Let us deal with Snake Island first as the level of noise is unbelievable.
Snake Island in the Black sea will remain under Russian naval and air control. Russian Politician Alexei Chernyak.
End of story
Russia can take that piece of serpentine rock and missile it to non-existence but they’ve just used a rock to remove the Ukraine’s biggest impediment (lie) about the paltry amount of wheat in the ships still unable to make passage. Now the supposed ‘international order’ have no more excuses and the Ukraine must demine their naval mines. But always remember, we’re dealing with the Empire of Lies!
For this one, we will look at the bigger world first, and then we will go on to the ramparts.
A reminder: What is this all about?
A Biden advisor says that US drivers will pay a gas premium for as long as it takes, because:
“This is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to stand firm.” https://t.me/IntelRepublic/1516
Liberal world order is code for the rules-based international order which is code for a single pole of power in our world. In other words, they understand on some level that they are fighting for their existence as the ultimate ruler.
In sharp contrast, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov – Minsk, June 30, 2022
The future world order is at stake. We will go back to the origins and observe in practice the UN Charter principles, above all the principle of sovereign equality of states, or else the world will be plunged into chaos for a long time. Our choice is clear: We stand for unconditional respect for international law. We will uphold this position together with our Belarusian allies and our other numerous like-minded partners who share these approaches, which was confirmed during the recent BRICS summit and in the final documents adopted at this summit.
Russia and the multi-polar world are getting stronger day by day. Let’s take a look at how the mighty are falling:
EU Circus
We posted a Douglas MacGregor clip recently with the heading: Its collapsed
There is little to be said here and we can only depict this with a cartoon or two. The number of cartoons generated by this circus exceeded all expectations. Everyone was cartooning!
NATO – Crisis of Existence and another announcement of Wunderwaffe
The Chinese friends report on the NATO split:
“On the issue of the Russia-Ukraine conflict alone, there are different demands among Western countries, as Germany, France and Italy want to stop the war as soon as possible, and the US is calling on all NATO countries to make a common cause against Russia. Wang Shuo, a professor at the School of International Relations of Beijing Foreign Studies University, believes that in this situation, many European countries are questioning whether NATO can solve the crisis in Ukraine. If it cannot work, what’s the point of NATO’s existence? At the moment when Europeans believe that NATO needs to play a role, it proved itself disunited and incompetent, another sign of NATO’s existential crisis.”
https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202206/1269395.shtml
And on the NATO document:
Zhao Lijian: The NATO 2022 Strategic Concept has misrepresented facts and distorted the truth. In this document, NATO once again wrongly defined China as posing “systemic challenges”. It smeared China’s foreign policy and pointed fingers at China’s normal military posture and defense policy. The document seeks to stoke confrontation and antagonism and smacks heavily of Cold War mentality and ideological bias. China is gravely concerned over this and firmly opposes it.
Here is our message for NATO: hyping up the so-called “China threat” will lead nowhere. NATO must immediately stop its groundless accusations and provocative rhetoric against China, abandon the outdated Cold War mentality and zero-sum game mindset, renounce its blind faith in military might and misguided practice of seeking absolute security, halt the dangerous attempt to destabilize Europe and the Asia-Pacific, and act in the interest of security and stability in Europe and beyond.
The Baltic States no longer believe in NATO.
Latvia and Estonia decided to buy air defense systems for joint defense.
“The NATO Summit gave a clear signal that assistance will be provided to those who are ready to defend themselves,” Estonian Defense Minister Laanet said. The initiative to develop regional defense was also supported by his Latvian counterpart Pabriks. “We are working on developing our own capabilities,” he stressed.
Finland states it will NOT extradite its citizens to OTHER countries UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES – Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto.
So, already Turkey’s pre-condition to Finland entering the NATO bloc is falling apart. Perhaps The Sultan knows that this may not happen at all. This is what it looks like: Finland and Sweden have not joined NATO yet, and there is a long process ahead, says Erdogan. According to him, the signatures at the Madrid summit do not mean the end of the work to eliminate Ankara’s concerns. Turkey wants to see in practice what the decisions reached will mean.
Scholz (for what he is worth) at this very same NATO meet, got scared and quickly urged not to hinder the transit of Russian goods to Kaliningrad. He wants to reduce the tensions in the Baltic region. The most interesting is that Politico reports this. But then, he wants to set the rules according to some rules-based international order concept that he seemingly thinks he is entitled to promulgate on the spot.
“Transit rules should be established taking into account the fact that we are dealing here with traffic between two parts of Russia,” he said at the NATO summit in Madrid.
And he also tumbles the sanctions:
“In the case of Kaliningrad, an exception should be made from anti-Russian sanctions”, Scholz stressed.
Politician and former energy minister Panagiotis Lafazanis urges (https://ria.ru/20220701/lafazanis-1799505196.html)
Greece to conclude a strategic alliance with Russia and to lift sanctions, because “Europe is hit hard by the sanctions. Europe has shot itself.”
And then, Germany Seizes Gazprom LNG Tankers which belonged to the Russian energy giants German subsidiary – Gazprom Germania. And Russia in the form of Gazprom turns up the Pain Dial by turning off the gas faucet to the company, and key gas retailers in Germany and the UK suddenly stare as the bottom of the tank becomes visible.
So, given the extracts from the last few days through the EU Circus and NATO’s announcement of Wunderwaffen, can you see clearly that they are telling only big stories. These weapons may not materialize, and most know it. Besides, if Russia does not destroy them, she buys them.
Arms trade on the line of contact and indirect deliveries of military equipment from Europe to Russia by Ukrainians
In the context of the news (https://t.me/vzglyad_ru/57577) about the transfer of another six units of CAESAR self-propelled guns by France to Ukraine, we want to talk a little about how things are with the arms trade on the line of contact.
We already wrote that two CAESAR self-propelled guns went to the Russian side for a ridiculous 120 thousand dollars. At the same time, Ukrainian negotiators initially requested $1 million for the launcher.
How it looks technically in practice:
- Negotiations are underway through special forces on the possibility of acquiring one or another model of foreign equipment;
- Since this whole thing is taking place on the line of contact, control over specific types of weapons and military equipment received from the West is rather conditional there: the most you can count on is a relatively timid commander and rather zealous representatives of the SBU, who will not give a damn about reputational losses of Ukraine in case of loss of foreign equipment;
- The Russian side acts as a picky buyer who does not need outdated weapons and military equipment: everything that is needed was obtained by undercover intelligence and so on. Local Ukrainian businessmen are trying to cash in and somehow sell the RF Armed Forces what they have. As a result, the deals go through, but are guided by the Russian side, at the same time, only by the expediency of maintaining contacts with the enemy;
- In the line of special forces, they agree on the organization of a massive artillery raid on a certain already empty square to divert attention while the actual transfer of equipment is carried out;
- The Russian side has already expressed interest in acquiring HIMARS. They asked for more ammo.
- To the Russian side, we repeat, such deals provide an opportunity to maintain working contacts with the Ukrainian side, which in the future will allow solving much more pressing issues. On the Ukrainian side, there is a great desire not to fight and earn money.
So that is one of the deals with the wunderwaffe. Here is another:
Some watcher of Ukrainian channels report that Ukrainian General Staff asked Zelensky in the role of the President to please please stop requesting 777 howitzers and NLAW anti-tank systems, which quickly fail or do not function at all.
(The telegram channel where I found this, notes .. hahahahah fucking Wunderwaffe)
Xi Jinping’s current visit to Hong Kong for its 25th anniversary since its handover from the Brits, speaks volumes. As well as Mr. Putin’s planned visit to the upcoming G20. The fact that these two leaders are now traveling outside of their countries must show that something has changed. Either the risk of Covid is now such that they can take it, or the security environment has changed so that their security staff considers such visits as an acceptable risk.
Europe is slowly curtailing payments to Ukrainian refugees. Poland no longer pays for food and accommodation for Ukrainian refugees, with exception of pregnant women, disabled people, and families with many children.
These are convincing arguments that the EU is breaking and NATO is cracking.
To the ramparts we go
Russian Defense Ministry announces successful advance into Lisichansk, Lugansk region, with Russian and allied forces taking control of the Lisichansk oil refinery as well as other key districts in the city, as Ukrainian forces said to be in disorganized retreat.
Sergei Kiriyenko visited the Kharkov region. Such a visit is considered a sign that Putin has made a decision that the region, now Kharkiv, and formerly Zaporozhye and Kherson will be annexed to Russia. The issuance of Russian passports has started and the formation of administration is in progress. Russia takes full responsibility for such a region. The Russian flag is forever if Kiriyenko, who is responsible specifically for domestic politics, has been there.
This lovely photo was taken in the Lugansk region.
Once the passports flow, and the banks open, Russia is there: The first branch of Promsvyazbank, one of the largest Russian state banks, has opened in Kherson and already there is a bunch of people in line: https://t.me/EurasianChoice/16207
The Kyiv regime is trying to hide the defeat of the Ukrainian troops in Severodonetsk and present the flight of the UAF militants from the Lysychansk direction as a tactical retreat.
Detail as usual comes in many forms and thank you to the commentators who regularly post different takes. Be aware we’re coming from the fog of Lisichansk, so, don’t believe everything that every Tom, Dick, and Harry pronounce. Always confirm with the Russian MoD report. We still like Military Summary. I would suggest you take in the last report of yesterday before you look at today’s first report. The reason for that is that he mentions at the end some of those that he works with.
Payback is in progress for the total hack of all Russian sources as the SMO started.
XakNet Team (https://t.me/xaknet_team) hackers hacked the website of the Ukraine is Our Home TV channel. Now the anthem of Russia is played there.
Earlier (https://t.me/rt_russian/117872), they said that they had gained access to the systems of Ukrainian energy companies of the DTEK group.
And today (https://t.me/intelslava/32332), the Killnet (https://t.me/+a3ATRboVqh05MWNi) group brought down the website of the US Federal Tax Payment System.
Enjoy the discussion. This sitrep will stay up until it gets too full of comments and then we will refresh.
Hard to day what the truth is.
Usually it sits somewhere in the middle.
Anyway we will see when winter arrives the resolve of Europe.
PS: Those cartoons of Europe are a bit inaccurate…no dark skins.
Show me a high ranking brown-skined EU lider…
Best i can think of is sadik khan and he is only the mayor of london.
So yes, it represents the EU ELITE accurately…
Trudeau forgot to out the shoe polish on his face and didn’t place a size 5c-D bra over his head.
https://herzberger-fofana.eu/

High ranking EU MP from the new green gay lulu Germany.
Like her friend Baerbock she hates Putin and Russia.
Russophobia is program in the green gay pedo party.
Not matter of skin color
P.S.
There re more brown skined EU MPs
The white EU leaders re only puppets can very easily be replaced at any time!
For Green Party, Germany, read CIA.
Why should Europe have any political representatives of dark skin? Europe is still a land of white skinned people isn`t it? How about exchanging Putin with a native of…Borneo? What are you even talking about?
Didn`t Africa get rid of it`s european born elites and replaced them with it`s own natives?
Should China and Japan also have “dark skinned” representatives?
How about the Inuit?
Ahem 25% of UK is composed of foreiners now, look up the last census.
By your argument sadik khan is ok as mayor of london cause i guess 40% or more is made of foreinergs there now…
”Didn`t Africa get rid of it`s european born elites and replaced them with it`s own natives?”
Africa is still ruled by white European ”elites”

The truth don’t usually sit in the middle. Is the truth somewhere inbetween what the New York Times says and what the Russian MOD says (or the experts writing the saker for that matter)? Is the truth somewhere in middle of modern biology or creationism? No it’s not.
Yeah I dislike these oft-repeated, incorrect, know it all, ‘established’ words of wisdom too. Be interesting to know the Western budget for spreading manure.
Seems the Russians prefer equipment that actually works to paying a gaggle of experts to build a reputation that their equipment is invincible.
For me, the problem is that the western powers that be have never told the truth, so how can I believe ANYTHING they say?
The truth can be found at one extreme or the other. It often is. 2+2 isn’t somewhere in the middle. Or truth *can* be found somewhere in the middle – but much closer to one side than the other.
However it can be found, or at least deduced, easily enough. Search out the impossibilities, remove them from consideration, and you’re left with the possibilities.
Remove from consideration anyone who contradicts themselves and/or invokes double standards to justify their case.
Immediately downgrade anyone who’s been caught lying. Even once. If they continue lying then disregard whatever else they have to say. They’re liars.
Lastly, in order for a conclusion to be true the premises must be true. And the conclusion must be true in all instances.
Given these do you still believe the NATO story?
Good observations. The “golden mean” is the lazy or too busy person’s approach to determining a facsimile of truth, but winds up giving an inestimable advantage to gifted liars. If the liar lies big enough, he or she can get whatever is desired, as the average person puts the “truth” somewhere between the liar’s and an honest person’s version. Also worth noting is that the average person fudges for an advantage, so that is what they feel is going on with everyone. They cannot imagine someone making an enormous walloper of a lie, but objective science shows there are people who are very gifted at it and indeed get a kick seeing what the gullible will fall for.
The truth never sits “in the middle”. The truth is the truth, and it stands on its own.
The truth of Empire of Lies is that it suppresses / spins / inverts / ignores the truth, however best to fit their agenda.
Suppress: censorship of everything pro-Russian.
Spin: Russia is the cause of inflation.
Invert: Ukraine of winning!
Ignore: What biolabs?
Black Cloud.
Hearing ya.
The wheels of the USA are spinning so fast the wheels could fly off before, during and or, after the mid terms.
Most definitely in the, middle of America. The truth be knowing.
É verdade que são muitas as mentiras. Mas é mentira que não exista a verdade !
Translation. Mod:
It is true that there are many lies. But it’s a lie that there’s no truth!
Cookie: “Hard to saywhat the truth is.
Usually it sits somewhere in the middle.”
Why?
That’s just a bargaining heuristic. You start high. I start low. We meet mid point.
There’s nothing to point to where the Russians have lied as egregiously and incessantly as the Ukrainians.
The Russian information usually is revealed later to be very close to the actual facts found on the ground when the fog of war subsides.
Hopefully those cauldrons will close soon. Nothing like a cauldron to get NATO, EU and USA attention. Also as I have mentioned before – a few more days closer to winter. I am guess as we get closer to August that the real panic sets in about energy and food.
Nothing is more exciting than the ongoing battle for Snake Island. An otherwise useless rock, yet at the same time an area that Russia can let Ukraine win with no consequences. As long as Snake Island is in play for a media victory, NATO will send unlimited guns and money into Ukraine.
If Ukraine is Europ’s Afghanistan, then Snake Island is the Afghanistan within the Ukraine.
The two Alex’s Duran report on Snake Bitten Island was very good, can’t but agree all Russian MOD ‘reasons for’ should go through Forigen Affairs first, I realize at this point Russia doesn’t really care what the west thinks, but from hearing how the Russians felt, just tell the truth. You never have to remember the lie, or to whom you told it. As Alexander pointed out, the gesture of ‘good will’ reads like a mea culpa on blocking the grain shipments.
A coincidence perhaps but Forigen Legion troop locations seem to be identified and surrounded or eliminated first. A pain dial directly connected to five eyes and hanger on countries? Nice touch on Russia’s part if such is the case.
Cheers M
Good point on why lying in the long run always is unsustainable, you have to remember every lie the whole time and different lies you told to different people. There will be contradictions, and thats what the West is facing more and more, people worldwide woke up to the BS the West told on Ukraine. Ukraine itself is a joke to begin with, Ghost of Kiev, Goat of Kiev, Snake Island, all the Footage of Games which was presented in TV News. I don’t watch any MSM TV anymore, I can’t fathom it, in the end they will even lie with the weather report.
The cartoons are cool. That is EU in the flesh as they live and breathe.
Didnt the russian MOD knew about the strategic value of Snake Island before?
For what they ve wasted resources and soldiers?
The wheat and hunger argument does not seem so coherent.
The island during the day of sail ships and cannons was strategic. Stand off weapons make it a target and liability.
Military Summary reporting a physical encirclement of Lisichansk. He got the news from LPR forces about an hour ago.
Cheers M
Unreasonable expenditure of resources. Shit changes. They can deny access to it to anyone – anytime.
They prolly will, if the ukies land on it.
I want to know about property relations in the acquired territories, specifically those of Ukrainian oligarchs and foreign investors. As Russia moves west and acquires more of Ukriane, what will happen to those property relations?
Ill begotten gains should be distributed among local people, the true stewards of the earth.
Yep, that won’t happen.
The LPR and DPR are the ones regulating property ownership. The RF has no say. Normally, if a owner follows the local laws, pays taxes, etc. then the property stays in same ownership before and after.
Thank you for Your summery.
I would just like to add, that all the progress is incredibly costly in all, that is valuable to us in both material, human and spiritual resources.
I wish I was young enough to join the festivities directly – because I see the reason behind the act.
I do have the feeling though – that I will get my wish – I will think of something I can do besides the mundane support.
In the end it is up to me what chances am I willing to take, what price am I willing to pay by actions against the globo-schlomo-homo disco.
What price am I willing to pay by NOT actively opposing the…child molesters…
Remember when everyone was complaining about all those military aged males invading Europe from the ME? What are the chances that they will become the new Russian cannon fodder?
NATO is going to have to find cannon fodder from somewhere when the last Ukrainian is lost.
At the moment the international assassin and Nobel Peace Prize winner Henry Kissinger reduces the war in Ukraine to Russia’s territorial ambition and does not mention geopolitics in the matter at all. The admired western political criminal tries to justify the western position and reduce the Russian success to date to almost nothing.
And he is correct.
Ukraine war – itself – is PURELY about the people /humanitarian aspect/ and the land /military aspect/. That some then equate “land” with economic (aka imperial) reasons is just their incomprehension.
What he is trying to state there is that Russia is not in it for fighting EU or NATO. But they are ready should that come.
It is the West who provoked AND is now attempting to escalate the conflict. On the Economic battlefield we are already in WW3. What he is trying to say that it is NOT WORTH IT FOR THE IMPERIAL WEST to risk a direct military confrontation with Russia over some “backwater land in eastern Europe” as the Western audience sees it.
Kiss is and never was a good person. But he understands strategy and understands how weak a hand the West is waving now. He also understands that no amount of waving will make the Russians and Chinesse take the bluff.
Yeah, the Liberal LGBT World Order is really worth fighting for. All feelings and stakes are on the table.

The Philippines celebrate their inauguration of double-act Presidential team Marcos / DuTerte: two ex-presidential family names the most consistently denigrated, reviled, despised and traduced by Uncle $cam.
My wife’s Philippina carer and her Philippino colleagues traveled together to lodge their postal votes. She is delighted with the result:
“The Americans want us to fight China. They say they will give us super weapons. We say, you bigger than us, why you not take your super weapons, go fight China yourself? Do you think we are stupid?”
I would hazard a guess that the Russian “exit” from Snake Island is in part a feint, designed to lure the Ukrainians into another big attempt to go back there. If they were trying so desperately when the Russians were on the island, how more so when the Russians are not on the island (but nearby!). Ukraine won’t be able to resist the temptation.
The Russians will be back on the island soon, at their convenience …
Doode, the place is the size of two football fields…seriously.
I mean once this thang is over, I might consider buying it… 😉
he-he-he; the uk guardian hilariously described it as a ‘land mass’ as if it were a continent or at least strategicallu substantial, a victory to overmatch the fall of lugansk….
My guess is that being on Snake Island is like being a sitting duck or the opposing side’s target practice, and whoever is there is subject to constant attacks from either side.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/cYwogL7Q43eU/
Theres a part one link when the guy is first captured. This video shows a ukie guy that tortured a RF soldier in captivity. The POW is a broken wreck off a human in every way awaiting his fate.
I guess the collective West now regrets bitterly not sticking to the Minsk agreement, now they have to fight not just for their Ukraine (proxy) but for their very own existence as well. It will be interesting watching this show further down the road.
The Europeans are no doubt having second thoughts about the non-enforcement of the Minsk agreements, of which France and Germany were “guarantors”. But Uncle Shmuel is at the moment quite happy to have seen Minsk ignored, and armed conflict begun; Uncle may not be so happy, though when the dust finally settles, and what is currently Ukraine has been re-organized to Russia’s satisfaction.
The European bastards especially the Brits occupied , colonized and kill millions of innocent humans for many centuries , I think they deserve to be killed and destroyed along with their supporters who ever they are .
America is doing the same right now , they killed peoples all away from since it’s inception until currently sitting in Syria illegally and stealing oil and wheat which belong the Syrian people all to benefit the Zionist state, sitting in Iraq illegally again encouraging ISIS to destroy Iraq and Syria , helping the Saudi regime to kill innocent Yemeni civilian , and so on and so forth , evil people has no conscious.
Where is the united nation ? Is it serving the interest of the USA and it’s allied .
The world needs a new United Nation who speak and protect every nation on earth
The Russians did wisely to abandon Snake Island. It’s not strategically valuable. And now they’re free to blast it when the Ukies move in. Rinse and repeat….
Snake Bite Island was of temporary importance. It wasn’t contentious until the Moskov was hit. Interesting that it is closer to Romania and rumor has Romania connected to the Moskov incident. But once the intelligence gathering of the ship was lost, Russia would have had a blind spot in that area. No ability to chance another ship, the island then became very important for Russia. The drilling platform attacks, I immediately thought dual purpose, oil and a surveillance location. It would be nice to know if the platforms were in position before the SMO started.
Since the Moskov sinking I believe Russia has launched two new satellites. The MOD mentioned one for target acquisition and speeding up deliver time the other one I’d hazard a guess was to do what the Moskov did without the need to defend. If it has been tested and passed, then the need to be on the island is moot. Plus Russia can turn the soil there on a whim.
Cheers M
Russia should really blast the snakes. Dont give to the ukro nazi propaganda a possibility to make out of snake a cult or kind of shinto shrine
Panagiotis Lafazanis was a member of SYRIZA party leadership in Greece (and also part of its leftist wing). After the infamous SYRIZA’s “kolotoumba” (flip-over) in 2015, he, alongside the whole left wing, left the party and formed LAE (Popular Unity) party, which, unfortunately, didn’t make into parliament in the next elections. Now, he has split ways with them and he remains one of the most pro-russian politicians in Greece.
Yes ! He is one of a very few politicians, with an over 55 years’ front line presence in the old communist/left greek political spectrum, who entremely candidly asked us to consider all this historical period irrevocably closed and to try to build a new National and Social Liberation Front, together with other greek democratic and patriotic antiglobalist political forces, something which is, -at least for now-, really very very difficult to do.
But, why despair? A few days ago he founded ΔΗ.Κ.Ε.Α : DEmocratic Movement for the National Liberation ! ”Dum spiro, spero!”
Snake island, another one of Putin’s judo moves? The Ukrainians are loosing big in Lysichansk because of Zelensky’s stay and fight orders. Yet, according to Military Summary, 20,000 Ukrainians are already preparing another stay and fight right around Seversky where the Lysichansk cauldron has its base. This makes Zelensky of the greatest possible assistance to the Russians just like Hitler’s botched leadership was of the greatest possible assistance to the allies after Stalingrad. The Russians have to do everything to keep Zelensky in power, preventing the Ukrainian military from taking over (not necessarily removing Zelensky because that would look bad) to enforce a strategy better than stay and fight. Here it is where snake island comes in. The snake island retreat is being spun into a victory by Zelensky’s camp. That’s precisely the PR boost they need in view of the Lysichansk disaster so that power remains in their hand.
Elensky is russia’s best general at this point
NATO is commanding the Kiev military.
None of us knows if Zelensky is calling the shots. I would bet that military decisions are being made by geniuses from the Pentagon.

Excellent analysis! Ha! Ha! I’ll give you my reason on why the west is so stupid when its comes to efficiency and organizational structure: The military — typical political generals without merit who parrot the party line. MIC (Military Industrial Complex) the corporations who buy politicians. It starts with the weapons manufacturers whose business is to trade in military goods. Whether the work is shoddy or not is not important. It’s all about money — empty suits grabbing the green (dollars).
The whole system in the West now is driven by money. He or she who has the money calls the shots, no matter how stupid they may be in real terms.
Realist,
I THINK THE WEST HAS LOST IT MIND:
Two days ago Boris Johnson said that Russia would not have invaded it Putin was a woman (toxic masculinity thesis) and that they all (the G7 members) should take off their shirts to compete with Putin.
Now this today:
Former US Defense Secretary James (MAD DOG) Mattis criticized Russia’s war in Ukraine
“We have a saying in America, we say that nations with allies thrive, nations without allies wither and we’re watching Russia wither before our eyes right now,” Mattis said.
When asked what military lessons could be taken from the war so far, the former US Marine said: “One is don’t have incompetent generals in charge of your operations.”
He also called Russia’s military performance “pathetic” and decried “the immoral, the tactically incompetent, operationally stupid and strategically foolish effort” of its campaign in Ukraine.
https://edition.cnn.com/europe/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-07-01-22/h_09d4a6957395ffe9b39942789b9f5bef
That is the same general who who praised Elizabeth Holmes/Theranos: “Mattis went out of his way to praise her integrity. ‘She has probably one of the most mature and well-honed sense of ethics—personal ethics, managerial ethics, business ethics, medical ethics that I’ve ever heard articulated,’ the retired general gushed.” (Holmes will be probably sentenced to 20 years in prison in September.)
I feel so sorry for Sergei Lavrov having to interface with these people… and to any extent that people tuned into to hear the President of the United States speak as “leader of the free world”, in a few months more time Vladimir Putin will be the most serious and important semi-Western leader. Does anyone seriously think Boris Johnson or General Mattis could lead the world through a global crisis? The only serious semi-Western leader is now Vladimir Putin. The rest are complete clowns. IMHO
He says in one of his recent posts: “That said, I believe a great many have now been awakened from their intellectual slumber by the manner in which the Russian armed forces quickly assessed the Ukrainian order of battle, and then professionally adapted their strengths and tactics to decisively defeat it.”
You don’t fall into an “intellectual slumber.” It’s not that a wise one falls asleep on the job and then wakes up. Also, bureaucracies don’t have these islands with wise men in them who are so different from the others, etc. He does not identify them – could be just his wish. The damage is done: First it was that Ukraine beats Russia, then that the goal is only to get a stalemate. The stalemate goal can fail like the previous one, so nobody is certain that it will happen. There’s more uncertainty, that’s true. This “stalemate” goal is a “fall-back” position, and it could easily also be wrong. I think there’s no idea of what the Russians assessed or changed, none.
Now the main question most Europeans are asking: is price of electricity of 1000€/ MWh (next winter) where the collapse really begin? Can any European business survive until spring 2023 when even after it will give “relief” of price of 500 €/MWh?
No wonder why India and China don’t hesitate to take that business EU is squandering.

You are correct, Ukraine in the northern Donbass is indeed in a slow-motion collapse. The Russian advance will be somewhat easier now however. The tough nut for the Russians to crack was the taking of Severodonetsk which was accomplished with hard fighting. During this raging battle which ended last week, the Ukrainians had the better field position. The hilltop city of Lysychansk across the river from Severodonetsk offered Ukrainian defenders (some of who were crack troops) the high ground on a bluff further reinforced by the river barrier. The area is surrounded by large hills, ravines and valleys. All in all, an excellent strategic defensive position.
This strategic and natural advantage in part with the help of US intelligence led to the debacle of the attempted Russian pontoon bridge crossing.
To overcome this the Russians opened the Popasna front which is on the side of the river as Lysychansk. And after breaking through as Popasna, the front continued to expand taking in the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway and finally now to Lysychansk.
Russia’s state news agency TASS:
26 June, Russian forces entered the city from five directions.

“Local residents report that they are observing the beginning of the withdrawal of the armed Ukrainian formations from Lysychansk. Yesterday they tried to pass through Verkhne-Kamenka towards Seversk, but under the blows of the allied artillery and the Russian Aerospace Forces, they lost several columns,” LPR’s Rodion Miroshnik reportedly said.
Ukrainian sources:
“Russian troops are attempting to encircle the Ukrainian Armed Forces outside the city of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region from the south and west.”
https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-ato/3519272-enemy-attempting-to-encircle-ukrainian-troops-near-lysychansk.html
No, we have to correct Ukrinform — the Russians are not attempting to encircle Lysychansk, they are doing it. At this point Ukraine can only delay.
What’s more, Chechen forces have crossed the Seversky Donets near Privolye, which is already half under Russian control, and the front is advancing. The pincer will close.
Ukrainian forces that manage to escape, can only fall back to Seversk-Bakhmut line which is not readily defensible. Once this occurs in the relatively near future, you will have the Slavyansk-Seversk-Bakhmut defense triangle with Russia in operational control.
Yeah, I thought it might make sense for Russia to buy up a lot of the weapons being supplied to Ukraine on the black market.
It has been ages I commented on here, although I keep visiting the site on a regular basis.
Given our imbeciles and cowards in governments and parliaments, it seems prudent to me pointing out some advice before it is too late. If European countries refuse to take and pay for the Russian resources as contracted, Russia is free to find more reliable buyers for these resources and services. Once that happened and alternative contracts are in force, the former buyers will have foregone their right and chance to get those resources for many years, maybe forever.
Just five months ago it was unthinkable that energy scarcity might force rolling shutdowns of gas and/or electricity services in Switzerland. Now, the Swiss government is planning exactly for that, allegedly as a contingency just in case. Keep sanctioning Russia for another month and I predict that contingency will be upgraded to fact.
Anyone understanding the issues with shutdowns of large sectors of the electricity grid knows that outages can be scheduled for the power downs but hardly for the power ups. In fact, getting a sector powered again demands an awful lot of work that our current operators cannot handle repeatedly, let alone on a daily basis. I cannot fathom the level of ignorance of those seriously considering this band-aid to sanitize their moronic politics.
Anyway, the results will be richly deserved – even if disastrous.
“Just five months ago it was unthinkable that energy scarcity might force rolling shutdowns of gas and/or electricity services in Switzerland. Now, the Swiss government is planning exactly for that”.
I think the planning was done a lot earlier, and not only by the Gnomes of Zurich in Switzerland. It’s all part of Con-B3 (aka Buy Back Better). First soften up the sheeple with Con-19: Declare a Global emergency, Govern by authoritarian decree, Lockdown to disrupt supply lines and bankrupt small businesses, Quantitative Easing to pump up big capitalists. Follow up with Con-B3: more of the same. Create shortages to drive up prices. Use surplus electronically created currency (electrons are cheap) to buy up remaining property at firesale prices. If a lot of sheeple die of malnutrition, cold and disease, so much more room to enjoy larger estates. Even poverty stricken sheeple are more expensive than electronics. Even docile sheeple are less programmable than electronics.
Very well said! BRAVO!
The economic battle field is also advancing swimmingly:
Russia demands rubles for grain exports.
Moscow has expanded the list of commodities that must be paid for in Russian currency

You’ve just got to love the Russian deadpan humour even in the midst of the SMO. Thanks for the sitrep, it made my day.
“In the line of special forces, they agree on the organization of a massive artillery raid on a certain already empty square to divert attention while the actual transfer of equipment is carried out;”
This entire effort by Ukie thugs has entered the bizzaro-world, a live lampoon. One side is selling the weapons it screams for from Zone A, supposedly vital for its survival! The other sides humors the crooks, to deprive them of weapons, demoralize them, learn secrets to NATO weapons, and maintain contacts.. if this is not proof this is a war of kissing cousins, I don’t what know what is.
It reminds of the joke told about a NYC subway heist by a New Yorker friend. One passenger fell asleep and woke up to being robbed. The crook looked apologetically at him and said, “go back to sleep; it’s better for both of us..”
“The fact that these two leaders are now traveling outside of their countries must show that something has changed. Either the risk of Covid is now such that they can take it, or the security environment has changed so that their security staff considers such visits as an acceptable risk.”
Yes good points. At a certain point, to show the flag and rally Zone B, they must leave their borders or mainland, at least to visit neighbors. Confident moves which will be understood throughout the world. It indicates decisions on succession have been made, war footing is fully on, and Zone A is descending quicker into chaos –> “the EU is breaking and NATO is cracking.” This G20 may be most interesting meeting in years, and likely its last.

The only quibble I have with his most excellent summary of their role, is his statement that the current situation in Ukraine is “the culmination of a 30-year project of the American neoconservative movement”.
IMO it goes back a lot further than that.

Armed Forces of Ukraine in a panic: The battle for LYSICHANSK is not over yet, and the Russians are already advancing on SEVERSK! Breaking news – evening of July 1
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not have time to conduct a counteroffensive against Lisichansk from Seversk in order to deblockade the garrison, and the Russian army is already developing an offensive against Seversk! The LPR army announces the liberation of Privolye and Shipilovka. Earlier it was reported about the beginning of the fighting for the city of Novodruzhesk. There are also battles near Zolotarevka and Verkhnekamensky. An important moment, with the loss of Shipilovka, the threat to the Lisichansk-Seversk road also arises in the Belogorovka area.

The situation with the Lisichansk boiler.
1. The Lisichansk-Seversk road has not been physically cut yet. That’s how they cut it, then it will be possible to talk about the boiler. So for now, we can only talk about the operational environment.
2. In the evening, the battles were for Verkhnekamenskoye, Zolotarevka, Novozolotarevka, Controversial, Novodruzhesk, Belaya Gora.
3. Fighting also continued in Lisichansk. Statements about 30 or even 50% control of Lisichansk most likely stem from the fact that the Lisichansk Oil Refinery and adjacent villages + outskirts + industrial zones are considered here. The city center is still firmly under the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For now.
4. On the Ukrainian side, they say that they can stay there for another 3-4 to 6-7 days.

On the direction of attack of the Center grouping, the results of the offensive are clearly visible. There is a cleansing of Lisichansk, Severodonetsk has been liberated. As I said earlier, this is indeed a very significant success, especially since the battles are taking place at a very difficult theater for the offensive. Honor and praise to the fighters of General Lapin and the Wild Geese of Wagner. In the north of the DPR (Izyum Front), an active exchange of artillery strikes, raids of special forces groups in the forests, and tactical offensive operations continue.
Our fire is much stronger, which makes itself felt. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forests and settlements in the north of the DPR are very significant. Many Ukrainian servicemen can no longer endure artillery fire, leave their positions or surrender. Of course, this is far from a victory, and the backbone of the Ukrainian group has not been broken. Their artillery is quite accurate, shell and fuel hunger, apparently, is not yet felt. But in any case, everyday heavy strikes make themselves felt and the loss of personnel in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will very soon affect the general state of affairs at the front.

Readovka (who is usually pretty accurate) is showing the same thing. By afternoon, July 1, the pincer movement push from both north and south of Lysychansk had gained momentum. From the occupied oil refinery on the outskirts of city, Russian troops are advancing to the village of Lysychansky, an important transportation hub to the west. According to unconfirmed reports, Privolye and Shipilovka have been taken.
There has been significant progress west of Lysychansk. It won’t be long before the Ukrainians are trapped and the Russian Army at the gates of Seversk.
Marjorie Taylor Greene Urges U.S. to Leave NATO to Avoid War with Russia
BY GERRARD KAONGA ON 6/30/22 AT 10:44
Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene recently argued that she felt the U.S. should leave NATO to avoid a conflict with Russia.
On Wednesday evening, Greene took to her Twitter account to share a Wall Street Journal article reflecting on the increasing tension between the U.S. and Russia following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
She also warned that she believed the U.S. could be dragged into a conflict with Russia if things continued as they are.
“The American people do not want war with Russia, but NATO and our own foolish leaders are dragging us into one,” she tweeted alongside the article. “A war that no one will win. Escalation over Ukraine, a non-member nation, risking nuclear war is a power-play endangering the entire world. We should pull out of NATO.”
What I have been saying, and for years now, and which is critical to understand what has happened in ukraine (& elsewhere, including about China), is PNAC & the original (neocon) wolfowitz doctrine, as revealed in 1992 by the nyt http://www.nytimes.com/1992/03/08/world/us-strategy-plan-calls-for-insuring-no-rivals-develop.html:
‘part of the American mission will be “convincing potential competitors that they need not aspire to a greater role or pursue a more aggressive posture to protect their legitimate interests.”
The classified document makes the case for a world dominated by one superpower [usa] whose position can be perpetuated by constructive behavior and sufficient military might to deter any nation or group of nations from challenging American primacy…
To perpetuate this role, the United States “must sufficiently account for the interests of the advanced industrial nations to discourage them from challenging our leadership or seeking to overturn the established political and economic order,” the document states [favourable to the usa, of course, with some titbits thrown in for its lackeys, like the uk etc].
…the new draft sketches a world in which there is one dominant military power whose leaders “must maintain the mechanisms for deterring potential competitors [Russia & China] from even aspiring to a larger regional [i.e. regarding Russia & ukraine] or global role.
…we must seek to prevent the emergence of European-only security arrangements…
…in the event of a resurgent threat from Russia, “we should plan to defend against such a threat” farther forward on the territories of Eastern Europe [i.e. ukraine]…
…It suggests that the United States could also consider extending to Eastern and Central European nations security commitments [translation, control the country]…
…According to a draft document being circulated by the Pentagon, part of the American military mission in the era after the cold war will by “convincing potential competitions [sic, should be competititors?] that they [i.e. including Russia in particular] need not aspire to a greater role,” thus insuring that no rival superpower is allowed to emerge.’
PNAC is the Project for the New American Century, namely this century (it was formed in the late 90s by the neocons with republicans like dickhead cheney, dumbsfeld & bushit), & no, it has not been abandoned, but continued by both yank parties.
The release of the PNAC would seem to have been the trigger for Russia and China to get very serious about preparing for a coming war.
Perhaps it is not so smart to tell those you intend to beat up and dominate what you intend to do………..
Put your morning coffee down before you read this, apologies if you saw the headline first.

The sitrep states that by coming to Hong Kong, Xi Jinping travelled outside of his country. This is simply wrong because Hong Kong has always been part of China.
That is not at question. Hong Kong is part of China – One Country, Two Systems.
But I don’t think Xi Jinping has traveled outside the mainland of China for a few years now. That is what we were trying to say.
In my opinion the best analysis available in English on the SMO (and much more in the Russia/China struggle against NATO/US). Is that to be found on The New Atlas:
Russian Ops in Ukraine (July 1-2, 2022): Snake Island, Russian Gains in Donbass, Western Narratives
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fup1n0M5PqQ
The news in the US is highly censored. The control of information and tracking individuals is beyond the wildest dreams of the former KGB in the Soviet Union. One has to balance the inevitable propaganda associated with any conflict, particularly at this time of AI algorithms monitoring searches.
What is unclear, is why does the Russian Federation not cease all oil and gas sales to Europe? The ensuing chaos would seem worth any loss of revenue. The Ukrainian civil war has been ongoing for years. If it is true that Russia was scheming to re occupy eastern Europe why would Germany and the other nations arrange for dependency on energy from their enemy ? It is so much smoother for Russia if Europe is dependent on Russian energy, sending their Euros in cash, than for Russia to occupy hostile populations of lazy socialists. Why would Russia, with a small 145 million population try to occupy 300 million foreigners, along with imported millions of radical Muslims? Nonsense.
It was clear that the global corporate interests who control the US are obsessed with the destruction of America’s middle and working classes, who define the block of constitutional natural rights beneficiaries and created the unique power house that America became. The Marxist-Maoists and modern Corporatists share the goal to destroy this impediment to socialist global government.
America has become a corporate fascist state, immune to regime change through voting and highly aggressive in attempting to impose its’ will on other nations. Our military officer corps has been purged of competent officers, and political commissars replace them. We just suffered a humiliating defeat by Pashtun goat herders and now we pivot to inciting a war with Russia. These same incompetents are goading the Russian bear followed by their ankle humping European vassal states. This is insanity. The Ukrainian people are suffering and the division between ethnic Russian and Galician cultures are made permanent.
The worst disaster of driving Russia and China into an alliance is realized. Just let the ethnic Russians in Ukraine re unite with Russia and let the Galician nationalists run their shithole impoverished lands.
Too close for comfort.
SNAKE ISLAND = INSULA ȘERPILOR (in Romanian)
BILE – the name of the UA settlement on the island (utter stupidity, in order to live there you need water, food and power/fuel but the Ukraine had to prove that Ukrainians live there)
It looks to me that some people do not have access to Google Maps. The island is important!
1. If Russia has it, it provides a base to watch southern UA and track the NATO aircraft from M. Kogalniceanu (and Fetești) base. The bad news is that the supplies must be brought to the island by sea. Also, the island is so close to the land that the UA forces can use artillery to bomb the island. They can fire Grads from barges in the Musura Bay, near the Romanian border (20 km). So, while the Russians can easily occupy the island and, they cannot maintain a presence there without spending significant resources. I think that the fact that they tried to keep the island and the fact that theybusted the UA forces when they tried to retake it shows that they know that the island is important.
2. If UA has it, they get a position of surveillance to the W of the main RU base at Sevastopol (. If they manage to put some good SAM systems on the island (S300 + Buk + Tunguska – the latter one I’m not sure if they have them, or the supplied NATO equivalents of these). With a HIMARS on the island, they can strike Sevastopol harbor (or some other places in Crimea). They can supply the island far more easily than the RU forces (barges with fuel, water and food – humanitarian aid for Bile – from the Romanian port of Sulina (20 km).
3. The island is the best (if this might be an acceptable term for a sane person) place to trigger an incident with NATO. NATO aircraft are flying constantly from Mihail Kolgalniceanu base (100 km SSW to the island). There are also two major training ranges at Babadag and Capul Midia where NATO forces are conducting training exercises which are even closer. Less than a month ago I’ve encountered a column of military vehicles returning from such an exercise (near Lehliu on the A2 motorway – they were going West, which means they were returning).
Sometimes a small area can be more important than is seems.
I’m not
Only now the Lisichansk boiler is closed. “The trap has closed,” Ramzan Kadyrov said.
The city is completely surrounded by Allied troops, and a full-scale offensive on the settlement will soon begin. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have nowhere to go.
“The nationalists are cornered, it remains only to put the finishing touches,” the head of Chechnya said.
The LPR confirmed this by way of Andrei Marochko, an officer of the People’s Militia.

I think his explanation for all who say the Russian soldiers are inept, etc., is not enough (he says that it’s because of the CIA/intelligence/military/industrial complex).
Generals like General Mattis are showing their military capacity and abilities in the judgments they pass. One can’t really say that it’s just that somebody told them or that somebody fooled them. They’re too old and big to be speaking as puppets or spokesmen for anyone like that. Mathis was most critical at the same time the NYT was reporting on Russia’s successes in the East, which made his criticism more odd than previous ones, but today the NYT is concentrating on personal tragedies and Russian atrocities and not reporting on what’s happening on the battleground. His explanation implies that there is someone who knows (he believes those guys are everywhere too) and this someone lies to the rest, and they believe him. See why that is simplistic? That line of thinking only makes sense if you say the “devil” – something like that – is the one who knows and is lying to all of them and all of them are believing him. And you and I know it from the start also mysteriously. Another explanation: It’s a disastrous military school, a disastrous path to the top, a complete disorganization to allow them to speak on current military matters, and the like, so a problem that is beyond simply the CIA/intelligence/military/industrial complex.
It’s a good thread.

Vladimir Putin: “Our plans are not to occupy Ukraine, we do not plan to impose ourselves on anyone.”
He said this in a nationally televised speech in Russia a week ago on Thursday. I want to comment on why this statement must be rather disingenuous. How many times did Russia say, prior to the February 24 invasion, yes, “invasion”, and “war” too, that it would not attack? You know it. I don’t, maybe nobody does. Putin’s twice stated declaration that Ukraine may-might lose its statehood was to me his private reflection stated out loud. It is therefore almost all that counts for me on this matter.
““The current leadership needs to understand that if they continue doing what they are doing, they risk the future of Ukrainian statehood,” Putin said in Moscow, according to the newspaper. “If that happens, they will have to be blamed for that.” -March 5, 2022.
https://thehill.com/policy/international/596997-putin-warns-ukraine-might-lose-statehood-if-they-continue-doing-what/
This second statement means actually the same thing as the quote, “Our plans are not to occupy Ukraine, we do not plan to impose ourselves on anyone.” Plans change, as in “we don’t plan to, but we may.” Just a few points on this twice repeated statement (not hundreds like some in the West need to come up with, just an opinion):
1) He likes the idea. There may be some other idea that he liked more, but he is okay with the idea if he must achieve it.
2) He is ready to do it. He can be pushed into it.
3) It has implications as to what “winning” means.
4) It is a product of a long reflection. It’s not off the cuff stuff. It’s a logical outcome for him and one that is likely. (No confirmation of the first instance was needed.)
5) He said it twice for the same reason he says there are no plans to occupy Ukraine. He wishes things were different. He would have chosen peace if allowed to. Russia is ‘too big’ already. Being the richest country in natural resources, yet still underdeveloped as to its potential or where it should be, it needs peace not war.
6) He must have thought it and be thinking it even more now: “Somebody else is not going to force us to spend so much money and resources, and lose soldiers, and just get away with their XYNX (foul) action. We will be compensated.” Thinking the opposite is impossible, right? Surely, there are plans to be compensated (revenue calculations).
7) Some people like Yuri Podolyaka pay no attention or do not believe it. It’s not a false warning; you don’t know him like you should if you think that. It may happen! Now, Blinken just said that this was the objective all along and that it already failed. It’s a “strategic failure.” Alas, it’s too early to declare Russia the loser, but it was done. Looks like Blinken has not read hundreds of points on Putin’s warning. Why would an opponent, even ‘the opponent’ as some even in the Russian government stated, define victory and defeat in such inconvenient (to one side) terms? Who knows? Some outlooks are right, others wrong.
amarynth on July 02, 2022 · at 3:50 am EST/EDT — “That is not at question. Hong Kong is part of China – One Country, Two Systems. But I don’t think Xi Jinping has traveled outside the mainland of China for a few years now. That is what we were trying to say.”
The meta-question to ask is: Has any Chinese President ever officiated the inauguration of any Hong Kong Chief Executive before?
The Chinese are highly into nuance and signalling. They think, plan, and execute long term. Instead of looking at Chinese events one at a time, it is more useful to look at chains of events whenever we can spot the links. In my opinion, these are some key stepping stones:
1. First they shut down the US-inspired democracy freaks — also called cockroaches for dressing in antifa-black and swarming of a sudden to destroy city amenities.
2. The extent of the US defeat in that skirmish is revealed in how quickly all those NGOs and newspapers ( sustained by CIA covert action ) jumped ship.
3. Next, they announced the Greater Bay Economic Development Plan, at once giving Hong Kong room ( hope ) to once more prosper, and diluting its influence by merging it economically with Shenzhen, Macau, Zhuhai, and a bunch of virgin rural land ( think more real estate developments ) all centred on the humonguous Pearl River Delta.
4. Along the way, they had polite conversations with Hong Kong’s property oligarchs: release your death grip on the island or you may not like what happens next. Said oligarchs immediately refrained from personally seeking office in city councils and town planning councils, from which perch they used to control even the CEO.
5. Then they let the former CEO (Ms Lam) go honourably from her underwhelming performance. She had seemed somewhat over-awed by the property oligarchs, and the noisy “democracy & freedom” gangster-style parliamentarians.
6. And now, for the first time, a Chinese President inaugurates a Hong Kong CEO, signalling a new way of doing things — also showing said oligarchs that this CEO has the right sort of backing.
7. A new Hong Kong begins, one less hog-tied to old British era oligarchic elites, and one definitely cleansed of US-inflected democracy bullshit and freedom snake oil.
8. This new Hong Kong will find its future in association with Mainland China, and not with London, and certainly not with New York.
9. In time, the new Hong Kong will be a model and inspiration for Taiwanese, leading to the peaceful reunification of Taiwan into Mainland China.
Yes kiwiklown, as you detail, it is a huge event. Took 25 years to claw it back from the British and they are still crying. “British Prime Minister Boris Johnson publicly declared that the UK is “not giving up on Hong Kong.” Foreign Secretary Liz Truss repeated the same old tune that the UK has a “historical responsibility” to Hong Kong and its people. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also issued a statement at the same time, pointing fingers at China.”
These people are truly non-agreement-capable. Sometimes I don’t understand it .. must be genetic!
https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202207/1269581.shtml
But now we are way off topic :-)
“In time, the new Hong Kong will be a model and inspiration for Taiwanese, leading to the peaceful reunification of Taiwan into Mainland China.”
Too long has passed already. China just issued a new law or “Special Military Operations” Order with 59 articles and six chapters (that’s style, not copycatting).
Xi said in a major speech (about two years ago) that the Taiwan issue was a matter of “life or death” (quote) for China. U.S. policy assumes they won’t be reunited. This depends now on China entirely, so it would have been more realistic to assume the opposite and play mediator with sympathies for Taiwan, yet also telling Taiwan that it cannot count on the U.S. in case of a conflict (maybe the ‘war on terror’ left too little room for changing that policy). China would have been surprised, generous or compromising in response. It’s still timely to change the bad policy; why bet on the weaker one and insist it’s good (there’s an “unbreakable bond” with another little one)? Why lose when you or “everybody” can win? Incompetence, I say, what else? Since it’s a “life or death” issue for China, the Taiwanese should get inspired like you say.
Ok, in July we’ll see if Russia stops at DVP and LVP territories. Or will they continue to the Dnepr als a natural border?
I just wanted to post what the pro-UKR side is saying and how they use Snake Island for their propaganda. It’s very amusing and completely deranged!:
The French artillery systems Caesar flattened all Russian presence on the invaded Snake Island. There is no use denying the light of the sun, even for a Russian propaganda outlet. And as Germany is getting serious at last, pressed by the Netherlands to send more artillery, this means headache for little green men, because the two countries possess over 200 more PZ2000 Panzerhaubitze, systems that surpass Caesar in capacity, range and efficiency. Presume we will see soon some 50 more on the battlefield able to fire far over 60 km with exalibur shells, that drop with pinpoint accuracy. They also have shells filled with subbombs covering 3 hectares. Soon withdrawal time will come for the invaders. And as over 50% of conscripts from Donbas vassal states already died, there is no doubt Ukraine will retake all of Donbas. The Madrid conference leaves no doubt. Massive artillery and armor and missile systems will now arrive in Ukraine to render to the Russians the evil they did. It’ s already getting precarious for Russia as it clearly obliges Bielorussia to join its war of aggression, unable to handle things by itself. When that happens it will be the end of Lukashenko. His troops, once in Ukraine will massively desert or turn sides and ask for asylum and no doubt Ukranians will push back untill the fall of Minsk. An other scenario is that Poland will invade Bielorussia if Lukashenko invades Ukraine. Let him just try another dirty move, he will earn an uprising on top of all that. Bielorussia will be next EU candidate, just wait and see. History and geopolitical situation is presently changing at lightspeed, and Nato understands very well this is the moment to topple dictatorships, and break the agression power of Russia . This is the more important as after Russia’s collapse China dictatorship and tyranny n°1, will stand alone and will be obliged to abandon its dreams of conquest and expansion.
There’s the issue of money too. Money is being given, tied to results too? Ukraine feels a strong money pressure to report victories and it needs such reports to ask for more money. In terms of money, the West is basically being asked by Ukraine to put in all the money because they will put in all the men.
In Syria, Al Qaeda and Al Nusra were against Assad, and the West was against him too, without facing questions or explaining the horrible coincidence. Now they are like dancing with El Zelensky, with whom they essentially agree. Go figure. “There’s a worm on the wall.” “Es gibt einen Wurm an der Wand.”
That is all very funny, and perhaps quite insane, but I see kind of thing in the US specifically as well. They spread this as ‘the gospel’.
After the long haul, it seems Lisichansk is in the bag.
The footage from the liberated Lisichansk was published by Ramzan Kadyrov. The city is completely under the control of the Allied forces, a sweep is underway. Flags going up in center city.

The Russians essentially attacked the city from the rear. Classic operation into the depth of enemy.
There should be little resistance now to the Seversk-Bakhmut line.
And the Ukrops are such nasty, mean, petty vindictive, sore losers:
‼️💥During the flight, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a blow with “Tochka-U” at Lisichansk. The
Ukrainian invaders, leaving, leave not only mines. They destroy infrastructure. Today, after our forces entered Lisichansk, they hit the administration with a Tochka-U missile. But our fighters were not there, said Ramzan Kadyrov.
This is the whole essence of the tactics of the Nazi gangs. Leave behind as much destruction as possible, deprive cities and towns of infrastructure, and then blame Russia.

Alhamdulillah!!!
Allahu Aqbar!!!
Great news.
Congratulations to my Chechen brothers and Cossacks who bore the brunt of the fighting in that operational environment.
They have learned how to wrap up neo-nazis with one arm.
I am able to post again, which is also great news.
As per Herb, webmaster extraordinaire, there was an XXS script in one of the links, according to the “Wordfence” log, either from https://voenhronika.ru/ or https://m.vz.ru/ that triggered the “fence” at “Wordfence,” as I was replying to Russian Bear.
All is well that ends well…just in time for the celebration.
Now to the Artemivsk/Seversk line where the Wagner Orchestra has been playing magnificently.

“…Also, Snake Island has shown us that Pantsir and Tor are not totally invincible. They can put up a good fight but can be overwhelmed.
My bear showed up again last night. This is the one that looks like it has some Russian blood (dark brown fur rather than black). Hope it’s a good omen!”
———————————————————–
Any weapon can be overwhelmed, no doubt, we just don’t know in detail the circumstances. Ukronazis brought Monsieur CAESAR to Kubansky Island, and Tochka-U to the Odessa area, upping the ante and increasing the human and material cost in the defense of that worthless piece of rock. That was an advanced position with wide open flanks, and without Odessa in Russian control, it is not worth to fight for it.
The Russian justification for leaving, “a good will gesture” didn’t help the departure. It was seen as not quite accurate. Removed. Strelkov is not someone who is reliable or knows anything about military. Please don’t quote here. Stick to facts. Mod. but then Ukraine came with an even more laughable assertion, it is “too early” to set an outpost in Snake Island.
———————————————————–
Best take I have read on Serpentine Islands is from VZGLYAD, describing what I term a “castling” move made by the Russians as a trap for Ukraine Army Forces. It has military implications, but also political. By getting out of the island, Russia cannot be blamed anymore for the “food crisis,” the ball is in Ukraine’s court, they have to demine the area for the passage of merchant ships.
———————————————————————–
The battle goes on.
The LPR/DPR, have been fighting four months non-stop, it takes a toll, and contrary to the Russian troops, they have no replacements for rotation. I believe the waning we are seeing in the overall Donbass offensive is a reflection of that exhaustion. Battle fatigue is a serious issue, it is physical, but psychology plays a strong role in its inception. War is a shock to the senses, a kaleidoscope of mounting emotions in which self-preservation is at odds 24/7 with the tasks at hand.
Allied forces need to finish taking Donbass, and take a break.
The coming battle is going to be a hard one, Ukronazis have been fortifying the line Artemisk/Seversk for the last 8 years, dislodging them is not going to be easy. We certainly hope the Allies have a hidden card to play that would allow them to crash through neo-nazi defenses. So far the Allies have been advancing at lightning speed, but we can expect the Ukronazis are able to learn some, besides training for the next marathon.
As for the bear, that’s not only a good omen, that’s a gift and a blessing for you.
All you have to remember is, the bear is in his backyard, you happen to be trespassing his territory.
Do you know if the bear is male or female? Behavior is different. Are you providing cookies when they show up? Have to be ready, keep a good provision of cookies for them.

At some point in one of my comments on the campaign Severodonetsk/Lysichansk, I pointed out to a “finger” that was growing in the direction of Lysichansk’s rear, parallel to the Siverskyi Donets river, approx. between Toshkivka and Ustinivsky. I kept reporting on that “finger” as it was getting thicker with the falling of towns in the surrounding area. Then Zolote/Gorskoe fell into a cauldron, the “finger” turned into a “fist” that punched the rear of the occupation troops.
It was a masterstroke.
Diddle, diddle, right down in the middle…

Enjoy the celebration!
The 6th Cossack Regiment and the Chechen soldiers of the special police regiment named after Hero of Russia Akhmad-Khadzhi Kadyrov (Ramzan Kadyrov’s father) raised the Victory banner at the administration building, according to Readovka.
From a technical perspective: It was a hard fight. The strategic defensive position on the hilltop city of Lysychansk across the river from Severodonetsk could only be overcome by first a flanking movement and then a deep penetration into the enemy’s area of operations.
Zolote/Gorskoe formed the southern flank which in turn was flanked by Propasna. After this outermost flank, Propasna, fell the flanking movement expanded to take in the southern flank, Zolote/Gorskoe.
Once this pocket collapsed, Lysychansk was exposed, and the race was on. At the same time the northern flank on the Seversky Donets near Privolye was collapsed by Chechen forces who met up with the southern pincer.
There you have it.
You guys .. look for the clips where the Cossaks and Chechens are celebrating together.

Ukrainians are now sent to fight in the East without being made ready for the war. Someone reported above that even mercenaries are shocked by the level of fighting and artillery they face there. I watched the same artillery row show its firepower on youtube last year (still, I can’t even imagine). Zelensky remains far from it and adamant about sending more young men there. I don’t see Ukrainians complaining but they are.
“…He acknowledged that the relentless artillery shelling was “a challenge not everyone can cope with,” and added that some families had asked why their husbands and sons were being asked to deploy outside their home regions with no training. Efforts to move more territorial soldiers with limited training to the east have devastated some units.” -NYT (7/2/22)

One reason we know that Ukrainian Generals aren’t good enough and couldn’t even win the war with the best weapons is that they follow the transvestite dancer Zelensky. That reason alone is enough to know this. Another reason was pointed by a soldier in the NYT article linked above. He said there was “no clear reason” why they are sent to the East. In other words, there is no normal reason for being asked to just sit in a trench and get bombed to death. After all, it’s not target practice where targets have to be replaced after being shot down. As the article points out, these unready soldiers only have machine guns and mortars and no way to defend themselves against the heavy artillery. They are so bad that they even send them to the East with only two weeks of training.

Agree 100%.
And more, they should start targeting any and all political military installations supporting Ukraine’s war efforts, all government infrastructure, remaining airports, transportation, etc. Zelensky’s mafia will not understand until they have been hammered hard in a relentless shock and awe that Russia means business, and can bomb them back to the Stone Age if they continue playing with fire.

Are you subliminally suggesting Russia is holding back on military actions against Ukraine hoping they will “come to their senses” and call for negotiations? Or that Russia doesn’t want to decapitate the current puppet “government” because the replacement could be worse?
Your inference, translated into your headline “Russia is still waiting to negotiate with the US…,” contradicts the headline of the article, “West still betting on continuing war, not allowing Kiev to talk about peace.” Your not-so subliminal suggestion that Russia is “waiting” to negotiate with the US and Ukraine, is inaccurate, to say the least.
The tenor of the article is that Russia hopes the West will come to their senses, at some point, but for now, they are betting on continuing the war. Your “waiting” implies Russia’s military actions are tied up to an event the article clearly reports is not going to happen any time soon.
I’d suggest you stick to the facts, do not adulterate them with your choice of words.

My comment was about the quote. I quoted for him the last part of what he wrote. In full, he wrote:
“I wrote in the spring, and I will write now – strikes on the buildings of the Ministry of Defense, the SBU, the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv have been asking for a long time.”
The Ukrainian leadership itself, i.e., the Ministry of Defense, is not attacked because Russia’s government wants to negotiate with the Ukrainian government (when Ukraine is ready to, as Peskov indicated).
Lone Wolf: “Your ‘waiting’ implies Russia’s military actions are tied up to an event the article clearly reports is not going to happen any time soon.”
Right, I’ll quote you so it’s clearer. You wrote:
“And more, they should start targeting any and all political military installations supporting Ukraine’s war efforts, all government infrastructure, remaining airports, transportation, etc. Zelensky’s mafia will not understand until they have been hammered hard in a relentless shock and awe that Russia means business, and can bomb them back to the Stone Age if they continue playing with fire.”
Peskov: “Now the demand for initiatives to pacify the situation has declined. But we have no doubt that sooner or later common sense will prevail and once again the turn of negotiations will come.”
So, if they didn’t and don’t start targeting as you wish, there you have one clear and sufficient reason why not.
From Colonel Cassad, on the attack in Belgorod.

Bombardment of Belgorod
During the night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired multiple rocket launchers at Belgorod, Kursk and Melitopol. There are videos on the channel https://t.me/boris_rozhin
In Belgorod and Kursk, most of the missiles were shot down by air defense systems, but not all of them-in Belgorod, as a result of the arrivals, there are wounded and dead (information for 4-30 has not yet been confirmed). Several houses were damaged, one was destroyed. In some high-rise buildings, windows were broken. In Kursk, no arrivals were reported, everything seems to have been shot down there.
In Melitopol on the outskirts of several explosions. Most likely, the Uragan MLRS was used for shelling.
Thus, Ukraine marked its complete defeat in the battle for the LPR by launching traditional terrorist attacks.
From Belgorod, in response, they worked on Kharkiv – 5 Iskanders were released, 2 of which were included in one goal, Jokes for 300 about decision-making centers are attached.

Where are the red lines?
As a “goodwill gesture” in retribution for the latest Russian goodwill gestures, Ukraine attacked Belgorod in the middle of the night. Several buildings were destroyed. Preliminary information reports 5 dead, among the injured a child.
The reaction on Russian Telegram channels is one of unrestrained fury:
《The West is to blame for everything, but you can’t hit it – wrap yourself in a sheet and crawl to the cemetery, Russian.
There’s no logic to it at all: if you can’t kill Biden and Johnson, kill Zelensky and Tokayev! Hit the Western proxies, the Western puppet regimes! No way to chop off the West’s head – chop off its fingers and hands! But no, we don’t give in to provocations to the last Russian. 》
Igor Girkin “Strelkov” (the legendary Russian colonel directly responsible for the birth of the armed resistance in the Donbass), questions:
《”The “Ukrainian partners” continue to stubbornly search for “red lines. But so far they have only managed to get “specifically” to Belgorod and are probing Kursk (where two drones were shot down today). And the “red lines” (in all likelihood) are much further away – somewhere around Rublevka… well, or Gazprom’s gas distribution stations. 》
https://t.me/bulbe_de_trones/1139
In addition to calls to strike back by destroying the Command Centers in Kiev, there are also reflections on the unfolding of the war and its consequences:
《And there is nothing to stop the war now, except a complete victory of one of the sides. No truce, or even “peace” will stop Ukraine’s rearmament by NATO and its preparation for decisive self-destruction, possibly together with Russia. All this makes it inevitable to prepare for another type of war, the restructuring of Russia’s system of government from a purely comprador, colonial one, to a mobilization approach.
We just have to choose which one:
📍 Industrial, with the closed and totalitarian rigidity of the bureaucratic state, the restructuring of the economy for the needs of the front, with general mobilization and the transition to martial law, WWII style;
📍 or post-industrial, with the openness and flexibility of the “pirate” state, with the restructuring of the economy for the needs of PMCs, with the elimination of the bureaucracy, with open competition for budgets, with the opening of all elevators of vertical mobility through private campaigns (hacking, engineering, military, scientific – any).》

The good news: Its formal the LPR as a whole is liberated.
The overnight shelling into Russian territory – anger runs high in Russia among the people – they are enraged!
The immediate missile barrage into Karkov does not seem to be enough.
Get angry, but without losing your reason:
《Despite the apparent uselessness of the missile attacks on Belgorod, there is a very rational logic to them. Military decisions are not made based on emotions.
The rocket attacks on Russian cities have only one reasonable explanation – a study of Russia’s air defense system. It is of enormous intelligence interest to Western countries.
That is why the strikes were carried out in cities that are covered by the air defense system. Either way, the Americans will get valuable information. And all the responsibility falls on Ukraine. 》
https://t.me/Hard_Blog_Line/7818
《And all these mosquito bites are done just not to scare, but to anger the Russian people against the authorities, they say, it cannot protect them.
Some others write that this is being done so that mobilization will be announced in the Russian Federation and thus pit ordinary citizens against the authorities. It seems that this is the plan of the Anglo-Saxons.
We think we just need to strengthen the long-range air defense system, as the Israelis do while living with the Arabs.》

Get angry, but without losing your reason:
———————————————————
I don’t see Amarynth’s unreasonableness by reporting Russian people are enraged.
It is only human to express anger and indignation before any injustice, in this case Ukraine targeting Russian civilians, regardless of the “cerebral” reasons for such an action.
Russia’s air defense systems worked, the RF MoD reported,
——————————————————————————-
https://avia.pro/news/minoborony-rf-soobshchilo-o-tom-chto-vypushchennaya-po-belgorodu-raketa-byla-uspeshno-sbita
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the missile fired at Belgorod was successfully shot down
“Tonight, from three o’clock to three thirty Moscow time, the Kiev regime deliberately attacked Tochka-U ballistic missiles with cluster munitions and Tu-143 Reis drones on residential areas of Belgorod and Kursk, where there are no military facilities. Russian air defense systems destroyed all three Tochka-U ballistic missiles launched by Ukrainian nationalists at Belgorod with cluster warheads in the air. As a result of the defeat of Ukrainian missiles, the wreckage of one of them fell on a residential building in the city,” the operational report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation says.
——————————————————-
Nobody has yet created an air defense system that can shoot down cluster warheads after the missile has been hit, and that’s the modality Ukrainians have been using with Tochka-U missiles in Donetsk and surrounding areas. If the air defense system wouldn’t have worked, we would be talking about hundreds of casualties.
So, NATO is probing Russia’s air defense weaknesses by killing civilians.
Whoever does not express anger and indignation before such dastardly actions, has a head, but no heart.

Neither do I. I am referring to the reactions on Russian channels on Telegram.
The Ukrainian state has been hijacked by the US since the 2014 coup (the same has occurred with Brazil since 2016, albeit in a low-intensity mode).
Without a rescue of Ukrainian national sovereignty, there will be no peace.

Kharkiv, Kiev, Odessa, Dnepro, Lviv, Warsaw…ooops, I jumped borders.
Ukraine is desperately looking to cross a red line that would take the conflict out of the current boundaries. They just shelled Belarus, and erratic Lukashenka’s response made him look like a rational actor before crazy Ukraine. Five Iskanders, one per every victim in Belgorod, is too small a price for criminal Ukraine to pay.
It should be 500, and counting.
The barrage should be endless and relentless, IMHO.

I thought quite a while back, that Russia could announce that they are going to destroy the MoD in Kiev on a particular day, at a particular time. Then use a Kinzhal missile. I think the psychological effect of that would be devastating and probably save a lot of lives overall. Perhaps Russia would be concerned that the missile might miss by a bit, and destroy some non-military structure?

More questions from Paul Craig Roberts. Among other questions, why does Russia continue to sell oil/gas to Europe? I know, 95th dimensional chess, or perhaps, is it just stupid?
https://www.unz.com/proberts/the-kremlins-hesitancy-and-prevarication-is-a-road-to-war/
Roberts: “A clued-in government would simply say to the West, “thank you very much for repudiating our debt for us.”
He acknowledges that the creditors are not the same ones as the confiscators of Russia’s foreign reserves ($300 billion). Russia is acting fairly by not confiscating its creditors. It makes no sense to do the same to them.
Roberts: “One would think that if the Kremlin insisted on servicing Russia’s small foreign debt, the Kremlin would at least pay the interest out of its stolen foreign reserves, thus setting its creditors against the sanctions.”
Imagine if Russia – Putin – made it its goal to set the creditors against the sanctioners like that. It can be done, but the creditors would become mostly anti-Russian, right?
Roberts was not able to deal well with Covid by failing to make basic differentiations between vaccines, etc. He does not acknowledge that the Sputnik vaccine, and the Johnson vaccine, too, which uses the same vector as the first Sputnik dose, are better than the mRNA vaccines, but chose for his purpose to lump them together as “the vaccines.” This, too, is “criminal” disinformation though less criminal if the disinformation he calls criminal is criminal. The motive is not less base. Then he presented himself as knowing better how the SMO should have been done. Some of his readers are going with him. I became an ex-reader because reading him regularly meant going with him into a dumbing-down…ambush.
