The one and only alternative “gender identity” (for lack of a better term) I’m willing to entertain is intersex, which is a demonstrable [via blood and DNA tests] genetic condition (look it up, not on the wikipedia, because transsexuals are using that page as their Astroturf territory to peddle their political nonsense) – it has nothing to do with having a “male” or “female” psyche, btw, or how the individual perceives him or her self.
Intersex people are either a genetic XY male, which in the womb developed as a female instead of a male (but still retains his XY genetic code), or vice versa.
There are even grayer cases where they have what it’s called: “ambiguous genitalia,” and what in the past used to be called “hermaphrodites.” But with the advances on DNA knowledge, they’re all described intersex now.
