Dear friend,
Today I am starting a new kind of post – a short news update. This is not an open thread where everybody shares all the latest information during a crisis, nor is it a full analysis. In this new category, I plan to include several small news which are relevant to what was discussed in the past or factoids/developments which might be discussed in a full analysis in the near future. I will include links to my sources only when I have them readily available, otherwise you will have to wait until my analyses to get the full sources. Note that this new category will appear under the “Saker Analyses and Interviews” section to give it maximal visibility. Finally, and just to make this clear, the regular rules of moderation will apply to this new section too. I hope that you will find this feature useful (by all means, let me know). Cheers
The Saker
PS: please feel free to also contribute short news items in the “short news update” section!
- Amazing! The US forces in Afghanistan left the (Soviet built) airbase in Bagram at night, not even informing their supposed Afghan “allies”. The base was looted for several hours as the US Americans left A LOT of stuff, including guitars and plenty of weapons (all of which will now go on sale in the various public markets in Afghanistan.
- Comparing the Soviet and the US performance in Afghanistan is quite amazing. To make a long story short, I find the performance of Uncle Shmuel’s forces absolutely appalling and laughable. Killed lots of people, built nothing, never controlled much of the country, fled in the middle of the night and abandoned its allies. They literally switched off the electricity in Bagram and then fled. Absolutely typical “garden variety” for all US interventions. The Soviets even left with all their dignity safe – but the wannabe world hegemon had to leave in shame, like he always does.
- The Taliban are now shooting Afghan collaborators in the streets, and floods of terrified refugees are now running for the border in the hope of escaping the Taliban’s wrath.
- Did you know that since the US invasion of Afghanistan the volume of heroin produced by this country increased FIFTEEN FOLD!
- Bottom line: the US+NATO+EU were defeated by the Taliban. Totally and comprehensively.
- Today Russian Su-30SM has intercepted a US Poseidon aircraft over the Black Sea and forced it to turn away from the Russian border.
- Three more days left for Sea Breeze 2021. Never say never, and we can’t be sure, but I don’t believe that NATO will try to breach the Russian maritime border again (these guys lost a long war to the Afghans, I don’t think they have the stomach for Russia!).
This is how the Soviet Forces left Afghanistan:
And this is how the “greatest military force in the Milky Way” left Afghanistan:
- There are several reports, so far unconfirmed, that US bases in Iraq and Syria have come under attack. There has also been a huge explosion in the port of Dubai.
- UK Foreign Minister Raab just repeated in the British Parliament that the British Navy fully intends to repeat the actions of the HMS Defender.
Definitely food for thought. Another Empire bites the dust in ancient Kharasaan, which even Alexander The Great could conquer. The British tried it in 1869 with 16,000 soldiers and failed. Let this be a lesson for the current hegemon in case it didn’t learn the lesson from Vietnam after losing 58,281 lives (over 300,000 wounded) that a standing army can never win a gorilla war… especially, one that is dragged out for that long (also lasted nearly as long 1955 – 1975).
Gorilla war, now there’s a thought. How about a Chimpanzee war!? Sorry to be pedantic but I think it is Guerrilla War.
The sun has set on the Zionist led NATO machinations and a new world order has quietly sprouted. God in on the side of Taliban; no force in the Universe can defeat them now.
Within 12 months Taliban will establish control over Afghanistan and thereafter within ONE WEEK, they will issue a Fatwa to destroy 100% of Afghan poppy and opium eliminating CIA’s biggest source of funding.
………within a decade, the Taliban will establish a “just” society the world will crave to adopt. In my opinion South America as a continent will be the first to enter Islam.
2020s most likely will be the last decade for “Jewry led Usury” to loosen its shackles from the throats of humanity and disappear.
Welcome to a “just” new world order Taliban will showcase to the world.
“Blessed are you, Lord our God, Ruler of the Universe, who has not made me a woman.”
Quite the dreamer you are!!! Taliban got into the poppy game to keep the funds going. My bet is either the US is still in control of the heroin trade or have made a deal with the Taliban. Either way, the new Taliban govt will need massive funds to build anything in Afghanistan.
You are incorrect. Alexander the great conquered present day Afghanistan and so did Genghis Khan in the early 13th century.
Alexander actually married an Afghan princess, Oxana to cement the alliance. The Seleucid Empire survived for over 200 years after Alexander’s death
Alexander married Roxana, the daughter of the chief of the Iranian satrapy of Bactria. Roxana was captured by Alexander, and she became his third Iranian wife.
There were no Afghans at that time, and the country was called “Iran-zemin”, ie. Land of the Aryans, or alternatively, the Achaemenid Persian Empire, according to the Greeks.
On an unrelated note, in Slavic tongues today, the word for land or soil is zem, like chernozem, the fertile black earth of Ukraine. Here, zem is derived from Iranian zemin. And the ancient Slavs had a god named Chernobog, the black god, where the word bog is also derived from Iranian baga=god. The English boogey man is also derived from ‘baga’. And the Slavic sun god was called Khorsh; the Iranian word for sun being ‘Khorshid’.
During Alexander’s day, from Ukraine to India, most people spoke some variation of Indo-Iranian languages; Bactrian being the language spoken in the North of modern Afghanistan, from whence came the princess Roxana.
where the word bog is also derived from Iranian baga=god
Actually there long discussion about that in linguist circles, prevailing notion is that old theory of Iranian loanwords in slavic languages does not hold and they are in fact going straight from roots of Indoeuroepan language.
Yes, the Zionists have a major campaign against Iran.
The Persian Walnut has been renamed English Walnut. The Persian Olive is now called Russian Olive.
The fact that Iran was the homeland of the Germans and by extension the homeland of the ancestors of the English is swept under the rug, even though Herodotus mentions the Germans as an Iranian tribe, and Iran still has a province today called Kerman, where the Germans used to live. Even though there is an ancient ruined city in Iran called Asagarta, near Kerman, which the Eddas remember as Asgard, city of the gods.
Even though the Persian word for mother is madar, father is pedar, brother is baradar, daughter is dokhtar, etc.
Even though the Iranian name Roxana, from 2300 years ago, is still in usage in English.
Not just the Slavs, but all Aryan people originated in Iran. If the Jews didn’t control the propaganda, this would be self evident. It was self-evident to 18-19th century scholars, who discovered the link.
Friend, no one has ever taken Afghanistan. Even Alexander the Great. Yes, they have passed, they have trampled but they have never dominated. In fact, Alexander the Great was defeated there.
PS Dear Saker, if you can write a site where we can learn news about Latin America, Russia, China. Because the western ones are no longer read, all lies and slander.
Thank you, from Greece.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nader_Shah
“Nader rose to power during a period of chaos in Iran after a rebellion by the Hotaki Pashtuns had overthrown the weak Shah Sultan Husayn, while the arch-enemy of the Safavids, the Ottomans, as well as the Russians had seized Iranian territory for themselves. Nader reunited the Iranian realm and removed the invaders. He became so powerful that he decided to depose the last members of the Safavid dynasty, which had ruled Iran for over 200 years, and become Shah himself in 1736. His numerous campaigns created a great empire that, at its greatest extent, briefly encompassed what is now part of or includes Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the North Caucasus, Iraq, Turkey, Turkmenistan, _Afghanistan_, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Pakistan, Oman and the Persian Gulf..”
moonlight flit for the Yanks. How embarrassing! Trying to avoid any ‘helicopters over Saigon’ photo ops or Taliban rocket attacks.
The real reason for moonlight retreat is time difference and budget issues. When in Afgan is moonlight in the US are working hours. Do you know the cost of online pshychological consultations ? All that troops victoriusly retreating will need some professiomal help when handling high doses of endotrophine in their bodies. And to call professional psyhologists for help during night shift in US is very expensive.
They left like ‘thieves in the night’ !
Did you know that since the US invasion of Afghanistan the volume of heroin produced by this country increased FIFTEEN FOLD!
That says it all right there. Who says that the invasion wasn’t a massive success? All a matter of perspective, I guess. The Dark Ops boys say “we’ve got other funding sources now, but thanks for doing business with us all these years.”
I never cease to be amazed at the people who never cease to proclaim that a war was a failure.
They NEVER are failures. They used people as cannon fodder, they took over governments and now have firm control of their corrupt politicians and voting systems, they destroyed infrastructure, they reduced high standards of living to poverty and destitution, they installed Rothchild controlled central banking (this is a big key here – look at the non-Rothchild controlled central banks as at mid 1990s and then see where all the wars were!), they used taxpayer dollars to fund it all, their MIC businesses made a fortune, their construction companies made a fortune rebuilding some infrastructure that they destroyed, their resource businesses moved in and took control of the country’s resources, their telcos/utilities moved and and took over services, etc etc etc.
EVERY war for them is a huge success. ALWAYS.
yes, I’d go one further to state that their plans and targets are fully met, chaos produced all around, chaos leading to more chaos, all is well – the way evil thinks and moves is way different.
Indeed, viewed as a business enterprise, the Afghan war was a huge success. The MIC made trillions off American taxpayers.
Not in Afghanistan. It won’t work.
And where are these new sources? Please specify
I can’t see anywhere left for the US to plunder
They are finished and they know it
Let’s hope they won’t take us all to Armageddon now
Well they always (in their mind at least) have their #1 favorite target to plunder, the U.S. citizen.
Its called exponential financial inequality and its been tried and true for well over a 100 years.
they have already shot up 60% of their #1 target to plunder…the American people and Biden has a door to door scheme to shoot up the remainder.
those jabs are suicide jabs. in 3 years the American population is no more a viable economic factor note but a sick and dying one: they can be plundered no more!
I guess they will be replaced by machines. you don’t even have to pay machines a wage. they don’t eat! they do not need supermarkets! do not need even a bed in which to sleep. oh boy! value added like no other ever.
but machines kill all markets because they don’t need anything!! what is this….!!?
Just in front of your eyes;
Bioweapons, Behavioural Science, Post-humans, E-money, Surveillance State, New Reset, Military Space Command, ISIS in Africa, Technocracy, Robotization.
The New Reset is one big robbery and they will gonna need the military.
@ Alabama and Tomsen,
Yes, exactly. Thanks for that. Foreclosing on what’s left of the US seems to be the primary target now. Election steal 2020 in conjunction with Convid-19 announced loud and clear that the velvet gloves are finally off!
Well for a start, the moment the pullout from Afghanistan was announced…there was an ‘incident’ in Haiti…where they called on US help to sort it out…. classic textbook start of infiltration…
i still remember many years ago a cnn reporter in a cafe somewhere in Afghanistan chuffed at the “freedom” usa invasion brought. pointing to a guy drinking coca-cola and watching a small glitched tell lies with vision. amazing. for anyone learned those two items represent poison for the mind and body. but that was freedom. lets now see the world heroin shortage and cry for the poor junkies who are impacted.
i personally have been following any story on the rare earth treasures awaiting extraction. too difficult in a war zone. but there was a lot of talk of how huge the deposits were. maybe china can now cut a deal to be the honest partner for processing
More business for the opiod manufacturers. That or the CIA has other supplies lined up. The big guy will get his cut either way.
What a disgrace for the Americans! But then again most of us knew that they would leave with their tail between their legs one day. But even a pessimist as i am I never thought it would be in such a totally shameful way, literally running away in the middle of the night with the lights out and not even having the decency, to inform their so called “Afghan allies” they where bugging out.
I believe that this hasty U.S “withdrawal” from Afghanistan will most certainly create a great security challenge for the Central-Asian states in the coming months and years …
I see the opposite…the Stans will all quieten down…there are already signs that they are hardening their positions vis-a-vis US presence in their societies… and a strong understanding that Russia and China will be their full focus in future.
I remember Cyprus in 1974, the Thursday before the Turks began their assault on the Saturday. I was there at the time on Nicosia airport as part of a Royal Signals troop. All the members of the UN detatchment were there on Thursday, but the next morning not a single one of them could be found, all gone, families, everyone, all disappeared in the night.
In a video I saw how the Awesome Russians train for combat, also I saw how the Chinese trained for combat, in the meantime I see American soldiers speaking about their “mom” a male guy and father as a homosexual married to another man dressed as a woman.
Here in USA this the perfect home for them.
Imagine how will they behaved in time of war?
When you write ” the wannabe world hegemon had to leave in shame” may I ask why now?
I mean with trump leaving Afghanistan was simply out of the question.
What changed now? What can explain this 180° turn?
Books will be written about that subject, and entire tenures will be spent explaining it, but basically it is all about the sweamp wanting to demonize Trump. Orange man bad, he is weak if he walks away from a fight.
That this is the state of US leadership thinking reveals everything one needs to know to divine its future.
they lost this war long long time ago – today is only the day when this reality will become undeniable even in Zone A.
Biden desperately needs both money and he has to please those who hate imperial wars. As for the Pentagon, I really believe that it threw in the towel after the Iranians executed missile strikes on US bases in Iraq and the “Best Military In the History Of The Galaxy” had to take the pain and do absolutely nothing (other than lying about the true impact of the strikes).
I wrote it months ago – the Empire has ALREADY collapsed. Now it is the turn of the US of A.

Why do a moonlight flit? I am a bit surprised by that. Surely it is not in Biden’s interest to look so defeated.
I guess i am asking, without any evidence at all, but is their something else going on that needed a rapid exit? it could be serious weapons, it could be severe shortage of money, or maybe some really, really embarrassing reveal. Were they perhaps scared of a major attack if their withdrawal was publicised?
I guess you cannot rule out the possibility that they need the troops somewhere else? was there rebellion in the ranks? Had the heroin trade got out of control?
I am just curious.
I think the reason is much more prosaic – they didn’t wan’t any photo ops.
One possibility is that the decision has been taken to nuke Iran in a near future, after narrating that Iran is in the very final stage of manufacturing a nuclear weapon. So better to get out of the area before.
If US also pulls out of Irak and Syria in a near future, that would clearly be a red flag.
They need the troops for the Ukraine.
Haha nice joke
In the Ukraine their survival time would be a lot shorter
Probably they will need the soldiers in the US when the shit hits the fan over there.
There will be no war in Ukraine for the moment apart from the already going on in Donbass
They need the troops to go door-to-door in the U.S. forcing people at gunpoint to take the Covid-19 kill shot.
Deviating resources and manpower for their new war, another proxy, another rival to deter, etc. Same play book just don’t call it “War on Terror” anymore. Will have to call it something else. Maybe even bigger war, an endgame style war like WW II? However, if one observes history, one effect of the Soviet retreat in Afghanistan was its quick implosion and RIP moment. Will the same happen to the Hegemon? Even though the British empire did not implode immediatly after its Afghanistan incursion (which was part of its containment and war on Russia dating since Crimean War) it was not the same thereafter. If there is no implosion Soviet style , US will not be the same thereafter (British experience). From “zone B” it will be quite a show, while surviving the nuclear fallout that may accompany it. Saker must have more insights on this subject for sure.
It’s been a long slow bleed since the 1970’s, which I think will continue with no collapse. Prior to the 1970’s, it was possible to have an ordinary job and support a family. Now, two ordinary jobs can’t support a family, especially here in California.
“When you write ” the wannabe world hegemon had to leave in shame” may I ask why now?
I mean with trump leaving Afghanistan was simply out of the question.

Biden is trying to appease Iran. He has already lifted some sanctions. It is very likely he will return the US to its JCPOA obligations, especially after Iran’s announcement this week about producing enriched Uranium metal while denying IAEA inspectors access to footage of nuclear sites.
And Israel has thrown in the towel in regards to trying to influence the JCPOA restoration talks, and they cannot realistically strike Iranian nuclear installations now without the Dimona site being struck in retaliation.
Biden is handing Afghanistan over to Iran, and on a silver platter.
Biden is trying to appease Iran, in order to pull Iran closer to the West and distance it from Russia and China, according to some Iranian analysts. Handing over Afghanistan, an Iranian land with a Persian-speaking populace, which the British had taken from Persia, is simply a good will gesture, and a nod to Iranian regional ambitions.
It remains to be seen how far Biden will take this, and if he will hand over advanced US tech to Iran like Obama did with multiple drones.
Biden, like Obama, does not like Israel and KSA. And like Obama, he will do everything he can to prop up Iran and make sure the balance of power in the region does not lean in favor of Israel and KSA.
Nothing changed. The agreement with the Taliban for the US to leave Afghanistan (the “Doha Agreement”) was signed in Feb of 2020 (by the Trump administration) in the city of Doha . In the Doha Agreement, the US pledged to withdraw all US troops by May 1, 2021. Trump was out of office in Jan 2021, and Trumps successor, President “Whispering Joe” Biden, dragged his feet for a while, announcing just a few weeks ago that US withdrawal would be delayed until Sept. (11?) 2021. Events on the ground prompted a schedule advance, and here we are! Good times.
“Nothing changed. The agreement with the Taliban for the US to leave Afghanistan (the “Doha Agreement”) was signed in Feb of 2020 (by the Trump administration) in the city of Doha . In the Doha Agreement, the US pledged to withdraw all US troops by May 1, 2021.”
Are you trying to say that the US is capable of adhering to their agreements?
“President “Whispering Joe” Biden, dragged his feet for a while, announcing just a few weeks ago that US withdrawal would be delayed until Sept. (11?) 2021. Events on the ground prompted a schedule advance, and here we are!”
You first say that nothing changed, (ie. nothing changed as in the US was always planning on leaving, or they were never planning to leave?) and then you insinuate that something changed on the ground.
When the US said it would leave in May 2021, did they really intend to leave in May 2021? If so, why did they leave in July?
If they were never planning on leaving, and they missed their own deadline to leave, and they even announced that they were planning to extend their stay until September 2021 as you say, then clearly, something changed.
In response to “why now?,” I read this piece and wondered if it’s accurate. Did the Saker regulars see this take and what do you think about this?
A NEW WORLD ORDER TAKES SHAPE – PART II
Biden-Putin, a Yalta II rather than a new Berlin
by Thierry Meyssan
The United States, defeated in Syria, went to Geneva to accept the conditions of the winner, Russia. The summit of June 16, 2021 should put an end to hostilities on the condition that the Biden Administration holds its troops. Western Europeans will have to pay the bill. China is confirmed in its position as Russia’s partner.
VOLTAIRE NETWORK | PARIS (FRANCE) | 22 JUNE 2021
The Third World War, which pitted 119 states against each other in Syria, ended with the victory of Syria, Iran and Russia and the military defeat of the 116 Western states and allies. The time has come for the losers to acknowledge their crimes and pay back the damage and costs they have caused (at least 400,000 dead and $400 billion in damage in Syria, $100 billion in Russian armaments).
However, the West has not experienced this war on its own territory and has not suffered from the fighting, which they have mostly carried out through mercenaries (the “jihadists”). They have retained some of their power. The United States, along with the United Kingdom and France, remain at the head of a formidable atomic deterrent force.
From then on, the new world order must not only integrate the world’s leading economic power, China -which remained neutral during the war-, but must also spare the losers, not drive them to despair. This is all the more difficult as Western public opinion is not aware of their military defeat and persists in believing themselves to be the victors.
This is why Russia has chosen to collect war damages without presenting them as such; not to strangle NATO militarily; and not to publicize its decisions. In terms of form, the Russia-US summit is therefore more like a Yalta II (division of the world between allies) than a new Berlin (capitulation of the Third Reich).
It is worth noting that the United States was not held accountable for the destruction of Libya because, at the time, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev had supported it.
An opaque summit
Russia did not want to give the impression that it was crushing the West. Even before the meeting, the media had been warned that the heads of state would not hold a joint press conference, as no narrative would be acceptable to both publics at the same time. Not since at least 2014 (when Russia entered the war) has an intergovernmental summit been so poorly covered. When the presidents spoke separately, the security services had to intervene to control the crowd. In the end, things went according to plan: the journalists did not understand much and only had unimportant details to report. The US public believes that Russia tried to manipulate the last two presidential elections in favor of Donald Trump; that it attacked official US websites; that it poisoned some of its opponents; and that it is threatening Ukraine militarily.
Russia has denied all these childish illusions, and then praised the great US president, Joe Biden, for his experience, the quality of his exchanges, and even – without laughing – for the lucidity of this visibly senile man.
Decisions made by Moscow beforehand
– On the military level, the important thing was to ensure that the United States would no longer modernize its atomic arsenal and would not be able to design hypersonic launchers.
President Biden announced at the opening of the summit that the United States would reopen arms reduction negotiations, which it had unilaterally halted during World War III. We do not know what steps have been taken to prevent the construction of Western hypersonic missiles, but given Russia’s lead in launchers, Moscow and Washington can drastically reduce their nuclear missile inventories without altering Russian dominance. US disarmament would be in the interests of peace.
President Biden has acknowledged that his country should repeal the Authorization for Use of Military Force of 2001, the Rumsfeld/Cebrowski doctrine of endless war.
– Economically, Russia has demanded to secure its revenues. The United States therefore agreed, on May 19, that the European Union’s industry would no longer run on Western oil, but on Russian gas. Washington announced that it was lifting the sanctions it had imposed on the companies involved in the construction of the North Stream 2 pipeline. It goes without saying that the price of this gas will not correspond to the market value of this product, but to the payment of the war debt. Nevertheless, it will always be possible for Western Europeans to escape this overpricing.
Eventually, Germany and France could be exempted from paying these damages, as former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and former Prime Minister François Fillon have always been opposed to this war. Specifically, the socialist Gerhard Schröder is a director of the Russian state-owned gas company Rosneft, while the Gaullist François Fillon should be appointed director of the Russian state-owned oil company Zarubezhneft. Germany and France would still have to cease hostilities, while the former still has soldiers in Idleb and the latter in Jalabiyeh, and the main actors of this carnage would have to be struck down with indignity, such as Volker Perthes or François Hollande.
– On the diplomatic front, Moscow and Washington announced the restoration of their relations and the return of their ambassadors. It remained to define the zones of influence.
First and foremost, President Putin set out lines for the United States not to cross: (1) a ban on Ukraine joining Nato or stationing nuclear launchers there (2) a ban on meddling in Belarus (3) a ban on intervening in Russian domestic politics.
It was agreed that the Middle East would be under joint Russian-US influence, with the exception of Syria, which is directly under Moscow’s wing; that the Sunnis would be divided into two groups in order to prevent the resurgence of the Ottoman Empire; that Syria (and not Iran) would take the leadership of an area including Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and Azerbaijan (again to prevent an Ottoman resurgence); and finally, that Israel would abandon Vladimir Jabotinsky’s expansionist project. In any case, Washington had already informed all the states in the broader Middle East on June 2 that it would withdraw its anti-missile systems (Patriot and Thaad).
Moscow anticipates that these agreements will encounter obstacles put in place by some US officials, not directly, but through the use of third-party actors.
China’s place
As regards the Far East, Russia has firmly rejected proposals for an alliance with the West against China. It considers, in the light of history, that China will not lay claim to Eastern Siberia as long as it keeps the West out of harm’s way. That is why President Putin reaffirmed just before the summit that he did not consider Beijing a threat.
Moreover, from a Russian point of view, China’s economic development could not be more normal. It violates the rules of Western globalization, but is based on a legitimate nationalist doctrine. The final communiqué of the G7, which condemns China and claims to set the standards for world trade, is a delusion of old glories. In any case, Beijing, having preferred to develop economically rather than pay blood money during the war, cannot demand privileges. Moscow is in favour of a “handover” of Taiwan to China, but without resorting to military confrontation.
Moscow intends to join Russia’s political and China’s economic efforts through the Greater Eurasian Partnership, especially for the joint development of Eastern Russian Siberia. That is why it is building the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Magistrale connecting Lake Baikal to the Amur River, the Primorye-1 and Primorye-2 transport corridors, the Northern Silk Road, the Europe-Eastern China Expressway, the North-South Highway and the Russia-Mongolia economic corridor. To this connection of the Russian space to the Chinese Silk Roads should be added more than $700 billion of joint projects in both countries.
US expectations
Regarding the U.S. proposals on cybersecurity, the issue cannot be dealt with bilaterally. Moscow knows better than anyone else that it did not sponsor attacks on the US presidential elections or on the websites of US public agencies.
Computer attacks are carried out by private hackers, sometimes acting as privateers on behalf of states. The NKTsKI – Russian National Center on Computer Incidents (a department of the FSB created three years ago) – estimates that, contrary to what the Western media claim, a quarter of the computer attacks come from the United States.
Russia has obtained the creation by the UN General Assembly, on December 31, 2020 (A/RES/75/240), of an “open-ended working group (OWEG) on digital security and its use (2021-2025)”. This group, and only this group, will be responsible. For Moscow, this is a way to give back to the United Nations the role of a democratic world forum, which it had been deprived of during the Third World War, which had turned it into a transmission channel for Washington’s hawks.

“Not all the armies that invaded Afghanistan were defeated. Around 180 years ago an Indian ruler Ranjit Singh (1799-1839) and his brilliant commander Hari Singh Nalwa defeated the Afghans and the tribes of the Khyber Pass area, in the process securing India’s northwest border. Had it not been for Ranjit Singh, Peshawar and the northwest frontier provinces of India (now in Pakistan) would have been part of Afghanistan today.”

Nader Shah Afshar tore through Afghanistan all the way to India circa 1740.
The myth of the invincibility of Afghanistan is just a way for those who have been defeated there to save face.
The Taliban just tore through Afghanistan like a hot knife in butter. The Taliban did in a few weeks, what the US couldn’t do in 20 years.
You must really hate the sardarjis because they won’t have anything to do with the Varna system. India has a choice of either containing its communal strife or giving up hope of being a prosperous modern nation. India has oscillated between the poles of modernity and extreme Hindu nationalism for longer than I’ve been alive. Even Modi himself can not permanently kick the bucket over, but who knows what will come after him ?

Yes, we at “Zone B” know this while “Zone A” can’t see the writting on the wall. However, Saker, is the anti imperial (for lack of a better term) faction that strong in the power structure? If they were they could have prevented Biden and the elección fraud but rather went along with it. So many angles to tske into consideración.
D. Trump and J. Biden are two sides of the same coin. And it is not the obligation of “zone B” to solve the problems of “zone A”. The Americans themselves must solve it if they want a decent future.
While it feels tempting to bash NATO and USA forces for their ill fated intervention in Afghanistan, their departure, as inglorious as it may be, is bad omen for Russia. I am surprised none on this forum has seen it. Fortunately, Putin did and promptly called yesterday the Tadjik president Emomali Rahmon to re-assure him of Russia’s support if need be.
Either way I look at it it , there will be taught times ahead for Russia trying to shore up the security of the Tadjik border. While Tajikistan seculars may count themselves lucky to have Russia reinforced 201 Division on its territory, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan ( the latter of which share a wide open border with Afghanistan will have a lot to fear in the coming months and years. These two countries are not even part of the collective defense agreement with Russia, so if the jihadist run them over later this year or in the near future, they do not even have the diplomatic mechanism in place to ask Russia for help.
The current Uzbek president Shavkat Mirziyoyev is lot friendlier to Russia than his predecessor was, so that may help his regime get some help when the jihadis will knock on Tashkent’s gates.
I predicate before US labor day (07 September) the Taliban will have reclaimed by force or false promise 100% of the Afghan territory and then will refocus their attention to their Muslim brothers to the north.
I think Putin and Russia military leadership already has some sleepless nights. It is no secret for them that neither of the autocratic presidents in the republics bordering Afghanistan is particularly popular with the rank and file citizen.
If determined to expand its influence, I think is fair to assume that the fanatics can bank on the support of significant part of the disaffected youth and rural people in all three countries. Moreover, all of these republics radical Muslims can count on the support and expertise of the terrorist that have spent years in Syrian and may be incentivized to come back to overturn the secular and utterly corrupt regimes in their home countries.
That they will be helped logistically, financially and otherwise by countries such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia or Qatar, goes without saying. Heck, the Amis may ally themselves with Taliban just to wreck havoc on the central Asian republics. Anything that bleeds Russia works for them.
I am willing to bet that helped by 3rd party actors with regional goal and geopolitical ambitions ( let us not forget Turkey) the mujahidins are like to try to foster the same radical movement north of the border.
To me, in spite of the smallest border with Afghanistan, Uzbekistan seem the weaker link that may tempt the jihadist. Poor country, large young disaffected population ( has the larger contingent of terrorist in Syria) unpopular president, corrupt, much of the south has terrain that is not different than Afghanistan’s own rugged terrain. All the ingredients for an easy target.
Tajikistan has the Russians there, so they may pass on it for the beginning , and Turkmens (while having themselves an utterly corrupt dictator to deal with, have at least a pretty comfortable life style due to large oil/gas reserves and small population and may not be so open to the idea of living in caves and desert while fighting for Allah.
It would be interesting to see whether China will tolerate a Taliban take over and possible attempt to expand influence among Uyghurs.
I could not care less for American defeat in Afghanistan however, Russia prospects in central Asia worry me a lot. I wish I was wrong but there are too may dots connecting to be ignored.
I thought I read a warning about this a day ago.
I thought it was Saker, but it might have been Moon of Alabama
Do the Taliban want to control all of Afghanistan? Do they want to control areas full of Uzbek and Tadjiks, Iranians, etc…?
Do they want to attack and control territory beyond their borders? Besides the northwest frontier in India and waziristan in Pakistan.
My question as well. Have the Taliban ever shown an inclination to expand their territory. I thought not.
Do you think that you possess more foresight than the Russian national security leadership? Do you not think that they too saw the writing on the wall re the impending withdrawal of the US military from Afghanistan? That the Russians didn’t game out all the various scenarios?
I’m sure the Russian leadership has been seriously concerned about these eventualities for many years and have taken steps. The Russians, after all, have been talking to the Taliban leadership for quite some time already.
Personally, I believe the Taliban (and the Afghan nation) have endured 40+ years of non-stop strife and many of them are going to look first at consolidating their power and entrenching their position and will not be seeking any kind of adventurism abroad.
@Malthus
I was wondering what damage control PRbs will follow. This sounds just like mandatory cover story for otherwise utterly humiliating retreat.
Narative has nymber of obvious logical points, but then again flat earth theory has it too.
Reality is no one knows what comes next. Afgans are sick and tired of war and ocupation and need a break. They played defense briliantly. To switch to attack mode instantly is not in their nature.
Its Anglos thing, which reveal where theories of Afgan concuring the world originates.
What could happen are multiple rebbelions all over the place inspired with Afgan triumph of will. In that case, US staying in Afganistan an any cost would be much cheaper (less expensive) solution.
Turkey is formally assuring the capital’s airport operation (but I’m not sure as regards security, not safety).
And it is transfering jihadists (the ones he keeps rotating in all usrael’s wars, Syria, Ukraine, Lybia, Armenia) to Afghanistan, according to the Voltaire Network.
So maybe wanabe Khaliffa Erdogan (who wants to be crowned as head of planetary [or maybe, milky-way’s] sunnism in 2023, 100 years after Ataturkism) is already taking steps to get support and influence in all those ill-governed muslim -and to a great extent, turcophone too- nations??
It may also be an opportunity for Russia to increase the partnership with Central Asian countries and to forge new partnerships with the ones that they currently don’t have close ties with.
It’s entirely possible that Russia will have to take down Erdogan and take control of ConstAntinople, in addition to checking the Muslim advance in Central Asia.
Google translation,MOD:
I’m Brazilian and I believe that you Saker are aware of the events here in Brazil. I’ve been thinking about the possibility of PR Bolsonazi being able to strike a coup by being defeated in next year’s elections and having US support, despite being treated as a pariah in the world so far I haven’t seen the US government renege on such support. element. I see from the evaluations that at the moment the most important thing is, for the US, the countries are strongly opposed to China and Russia, which this president is doing, including participating in this naval exercise and that the likely winner of the next election if they do not prevent it will be the former president Lula, but I remember that it was in the PT government that the BRICS really came into existence, including the creation of a bank, and there was some support for the Latin American countries and for Venezuela and Cuba, so I ask if the US would support a coup d’état not to allow the return of the PT to power and simultaneously a greater integration of the BRICS?

How come a US Afghani collaborator is worth $50,000 -$100,000 (what suitors will receive if they house & feed them in safety ) but the Brits/MI6 were only paying Yemeni collaborators $300 a month?
The Brits are always cheapskates.

Oh No! No! No! This could result in a terrible loss for the common folk… the people of Syria and Iraq.
The USA is in this situation because its ideological (ideologically captured) and corrupt elite have believed their own tale, persistently disseminated since at least the end of World War II, mainly through the Center for Entertaining Disinformation (Hollywood and others) , about their invincibility and exceptionality and, of course, about the mediocre, bad, humanoid, etc., which are the others, especially the Russians. Not living reality made them lower their guard and lose perspective (in fact, they still cannot understand why Trump won the previous election, a man who lives reality daily as a businessman). The ideologized, or “palace cats”, thought that the other nations would remain quiet and calm waiting to be passed over them, and they bet on bullying and looting, and not competition for better development
The fact that they have to resort to contractors (mercenaries) for their objectives indicates that they have lost their spirit as a Nation. The prevailing greed and corruption, sheltered by this ideological blindness, has caused the supposedly rival powers to vastly outnumber them in military technique, and for a fraction of the budget that North American taxpayers bear (as they say vulgarly: the contractors of the arms industry they have been “sticking their finger in the eye” of the American people for a long time).
The most surprising thing is that the country’s military and security institutions, which should be neutral, subordinate, not deliberative in the face of political power and at the service of the country’s superior interests, have taken sides. And that means, among other things, that they are acting ideologically and not based on reality, that is, they are acting with a blindfold, which, with the power they have, makes them too dangerous, even for themselves. .
I do not wish the American people ill, but that they see the light and can integrate as a great nation in a multipolar world so that they can truly develop towards the future. For this they must eliminate the slag and accumulated ideological ballast …
fantastic new thread Saker thanks alot
When the Soviets left Afghanistan, they left a stable government in control and a military that could defend its people and its government. It lasted three years and only fell when the Soviet Union itself fell and Yeltsin turned off all the taps of aid and support from Russia. The current government in Afghanistan might, if it’s lucky, last until the September 11 deadline for withdrawal of all USAmerican troops. But I doubt it. The USAmerican Neo-Cons are not, and have never been, the slightest bit interested in stable and honest governance or nation building for the people in Afghanistan. What they are interested in is Being There (forever), as in the film starring Peter Sellers. In other words, it’s just business and power-positioning so that the usual suspects at the top can cream off the trillions that US taxpayers have sunk into the ponzi scheme that is Afghanistan. And of course the CIA gets its drug money. And a few slavering US think-tanks get to think that they are poking the bear and the dragon in their supposedly weak underbellies. It’s the money, always.
I donno. I beg to differ. The Americans leaving att night that is very smart tactical move, you know. Why? Because no one can see the tail between your legs at night, that is why! This is Matthew 24.43 adapted to the Himalayan chain mountains and AK-47s. So I say, well thought out flight plan, USA😜!

This ‘Short news update’ column is a great idea Saker.
As Pepe Escobar aptly put it with one of his memorable metaphors, we are ‘spectators under the volcano’. The volcano is rumbling — more frequently and with increasing amplitude — and posts such as this one allow us to discuss events that are seemingly disparate but I think ultimately mostly related to each other.
The us ‘campaign’ in Afghanistan was largely a success: the costs for the many (us taxpayers), the profits for the few.
Capitalism at its ‘finest’, or would that be corporate ‘socialism’? 911 was just the excuse.
Who at this point needs an “excuse”, we need justice, a light at the end of the long tunnel, otherwise the place goes dark in a heartbeat.
Love the short update. Thank you so much.
Truth over falsehood, the pictures evoke a thousand words…
Can not say more…it will take a while to figure out Afghanistan (hint it is not geo-political- even though that is the fun stuff to read / talk abt- the truth (reality) is much harder to digest (it will happen someday when everyone learns the truth about everything-) (a 1st grader would figure it out—it is obvious –nothing fancy here- just basics)
Good insight, MrSaker
There was one line in Pepe’s article where he said it ( maybe 3-4 words)
… I am 99. O% sure that was the reason “we was there” (God knows best)
(No one will ever state it as the reason- u will not find it on the internet or in any book- but it jives w history go’n way way way back until today- history’s repetition- logical but unspoken n unwritten)
But essentially too evil to say out loud or even write
“PS: please feel free to also contribute short news items in the “short news update” section!”
Here’s Lavrov’s criticism of Russian fifth columnists:

Liberals urged Russia to tolerate insult with British destroyer, says Lavrov
https://tass.com/politics/1311839
“Some liberal critics of the authorities said, ‘why did you have to chase it away, well, what would have happened if it had passed through Crimea? Our relations have hit rock bottom, and you are burying them even deeper’. That is, swallow the direct insult, and spit on the will of the Crimean people, who have chosen first independence, then reunification with their historical homeland,” he noted.

Aljazeera is extensively reporting on the killing of Haiti’s President Jovenel Moise. Apparently, professional foreign assasins dressed as U.S. DEA agents did the “job”. I know little of Moise, but apparently he was a Hatian Nationalist described as a “conservative-liberal” (whatever that means) who was for free education, universal health care, environment, agricultural reform, and other “for the people” type things. Reminds me of the coup on Aristide back in 2004. May be interesting to look into this a little closer.
There is a commentator under this Zhedge article who somewhat made a good argument that he was taken out for not allowing the jab, Haiti is the only country in the western hemisphere that will not allow it. His argument follows 4 leaders in Africa who refused the jab for their country and ended up dead as well. But there is also the Clinton angle of theft of millions of relief funds for Haiti as well as child trafficing that the Clintons were involved in that Moise was going to blow the lid off of.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/haitian-president-jovenel-moise-assassinated-unknown-attackers
Durlin we’re trying to become more accurate with anything jab and so on, if it even slips through the moderation.
Now, Haiti did never say they will not allow vaxx of any kind. It is just that they have been without a parliament since early 2020 and they were and are still waiting for vaxx to appear. So, this information is wrong. Each time you copy a comment from Zerohedge, you may be sure that the chances are that it is wrong.
Secondly Haiti has been in social turmoil for months now. Sometimes an assassination is just an assassination, and not a covid/or vaxx driver.
We need to get more savvy with these things as a posting environment as a whole.
From what I heard every leader and ex-leader there get things done with para military force, due to absence of govt and parliment and decree. He was trying to modify the constitution to allow him indefinite rule and that was final straw from the other ex-leaders. He had to go.
Many times “Democracy” is the way for scoundrels to get in on a government’s action. Over the years, I personnally have become very cynical when a popular leader, especially a socialist or nationalist one, is overthrown in the name of democracy. Many times a popular leader has to assume a dictitorial stance for the purposes of keeping scoundrels out of the government. A good example is what happened in Libya. Another recent example is the Ukraine.
“Did you know that since the US invasion of Afghanistan the volume of heroin produced by this country increased FIFTEEN FOLD!”
The U.S. press will only report such news about countries that are hostile to America.
I know that one empire marine landing ship, its APCs and crew can be turned into shrapnel, molten slag and part-ash part-gristle human remains with just one Russian missile, but the sheer audacity of the DC beltway party of war against their own *fungus* president tells you how close the empire is to terminal implosion.

What should have been done in Afghanistan was obvious from the start. Either get the Taliban to turn over bin Laden and Al Quaeda, or do what was done, destroy them by bombing, special forces and the alliance with the ‘Northern Alliance’. Then …. LEAVE! This idea of turning Afghanistan into a Western Democracy was absurd from the beginning. In order to make the US safe from another attack (assuming you believe the narrative) ?? We could easily have extracted a promise from the Taliban to not allow a third party to launch an attack on the US, or any other country for that matter. They had no interest in that. They want to rule Afghanistan. Period. Mocking the US for its failure is mistaken. It was the goal that was idiotic. No country could have made that work. Particularly a country on the other side of the World. There was no US interest in trying to do it. Of course there was plenty of interest by Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, US Generals, etc. I don’t know how much play it got but the movie ‘War Machine’ with Brad Pitt and Michael Hall was both hilarious and dead on the money regarding the stupidity of the Afghan ‘war’.
My understanding is that the Taliban had said they would turn over Bin Laden and alquada to the US if they produced evidence. As always, they did not or could not provide evidence. That’s because, in my opinion, eVidence that might have been produced would have incriminated the US govt and Israel rather than Bin Laden.
The Taliban are now shooting Afghan collaborators in the streets
What’s their definition of a collaborator? (can’t trust U.S. websites to be honest about it, always in info war mode)
It would be a pity to shoot police officers, civil servants, and uniformed soldiers just because they were on the other side of the fight and got help from the U.S.
Apologies for deviating from the theme of this post, but what happened in Haiti is very significant. As mentioned in this video, Jean-Bertrand Aristide preceded Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales. Revolution in Haiti is a worst nightmare situation for the ruling elite in Zone A. Ever since the Haitians threw out the french, popular revolt in Haiti has been quashed at all cost. Though blame for the assassination wasn’t specifically assigned in the video, the ramifications are enormous. Clintons will be scrambling…
https://www.mintpressnews.com/whats-behind-the-assassination-of-haitian-president-jovenel-moises/277864/
OTOH (still OT) Moise is the third dead president who did not want vaxxes for his country (if one is allowed to write that here).
The bureaucrats in the Pentagon have been lying to themselves about Afghanistan for years. Anyone realistic is shunted aside and not listened to. The Taliban said early this year they would go on the offensive if the US did not adhere to the May pullout. Team Biden and Gen. Milley made no plans if the Taliban did what they said they would do. Much more important to introduce Critical Race Theory and make sure all the troops are fully sensitive to their LGTBQ fellow soldiers and sailors
Some dot-joining and gap-filling juice from various twitter and social media posts from “the stan” for those who can see where this is going:
1) Some of the weapons and trucks “left behind” by the CIA / US Army have been found to be tagged (tiny passive electronic devices). No doubt the expectation was that some of the best kit would be taken by Taliban commanders / gifted as trophies and taken to bunkers or personal housing thereby allowing them to be tracked or targeted by drone at a later date.
There has been no indication who swept the kit and with what, nor who tipped the taliban off to “tagged treasure and trinkets”, although China and Iran are mentioned often.
2) Chinese “business men and traders” have been seen openly in some Taliban held areas – and the Chinese military have been seen moving close to the Afghanistan / China border. It has been suggested that the Taliban will “protect” an overland trade corridor between China and Iran in the same way the Afghan Army “protected” the CIA opium rat runs and overland trafficing corridors, however it is still early days and the Taliban do not yet have full control of the best routes.
3) US and UK forces were apparently warned that the Taliban have aquired new weapons in the form of small suicide drones and some anti-tank guided missiles (and perhaps even a few manpads). Apparently some of the Afghan Army were reporting allied movements and had video equipment (for making a propaganda video of US forces running from Taliban), hence the rapid withdrawl under cover of darkness to avoid potential allied losses or an embarrassing retreat whilst under Taliban fire. It has been suggested the equipment has come accross the Iranian border, but is not Iranian by manufacture (as per the Yemen and Iraq model).
4) The CIA and MI6 plans to stay on (with Mercenary / contractor protection) have been severely hampered following warnings that bounties are on the heads of every spook captured or killed (likely from sources friendly to Iran, but nothing confirmed, nor how such bounties can be collected). local Afghan have also been warned that any found to have assisted the British or Americans in any way will be punished. Many Afghans who have worked with the occupiers have fled accross the borders to Tajikistan and Pakistan to avoid punnishment by the Taliban.
5) Iran is beginning to normalise its relationship with Afghanistan – conducting mediation and trade meetings with both the “official” and “unofficial” Afghan governments and tribal leaders who have cross border influence (Pakistan borderlands in particular).
6) CIA opium infrastructure is being destroyed as and when found and farmrs told not to replant the poppy.
Thats the sum of it @ 08 July.
The above stated News Update by the Saker was mainly about Afghanistan, which in ancient times was a part of India, this was why the article by Rakesh Krishnan Simha was relevant.
If people really wish to delve in proto history please read The Mahabharata wherein Karna berates Raja Shalya, his charioteer, about his state and its people which would now fall in the Punjab.
During the present globalized world only that which benefits the general populace is of importance. IMO we ought to seek wisdom and forgiveness from the past in order to have a better future.
“..Afghanistan, which in ancient times was a part of India..”
When exactly was Afghanistan part of India?
The Gandhara in the Mahabharata is not Kandahar in Afghanistan.
Do you know what Hindu Kush means? Hindu Kush is a Persian word which means Hindu Killer. The mountains were called that because the Hindus kept dying trying to get through.
The Hindus have been a lowland civilization for the most part, while the Iranians have been a highland civilization. Iranians have conquered India multiple times, but Indians never really made it across the Hindu Kush, to my knowledge.
Do you know what the suffix -stan means? “-stan” is short for “ostan” which is the Persian word for ‘province’. Afghanistan means province of the Afghans. All the “-stans” were Iranian provinces at one point.
you stated –
“The Gandhara in the Mahabharata is not Kandahar in Afghanistan.”
and asked –
“When exactly was Afghanistan part of India?”
Well from proto-history we know that Gandharī is a character in the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. In the epic, she was the daughter of Subala, the king of Gandhara, a region spanning northwestern Pakistan and eastern Afghanistan, from which her name is derived. Gandhari’s marriage was arranged to Dhritarashtra, the eldest prince of the Kuru kingdom.
Takshashila University is the most famous and the world’s first university. Takshashila University was established 2700 years ago in Taxila. Takshasila is also known as Taxila or Takshila. Between 600BC and 500AD, Taxila was in the kingdom of Gandhar, in Ancient India before partition, but now Takshashila is in Rawalpindi district of the Punjab Pakistan after partition.
The Bamiyan Buddhas are said to date back to the 5th century AD and were once the tallest standing Buddhas in the world. In March 2001, the Taliban began blowing up two monumental Buddha statues in Afghanistan’s Bamiyan Valley.
Bamiyan is situated in the high mountains of the Hindu Kush in the central highlands of Afghanistan. The valley, which is set along the line of the Bamiyan River, was once integral to the early days of the Silk Roads, providing passage for not just merchants, but also culture, religion and language.
This is going off-topic. Please take to the MFC – any further will go to trash. Mod.
Do you know what Hindu Kush means? Hindu Kush is a Persian word which means Hindu Killer. The mountains were called that because the Hindus kept dying trying to get through.
Sudhi sounds like an Indian Hindu supremacist peddling his delusions of what is called Akhand Bharat–an Indian Empire that rules over the lands from Afghanistan to SE Asia.
Akhand Bharat is essentially an Indian variation of the Nazi Lebensraum ideology, with a Hindutva colonialist soul.
Similar to its Zionist and American allies, which are based on similar colonialist ambitions, India’s bloody colonial occupation of Kashmir is the actual fate that awaits all these lands and peoples that the Indians covet as part of their Akhand Bharat dogma.

https://populismobserver.com/2020/11/23/interview-48-hindutva-from-interwar-fascism-to-narendra-modi/
As I see it, there are three great threats to me personally: First, there is the death by nuclear war threat, which I feel I understand. That is, the US wants to rule the world. There are some nations out there objecting to that plan. Second, there is the “Great Reset” threat, an economic threat. Apparently, the Billionaires want to rule the world. Only the common man, such as me, seems to object to that plan. I haven’t heard any objection from Russia on that. I’m not even sure if they know about it. Third, there is the threat from “that which we can not name”, in which the “survivors” want to rule the world.
I can see the connection between the “Great Reset” people and the “1.9 billion survivors” people. They are one and the same. They want to rule a green sustainable earth with no one left to object, only to serve. But, I don’t see the connection between them and the ones who want to conquer the world militarily. They seem to be two different crime families, one trying to achieve their goal through brute force, and the other seeking the same goal, but through stealth and secrecy.
Its really funny. The sheeple believe this time US will pull out from Afghanistan. How many times have you jumped on that hoax? 7 times, 12 times?

Why does this post say updated 2x but there doesn’t appear to be any added text from the original article?
These last two bullet points are the last two updates, added after the photos in the original article:
There are several reports, so far unconfirmed, that US bases in Iraq and Syria have come under attack. There has also been a huge explosion in the port of Dubai.
UK Foreign Minister Raab just repeated in the British Parliament that the British Navy fully intends to repeat the actions of the HMS Defender.
Re port of Dubai explaosion I have seen 4 different claimed explanations, including 1 saying it was a US special Forces support vessel operating off Yemen.
# of those were in Zero Hedge comments, normal caveats apply. Sorry, I am not going to waste time looking for links tonite.
https://newsmedia.tasnimnews.com/Tasnim/Uploaded/Image/1400/04/17/1400041700414088523164903.jpg — The explosion and subsequent massive fire at the Dubai port seems to have been an oil tanker. Whatever it was, it happened in the south of Dubai near oil storage facilities.
The explosion comes one day after the Saudis and the Emiratis had a disagreement over oil production quantity and timetables.
The Taliban, created/supported by Pakistan who, in turn, are financed by Saudis who are staunch US allies, defeated the US.
There must be something more to this than what we are being told.
The Taliban were in Tehran the day after the US left Afghanistan. They did not go to Pakistan or KSA.
The Taliban have been receiving support from the IRGC, just like every other group fighting US occupation in the region.
Yesterday in Tehran, the Taliban and the Afghan government reached an agreement whereby both parties condemned violence against Afghan civilians and civil infrastructure.
From today, one can rest assured, any attack against Afghan civil infrastructure and civilians is the work of the Zionist-US-Saudi Axis.
The Taliban, aka the Islamic Emirate, wants peace and stability in Afghanistan. They want an Islamic Republic, not a secular Western-style abomination running Afghanistan.
Regardless of what the western media says, many in Afghanistan support the Taliban.

The US departure from Afghanistan is tantamount to handing the country over to the IRGC.
In the meanwhile, we are all living in a Nazi Germany, established by all governments all over the planet, nicely working together. We have been subjected to lockdowns and dehumanization. Being traced whenever and wherever we move. With the mandatory masks, we are not allowed even to look as humans. Subjected to never seen before censorship. Subjected to various experiments. Sprayed and injected with toxic, magnetic and bioluminescent graphene oxide, which is also present in our masks and on PCR swabs and which is, also, the main component of the „Covid vaccines“. When subjected to external 5G-frequencies, graphene oxide causes a condition called COVID-19… We are living deads. Just wondering, if I should be worried about WW3 or something else?!
The Jerusalem Post reports:
“On 27 June 2021, Jordan’s King Abdullah II met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Baghdad. All three announced an agreement to cooperate on transporting Iraqi oil through pipelines from Iraq to Jordan to Egypt, from where it will be exported to Europe through the Mediterranean. This agreement is King Abdullah’s “coming out of the closest” with Iran. It is now official: Jordan is allied with Iran because Iraq is actually under Iran’s control. The Iraqi government is a puppet state controlled by Iran. Exporting Iraqi oil through Jordan to Europe is simply exporting oil controlled by Iran, which rules Iraq through its Shi’ite militias and controls the country’s resources.”
“One day after this happened, Jordanian state media began promoting full financial cooperation with Iran.”

It seems to me that the Iranian side will have total control of the region very soon, at this rate.
It is clear who the winning side is in the Middle East.
1. Since the attack on Ain Al Assad base after the assassination of General Soleimani, Iran has been attacking US bases in the region non-stop. The US response has been to lift some sanctions and sit down at the negotiating table with Iran, figuratively speaking, as the Iranians refuses to sit at the same table as Americans.
2. Hamas and Islamic Jihad turned the Zionist state into Swiss cheese last May. They are both still standing, ready for the next war.
3. The Saudis are getting their asses handed to them by the Yemenis. Just yesterday another successful operation was carried out against KSA by the Yemenis.
4. The US was absolutely humiliated in Afghanistan, by the IRGC-backed Taliban, and they were forced to leave, just as they are being forced to leave Iraq now.
Iran is the only country in the world that is beating the crap out of the US and its allies on a daily basis. And Iranian-backed forces are winning the military confrontations with the US and its allies on every front.
The US-Iran war, is reminiscent of a wrestling match between a 57kg guy, and a 125kg guy. But the 125kg guy said he wouldn’t fight until the other guy was starved first.
So, the 125kg guy had his friend, let’s call him Saddam Hussein, another heavy weight, beat up the starving 57kg guy for a while, eight years, and then they continued to starve him some more.
When the time came for the two to finally wrestle, the 57kg guy actually raped the 125kg guy bloody. You can fit an airplane in the 125kg guy’s anus now.
Meanwhile, Yemen, a five year old starving girl, weighing no more than 15kg, is beating up a coalition of fat Arab Sheikhs who want to take her to their harem and have their way with her.
But that’s not all. Theb there’s Hamas, a premature baby, weighing 500g, with its hands and feet tied, and its eyes blindfolded, beating up another 125kg guy who just happens to be a well-known baby-murderer.
You can’t make this stuff up.
I don’t think the Iranian side can scrounge up anyone weaker for the US side to beat up. Perhaps my grandmother?
dominic Arab, although a vociferous Russophobe, advised Johnson against sending the r n destroyer into Russian waters. He now seems to be firmly on board …………not ‘actually’ on board you understand. They’re happy to put their sailors in mortal danger, but, good grief old boy, not us.
After the invasion of the British warship HMS Defender in Russian territorial waters, the Russian military Command took crucial decisions.
“Russian experts have been working on a ‘algorithm’ of NATO actions and operations in the event that a warship decides to provoke Russia by violating its territorial waters,” said Russian political scientist Sergei Stankevich.
“In the event that the British repeat such a provocative action, the ship will be seized and taken to port. Their documents will be checked and if there is no resistance on their part, then they will be released within 48 hours.
Take, for example, what the Iranians did five years ago when they captured two American ships with American Marines. “They escorted the Americans to the port and later released them,” he said.
The Atlanticists want to shit down Nordstream so badly that I wouldn’t put it past Raab to sacrifice a ship just to get Russia to fire on them.
Since NATO claims to be entering waters off Crimea which they “recognize” as being a part of Ukraine, why doesn’t the Kiev government simply ask NATO to land a army brigade or two in Crimea itself? Aside from kicking off a significant war, it would be 100% legal. That’s ‘NATO-legal’, at least.

I’d like to see an in depth analysis of one question. What does the US withdrawal from Afghanistan really mean? Why now?
Are those forces being redeployed to fight in another theater? Or will they be redeployed at home to fight the American people?
Check out the timelines of recent events in Haiti….there will be a ‘redeployment’ of US forces to ‘help stabilize Haiti’
It’s time to go to China and Russia… In Greece, the city of Alexandroupoli, (near the Balkan) is now a NATO base….
But the question is: When and where the US has won in the last 50 years??? Nowhere!
Russia relationship better than an alliance, Chinese foreign minister says
Published: 5:59pm, 12 Jul, 2021
Wang Yi said China and Russia had “built strong strategic support for mutual security and development” and would “always be each other’s strong backers”.
He said the two countries should “further deepen political mutual trust” and “push the comprehensive strategic partnership in a new era, which is not allies but better than allies, to new heights”, according to a transcript published by the Chinese foreign ministry.
“We must further strengthen strategic collaboration and firmly build a strong pillar for maintaining world peace and security,” Wang said. “We will hold high the banner of multilateralism, oppose hegemony and power politics, counter the new cold war and group conflicts.”

The two images that stick in my mind is a clip produced during the Afgan Marxist regime showing boys and girls together in a class room wearing Soviet style school uniforms. Next image is of the Taliban holding an AK to a woman’s head in Kabul’s soccer stadium to execute her. Wrong side won.
you should talk about Haiti and Cuba and what the USA/western europe deep state are doing there. Coupled with russia response…which has been critical. I see russia deploying more or some cuba in the near future. though, the game continues in this region of the world, one cannot deny that the west is using co-vid to restructure world the way they want. somewhere the game will blow up. and then the west is in real trouble. much deserved trouble.
lastly, the policies of the usa remain the same as under trump and before…
