The “Ceasefire”
One week ago I and many other analysts predicted that the ceasefire agreement brokered by the US and Russia last week was doomed to fail. I said this because of the fact that there are no “moderate” rebels, and that any group trying to disassociate itself from Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Jabhat Al-Nusra) would commit both political and military suicide. Right from the first day of the implementation, Western backed Jihadists and their allies declared that they would not take part in the cessation of hostilities, which really rendered the whole agreement useless since it became clear that they would use this opportunity to regroup and rearm.
This week long ceasefire was also supposed to allow for humanitarian aid to reach besieged areas such as East Aleppo which is currently under the control of Washington’s “moderate” rebels. Despite the Syrian Army withdrawing up to 1 km north of the imperative Castillo road leading into the eastern parts of Aleppo and handing over the control over the checkpoints in this area to Russian Marines and Syrian Red Crescent Society, the humanitarian aid destined for eastern Aleppo were severely delayed due to constant attacks on the Russian Marines by the Jihadists.[1] [2] In a video posted by RT on their Youtube page, one can clearly see the Russian personnel coming under attack by Jihadist fire, yet despite this, mainstream media in the West shamefully reported that the “Assad regime” were the ones who were guilty of both violating the ceasefire and disrupting the delivery of humanitarian aid. [3] [4]
The Jihadists and their supporters refused to allow for humanitarian aid to be delivered because they refused to acknowledge the ceasefire, instead claiming that both the ceasefire and the humanitarian aid being sent to them was part of a “UN conspiracy” and that they “refuse to accept this humiliating and pathetic aid”. In a video posted online, a rally takes place in eastern Aleppo where Jihadists and their supporters declare that they refuse to accept this “humiliating” aid in the name of the religion (of Islam). [5]
It should clearly be concluded then that these Jihadists and their supporters were not interested in any kind of reduced violence, not even for a week it would seem, with Jihadists clearly showing their intentions of using this ceasefire to break the siege of Aleppo by even attacking Russian Marines.
This ceasefire was doomed from the start because Washington will not and cannot separate any “moderates” from the rest of the Jihadists. In an Op-Ed posted on RT in June, experts agree that Washington has no control over its proxies in Syria, with Journalist Willy van Damme saying that Al-Nusra and “moderate rebels” have been cooperating for about five years fighting together against the Syrian government. “To think that they would split from Al-Nusra is dreaming,” he added.
In another video posted online last week, the “spiritual leader” of the Jihadist Jaysh Al-Fateh coalition Abullah Muhaysani, a renowned Saudi Wahhabi cleric who illegally entered Syria in 2013, declared that “the other factions’ [moderates] rejection of the ceasefire is not only a slap in the face of Kerry and Lavrov, but it is also a slap in the face of all those who are trying to incite the factions against each other”. He goes on to reiterate the unity among the plethora of Jihadist factions working together as one against a common enemy, the Syrian government. [6]
The US-led Coalition massacre of Syrian Army personnel
As if the rejection of the ceasefire and the blocking of humanitarian aid wasn’t proof enough that the ceasefire was doomed to fail, Washington also did its utmost to make sure that it didn’t by flagrantly attacking the Syrian Army in the besieged city of Deir Ezzor. Although I was shocked, I was not surprised to read on Saturday night that the US-led coalition had struck the Syrian Army with phosphorous bombs over the Jabal Al- Thardeh area in southwestern Deir Ezzor, killing at least 62 and injuring over 100 Syrian Army soldiers.
Washington being used to dishonesty, immediately tried to put the blame first on Russia with the Pentagon claiming that they had informed Russian of the upcoming strike and that he bombardment only concluded when Russia had told Washington that it was possibly targeting the Syrian Army and not the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). Some hours later Russia flatly denied the earlier CENTCOM press release claim of Russian knowledge about the bombardment beforehand with Major General Igor Konashenkov of the Russian Defense Ministry adding that “If the airstrike was caused by the wrong coordinates of targets then it’s a direct consequence of the stubborn unwillingness of the American side to coordinate with Russia in its actions against terrorist groups in Syria”. [7]
Russia, furious with the Americans, immediately summoned the UN Security Council for an emergency meeting on the matter with the Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova being blasting Washington as she said that “If previously we had suspicions that Al-Nusra Front is protected this way, now, after today’s airstrikes on the Syrian army we come to a really terrifying conclusion for the entire world: The White House is defending IS [Islamic State, formerly ISIS/ISIL]”
“We demand a full and detailed explanation from Washington. That explanation must be given at the UN Security Council,” Zakharova added.[8]
But there was no explanation from Washington. Instead, Washington offered us the despicable US ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power. Instead of explaining the actions of the US-led coalition’s massacre of Syrian Army soldiers, she walked out of Russian UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin’s speech and later on went on to address reporters with nonsense about “the crimes of the Assad Regime and Russia”. She even mocked the Russians decision to call for an emergency meeting, calling it a “stunt”. [9]
“It is clear that the United States must come up with some very serious actions. What actions, I can not say now, but what I saw today, unfortunately, was very concerning, as my American colleague Samantha Power behaved very strange at the least,” – said Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Churkin about the results of the consultations of the Security Council.[10]
Churkin was correct to say that “in all my years in the United Nations, that is over 10 years, and all my years in international life, which is over 40 years, I have never seen such an extraordinary display of American heavy-handedness as we have seen today”.
And I understand him. One look at Samantha Power is enough to understand that she is mentally deranged. Her behaviour was shameful for a representative of a leading country at the highest international body, behaving as a teenager that has just been dragged out of bed with a hangover.
If it wasn’t clear before this incident, it should be clear by now that Washington cannot be trusted, ever. Moscow should now understand that it can never reach a deal with Washington that will hold, because Washington is only interested in weakening Syria as much as possible, and will go to lengths unimaginable to achieve it, one way or another.
It therefore comes as no surprise that according to an Iranian military source, ISIL launched an offensive on the Jabal Al- Thardeh area just 7 minutes after the US led airstrikes, who added that that the air and ground assault were highly coordinated. Initially ISIL captured the Jabal Al-Thardeh area but were later repelled after a Syrian Army counterattack backed by Russian airstrikes, that same night. The source said the simultaneous raid of the ISIL terrorists immediately after the coalition airstrikes is the best evidence of the high coordination done between the US and the terrorists.[11]
In Iran’s view, this flagrant attack on Syrian Army personnel violated the truce; “We strongly denounce the US measures, and do not believe that it was a military mistake,” said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iranian Parliamentary Director General for International Affairs on Sunday during a meeting with Syria’s Ambassador to Tehran, Adnan Hassan Mahmoud.“Attacking an army which is battling terrorism means backstabbing and helping Daesh,” he added.
Iran reiterated its support for Syria on Monday when deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari travelled to Damascus to meet with Syrian officials. “Iran is determined to provide Syria all the possible facilities in its fateful fight against terrorism,” Jaberi Ansari said in a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad. He added that “strategic and one-of-a-kind” relations between Iran and Syria go beyond the two nations’ interests and are based on common views and understanding of the threats facing all regional nations such as terrorism and extremism.[12]
One can conclude that the attack on the Syrian Army by the US-led coalition was indeed intentional, which leaves us with the question of why they would do such a thing? A quick look at a map of who controls what in the Deir Ezzor province gives us a clue. The province of Deir Ezzor in southeastern Syria (see map below) is mostly controlled by the ISIL terrorist group except for parts of the city of Deir Ezzor that has been under siege for years now, with ISIL facing stiff resistance from the Syrian Army comprised of the heroic 104th Brigade of the Republican Guard, led by the iconic Druze Major General Issam Zahreddine and the 137th Artillery Brigade. To the northeastern part of the province, there is a Kurdish/FSA presence as a result of the US-backed Kurdish-led “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) largely expelling ISIL from the neighbouring Al-Hasakah province earlier this year.
SDF has since made their intentions publicly clear that they intend to advance on both the province and city of Deir Ezzor. This is something that Washington sees as an opportunity to carve up the country in order to achieve its ultimate goal; to separate Syria from Iran indefinitely. Washington has previously made it clear that if it cannot achieve its plan A; regime change, it will go for its plan B; to balkanize the country and help to create a Kurdish and/or Sunni state in eastern Syria. Achieving this will “isolate” the Syrian government and its Lebanese allies Hezbollah from Iran, thus protecting Israel, Washington’s main imperial ally in the region.
Attacking the Syrian Army, and allowing ISIL to capture the city will make Deir Ezzor a probable target for the US-backed proxies to attack and annex. It does not matter for Washington if 100 000 civilians are trapped along with the Syrian Army personnel stationed there, and that they will meet a fate far worse than anyone of us can imagine if the city falls into terrorist hands, as long as Washington achieves its goals, it is content with whatever price the Syrian people must pay for Washington’s imperial ambitions.
What happens now?
The Syrian Arab Army’s High Command announced on Monday that the nationwide ceasefire is over after a 7-day period. “Rebel forces committed more than 300 violations by targeting residents and the Syrian military around the country,” the High Command added. Several civilians and military personnel were killed as a result of these ceasefire violations committed by the Jihadist forces. The High command also declared that Jihadist groups had taken advantage of the ceasefire to regroup and attack Syrian military positions, while the Army had done its utmost to implement the truce with the highest degree of professionalism, but that ultimately it had to respond to the provocations against the Syrian Armed Forces.[13]
As soon as the ceasefire expired at 7 pm Damascus time yesterday, fighting began to rage on in the Aleppo, Hama and Damascus provinces, with both the Syrian Army and the Jihadist groups launching offensives on different fronts. The Russian Air Force also began targeting Jihadists in Aleppo who led by Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham were trying to launch a new offensive. Meanwhile on Monday, new accusations were made by Washington and its vassals against Russia and Syria, claiming that they had struck a UN aid convoy heading for Aleppo City, an incident that the Russian Foreign Ministry dismissed as an attempt to distract attention from the US-led coalition’s bombardment of the Syrian troops on September 17. [14] “We are considering, with resentment and indignation, attempts by some foreign curators of rebel units and terrorists in Syria to put the blame for the incident on the Russian and Syrian Aerospace Forces who allegedly bombarded a relief convoy,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
“Such attempts, which are unconfirmed by any facts, are designed, among other things, to distract attention from a strange ‘error’ made by pilots of the US-led anti-ISIS coalition on September 17 when its planes bombed the Syrian government troops positions near Deir ez-Zor,” the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
In fact, it has been established that this was not even a UN aid convoy that had been attacked, but rather it was a Syrian Red Crescent convoy that was attempting to deliver weapons to the Jihadists. The humanitarian convoy that was attacked on Monday in the Syrian province of Aleppo was followed by a militant group’s pickup truck carrying a large-caliber mortar launcher, the Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.
“Analysis of video records from drones of yesterday’s movement of the humanitarian convoy across Aleppo’s territories controlled by militants has revealed new details. It is clearly seen in the video that a terrorists’ pickup truck with a towed large-caliber mortar is moving along with the convoy,” he said.[15] I am in agreement with the Russian Foreign Ministry in their analysis over the situation. It is clear that these accusations are intended to lay the blame for the failure of the ceasefire on Russia and the Syrian government, and try to divert attention from their own crimes in Deir Ezzor last week. It therefore comes as no surprise that a senior Obama administration official speaking to reporters on condition of anonymity said that “We don’t know if it can be salvaged,” when speaking of the collapsing ceasefire. “At this point the Russians have to demonstrate very quickly their seriousness of purpose because otherwise there will be nothing to extend and nothing to salvage,” he added.
Washington was never interested in a ceasefire, rather it wanted to give its Jihadist proxies time to regroup and regain their strength after a month of hammering by the Syrian Army, especially in Aleppo. During this entire week, Washington and the Western mainstream media have been looking for excuses to lay the blame on Russia and the Syrian government for the failure to implement the ceasefire. From an Iranian point of view (and my own), these ceasefires have always been useless because Iran has always maintained that Washington can never be trusted. Instead of benefitting the Syrian Army and its allies, the ceasefires have served to not only benefit the Jihadists, but also to sow discord between Russia and Iran who on several occasions have made it clear that Moscow’s constant faith in Washington and Secretary Kerry endangers the war effort against terrorism.
It remains to be seen now what will happen with this ceasefire agreement, but from the looks of it, it is all but over as the Syrian Army and its allies have restarted their operations across the country. Hopefully, Moscow have proved once and for all that there is no way to separate any “moderate opposition” from Jihadist rebels and that they must now all be deemed as legitimate targets for aerial bombardment. Moscow must hold nothing back and coordinate more than ever with its Syrian and Iranian allies on the ground in order to defeat this terrorist plague that has been wreaking havoc in Syria for almost six years now.

Which is the Real Threat? Iranian Nuclear Program Versus Israel’s 200 Nukes
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160921/1045551459/tehran-israel-nuclear-weapons.html
“While Israel doesn’t confirm nor deny the alleged existence of its nuclear arsenal, one of Colin Powell’s recently leaked emails suggests that Tel Aviv does possess 200 nuclear warheads “all targeted at Tehran”.
These revelations cast a new light on Israel’s vehement opposition to the nuclear deal reached between the P5+1 group and Iran in July 2015.
Furthermore, Sabbah Zanganeh, Iranian political analyst and Middle Eastern affairs expert, told Sputnik Persian that the existence of the Israeli nuclear arsenal is one of the chief factors contributing to the tensions in the region.
“This is all part of the US double standards policy. The Americans are well-aware of the fact that the Iranian nuclear program always was and still is peaceful in nature and poses no threat to any nation or country. The US also knows that Iran opposes nuclear weapons, and not just for moral or humanitarian reasons, but first and foremost due to its religious beliefs. Iran rejects weapons of mass destruction of any kind,” Zanganeh said.
On the other hand, he argued, Israel, which enjoys absolute US support, constantly threatens other countries in the region, provoking military conflicts and instigating wars against Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine.
“By threatening us, Israel shows the world the nature of its regime – a policy of terror and threats against the other nations in the region, backed by the ownership of powerful nuclear weapons of mass destruction. Obviously, other countries in the region are concerned about this issue,” Zanganeh explained.
He also added that while international law condemns any regime that resorts to threats and attempts to build up its nuclear arsenal, in reality this isn’t always the case.
“No country in the region can consider this situation satisfactory. In any case, granting absolute support to Israel – in terms of ideological solidarity with its policy of terror and threats, by providing financial assistance and weapons technology, and aiding in specific activity – makes the United States an accomplice. Therefore, the US must also bear full responsibility for the situation at hand,” Zanganeh concluded”
No! You cannot make such genocidal statements.
I know Israelis from meetings I have been at.
They are victims of history and of the globalist bankers just like everyone else.
Divida et Impera is the way the super-rich rule.
Existential pressure on Israel, with the Holocaust still within living memory is like ripping open a wound on a tiger. Madness.
Putin and Netanyahu seem to be talking a lot these days.
I’m sure Bibi knows that if he ever launches any of those 200 Colin Powell confirmed nukes, that his nation will be nuclear toast. VVP surely would have made that clear.
But then so would we all be nuclear toast, as the USA would probably launch a counter-attack against Russia for defending Iran from Israel.
Victory is in the slow grind against the jihadis.
Pray for victory and peace.
When the globalists’ banking system implodes – as it surely will – as long as a hot WW-III can be avoided.
Then there will be an accounting for sins.
And 21st century versions of Nuremberg trials and South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
The Truth wins out in the end.
Just a long time coming…
Patience.
Despite the mayhem inflicted by the Empire of Chaos.
VVP impresses with his immeasurable patience and steely resolve.
But then I’ve been reading the extra-terrestrial dimension to this hybrid WW-III.
There is evidence worth being open-minded about that Putin has reasons for confidence.

Lol. Israel is responsible for the War on Terra. For example, the break-up of Syria is a key requirement of Israel’s Oded Yinon plan. There is no Al Qaeda, Al Nusra nor ISIS; just Zionist proxy forces. Time for ye to wake-up.
Btw, there is no point in brining the Holocaust into this discussion — it is not a subject for historical enquiry. By law.
The holocaust is a fraudulent lie. You must be a Jew or a Jewish sympathiser. Israel is an illegal entity and uses anyone gullible enough, like you, to abuse everyone else.
Israel is practicing genocide on the Palestinians. It has no right to exist. It is run by racial supremacists no different to Saudi Arabia.
You are a fool.
These two posts are getting overheated. One, in its desperation, appeals to extra-terrestrial forces (though not to God) and the other veers in its passion into ad hominem attacks. I appeal to both posters to show a little more restraint and aim for a peaceful solution to perhaps not-so-radical differences. – mod fk
Franz,
Thanks for your moderating comments.
I am not condoning Israeli actions at all.
The evidence that for 9/11 the Israeli deep state conspired with the US deep state/globalist bankster cabal and Saudi Arabian deep state is all over the internet.
Saker has given a good summary of this just recently.
There is an obvious motive – all countries attacked and destroyed or attempted to be destroyed (bar Iran thus far) are/were common enemies/threats to those 3.
Hence General Wesley Clark’s leak about the Pentagon plan to “take out” 7 nations, that he claims he was shown soon after 9/11.
But I’m talking about Israeli people I’ve met, who I count as friends and colleagues.
They are victims of this situation as well. They certainly believe the Holocaust.
So do I, having visited the Dachau concentration camp many years ago.
The Holocaust is being used by Israel as a shield to avoid facing scrutiny for its contemporary crimes.
But to go to the extent of Holocaust denial is wrong and abhorent, even if there was exaggeration in the numbers.
My uncle was witness (as a local Polish lad) to the long lines of Jews and others being marched past his farm towards a death camp.
It seems any of us living in the 5 eyes countries have to come to grips with the very disturbing fact that our countries’ “deep states” appear to be at some level supporters of terrorism – despite our genuine military and intelligence services acting in anti-terrorist fashion – does not make us complicit, except in the general apathy or ignorance of many of our compatriots. Same goes for Israelis.
As for the ET issue – look into it for yourself. The amount of evidence is surprising. The issue is also quite compatible with God and Christianity. Consider what exactly was it that scripture writers refer to as the demonic and angelic, and the heavens? – in an era where they had no concept that there were other physical planets like Earth, and believed in a geocentric tiny Universe. What they referred to were likely ET origin. At higher levels of a civilisation’s spiritual development there is claimed to be a closer correlation with heavenly realms – “Thy Kingdom come as it is on Earth” has already occurred to such planets. There certainly appear to be advanced angelic like ETs closer in harmony and direct communication with God. Then there are the dark side ones – which according to the evidence (see videos above) were in league with the Nazis and are associated with the Bohemian Grove type satanic rituals stuff of some of the human elites that at first glance appears ludicrous – but there is evidence this is the world we inhabit.
I can understand why people don’t want to go there. Neither did I until I came across the compelling accounts of military officers, pilots, FAA investigators, astronauts, cosmonauts – all saying the ET aspect is real and it is the most top secret issue on our planet.
e.g. just a small part of the evidence:

As Michael Salla – who has a PhD and had an associate professorship in international politics at Princeton (until he was ousted from his job for attempting to bring Steven Greer to speak on campus about the Disclosure Project) – has said – we need to think 3D about this hybrid WW-III. The war is in the Heavens/skies/solar system as well.
There is no point in mentioning the Holocaust as part of a factual discussion — tis a religion now. So leave the believers to their beliefs; we’ll stick with the facts.
To lighten the mood here, let me tell you what i thought back in the 90s.
When I began to think about Israel’s ‘so called A bombs’, I thought what if Israel’s nuclear weapons are like everything else Israeli.
What if Mordechai Vananu is just a Mossad agent in charge of scaring the world into thinking that Israel has hundreds of nuclear weapons. And after a feigned flight from the Land of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when he told the world about Tel Aviv’s arsenal. He was ‘caught’ by the Mossad in Italy after he sthooped a few Italian models and drank good champaigne.
There was a mock trial in Israel to reinforce what Vanunu said that he had seen.
He was sent to prison for revealing make-believe weapons. They took him in the prison’s front door and immediately took him out back door to his private kibbutz where he grows his prize roses. Nuf said.
I also remember googling Dimona and reading that there were US military men there 24/7. 25 years later, google has buried that article in the results between 65,000 and 75,000. I just don’t have the time to look for it.
@BTS
Excellent observations, even the Collin Powell leak seems to be deliberate disinfo designed to reinforce certain views. I doubt Israel has 200 strategic weapons, they may have a few (10s or less), but not that many. This is just based in their tiny industrial capacity and the small fissile material production capacity they posses at dimona. This seems to more a: “my stick is bigger than your stick” childish egotism that you’d expect from arrogant megalomaniacs like Netanyahooo.
I can see the very shrewd and cunning Iranian leadership rolling their eyes at the very obvious disinfo that each and everyone of those warheads are aimed at Iran – pure nonsense and what a BS and convenient leak; I don’t see the Iranians believe it or are the slight bit intimidated by it. They can see disinfo for what it is (like carter blurting out that Israel had 100 nukes in a speech he gave a few years back.)
Calm down, PfO
I am not advocating genociding your people. I mean’t liquidating the state of israel, this does not mean liquidating the life forms living there. Though I think a large number of the Jewish people there need to face justice, a very harsh, unforgiving justice, along with their sayanim and sabbat goy toys outside of israel.
Well that is somewhat more reassuring Anonymous, but you should make yourself clearer in the first place.
I am not Jewish and have no Jewish heritage I know of.
I meet people from all over the world, including Israel.
I’ve had many conversations about geopolitics, history etc with people who have similar interests.
My experience is the average Israeli grows up with a siege mentality.
That is just a sad reality. I have some sympathy for them.
Similar goes for Palestinians I’ve met, and my greater sympathies are with them.
I see no solution arising to the Israeli/Palestinian situation in the near future.
Best is to minimise risk of further war/massacres.
And hope in time Syria is liberated and stabilised, a multipolar world emerges and this has a flow on effect to Israel/Palestine that is somehow positive.
And just to mention ETs – as it is a real and central issue – if there is major disclosure of this reality it will certainly take the wind out of the sails of all fundamentalist religious groups of whatever faith. They will lose their beliefs they have an exclusive monopoly on the truth about God, the Universe and moral codes. Materialism will have to concede to Consciousness as primary too. That may be what is necessary for true global peace. My reading of the ET material is it supports a cosmic Christ perspective. BERLIN, September 21. /TASS/. The attack on a humanitarian convoy near Syria’s Aleppo could work in terrorists’ favor, former chairman of the NATO Military Committee Harald Kujat told Germany’s N-TV channel on Wednesday.

Lavrov rejects claims that aid convoy was hit by Syrian Air Force
Kujat, who also served as Chief of Staff of the German armed forces, the Bundeswehr, said there is no evidence for shifting the blame for the incident on any party to the Syrian conflict.
“I cannot imagine that Russia wanted to torpedo its agreements with the United States by this attack,” Kujat said, adding that he did not believe that “Syria’s authorities would bomb a convoy of the Syrian humanitarian organization, the Syrian Red Crescent.”
“So we have only terrorists who absolutely do not want the US and Russia to unite their military efforts in line with the agreements and act together against them,” the former NATO official said.

UNITED NATIONS, September 21 /TASS/. Russia insists on thorough and impartial investigation into the aid convoy attack near Aleppo, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council devoted to the Middle East on Wednesday.
“Another unacceptable provocation took place on September 19. A humanitarian convoy came under shelling in Aleppo. The rebels managed to advance into quarter 1070,” the Russian foreign minister stressed.
“I am convinced that such coincidences require a serious analysis and investigation. We insist on thorough and impartial investigation on the attack on the relief convoy,” Lavrov said.

US coalition Predator drone spotted at time & place of Syria aid convoy attack – Russian military
The Russian defense ministry says that a US coalition drone was in the vicinity of the humanitarian convoy when it was attacked outside Aleppo. According to the Russian military, the unmanned device was a Predator drone.
“On the evening of September 19, in that specific region, a drone belonging to the international condition, which had taken off from the Incirlik air base in Turkey, was flying at a height of 3,600 meters and traveling at around 200 kilometers per hour,” said Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
“The object was in the area around the town of Urm Al-Kubra, where the convoy was a few minutes before it caught fire,” Konashenkov added. “It left after about 30 minutes.”
https://www.rt.com/news/360165-us-drone-syria-russia/
So one wonders if this drone was monitoring, or recon on behalf of who,is all hugs and kisses with Turkey and usa , working together again, can Russia determine by its radio frequencies who was operating it.then if any corresponding onward co munication to whoever….it can carry two hellfire missiles…..implication is not being operated by Turkey but did it or do drones need permission through the coordination centre probably not…..
that’s a long flight for a missile.
When you dance with the devil you can expect to get burned. When you allow the devil into your country and fail to demand he leave you get what you deserve. How many burned and charred victims will it take to realize that the devil is in the business of death by fire?
But no, we insist that the devil is not the devil, evil is not evil and reality is not reality. Sooner or later reality will come stepping in, and step all over our illusions and self-deception. “You know Satan sometimes comes as a man of peace.”
The Chamberlain waltz on the Titanic for peace in our time has run its course right into the icy waters of regret; but oh, the death we want to forget is what we ourselves will get.
I believe Russia knew perfectly well everything that all the analysts are now claiming they’ve been proven right on.
But to say that the the US will “never” anything is the height of irresponsibility, and I’m glad for the peace of the world that Russia doesn’t believe this. Nothing is permanent, everything and everyone is potentially changeable. Russia doesn’t know what it takes to change the US, no one knows. But each failure of the US to come to terms is another nail in its coffin. Russia, and its allies, lose nothing compared to what the US gives away every time it loses one of these rounds of fighting with Russia.
If Iran is dissatisfied with Russia’s overtures to the US, then it fails to analyze the situation correctly. It will be Russia, not Iran, that must fight the US if all else fails. And it will be Russia that comes to Iran’s aid if the US and Israel put their old dream of attack into play.
It is not from naivety that Russia continues to attempt to form agreements with the US. It is from great strength, and a superior ability to fight. There is much method to this, and it would take a separate essay just to list the benefits of these actions. But we see the results in an ever weakening US – in effect, a changing US – and an ever strengthening Russia, and in fact the entire multi-polar world.
Patience. Patience is an action, one of the hardest there is to perform. It requires the willed act to remember what you’re doing every moment. The most heartening thing for all of us in the oppressed nations of both the west and the east is that Russia possesses patience, and knows how to use it to fight to win.
God bless you, Grieved. Finally someone says what has been on my mind all this time. Our analysts speak from desperation, one understands. But to say that we here are better strategists than all the might of Russia is just preposterous. To think that irrational U.S. actions take Russia by surprise is nonsense. Our analysts should focus instead on finding out what you mention, the benefits of Russia’s strategic patience, not only a great virtue, but perhaps the most intelligent action upon the battlefield. Look at Russia’s reaction to U.S. travesty in Syria: questioning. No belligerence. No threatening. Just questioning. I do not understand how our analysts here cannot see, or perhaps do not want to see, how much the U.S. has just lost diplomatically and geopolitically. The shameful participation at the UNSC of that Samantha Power person has shattered what little diplomatic credence the U.S. had left. Russia, clearly, is not focusing upon the U.S. means to fight. Instead, it is focusing upon neutralizing and deconstructing its political will to fight. Just the way Sun Tzu recommended. So hopefully you will find some time to explain more of this and enlighten us who are keen to learn. Thanks!
I think that as long as Israel’s butt is covered by the US, there is no way that Israel will change course. It is Israel, first and foremost, that must stop exerting violence in order to bring peace to the middle east.
During Vitaly Churkin’s speach, I noted that he is deeply upset. Not in an angry teenager style as Samantha Power, but likely because his secret hopes for an appeasement were shattered before his eyes that night. Still, I am not sure if Russia’s leadership finally puts up with the fact that ceasefire agreements will fail like domino bricks.
To get out of this mess, I suggest to consider the following actions:
1. Publish in full all signed agreements with the US and NATO regarding Syria. Make sure that they are publicized widely, such that everyone can read them and decide who followed suit and who broke them.
2. Green-light the Syrian government to declare a no-fly zone over the entire Syrian territory. To be enforced without further warning and pardon by Syria and its allies against all military airplanes whose pilots did not personally ask for and get approval of their flight route and target by the joint military command of Syria, Russia and Iran.
This no-fly zone would in fact establish a non-interference zone and brute-force all non-allied actors in Syria to coordinate with the joint military command. I guess it would result in shooting down a dozen foreign fighter planes to achieve this goal.
3. Blast every warring opposition until they put weapons down and reintegrate into civil society or exit Syrian territory. While ceasefire agreements can be negotiated in the meantime, they should only come into effect once the territory is fully controlled by the government.
4. Go in earnest after all financiers and commanders of World War III. Soros is but a start. Many years of jail time plus billions of damage compensation shall serve him well. His entire property including gifts/heritage should be seized and used to cover part of the damages he caused. The seizure of all his wealth would warrant that nobody could continue his dirty business.
5. Stay clear of Israel. Dealing with its government and/or agencies is like addicted gambling in the casino: you are going to loose for sure.
Kind regards,
Marcel
Well said. These wars in the Middle East are all being fought on behalf of Israel. Zionism is the real problem.
Grieved, rating from me: +1000
VVP leaned towards him and looked straight into Charlie Rose’s eyes, and said, “We know everything.” When that kung fu brain shares such a simple statement, his opponents should pay attention.
When action is required, really required, and the time is right, the opponent will not see it coming.
Nor will we.
Grieved,
You have hit upon Americans’ greatest weakness. We have no patience. We are intemperate. We Americans want instant solutions to any problem or issue. It is the fast pace of technology and innovation and the eschewing of using the power of Time as ally. Americans hate to waste a minute. Pace is a virtue. So, we do not contemplate or plan far ahead. Just Do It! a motto and an primary trait.
For other civilizations and societies, Americans are easy to deal with. Wait them out. They will go first, fall for traps, expose their plan, get discouraged, blunder, lose patience.
The Hegemon is fully engaged around the globe, all actions turning out negatively for the beast.
Syria has been the most disheartening. It is a massive war against an orderly civil and secular society brought to the brink of utter collapse until Russia stepped in to reverse the tide. However, the myriad players—nation-states and covert agencies, numerous militaries and enormous hubris of the geopolitical leaders with stakes in the outcome have made this war the most unique of our lifetime.
The outcome is assured. Syria will be saved. Russia will be a permanent player in the region. And the Hegemon will have lost much status and influence to Russia, China and Iran.
Look at the US/Hegemon in the last few months. Turkey coup—failed because it lacked patience to do it correctly. Next, it could have gained great influence in the “transition” diplomacy of the ceasefire. But it could not stop itself from chaos-making and trying to alter the facts on the ground as it has several other ceasefires and agreements before.
Kinetic power is addictive to the Hegemon. Everywhere, it threatens and uses it.
Nowhere does it practice patience. Thus, its diplomacy is flawed. And its goals are never achieved.
And now, it has lost its consent from the people of America. The Hegemon is acting as a world terror without a nation behind it. The government at home is a tyranny, lying and corrupted. It cannot conceal its total amorality and deviance from any good value or quality or hope.
What Grieved says above can’t be better put.
Kerry was disauthorized by his country’s military absurd CoH violation, ultimately, he comes around blatantly lying through his teeth looking in Lavrov’s eyes on main stage. Both facts are terribly significant.
Syria carries us in its course, be their leadership imbued with the rationality the situation imposes. The solid ground is theirs. Here’s to their judgement too.
@ Greived
I think as you say, Russia will continue to play the smart game.
at the moment Russia have been able to put the US in a position where it had to either back off or throw away its fig.leaf. With the actions at Deir Ezzor and Samatha Powers performance at the UN, the US has thrown away its fig leaf and is continuing to move forward with its plan. Samantha Powers is the US ambassador to the world, the face of the US to the world. Russia is dealing with a truly crazy country that is willing to detonate a suicide bomb. I hope they can pull it off, but it looks a nearly impossible game at this point. The US has total control over its vassals as evidenced by Australia, Denmark and others all chiming in to say me too, to the Deir Ezzor attack, even though they had been accused of nothing. That is the truly scary part.
Thank you. We all needed reminding about this. While the whole situation is extremely irritating, and is stretching everyone’s patience, it is Russia we have to rely on to help the world move on, in tact. What a big ask. But the Russians are doing it with such maturity, intelligence and grace, compared to their Western partners. More people hopefully, are becoming aware that the US has a lot of blood on its hands, even though it continually plays the neo con game of absolving themselves from responsibility and blaming others ie Russia, for their treacherous acts. The Western propaganda, puppet, press plays the game well for them and should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Well done Russia. Absolutely with you 100%.

A great comment on Russia Insider:
from Dot (poster’s name):
“America holds the world hostage with threats of a nuclear first strike. Putin is the negotiator trying to reason with the American lunatic to free the hostages, unharmed.
A negotiator can’t be confrontational with a lunatic while their hand is on the trigger. Negotiators must be cooperative, order pizza and coke for everyone, and even pretend to be sympathetic towards the lunatic until the time arrives when the lunatic can be fully neutralized with 3 or more simultaneous sniper shots to the brain.
Shall I repeat?, “Putin is dealing with lunatics and knows it.” ”

US Attack in Syria Opens Disturbing and Unpredictable Scenarios. The Danger of “Direct Military Confrontation” between US-NATO and Russia
http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-attack-in-syria-opens-disturbing-and-unpredictable-scenarios-the-danger-of-direct-military-confrontation-between-us-nato-and-russia/5546975
That article on globalresearch is very good, thanks for the link
my military guru sends few items rarely but received this one yesterday:
“The game of massive deception and duplicity that US is playing in Syria is very clear and the Russians are furious. 7 Russian soldiers were killed in those air strikes too. This is playing with fire. Dangerous times.”
Wheels within wheels
The US airstrike in Deir el-Zour was intentional and meant to de-rail the ceasefire. It appears to have been carried out by another faction within the american deep state. Reference the words of the russian ambassador Vitaly Churkin ‘who is in charge in washington … the white house or the pentagon’. Just to propose an alternative theory could this have been done by the pentagon to ensure that hillary and obama do not have a diplomatic success prior to the election … thus helping trump. Its odd how every week new releases of email and facts about the clinton foundation appear. Hillary is falling in the polls and the watergate ‘drip … drip .. drip’ method of information release appears to be at work. What I am suggesting is that there is a fierce fight taking place between factions within the deep state and all we see are the outward results.
So you think that there is a possibility that the US military (Pentagon) is sabotaging the Clinton campaign to avoid a possible nuclear confrontation with the US ?
I really wonder if there are any sane people in the US within the chain of command…..
“sabotaging the Clinton campaign”, or sustaining the option of Clinton escalation?
http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/09/20/rogue-mission-did-the-pentagon-bomb-syrian-army-to-kill-ceasefire-deal/
“A rift between the Pentagon and the White House turned into open rebellion….Saturday’s bloodletting strongly suggests that a mutiny is brewing at the War Department.”
there’s an assumption on this site that the “deep state” is in control. numerous clues indicate the “deep state” is split : articles by Kissinger, Leslie Gelb, Z Brzezinski; statement by Pentagon consultant Jim Rickards.
there’s more: US support of ISIS is exploitative, situationist, and conditional. ISIS of course knows this, and has strategic plans to morph and transfer. ISIS is a non-state ideology and power, and as such a conditionally available mercenary force against nationalism. we already know that when the State loses legitimacy, the fallback for society is religion.

(Sept 12)
The question is who is now in control of the US military (including the nuclear forces) ?
Are they the ones who want to escalate with Russia or are those people outside of the pentagon ?
Or are they all brainwashed and corrupt, at all levels of the chain of command ?
No mention of israel or their increased provocations during the ceasefire and the Russian-american negotiations that preceded it. These israeli provocations are what set the pace for the terrorist and pindo/nato provocations. It is tel aviv making policy against Syria, the usa and the rest of the nato quislings impliment it as instructed.
The US secretary noted that the existing Geneva plan to settle the Syrian crisis is “far from perfect,” but there is no alternative to it at present.
Members of the opposition in Syria should cooperate and abide by the ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States and Russia, US Secretary of State John Kerry said. “I call on all members of the opposition to cooperate and revive this [Syria] plan,” Kerry stated. © SPUTNIK/ DMITRIY VINOGRADOV
All aircraft should stop flying in “key” areas in Syria to restore credibility of the ceasefire agreement after the attack on a humanitarian convoy on Monday, US Secretary of State John Kerry said. “To restore credibility to the process, we must move forward to try to immediately ground all aircraft flying in those key areas in order to deescalate the situation and give a chance for humanitarian assistance to flow unimpeded,” Kerry stated. The US state secretary also suggested that Syrian forces should be banned from flying over opposition-controlled areas. The violations of the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria underscore that parties to the deal cannot continue to do business as usual, US Secretary of State John Kerry said. “We just can’t do business as usual,” Kerry stated. “We can’t walk out of this room and continue to say we’ll have a ceasefire that everybody knows won’t work.” 137 … 314

no fly zones—rus and Syria bombed the heck out of Isis when they were taking advantage of the coalition attack on Syrian forces that had broken the ceasefire arrangements…….., so what would have happened then………..what is a key area , includes Golan Heights and Israeli planes, just protecting al-nusrah again?
US-Led coalition’s airstrikes on Syrian Army positions in Deir ez-Zor are nothing but flagrant violation of Syrian Ceasefire, Russian Foreign Minsiter Sergei Lavrov said during the UN Security Council meeting.
“The [US-led] coalition’s airstrikes on the government forces in Deir ez-Zor on September 16 are a flagrant violation of the cessation of hostilities [in Syria],” Sergei Lavrov said. “Immediately after these airstrikes Daesh terrorists started to attack the Syrian army.”

It needs to be thrown back in Kerry’s face that “air strikes” didn’t attack the convoy. So using the convoy as an excuse for no fly zones is not acceptable. Of course I doubt anyone will. As long as the defeatist appeasement policy of “agreements” is followed we can not expect to win.Its as simple as that.
Its not a misunderstanding, what happened was a deliberate statement from Washington that diplomacy will get you nowhere. Thats why they have Samantha Power at the UN. That’s why Kerry negotiates all these deals and then immediately betrays them.
The Russian perspective has always been that when the talking stops the shooting starts. The American perspective is that talks will get you nothing and that Russia, and China ultimately have to choose between submission and war.
Of course, Washington is bluffing. They don’t want war, but NeoCon ideology states that if you take Russia to the brink of war, they will back down and you will get what you want. This is based on the single instance of the Cuban missile crisis, and ignores that the crisis was resolved by Kennedy ordering Pershing missiles out of Turkey.
The NeoCons are maniacs and Obama and Kerry are fools so we are fast approaching the crucial moment.
If the talking stops the shooting starts, and whoever shoots first laughs last.
The western backed foreign criminals inserted into Syria will be defeated.
The Syrian people are with Assad.
Christians in Syria are with Assad.
The US and its Anglosphere and EU vassals think they rule the world.
The coalescing multifarious East is making its stand in Syria.
The West will break on the East.
The zionazi war criminal and quisling kerry resumes pushing for a no fly zone over Syria, again showing the world that israel is only interested in destroying Syria.
US Making Preparations for Possible Military Cooperation With Russia in Syria

Are the writers of sputnik dumb – they really swallow the americsn bull – s***.
I have read other comments but I just can’t understand why Russia keeps trusting the US
It’s like the abused child and the abuser.
Every time I see Lavrov and kerry it is sickening
Why make agreements with the devil.
I think you should read what Grieved says. Putin has told the world that knows what the US is doing and will do. Grieved explains what this means very well.
“In Op-Ed posted on RT in June, experts agree that Washington has no control over its proxies in Syria”
I really hope that the Russians are not this nieve
I think it’s partially true.
They may have control over the commanders/middlemen, but the rank-and-file takfiri rabble are operating essentially like mafias – going where the money/arms is.
A ‘Sunnistan’ will never emerge organically from an engineered Shia-Sunni conflict – the coriginal plan.
The Kurds are in disarray following obvious betrayal by their erstwhile US allies. A ‘Kurdistan’ is vanishingly small, not even under the corrupt Barzani, who is facing major challenges from rivals himself, some Iran-friendly.
The fact that a Saudi mouthpiece in Syria is stressing ‘unity’ indicates there is anything but: it is a typical aggressor claim when the odds are no longer in their favour.
I wonder if the Turkish operatives allegedly killed in the Russian air strike were NATO Gulenists. That would only improve cooperation with Turkey.
Tactical decisions coordinated by the US/Israel are not leading to overall strategic accomplishment, even if they succeed. The overall strategic plans A and B are no longer realizable.
Thus I worry what will be stirred up in the SCS – failure makes the psychopathic mindset vindictive.
Oh boy……UK mp’s say they may have to work with Assad to defeat isis, but defence ministry says that the UK is not prepared to defend itself against Russia……mixed priorities guys?
RT headlines this evening.
So we are about one step away from Russian and the U.S. led coalition from directly confronting one another as they each seek to attack or defend their allies. For Russia this is the SAA and allies and for the ‘coalition’ Erdogan’s forces and all the various jihadi terrorist groups. Perhaps a declaration by the Syrian government that all forces operating in Syria without their permission are acting illegally under international law and Nuremberg Code, which will at least offer the sanctity of law to be on their side. This is getting very serious….
The latest American treachery of bombing the Syrian Army in violation of the ceasefire reminds one of Aesop’s fable about the scorpion and the frog:
The Scorpion and the Frog
A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The
frog asks, “How do I know you won’t sting me?” The scorpion
says, “Because if I do, I will die too.”
The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp “Why?”
Replies the scorpion: “Its my nature…”
How long will it be before Russia gives up on its attempts to pander to its US peace “partners” and realize that the American scorpion cannot help but sting you when given the chance?
Don’t think that the Russians don’t abide by this story. The CeaseFire was a chance for Russia to see what was going on. They are not stupid.. They got it figured out, but I was surprised that they announced that the Israelis got ‘schooled’.
My goodness, just caught Dimitri Babich from Sputnik on sky news v Ariel Cohen “Russian expert” from the Atlantic Council…..Dimitri constantly cut off when responding to outrageous comments and points scoring attempts, like Putin’s troops of Donbass obviously shot down MH17……..Russia attacked the convoy…….this extremist is one example of who we are up against guys, any chance of a character assassination ?
Dmitri Babich was foul enough to accept this invitation, as if he doesn’t have any knowledge of the “system” applied in such “discussions”.
I think this shows the direct the US will take things now.

America in Asia: Arrogant, Unapologetic, and Ready for More Conflict
http://m.journal-neo.org/2016/09/19/america-in-asia-arrogant-unapologetic-and-ready-for-more-conflict/
“The United States exists an entire ocean away from Asia, yet its policymakers, politicians, and even Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter have declared America’s “primacy” over the region, vowing to assert itself and its interests above all nations actually located in Asia.
The US, by presuming to dictate all that takes place across Asia, has all but declared itself a hegemon.
Reiterating the notion of American primacy and exceptionalism is a full-time occupation for the US State Department’s employees. This includes US Ambassador to ASEAN Nina Hachigian who pointed out to followers on Twitter that she had “spoke to some Lao shop owners” following US President Barack Obama’s recent visit to the Southeast Asian nation, and “they said [President Obama’s] visit was the most exciting and significant event in decades.”
Fact checking the US President and various US ambassadors’ rhetoric regarding America’s true record in Asia points out a nation of infinite arrogance, unapologetic for the enormous and enduring suffering it has brought quite literally from an ocean away, and proves with its current actions elsewhere throughout the world that it is ready and willing to sow yet even more chaos.”
Meanwhile the closet gays in the pindo af is threatening North Korea with nuclear attack:
‘Not a Game’: US Flies More Nuclear Bombers Over Korean Peninsula
https://sputniknews.com/asia/20160921/1045567023/second-us-bomber-flyover-korea.htm
“Following the US Defense Secretary’s warning that American troops are prepared to fight North Korea, the Pentagon has flown two bombers over the peninsula in a show of force.”
Unfortunately the article is one of those written by atlantist 5th column rubbish (probably owning the usual israeli 2nd passport) that still have not been flushed down the bog.

Of course, but Russia is waiting for the American election results before making
deeper decisions.
Their goal is to just get there, hope Trump wins,
but plan for the worst.
Gary Johnson is the biggest problem.
The clown who doesn’t even know what A-leppo is can put Hillary Rothscild in the WH.
I’m not voting for him, but Gary Johnson isn’t a clown, might be better than Trump, come to think of it. He had good things to say about Syria, just didn’t understand out of context question clearly meant to confuse him (think Dean scream moment). Problem I have with him is libertarian free market anti-government help for the downtrodden (who badly need such help these days.)
I’ll be voting Green
This is an excellent article, however, the author has completely missed the whole point of the exercise.
Russia is dealing with Syria in exactly the same manner as Ukraine.
Do you remember the cauldron debacle?
There about 5,000 or so troops were encircled, many of whom were US Marines, and they all either surrendered or were escorted to safety under an amnesty.
The Russian idea is no direct confrontation with the US and its allies.
Just take advantage of their arrogance, stupidity and tactical incompetence.
Russia is giving America enough rope to hang itself, and America has firmly tied the noose around its neck, tied the other end to a high branch and all the congenital American idiots have to do now is jump!
And as sure as eggs are eggs America will jump just as they did in Ukraine.
This is a set up and America is now out of its depth.
Just you wait and see!
And what do you base that idea on.I’m very curious.
After reading some of the comments I’m asking if I can get some of that koolaid,it must be some really good stuff.I predict (hoping to be wrong) that Russia will say soon, that the ceasefire is not over. That Kerry who today said they needed a no-fly zone in the region to “protect aid convoys”,will soon announce just such a no-fly zone. What we are seeing here is classic US tactics. Stall, stall, and inch forward at the same time. They have no intention of ever making a true agreement with the Russians. And I’m at a loss to see why Russia doesn’t understand that. And if they do,why are they letting them play them like that.
The attack on the Syrian troops said, “we can hurt you anytime we want too.And nobody will stop us”.The lack of a strong response from Russia (no,condemning it and being upset,is not a strong response.Threatening shoot downs if it happened again is a strong response). The attack on the convoy, and the immediate claims that Russia or Assad did it. Was a message that,”we can do false flags anytime we want to,and get the World’s media and West to support us”.Hence France and among others, Turkey (yes the same Turkey we fool ourselves thinking was turning on the US.The Turkey that met with Poroshenko yesterday and said they fully backed his claims to Crimea, that invaded Syria though ,we all said they wouldn’t dare, yes that Turkey),said that Assad was responsible for this. The mantra Assad must go is still there.Just because they don’t utter it at every meeting means nothing. It has never changed as the “final solution” to Syria.
The US is like a dog with a bone, and always has been. They don’t give that bone up,they might appear to,but that is purely “spin”.We can look at the supposed “failures” of the US and what do we see. In Cuba, the US lost control of it in 1959,so what did they do. They destroyed it.They blockaded Cuba (they call it an embargo, the spin is in the wording). They encouraged hundreds of thousands of Cuba’s middle and technical classes to leave the Island, desperately harming its society. They cut off 3/4 of Cuba’s trade leaving them totally dependent on the USSR and their allied countries thousands of miles away. They armed and trained terrorists to attack Cuba regularly. And would have finally invaded Cuba if the USSR hadn’t threatened nuclear war with moving missiles into Cuba. The US realized they would have to try more peaceful means,or risk destruction. But that was because the USSR went nose-to-nose with the bully.Without that, the US would have done a “humanitarian “rescue of Cuba. And now today, over 50 years later, while Cuba has survived. The lifestyle of its people is reduced from the most developed in Latin America,to a broken state. The US never forgets, and never forgives.
We can look at Vietnam. We misunderstand what happened there. The reason the US pulled out of Vietnam, wasn’t because of defeat on the battlefield. It was because winning was “too high” a price for the US population to accept. It was the unrest, and anti-war movements in the US that forced them out.The US population has no major “problem” with putting war costs “on the credit card”.But they will not accept high casualties of Americans.Especially when they had a conscript military. The elite realized that, and after the war went to a mercenary “volunteer” military. In Vietnam the US lost around 58,000 troops dead. In all the multiple wars since then, losses haven’t even been 20% of that in total, for decades of war.We hear countless talk of the US’s economic collapse.but the US economy (and World economies) almost collapsed in 2008-2009.Right in the middle of the US’s MENA wars of the time. And it didn’t effect those wars progress at all.Even if there is some huge “collapse” it will take several years to really manifest itself. And as WWII showed, what better way to jump start an economy than war.So I have little faith in economic collapse as being “the” answer to this situation. We talk about playing the “long game”.Well I’ll tell you,the US plays the long game. They have savaged Cuba for over 50 years, that is a pretty long “game”.They’ve been trying to destroy Venezuela for over a decade. And from what we see,are close to accomplishing that. They plotted with fascists, and subverted the elite in Ukraine for 25 years. And gained control of most of it. Just to be an eternal spear in Russia’s side. And they have worked hard at sowing unrest inside Russia for years. They haven’t been very successful there,in the Russian ethnic areas.Though subverting of the 5th column proceeds along. But in the non-Russian areas, the US and its stooges constantly work there.Every few days or so we hear of terrorist shootouts in Dagestan and surrounding areas. They haven’t won there. But the fact that terrorists still operate there shows they haven’t totally lost there either.
The US’s “grand design” is to isolate Russia to within its borders. To subvert every single country surrounding Russia. And then to work heavily on subverting Russia. They haven’t been “overwhelmingly” successful there “yet”. But,we see with the Baltic states and Norway they have. Most of Ukraine they have,Georgia, they have more than not. Azerbaijan is debatable, the Turks help them there. And they use the Turks to help them in Central Asia as well. The only Central Asian country “so far” ,we can count on to support Russia is Kazakhstan. And that is most likely because of the huge Russian minority that lives there. The rest have gone from “pro-Russian,to more neutral” and that is a step away from “pro-US”.Belarus,is a target of the US’s as well. They can easily see a “Ukraine” there in the future. That brings us to Finland, moving ever closer towards NATO. They started out as “we are totally neutral”,to then joining the EU.And now its,”we aren’t ready, or sure, we want to join NATO yet”.That is a long way from “we are totally neutral”.That leaves us with Mongolia and China.I don’t see them (especially China) as falling into the US trap,at least for a long time. But that doesn’t mean for a minute the US isn’t working on them (the dog with a bone theory). So the only country left with a land border with Russia (tiny one) is North Korea. And the US has made sure over the years that North Korea stays poor and isolated (the Cuba approach). Its a long term game with the US.No matter which of the elite holds power, the “prize” they covet is the same ,Russia. And they keep their eyes on that prize.
So from that, some would say,”is all lost.Do you think we will be defeated”. No,all isn’t lost. And no,we don’t have to be defeated. But what we must do is realize the game the US is playing. And stop fooling ourselves that they are easy to be defeated. They play the long game.It took them 70 plus years to become the “hegemon”.Slowly but surely subverting elites Worldwide.Taking over the media in much of the World.Garrisoning much of the World with US bases, that number in the many hundreds. They play “for keeps”.And to defeat them, their opponents must also “play for keeps”.Playing to not lose, isn’t enough.Only playing to win, will stop them from destroying us.Every single nation that falls to them is a win for them.Every nation they can destabilize and turn into a smoking ruin,is a win for them. And we “must” understand that. They don’t care at all how many nations they need to destroy to keep and extend their power. They will never stop until stopped.A Syria turned into a ruined chaotic wasteland is acceptable to them.If they can’t control it,it must be destroyed,is their thinking. If the entire MENA (except Israel) was a “Libya or Iraq” that is acceptable to them.If they can’t have them, then no one else can.As long as Russia (and China) play the US’s game we can’t win. And the World is doomed to terrorism and chaos.Somehow, thinking that you can deal with the US in good faith is Einstein’s example of insanity “doing the same thing over and over, thinking the result will be different”.The US has no incentive to deal in good faith. They don’t fear losing at present. And having the same situation of death and chaos continue is not a problem to them. The more war,the more profits for the MIC,and the more problems for Russia (and China) in building the multi-polar World. The only, even semi-losses, the US has had were when the USSR (and China) stood up to them. With their support of Cuba ,Vietnam ,and North Korea. With the collapse of the USSR (and China’s non-involvement) the US has proceeded forward everywhere. That must end,and countries that want to avoid “US democratization” must stand firm against them.
If the US “defeats” or subverts Russia. Their next and final victim is China. They are busy working on that as I type. Trying to firm up alliances to “contain” China.Russia and China’s only real “pardners and friends” are each other. If only they can realize that.Putin and XI seem to. But that doesn’t mean the full power structures in those countries do as well.In China’s thousands of years of history, there were two equally strong currents of thinking. Which Chinese foreign policy wavered between over those centuries. One was reaching out in the World.Firming up China’s territory and control of areas that threatened them.Which (similar to Russia) is why the Chinese Empire expanded outward. To have a buffer from attacks from frontier tribes into the heart of “the Middle Kingdom”.In those times China was strong, prosperous, and safer. The other policy was one of isolation.Thinking if China kept a low profile no one would attack her. That never worked for long. Soon the frontier tribes poured across the borders of wealthy China to sack her.And several times to seize power and rule China. With the 19th and early 20th Centuries being the worse.Where European powers, and the US and Japan imposed a colonial and neo-colonialist yoke on much of China.Today China has risen again. And the first policy is being followed. But that is not to say, there are not believers in the other policy still around.China’s survival (and Russia’s) ,I believe depends on her friendship with Russia. And her continuing the policy of a strong China. What Russia and China need to understand is that while the US doesn’t fully win in many of their plans. That doesn’t matter to them.As long as they can cause chaos and ruin in those countries. And keep Russia and China worried. That is what they consider a “win”.
appreciate long post uncle Bob.Cheers.
Bob,
Russia and China will not be defeated….
The US will keep pushing until it cannot push anymore…
Conclusion: nuclear war…
Its really not that difficult to comprehend…..just give it time and watch things unfold.
As an audience we just analyze and discuss what people are doing in the mean time up until the time the great war occurs.
The nucleus is the dollar and its ability to be traded abroad.
You talk a lot don’t you!
Despite all your bluster surely you must realise that there will never be peace in Syria without the USA’s agreement.
A bit like you the US talks a lot, talks a lot of hot air, and I think the idea is that the US will eventually talk itself in to a corner it can’t extricate itself from.
Besides Russia is using a much more effective weapon than any military option you can think of. It is using trade. It does deals with everyone, even supplying the US with rocket engines to put its spy satellites in to orbit.
Trading is a far superior weapon than any bomb or missile and it makes for a more long term result to the positive.
Any damn fool like the US can destroy. It takes backbone to create…something the US doesn’t have. Bullies are cowards with no backbone. And the US is a bully.
When faced with complex issues, more than one sentence is “usually” required. But you aren’t “forced” to read my posts are you.Hiding ones head in the sand and crying the mantra,”the US is bad “,does “nothing, zero, goose egg”,to help the situation. We all know that.Even many of the elite know that. The problem is they don’t care.Don’t for a minute think that trade alone is the issue here.Maybe in a century,it might be an answer. But we don’t have that long.
Really appreciate your post Uncle Bob, I have the same opinion. What will be the end result ? rupture. Sooner or later, there will be no other alternative left in the pocket. At present, Russia and China may have – or they may think to have – some cards to play, we don’t know, but the time will come very soon (in my view) when the cards have to be showed openly. My fear is, that the more are they trying to win some time, the worst outcome will be.
@Uncle Bob
I totally agree with you. The Empire is not a paper-tiger.
I very well remember the Vietnam War as I was one of the anti-imperialists in Europe who protested against the war. Then we never understood why the Empire engaged so much in that war far away. Today we have a plausible understandable explanation. Thank You, for your long post.
Now Vietnam is again subordinated the Empire. But very brave they fought against the psychopats in Washington and Pentagon.
Russia has to learn from history. Second world war, Vietnam war and so on (on the battlefield) and escape economic subordination.
The NWO has always been intended to have regional administration. This is not “multipolarity”. War is an artifact of the concentration of power such that the powerful can benefit from fighting by others who are often deluded and deceived. Peace with liberty can be had only by preventing and dismantling such concentrations of power. Were most decisions in America still made at the State & County level the federal concentration of power would not have been available to be wielded by the international oligarchs. They have been successful in concentrating power still further through international organizations which they control:
— the IMF/Fed system which denies nations the freedom to create their own investment credits. All countries labelled “developing” (most, including Russia) may issue their OWN currency or credits only in the same amount as the dollars, euros & pounds they hold. The investment capital which controls their development must come from giving up a share of their countries assets to entice Western investment. Or, the “hard” currencies must come from exporting more than they import. Workers therefore must compete internationally, driving down wages to give the oligarchs more profits. Domestic markets which reveal the citizens’ needs are neglected for export markets– no longer are the nations of the world even food self-suffcient. Many are in debt-slavery.
— the WTO, TTIP, NAFTA and others rob nations of trade sovereignty, and therefore rob citizens of self-determination, of any democratic voice in decisions– and the increased and sometimes unnecessary trade funnels more profits to the oligarchs.
— the concentration of media has robbed citizens everywhere of truthful information.
“Multipolarity” seems to promise a balance of power among adversaries. But only the return of monetary, economic, and trade sovereignty to the nation-state can start us on the road to true decentralization of power– all the way back to the citizen. Sooner or later we must face the necessity of citizens everywhere to disempower the oligarchs– the Russian & Chinese ones too.
The UN is controlled by the oligarchs, just like the other international organizations. The phoney morality play which we are witnessing is entitled “Western villainy vs Eastern Goodness”. But they are both paths to the same NWO. Putin LIKES the international organizations that ursurp citizens’ rights through usurping national sovereignty:
“I am certain that if there is a will, we can restore the effectiveness of the international and regional institutions system. We do not even need to build anything anew, from the scratch; this is not a “greenfield,” especially since the institutions created after World War II are quite universal and can be given modern substance, adequate to manage the current situation.” –Putin @ Valdai
The US purposely shows itself as evil– to manipulate you into accepting the same NWO, but under a different mask. The US & Russia are cooperating towards this end. Russia is in Syria as a US proxy– to string the war out longer, always going to ceasefire when victory is at hand. US and Europe removed Turkish-border Patriot missiles so that Russia could enter the conflict, and “overlooked” the arrival of war materiel until it was “too late”.
When Russia needed an incident to bring her citizens to accept escalation, US & UK intelligence immediately reported that ISIS/al qaeda had brought down the Russian passenger liner over Sinai. It was a hoax over which US, UK & Russia cooperated. Phoney aircrashes are staged by trucking the parts in, but there are no impact craters as with a real crash:
It’s gravity. Heavy objects that fall a long distance make holes in the sand. They cannot sit lightly upon it.

We can’t depend on anyone else to retrieve our lost liberties, or to stop the aggression abroad.
This is typical Anglo-American disinformation to minimize America’s crimes against humanity and to discredit Russia (or its allies) when they are an obstacle to the USA.
These shills who are promoting their NWO meme fail to mention that the very idea of the New World Order is merely a euphemism for … American World Empire.
This NWO meme is thus a favored one of America’s many phony dissidents and controlled opposition mouthpieces, as it serves to discredit any US adversary while diverting attention away from America’s world dominance ambitions.
That is America’s Machiavellian agenda.
In fact, I wouldn’t be suprised in the least if American psyops specialists from the US military or spy agencies have been planting and pushing this idea of the “New World Order” for decades.
BTW, the Great Seal of the United States (not to mention the US Dollar Bill) has a very revealing phrase inscribed on it that clearly shows that the New World Order really was designed and conceived as an American plot.
This phrase has existed on America’s Great Seal since 1782 and reads: “Novus Ordo Seclorum”–a “New Order of the Ages.”
The Syrian Ceasefire For Dummies
The Syrian Rebellion began in March, 2011.
“On 12 April 2012 both sides, the Syrian Government and rebels of the FSA entered a UN-mediated ceasefire period. It was a failure, with infractions of the ceasefire by both sides resulting in several dozen casualties. Acknowledging its failure, Annan called for Iran to be “part of the solution”, though the country has been excluded from the Friends of Syria initiative. The peace plan practically collapsed by early June and the UN mission was withdrawn from Syria. Annan officially resigned in frustration on 2 August 2012.”
“2014 January-February – UN-brokered peace talks in Geneva fail, largely because Syrian authorities refuse to discuss a transitional government.” America and the United Nations were so concerned about the further loss of Syrian lives that they set preconditions for the talks.
Neither America, the United Nations or the ‘oh, so concerned’ Christian nations of Europe make any attempt to broker a ceasefire from February 2014 until February 2016.
“The US and Russia have announced that a planned cessation of hostilities in Syria will come into effect at midnight on 27 February 2016.
Their statement said the truce did not include so-called Islamic State (IS) and the al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front.”
So for 2 years, from February 2014 to February 2016, the Chorus of Hypocrites was silent. The deaths of Syrian children and women didn’t mean as much then as they do now. And in a way the West secretly approved of the slaughter as it gave the Hypocritical Chorus more to blame on Assad and the regime, whether they were responsible or not.
Suddenly, early in 2016 they began spouting their Hypocrisy again.
Why?
Because in September 2015 the Russians began to hit both the terrorists and their oil assets. And the Syrian Army, which had been losing from 2014 to 2016, started winning.
As long as the rebels were winning, the Hypocrites (Kerry, Ban, Hollande, Obama, etc etc) couldn’t have cared less about a ceasefire. But now that they were losing the Hypocrites were whining.
So it was Russia’s air power that turned the battle around. So what is Kerry’s suggestion for going forward and a ceasefire?
Yep, a no-fly zone over rebel territory. And of course the terrorists who are happily embedded with them.
Sure, Kerry, the Russians are going to buy that. (sarc)
Regime change was always more important than a ceasefire.
and any chance to keep al nusrah -rebranded as evolving to some kind of status of western approval because it holds out against SAA and Russia -in Aleppo and any friends who think they can join that exclusive club, and that city in rebel hands being protected it seems by usa coalition 67 countries so that cannot be wrong can it, even as a separate protected no fly zone key area ‘enclave’ within Syria or as a new capitol city of Syria quite close to our friend in Turkey flying drones over Syria, hence Damascus to be destroyed at all costs symbolically and practically to become a museum piece to say look we came we saw, he died, as a shining example of look , “rebels” for democracy against Assad have succeeded, Aleppo Syria’s biggest city and industrial powerhouse, Assad and government must be, will be powerless there……..
probably similar plans for somewhere in north west Iraq………………..pincer movement for both ends of the Quatari pipeline?
The Qatari pipeline is very yesterday. With the recent huge gas discoveries off Gaza and Egypt so much closer to Europe, who’s going build a pipeline from Qatar that’s twice as long as one you could build from the waters off North Africa?
Especially, when one of the suppliers is Israel, who rules the world.
It is likely that the Battle of Aleppo — will be like Napoleon’s attack at Borodino in September, 1812.
Washington’s penultimate attempt to put Russia out of business.

Responsibility for the Syrian conflict lies with those who set fire to the Middle East and North Africa, a succession of regime change. Syria – only one of the countries that have experimented engineers from geopolitics. Our country, said Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the UN Security Council, has always sought for a political dialogue. To build it on the charges is not possible. But it was engaged in this are those who even before any investigation blamed for the deaths of UN humanitarian convoy to the Russian VKS, despite objective data.
The so-called moderate Syrian opposition has yet to withdraw its forces. From the road Castello. Challenge – a prerequisite for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Aleppo. “This distance was specifically recorded in these agreements,” – Lavrov said. He stressed that the Syrian government forces began to withdraw its units.
Lavrov demanded by the International Group of Syria’s support to guarantee compliance with the truce on the ground by all parties. “If we can agree on such an integrated approach, the chances that the cessation of hostilities will survive, we have”, – he said.
The head of Russian diplomacy added that the unilateral pause in Syria will be no more. At the same time Moscow is insisting on a thorough investigation of the attack on the humanitarian convoy for Aleppo. “September 19, there was another unacceptable provocation -. Shelling UN humanitarian convoy near Aleppo, on the territory controlled by the armed opposition on the same day in the same area was undertaken fierce attack by”. Dzhabhat en-Nusra “As a result, the jihadists managed to move in quarter of 1070, stressed Lavrov: “I am convinced that such a match requires serious analysis and proceedings insist on the very thorough and impartial investigation into the attack on the humanitarian convoy is necessary to refrain from emotional instincts on whether to run to the microphone, it is important to conduct a thorough investigation.”..
in addition, Moscow offers to return to the question of the introduction of “Ahrar al-Sham” and “Jaish al-Islam” a terrorist, along with the groups’ Dzhebhat en-Nusra “and” Islamic state. ”
The number of settlements that have joined the reconciliation process has increased to 647. The number of armed groups that have declared their commitment to the terms of a cessation of hostilities, remained unchanged – 69.
During the day recorded seven violations of the cessation of hostilities in the province of Damascus.
The Russian videoconferencing and Air Force Syria opposition militias, have declared a cessation of hostilities and to report to the Russian or American centers reconciliation information about their location, strikes are not applied.
Syria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Bashar Jaafari expressed surprise that Washington lacked evidence of just one person to accusations of Moscow and Damascus in the alleged destruction gumkonvoya in Aleppo. “Surprisingly enough, that the Secretary of State refers to the eyewitness accounts, the so-called eyewitnesses who saw the aircraft on humanitarian convoy”, – he said during a UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East. “My question is: can a single person in a crowded place, whether he noticed the aircraft can, while thousands of people living in the area have not noticed this. To me, this sounds ridiculously proof “- he concluded.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova called “show” John Kerry’s speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Syria. The diplomat called US Secretary of arguments “untrue” and “misleading the whole world astray.” Previously, John Kerry considered questionable version of the Russian Defense Ministry on the humanitarian convoy under fire Aleppo for an unknown reason.
“The official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov voiced version that gumkonvoy caught fire. Trucks, food, medicine spontaneously caught fire. Though anyone here believe this? “- US Secretary of State said during the meeting. Also, the diplomat suggested that the statements of the Russian military, “an attempt to divert attention or to avoid answering.”
Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said that US Secretary of State John Kerry has distorted the statements of the Russian authorities about the attack on a humanitarian convoy in Syria. “I am disappointed that the Secretary of State Kerry found it necessary to distort some of the statements made in Moscow on the occasion of the tragic incident with the humanitarian convoy. Unfortunately, he chose to distort some of the things that made up the core meaning of statements, “- said Churkin. At the same time, he stressed that Moscow supports the investigation of the attack on the convoy and provided with all available information on the subject.
The Predator UAV, capable of attacking ground targets, was in a humanitarian convoy under fire district of Aleppo on September 19th. “Russian Defense Ministry has data control air situation”, – the official representative of the department Igor Konashenkov said. According to the Russian military, the international coalition drone took off from the Turkish Incirlik airbase. The unit entered the area firing humanitarian convoy for a few minutes before the incident and left the area after half an hour. UAV was at a height of 3.6 thousand m. And moved at a speed of 200 km / h.
Pentagon spokesman Maj Adrian Rankin Galloway said “RIA Novosti” that “coalition headed by the United States, did not fly in the area near Aleppo in Syria, where he was struck on the humanitarian convoy.”
“We can confirm that none of our aircrafts – manned or unmanned, American or belonging coalition – was not in the Aleppo area, when there was a bombing of the convoy,” – said the Pentagon spokesman, Captain US Navy Jeff Davis.
Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said that the Russian Federation and the United States as co-chairs of the International Syrian support groups continue to work on solving problems and improving the situation in Syria. “We are professionals. We are involved in a very serious problem and we need to try to solve these problems “, – said Churkin.
In addition, he stressed that Russia and the US” absolutely “work exactly together in MTT group. “There is a concerted effort to make this something and improve the situation”, – he concluded.
The House of Commons questioned the presence of moderate opposition in Syria and has criticized the UK government for the lack of a realistic strategy. It is reported by The Independent. The report, submitted to the parliament’s Defense Committee, stated that during the war against the IG RAF carried out a total of 65 air strikes in Syria, compared with 550 in Iraq, with 31 of them came in the first two months of the campaign. Further British pilots applied three to seven beats per month. Head of the Committee, Julian Lewis rhetorically asked: “Why were heated debates and voting on the question of a military operation in Syria, where the number of flights so insignificant?”
The Committee pointed out that for several months unsuccessfully trying to get clarification from the government: who are the 70 thousand ” moderate rebels “, which in London is considered allies. Parliamentarians have indicated that if the Iraq RAF support air army of the legitimate Government, in Syria are not clear in whose interests. Lewis called “moderate rebels”, in which the government holds so much hope, “a myth and a phantom”, and called finally find reliable allies other than the Kurds in Syria. A similar situation in the field of planning, stated the deputies, led to the erroneous strike on Deir ez-Zora, which killed 62 soldiers of the Syrian army who fought against the IG.
Minister of National Defence of Turkey Fikri Isik said that the country has no plans to use its ground units in the operation to free the militants from the “Islamic state” the Syrian city of Al-Bab. “If you want to go to Al-Bab, this will be done. Our infantry in the operation will not participate. Instead, we plan to use force “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) “, – transmits TASS statement by the Minister with reference to the NTV television channel.
The Minister added that” Turkey will continue to support the PAS. ” “We want to CCA cleared their land from the IG and from the foreign elements in it, especially from the People’s Self-Defense Forces,” – said Isik. He also added that “the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces is developing a detailed plan of operations” in Al-Bab, and “PAS is willing and able to spend it.”
Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Syria’s permanent representative to the UN, Bashar Jaafari said that the victims of the air strikes on the positions of the international coalition of the Syrian government army under the Deir ez-Zorom September 17 became 83 people, more than 100 were wounded.
Russian aircraft carrier group is sent to the Syrian coast. It will be headed by the heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser “Admiral Kuznetsov”. Accompany-carrier cruiser will be a large anti-submarine ship, big sea tanker and a rescue tug.
Hard split in the group “Ahrar al – Sham” was due to the decision of his leadership of Turkey to join the operation “Shield of the Euphrates.”

An excellent summary, JJ.
You may have left out a couple of things, reducing your comments to political machinations at the UN, rather than basic facts. A few addendums, which may well be relevant to the politics at the UN:
1) The US, with phosphorus bombs, killed some 80-odd SAA troops on a mountain top over-looking the Deir-Az-Azor (pardon spelling) airport, the only means of supplying and reinforcing the government forces, defending some 150,000 Syrian citizens from nut-jobs. Without any reference to Syrian government or Russian Federation forces, despite being required to under the (not-so-secret) CoH terms.
2) Less than ten minutes later, Islamic State assaulted said mountain-top. It is simply not credible to suppose the two events were not related, hence Ms. Maria Zakharova’s accusation the US was in ‘cahoots’ with IS.
3) Astonishingly, several western governments leapt to their feet to claim guilt as well! Including, to my own shame, the Australian government, although I will recluse myself from this embarrassment by admitting I will not vote for any of the duopoly, not for anyone, despite being required by law.
4) Then there was the destruction of a humanitarian convoy. Which conveniently camped at Umar-Al-Kubar (or something like that), a village of some 5000 that had been taken over by Jihadists / ‘moderate’ rebels, and whose population had fled very early in this ‘rebellion’. Very convenient to misdirect attention from the blatant attack on SAA forces defending Deir-Az-Azor.
5) Russians / Syrians were immediately accused of this attack. Firstly, it was an attack by the SAAF, even though they don’t have the technology to attack at night. So it must have been the Russian Federation’s Aerospace forces. Then it morphed into an an attack via barrel-bombs by Syrian helicopters. According to local rebels.
6) Both the Russian and Syrian governments furiously denied any such attack, at the UN.
7) Russia claims that photos from the alleged ‘airstrike’ show no evidence of any such airstrike… no craters, no structural demolition of trucks… looks like a fire
7) Ooh..now it gets interesting… Russia claims they tracked a ‘Coalition’ Predator drone that took off from Incirluk, went to just that place five minutes before, left 30 minutes later.
8) And see this http://21stcenturywire.com/2016/09/21/false-flag-us-nato-and-rebel-coalition-appear-to-have-fabricated-un-convoy-evidence/ which shows video of the alleged attack
9) And now look at this: http://www.moonofalabama.org/ … there’s a response in the comments by an individual called PavewayIV that says the video is a signature event from a Hellfire AGM114-N4.
Draw tour own conclusions

ALEPPO: I’ll bet some of my readers did not believe me when I kept telling them the SAA-MI people were intercepting chatter between British-accented terrorist enablers and the cannibals of Nusra/Alqaeda. Well, yesterday, the Russians bore me out. A Russian missile warship off the coast of Latakia fired 3 Kaliber cruise missiles at a site where a “massive” amount of electronic communication was monitored. It was near Daaret ‘Izza in the shadow of Mt. Sam’aan north of Aleppo and Barakaat Mountain to the west. It appears that the liars at the American State Department who were claiming they were in favor of a cease fire had over 70 terrorist spies operating out of caves and safe houses in the area directing terrorists in the war against the people of Syria and its great army.
I’m not going to pull any punches. My information is that Vladimir Putin is livid over the American attack on the Syrian Army in Dayr El-Zor, an attack which, if it had continued, would have enabled the ISIS terrorists to overrun the well-protected airbase there which the SAAF uses regularly to pound terrorist positions all along the Iraqi border. As many of you have now read, it took 3 separate Russian AF sorties to finally put an end to the murderous designs of the criminal rat in the White House. Moreover, it appears the Russians were in direct contact with American military liaisons all throughout that episode. Luckily, our army trounced the rodents and recovered all lost territory on Jabal Al-Tharda.
Yesterday, as evidence mounted that the United States was up to its old, and tired, tricks, the Russian Navy was ordered to take action and pulverize a command-and-control center near Mt. Sam’aan. The Russian cruiser fired 3 Kaliber cruise missiles at the target and very accurate reports indicate 30, or more, American, Zionist, British, Saudi and Turkish rodents were fried inside their little cave. I mean fried. The U.S. and its confederates are trying to pick up every last finger they can find to send back so the families of these rats can beat their breasts over some charred digit with a fingernail on it.
Via Wikimapia: http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=36.285519&lon=36.851406&z=13&m=b
Proof of American treachery? Proof that Obama should return his Nobel Peace Prize? What more do you want? All the time, Kerry was spouting his nonsense about a cessation of hostilities as if it were policy, the Americans and their criminal allies were stuffing the pockets of their Wahhabist cannibals with Captagon, logistics and C-4.
For those following the front in Aleppo, the battles being fought today are some of the most violent of this entire war. The Syrian Army has pulled out all the stops. Recorded chatter from trapped rodents inside east Aleppo describe hopelessness in a way that makes our soldiers more determined than ever to continue the onslaught until all of these vermin are rendered into blackened chunks of charcoal.
You’ll be delighted to also know that the Pentagon, following the hilarious British habit of fictionalizing events, has suggested that the reason the U.S. attacked SAA forces on Jabal Al-Tharda was because the pilots flying the F-16s and the A-10s were deceived by the fact that the SAA had defectors on the mountain who were not dressed in the official uniforms of the army. Can anybody believe that the Syrian military would house its AWOLs or deserters on a mountain like that?

FALSE FLAG: UN Convoy another Information War Fake?
September 21, 2016 – Fort Russ News –
Tsargrad – translated by J. Arnoldski
Following military and diplomatic failures, the United States has launched an information war against Syria and Russia. Yesterday, we discussed the provocation in Deir ez-Zor, where the American coalition aided ISIS terrorists in seizing strategic heights. Today, new information stuffing has appeared.
Western media are spinning the news of a supposed UN humanitarian convoy destroyed near Aleppo by Russian or Syrian air forces….But was there ever actually such a convoy?
There is a video of a convoy before departure, in the footage of which you can see trucks with UNICEF flags. A volunteer says that the 31 trucks are headed to Aram al-Kubra carrying food and medicines. [ But is this the same convoy is that which was hit? The UNICEF one is apparently still there – ed ]
Aram al-Kubra is a small village which before the war numbered around 5,000 inhabitants. Since the war began, it has been totally emptied. The village is located in the deep rear of Al-Nusra militants and is used as a backup base for groups trying to break into Aleppo. The picturesque ruins have been used by various human rights organizations as a decorative backdrop for stories about Russian and Syrian airstrikes on civilians.
Here, in fact, is a screenshot from a video from November 2012. The war had just begun, and the man already familiar to us from the other video is talking about the destruction of the city.
Then these same ruins are used to blame the Syrian government for using napalm and cluster bombs. Then they began to blame Russian planes for bombing hospitals and schools. But there is not a single hospital in Aram al-Kubra. The construction of a medial center was interrupted by the civil war, and private physicians use rented offices.
Blaming the Russian air force for airstrikes on civilians appeared out of thin air. Western and opposition media could not present any evidence. As you know, burning trucks somewhere and with something without any recognizable signs and then unleashing hysterical cries is quite a weak argument.
Here is the footage of the supposedly burning UN convoy. Somehow, the trucks and their cargo were no longer marked as UNICEF, but labeled as from the Bureau for Refugee Affairs. The sad Arab in a funny helmet repeats like a mantra: “We brought 20 trucks of aid to Syrian Christians. All the things here went to Syrian Christians.”
To what Christians living in the terrorists’ rear was the convoy delivered? Syrian Christians live in the territories controlled by the army because the oppositions’ militants (the thugs of Jebat al-Nusra) simply exterminated all Christians on captured territories or forced them to flee. Such simple lines were designed for a Western audience – Europeans and Americans ignorant and troubled by reasonable thinking who, seeing these pictures, really believe that Russia bombed a UN convoy, Syrian Christians, and all and sundry.
The voiceover tragically moans about Russian airstrikes on a humanitarian convoy. Three children covered in dust and bandages cry for the camera. But the question arises: if the strike was inflicted on a UN convoy, then why were five-year-old children the victims? Who are they? Truckers, drivers, or translators? But the ordinary viewer just sees a crying child and believes any nonsense said on camera.
The frankly propagandistic channel of Qatar Wahhabis does not even hesitate to lie. At the beginning of the Syrian war, Al-Jazeera transmitted the orders to then unorganized gangs of rebels. Daily news showed stories of [non-existent] attacks on this or that target. After seeing the story on TV, militants attacked the site a few hours later. Al-Jazeera journalists then managed to be in the right place at the right time when and where the militants began their next operation. The same can be said about the elusive “Al-Qaeda” terrorists sought by the whole world’s intelligence services – they are peacefully communicating with correspondents of this interesting channel. Recently on Al-Jazeera, for example, an official statement was made by al-Muhaisen, the main preacher of Jebat al-Nusra, who called for a global massacre in the style of his jihadist competitors from ISIS.
But let’s return to the bombed-out UN trucks.
The news of the humanitarian convoy raised a lot of questions which are constantly being given new answers. How was the convoy bombed? Opposition sources can’t agree whether it was a barrel bomb from a Syrian helicopter, a raid by Russian fighter jets, or a missile strike. Whose cargo was it? The US’s official representatives can’t decide if it was the Red Cross’, UNICEF’s, or other NGOs’.
And who is the source of all this information from Syria? Western media have cited the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. This is a Twitter account run by some Abdel Rahman, a shawarma trader in London who has no more connections to Syria and Syrian events then to you, with his London shawarma.
An information war has been raging for a while. More than half of the information circulating in the media, social networks, and the internet are blatant lies. Propagandists mainly emphasize pity and simple feelings. Hence their spotlight on the disabled and children.
This photograph appeared in newspapers and journals with the caption “Boy sleeps beside his revolutionary parents’ grave in Syria.” Sad, huh? But this boy is the nephew of the author, and he lives in Saudi Arabia. The photographer landscaped this handful of gravel himself.
Here’s the video of the young boy Omran from Aleppo who was allegedly the victim of a Russian airstrike. Look how activists first put him on the couch, then on a stretcher, and then filmed and photographed him instead of offering medical assistance as if he didn’t really need it.
And here’s a fake from the city of Madaya, where the population allegedly died from hunger. The photos of anorexic children turned out to be photoshop, and the originals were stolen from the social network accounts of Lebanese and Indian adolescents.
Here, in fact, is a photo of the supposedly starving civilians of Madaya during an anti-government rally: bearded men with well-fed faces.
Following the scandal of Deir ez-Zor, where the American coalition provided air support for ISIS terrorists, Western media have had to somehow distract the public, “wag the dog”…It is clear that promoting this information stuffing to the scale of a recognized warcrime will not end successfully. But it will give Washington time to think up another dirty trick. ”

Kerry: Syria, Russia Must Immediately Halt All Flights Over Syria
Warns Already Collapsed Ceasefire At Stake
by Jason Ditz
Speaking today at the UN Security Council, Secretary of State John Kerry demanded that Syria and Russia immediately halt all warplane flights in Syria, insisting that there was no other way to avoid the escalation of the civil war, and that the ceasefire is at stake.
The ceasefire, of course, ended days ago, with the Syrian government withdrawing on Monday, citing an array of violations over the weekend, including a US airstrike which attacked a Syrian army base in Deir Ezzor, killing 83 soldiers.
Despite the ceasefire being clearly over, some US officials have suggested it isn’t over until they say it is
Nice article, Aram, although I am not surprised, I agreed with your previous one even before I read it, albeit in terms more vague than your analysis.
What does surprise, or more accurately. disgust me, is the reportage of the self-appointed doubleplusgoodthinkinkers in western media.
The ultra-self righteous private-school fools writing for The Guardian are particularly liars.
I well know that the NYT and so on are even worse, but these days, I restrict my reading of duplicitous hate literature to The Guardian, at least they have the occasional readable culture article.
Used to read the parts of NYT that were published in print with a Japanese paper, but five or so years ago realised that the rage induced by seeing through their oh-so-clever lies was bad for my mental health, and that I should not pass even one yen to them.

Chinese oligarchs have the same opponents as Western oligarchs– the ordinary people of the world. For the record, I disagree w James’s misgivings about the nation-state.
We would all like to believe that the rise of the East constitutes the defeat of the NWO, but in the struggle for the victory of humanity only dedicated commitment to finding the truth can guide us.
It looks like the Israel bashing has begun. Now I am normally in the vanguard of this raiding party; holding the banner, playing the drums and twirling my pike all at the same time. But for years I have felt the US is setting Israel up to take the blame for it’s ME policy. The Empire has people believing that the Zionist tail wags the America dog, that AIPAC and worse control the US Congress, that Israel is the 51st State and Netanyahu is the true president of the USA. I think the Empire has set the Jews up, using their tribal history and collective psychological pathologies to impose a fixed aircraft carrier in the vital ME. An anti-Arabia to prevent the union of the region in it’s own interest. And when the region is no longer geopolitically vital, they will play on latent global ‘anti-Semitism’ to blame the Jews for the whole thing.
Israel is a US imperial outpost, nothing more. Keep your eye on the greatest evil, the great Satan, (to use your discourse) the motherhive of the Borg Collective. Bring on the Second Republic!
This too should be all over the social media in all languages, inviting responses. The more the better.
What now? Kill more DAESH and keep killing them as the article concludes. The only question is why did it take so long to oopsie-bomb the Syrian Arab Army.
The Syrians and Russians appear to have been expecting perfidy; the initial DAESH attacks were defeated and IS gains did not last. The SAA continued to make gains elsewhere in the Deir Eszzor area, suggesting reserve forces for al-Tharda were sufficient and few forces had to be drawn upon from other operations.
The inability to seriously threaten the airport must have been very upsetting to the U.S./NATO. It seems to have less a readiness test and more a needed tactical win. The slow pace of the Syrian advance since Russia recalled most of its heavy air assets may have been to ensure reserve forces were robust enough to handle U.S./NATO oopsie-bombing.
Interestingly, the U.S. government may have not only lost control of the DAESH, but its own security services. They will not abide by any decision from the civilian government to limit their warmaking bender. Obama may have taken lame duck to a whole new level.

The awaited Kurdish-led October Surprise into Raqqa and Mosul may not happen at all if Obama wants the offensive first, then maybe balkanize later, but the warmakers want to balkanize first, since its harder to justify if peak war ends too soon and the SAA still has a foothold in Hasekah province/Jazeera Canton.

Samantha power may have indeed been awoken from a drunken stupor. There’s even a roll-call of supporting NATO participants, under the guise of expressing ‘regret’; Australia, Great Britain, and Denmark.

Of course, the neocon neoliberals will have to win soon; they won’t be getting many more free ceasefires to rearm and reload their proxies.

I am disgusted that the UK government , I live in England , voted ome time ago to join in with the bombing war crime taking place in Syria. Now the foreign secretary , Boris Johnson , has joined with the West chorus blaming Russia for just about everything in Syria. Another thing since this very good article was written is that Syria and Russia have upped the ante and gone on the attack against rebel held East Aleppo apparently with much success . What next the author asks ? Very good question as it seems both the US and Russia have reached their points of no return. It is obvious that ANY further talks are a waste of time so the only way is DOWN now ! Who is to blame for this fiasco and act of aggression against the elected government and people of Syria ? Assad ? No , to my mind he has done the only thing he could do to try to ensure his country does not fall completely apart aka Iraq , Syria etc. etc. all victims in the war on terror. The Russians ? Well they were invited in by the Assad government to help in the defence of Syria so their position is at least legal under international law. It does have a vested interest in preserving one of it`s very few overseas bases on the coast of Libya where it has had a presence for many years now. The EU ? Has not helped to solve this mess diplomatically as it has just followed orders from the US. Europe has suffered the effects of mass refugees pouring away from the war zone in their thousands but must share some blame. The UK ?( where I am ) Yes very definitely has aided and supported some of these so-called moderate rebels and once again stood shoulder to shoulder with it`s master the US. Iran ? Very involved and total in it`s support of the Assad government. Israel ? Has played a role but hard to pin down it`s position overall vis a vis Russia. The US of A ? Yes , has lead the anti-Assad faction in the ME right from the get go and is pledged to not give in. Saudi Arabia , Yes , has funded and supported the worst elements in the illegal war against Assad , also fighting in Yemen. What`s Next ?
I can see ALL these elements ending up in war , also including Turkey which is back on the fence, against each other in the factions described and this can kick-off any moment.
