Novorussia is still expecting a Ukrainian attack. First, according to RT, “Kiev is not fully committed to the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, Russian deputy UN ambassador Aleksandr Pankin said during Wednesday’s UN Security Council meeting. He added that the Ukrainian military is amassing forces along the front line“. Then from the Novorussian front lines, we have the blogger Colonel Cassad who reports that a friend of his has just visited Donetsk and spoke with some top people – including ‘Motorola’ – and that she reports that:
1. The airport has not yet been fully taken and that combat operations are still taking place there and that both sides are engaged in artillery battles.
2. The shelling of Makeevka has been strongly reduced thanks to the counter-battery fire of the Novorussians against Nazi positions in Avdeevka and Peski. They are trying to stop the Ukie shelling of the city of Donetsk.
3. They are still expecting a Ukie attack and the NAF are preparing for defensive combat operations. Novorussian soliders are reporting that Polish soliders are deployed north of Dontesk.
It could go either way, I suppose, and this might be yet another false alert.
A quick note about sources:
Speaking of ‘Cassad‘, I want to recommend him again as one of the best sources of info about the situation Novorussia. Along with another blogger, “Basketok”, he provides very good info. The other big quality of Cassad is that he is very factual and avoids all the hysterics that so many bloggers tend to engage in. While Cassad writes in Russian, somebody is translating his writings into English and doing a very good job. Check out the ‘English Cassad‘ blog and, as a good example, this November 11th translation of an article published by the Russian Cassad on the 10th. Today is the 12 but the info contained is still valid and interesting. In other words, the Cassad+English Cassad combo provides pretty solid info, pretty fast. Frankly, as English language sources go, I recommend Colonel Cassad’s blog as the first place to go.
Second, I recommend Russia Insider. No, not because I am a contributor there, but because there is *a lot* of fresh info there, and that it’s “reach of topics” is wider than Cassad’s. So Cassad for fresh info about Novorussia, Russia Insider as fresh “context info”. RT? Alas, no. I like CrossTalk a lot, but that is a discussion show, not a source of info. But the info on RT is mostly stale and vague. There is also the Voice of Sevastopol in English and the Youtube channels of Kazurra and Anti-Maidan (with whom Basketok is associated). That’s about all the English-language news sources about the Ukraine I could recommend. As a general news website to go to I would recommend Information Clearing House and the Asia Times (especially anything written by Pepe Escobar).

meanwhile advanced counterbattery radar was photographed near Torez. The Ukie artillery men who’ve been mercilessly shelling Donetsk for weeks now must know that deadly accurate return fire is coming and they’d best pull back from Peski soon or be annihilated. All the artillery fire to keep the ‘cyborg’ holdouts from being overrun and the rubble set on fire above their Soviet era bunkers is about to be ended with prejudice. Donetsk must be out of shelling range this winter.
Missiles and shelling until spring.
Gaza comes to Donetsk-
YouTube have updated their aerial photographs in the vicinity of Slavyansk. They are now dated 26 July 2014. It is possible to see 4 or 5 deserted artillery sites to the south, west and north of the town. The block posts are also visible. There is a massive military camp at the airfield south east of Kramatorsk. The make an interesting historical record.
There is also evidence of the extent of the shelling around Saur-Grave, although the monument was still standing at this date.

Isn’t the fate of Novorossiya primarily dependent on the strength and durability of the russian economy? If the russian government is suddenly faced with difficult budgetary decisions as a result of deteriorating circumstances on the economic front, how would any of the ambitions of the soldiers on the ground in Novorossiya be realized, let alone the needs of the destitute and war traumatized population?
If this is a serious factor in the struggle in Novorossiya, how come so little of the content on this site is devoted to the complex war on the economic front?
It seems to me that updated transcriptions of the interviews of Sergei Glaziev, Дмитрий Еньков, and Evgeny Fedorov among others should be prioritized and made available on this platform. This way we can all appreciate the gravity of the situation from a more comprehensive perspective, rather than this narrow micro-level discussion of the day to day activities of rank and file players like Givi etc, who’s influence on the larger conflict are rather limited at best.
After all, mother Russia’s economic welfare is the engine that drives all else, so why the limited focus on this pivotal front in the struggle?
Could this be one of the reasons, why the Central bank of Russia changed its Dollar exchange rate policy to floating, on November 10th??

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-11-12/russell-napier-declares-november-16-2014-day-money-dies
On Sunday in Brisbane the G20 will announce that bank deposits are just part of commercial banks’ capital structure, and also that they are far from the most senior portion of that structure. With deposits then subjected to a decline in nominal value following a bank failure, it is self-evident that a bank deposit is no longer money in the way a banknote is. If a banknote cannot be subjected to a decline in nominal value, we need to ask whether banknotes can act as a superior store of value than bank deposits? If that is the case, will some investors prefer banknotes to bank deposits as a form of savings? Such a change in preference is known as a “bank run.”
Something is setting up Here is The Telegraph’s video with Breedlove: Please watch it.
NATO’s Breedlove released a video stating the Alliance had seen those magical Russian troops invading from Russia
Breedlove says he is guessing-no proof but all western presstitutes ran with it. Well with a name like Breedlove, what can one expect of presstitutes- right on cue. To top it, BBC World Service interviewed that rag, Interpretermag’s editor confirmed yes. A day ago that same mag reported a magical explosion 20 miles off the coast of Mariupol that no one else saw.
From recent videos ive watched from reliable sources I think In the fullness of time we will see evidence of clinical strikes taking out Ukr artillery and tanks. It appears that the Novorossian Army are moving their considerable firepower into position including MLRS , artillery , tanks and truck loads of ammunition . it looks as if they have acquired some nice engineering trophies and a nice SAM system :) I may be mistaken but I also saw what looks to be an electronic warfare system , the Ukies were really careless losing that lol. Given all of this I imagine that any attack will cause large Ukr casualties and loss of even more equipment if thats not already happening . Im confident that this “re-deployment” of assets will , given time, result in suppression of the shelling. Lol when I was serving I would have been really envious of a volunteer army having better equipment than us :)

The Anglo-Zionists strike at the heart of Europe – Luxembourg – in an effort to discredit Europeanist, and potentially pro-Russian, new EU Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker.
Juncker may be forced out of the job almost before he’s even started!
Who were all the European Leaders that backed Juncker for the job? Most of them right (Including our “friend” and “partner” Angela Merkel).
No doubt lil Davey Cameron and his mate Georgey Osbourne have a hand in this latest scandal.
If you can’t win by fair means to get your man elected – win by foul. Very Shakespearean isn’t it….
Russia needs to talk to the leaders that backed Juncker and convince them that it is the US/UK/David Cameron driving this charge to get rid of Juncker and undermine the authority of Germany/ France/ Netherlands.
This is potentially another golden opportunity to wake Europe UP.
Potentially.

Can Juncker survive ‘Lux Leaks’?
OLIVER MARC HARTWICH 5 HOURS AGO
Once upon a time, newly elected officeholders enjoyed a 100-day grace period to allow them to get their feet under their desks and become acquainted with their new jobs. Not so Jean-Claude Juncker. The new president of the European Commission, in office since November 1, already has to fight for his political survival over a corporate tax scandal.
Last week’s release of thousands of leaked documents shows how the Luxembourg government was complicit in arranging a giant, (potentially) technically legal tax avoidance scheme for large companies. It makes a mockery of Jean-Claude Juncker’s claims to be a political leader concerned with pan-European solidarity.

PARIS, November 12. /TASS/. The world’s largest economies, including Russia, grew steadily in September, while the growth in the euro zone slowed down in the period, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) said in a report seen by PRIME on Wednesday.
“Composite leading indicators, designed to anticipate turning points in economic activity relative to trend, point to continued weak growth in Europe but stable growth in most other major economies and in the OECD as a whole,” it said. [.]

Saker, this website also provides great info andf translations into english of stories from Colonel Cassad’s site.
antimaidan en on twitter is also an excellent source of updates in English.
Russia Insider is ok but it is a very “buggy” website, it freezes my computer, runs scripts that slow my computer down etc.

“…this narrow micro-level discussion of the day to day activities of rank and file players like Givi etc, who’s influence on the larger conflict are rather limited at best.”
I enjoy the interviews with Givi and the fact that Novorossia has charismatic and decent people like Givi. It’s one of the few pleasant things about this awful war – all to often I am seeing Inna Kukuruza, legless, looking into the camera and saying she needs to speak to her daughter.
I examine Ukrainian media too, and I don’t the equivalent of Givi aming their leaders.
My pleasure, Good Saker.
If Russia recognizes the results of the recent election in Novorussia, then it must protect its people, which it is doing.
What is more, to the extent that “sanctions” are “inflicting pain on Putin/Russia”, Russia increasingly has nothing to lose (cf. post-WWI Germany). In that context, it is interesting to read what Geithner had to say about European attempts to “punish Greece” for economic malfeasance.
On the other side, Putin has infuriated the most powerful people in the world. How do I know they are the most powerful? Because they appear to be in charge. They are not going to stop until Putin is either dead or deposed.
Mix it all together and you get a recipe for war. Oh, throw in the recent elections in the US which have put the people dedicated to violence and reaction in charge.

I assumed the highly informational interviews of Sergei Glaziev, Дмитрий Еньков, and Evgeny Fedorov complimented Saker’s work here by giving the economic side of the overall picture from the perspective of respected russian politicians. A lot of these interviews aren’t staged propaganda photo-ops designed to lift morale, but rather advanced and in depth discussions of the geopolitical landscape.
Shunning them for Motorola and Givi’s philosophical musings is like comparing the motivational proclamations of U.S infantry troops in Iraq after an adrenaline filled shoot’em up expedition, to the measured discussions of geopolitics by Brzerzinski and the upper strata of the American system. One is obviously more credible than the other. Saker himself has posted on previous occasions, some of these spirited discussions. I’m just asking why they’ve ceased featuring on this site. They’re more useful in many ways than whatever the headline from RT about the economic growth stats for the future will be.
Anyway, if you find that request offensive then I suppose this isn’t the right venue for such comprehensive analyses. Pardon my interruption of your reverie.

Because the masses in a democratic polity are deeply imbued with the ideology of egalitarianism and the myth of majority rule, the ruling elites who control and benefit from the state recognize the utmost importance of concealing its oligarchic and exploitative nature from the masses. Continual war making against foreign enemies is a perfect way to disguise the naked clash of interests between the taxpaying and tax-consuming classes.

About calling Saker inconsistent…
I find RT to be very good sometimes…its like every day there are very interesting snipets, and then also, there is such “unecessary for me to know” type things…can’t think of any off hand, but I totally know that Saker sees what is good and takes it, but sees the unnecessary reporting as well. To say nothing of what we “don’t hear”….
I mean lets face it…we keep hearing about the 5th column in RF and the oligarchs owning the media worldwide…so what do you think Anonymous ????
Do any of you remember the girl fighter in Slaviansk on Youtube, who first told of Ukie fighters hiding behind commercial planes? a month before MH17?

sorry that’s all the good news I have today.
Oblama the liar in thief has changed his tune on IS and now says Assad must go before IS is defeated. Nothing new as we know IS was part of the US merc forces anyway. And as we saw the number of special forces from the US,
Nato and arab states out numbered the local militias trying to overthrow Qaddafi. Just like in Syria where the locals are a small minority of the opposition.
Lesson one: Beware rapprochement
Lesson two: For the West, regime change has become a euphemism for total societal destruction
Lesson three – Once Western military powers get their foot in the door, they won’t leave voluntarily until the state has been destroyed
Lesson four – State destruction cannot be achieved without ground forces
The Libya war opened the eyes of many – or should have. But the overriding lesson – if it needed reiterating – should be the realisation that the US, the UK, France and their allies will stop at nothing, including even the imposition of total societal collapse, in order to attempt to reverse their declining global economic position through military destruction. This is the reality behind all talk of protecting civilians, humanitarianism, and democracy promotion, and all Western military intervention should be seen in this light.

(too long, have to cut this in half) PART ONE
OKAY now the bad news.
We know US contractors are training the Nazi brigades. But? Muslim link?
Allegedly (original from a Russian source) Irish born Islamic terrorist “White Widow” was killed by a sniper while working in UKRAINE.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/nov/12/samantha-lewthwaite-white-widow-killed-by-russian-/
It’s all over the usual Brit papers and they think it’s a Russian attempt to look good and detract from the arms buildup.
El-Murid has a much more sinister take on it
Don’t forget this is IF IT IS TRUE
“… Declared wanted by Interpol international terrorist Samantha Lewthwaite, fought in the one of the Ukrainian penal battalions, was eliminated sniper volunteers from Russia …”
If the correct information “Regnum” , the conflict in the Ukraine will be totally different shades than you would imagine.
The death of the legendary (without any discount), “White Widow” Samantha Lewthwaite under Debaltseve – until we take it as a fact, though unconfirmed – may indicate that the largest Islamist groups have a very serious interest in the conflict in the Ukraine. Hardly Lyutueyt worked just sniper – not the caliber, though her biography she could pick up a rifle and go hunting, both on safari.
“White Widow” Lyutueyt – thriller very high level. It is included in staff structures Islamist groups for their very trivial mind, allowing extremely audacious plan and almost always successful terrorist attacks. Terrorist attack in Nairobi militants “Al-Shabab” was designed precisely with her participation. The death of the militants had no value – important was the response, and this effect was achieved. Almost immediately after the terrorist attack in Nairobi “Al-Shabab” spent three more attacks by type aftershock – weaker, but no less resonant – in the border areas with Somalia in Kenya. In particular, there was an attack on a Catholic mission to massacre staff. Kenya after the attack was forced to throw out some of its troops to Somalia than significantly ease the pressure on the group.
PART TWO
It Lyutueyt carries out the selection of personnel for the terrorist attacks in London and Nairobi. To the woman at all entered the leadership scale structures Islamists must possess remarkable abilities and authority.
What exactly would make Samantha Lewthwaite under Lugansk (reservation – if it was indeed she) crucial question. Suspense of this caliber can not just come on a safari or vacation. In fact, there are two options: the Islamists are negotiating supply weapons now in the hands of the good Nazi Sonderkommando is almost any army weapons except WMD. It should be understood that these weapons may be needed as far away from Ukraine and is very close – for example, in the Crimea. And if Samantha was in talks on arms just for “brothers” in the Crimea, which means that the preparation for the “rebellion” is at a very advanced level.
The second cause of the “White Widow” in a war zone may be personnel work: recruitment or vice versa – training already recruited terrorists. This means that the Islamist Internationale needs to be served the people with experience of war with specific protivikom – namely, the Russian army and Russian volunteers. Again, the places where such skills may be required, not so much – Crimea or the North Caucasus.
Anyway, but still need to wait for confirmation. Not a fact, incidentally, that it will take place, even if the information is true – too serious event that the security services so simply handing out information about it. Rather, and “sniper-volunteer from Russia” in this case worked on quite specific purpose. Anyway, but definite conclusions have meaning still do.
By the way, “Aydar”, which supposedly came and Lyutueyt – it is also a very specific division. Staffed initially frankly criminal rabble from the amnesty, which was diluted with very professional retirees mercenaries, including even the citizens of Russia, this battalion, along with a battalion of “Azov” quickly became the most capable and motivated special units. Persistent rumors about working with these battalions of experts from the United States and Great Britain, so that the appearance of it is there-level terrorist Samantha Lewthwaite no real surprises – all training manual.
Saker, what do you think of Kristina Rus at Fort Russ?
She’s been translating some pretty profound stuff in the short time she’s been up and running. Several people here post stories from her site, and she’s moved way high in my bookmark list. In fact just yesterday I added her Facebook page too – she stays very current with events and commentaries.
As I write, her latest story is entitled, “Is Kolomoisky more powerful then Poroshenko?”. She seems to dig these stories out of Ukraine and Russia that shed insider light on aspects of this situation.
I’m impressed. Thought I’d pass it along.

Russia is managing ok. Novorossiya also, as a lot of their products used to go to Russia anyway. They have been selling coal there for weeks and are increasing production as they get more coalmines re-opened. These are “temporarily nationalised” so will bring some income to the republics. There is a bank opened with 10 branches; business need a licence to operate and have to open an account there to be able to pay their taxes regularly (13% only). Shops and other businesses are starting to reopen. Of the ~160,000 businesses before the war, about 33% have registered, although of course not all are able to operate yet. Humanitarian aid items (some non-food) are distributed twice weekly; more and more food is available as people from other areas, both Ukrainian and Russian, bring in truckloads, mostly vegetables (borscht makings).
Postal service is being restarted with 25 post offices. While some people still only work for food rations (eg the tank repair works) those working in profit making enterprises will be paid (something) and pensions are to be paid soon, as Kiev of course stopped paying months ago. Slowly an economy is coming to life.
Houses have been assessed, and repaired where possible to be weather tight, with Russian roofing and window supplies and volunteer labour. Nobody is pocketing millions off this lot! With rain and snow, electricity can’t be reconnected until there is a roof. Hundreds of substations were also destroyed, deliberately targetted.
God willing, these areas won’t see war again. As each settlement is firmly taken, it will be fixed and connected back to normal life.
Russia is providing gas through a newly re-opened 26-year-old pipeline. I have nothing on whether it’s a gift or loan. Not every area can be centrally heated because of infrastructure damage, but coal is available and has been distributed free in cut-off villages. Russia also ran a new high voltage cable to provide additional electricity, as supplies from Ukraine are predictably unreliable. NAF is just finishing taking over the power station at Schaste north of Luhansk, which will remove one source of instability. This also supplies most of occupied Luhansk to so I imagine this is one that will get coal.
Cultural life is not being forgotten. There will be a 3 day Russian film festival starting Nov 14, and 2 weeks ago they held a junior gymnastic championship. Several important dates, mostly commemorating various wars, have been honoured with services and rallies. The Luhansk Eternal Flame was lit for the first time in years (turned off as being too expensive).
Donetsk is either a bit ahead of Luhansk, or just has a better press office. But…they have a draft constitution up for viewing. I’ll put it here after I translate it.
I love these people.

There’s a time for sowing, a time for reaping. A time for waiting. The interesting knowledgeable in-depth guys don’t say something every day. And then they need to be translated. Could you help perhaps?
The “stars” on the front line talk daily. Givi in particular sometimes gives away a little hint of what’s to come; he has the friendship and confidence of the Prime Minister, who he fought beside in Slavyansk. Rumour is he’s just had a big promotion, too.
But we could go on all day with rumours. Nothing concrete or definite is happening to write about. Small villages and checkpoints are being taken over, some with a lot of fight, some easily. NAF wins most of the time, they lose 1 man to every 4 the Ukies admit to (which is 40 real). You want gossip? The Cossacks have armoured a rail car and use it to do drive-by shootings with, at Debaltseve checkpoints.
I’m reading 3 languages all day, 2 of which I don’t speak, to bring you this. When there is some strategic advance, I am sure Saker will give us a good analysis of where it’s heading.
Avdeevka seems ready to become the fly trap that Donetsk Airport has been for the past month. The garrison and any reinforcements trying to reach them are in for a very bad time.
IS there solid confrimation of the welcome death of the ‘White Widow’ jihadist Samantha Lewthwaite in the fighting?
This is reported extensively in the UK media today but all as unconfirmed. To have solid evidence of the Kiev fascvists being in bed not just with Zionist oligarchs and US neo-cons but also notorious Western Islamist throat-cutters would be a massive propaganda weapon.
The Clash of Civilisation merchants have been promoting Isamophobia through the MSM for over a decade. So if the Western public understand that Kiev and Al Qaeda are allies any uninformed sympathy will evaporate.
If the Novorussians have Lewthwaite’s corpse, they should take a leaf out of the CIa puppets’ book when they killed Che Guevara and release the photographic proof so the story can’t go down the MSM Memory Hole.

She picks very good and relevant things to translate. I’ve given her a few news tips too, we chat. A few of her regular commenters are worth a look, too.
Two items I’d suggest (if accurate) highlight the motivation to get the coal from mines in eastern Ukraine.
A. “According to the opposition, the cabinet of ministers was caught red-handed in a fraud with coal purchases from South Africa at a price thrice as high as the market prices”
http://en.itar-tass.com/economy/759216
B. “Conflict between pro-Russian rebels and Ukrainian forces in Ukraine’s industrial east has disrupted coal supplies to thermal power plants (TPP), which provide around 40 percent of the country’s electricity, and has left reserves critically low ahead of the cold winter months.
“We have no other option but to turn to the Russian producers and try to buy coal there, but we put the country’s energy security under severe threat,” Prodan said at a government meeting. . . .
Prodan said Ukrainian TPPs had 1.7 million tonnes of coal as of Nov. 12, around 60 percent lower than in December 2013.”

Nasty Ukies.
Donetsk film festival is to finish with a concert on Nov 16. Ukie SBU is threatening to not allow in the performers. Never mind, they can come in via Rostok I suppose. But they are threatening to get them barred from all of Europe for “supporting terrorist5s. Can the do that? do they have that kind of power still?

After the unexpected Saturday announcement of the DPR ministry resigning, a new Council of Minsters has been appointed. Seeing I never saw a list of the old ones,I can’t tell if there are big changes or not,but a few of the names are vaguely familiar. 16 people, 4 of them women.

seems to be good info here?
The United States tried to force Russia to take part in a military conflict on the territory of Ukraine.
The goal – to drive a wedge between Russia and the EU.
One could, of course, spit on it and still send troops, but the geopolitical costs would be extremely high.
Putin decided to pursue his goals in the form of a civil war in the Ukraine.
From the standpoint of the interests of the citizens of Ukraine (including mine) is extremely unpleasant decision.
From the point of view of state interests of Russia – logical.
The largest modern politics and the most talented experts are not taken to predict the moves of Putin.

Tomgram: Engelhardt, The Empire as Basket Case
Doctor: Would you like to tell me why you’re here?
American Empire: Well, Doc, I’m feeling a little off. To tell you the truth, I’m kind of confused, even a little dizzy some of the time.
Doctor: When did you first experience symptoms of dizziness?
AE: I think it was all the pivoting that did it. First I was pivoting out of Iraq. Then I was pivoting out of Afghanistan. Then I was pivoting to Asia. Then I was secretly pivoting to Africa. Then all of a sudden I was pivoting into Iraq again, and Syria, and Afghanistan, and… well, you get the picture.
Doctor: And this left you…?
AE: Depressed. But Doc, there’s a little background you need to know about the dizzying nature of my life. For almost 50 years — this was in the last century — I was in the marriage from hell. My partner, the Soviet Union, was a nightmare.
Doctor: Do you feel that it went to your head?
AE: It would have gone to anybody’s head. I mean, people were saying the most complimentary things about me all the time. And when I looked around the planet, it seemed true. There weren’t any enemies worthy of me. I mean, North Korea, Iraq, and later scattered groups of jihadis? Can you blame me if it went to my head?
And to make matters worse, along came George W. (“bring ‘em on”) Bush, Dick (“the dark side”) Cheney, Donald (“sweep it all up”) Rumsfeld, Condi (“mushroom cloud”) Rice, and the rest of that crew. It was like being in Rome and hearing the announcer call out, “Batting cleanup, number four, Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus.” I should have felt a shiver of fear.
I should be high as a kite. Instead, I’m an empire on the couch getting shrunk. I’ve got the shakes. I’m consumed with fear that I’m going to do it all over again. You’ve got to give me a hand, Doc.

Bravo Saker!
You are generous to give all of this information on the links to be reliable.
I already knew these valuable sources of information to which I draw. And put you on the list and your Blog, in fact I put it in the first place. Congratulations for the excellent work you are doing, is worth more than a whole divisions of the armed forces, to achieve victory over Evil. Appearance the Blog Saker in English, you are very well-known (from Bloggers geopolitical) in Italy, thanks to Comedonchisciotte and other Sites.
You know the public will be more prepared of the Internet, the common people who are acquainted with the television, unfortunately no. Here in Italy, the mass media provide information that is false and misleading, on the war in Donbass.

Syria and overthrowing Assad:
Another big test for Putin, Russia and China.
The US warmonger group in power and around power are beginning the war chants publicly to “take down” Assad’s air power and force regime change.
Armed Services hearing today, White House NSC leaks and the need to change the facts on the ground so the weak, pathetic Free Syria forces can win for the US and its allies.
Russia has halted S-300 missiles because of Israel and other considerations. Now Putin must protect Assad.
Russia will have to fly the missiles in directly, and force the issue. Or Assad will have a no fly effect overhead his Army which ultimately will crack.
So all the results so far will be lost.
The warmongers sense they will have another defeat and Iran and Hezbollah a victory if they can’t ultimately get Assad out, dead preferably.
Saudi might be using the oil glut and low prices as their leverage in the pressure on Russia.
However, losing Assad means Russia loses the Mediterranean port, and it means Iran is weakened and will be next.
Putin must shore up Syria and find leverage against the Turk, Saudi, Qatar constellation.
The offering to Russia, diplomatically, is for them to get Assad out and pick a replacement.

Russia, China and Iran know well their enemy. No one in these countries is fooled by the lies and half truths spread by the US and Europe anymore. India and pakistan would do well to get onside with both Russia and China because it knows just how the tender mercies of europe and the US are handed out when it was colonized by the white race. We have all heard it before. And NATO, can`t start a war with either Russia and or China, because it would mean the end of both the US, Canada and Europe along with Australia and new Zealand for good measure. the ” Five Eyes would be plucked out.
Who really cares what Americans read and believe. As a whole, the entire nation is populated by ill informed, brainwashed idiots that latch on to the next “Hitler” being promoted by their official propaganda machine in Washington. Now they have managed to create mulitble Hitlers all at the same time and still the dumb Bast**ds believe them.

When you said Polish soldiers do you mean Polish volunteers or real soldiers dispatched by Poland to support Kiev?
Polish mercenaries. Bargain price Blackwater types (US uses them too, they charge half as much as Americans). They’ve been there all along, NAF keep saying they can hear them talking Polish (they eavesdrop on their radios with scanners).

Of course it’s the Saker. What specifically makes you think it is not? How does something you saw somewhere else fit in?

Avdeevka seems ready to become the fly trap
NAF don’t want to shoot into it,as people still live there, unlike Peske which has been nothing but UAF for ages, totally destroyed. Small fast moving teams can keep knocking out the supplies. Ukies have to stick to the roads (heavy gear, need maps) whereas NAF can go cross-country. Certainly hope it doesn’t take as long as the airport did!!.

about the coal
well then they should not have bombed the coal mines and shot up the miners’ houses, should they? maybe saved that ammunition money to pay Russia for coal, which they now want prepaid?
People in occupied Luhansk will have power if NAF takes over the Schaste power station, which they need for themselves too, ie in Ukie hands the Donbass cables seem to get disconnected.

No,nothing more. all the UK papers got it from the same one minor Russian source.
So far looks like a beatup. One reporter for a small outfit reckons he was told by the sniper??? best guess is that IF she was there and IF anyone knew, it would be a Russian sniper sent in specially to target her. Starts to sound far fetched. On other hand if NAF got her by mistake how does anyone know she’s dead? Brits trying to find out, Ukraine allegedly put price on sniper’s head (with what $$$???) (and WHY?) and what would she be doing there anyway?
Aidar commander says
“Meanwhile, Aidar commander, Sergey Melnichuk, told BuzzFeed News that Lewthwaite was never part of his battalion.
“We don’t have any ‘White Widows’, and nor could we,” Melnichuk said, claiming that this report is an attempt “to drive a wedge between us (Ukrainian forces) and our British allies.” “
haha yeah like HE has British allies, but anyway… Aidar has too much pride to take help or advice from anyone.

It’s not time yet.
If Russia goes in now, everyone in Donbass dies and then some. They’ve not been abandoned.
Have a look at the top, 6th or 7th post, anonymous signing “Bob” for what gear he’s seen NAF with. Even an S300 missile system in case Ukie gets planes up again (better than BUK). Tho’ they probably won’t. They bought some used helicopters Mongolia was getting rid of because they had no parts for them. Ukies bought some parts from Russia but forgot to pick them up (cash shortage??) before the war started. So the choppers are grounded.
For Russia to come in openly, there needs to be something huge happen to justify it, OR absolute proof of NATO or other outside help, then they’re equal. But in 6 months these NAF guys have become a world model for ground fighting, gone from hunting rifles to high-tech experts, regularly mash 3 or 4 tanks and APCs with 5 or 6 guys and hand guns. Air attack is the only thing they can’t win against unaided.
NATO is again claiming Russians have moved in, but as usual is not showing images. It’s based on “international observers” (the OSCE claiming to see a lot of military movement. So? NAF has been driving around the same convoy since Oct 31, on purpose, to scare Ukie. OSCE keep saying unmarked vehicles and they see no people (apparently not even drivers) so they have no idea who they might be.
“At 07:45hrs, on 11 November, three kilometres east of Donetsk city centre, the SMM observed a convoy of 43 unmarked green military trucks, with tarpaulin covers, moving in the direction of the city centre.
Five of the trucks were each towing 120mm howitzer artillery pieces. Another five were each towing partly-covered multi-launch rocket systems (MLRS). ”
SO??? they don’t have to mark them inside their own territory. The spy satellites must all be broken if they can’t ever see any actually crossing the actual border. Romulan cloaking???
Re: Samantha Lewthwaite (aka the White Widow), widow of alleged London Tube train bomber, fugitive from Kenyan police in connection with the shopping mall bombing, etc., etc.
The Independent reports:
Aidar commander Sergiy Melnychuk told BuzzFeed: “We don’t have any white widows, and nor could we. They’re [the Russians] trying to drive a wedge between us and our British allies.”
So confirmation that the Brits are backing the Nazis in Ukraine civil war.
My friends, I am alive and well. I have returned from a trip abroad and I am now again safely ensconced in the family compound.
I will not give a SitRep at this time. OpSec (Operational Security) is paramount, especially now. Perhaps in a few days I can give one, but again, not at this time.
I am in process of writing my findings in my homeland, my HOR. It is not going to be pretty but will be brutally honest. My home country is not what it was this short decade since I left. The shining beacon of truth and piece was my visit to Saker.
I know some of you have asked of me/us. I/we are well. Our refugees are almost all moved to mainland Russia and are doing well. We keep in contact with many of them.
Little Ana, our dearest almost daughter, is doing very well in school, perfect marks, and is very happy living with her mother. Her father I will say nothing of beyond he is alive and well. She and her mother will come to us next spring after school is over. We hope and pray her father will be here waiting for her and her mother. All will be as God wills.

But major Aipac and Democrat donor, Haim Saban, also offered shocking, memorable copy. He told the audience that if Israel doesn’t like the Iran-western nuclear deal, it should “bomb the daylight out of the sons of bitches.” Saban ($400,000 to IAC in 2011) is one of Hillary Clinton’s largest donors. During her upcoming campaign, when you hear her rattle sabers on Iran or any other Israel-related subject, you’ll now know why.
Be a shame if Lewthwaite report is wrong, but one certainly can’t trust the Independent, of all UK papers. Owned by Alexander Lebedev and of course viciously anti-Putin even by the bent standards of Britain’s controlled media.
more out of the news news.
i have suspected for a while now that contrary to the usual pundits’ screechings, it is this country that is the direct target of the collapsing crude oil prices.
they are a smaller country at the periphery, maduro is obviously in their sights since they did in chavez 2 years ago, but most important unlike russia, their “crude oil” reserves are almost entirely the thick, expensive to upgrade/refine hydrogen-poor “orinoco tar”, several hundred billions of barrels of it supposedly.
so as of today’s $75 crude 4-year low, it’s tough to generate foreign currency earnings.
just use google images or bing u get search results hundreds of charts/graphs.
http://nsnbc.me/2014/10/31/1-395-arrested-venezuelan-anti-smuggling-operation/
Measures against smuggling, hoarding and informal sale of price-regulated goods are aimed at combating what critics term an economic crisis in the South American OPEC nation. Principal manifestations of this are shortages of some basic foods, domestic products and medicines, 63.4% annual inflation, and a greatly overvalued fixed-rate currency.
Auslander, welcome back. We;ll wait for your report when you’re ready.
Also a belated welcome back American Kulak who I think has been AWOL for a while.
It seems as if the Ukrainian army is getting quite uppity: according to the OSCE monitors, for yesterday, they were hassled by Ukrainian Army – including 1 officer in civilian clothing – at checkpoints. Perhaps they are taking a beating?
