Interesting linguistic developments. I have always wanted to create a new Russian word. Those of you who speak Russian are aware that it’s not really that difficult. However, you can’t force this process. When the situation is right, a new word just comes out of your mouth naturally. The Ukrainian crisis gives people very many situations that are ideal for the birth of new words and expressions. If everything else fails, the Ukrainian theater of the absurd serves as a fertile ground for an enrichment of the Russian language.
At the dawn of the Ukrainian revolution of “dignity” that took place first in the minds of well paid think tank analysts financed by the State Department, there were no new words produced due to the complete lack of creativity amidst the participants. That all changed when paid and volunteer Schengen visa hopefuls took over the Maidan square in Kiev. A new word was born: “майдановцы” or “maidanovtsi” plural and “maidanovets” singular, meaning members of the Maidan movement. In a sentence, “Maidanovets assaults a woman.” “Maidanovets threatened to blow up a coffeehouse with a hand grenade.”
Soon, Maidanovets became a synonym of “Banderivets” or “Banderovets” “бандеровец”, which is a mid-twentieth century word meaning a follower of Bandera.
Banderovets has been a synonym for “fascist” and “Hitler’s collaborator” for over 70 years.
“Maidanovets” is a supporter of Maidan. “Maydanutiy” is a supporter of Maidan, who completely lost his own faculties. Just add “-nutiy” to any Russian noun or a verb, and you get a f..ed up, wacked over the head person, or a similar situation in which no respectable human being would want to find him or herself.
“Maydanutiy Banderovets” “майданутый бандеровец (бандеровка)” is a supporter of Maidan who lost his own intellectual faculties while following and practicing extreme fascist nationalist ideology. “Ukraine Uber Alles”
After the heat of tires burning on Maidan square died down, and the Ukraine Civil War with the anti-fascists commenced, an old word “ukrop” “dill” took on a new meaning. Ukrop now means a drafted participant of the Civil War on the side of Kiev junta. The botanical description of Dill (Anethum graveolens) as an annual, highly perishable herb with a strong aroma, also in more ways than one describe the “ukrop” soldiers.
This week I came across a new for me Russian word for Ukrainian struggling neo-fascists: “щеневмерлики” “shenevmerliki” or “notdeadyet-ists” after the first line in Ukrainian national anthem, “Ukraine is not dead yet.” Double meaning. Somebody who possess a fantasy view of the world believing that Ukraine is still alive. And also somebody who sings Ukraine’s national anthem nonstop and shots everyone who doesn’t.

I had a chance to look at that material. What came to mind was, “At the end-of-days, the secret and dark doings of these reprobate and apostate will be revealed by decree of the Holy Spirit. That which has been hidden will be made known.”

I am not religious. I am sometimes philosophical, sometimes psychological, always political. Which means I can ‘entertain’ a range of interpretations of the why’s and wherefores of human behaviour – including spiritual.
I don’t really follow the Illuminati/Masonic reading of world events – I am more interested in personal histories of the elites (entirely self-styled) and how they are interlinked. It is becoming clear to many that supposedly ‘disparate’ events are intimately related: the real movers and shakers are closely connected and much of the political conflict we see is theatre.
The essential differences between Democrats and Republicans is long gone for example. They both subscribe to the same neo-liberal ideology. One plays the ‘culture’ and the other the ‘economic’ card. But both serve the ambitions of a vertical power structure.
I was less intrigued by Sikorski’s alleged Masonic membership than his history. The article confirmed that politicians are spotted young and groomed for power. It is not random. The selection criteria are well-established. The ‘right’ psychology – narcissm, opportunism, lime-light seeking is sought – then found – usually in university. As is the ‘fatal flaw’ which can be activated when they outlive their usefulness, or become a threat.
The ease with which they lie is noticeable . They have a strong sense of self-entitlement bolstered by group-think. Like actors, they are continually ‘hustling’. They all want to be ‘picked.’ They need envy to validate their existence. They are ideal to preside over the economics of consumerism, driven by the psychology of discontent. A perpetual motion machine going nowhere.
The pattern crosses national boundaries. We were unaware of it, as a result of the barriers of language and the smoke and mirrors of the MSM. The Internet has pulled back some of the veils. More will come.

This is a very problematic and very controversial news item. There is no verifiable source here, and it is copy-pasted across right and nationalistic blogs. When there is an appeal and a lawsuit threat in place, one can do better than ‘one girl said’ with no response on the other side. Even if it happened as reported, the candidate was seen as not following important news and unable to present an answer on what is happening in Ukraine. If she would present a patriotic answer she may well be alright, but her answer –that she has not heard about aggression, etc,– is a poorly developed one in such highly competitive setting. She has an appeal route available (if she is real), and admission results were not announced yet.
Regarding 5 column, it is really much better to say who did what wrong than run about with such a broad brush. Rights and wrongs were made across all political affiliations.
If the Russian establishment spent as much time and money on getting rid of the fifth column as they do in trying to brainwash the nationally-minded that things are fine, the country would do quite well. But the problem is that such a high percentage of the elite and prosperous and well-educated are pro-Western. It isn’t easy to separate the fifth column from a typical liberal.
Paul II, Rooting out of govt those who are not carrying out presidential directives would appear to be do-able. But maybe not: nepotism, strong presence of patronage by oligarchs,? I don’t know, can’t make sense of it.

They probably won’t be removable from the Western half of the country without a war at this point or at least before long. She said that the asian countries are simply issuing their own currency. As you know, this is forbidden by the IMF/Fed system for any country which is categorized as “developing”; that is, most of them. Excerpts:

Ellen is covering the pope’s speech in her article because he’s an important public figure and is saying something we can actually agree with.
However, my comment wasn’t about the pope’s address urging a new monetary system, but about what Ellen Brown wrote towards the end of the article. I quoted it because it represents new knowledge to me. I am asking whether anyone can confirm it or knows how I might research it.
You see, if some of the asian nations are issuing their own currency irrespective of the IMF/Fed system’s monetarist rules, then why doesn’t Russia? Starikov in a recent video indicated ithat neither Russia nor others could do it because they would be economically blockaded, etc.
Since the necessity to borrow money for investment instead of issuing her own is THE obstacle to growth it’s a really important question.

The closest I’ve found about my question whether asian banks are issuing currency unregulated by IMF/Fed system is a little more background. Specifically, how the Fed system we understand is linked in with the international system– the BIS: “the central bank syndicate, a shareholder-owned consortium of private banks, the BIS.”
Recommend you speed-read the article. Certainly you know most of it. I was previously STOPPED at the IMF level, regarding it as a black box, but now I see that the control/thievery goes on to the BIS.

The blogger is the child of Lebanese parents. I wonder if that increases awareness? So much of Anglo-Saxon/European culture has had an historical fascination with the ancient civilizations of the M.E. and Mediterranean. It doesn’t seem too much of a stretch that the use of symbols has continuation and the fascination with esoterica persists, even among avowed atheists. He/she is particularly good at identifying them in otherwise mundane contexts.
His/her analysis of the controversial Paper shoot of Miley Cyrus was a stand-out.
I personally found the photos truly disturbing. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I got such a malevolent ‘vibe’ from popular culture.
The symbols, the colours (bright pastels), the disembodied images (her two-headed Janus-like gargoyled head protruding from a wall), her naked, de-eroticized, half-emaciated body, like that of a sick, adolescent boy (deliberately ambiguous)….and her rolling white-of-an-eye ‘faux’ madness..
there was something very malignant in the presentation. A kind of – well, for lack of a better adjective – ‘satanic’ glee.
As if to say ‘You see what we can do to an icon of childhood? To Hannah Montana?’ A lot of thought went into that shoot.
