Saker, thank you for posting this great interview. The word “dangerous” comes up over and over again with good reason!! In terms of the Anglo power which you reference, I’m wondering how the House of Windsor fits into this? Through Canada, they still have a tie to North America (and I wonder if we have them to thank for Canada progressing more in stride with the USA, than Mexico or other nations of the Americas.) The richest family in Canada, the Thomsons, are British-Canadian — the link to British-Anglo power is strong, if hidden from the average American’s eyes. Will this power become more instrumentap as the US political instability becomes increasingly threatening?
Saker provides depth, but the dude with the questions and his own opinions is serving half-hearted drivel even when he happens to hit on a good topic.
It’s like listening to a enfant question a master.
Not quite insufferable, but the dude is unlistenable.
I usually take notes and consider the topics and depth of Saker’s takes.
This one, I started and stopped five times to give it a chance.
Sad. Because the whole topic of Empire, Vested Interests in competing groups in the various governments at odds with each other (RF vs USA), and Sanity and Insanity of Ideologues and Military Leaders are great topics.
I think as a transcript without the tonality of the dude’s voice and meandering mind,Saker hit on some very important issues.
One option is to use the “cc” closed captioning feature on you tube, with the audio on mute. I do this with some interviews, and agree it is annoying. Just a thought….
At the very end, you were asked, “Are these people stupid, ill-informed, or evil? Are their actions designed to destroy America or is it a natural byproduct of their stupidity?” (My words)
I sent a link to CA Fitts today that may interest you. It is a different point of view with an alternative theory.
A review by Evgeny Baranov titled “What Russian TV is saying about Thierry Meyssan’s book”
I am surprised you are not more optimistic about the chances of rebuilding the Donbass or Ukraine. You may want to look at Bitcoin, Etherium and other cryptocurrencies. They basically create a public ledger.
Russia is one of the first states to make positive noises about cryptocurrencies. Funding reconstruction using cryptocurrencies will, if imposed, make certain forms of graft and corruption much more difficult and much more easily exposed.
One of the first activities would be to resurrect high profit margin businesses such as Antonov. Their experience in large transport aircraft is unique. Their recent management doubled their salaries and drove them into bankruptcy. A few experienced hands may want to come out of retirement for worthwhile projects, or at least lend their expertise.
Worker coops prevent the worst of the well known excesses. Capitalism is more oriented to short-term gains so we should not have been surprised at the asset stripping we saw to date. It certainly has not been in favor of the workers or customers. For more on this, see Prof. Richard Wolff. I doubt most workers want to continue beholden to gangsters. I suspect that this is one of the reasons many persons in the Donbass are not very warm to the Russian version of oligarchy. Karl Marx, a bourgeois agent, made detailed observations following the French revolution and got most of his criticism of capitalism right (exception – marginal value of labor).
The people still living in Donbass, as well as those on the front lines must have a greater sense of optimism and ideas for the future. Might be worth trying to find some of them to interview and perhaps revise conclusions.
What projects, in what order can and should be financed? What are the requirements for them to succeed?Despite the war going on, there are preparatory works that can be done.
The airport in Donetsk, the scene of extended conflict is a ruin. Removing debris can be done immediately. I would hesitate in building anything there today, but the airfield should be ready to receive materials and equipment when the time comes.
Syria, being in ruins is now in desperate need of help demining and rebuilding their territory. There are surely some people from the Donbass willing to train and gain experience in Syria at this time where the security situation is better than at home. Having a large number of experienced persons ready to intervene as and when safe to do so would be most advantageous. Demining in a free fire zone, as a beginner is to be avoided. A warm winter in Syria anyone?
Rebuilding Syria depends on getting oil revenues back into government coffers as soon as possible. Reconstruction in Syria, with the help of Donbass people might create a win-win situation. Workers willing to work in Syria will have some most welcome earnings to send home, develop their expertise, providing paid work when their homeland is covered in snow.
The main spans of the Kerch Strait bridge are now in place. This means a lot of heavy equipment, not just for marine work, is coming back to warehouses, looking for profitable use. Equipment rates go back to normal, making many projects much more affordable. Prefabricated infrastructure components will have ready use in Donbass as well as Syria.
You make no mention of the elephant in the room, the Chinese are sitting on a huge pile of cash that needs to find profitable reinvestment, safe from Uncle Sam and “friends”. Getting 0.125% returns from Swiss deposits after fees does not cut it. I saw a large number of Chinese in Moscow this summer. Something is definitely brewing and it smells good. Time for another coffee…
The US merchant class betrayed the American people when they threw US industries and their blue and white collar workers under the bus for their own greed, making their new money from importing goods from China mainly. Until this situation is resolved the US is lost, as is most of the Western World. Now the US fracks shale gas and breaks its Earth for China … totally corrupt morally and economically. Total disaster. A very good interview, well worth listening to, but I just had to add my observations.
“The US merchant class betrayed the American people when they threw US industries and their blue and white collar workers under the bus for their own greed”
So true. A preamble or tryout of what was done to Russia in the 1990s?
I am just now reading Alex Krainer’s book on Bill Browder. Krainer details the many ways the American advisors “advised” in such a way that the Russian economy was hollowed out, the country’s assets were stripped sold for a song and resold to international oeprators such as George Soros and others for billions, the money ending up in the hands of basically 7 oligarchs, average Russians were screwed and millions died prematurely of illness and hunger, grifters like Browder, Andre Schleifer of Harvard, Harvard itself, etc. returned from their escapades in Russia as millionaires. Maybe a bit OT, but what was done to Aemrican workers and the American economy does seem to presage what was done to Russia.
I’m not sure which I like more. The analysis, sitreps, or audio interviews. Sometimes watching a movie to the end can be painful, yet these interviews could last 3 or 4 hours, and I would still be attentive. Я благодарен!
1. Go for broke and go all out to establish full spectrum domination. This could work but will also risk catastrophic defeat for the Empire.
2. Negotiate a winding down of the Empire with a new set of rules, or more precisely with the US being made to follow the rules just as everyone else.
3. Carry on as usual and stop when it can’t go on any longer or others force it stop. This will cause a lot of pain and death all around until it stops.
America needs to …
pick itself up, dust itself off, and start all over again …

Pick Yourself Up – Swing Time (1936) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGUsRGuZb6k
The Americans are on a war rampage out of *necessity*, as that is the only way they can maintain US global dominance and ultimately the parasitic American standard of living, wealth, and economy–all of which are based upon sucking the financial blood of the world through the US Dollar reserve currency and the American brand of free market capitalism that it has sought to impose on the planet.
Americans simply cannot face this reality, as it would mean questioning the moral (il)legitimacy of their oh-so-precious way of life.
Instead, they predictably resort to Orwellian deceptions by casting themselves as the “victim” of others when in fact they are the preeminent victimizer.
Back in 2011, Vladimir Putin–in one of his more unguarded moments–spilled the beans and exposed the true character of America when he called it a parasite on the global economy.
And like all parasites, the United States will not go peacefully–particularly as it fears that the world order that America created and dominated since the end of the Cold War is coming to an end itself.
Indeed, America is a militant parasite–one with an extreme sense of economic entitlement and a fundamentalist belief in its own moral goodness and God-given right to loot the planet (or what the USA euphemistically calls defending Freedom and Democracy).
There will be no “deals” that you can trust with a country such as the USA.
The sooner the Russians, Chinese, Iranians, and other nations understand this, the better prepared they will to be fight the American menace.
An excellent interview with the Saker. However, one point should be added. In Russia there is a saying which goes like this:”Russia cannot be ruled without God and the Tsar”. Perhaps the Saker can give his views on the possibility of the restoration of the monarchy, which to me appears to be inevitable, as its part of Russian tradition.
This was extremely interesting. I had not heard of his channel before but I will definitely check it out periodically. Re: Mackinder and the Heartland Thesis; the Belt&Road project is the antidote to the Anglozionist project for Empire and the Brave New World Huxley predicted. This scenario of Russia, China and Iran in a Triple Alliance was actually Mackinder’s “Nightmare Scenario” and he mentions it in his lecture. His treatment of Eastern Europe is that it is “a Moat” that must be breached to get to the “vestibule of the Heartland” ie: Ukraine. They crossed the moat but the vestibule is a shambles and can’t be fixed. As to the China Russia Double Helix, Madhi Nazemroya reported in an article on Global Research a few years ago that I used in writing a paper for my application to the UF History program said that an informal arrangement between Russia and China was reached in 1996 and formalized in 1999 with Iran as a silent partner so this Triple Alliance came into being almost 2 decades ago. They read Mackinder’s lecture too and learned from it.
My other conclusion in my paper was that no president is permitted to have good relations with Russia because the World Empire project goes back to the 19th Century. Every president that has tried has been either assassinated (Lincoln, McKinley, JFK-also RFK and Jon-Jon), attacked and brought down in a Palace coup (FDR- “the Business Plot”, Henry Wallace in the ’40 election, dumped in a back-room plot for Truman, Nixon, watergate was a Palace Coup, Ford, attempted assassination, Regan failed assassination by retarded son of Bush crony then attempted Palace Coup by Iran-Contra scandal and sabotage in Iceland, and now Trump. Also there was Eisenhower by the U-2 Incident sabotaging the Nuclear Test ban meeting with Khrushchev. The Pentagon is tasked with delivering Eurasia to the Empire and they are failing. Germany needs to grow up and stand on its own two feet. Right now I am auditing Russian History 1700-1917. Every Czar had a German wife and Cathrine the Great was German. So when is Germany going to wake up and smell the coffee?

Huge ties between the city of London and the USA. They are still talking about the US as ‘the plantation’.
Thank you for posting another excellent interview.

The US Empire is facing challengers.
It has some options:
1. Go for broke and go all out to establish full spectrum domination. This could work but will also risk catastrophic defeat for the Empire.
2. Negotiate a winding down of the Empire with a new set of rules, or more precisely with the US being made to follow the rules just as everyone else.
