Within two minutes, an estimated 33 tonnes of gold in Shanghai and New York worth $1.3 billion changed hands. A lack of liquidity, with Japanese markets closed for a holiday, hastened the slide.

If you know anything about finance you will understand that the paper “price” of gold is essentially meaningless.
The “paper” price of gold will be driven towards $0 even as the price of real gold – gold bullion – will increase.
The more the Western Financial “Wizards” drive down the price of gold – the more the likes of China, Russia and India will purchase.
The Chinese have set up a gold trading exchange in Shanghai. At the right time the Chinese will allow the physical price of gold bullion in Shanghai to appreciate increasingly above the price of COMEX in New York which will draw the trading of gold away from London & New York and towards Shanghai, China.
When this happens – nobody knows, but its possible it will be later this year or next year.
That is the turning point.
Why trade gold in New York or London when you can get a better price elsewhere? As always – the market will win.

Physical gold has not been “dumped” on the exchange. Where did you get that? The physical purchases of gold have no influence on the “gold” price refered in those articles, they are handled completely different way.
This is why the current “gold price” is fraud. It actually does not reflect real purchases of real gold.
Btw, ask the countries in Europe why they can’t get the gold stored in the USA. Hundreds of tons of gold, you know?

Not sure — think is was PCR a while back talking about how the price of gold is manipulated by selling short in the middle of the night, and the price of gold was lowered to prop up the dollar, but if you tried to buy and take delivery of physical gold in quantity it just wasn’t available, at least not at a lower price.
My previous reply was not so good. Looking at it it is hard to tell whether it is physical gold in Shanghai or paper gold in NY that was dumped. On first reading I took it it was in Shanghai. After reading it several times it is still not clear whether the gold was dumped on the market in Shanghai or NY.

Nobody is taking anybody else’s place in either Donetsk or Lugansk!
Deinego is Pushilin’s counterpart from LPR – they are representatives – from DPR and LPR – at the Minsk negotiations. Their job is to sit through extremely tedious negotiations in Minsk, so that the heads of DPR and LPR – Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky – don’t have to do that.
Deinego must have come to Donetsk before departing to Minsk together with Pushilin, so Zakharchenko included him in the press-conference, as the representative of LPR, while Plotnitsky remained in Lugansk, doing his job.
Now we know what the deal is worth:
Obongo and his white masters at the White House Plantation threatens to expand sanctions AGAINST RUSSIA to “enforce Minsk accords”. Probably because the Novorossiyans have completed their part of the Minsk agreement while Obongo´s Nazi death squads have failed to move even one inch according to the same accords.

A new Nazi push down south is probably to be expected while NATO are supporting them behind their lines in Lvov…

well ebear, I guess we here in the easy chair don’t know all that goes on over there in Donbass and Kiev…My impression of Zakharchenko is that he said that to try to ‘win over’ some of the ‘rebels’ within the Kiev situation. Maybe what he said is more ‘informed’ that what you and I know.
You don’t win over nazis by praising their gay bashing. These are not the words of some joker in the ranks – this is one of their leaders whose words will be heard around the world. What the hell was he thinking? At the very least he needs some good PR people on his team. Or are they just not interested in swaying public opinion here in the west? And on that point, if the gay rights issue is being used to attack Russians, then whose fault is that? You leave the door wide open with official statements such as these.
Suppose it had been blacks, jews, or muslims they were beating on? Or how about women? They’re known for that. Do we praise that as well? Obviously not, so why the convoluted rationalizations for such an obvious inexcusable remark? Because our side is always right?
I don’t buy the cultural excuses or the “it’s worse in Saudi Arabia” type of arguments. You either stand for ALL human rights or you’re a hypocrite. Personally, I stand for ALL, which is why I support NR because on balance they appear to do the same, but remarks like this make it very difficult when I get into conversations with less informed westerners who base their opinions not just on propaganda, but on the very words of the people I’m trying to support.

I also felt uncomfortable with those comments. But I also feel uncomfortable with the way the Gay Lobby in the UK has been used against Russia – particularly during Socchi. Essentially the russian anti-gay propaganda is similar to section 28 which did the same in most of the UK from 1988 to 2003. It is a minor issue but the likes of Stephen Fry and Madonna clearly got sucked into something they had not researched for themselves (I don’t think either repeated their anti-Russia gay law comments).
Mostly though I am uncomfortable for the way Poroshenko & Kiev got away with presenting the LBG demo as being a sign of a liberal progressive Ukraine rather than proof that the fascists control the streets.
In line with your comments, it may well be that Zacharchenko feels he can take advantage of Poroshenko’s proclaimed liberalism. That the liberalism, which is meant for a Western audience who support good little Ukraine against the bad Russian bully, is not popular in Ukraine itself.

Everything I have seen Saker write about the site suggests divergent views are fine, but personal attacks aren’t.
But I think you miss the point on Ukrainian gay activists – there are very much there to mobilise western support for a war, not to mobilise Ukrainian support for Poroshenko.
The thing about gay is that for many people it means ot implies more than simply being homosexual — making it with members of the same sex. It includes reference to some secondary characteristics which are often, but not always present, such as creativity, being effeminate, artistic, and various other things associated with a large corpus callosum — which is not well established but commonly assumed.
Gay, then, means, wimpy, maybe cowardly or non-combative, mealy mouthed, weird, etc., but also includes various traits associated with the current current and political aspects of being ‘gay’ (similar to how women are funneled into cultural traits such as submissive, feminist, beguiling, passive-aggressive, shallow, feather-brained, vain, etc.).
There is a large mix of meaning and implication there, depending on who is hearing it as well as who is saying it — unlikely he meant Alexander the Great, who is though to have been homosexual, or the homosexual activities of the Ancient Spartan warriors. Given the common attitude of people in the region, saying the Ukrops are being gay may be a smart thing to say in propagandist terms regardless of his own thoughts and feeling on the matter, which I don’t know. A common comment from boys in the US to anything they don’t like is ‘that is so gay’ and common insult to someone is ‘you’re such a fag’ — and neither one has relation to actual homosexuality.

While I like to think that the Saker is correct that a “trap” has been set for the current Kiev regime, facts and experience tell me otherwise. The current regime, backed by the Exceptional Empire of Chaos, simply does not care about all these official statements. As a case in point is the fact that they are still saying something of the form :” we are considering increasing sanctions on Russia, if they fail to commit to Minsk-2 agreement”, when in fact, Russia and the rebels are the ONLY ONES committing to M2A. Of course, EU countries being vassal states will just follow along.
I hope the Saker is right, but I am not optimistic. These entities simply have their own parallel universe, and such pronouncements don’t even exist for them, imo.

We have to think about this problem, then we are not to become hostages of the situation. Yes, today is a very good and excellent, that Putin is in power, but we need to think about what will happen in 20-30-40 years.

If “Gazprom” is one of the founders of the radio, then you need to influence their personnel policies (note I did not say “to influence their editorial policy”).

No, this is not censorship, but that state protection of their interests.

I believe that gays should have the same rights as anyone else. Civil and political. Even the right to organize if it is found there is discrimination of these rights. But I would not “celebrate these rights in particular. Equal rights for all. I don’t appreciate having Gay Pride Parades everyone has to celebrate and have it shoved in my face. These “Queens” “Queers” stereotype themselves and are stereotyped as such in the media as well. This is identity politics, we are supposed to celebrate diversity and “difference” I guess maybe we should celebrate Class Differences as well. ut oh….seems to be a hole in this equality business. On top of the fact that heterosexuality is depicted in the West as misogyny or Homophobia. Masculine and feminine are supposed to be socially created categories not rooted in nature? Men are not supposed to look at women…in spite of the fact that 99% of them do everything they can to “entice” us to look at them that is considered “leering” or being a “Wolf”. Not only that, we are biologically hard-wired to react to them. They send us pheromone valentine’s all day long. On a more cynical note, reports of hermaphroditism in frog, fish, and other species is said to be caused by chemical pollution. I would not put it past the profiteer’s to sponsor gay rights ( soros big oil Monsanto) when they know it was their products that had a hand in such development. I know homosexuality has been around in SMALL minority of all species on the globe since time began and is no threat to the reproduction of the species….but to take this biological difference and use it for social and political agenda’s….in other countries when your own individual states commit more hate crimes than those who are having a finger wagged in their face….more hypocrisy. Now a lot of what I have written really does appear to go against homosexuality which I believe is no one’s business but their own. When the working class marches or demonstrates or protests for their rights…That is a no, no. When the negroid marches for equal rights and an end to discrimination…we all know the story. The thing is capitalism really doesn’t need the family to privately pay for the next generation of workers…in the global economy, capital can search out and exploit labour all over the globe. With increasing roboticization and Artificial intelligence…heck the less people on this planet the better…the family is undermined by capitalism. Three generations are not supposed to live in one house use one refrigerator or microwave….no every person has to have their own….families are now bad for business. And it isn’t just homosexuality that is being promoted, in late stage disaster capitalism anything goes! Why do you think Russia banned those web sites because they are promoting everything from incest to paedophilia on there that is why. The more degrading and perverse the better. And who owns the internet, the airwaves the media…in the USA six interconnected conglomerates do and these fine citizens are the one’s who profit from it as well. This is not the slippery slope argument used to promote intolerance and fear…it is a real phenomena….and it is actively promoted by those big six who manipulate the natural curiosity of youth who have no clue that they are indeed being manipulated. Anyway…I have to take get off the net….I have finally calmed down after hearing Kerry speak this morning and it’s darn near 2 in the morning here.
