First, I want to express how touched I am by the initiative taken by the Saker community to help my family in these difficult times. Words cannot express how touched I am by this initiative and while I cannot thank each person involved individually (especially since I don’t know who they are!) I will thank you all here.
Second, we are still busy gutting the house which will take many months to repair. Looks like we will be living out of a suitcase for a few months. Since I literally had to run across a flooding house (in the dark) to save my hard drives and a laptop from the quickly rising waters most of my equipment is in boxes. but I do have one laptop which I will use to work as best I can.
Third, we now know that Hurricane Ian’s eye passed over our house with 96mph (155km/h) winds, which technically means that we had a CAT2 eyewall pass over our house while we had about 3 feet (1m) of water all around the house. It is remarkable that the house and roof survived and we are most grateful that the house, while technically “totaled” still can be fixed even if this will take a rather long time (the entire state looks for contractors and construction materials).
Lastly, it is my plan to finally write an analysis of Putin’s historical speech as soon as I can, but still not today (I simply am too exhausted and I need the day to further recharge my batteries). God willing tomorrow. My apologies about that.
So I now leave you with an open thread started, I hope, by a few interesting headlines to get the conversation going:

Next, here is an opinion poll about how the Russia public feels about the partial mobilization:
Question: do you personally believe that the reasons behind the the partial mobilization are valid?
60.9%: yes unconditionally
31.6% to some degree yes, but to some degree no
6.2% no, there are no reasons for this partial mobilization
1.3% I cannot answer that.
There are, however, many people who are not happy about the way this mobilization is being executed. Truth be told, Russians like to complain and hate on any bureaucracy, so this is hardly surprising. And, as with ANY large scale exercise, there are problems popping up here and there even if most of the mobilization is going smoothly.
The number of people who are fed up with the lack of modern communications from the Russian MoD is also rising (Konashenkov already became a meme). Even high ranking members of the Duma, including Andrey Kartapolov, Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee are getting mighty fed up. And please do check out Kartapolov’s biography to see for yourself that he is hardly a clueless civilian.
God willing, with time and people like Kadyrov and Kartapolov getting fed up with Konashenkov and his clueless team, some personnel changes will happen at the MoD public affairs department. Hopefully before the next phase of the war (whatever it might be, that we will discuss in the near future).
Okay, that’s all I can write today. Now I pass flag to you and leave you with an open thread.
Thank you all for your immense kindness, patience and support!
Hugs
Andrei
PS: and, no, forgive me, I will not answers any private emails until at least this week-end. Sorry, but we are all exhausted.
Don’t you just want Truss to drop out of sight into a deep dark hole.
But, the longer she stays PM the more damage she will do to her country.
Live long and prosper, PM Truss
Good to hear you are starting to get sorted even if its a long road, good luck,i had an aunt who lived down there and she survived a few,on a personal level hope its not a daft question but could people who live under a hurricane threat build survival bunkers under their houses ?
Not with flooding.
After the last big earthquake in 2011 a Japanese company designed a submersible tsunami shelter for vulnerable areas which would probably work well for storm surges as well. Probably a bit expensive though.
LT, you expressed it correctly in the most concise way and I thank you for that. I’ll be 80 in Feb, and interested in politics and the philosophy behind governance since my father (who was an anarchist pacifist and had to flee Italy in 1929 at age 25 to escape the Black Shirts) taught me the nature of the Beast.
During the 1960s I was in California and very involved with hippies, the back to the land movement and a radical analysis of politics, very hopeful there would soon be major change to the American style of ham-fisted government.
It didn’t happen, so in 1969 I gave up and instead chose to emigrate to Canada, it was the best to do in my life situation as I was 29, ready to develop my business and start a family.
The reason I left was because when I told my father how optimistic I was about massive change coming to the US he just laughed at me. When I asked him why he thought my expectations were funny, he said it was because I did not understand the nature of the people: they simply had not suffered enough.
So yes, by all means, bring Ms Truss on and let her do all she can to finish off a tottering English Empire, as reflected in a thoroughly corrupt parliamentary system.
One would’ve thought two world wars brought on by incompetent elites and the economic interests of the upper classes, the 90% would by now have suffered the changes needed, but no, they haven’t suffered enough. I understand that since the former nationalised railways have been privatised, the overall accident rate is up at least 45%, which shows you how very efficient the capitalist class is at keeping costs down.
The ‘change’ you mention (economic and social decline) was happening all over the west. In the early 1970’s Nixon made a deal with Saudi Arabia to sell oil using dollars in return for military protection, OPEC followed and the petrodollar was born. The profits from this and the dollar reserve currency enabled the US to carry on and even prosper for a couple more decades. This was often attributed to exceptionalism and God favouring America. In reality, what you’re now seeing in the US is what happens at the end of the industrial era and when countries begin to abandon the dollar.
All empires rise and fall. The English Empire has long gone and the replacement US Empire is also declining. The world is no longer prepared to subsidize a US first-world lifestyle.
Truss is not to blame, she’s simply one in a long line of incompetents following Prime Ministers Cameron, May and Johnson who all resigned. The real problem was decades of aligning ourselves with the European Union and now foolishly aligning ourselves with another collapsing entity, the US. It’s not that we in the UK haven’t suffered enough, the majority have now grown used to it and think it’s normal. Dark days ahead of us.
what do think will become the fate of canada in the near future and what advice do you have for a young 24 year old male living in canada
Glad you managed to get your few months of rest and recovery in before all this jazz, sure would’ve been bad if the hurricane hit without you having rested up somewhat.
“You’ve exported everything that makes a country run, for your greed, for Wal-Marts, for this idiocy of just buy, buy, buy and debt, debt, debt,” states Means, slamming apathetic Americans for allowing the Republic to be commandeered by two political parties who are almost identical. Means says Americans have lost their culture and dispensed with their values as a result, with families being broken up as a result of the industrialization of the nation and then the de-industrialization of the country, allowing the nation to be subject to mob rule.
Means explains how the patriarchal pyramid structure of power is designed to prevent itself from ever being changed, which is why he urges Americans to “go local,” uniting families and communities and preventing people from being divided and conquered by building co-operative structures from the grass roots level on a model similar to that used by the Quakers. “It doesn’t mean uniformity, it doesn’t mean socialism,” explains Means, pointing out that such a system is built around common goals and unanimous outcomes.
In the US, the rate at which bridges are falling down, a lot of people will be looking for alternative accommodation.
https://fivegunswest.blogspot.com/2022/10/hold-yourself-down-elevation.html
To my understanding, Means is describing socialist structures of cooperation. The platform that is the deal breaker for these liberals is always “Private Property” which allows for some to live off the labor of others. Only by eschewing this obsession–and that does not mean abandoning private dwellings, farms, or workshops–will politics change in America. Socialism is poorly defined and gets used as a projection of “all things I don’t like”.
PS. Socialism and communism are not codetermined by Stalinism. In fact, Stalin killed off the best communists of the Revolution.
There is a sort of shift on the situation in Ukraine and here in the west it’s difficult to understand what’s going on, propaganda is really heavy, like a continuos fog.
So mr. Saker, glad to know things are getting better with your house and flooding.
What do you think about how things are evolving in Europe? Some critics are starting to appear on medias, they are still isolated but that’s a first step.
German people are realising how bad is their government, 70% of them declared they don’t like their government anymore, and that’s a great news.
Everyone is talking about the prospect of a nuclear attack, the more people get angry for the situation, the more Ze and Nato starts talking about the need to shoot the bomb first, which is very scary.
I have the feeling that Nato and Russia are already talking under the table, and I have the feeling that european warlords are afraid that the social situation is going to explode soon.
And that also could mean that they really start a major attack to divert the attention and silence an ever growing opposition.
So do you think it’s gonna really be a nuclear war soon?
Or is it just that everyone is somehow playing a poker game to distract the audience and put pressure on the enemy?
The propaganda must be somewhat effective. There are people out there that believe that Russian’s held guns to people’s heads to to vote for Russia.
In WW2, the US and UK provided Russia with thousands of tanks, aircraft and other vehicles. Today, the US and UK are just shells of their former industrial selves.
My question is when does Russia tire of the lackluster response from the west?
Russia does sometimes jump into these propaganda traps with 2 feet. It is very frustrating. But one thing Russia has been squeaky clean on is the economic war. That is a true win. The propaganda cant even penetrate that. But on the battlefield Russia has scored some own goals. The fighters and generals have over achieved. But the smo is too rigid. Why couldn’t they shuttle some more forces in to avoid these retreats. That is on the security council.
First.
Dear Saker please gets some rest to recover yourself and your Family. The house can be rebuilt later.
Next:
Here in Europe the war propaganda has reached insanity as our economy is crashing all around us.
However the media and the general population are beginning to realize the consequences of the policies toward Russia conducted by Zionist Agents in European capitals and the EU.
The Exposure that Truss is an Zionist Agent can’t surprise many of the Saker readers, but that her Zionist affiliation is being exposed right after she had to retract her 45% Tax rebate for the ultra rich during a severe Recession, and while the Pound is coming crashing down, is a clear sign that within western governments, nobody with a brain will take the leader position, and thus the responsibility of the failed policies now backfiring on the West. Look at Western leaders: Biden, Truss, Von der Layen, Schultz, and Macron, and there can be no doubt as to why the West is crumbling.
War is not only fought on the battlefields, it is also fought with Finance, Energy, and Diplomacy.
Regarding war on the Battlefields: people must realize that, the reason why western war propaganda has reached a crescendo is because Ukraine and NATO once again are taking heavy losses on the battlefield.
Regarding war of Finance: the western bond and stock Markets are dropping like a stone, while interest rates are going up, threatening to bankrupt homeowners, business and even states. Every currency in Europe is dropping like a stone while the dollar is rising in value. This is a shure sign that investors have already seen the writing on the wall, That Russia will win the war in Ukraine, and that Central European Nations will be hit very had by the economic repercussions of the war in Ukraine, and their own failed Green energy policies.
Regarding war on Energy: Do I even have to tell you what war on energy supply means or have you already figured it out? At the moment energy is skyrocketing in all western Nations. Both because of the western hostility toward Russia, but also because the US-NATO hostility around the entire globe. Every nation attacked during the War on terror and the Color revolutions have been waiting for the moment to pay back. And that is what is happening now. While the US–UK-EU are erecting sanctions on Russian energy and global price control, Global oil producers have join Russia in reducing its oil supply by 2 million barrels a day. At the same time China is letting billions of workers free from COVID restrictions. Thus demand for oil to production and transport will explode, while Supply of oil will be scarce, and the price of oil will sky rocket.
Regarding diplomacy: Most nations around the Globe have by now had bad experience with US military interventions, crocked finance and hegemonic dollar policy.
That also includes its former allies in Europe and the Nordic Nations.
On the other hand, Russia has been supportive of Nations attacked by the NATO Empire, and have been trading soberly and on equal terms with its neighbors.
Today, ¾ of the global population have joining the SCO organization in support of Russia. Even Saudi Arabia has seen the writing on the wall for the US-UK-EU Empire, and has pivoted east, in alliance with Russia.
Putin’s foreign policy is now Paying off, while US-UK-EU foreign and domestic policy of wars, terror and exploitation is ending in Pay Back.
Revelation 17
7 Kingdoms and the 10 states have given their power and strength to the beast US-NATO.
The Beast shall make war against the Lamb (every spiritual, righteous and peaceful human being).
But the Lamb (humanity) shall overcome the Beast.
The 10 states will come to hate the whore of Babylon and shall make her naked and stateless;
They will rob her of all of her wealth, and burn her with fire.
I think Russia is just letting Europe disintegrate by itself.
Usa strategy is to use a slave EU to tackle Russia and keep it detached from Russia/China.
But what if EU disintegrates and everyone goes by its way? That would complicate USA strategy.
And actually EU is really disintegrating day by day, Germany is trying to move alone for its economy, Hungary just wants to get out as soon as it can, Spain and Belgium is attacking Germany for its economic movements, Italy is in stalemate and so on.
And of course Euro is going down and down day by day, and industries are having a very tough time.
Russia already won the war, from this point of view, and if war doesn’t stop soon, Russia (and China) will just gain more power through economy on the world.
So, beside propaganda, Usa and Ue are on a very slippery ground and in my opinion they really don’t know what to do.
On september 13 RT Medvedev said the U.S. was facing a potential nuclear attack from Russia, and he quoted a scripture verse in the Christian Bible “Revelation 9:18”. It refers to the “sixth trumpet war” that the Bible says will take place soon (everything God prophesied in the Bible whose time has come and gone happened in exactly the way the bible foretold it would). The Bible said it would kill one/third of mankind.
That’s over 2 & 1/2 billion people. It’s more than 40 times the number of people that died as a result of WW2.
Do you think all of the key players that God uses to bring it about will be rational, logical thinking human beings ?
Maybe on Russia’s end, but don’t set your cap on it coming from the leaders of the collective global west.
They’ve already blown their cover that they are not the cool, calm, intelligent wisdom imbued people that they would have the world believe they are.
Several of their moves have been blatantly observed by the rest of the world to have been done out of hysterical desperation. Like their rediculous sanctions on Russia that backfired on themselves. All they knew after that was to double down and try to sanction everything else they could against the Russians. In fact I think they would sanction the very air Russia breathes if they thought they could.
Their next “diplomatic move” was to try to hurt Russia financially by blowing up their Nordstream2 pipeline. God’s response to this tantrum by the west a couple of days later was having OPEC reduce their production of oil by 2 million barrels a day.
The so-called exceptionalism of the ‘elite’ collective west is nothing more than the tantrums of a spoiled child trying to exert control over his parents.
God Almighty our creator created the Heavens and the Earth and all that is therein, and everyone and everything in them “answers to God”.
Monkeywerx.com a highly talented former Airforce Traffic Controller has a blog in which he among several others keeps track of all planes in the air at a given time including the type of craft, call sign, identification number, flight path, touch down and take off times, and any other significant facts regarding the flight.
I’m including this post below by Alex Thrace on the article on Larry Johnson’s blog “A Son of the New American Revolution” titled “PREMONITIONS BY HELMHOLTZ SMITH”.
I believe Monkey Werx has accurately been guided by God to the flight of the U.S. P8 Poseidon submarine hunter jet that flew out of the U.S. the night of september 26 to the Baltic, refueled for over an hour over Grudziadz, Poland then flew a route along the Nordstream pipeline, descended to bomb-run altitude, dropped it’s ordinance (Mk54 air launched torpedoes) then fully, refueled flew directly back to the USA.
Click on Alex’s link below and read Monkey’s evidence and description.
God bless you and all of your loved ones and keep you safe through whatever lies ahead for us.

James H Kuntsler posted this today. Credible I think
“Monkey Werx,” notable for tracking the world-wide military flight movements, presents a comprehensive play-by-play of just exactly how the mission was accomplished. I’ll summarize but you can read his full report (click here) for yourself.
MW reports that overnight on the 26th of September, a Navy P8 Poseidon submarine-hunter jet flew out of the US to the Baltic. It did not land in the UK to refuel — thus avoiding any tracking complications — but rather rendezvoused over Grudziadz, Poland, with a US Bart-12 mid-air refueling plane, which it hooked up with for more than an hour. The P8 was equipped with Mk54 air-launched torpedoes. After un-docking from the Bart-12 refueler, the P8 followed a route west along the Nord Stream pipelines, descended to bomb-run altitude, and dropped its weapons. Kaboom. Then, fully refueled, the P8 flew directly back to the USA. Days later, when confronted at the UN by Russia with a yes-or-no question as to US responsibility for the Nord Stream caper, the US representatives refused to answer one way or another. Cute.”
https://www.monkeywerxus.com/blog/the-nord-stream-2-pipeline-sabotage
It seems probable that divers attached locating beacons to the pipelines during US exercises in the Baltic Sea.
Otherwise it is difficult to understand how torpedoes could reliably be targeted onto a pipeline.
Homing torpedoes and a diver placed locator beacon would do the job.
Readers beware
According the article in Naval News, The Production contract for delivery of Boeing HAAWC to the US Naval was published on Aug. 20 2022. Have they designed, built and tested any of these glide kits for the MK-54 Torpedo yet?
According to the article The Poseidon can carry one HAAWC equipped Torpedo, so what about the 3 remaining explosions.
The writer forgets that there were Helicopters hovering the area for hours prior to the explosions.
The Gas prepared to enter Poland from Norway is not yet functioning, and will only supply 10% of the Gas needed by the EU.
The Future gas entering the EU from Israel will be less than 4% of the gas needed by the EU.
Before the sabotage Russia delivered 40% of all the gas needed by the EU.
The article lays the blame on the US, Germany and Poland for the sabotage of NS-1 and 2, and removes blame from Denmark and Sweden.
Who are (we) or Monkey Werx, mentioned in the Article?
At the top of the flight screen is stamped the location of a farm on the island of Bornholm, and the house is a residency for a family.
Thank-you for your response. These are excellent questions, and I’m not sure that I can answer all of them for you. After all, I’m just the messenger. I can tell you this; ‘we’ (wifey and I) have been following ‘Monkey werx’ for a couple years off, and on, and ‘we’ have found his information to be very accurate and credible in the past. I assume you have read the full 5 pages of his article. The first question in my own mind when I first read it was, if not ‘Monkey’s’ surmising, what nefarious mission was this submarine hunter on to fly all of the way from the U.S. to the Baltic area and hover over Poland(which by the way thanked the U.S. the morning that the pipelines were blown up) at 2:10 A.M. (GMT) and spend 1hour and 20 minutes taking on fuel in the air till 3:28 A.M. (GMT). It then performed it’s nefarious duty and flew directly back to the U.S. arriving at 7:09 A.M. (GMT) the morning that the sabotage of the pipelines were discovered. And why did it fly ‘masked’ meaning it did not want to be tracked ? And why couldn’t it’s nefarious mission be accomplished much easier and more conveniently from our bases in Germany or the U.K. ? Again, this was a covert and clandestine mission. Can you explain it otherwise ?
Yes the contract to produce and sell these weapons was signed by the M. I. C. and Navy on August 20th this year. It is my understanding that contracts to produce and purchase such weapons are not signed until the weapons perform flawlessly. I assume the Navy thought this was a good time to let them pay for themselves.
I could not find anything either in ‘Monkey’s’ article or online that says the Navy P8 can only carry one HAAWC. ‘Monkey’ said the P8 has 11 external hardpoints for mounting weapons as well as an eternal bombay. He said one weapon in particular is a HAAWC, he didn’t say that the plane could only carry or deploy one of them. It’s my understanding that this one P8 accomplished the entire mission.
As far as the blue stamp in the upper left corner of ‘Monkey’s’ screen shot photo from his computer showing the planes flight path I can only assume that it is a way that he has learned to coordinate with others who do
what he does.
He said that he has taught many enthusiasts around the world how to watch the skies over the past two years the way he does, on YouTube.
He said the Russians also have this data.
The intellect that you showed tells me that you also have the intelligence to figure out the answers for these question for yourself. Unless your intellect is hindered by trying to sustain a mindset.
‘Monkey’ recently during this past year became an ordained Christian minister. I know that he would not simply fabricate something at the risk of losing the salvation of his soul in heaven for eternity.
For which part of my earlier post did you wish readers to “beware” of ? If it was the mention of God, I’m afraid that you are surrounded by many believers in God on these blogs. In fact Andrei himself is a confessed Orthodox Christian.
Ez-ED wrote:

My comment:
No. The flight of the US Submarine hunter P8 was a covert mission.
Ez-ED wrote:

My comment:
That is a misunderstanding. The F-35 fighter jet was paid for even before it was built and operational.
Ez-ED wrote:

My comment:
I doubt it. The fact is that the pipelines were bombed at more than one location. A large part of the pipeline is removed (missing) from the seabed. And a special crane vessel was commissioned to operate in the area right after the explosion.
Ez-ED wrote:

You are assuming.

I’m intellectual enough to know that it is unwise to reach conclusions without including all the facts.

My warning is for people to wait until all the facts are published, to reach a conclusion.
Otherwise we could end up like a dog chasing a cat into a tree, and the dog keeps barking up the wrong tree.
We had a US, Swedish, Danish and French marine vessel roaming the territory before the explosions, we had US helicopters, we had underwater drones, and we had the US P8 plane.
So which one of those units planted the explosions?
However, Several things are certain: It happened in NATO Nations EE Zones – It was an act of war – NATO vessels, helicopters and planes were in the vicinity before the explosions – And we have 2 confessions, one from Biden and the second from Blinken.
Ez-ED wrote:

My comment:
I do not fear being surrounded by Christians or people of any other religion.
My reading of the situation is this:
The “West” (i.e. the Empire, i.e. the Oligarchs and crazy military and “intelligence” oldboys who run the western countries by way of the US) actually *want Russia to attack the whole of Ukraine*.
They have pursued a stategy of maximum provocation to get Russia into this military conflict in order to destroy Russia’s relation with the “West” and thereby destroy it economically. That latter part has failed big time. I am sure they are aghast that Russia has not only survived their economic onslaught almost unscathed, and that now their Petrodollar system is in real danger. So, the economic war will almost certainly be lost and will hurt the “West” itself, particularly the subordinate states (EU etc.).
Now they seem to want a big and bloody war create a sort of Vietnam 2.0 or maybe Afghanistan 2.0, i.e. a long, bloody and costly war in the whole of Ukraine, with lots of terrorist acts and local guerilla resitance. I am sure they are furious that Russia has been able to basically destroy the armed forces of Ukraine in such a limited campaign (aka special military operation). And they are trying to figure out a way to make Russia bleed more. That is why they continue with their maximum provocation strategy. I think they want to give Russia more reasons to move further into Ukraine. I do not think they will carry out a nuclear attack themselves because that would almost certainly lead to an all-out nuclear exchange, i.e. to the end of the world.
Yes I totally agree with you.
The US/Nato strategy now is to provoke in any possible way in order to trap Russia into Ukraine, and if Russia retaliates with nuclear weapons, western propaganda is ready to elevate Putin (not Russia) as the incarnation of all the evil of the world.
We can easily read that from the Pipeline attack and from the bombing of Crimea bridge.
US/Nato wants an escalation, they don’t care about deaths and nuclear effects, since all will be blamed on Russia, so they are ok with that.
The other option is that discussions between US and Russia are going underway, hidden to the world, and Nato is trying to achieve the maximum they can to be in a strong position during the discussions.
That Crimea bridge attack anyway, after the pipeline attack, is a huge huge blow.
Let’s see.
I do not think that any sane person wants to use “tactical nuclear weapons”. Certainly not Russia, whose president and a lot of citizens think that Ukraine and Russia are one people, and who are in the neighbourhood. And Russia has fights a military campaign specifically designed to avoid civilian deaths and excessive damage to civilian infrastructure. That they would use nuclear weapons is a totally absurd notion, IMHO.
One problem is that the total brainwashing propaganda in the “West” robs many people, including politicians and people in high positions of their sense of reality. So maybe some people really believe that Evil Russia would use such weapons and needs to be “deterred”.
And maybe some neocon crazies (who do not live in Europe) do really think about the use of such weapons, but as far as I understand it, Russia made it clear that it would hit the US in the case that nukes of any size should be used in Europe. As the ambassador said “the US will no longer be able to hide behind an ocean”, “there is no such thing as a limited nuclear war”.
But those are my rational thoughts (or so I should think), and sometimes some people are capable of behaving in a totally irrational manner, unfortunately.
Remember that some people used full range nuclear bombs, not just tactic, when WWII was already finished and it was useless.
Or, if you prefer, it was useful just to show who had the power. How many people died for that? They were asians, so who cares. That’s how these people think and behave. Would you trust them?
Irrationality is moving the west since february, especially Europe. And the more a power is losing power, the more it behaves irrationally.
So I don’t think anything is sure at the moment, and I don’t really have any trust in those wicked crazy people in charge in the west.
But today Trump spoke clearly against those western assholes and said that USA must find and end to the conflict.
And some people against war are starting to.appear on medias, which means something is happening. Usually that means that the power behind medias are starting to shift propaganda because (maybe?) they are realising there is no hope of winning.
And autumn has arrived.
There has been a lot of commentators on various blogs complaining about how the SMO is going. Only Andrei M. and Larch think that Russia has not miscalculated whatsoever. I totally agree with them. Russia is not incompetent! But the question remains “Why did Russia ‘retreat’ in Lyman etc. recently”?
I used to think that Saker exaggerated how badly Russia was losing the information war but now it is ridiculous how badly Russia is losing the information war. For example, Western media and even pro Russia bloggers like Moon and Duran are saying that Ukraine has had a successful counteroffensive near Dudchany in the Kherson region. Tass ran a small article that said the the Ukrainian soldiers involved in this counteroffensive were trapped and routed. But I bet that almost no one saw the Tass article.
Hard to tell whats going on,but looks like Russia took a backward step for whatever reason,25 155mm shells blalsted into Donetsk yesterday killing civilains,so 8 months in its still happening,we shall see what happens in the coming days and weeks,i feel for the civilians under the Nazis control one artice in a so called newspaper here in the UK quoted a Ukrainian Nationalist saying they were hunting and shooting so called collaborators like pigs, they are proud of their crimes, after this is over these people need to be given a fair trial then hung.
Ugh, guys. This is a war that is going on, not entertainment for the masses. One does not say what / where / when and especially why, what one is doing militarily. One should criticize and ask to what effect your military actions lead to what social and political ends you are fighting for, but you don’t ask why your military effort succeeded or failed, until long after the fighting stops.
Exactly, and whatever Russian sources say will be interpreted as propaganda anyway, no matter what, unless they out-and-out admit defeat. This is war, only most Westerners stupidly do not recognize that their country is at war and even sending soldiers (in Ukrainian drag) to fight it. I’m sort of reminded of Japan in WWII, although there everyone knew they were out fighting gloriously for the Emperor. All was going so swimmingly, that several isolated soldiers held out in jungles for several years afterwards. Leaflets dropped on a city warning of a devastating attack? Nah, that’s just psyops. Carry on! Then suddenly one day the Emperor came on the radio to say, “Look we’ve been defeated folks. Lay down your arms.”
Someone, I think Scott Ritter, made a point worth noting: Russia won the ‘war’ with Ukraine in short order, but is now fighting a war with NATO.
Yeah — weapons, planning, intelligence, training, leadership, using Ukrainians as troops — but NATO/US is losing that too, although a more difficult opponent. Thats one reason for the mobilization, and another is the joining of the the new territories, needing more resources to hold them and to prepare for defense of them as part of Russia.
In chess, if one moves a piece to attack an area or position it is almost by necessity that it loosens control in the previous position. In war, as in chess, the state of the situation is judged by time (and tempo), material, and space controlled, and these juggled within any given time frame and resources, trading one for the other. One gives up material for space, space for time, time for material, and so forth.
If the job is to kill Ukrainians, it is much easier to kill them when they are exposed and concentrated in an an assault. The longer you retreat and encourage the enemy to continue, the faster Russians can destroy the Ukrainian army.
The successful retreats made now, open the door for fantastic success later on.
Unless the USA starts putting mass recruiting stations in Walmart’s, the USA is a yapping Chihuahua with a wallet. Biden needs to put boots where his mouth is.
mass recruiting stations in Walmart’s, the USA … hee hee
An overweight, drunken, army on those little battery scooters. That’ll put the fear of God in ’em. LOL. They’ll attach racks so the Bud-Lite cans flow straight to their hands. There is no way a lard-ass overweight army is going to win anything. A chihuahua with a wallet or a fish with a raincoat?
You’re spot on with the tactics!
They’ll have to order bigger cannons to handle the new fodder.
Think of it. A 10 battalion force of environmentally friendly mobility scooters. I am talking up armored with a smiling Biden bumper sticker on the front. Now tell that 10,000 correctly pronouned force that there is an EBT station on the other side of that hill and free unlimited data phone recharge credits…
Russian defenders would be totally overwhelmed. Launching with the force of an opening day door buster XMAS sale, Russians would be fleeing with their lives.
A sharp Russian general though, could, easily turn the massive charge into total disarray by correctly placing unattended pallets of flat screen TV’s. This would instantly reduce the charge into total disarray. Putin would swifty honor this ingenuity with the Hero of Russia award for such a clever battle tactic.
One should not dismiss the power of a Walmart recruiting station.
As for the information war, how much of the garbage spewed by government and media do people really believe? WMDs in Iraq, RussiaGate, Jeffery Epstein committed suicide … it’s one lie after another after another. Just because it is printed / broadcast does not mean anyone believes it.
From a recent Gallup Poll: Only 16% of adults in the U.S. say they have “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers, and just 11% said the same for television news. It’s all bullshit, all the time, and pretty much everyone knows it.
As for Russian strategy: they withdraw to preserve their forces, both men and equipment. Why sacrifice them over destroyed territory that has no strategic value? This tactic has been used repeatedly. Ukie forces are drawn out of their civilian-sheltered cities into the open where they are destroyed.
I visit all the sites referenced by commentators here and more.
I just don’t get this Russia loosing thing.
Using boxing as an example, sometimes you dance back.
Sometimes you even lay on the ropes, cover up, and take the punches (rope a dope).
The positives:
Russia drew them out of the towns.
Even their own vidoes show they are out in the open.
They are expending everything they have left. (In the 60’s in high school we called it shooting your wad.
These gains are costing the Ukies dearly.
Time is on Russia’s side as the western economies collapse.
It is haard to argue a different approach.
The big differnce in opinion is that I agree with perserving as much of the structure and infrastructure in the area. So, I would not do it any different than Russia myself.
There are absolutely NO indicators or warnings pointing to a Russian defeat anywhere along the frontline. Yes, Russia did withdraw from Kharkov, but that makes perfect sense. Furthermore, the goal is not to hold terrain, but to demilitarize the Ukraine and there is no better way to do that than to destroy the Ukronazi armed forces. Finally, many persistent rumors from well informed people are saying that “something” is up. So let’s wait and see before jumping to any conclusions.
That will be my own comment today, sorry.
Kind regards
Andrei
Thanks very much for your valued opinion.
This is the Russian move I liked. Military Summary was talking about the Ukraine military equipment being massed in Kharkiv in the North. The equipment was said to be being stored in massive Soviet era bunkers under the city. Russia cannot kill military equipment under civilians.
Then Russia did that big withdrawal in the northern Ukraine area. Ukraine did a big PR stunt about how the Russians were fleeing and Ukraine regained huge territory.
With Kharkiv no longer under threat, the Ukraine military equipment held under the city was useless. What did Ukraine do? They pulled out the military equipment and placed it in offensives where Russia could freely destroy it.
Somehow everyone seemed to miss the brilliance of that maneuver.
And when the autumn rains fall the US-proxies will be stuck in the mud.
Military Summary is an idiot.
I hope that “something is up” translates to “US satellites are down.”
Sooner or later, we will get there. No doubt.
I am agreeing with you so I guess i don’t get this reply.
Anyway, good luck on your house.
I have been in construction for more than 50 years.
If I wasn’t 74 I’d come over ther and help rebuild it.
It is clear that one of the armies must disappear, NATerroristO is hell bent to break Russia into bits and peaces, which Kremlin is quite aware of the threat. The only exit for Russians is absolute termination of khokhol hordes, literary to the last one. And that must be done in a controlled, enclosed environment. Who needs Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa and the rest if they end up like Mariuopol. I see this, as a beautiful game of drawing the hostiles to a range and just obliterate them, while the cities stay intact. Current battlefields are already in ruins, there’s nothing to save.
It only comes to firepower that Russians must bring to the table. The rest will be history.
theres reports and videos of massive trains bringing that firepower into Ukraine now, I have a stong sense we’re soon to discover what VVP meant “you ain’t seen nuthing yet”
Waiting for Saker analysis one can read new piece from Big Serge.

Andrei M. says that all of the Ukrainian “counteroffensives” in Kherson have been rolled back.
Yesterday while speaking to the Australian Lowy Institute, Zelensky said that NATO should preemptively attack Russia with nuclear weapons. If he isn’t careful he may soon find the Ukrainian people marching down the street with his head on a stick.
The Lowy Institute; funded by a Frank Lowy, an Ashkenazi jewish terrorist immigrant who founded the Westfield shopping mall abominations. Good friends with Larry “Pull it” Silverstein.
Zelensky and his evil handlers look desperate. False flag nuclear incident incoming.
The problem as i see it is that the stop in offense from Russia has fed into this tactical nuke propaganda narrative. People in the west really believe that Russia is fighting with all it has and losing. A sudden increase in offense would defuse this insane narrative.
I totally disagree. The US will invent any pretense for a false flag ,no matter what Russia does, but especially if Russia was charging along and liberating large swathes.
Something is up. But it is hard to understand what. The Anglo axis will not negotiate. It hasn’t in good faith for 8 years and wont start now. And now we have overt nuclear threats from Zelenski.
This lull in the offense from Russia is difficult for Russia supporters. The most encouraging news to me is that the mobilized units and practicing close to the frontline.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they detonate some sort of nuclear bomb or dirty bomb near the front lines and blame it on Russia .
I think that Putin is attempting to get Ukraine to the negotiating table before there is total war against them. Of course this all depends on the US but it would be tempting for Zelensky to act from a perceived better position than Ukraine has been recently. Yes, this would mainly be an illusory position as what is now Russia will stay Russia. But if Zelensky feels he is slightly better off and knows whats coming if he doesnt come to the table he might be tempted. He does not have to be in a better position in reality only appearing to be. or thinking he is. We are all aware that Putin has tried his best to avoid military solutions and even in that recent great speech that rightly identified the US policy deciders as “Satanic” there was still mention of always being open to negotiations. Recent events may just be Putins last attempt before the gloves come off .And if this is the motive for recent events on the ground it is hardly going to be advertised or signalled to anyone.
Praximan, You make a great point. There is a greater chance of a successful negotiation if Ukrainians think that Zelensky is negotiating from a position of strength.
There is a video out there of Biden saying before the war that “Russia has to attack.” Or “Russia has no option other than to attack”. Nobody seems to want to know why Biden thought there was no option other than war from before the start.
It would seem reasonable for a reporter to ask questions along these lines as to why all other options had run out.
Very sorry about the tough times facing Andrei and family but this will pass in time. As far as the Russian MOD’s inability to manage PR properly I find it ironic that people claim that Russia intends to meddle in the upcoming US midterm elections. How is Russia who is not very adept at PR and propaganda going to do this?
Subcontract to the FBI & CIA?
There should be no claim of Russian interference at all in the US elections because, after all, the 2020 elections as far as procedure were determined to be accurate and truthful. So they say. And if Russia wanted to influence elections they would have done it in 2020, unless the intent was to allow a mentality incompetent president and admin into office for the purpose of a SMO. It’s my understanding that Putin has studied every president in office extensively and would not have done this against any other until now. There was an interview of one of Putin’s former ministers on epoch times months ago who admitted this.
Rest and spend time with ur family, writing can wait a little while❤
Just a heads up.
I recall a few days ago an oligarch somewhere saying Putin’s life could be in danger.
Today I see a headline “Putin ‘could lose power and perhaps his life’ over invasion” on a national TV site here in NZ penned by a local “professor of international studies”. Professor of regurgitation more like it.
How they telegraph their moves.
Putin’s life is always in danger. Same with all the other heads of state.
Today US’s life is an danger because of sabotage failure.
And they hate to be treated like they treat others too, don’t forget that.
The US has a big defense budget. It finances lots of congresses and publications. No doubt this professor is somehow part of this echo chamber too.
Except there is only one guy who wears all the scars of the echo chamber name, and I doubt its him.
Without a doubt, the biggest NEWS happened yesterday with the OPEC nations decreasing the amount of oil to be delivered.
This is a major, big-time problem for the US Hegemon. For decades the US has been in complete control of all Gas/Oil throughout the world. After all, in the 70s the US dollar was pegged to oil/gas.
Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and other OPEC Nations have combined forces with their very important resource, and are aligning themselves more and more with Russia.
Now let’s watch what US/EU “diplomats” do to bribe those smaller nations using multiple millions of US $$s.
Well given the current set of circumstances, it would seem OPEC now needs to fund a pipeline terrorism charge into the cost of doing business.
Since any seller of Pipeline terrorism insurance would be out of the West, those funds could be swooped up by the creator of pipeline terrorism in the form of sanctions. The lawless actors out there in the field of worldwide domination ensure that any deals must not fall within their grasp.
The US could thwart exclusion by developing their own oil reserves and become an oil exporter and join OPEC.
Dear Andrej, as we say in South Africa:
“An Injury To One Is An Injury To All!”
Best of luck, stay well and keep safe.
We’ll see you back soon, but priorities first nèh?

Putin has answered Zelensky’s statement that preventive nuclear strikes against Russia are needed. Too late Zelensky.
Putin is pouring nukes into the Pacific right on time for Zelensky’s threat.
Washington does not care if Ukraine is hit, Washington cares if the US is hit.
The Poseidon is not first strike these are the boys that will make a difference.
Russia’s Pacific Fleet receives newest nuclear-powered submarines

The Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet has received two submarines in one day at the Rybachiy naval base in Kamchatka Krai, Russia.
The Project 885M Severodvinsk (Yasen)-class nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine (SSGN) Novosibirsk and Project 955A Dolgorukiy (Yasen)-class nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) Knyaz Oleg both arrived at the naval base on 26 September 2022, having departed the Northern Fleet region around 23 August.
Knyaz Oleg joins two other Project 955s in the Pacific Fleet, Alexander Nevskiy and Vladimir Monomakh , which were commissioned in December 2013 and December 2014, respectively, while Novosibirisk is the first of its class for the fleet.
Both submarines have had a long wait to be sent to their new homebase, having been commissioned on 21 December 2021.

MEDVEDEV UNPLUGGED
“Zelensky stated the need for preventive nuclear strikes against Russia.
Psychiatrists should give this idiot a preventive trepanation of the skull. Before he does more harm to his people and everyone else.”
As much as Medvedev is spot on, it’s getting more toxic by the minute. The absolutely hysterical MSM narrative 24/7 that Putin – because he’s “losing” – is about to unleash nuclear weapons on Ukraine equals preparation of Western public opinion for a FALSE FLAG.
God surely saw to it that you and your loved ones were kept safe. You got to experience the eyewall! The only time I ever experienced an eyewall was a raggedy little thing that had passed across a few tall mountain ranges, but during one such storm, a fairly large tree out back was torn out by the roots (must’ve been a tornado because no one else around seemed to have much damage), and that was really scary. I wonder if this major disruption was visited on our extended community so that we would rally harder. I’ve added words to my morning prayers for your swift recovery (hayaki yomigae-tachisakaeru koto).
JM Greer posted a photo of Britain’s new Miss Trust yesterday. I thought it was Goldie Hawn! Poor Britain!
I watched Putin’s Sep. 30 speech in Russian, jotting down times of excerptsI want to serve up to my students. Greer says he took it as a declaration of war against the West. I’m really looking forward to your analysis, but please take whatever time you need.
I would bet that the issues at hand would result in much the same way as Mr. Greer’s fantastic book, “Twilight’s Last Gleaming”.
The plot twist here is that if they can get someone else to take the retaliation, they might not be deterred. Some time back, Putin mentioned that if they try to set someone else up to deliver a nuke, the retaliation will go to Washington. That was smart. They keep trying to find a way to pull off a false flag, but it won’t help them if Russia knows it’s a false flag, so I say with great hope that you are likely right.
I can’t help but think of Russia’s “special operation” into Ukraine as ultimately intended as a sort of Samsonian jujitsu move against Germany and the wider EU. To wit, a quasi Kamikaze attempt to get back at Germany for what it perceives as its perfidy and hypocrisy in light of the fact that Russia (under Gorbachev) played a fundamental role in the reunification of Germany, i.e. in its literal reintegration, to which is owed the combined politico-economic might of the whole, and which in turn accounts for whatever greatness the EU itself might claim on the wider geopolitical stage.
But not only did Gorbachev’s quite generous condescension make all this possible (at no small sacrifice to the USSR!), the subsequent (but now expired) equanimity, amity, and complacency of Russia has sustained Germany via its existentially vital administration of relatively cheap energy. Yet how does this same Germany repay its post Cold War-era debt to Russia? By at best passively conniving with the US and NATO against the politico-economic integrity of the Russian Federation itself, an event that reached its fatidic consummation in the form of the 2014 Maiden coup perpetrated by the US.
The latter, btw, *the* hegemon par excellence, would have preferred that Germany never reintegrated and that the EU never formed, and that having formed, it had never achieved a competitive status against its own definitionally unipolar American interests. Such competitiveness being at least coequally a product of Pax Americana and of the USSR’s ease of acquiescence to German reunification and, if that was not enough, subsequently Russia’s role as the indispensable purveyor of the literal fuel behind the entire EU project: which is, in turn, dependent on the continued competitiveness of German industrial might as such.
Russia recoiled at Germany’s suspect perfidy and connivance against its own geopolitical integrity and status, a matter that became both graver and more absurd with every passing day, and that ultimately became insupportable when Germany appeared to irrevocably side with the US in supporting Ukraine over its existentially vital relationship with Russia. Russia was, by acting quickly, able to retain Crimea, but Germany became complicit in the piling of sanctions atop of sanctions against Russia, in addition to the piling of lies and conspiracies atop of lies and conspiracies against Russia as well. When Nordstream 2, a double lock and guarantee for the continued insurance of Germany’s “crown jewels” (the continuing viability of its industrial potential and might), was turned by Germany itself into an obscene and grossly hypocritical cudgel against Russia, that became the last straw for Russia.
Germany’s pretense to reduce Russia to a masochistic beggar even though the latter held the keys to Germany’s very existence must surely be one of the most absurdly grotesque spectacles in geopolitical history. So under the feint and pretext of imperial revanchism Russia has invaded Ukraine, and in lukewarm fashion operated to achieve certain superficial gains with an unusually circumscribed force (some indeed call the operation a failure). Yet as an attack against Germany, and thereby against the “pacifically” imperial might of the EU, whose heart and brain Germany is, it has been brutal indeed, promises to exponentially be even crueler with each passing day of Russian delay and dalliance in Ukraine.
Surely the EU will never recover from this self-immolation to its own reputation and prestige as an autonomous third imperial force on the world stage. Russia neither could nor wished to harm the US, nor was it of course in any form literally complicit with the former in the sundering of the source of German might: the east, not the West. But the effect could hardly have been any worse for Germany and the EU if it had done so (or indeed if it had used an atomic weapon against the latter). The US will come out on top alas, Russian standing on the world stage and internally is relatively sacrificed and harmed, but Germany, and by extension the EU (and especially the prestige of the Westernmost traditional powers within it) has literally run out of steam and stands as if millimeters before a cliff, if indeed it has not already fallen into the abyss.
– when Germany appeared to irrevocably side with the US in supporting Ukraine over its existentially vital relationship with Russia.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) is pressing ‘Queen’ Victoria Nuland about pledging a permanent end of Nord Stream 2. Ron Johnson initiated his questioning of Nuland by declaring all Russians having to pay a heavy price (remember this is before Feb 24, 2022), and is ending his questioning by asking for a destruction of Nord Stream 2 project.
Why? Unless Germany is planned to be targeted
Just wondered about a few things. It might be a good idea for Putin to put out a Clint Eastwood-style “wanted dead or alive” notice for Zelenski. This would highlight the latter’s criminality. After all, he is the illegal president of an illegal government, and a killer of civilians to boot. Perhaps the reward could be 50 million roubles. It would be money well spent.
zel begging for USA pre emptive nuke strikes was a bit looney. lots of RF blinding satelites (light pillars)?? things are afoot
OPEC + I understand just agreed to cut back oil production. That is a bit of a sucker punch below the belt for the U.S.A. who is so heavily dependant on cheap oil. (I wonder how much the Greenies in Europe promoted that? my understanding the really high oil prices in Europe are due to taxes, and thus can absorb some cutbacks from Russia and other oil producers simply by scaling back oil taxes.) Interesting how that plays into world affairs; particularly how much of that couples with what is going on in the Ukraine. Weather OPEC+ countries have one in for the U.S.A.?

Martyanov picked this up .
It sums it up!
Ukraine (and NATO) v Russia.
I read the western MSM and then the altenative versions. Both accounts contain a large amount of propaganda, but that’s normal in countries who are at war.
Then I read the ramblings of characters such as David Icke and Alex Jones with their ‘zionist’ or ‘shape shifting reptiles’ and ‘secret cabals’ who are supposedly behind all this and those make me smile.
In between the sublime and ridiculous are the accounts of previously surrending Ukraine troops praised as having a ‘mission accomplished’ and not led into captivity, but ‘evacuated.’ Hot on the heels are current alternative accounts of a general retreat by Russian troops described as a military success.
Meanwhile, politicians from both sides fight for the limelight, each speech described as having historical significance, but when easily deconstructed are simply repeats of what has been said a hundred times before.
We live in belief based societies where facts no longer matter and reality is what we deem it to be. This turns reality on its head and with the absense and inability of independent thought many become cheerleader echo chambers.
Welcome to the only conflict in history that has been won by both sides based on beliefs and not by a military outcome.
“Alice laughed: “There’s no use trying,” she said; “one can’t believe impossible things.”
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
— Through the Looking Glass. And :
“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean – neither more nor less.”
“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”
“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master – that’s all.”
This was before Twitter/TikTok/Meta/Gab/Telegram.
Welcome to Wonderland!
Russia will win this conflict based on a military outcome.
Putin’s speech was historic and was not a repeat of what has been said a hundred times.
Zionists and an an evil bankster cabal are behind Ukraine’s actions.
There has been no general retreat by Russian forces.
No one called Russia’s leaving the Kharkov region and Lyman a military success.
There’s nothing wrong with cheerleading a moral country against an immoral country.
It does not seem to me that you are on Russia’s side. Are you?
The British Empire always plays all sides off against another.
Both Russians, Germans, Americans are almost always fooled, most of the time.
Readovka link above shows this is not working anymore.
@bonbon
There is no British Empire, it ended decades ago.
Good one.
Snap out of it – Russia and China know full well the Anglo Saxon looting colonial Empire of Lies is at an end , now.
Strange how Brits don’t cotton on?
True bonbon. Name me countries that are still part of a British Empire that no longer exists. The US is now the threat to world peace. The Brits? We couldn’t fight our way out of a paper bag anymore.
Conflicts are not won by beliefs or cheerleaders whichever side they’re from. Neither do opposing nuclear powers win or lose and why they go to great lengths not to turn this conflict into an outright NATO v Russian war. Any eventual outcome will be decided at the negotiating table and God willing, not under a mushroom cloud.
It’s not a question of are you with us or against us by insisting others share your beliefs. That sort of brainwashed propaganda system is an American phenomenon.
I hope Russia eventually gets its buffer zone against NATO which is what this was all about in the first place, but I’ll stay clear of the twitter like zionist conspiracy theories and the HOO-RAR from either side and stick to reality.
– why they go to great lengths not to turn this conflict into an outright NATO v Russian war.
You are neglecting the goal for Ukraine war is to strip gas delivery from Germany and implement what was the goal during WWII – the Morgenthau plan. All the bombing – not of Nazi army, but of Germans – was about destroying the German people.
According to the US plan: victory in the war will be Germany defaulting.
Logically, it does not matter if Kiev is Polish or Russian after the war, as long as 1 mill German scientists are fleeing West.
Obviously, US will rather have an army of scientists rather than 10 mill Mexicans – working at minimal rate in agriculture? What is wrong with Californian wine we may ask ourselves?
Asia Teacher, You say “God willing”. Which means you believe in God. Which destroys your entire argument that one should live by facts and not beliefs. Your words are wiser than you are.
The eventual outcome of this conflict will not be decided at the negotiating table. Russia will achieve an overwhelming military victory in Ukraine. Ukraine will cease to exist.
Cheerleaders can play an important role in war. It’s called information warfare.
This conflict is about more than Russia getting a buffer zone. It’s about whether USA will be able to continue it’s psychopathological behavior.
When one side is evil (USA) and one side is trying to prevent evil (Russia), It does matter whether you are for or against Russia.
King Charles is head of a Church, the Royal Anglican. Theocracy anyone?
I’m afraid most Russians still do not get it. Putin refers to a Satanistic religion, or an inverted religion. That is indeed the case.
@Anton
Yes, I believe in God to the extent in that I believe there’s a higher power than man. The 20th century alone shows what happens to societies that elevate politicians to Gods.
After eight months, if you look at any map of the Ukraine it’s instantly obvious that Russia is not having an ‘overwhelming military victory’ in Ukraine. That it eventually might is an opinion based on beliefs, but the reality is completely diffferent.
Russia intervened to stop the massacres by the Neo-Nazis and to stop the advance of NATO to its borders. Nothing else. At no time have I heard President Putin say he intends to conquer the whole of the Ukraine and indeed, fell back to the easten border having reached Kiev in the initial assault to begin to build a buffer zone.
I’m for Russia and against western intentions to surround it with NATO and destroy Russia by economic means. I’m against propaganda and blind faith beliefs.
Asia Teacher, In my mind, the fact that you have not taken a Covid vaccine overrides ( in a positive way) any difference in outlook we may have regarding the Russian SMO. It shows you really do have common sense.
Your recurring theme is that it is not intelligent to base one’s life on beliefs. I totally agree with you. Beliefs stand in the way of an open mind. I think it is important to question everything.
Asia Teacher
– ‘secret cabals’ who are supposedly behind all this and those make me smile.
what will be teaching students false WWII history. One cannot teach anything else without being sacked, and one cannot oppose vaccines as a nurse without being sacked.
That is the cabal world we live in.
Regarding Ukraine war, the Russian generals missed what was US goals = they missed reality.
I stated Russia should offer Germans free gas to negate (Nuland) war plan.
“if you look at any map of the Ukraine it’s instantly obvious that Russia is not having an ‘overwhelming military victory’ in Ukraine.”
FFS maps won’t and don’t show Russian gains. it’s not about territory marked on a map. It is about the battle statistics, personnel and equipment disabled or destroyed.
“Russia intervened to stop the massacres by the Neo-Nazis and to stop the advance of NATO to its borders. Nothing else.”
Wrong again, their stated aims have been repeated here and elsewhere numerous times. For a self described ‘teacher’ you seem to have comprehension problems.
– Then I read the ramblings of characters such as David Icke and Alex Jones with their ‘zionist’ or ‘shape shifting reptiles’ and ‘secret cabals’ who are supposedly behind all this and those make me smile.
How do you know David Icke visions is any less true than Erich von Däniken visions, or Graham Hancock’s “Fingerprints of the Gods”?
And how do we know Covid-19 trial data is real when we have no access to raw data
@ kjell
There’s something called common sense and reality, a long forgotten way of looking at the world which I still use. I don’t put my finger in the fire to see if it hurts, I also don’t believe Obama was a returning Messiah, or that Trump was sent by God …
Our western belief based societies have spawned a whole industry of these cranks. You pick your choice and run with it. I and much of the world outside the west prefer not to.
– There’s something called common sense and reality,
So you believe Covid-19 vaccines having “95% efficacy” and beging “safe” (repeated 1,333,333,333 times in Media) … is true because of “common sense” ?
‘ “95% efficacy” and beging “safe” ‘ is as close to reality as “1200 mill” Jews begin gassed last war … according to latest batch of documents being released.
Graham Hancock’s “Fingerprints of the Gods” is compatible with what is told by Vatican translator, while our own Christian Bible is basically not confirmed by biblical scriptures. There was no “God” mentioned.
@kjell
Nothing to do with Covid-19. I remain un-vaccinated.
3-4 billion became vaccinated, 3-4 billion in the world lack “common sense” … ?
as we are to believe “common sense” will answer whether one should be vaccinated or not…
and who created mankind? Liberals will answer that with common sense ateism
How many intelligent races are there on Earth? Here the “common sense” answer is 1

Very astute (my bold) :
“However, we should not forget that both comrades receive instructions from Washington, but also from London, and recently the position on a number of issues in both Anglo-Saxon capitals is completely different. So, it is possible that the Britons continue to play their game in the matter of nuclear blackmail.”
Britain is exposing itself in public view! Ought to be a law about that!
As someone who is from the UK I think the US is using the UK as a “buffer zone” . The UK says everything the US wants it to do. The US has made the UK,with its puny military, into a decision making centre when it is really not. Hence, the UKs intelligence services are encouraged to be very meddlesome which gives it the appearance of being part of the “masterplan” with the UKs presence being felt in numerous situations.
If the situation becomes really serious the US hopes to use the UK as a kind of shield and a step before the US is targeted in any escalation. In other words, the US hopes the UK would get hit before them but essentially wants the UK to get hit for them.
Some in Russia are not swallowing that propaganda(see readovka link here) – Britain is exposing itself in public.
Any British subject should be disgusted at the display – it makes the Emperor with no clothes look modest!
Yes. I am totally disgusted at my countries role. I meet crass stupidity on a daily basis and what is unhinged racism directed at Russia. All of my immediate family have escaped to other countries! As it is Putins birthday I would like to be able to gift him the name of at least one leader in the West that has his intelligence and compassion. Instead it has to be all my best wishes.
I hear Kadyrov has been promoted to the rank of Colonel General so I guess he has won this particular spat with the MoD

A growing feeling inside Russia from one of the most important Russian political talk shows. People are not happy about how things are going with the SMO. The government ignores these types of criticisms at it’s own peril:
We take 300,000 mobilized people, we pull them out of the national economy. On this topic, the TsIPSO is now being dispersed. And I will ask for the 150th time: we have an army of 2 million people, 150 thousand people participate in the NWO. We have an army in our country – 2 million people, of which 1.15 million are military personnel directly. Or maybe you will begin to call up military personnel in the army? Well, where do you have these 2 million? Who are they? When I read that the SVO has been going on for so many weeks, and Kherson and Zaporozhye are still not saturated with troops … We had contract soldiers, and as soon as the special operation began, they took it and fled. And what are we going to do? Look at them and click your tongues? Will we expose the national economy, instead of calling on people who are already in uniform and with training?

Apparently the 300k is scaring the heck out of the West. Z and the West are talking nukes now. I think that means that the West are out of bullets and are stymied as to what to do. The military shelves across the West are empty. Nukes are a nice shiny thing to dangle so people will not be talking about the lack of arms and munitions to feed Z’s war effort.
Z is likely to start getting more vocal about the lack of support from the West. He is going to need somebody to blame his failure verses Russia on somebody. This is going to get epic and they are going to have to pay a a ton of hush money. How long can it be before Z says “I should have never put my faith in the USA?”
All this talk about satellites lately… The Russians were first in space with Yuri. They should own it and the West should be paying Russia royalties for sticking satellites up there. The US can lay claim to the moon surface but that is about it.
If Kim is Little Rocket Man, then Happy Birthday Putin is Big Rocket Man! Just like Russia was first in Space now under Putin, Russia has dusted the USA with the unveiling of hypersonic missiles for which there is no counter.
Kiev is fully aware that General Winter is rolling in with 300,000+ .
Some in heated talk show studio’s have simply no idea what this means. Materiel crossing, now dated borders, is for all to see.
And the Swans are flocking.
‘Some of Elon Musk’s SpaceX devices stopped working when Ukrainian soldiers liberated territory’, cited high ranking Ukrainian officials. ‘Outages and outages have led to catastrophic loss of communications’.

I’m sad that you have suffered in the hurricane, and pray that your life is restored as quickly as it can be. It’s a good thing that your house can be repaired. That’ a real blessing.
We are at a very critical time in conflict between the West and Russia, and the forces of darkness in the West have gone completely over-the-top in the propaganda department.
It’s been horrible misfortune to have the very best web resource for those who oppose the forces of darkness in the West go dead at exactly the time we need you the most. And then, double-bad to find out that our host has been horribly effected by the storm.
It wasn’t that long ago that you took your writing sabbatical. My impression was that you had turned the day-to-day editing of the site over to some trusted lieutenants. (Maybe I’m wrong about that?) Things seemed to hum along fine while you were out, only we missed the personal commentary.
So, I am hoping that you can find people you trust to step in now and get the site ticking normally (albeit, again perhaps without your personal columns) so that we are not stuck in a radio silent mode at the time we most need to communicate, and read what the analysts we’ve come to trust have to say.
Initially I thought it should be relatively easy to find the latest columns and videos by your top contributors like Gonzolo Lira and Pepe Escobar. That has not proven to be the case, at all.
So, as guilty as I feel making this appeal, I’m pretty sure others here have thought the same thing.

SpaceX delivers Russian, Native American women to station
Rogozin hilariously quipped on Twitter, that a Russian woman is the reason Elon Musk proposed a peace treaty with Ukraine!
She was already on the launch pad!
Meanwhile Medvedev tweeted Elon Must broke his Soviet cover – he needs a new rank!
They finally did it as promised, Kerch bridge damaged due to truck bomb.
This is a huge escalation from Kiev/NATO/UK/USA.
Yes they seem to be attacking Russian infrastructure with impunity, himars killing people in Donbass every day,the pipeline blown up,now this, all at the same time as most of Ukrainian infrastructure is still standing, make no mistake like the pipeline this was a Nato attack.
