which you cite, bugs the US Embassy in Belgrade and has reliable information about conversations that take place there. But speaking seriously, Mr. Bot, it is Alexander Vucic who owes his political career to close collaboration with Western power centers and intelligence services. The only debatable issue is whether he was recruited by MI6 in 2007-2008 to help wreck the Radical Party, or was working for them even before that. Vucic’s first wife Ksenija thinks that his links with foreign intelligence go way back:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLIafMKUJ9Y
Others think that Vucic’s collaboration with foreign intelligence began in earnest around 2008 when he and Tomislav Nikolic were given the task (by the same people who are now tasking “opposition figures” also on their payroll) to use segments of the wrecked Radical Party and misleading patriotic rhetoric to gain power and use it to work for the benefit of their Western masters:
https://beograd24.rs/1019-2/
And here we see Vucic receiving no less than the head of MI6, Alex Younger, for a tete-a-tete in 2018:
https://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2018&mm=02&dd=09&nav_id=103455
One wonders what instructions Vucic received from his guest at that meeting?
And let’s not forget that in 2013, when visiting London, Vucic “held useful talks with Foreign Secretary William Hague and Defence Secretary Philip Hammond as well as the heads of MI6 and MI5, Sir John Sawers and Andrew Parker,” as we learn from The Independent of August 4, 2013 ( https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/aleksandar-vucic-the-man-who-s-bringing-belgrade-in-from-the-cold-8745600.html). It is highly unusual for a head of state to be meeting with foreign intelligence heads. Any idea what they might have talked about? Global warming, perhaps.
@ Johnny-on-the-spot
Thank you for the revealing link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLIafMKUJ9Y (and the other three).
The text under the video says
“…
ARE THERE STILL FOOLS WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT VUČIĆ IS AN ARCH-TRAITOR !?
Aleksandar Vučić was recruited by Serbian enemies two decades ago, in fact, before the bombing of Serbia. His task is not only the creation of a Greater Albania (his dad’s still not materialised dream), but also the complete economic, cultural and spiritual murder of the Serbian people.
Will we have the strength to resist this evil? The army and police have less and less time to do their constitutional task and prevent the traitor with the obvious intention of burying the country he heads.

Perhaps the author of this article would care to divulge his identity. He is the only author on this website who is using a pen name.
Ksenija Vucic out of context, cut and paste.
Nothing compromising in Independent article, Serbia was economically down and we are now seven years later… British government is done, Brexit happened and Serbia is never stronger.
Concerning B92, well remind me never to vote for whoever you are supporting, because obviously has no clue how the politics is conducted….
The demands of the West are all-or-nothing recognition. All partial solutions Vucic has proposed have been shot down, from “not objecting” to Kosovo UN seat, to territorial partition of Kosovo along ethnic lines.
Vucic recently said EU membership was “not enough” for Kosovo recognition (proof he is haggling over the price not the principle.)
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-serbia-russia-kosovo/serbia-ready-to-sacrifice-eu-membership-over-kosovo-deal-idUSKBN23P2G0
The West has now thrown him a bone with indictment, 20 years later, of UCK Snake- head Hashim Thaci aka “President” of Kosovo. (Not much of a bone: all UCK trials in the Hague have ended in acquittals due to witnesses disappearing or committing suicide).

I sometimes wonder if the maximalist demands of the Empire are meant to be rejected. In any case Serbia can wait this out. The Albanians are the ones in limbo.

You have replied.

Like the vanquishing Empire tried to do with Iran/Persia for so long, they wanted to face them with the outrageous demands no one self respecting nation can accept, to gain the excuse for the blatant attack:
Which path to Persia

That’s the plan…but some people (like Jhonny) are not happy about it. They would rather see blood on the streets. The good news is, they are an inconsequential minority.
PS: I want my sandwich.
“They are now assessing Vučić’s overall usefulness in light of the bloody mess that his stupid and inept conduct has created. They must, of course, also calculate into their equations the impending crash of the Serbian economy…”
What crash?
https://ec.europa.eu/info/sites/info/files/economy-finance/tp042_en.pdf
In the first quarter of 2020, Serbia achieved a robust real growth of gross domestic product of 5.0 percent, the European Commission stated in the just published quarterly report on economic trends in the candidate countries and potential candidates for EU membership.
The Commission points out that this year-on-year growth was equally contributed by an increase in gross investment, government and private spending, and changes in inventories.
Growth in government spending reportedly accelerated sharply, to 12 percent year-on-year, while gross fixed capital formation grew by 10.7 percent.
Household consumption growth remained broadly stable, at 3.2 percent year-on-year.
The report also states that the unemployment rate of the population over the age of 15 remained stable at 9.7 percent in the first quarter of 2020, and that it decreased by 2.4 percentage points compared to last year and by about half in compared to the level five years ago.
The commission points out that several short-term indicators had an impact on economic activity in the second quarter, during the period of economic closure, but also that a recovery began in May.
Thank you Mr. Busy Bot #2 on this website, and bon appetit with your sandwish. Now do us a favor, please, and quote us the North Korean government’s economic statistics that we might also admire their brilliant policies. Very soon, when America, Germany, and other countries crash economically, smart people will be in a dilemma where to move to enjoy a prosperous life, to Serbia or to North Korea.
@Johny, are you probably Djilas supporter? The former failed premier that stole millions from Serbian people and now running N1 and Croatian NovaS (with west narrative) tv house?
Bot? You call millions of Serbian people that support and vote for Vucic that name? Would’t be then the other way around?
Nothing substantial as expected…
A lot of lamenting and little content. My impression about these “articles”, they are actually profiting off the fact that somehow “being against a regime” lands you immediately into a role of “a contributor”. However there is a level of critical thinking that is missing since such a contributor could be also a kind of Trojan horse. Using different platforms that are not well acquainted with the actual situation to promote something that stands for something completely different. You are misinterpreting actual data (deliberately or due to pure lack of knowledge) and even then when answering there is no factual argument supported by evidence.
The only argument is to call an opponent a bot. I actually avoid replying to this kind of content and do it only when I perceive something as pure deception and misuse of good people to push your own agenda.
I would still prefer that you explain to us why “patriotic opposition” was visiting certain doubtful places and of course I expect you to back your claim about “crashing economics”.
Thank you.
Vucic just won re-election in a landslide. 70%. Is this article credible? Are the protesters Optor? Protests smell of usa.
Hey, you are right, its a detail I missed! Its not as good as Tito’s 99,99%, but Vucic is getting there. With 6,5 million voters in a country of seven million people, where apparently even toddlers are voting for Vucic, I am sure the voting was completely regular. After all, Vucic counted the votes and we have his word for it. Enjoy your sandwich, buddy, you earned it today!
“The UNESCO Department of Bioethics for Europe demands the urgent release of a young scientist, Dr. Vladimir Mentus, and all others who were, as it was assessed, “arrested and prosecuted with the legally impermissible use of physical force.”
Seriously – you really think this guy isn’t part of a Soro’s NGO. He’s a traitor.
Enjoy your sandwich!
I never had occasion to read of a major political upheaval in any country, let alone Serbia, in the manner laid forth here, the journalism is an insult to readers and the Serbian people.
There have been a number of serious complaints by commentators concerning the previous reports.
Sorry Saker, but these comments need to be addressed with some collective, non emotional response.
Sorry buddy, the Saker is not subject to Vucic’s journalistic standards, and neither am I. But enjoy your sandwich anyway.
Johnny.
Western countries, now appearing to be fascist althogether to implement their one world corporate overnational socialist state (one world government), also appear to have rigged electoral systems widely spread by the US intelligence or deep state as it was seen in Ukraine operations on the elections. Electoral systems of ill reputations probably have put these jokers into office in the first place.
I cannot otherwise believe that the Serbian people with fresh memories of the NATO attack on their country and forcefully seperating Kosovo, would have a chance of winning a free and fair elections. And yet it happened easily almost systematic, as a machine that had been programmed.
On any note, elections are not free and fair any more due to the enourmous TV and press weighing heavily towards fixed candidates of propagandized material owned by the western system. The same happened in Ukraine prior to the coup d’etat, an enormous media propaganda in favour of EU and western systems.
In France likewise, president Macron was ushered forward by the media, a nobody, a Rothschild banker, a campaign financed partly by George Soros and certainly by the entire Rothschild syndicate.
In Britain Theresa May was likewise ushered in as a prime minister (non-elected) by the conspiracy to get rid of David Cameroun and leave the EU. Theresa May is a Rothschild banker. And everybody here probably know that the Rothschild syndicate conspired to bring down Ukraine for their personal enrichment.
Well, those electronic voting machines are manipulated the operator may access the data and change the outcome of any elections where such machines are used, and that means almost anywhere at this time.
In France the elections were accessed by the secret police to ensure there was no Russian interference, you see the implications of that.
In the USA the deep state attempted to have Homeland Security services (the intelligence services) run the elections due to “Russian interference”. Well it has failed, now the deep state and the Dem Party are attempting to have another corrupt scheme take place, mail in ballots (votes) ballots that first will have to be issued and mailed to a registered voter, then it has to be mailed in. A total insecure voting method. They are running these schemes everywhere, I cannot see a democratic system anywhere, maybe we should look to Russia ?
The riots just happen because of Covid – Don’t make me laugh.
A SERBIAN political activist who has been picked as rector of St Andrews University has said he hopes to inspire students to push for “social change”.
Srdja Popovic defeated the leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, Willie Rennie, to win the vote for the 53rd rector.
He follows in the footsteps of names such as JM Barrie, Rudyard Kipling and John Cleese.
Mr Popovic, a former Nobel Peace Prize nominee, founded the student protest movement Optor! which led the campaign to bring down Slobodan Milosovic.
You do not mention Otpor in your post. Given its activities in other countries, Otpor surely cannot be watching from the sidelines in its own territory. What role is it playing in the current unrest?
Srdja Popovic Covid 19 riot initiative.
https://twitter.com/i/status/1273626463300997121
And his new initiative involves wearing a scarlet wristband…
The symbolism is getting more and more obvious.
Cirsium
I don’t think he is playing any role in the unrest. He has a very poor reputation in Serbia.
Currently, he is a rector at St. Andrews. I looked at his latest twitter post (someone posted it below.) One of his hashtags doesn’t work and the twitter address seems incorrect. Looks like he’s involved in some half-baked scheme..as usual.. Much more dangerous are other organisations e.g. NED, CEAS, US embassy itself…
Only thing that surprises me is that those Quslings have not been dealt with as Quislings are, they have no shame.
We are getting there. There is a special place in hell reserved for them.
Here’s the story line for the riot – the Optor propaganda poster in English. Actual poster has blue lettering on yellow poster board. The extreme right and the extreme all holding hands together. Ain’t it lovely.
WHAT’S HAPPENING
RIGHT NOW IN
BELGRADE, SERBIA
People (everyone from extreme left to extreme right)
have gathered in front of the parliament building to
protest against the president’s dictatorship (you can find
a lot about that online mainly from American sources, but
VII try to link them in my bio)
The police have pepper sprayed (20+ canisters) the
crowd and beat them with sticks, mainly those who were
closest to the building
THERE IS NO MEDIA COVERAGE EXCEPT FOR NI (which is
CNN’s channel) BECAUSE THE PRESIDENT OWNS ALL
TELEVISION AND PRINT MEDIA.
There are only two female journalists on the scene that
have been pepper sprayed and are struggling right now
to inform the people about the events, so are the two
cameramen.
Things are escalating quickly and police are becoming
more and more violent!
My friend said, Vučić will escape to China by the end of the year. I didn’t believe him at first but (language removed ,MOD) it he could be right
Thank you, Jonny-on-the-spot. Your reporting from Belgrade is accurate. Keep up the good work.
In your reply to a comment, you made a great point, there being 6.5 million registered voters in a country of 7 million ppl. Sure, there are some voters from neighboring states who have residency and voting rights in Serbia, but those numbers are absurd no matter the mental gymnastics to justify them.
The leader of OTPOR is in Belgrade currently. If the west wanted Vučić out, Srdja Popovic and his network would already be hard at work gathering 100s of 1000s to protest. Just the same as they did in the 90s. Plenty of cash would be handed out to protestors. If these ppl vote for Vučić in exchange for a bag of sugar and flour, they will protests against him for $20, $30 per day. If west wants Vučić out, he is gone.
As the president of Serbia, this one man has no right to run this country as his personal fiefdom. The president’s role is defined in the constitution, and he is violating it. The man is a tyrant who treats the citizens of this country with utter contempt.
It seems that the final betrayal of Kosovo is being preapred. In order to do this, they must change that pesky constitution. With the latest election fraud, Vučić party has the parlamentary majority to do this. They do not even need a referendum. Not that it matters. They can fix the vote any way they want. After all, they count the votes and the EU rubber stamps it for approval.
The situation is bleak. Serbia is on verge of destruction. After recognition of Rep. Kosova, there is no going back, and there is no future. The worst part is that the Church remains silent. We are in a situation akin to Prophet Iliya. There are still ppl in this country who will not bend the knee to pagan gods, nowdays in form of shiny green and purple papers. But there seem to be so few of them.
Do not weep for this county and its ppl. We brought this on ourselves.
One thing is certain though. Those few, who do not bow to pagan gods, will not go down quietly.
The is pretty loud SILENCE from the Church.
“In early 2018, Patriarch Irinej made a remark unprecedented in its praise of a political leader in Serbia.
‘People can say this and that, but we see how much the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, is fighting to save Kosovo and Metohija,” he said. “We thank the Lord for bestowing upon us such a man to fight like a lion for the Serbian people.’
When OPTOR takes over Serbia, Kosovo will be gone the next day.
When OTPOR takes over? It’s 2020. OTPOR took over 20 years ago.
Pindos,
If the Patriarch has indeed made such fawning endorsement of a politician like Vucic, then he is not fit to be head of the SPC.
Would you be so kind to post a link? Serbian Cyrillic is fine.
Is there – I address my question to Serbian readers, not to the author of this article – is there any actual *proof* (not innuendo and suspicion, but proof) that Vučić is willing or has promised to recognise the so called state of Kosovo? I have always had the impression that if this was to be done it would have been done by Vučić already, not when the EU is obviously beginning to crumble. Since it has not been done by the Vučić regime so far, it would have to wait for another regime, assuming that the EU even has any need for the Serb recognition of Kosovo. In fact I do not see why the EU would even require Serbia to recognise Kosovo; if it does, that provides a powerful weapon in Russia’s hands to compel the EU to recognise the accession of Crimea.
well he did everything but recognising Kosovo….he included Soros and his Foundation into Government, Prime Minister is lesbian, vaccination is mandatory, all citizens were declared “volontier organ donors” by law, he pulled out institutions of Serbia from North of Kosovo with Serb majority (under threats and beating of local Serbs), created borderline and border-crossings, he agitates for totaly worthless highway Nis – Drach (Albania), which could be only for NATO of use, for easier deployment of additional troups, etc…
he is soros/globalist boy, with a nationalistic rhetoric as a cover…and what we were watching is a Play with both actors – nationlist and liberal, being bought and payed by Soros…
The western powers generally do not hide their feelings of distaste for governments, head of state & politicians they oppose & wish to depose. Aleksandar Vucic receives nothing but favourable press in the west & the attitude towards him is positive, essentially revealing that he is their man. That should be patently obvious, but some people are deluded into believing that every protest in Belgrade in a Soros inspire colour revolution attempt. Yes, the US embassy does organise the likes of Dragan Djilas, Vuk Jeremic, Sergej Trifunovic & co. to hit the streets at particular moments as a pressure valve, because despite the fact that Vucic is intent on formally recognizing Kosovo-Metohija as a separate state, he has not done it yet, due to the pressure from other sources, the population in part but they – at present – do not present much of a threat, the Serbian Orthodox Church is his biggest headache & of course, Russia. This is why, amongst other reasons, Vucic has been assisting Milo Djukanovic in Montenegro in his drive to eliminate the presence of the Serbian Orthodox Church there, in particular Mitropolit Amfilohije & Vladika Atansija. Vladika Atanasija by the way called out people like Seselj & Vucic as early as 1993 when they were supposedly rabid nationalists, for puppets of the neo-communist regime of Slobodan Milosevic – essentially providing the latter with nationalist cover for allowing historic Serbian territories in Krajina, Bosna-Herzegovina & Kosmet itself, over to the enemy. And as for Vucic falling from power – to whom I ask? There is no one with the organizational strength & infrastructure to take him on, except for the Church, which in the end, probably will come into open conflict with him, but that has not happened yet, largely because Patriarch Irinej is, from all appearances, under control. So for now Vucic is secure, if & when he makes a serious attempt to recognize Kosovo, it is at that point that the house of cards will begin to collapse. And something here should be understood, Vucic is not important, he is part of a 5th column that descends from the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, as in the rest of eastern Europe, this was always a western orientated group that care little for the formal ideology of socialist transformation but cared a great deal for cultural Marxist internationalism – that is there thing, being a citizen of the world as they like to put it, meaning being part of the Davos club.
Would it be OK with all of you posters to ask Saker and Amarynth to publish all the sequences of ‘The weight of chains?’ One, two and three…
I think it is very important to understand what has happened to our country Yugoslavia, whatever we were…
#Ask them to publish Malagurski, well done…
With my kind regards
this protest scared both Vučić and Western media/NGO mercienaries – because protesters chanted “Kosovo is Serbia”!!!
That was a reason why this text is totaly off the target. It was genuine peoples rebbellion against “locking down”, because similar was percieved as method of suppresing public unrest in case Vučić finnaly decides to recognise Kosovo as independant country.
“Colored revolutionaries” already taken over protests against Milošević, in the past, which was also initiated by surrendering Kosovo and Metohia province to NATO occupation force (last drop, after his treatchery against Croatian and Bosnian Serbs, leaving them on mercy of neo-nazi/jihadist enemies, backed by NATO.
So, 5th column imidiately activated, they tried to steal protest, again (!), which caused clashes among protesters.
Both Vičić media, and globalist media (that means – ALL MEDIA), was horrified when protesters started to chant “Kosovo is Serbia”, both attacked them as “fascists, nazi” for days…
Here is a text written by someone quite different from “Johny-on-the-spot” (who is entirely “off the spot”):
