Dear western politicians!
Leaving aside the usual sycophantic nonsense, which applauds your continuing efforts to bring freedom and democracy to the Middle East with missile attacks, trying to change the earth’s climate using beliefs, promising an unknown source of ‘green’ energy whilst promoting vaccines to save us from certain death from a dose of flu, here’s an alternative open letter.
As a UK citizen now retired, having recently returned to the UK after over a decade of living and working in Asia and the Far East I’m stunned by the stupification around me. Have I inadvertently fallen down an alternative universe Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole, or is there a hidden factory somewhere mass-producing stupid politicians?
As yet another British Prime Minister resigns following the resignations of two others before him producing a failing economy, soaring inflation, sky-high taxes, an energy crisis and a falling pound … The indoctrinated cheer on men with beards wearing dresses and it’s left to a dwindling minority to explain why carrots don’t grow on trees in a socially engineered ideological dystopia! The consequences of which you blame on the Russians, or the Chinese depending on who the US has currently fallen out with.
As you sit in your elitist tax payer funded ivory towers, let’s briefly detail the chaos and mayhem you’ve produced.
Did you think the outside world believed you were trying to bring freedom and democracy to the Middle East and not trying to control the world’s major oil producers who just all happened to have abandoned the petrodollar? How many millions lost their lives in that failed adventure?
How many of you swooned over a 16-year-old autistic Swedish school drop out with Asperger’s syndrome, OCD and selective mutism whose mother said she had “special eyes” that could see carbon rising from a dying planet? As a self-inflicted energy crisis looms and both Britain and Germany re-open coal-fired power stations, are you still cheering for mentally ill Greta and her windmills?
How can you keep a straight face whilst telling millions that if they didn’t have the Covid vaccine they’d be passing on the flu they didn’t have onto others? How much of the vaccine scam profit disappeared into the pockets of pharmaceuticals, lobbyists and your own pockets? The whole country could hear the cash tills ringing as shares in the pharmaceuticals producing vaccines went through the roof amid crony contracts awarded to favoured companies. Are you listening former British Health Secretary Matt Hancock who resigned after being caught with his nose in the trough.
Predictably, as the manufactured hysteria wore off and attention spans waned, the advice from the British National Health Service was to open our windows and let the virus out. Apparently, it had been hiding in our homes the whole time? Moreover, the experiment of a “new normal” locked down muzzled population also failed, together with the attempt to introduce Covid passports as hundreds of thousands took to the streets in Britain and throughout Europe in mass demonstrations to protest against the implementation of virtual house arrest and freedom of movement. After this, what comes next, a climate change lock down?
Moving on, Russia, who just by coincidence is another major energy producer surrounded by NATO missile bases and sanctioned hoping its economy collapses and produces another “regime change.” Why does that produce a feeling of déjà vu? How long did you believe a nuclear power would tolerate an aggressive US led NATO advancing towards its border? The last time western armies gathered on Russian borders was in 1941 and that didn’t end well.
Oh the irony, as you cheer for the same Nazis your grandfathers fought against and vilify the Russians who are now having to fight them again. How many of you condemned the previous eight years of ethnic Russian murders in the Crimea and Donbass by Nazi militias who you helped arm and train, but turned a blind eye to the consequences. No crocodile tears and outraged comments from you when Russian civilians were being killed. Make no mistake, in another era the majority of you would be sitting in the same Nuremberg dock as the previous psychopaths!
For the last quarter century you are without doubt the most useless, corrupt and destructive political class in British history. In one generation you have dumbed down the British population to an idiocracy in your ‘Woke’ eagerness to remove the cultural traditions and values of centuries. As suicide statistics soar, mental health issues reach an all-time high and drugs become a lifestyle choice for many to block out the horror of reality, it’s not a diverse and equality multicultural utopia you’ve produced, it’s a nightmare!
And you, the US demagogues and liberal fascist European Commissioners; in two decades your ideologically warped quest for power has not only failed to make the world a safer place, you have brought us to the verge of a nuclear conflict. Between you, you’ve managed to wreck our economies, brought terrorism to our streets and created the worst energy crisis since the 1970s – whilst becoming fabulously wealthy yourselves. Yes, we have noticed. The sooner you’re removed from power, the sooner both we the western populations and the outside world can have a rest from your incompetence and murderous activities!
Meanwhile, as I write from England, outside my window another car with exhaust baffles removed and the window wound down emitting ear-splitting decibels of rap ‘music’ drives past, whilst on the pavement a silent E-scooter carrying a bald middle-aged man with expressionless eyes in short trousers and tattooed legs races by.

I’d move back to Asia if I were you mate.
What an excellent piece. I can “hear” the weary frustration in the writers voice, “see” the contempt coupled with amazement on his face, as I share the observations and emotions so much.
I remember the feeling often surging within, that I came, reincarnated, from another time and World, to stand looking in stunned disbelief at the change in so many people from what I had once known, changed from intelligent, wise, common sense and kindly folk, into todays mass of utter stupidity, cupidity, greed and selfishness; the lethal combination of stupid and malign, surely the most lethal kind of “mind”.
I mentioned to my brother once about the possibility of us returning to Britain for a trip of remembrance. “No thanks Sis”, he replied “I want to remember it as it was once, long ago when we were kids. ”
And I agreed.
Pamela St. Don’t come back. As your brother says, live with the memories, the reality is awful.
Australia is the same. I returned, under sufferance, from many years in Asia to Australia in 2008 and noticed that levels of nationalism, ignorance, and materialism had risen, while critical thinking had lowered.
I now have just a very small circle of friends due to the abject ignorance that abounds. Cowardly compliant sheep that line up to be guinea pigs in a corrupt drug trial just because the TV talking heads tell them to do so.
The health system is corrupted and dangerous to any that fall in to it’s clutches, so too the judicial system; the education system is beyond a joke, and people all over still dream of their next holiday and totally oblivious to the dangers we are all facing.
Poor fella my country.
This state of affairs has developed over at least forty to fifty years, rather than a mere ten. A lot of us have had to live through it all – and continue to have to do so – because it is not just the politicians who are the problem. Being consistent with the analogy presented of an ‘idiocracy’ requires recognition of the mass dumbing down of several generations and the inertia producing role of a too large contingent of the populace.
Describing what is problematic – as is succinctly and cogently laid out in this piece – is, in relative terms, the easy part. The more difficult bit, in relative terms, is navigating a way through from a highly unsatisfactory and dangerous situation towards a more satisfactory and less dangerous state of affairs.
As a mere engineer the two key starting criteria which have always worked for me are:
– Does it work in the real world or does it not?
– Does it consistently do what it says on the tin?
Whilst also bearing in mind the truism which seems to have been largely forgotten by most people under about 55 years of age that no matter what area of human activity one considers there will always be someone/some group or sub group who take advantage to the point of kicking the backside out of it. Whatever ‘it’ happens to be.
And, arguably, the key concept here is consistency. Taking an objective reality and evidence based approach in one area – lets say, the gender issue – is undermined if a lack of consistency under this criteria occurs in other areas – lets say climate change.
It ain’t half hot mum!
At this point – and who is making these observations is irrelevant as the key criteria is the objective evidence and the facts as described – the observations in this article from the World Socialist Web Site are of key contextual concern:
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2022/08/15/yrdq-a15.html
“From Britain to the Balkans, a record-breaking drought is devastating Europe. Over 60 percent of the European Union and Great Britain face drought conditions, according to the European Drought Observatory, in what one EU Commission scientist called Europe’s worst drought in 500 years. Major rivers and lakes are drying up, farmers are facing unprecedented crop failures, and energy supplies are collapsing amid unprecedented heat and lack of rainfall.”
The details sketched out which follow that opening paragraph make sobering reading regardless of what I or anyone else thinks about some Swedish teenager being used by a feudal Western based elite kicking the arse out of something by co-opting it for their own ends.
If we are going to achieve the necessary consistency in our approach to dealing with the complex interconnected set of systemic issues which exist a good starting point would be recognising and accepting the commonality of reality denying delusion between the insistence that TWAW and climate change – however defined – is not happening.
@ David Hansell and Asia Teacher lol
Solving the climate crisis is easy, so very easy, if that is one has the correct information. For that however, one needs to open the Bible where one will find so much history concerning weather problems, its history in fact covers everything we are seeing including the heat wave!!! I do so love its teachings it is why i was required to write the only book on the subject which answers the why of so many tornado’s:
“See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will fully understand it clearly.” (Jeremiah 23:19–20)
But I’ll leave you with something far better to consider:
Recently, a landmark study was published in the journal Science entitled “What Drives Societal Collapse.” In it, anthropologists Dr. Harvey Weiss of Yale University and his colleague Dr. Raymond S. Bradley from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst have discovered, along with many others, that climate change is not unique to our own day and age, but rather it’s been ongoing in one way or another throughout mankind’s history. So much so, in fact, that many past societies and civilizations collapsed under the weight of it all. This startling discovery has stirred the halls of academia with questions and concerns, for it was always believed that the collapse of such societies was the result of social, political, and/or economic factors. This, however, is no longer the case.
“That perspective is now changing with the accumulation of high-resolution paleo climatologic data that provide an independent measure of the timing, amplitude, and duration of past climatic events. These climatic events were abrupt, involved new conditions that were unfamiliar to the inhabitants of the time, and persisted for decades to centuries. They were therefore highly disruptive, leading to societal collapse—an adaptive response to otherwise insurmountable stresses… Climate during the past 11,000 years was long believed to have been uneventful, but paleo climatic records increasingly demonstrate climatic instability. Mulitdecadel- to multicentury-length droughts started abruptly, were unprecedented in the experience of the existing societies, and were highly disruptive to their agricultural foundations because social and technological innovations were not available to counter the rapidity, amplitude, and duration of changing climatic conditions.”
What profound statements to make regarding something that is at the very heart of what the Bible has been saying for the past eleven thousand years.
Get the book Climate Change the Work of God by Gerry Fox and be amazed!!!!
and by the way did you know birds falling dead out of the skies for no apparent reason and tens of thousands of fish washing ashore dead on the shores of our nations is guess what? In the bible as well lol
It’s amazing that what once was is yet again?
This is not an opinion, but a fact: The partd of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is 4 molecules per 10.000. How many of these four are there because of human activity is open to debate.
Socrates said that if you let the wealthiest become the government, they’re probably going to turn it into a vehicle to help them exploit the rest of society. He was given hemlock to drink. Jesus told the money changers that they were desecrating the temple, and chased them out. He was nailed to a cross.
Those whom Jonathan Cook describes as “the most ruthless, the least caring” often rise to power. Our greatest challenge is how to rein these people in.
I would say the “how to” starts with establishing systems. One, a system to recognise these “most ruthless, least caring”, because almost always they can be found to be demonstrating now known and proven characteristics of the psychopath [born with no ability to empathise or in fact have any kind of emotion at all and unable to change or be rehabilitated} : the sociopath {demonstrating characteristics of a psychopath which became entrenched from childhood due to cruelty and shock administered by adults and/or the society they grow up in with a potential to be rehabilitated }, and narcissists.
And just about all the current crop of power wielding politicians of the collective West are at least the latter and too many one of the former two. But we dont know how to recognise them as they set out on their careers of “me, me, me”.
And if we do, {recognise them} we have nothing in our systems to protect us from them. And this is the essential. How do we recognise the mentally afflicted with one or more of these defects, and two, how do we establish means whereby they cannot ever become those in power over us.
And the first step is to determine how we start by facing this fact as the major one to be faced. You cannot effect change until you first recognise where change is required.
At the moment we do at least recognise the presence of these mental defects in those in power. It’s a start, only, but at least we have that. Now to move on.
Identifying psychopaths is scientifically possible. I think we will not advance as society unless we can neutralize
the influence of psychopaths. Psychopathy is a quirk of human personality which is
very destructive of benign social activity and whatever “progress” we may achieve
in our societies.
If you want some insight into psychopathy and its influence in our lives, look at the website theauthoritarians.com.
Robert Anthony “Bob” Altemeyer (born 6 June 1940) is a retired Professor of Psychology at the University of Manitoba. He produced a well-validated test and scale for “RWA” or right-wing authoritarianism. He did extensive research on authoritarianism, identifying the psychological makeup of authoritarian followers and authoritarian leaders. He has devised
a test which reliably identifies psychopaths and has performed many social experiments
with his grad students which clearly illustrate the destructive influence of psychopathic
authoritarian leaders and their unthinking followers in social situations.
His research is depressing, but should be better known. Maybe we can protect ourselves as a society from right wing psychopathic authoritarians, and maybe we can’t, but we should know what science tells us about them.
I agree with some of this writers complaints. The level of corruption and incompetence in Europe and America is intolerable. No sane society should tolerate this. However, the fact that the governments are malign does not automatically make the claims that they make always false, in particular the ones about global warming. The governments can be malignant and untrustworthy, and at the same time the concerns they raise about global warming could also be true. Moreover, the fact that Europe is facing an energy crisis, or that green energy proposals may not work well, also does not prove that the concerns about global warming are false. To debunk the concerns about global warming, one needs to look at the individual claims that are being made for why global warming is happening and explain how they are false.
I also think Britain has changed. In the past, I think the government took itself seriously to some extent and would not stoop to just anything. I no longer believe this. The way Corbin’s campaign was derailed with bogus accusations of anti-semitism (for what goals?) should have created a “Defcom 1” emergency for British politics, but the response has been tepid.
Like every “White “ Commonwealth entity , no party or leader in the UK is allowed to get in , who may badmouth Israel. As you say , Corbin was character – assassinated with claims of antisemitism ,yet Israeli agents were running through parliament influencing elections. Starmer , his replacement? Jewish wife and children, previous Labour candidates /leaders? Millibands .=Jewish . conservatives? Definitely pro – Israel in every way if not part Jewish anyway, Bojo and Cameron etc
Corbin didn’t help himself by sticking with Remainer position or surrounding himself with malign Blairite -types. What do you expect from a frottage- Pervert like Blair anyway. Corbin shot himself in the foot.
The British government has always been willing to bury the Palestinians. However, in the past, I think British politicians would still require a certain level of seriousness about British interests. Today, though, I don’t see much evidence of this. Is Britain a sovereign state? A foreign government seems to have captured the British state, without creating much push-back so far.
He who controls a nation’s money (i.e. the Bank) controls the nation. — Rothschild.
We cant continue to work in negative mode: Prove this lie is not true. Next we have another lie you also must prove is not true. We cant work that way.
Whats your problem with global warming? Is it too hot for you? Then move toward the poles until you are satisfied. Lack of water? Then move to areas where there is plenty of water. Your stiff pipes crack because the permafrost is melting? Make flexible pipes.
Diesel trucks are destroying the planet with their CO2? Are you kidding me. You are bored at the office? Move out get another job. So whats the problem with global heating, I dont get it.
If an issue is important enough, then a society needs to spend the time and effort to analyze it properly and professionally. (Why has Russia’s SMO been so successful? Because the Russians did their homework, at least in terms of designing their military.)
The people raising the alarm over global warming say it will make parts of the planet less habitable, disrupt weather patterns, and create food shortages. What alarms me is the prospect of feedback loops and “Runaway climate change”.
The Earth is not Venus. Venusian atmosphere has positive feedback due to its chemistry (mostly sulphur dioxide) and receiving 2x as much sunlight per square meter.
The Earth’s atmosphere is a negative feedback system, which brings about stability.
There’s not going to be a “runaway” process on temperature. And the water vapor condensing into rain clears our atmosphere of sulphur dioxide.
Learn some REAL science.
@Tommy
Life is far more abundant and diverse in the equatorial regions of the earth than the colder higher latitudes, either North or South. Ever wonder why hardly anyone lives in the Arctic, Northern Canada or Siberia ?
CO2 levels at 0.04% have enhanced photosynthesis by plants to produce the highest crop yields on record.
Yet we are told there is a food shortage and people will be starving. So how come the price of wheat is coming down ?

correct me if my logic understanding is flawed.
when I see that bagger 288 megamashine from Krupp Werke, I get an undrstanding of just how much biomass that have accumulated for 100 million years. And if we understand this planets animal/plant duality jfr the carbon cyclus, it dictates that all this hydrocarbon biomass have been harvested out of the atmosphere, down into living animal and plant tissue via clorofyll and sunlight.
the ice core samples, and those thin wafers of rock, tells us that in those times with enormous bio generating, the co2 ppm was up to 1700. and sahara was green. Now we are down to 400-and-some ppm. I belive photo syntesis stops around 180ppm. we are close to where the planet simply stops functioning. please someone correct me on those numbers…..
the reference to the movie idiocracy comes close. Brawndo….. what the plants crave…..
so in clear text, when I burn gasoline, I am putting co2 BACK into the atmosphere, to where it came from, when the planet was humming along and generating all that biomass. As Spock says… logic dictates, all that hydrocarbons could not have ended there, if it wasnt in the air to begine with.
As I see it, The Great Resetter Of The Ongoing Ponzi Game…. total war…. has been off the table since the trinity test. The red shield will in case die with it, so it is per now off the table. So this is just a way to make sure the masses will still pay in to the Crown. Its all a big scam.

There are 3 basic climate science principles: -1) Climate science is in it’s absolute infancy.-2)The climate is so complex it is impossible to model or predict. -3)The inherent complexity ensure it will always be changing and nothing man does impacts that.

I agree with Edward that the fact of malignant, extractive and exploitive economic systems backed by armies does not mean that the science of human caused global warming is false. The ‘death for you , money for the few” Machine loves science as a tool of profit, and denies it when it gets in the way of profit. Neither do false solutions to the planet’s raging fever mean that no medicine is needed. This lingering denial that CO2 has a long geologic history of producing powerful climactic changes is as goofy as flat earth theories.
I don’t know if there is any historic truth to the story of the Dutch boy plugging the dike and sounding a warning, but I see Greta Tunberg as a recent incarnation of that story. The writer’s reviling of her person in response to her courageous call to action is trivial and mean spirited and says more about the perils of self righteousness than about this young woman or the very real fact of escalating biospheric destruction which she is addressing with brave uncompromising truth. Denial won’t stop the rivers from drying, the fires from raging , the droughts or the glaciers from melting, or the coral reefs from dying.
Edward Q, art what point in history has the climate ever been static and unchanging.
Evidence shows that climate change is not only NOT new, but in fact, climate change has been perpetual since the creation of the planet.
The point is not whether it is new but what it causes, which in extreme cases, such as we are making with industrial CO2, has been massive species loss where species such as ourselves, adapted to a certain range, tend to be eliminated.. These extinction events are recorded in geologic stratas going back millions of years. So yes, earth’s climate has been changing for millions of years, but that is not particularly reassuring regarding humans now or in the immediate future and inasmuch as human practices are responsible, it makes sense to do anything needed to give our children and grandchildren a livable abundant earth.
If only. Unfortunately, the British state pension even topped up with savings wouldn’t cover the monthly income requirements needed for a long-term residency visa for long. I think it’s a problem with many expats. If the government were to give us £100pw on top of our pensions to go away, they’d save the NHS millions every year and also the local councils in accommodation costs. (Shrugs shoulders), it isn’t going to happen.
Good points, but those addressed won’t read it. Some of those ‘leaders’ know very well what they are doing and are not interested at all. Most (wannabe) ‘leaders’ more or less think they are doing a ‘good job’ and are also not interested. Those leaders who don’t know, don’t want to know. They are fixated on what they want to believe. As if they are part of a cult. In order to stay with it, they must be obedient to the narrative. The question, of course, is how to get people out of such a cult. Not with such a letter I am afraid. Such a letter is more for us, as confirmation to and for ourselves. It is even questionable whether we can bring a ‘normal’ person to us with such a letter. Before you know it, we too are a cult. I agree on your letter, but I think it’s not ‘the way’.
Of course, the ‘letter’ was not meant to be taken in its literal sense, but more as an observation of where we’ve been led and equally, whether through apathy or a genuine wish to create a utopia, where we’ve allowed ourselves to be led.
There are many examples of countries from the previous century who turned humans into indoctrinated ‘things’ and it never ended well. As stupefied indoctrinated western populations cheer for a US NATO led war against a nuclear armed Russia (or China), fingers are hovering over little red buttons as we speak …
I recently came across this short video which for me sums up the loss of our humanity and can any civilization survive this level of decline?

Thank you for your comment and ‘connection’. Rarely do authors respond to comments as if they were just giving a monologue and that’s it.
I think we agree on what’s going on. My point is “When you do something, the best thing you can do is make sure it has a big and profound impact.” As mentioned, I see the letter more ‘for us’ and a letter to the addressed ‘leaders’ could have a different content.
That is, IF you do something like writing an open letter to “those criminals and wannabees.” I wrote some emails to several members of the Dutch parliament. Always focused on addressing their conscience. Never got a response.
Today I showed my ‘friend’ the percentages of last year’s falling birth rates in several countries where there has been pricking. This decrease ranges from 6% in Norway to 27% in Taiwan. My friend can find all kinds of explanations, except the possibility it has to do with the injections. My friend is smart, but still the cult has a massive grip over my friends believe system. The same goes for most politicians. They are not stupid, but they are blind and deaf to what they may believe from themselves.
Every now and then I try to wake people up, but I come to the conclusion it never works. When people don’t search from themselves, I cannot wake them up. In my country the lot thinks vaccination is good, there is a climate problem, Russia is bad and changing gender is normal. Okay, there are more people who wakening up, but they do that themselves. The more I push my friend, the less he listens.
I don’t want to criticize you, but only share my experiences and insights. I don’t know (either). Maybe just watch this show and hope it ends soon. Everyone ‘has to’ do their own thing.
Authors generally don’t respond because we’re not writng for a forum, although we do welcome comments and read them. We simply have something to say and tend to stay away from getting involved with arguments. Had I sent my ‘letter’ to the authorities it would have contained stronger language than it did! If you’ve been writing to politicians about the concerns you mention it’s not surpring you didn’t get a reply, but be very sure you’re now on somone’s ‘subsersive’ watch list.
That Hedges video reminds of Adam Curtis long documentary “The Century of the Self”, which available on the web
I wonder where Europe would have been economically & spiritually today, had they NOT bowed to satan’s empire, the US.
And suppose that Europe did rebel – what sort of nasty things would the US do in response? Would it attempt ‘regime change’ a la Iraq, Libya and Chile?
Probably still fighting wars among themselves and attempting to colonize the rest of the world like they’d been doing for centuries. The US simply followed what it learned from Europe but just did it bigger. To pretend that Europe was some innocent flower is ridiculous. You should read a history book about how Britain treated its colonies, what the Conquistadors did in South America, the Nazis in Germany, the Crusades, etc etc.
Brits did a great job in East Africa. From when we went to Kenya in 1939.. (actually from the 1890s), they built road, rail, airline, airports, ports, hospitals, communications, law and order, education.. sure they separated black, brown and white into different schools, but educated all. Even had special laws for different tribes, such as for those who practiced polygamy. On the white owned farms, workers needed to be paid, clothed, fed, medicated. On the massive British owned tea Estates, workers received the same. I don;t see much wrong with that.. it was quite the opposite in the Fr. and Belg. African Colonies.

From the comments here, it’s clear there no ideas on how to proceed at this point. Tiresome circular lamentations.
I’ll say the unspoken. It’s too late for the western populace. There is nothing you can do.

Await the extinction that sets you free.

There are an infinity of things anyone can do other than lament complete powerlessness. I spent years in A.A. being told that I was “powerless” over and over.
Nope.
What can you do?
Absolutely brilliant! I applaud you! I wish we could remove these psychopaths from power.
Thank you for your courage to tell it as it is.
Curious choice of ‘Bob the Builder’ for a thumbnail. It did catch my attention admittedly – is that the purpose?
Part of the image is missing as it’s been cropped. The sign on the right should read ‘UTOPIA.’ Bob the Builder gleefully creates a British utopia with a rainbow flag on the rooftop.
A very good assessment of the West today . The white man stole the earth and has now squandered their wealth in a financial mafia enterprise. That replaced kings, colonialism, imperialism and capitalism, but is the same thing.
These few people have never cared for society, and we will pay the price. As a result , the West is doomed.
Sing, oh Nightingale sing!
We would need 10,000 teachers like this to speak the truth fearlessly before the war criminals are exposed. You know. They own the guns and the newspapers.
Way I see it is it’s a car wreck in process and I’m looking to get out alive and in decent shape when it wraps around the tree, I’m only an unwilling passenger. I’ll take what members of my family I can save with me and keep an eye out for others making plans to save themselves, maybe we can be of use to each other. To the greatest extent possible I ask for nothing from government and give them nothing, that’s where you begin, making government irrelevant to you personally. As for the “citizens” you take them individually, each according to their own merits, and a good chunk of them you don’t take at all.
:( My old friend once said about officials in my country: There have always been many fools and a…holes among officials, this is a given. The only question is their number. Now they have bred like rabbits.
And the teacher should return to Asia if possible, while it is still possible. When Europe falls (and Europe will be the first, since it is precisely this fate that was determined for Europe a long time ago), the Sh…t here will flood everything and everyone. We are all now friends in misfortune. But most of the fools in the world do not see this and do not even understand.
Love it.
Well written, Asia Teacher! Looking forward to more from you.
Liz ‘Maggie’ Truss can turn this around.
When the boss, numero uno, fails bigly, it’s obvious his No.2 & 3 should contest the leadership breach and continue in a similar vain, even double-down on promoting up shit creek no paddle failed policies.
You gotta give the united sheeples what they want . . . . . a good shafting. bamboozle them with bullshit using big ‘wurds’ that sound important, as you disappear their/childrens futures.

I suppose if she can bring in a good British Business Ambassador, someone who doesn’t perspire, is awkward around the dance floor, who can look you in the eye and tell you. OK, look, I off my face on crack with Hunter Biden when we double-teamed underage hookers on Epstein Island, someone of the calibre of Prince Andrew, we could possibly see some early green shoots . . . . or at least some adult pics from the photo shoots.
Don’t write off Blighty though, one day we may again rule the waves, the waves of any future talent escaping ‘The Rock’, as the City of London vultures scarper out the side door to their NZ bound jets, leaving in their trail a dead eco system that once ruled roost over an Empire, similar in size to that of Russia.
How the mighty have fallen from grace, unceremoniously banished to the status of 3rd rate, resigned only to the occasional walk on cameo roles, like that in Ukraine or whenever the US gets a hard-on.
On YouTube, I listen to a young man who has returned to Moscow after living quite a few years in Canada, he studied in the US as well and also in Malta and he interviews people that have returned to Russia after X number of years living abroad (сФилином). The interviews are of course in Russian but he also has an English channel (A Russian Opinion) and he has a few interviews in English (including an interview with journalist Eva Bartlett).
The most interesting part of these interviews is that all the people that he has interviewed all agree that Russia is getting better in all spheres and they have absolutely no regrets coming back! It’s totally the opposite of people coming back to the so-called civilized West!
I spent several years living and working in China and have also visited Russia, before and after the collapse of the USSR among other ‘eastern’ countries. They don’t resemble anything like the image portrayed in the western media. Outside the west, the cultural revolution going on here is virtually unknown and is looked on with horror. The social engineering of societies has a long history of failure in the 20th century and when they eventually collapse leave behind them a chaos that takes a generation to repair.
The regime change in Russia won’t occur due to “sanctions”. Unlike the middle east countries, Russia has the capability, the resources and the talent to produce everything that they used to import and much more beyond that. So the Russia could live without the West just fine. The West, however, without Russia is doomed to slow, lingering death. My only regret is that, thanks to the quinslings who were in power, my country is on the wrong side of the history.
WWII veterans state periodically, that if they knew what was gonna happen in their lifetimes “to the west”, they would have stayed home on D-day…
I’ve heard them say they’d take up arms for the other side too.
Big mistake, my friend.
You’ve gone back to the “constitutional monarchy” that has no constitution, in command of the “rules based international order” which has no rules.
Here is the latest ship of fools in the Empire, today operating in Australia:

The wicked old woman is completely out of control. And EVERY politician says the same lie: “I didn’t know!”

If one has ever read the Brotherhood by Steven Knight one will quickly see whats going on in Australia.
Its a club you know and your not in it lol!
One could also just go here and look at the pictures provided:

what angers me however, was some years ago a commentator at the ourfiniteworld blog mocked this Morrison as a Christian fundamentalist but something didn’t sit right with me and so voila.
Well said, Asia Teacher.
I too have been living in the East for well over a decade. I hadn’t been home for a few years and when I went back 3yrs ago, I found the changes that I’d long noticed taking shape had matured and had so permeated the social circles I was formerly a part of that I quickly realized I was an “Outsider”. Perhaps only the outsider I had become c/would notice.
Though I had doubtless also changed, the overwhelming impression was that the country/society I grew up in, and was a product of had disappeared – replaced wholesale by alien notions and ideologies. With retrospection, I was able to map the replacement temporally and programmatically, but that did little to assuage the dissonance. I had a passport that said one thing, a mindset that was at least partly Asian, and so I felt myself hovering somewhere mid-ocean. Literally neither here nor there.
I concluded ’tis better to be a stranger in a strange land than a stranger in one’s homeland, and so I’ve resolved to live out my days here. My perspective, however, remains mid-ocean and from there I’ll watch the bonfire of the inanities burn.
Adam Smith famously said that “there’s a lot of ruin in a nation”. All the more ruin in a civilization, I’d warrant. Though it isn’t an infinite amount, I doubt I’ll be around to see all the embers die out.
It’s also been said that societies fail when their elites fail, and the West’s elites are failing with every word and every step. So badly, and in so astonishing a synchrony that in fact that one is hard-pressed to see it as a purely organic development.
Yes, you’ve experienced it yourself then. Social engineering is a seductively slow process and many of those living within in it don’t realize the gradual changes. We who returned can see it, but those of the millennial and Gen Z generations have no point of reference with which to compare. What was abnormal 20 years ago is now normal. I’ll stick with philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti: “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
Such a nice opened letter. So realistic. Everything seems to be so dystopian ☹️
im from canada, im 24 i feel completely hopeless for the future. i need some advice or some hope lol
Greetings to you, dman.
The future does look hopeless now, because what lies beyond it isn’t in view yet. For a young person, I’d quote the Scripture, that Noah kept releasing a raven from the ark, and the raven kept returning, “because she found nowhere to set her foot”–since the Earth was covered with water.
Then one day she returned with a fresh olive leaf in her beak. And the next time she was released, she didn’t return.
Sometimes I think it is like that for your generation.
Right now you aren’t in a position to plan for the future because the current order is dying, and it isn’t clear what will be established in its place. How could you plan for something that you can’t see?
Therefore: conserve your health as best you can, learn as much as you can during this in-between time, and cultivate relations with people of all ages who have some emotional and intellectual depth. Don’t mind too much if you have to do jobs that are low-paying or not intrinsically satisfying; that can be a helpful way to stay out of a poisoned social system. I knew someone who worked as a busboy because he wanted to be able to think.
What rescued me from despair when I was in my late twenties was finding the Orthodox faith, because of the beauty and the meaning it gave me an entrance to. Without beauty and meaning I would have found it really hard to keep goin. Try to find what will do that for you.
I am almost sixty-four now but I can well recall being twenty-four, and how horrible it was. “What am I going to do, I could live for another seventy years. I can’t bear that much more of this.”
Your outlook will change as external circumstances change; you are a young person enduring a particularly ugly and stupid bottleneck socially, but it will not always be like this. And your personal grounding will change in your late twenties: this happens to everyone. The personality is confirmed and consolidated; and sometimes it just jumps tracks into who the person is, instead of who they’ve been told they are.
Live in the present as much as you can, keep your eyes and ears open, and then when the pathways are easier to see, you will be ready.
The worse thing there is that one leaves their homeland as a young adult for a “better life” and returns to the homeland almost 30 years later with very high expectations just to encounter that “me fui de Guatemala para regresar a Guatapeor”.
When will the rage rise and remove the governments of the West? That is the only question in the West that needs answering. Whining will get everyone nowhere.
Is it the “gvmnts” though?
Is it not the whole set of institutions intertwined?
The “long march” has been completed. They won. What you see around You is the complete overtake of all the centers of life-support your particular lifeform(nation, ethnicum) requires to live(dictated by the geography) – by another.
This is a quote from Stephen Steinlight of the Center for Immigration Studies:
“I’ll confess it, at least: like thousands of other typical Jewish kids of my generation, I was reared as a Jewish nationalist, even a quasi-separatist. Every summer for two months for 10 formative years during my childhood and adolescence I attended Jewish summer camp. There, each morning, I saluted a foreign flag, dressed in a uniform reflecting its colors, sang a foreign national anthem, learned a foreign language, learned foreign folk songs and dances, and was taught that Israel was the true homeland. Emigration to Israel was considered the highest virtue, and, like many other Jewish teens of my generation, I spent two summers working in Israel on a collective farm while I contemplated that possibility. More tacitly and subconsciously, I was taught the superiority of my people to the gentiles who had oppressed us. We were taught to view non-Jews as untrustworthy outsiders, people from whom sudden gusts of hatred might be anticipated, people less sensitive, intelligent, and moral than ourselves. We were also taught that the lesson of our dark history is that we could rely on no one.”

The immigration/invasion process is only one flank across the entire front of operations. I won`t bore ya.
The perpetrators appear to be the same – ALWAYS. No exception.

Great letter! About psychopaths and the next Nuremberg, things are far worse than most imagine, ahem ahem if I may…
Here is an open letter that I released recently y’all might find a most interesting perspective on the past 3 years plus…
The following are links to an open letter to the US government, Russian government and the international “intelligence” community.

You see in the summer of 2019 while in Moscow (and before in the US) I was manipulated into going public as a target individual, mind control victim (the “Black Swan” event of 2016) and geopolitical pawn/hostage since childhood. They literally hijacked my life and that of my family. So credible was my claim that shortly after the US ambassador to Russia resigned, I was poisoned and COVID 19 just happened to sweep our society into an Orwellian nightmare…
Fun fact: I posted a single sentence about this here in 2020. There was only one response… “no you didn’t”.
“We are way past McCarthyism folks, Dr. Mengele would be proud” – me 2016
