May this nurse get her prosthesis and never give up—may she continue to serve and learn. Bless whoever in her family is watching her kids because their effort, example and prayers are reflected in her goodness as it goes through the generations of her family. She lives in a nexus of love in action.
what a lovely young woman…so brave about her leg…it is inspiring for her to be part of Novorussiya…I hope so much she lives to be old and to never be sad again.
Very poignant, sad, beautiful. Thanks. I used to be a nurse in the US Vets Administration. I remember one Nam vet who was knocked unconscious in a firefight; another man carried him to safety and he never learned who his rescuer was.
War is hell for those on the frontline. People like this nurse are. . .well there are no words. Hero? Heroine? None will do. But a video like this comes as close as we’ll get.
When the mechanisms of war are discussed I think of the ones actually affected. It makes me sad and angry at the war-mongers and war-profiteers. If I wasn’t a man I suppose I would weep like a woman.
Poets give me some relief. “Go down to the river, Babe; Honey, I will meet you there.” Dylan.
Do you speak of that Bob Dylan? If that’s the one, you don’t know what type of man you are calling a “poet”. Bob Dylan is a fan of Meir Kahane -a terrorist, murderer and a man who incited the murder of Palestinians.
“Excerpt:
“In 1975, Kahane was arrested for leading the attack on the Soviet United Nations mission and injuring two officers, but was released after being given summonses for disorderly conduct. Later that same year, Kahane was accused of conspiring to kidnap a Soviet diplomat, bomb the Iraqi embassy in Washington, and ship arms abroad from Israel. He was convicted of violating his probation for the 1971 bomb conviction and sentenced to one year in prison. However he served most of it in a hotel, with frequently unsupervised absences, due to a concession over the provision of kosher food. In a 1984 interview with Washington Post correspondent Carla Hall, Kahane admitted that the JDL “bombed the Russian [Soviet] mission in New York, the Russian cultural mission here [Washington] in 1971, the Soviet trade offices” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meir_Kahane

After this I doubt you’ll ever quote a man like that Bob Dylan again, who is a fan of that Meir Kahane.
There is no doubt in my mind that Dylan is not a normal person. His acceptance of the freedom medal from Obama and his recent interview in AARP is evidence. Also the sources you provide and his most recent album all argue that he has sold out again and again. He is a chameleon who seems to be against everything any culture values. “I used to care but things have changed.”
That being said, let me say that if we are to prevail we have to know the enemy within and without. To boycott abnormal people cuts us off from a vital source of information which will backfire on us.
I distinguish between Dylan the persona and his work. The latter is beyond Shakespeare in its sheer genius. It goes where angels fear to tread. From time to time I just have to eschew all things Dylan to preserve my sanity.
Here at the vineyard (which evokes a carmel by the sea image) we deal with a brutal, sadistic and bloody world. Dylan mirrors that. By normal standards he’s crazy and dangerous.
As he himself says, we haven’t seen anything yet. He yet may return to his roots whatever those are.
Sorry, but I can’t stop using him for my own purposes, whatever they are. I’m a self-diagnosed low-grade manic-depressive with schizophrenic and paranoid tendencies, filled with fear and loathing from my upbringing. A former friend who is a psychoanalyist said I’m narcissistic. Whatever. I have to work continually to keep myself together. Maybe that’s why I like Dylan.
I’ll let the moderators decide if I’m out of line in quoting Dylan so much which is to say I’ll let this vineyard community decide. It has the power to eject me as Dylan has been repeatedly rejected by his successive communities. “In the end, my dear sweet friend, I’ll remember you. When I’m all alone in the great unknown, I’ll remember you.”
In the end as in the beginning, it’s all about love. Ultimately, that’s what Dylan is about. That’s what we are all about, despite appearances to the contrary. Thanks.
Thank you for the post and my apologies for spelling your name in my first post with only one “n”.
I am very demanding with my own spelling. Just mine, so nobody has to worry. Lol
Besides, the main thing is that I don’t want to appear as being purposely rude by not spelling your name correctly.
The only time I do that it’s when I write about Satan – yahu known as “Netanyahu” or Isra-Hell the Zionist entity.
Anyway, Many years ago I saw a documentary where it said Dylan copied a lot from others, so I am not so sure about his ” genius”. I promise if I ever come across it again I will post it for you.
Wishing you the best and God speed.
Bob Dylan spent years knowing and writing about ‘The Real Deal’.
But he’s also Jewish…not from a wealthy family, but I suppose they may be stalwart about Israel. I think he was always torn about his religion and his talent.
Sidebar – Did you know Don McLean of Bye Bye Miss American Pie abandoned his carreer and went to Israel ? Another Jewish boy….
Bob Dylan had a sweet girl friend and for some reason he left her for another…possible a Jewish girl ???
I saw a good interview of him with 60 minutes from a few years ago. He is paranoid about what happened to him as a youth….the elites went after him for being an ‘anarchist’…
Some of these big talents – and I certainly would not equate any of them with Shakespeare who was a miracle – are really odd characters…they even know it…I suppose it may be the effects of serious drug addiction in their youth…
Dylan was so drunk at a concert a younger friend of mine from Poland went to see, that she really did not understand his popularity….until I sang her the song “You Angel You”…
Thanks, Ann and Carmel by the Sea. Yes, Shakespeare is a miracle while Dylan is more of mirage or mask. Still, mysteries surround the authorship of Shake-speare which makes him/her a mirage too. As I mentioned, I have to drop them both periodically to retain my own self-identity.
Regarding our gentle/contentious vineyard, it has shakespearean and dylanesque qualities. Did I spell that right?
I have Vox Populi bookmarked and I watched as they put this video out.
Yes it is sad ……but it gets worse!
Mines are not often discussed…….they do not ‘stay put’,.they move according to the terrain and the weather,so no map will be valid for long.
Not long ago I read a tranlation from the Donbas… “no more walks in the woods”.
The real nasties had been laying mines to kill more civilians I am hoping experts will be training sniffer dogs to detect trip wires and anti-personel mines.
How interesting. In thought Ukraine had signed (24.02.1999) and ratified (27.12.2005) the anti personal mines treaty (Ottawa convention). So she stepped on a mine that does not exist? Can someone explain me?
And, with such nurses, I agree to go to fight. Kind of people you can trust.
She is as extraordinary as are all the Russian and Novorossyan Partisans who have risen to the forefront of the struggle for world freedom. There is no beauty she does not radiate, no dignified humility she does not bear, no fear she shows, and no honor she does not deserve.
Thanks, Peter, for the link to Liberty leading the people.
Reminds me of the Statue of Freedom or Lady Liberty adorning the US Capitol building.
Oh what a paradox and irony! If only we would learn from womam (spelling intentional). I do my best at thelovegovernment.com. If only our leaders would take seriously the message of the Statue of Liberty and the Statue of Freedom and Liberty Leading the People. We would have a different world. Well, it’s not over yet. We have just begun to fight.
I’d provide the links but I don’t know how. Fits with my snail-mail mentality.
A very brave girl and seems that runs in her family. Sorry about what happened to her.
The orthopedic recoveries are hard to bear. To the intense pain and the long months of rehabilitation, must be added, sometimes, the work of accepting that life is not like before and we must reorganize everything, outside and inside ourselves.
I see her surprisingly full and satisfied, perhaps still under the effects of the shock. I hope she recovers soon and may soon have her prosthesis.
If, as it seems, she likes Nursing work, I hope that she will have the opportunity to complete some studies, for which, apparently, has not had the opportunity. This is a very hard and demanding work, but, at the same time, with great satisfaction…..
This is what brought me to the Vineyard – the dawning realisation that innocent, blameless people were being branded ‘terrorists’ for defending themselves from orchestrated evil.
For every neo-con, policy wonk and stealth-operator who works for ‘regime-change’ there is a courageous individual like Irina trying to stop the cancer.
It’s people like this who are the real ‘saints’ in this world.
I would love to see her get one of those new ‘bionic’ prosthetics I read about recently.
Common bravery. So simple. She had to fight for her hopes, for the land of her future, the land her grandparents and relatives fought and died for.
God bless this nurse.
Truly amazing video interview.
May this nurse get her prosthesis and never give up—may she continue to serve and learn. Bless whoever in her family is watching her kids because their effort, example and prayers are reflected in her goodness as it goes through the generations of her family. She lives in a nexus of love in action.

Hi Dennis,
I left you two messages to your questions in the following thread:

Best regards,

Thanks. Talk to you at the Nasrallah thread.

” Bob Dylan said Meir Kahane, who favored the forced expulsion of Palestinians from their homeland and whose racist Kach party has since been banned from Israeli politics, is “a really sincere guy” who’s “really put it all together”. –

Bob Dylan’s song defending the criminal Zionist entity is mentioned in a X-tian Zionist blog:

Salam Carmel by the Sea,
I guess “Slow Train Coming” was in response to declining sales revenues.
Best regards,

Salam Mohamed,
LOL you are correct! though he should had called it The Slow Gravy Train.
