Same reason Germany was able to bounce back to an industrial power house post WW2….everything was bombed to shit, except those industries and complex’s owned by US oligarchs or joint venture industries. My understanding is that Russia has been destroying such facilities on a regular basis, but the “things to do” list is long and will take some time to complete. As we are seeing, the war will not be won overnight, as some observers had predicted.”
This seems reasonable. The scheduled targeting has no doubt been carefully planned to prioritise some objects ahead of others. Fixed objects such as the factories are “going nowhere” whereas large stocks of ammunition and fuels can be transported away to combat units and thus are probably targeted first every time.
No idea at all, but I know that the time is ripe for Russia to make clear to the Americans and their European allies that nuclear war faces the world, with the USA being the FIRST target.
Only when this message of imminent doom is received and understood by Americans is there a possibility of meaningful peace talks.
America neither knows nor understands the horrors of war on everyone, hence the cavalier attitude of its politicians to war, destruction, and bombing other countries into submission.
The world needs Russia. The world needs Russia, aided by its allies, to make clear what the future holds if good sense fails.
They already did that and the UKUS go the message and backed-off.
It was the simultaneous deployment of the whole of the Russian Navy prior to the action on the ground. You can be pretty sure the message was delivered.
One wonders whether the experiments conducted in the biolabs on the territory of Ukraine make Mr. Ze a war criminal. When did Mrs. Nuland first learn about the labs, and why did the US State Department approve the presence of the biolabs on the Nazi-infested territory of Ukraine? This is worse than Dr. Mengele’s “studies.”
First, the US proclaimed Geneva Conventions obsolete, and John Yoo, the apologist of torture, was awarded a professorship at Berkeley. John Yoo is Emanuel S. Heller Professor of Law. Amazing!
Next, the US has gutted international law and initiated several wars of aggression, ruining five countries, mass-murdering their populations, and stealing their gold (Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria).
Finally, the US has Nazified Ukraine and established a network of illegal bioweaponry labs there. What can we say?- Mazel Tov, Ziocons and War profiteers!
Those are ‘moderate’ biolabs in Ukraine Anna, didn’t you get the memo, so no worries? Says so on the label which has a human skull and 2 bones in an X shape (whatever that means). Made in USA, therefore must be kosher; on one of the test tubes there’s a label ‘ warning, for external Slav use only’, whatever that means. Hunter Biden’s written a piece on this in the WaPo, says there’s nothing sinister going on in those labs. I trust Hunter now he’s been off crack for 6 weeks.

Agree with Martyanov, nobody can establish the cause of Moskva’s fate except Russia MOD.
US DOD today came out with two Ukrainian missiles as the cause. Trust but verify, evidence please? Thousands of Ukrainian marines are surrendering, did US DOD tell US public that truth? US DOD has never divulged its involvement with Ukraine genocides? Truth from US DOD? Nuts.
Despite Japan was losing WW2, US decided to nuke Japan’s population to shorten the final days. Ukraine has been proven very brutal against its own population. May be ?????
The war was completely over when Japan was nuked. That was Truman demonstrating to Stalin that the Red Army would not be permitted to roll over Europe. That was also Truman the absolutely cold-blooded demon showing his true side, an FDR in spirit.
FDR exulted at the 3,000 drowned and blasted and burned at Pearl Harbor that the US was finally in the war and at such a small cost.
Demons are always eager to deal in the lives of other people.
Ditto for 9/11, except civilian goyim this time as the pretext for the Jew tail to wag the US military dog to destroy the entire Mideast in yet more wars of aggression. Was it Albright or Kissinger who rhetorically asked why have a military if you don’t use it?
If there are thousands of mines freely floating about everywhere in the Black Sea, then yes it’s possible. But, if only two or three, then what are the odds of one of them hitting a ship? I would say, “Nearly impossible.” I would hate to have to depend on a few mines hoping to sink a few ships.
Is it true that Russia today, for the first time, used TU-22M3’s/FAB-500’s to completely destroy the Azovstal plant in Mariupol?
Can someone please confirm and provide details?
Is Russian sarcasm better than English sarcasm? What about Russian subtitles for you, that would be fair, no?
As 90% of Russians or so would agree with Mr Martyanov’s sentiments, his target audience in his fight to get across his message should be Europeans/Westerners, who are heavily restricted from viewing such content, truthiness!
His quaint accent can be understood by any English speaker where for years here in England they’ve been mimicking Russians speaking English, not in bad way, in fact the opposite, in an endearing way ( Abramovich, ex Chelsea owner and Arshavan who played for Arsenal are both cult, cherished figures still for those clubs and predominantly responsible for the goodwill banter), his delivery and mannerisms are all part of the show, package. Like the Benny Hill musical introduction a few weeks back, for example, classic slapstick but deadly serious.
Pains me that I can’t read Russian as I’d like an hourly update on who, what, why, where and when, 24/7. How many Nazis surrendered, dead, will Ukraine/US be paying their loved ones a compensation package? 100 metre gains north, west, east or south. Listening to all the witnesses statements, testaments. Names and details of all foreign captives . . . . . . .
Anyway, is it because your English isn’t so great or you feel if he spoke in Russian it would improve his message?

Could Moskva (Slava) have been hit by one or two Harpoons from the Kogalniceanu base? If sufficient proof emerges that this is so shouldn’t the appropriate response be a little direct and decisive “attention” to that base?
KURSK sunk from an old torpedo not being serviced adequately.
It may have even been a defective batch of explosive in it too that didnt remain stable as long as it should have.
Not enemy submarines or crew error.
These old ships and subs can present problems.
Sometimes there is corrosion / metal failure inside a plate of steel that isnt detectable on the outside.
And if you get leak of fuel or steam / water (in subs) etc then it becomes dangerous in pipes. Also an air fuel ratio mixture will ignite.
RKR Moskva – we must consider there may have been a saboteur aboard who set the fire. Perhaps even a crew member who innocently brought something aboard that was rigged to explode (like cake from his mother which had been substituted) or even ships stores supplies so rigged.
Most countries couldnt afford to have new equipment like it – cruiser size – only US Russia NATO UK could.
Cost of running even destroyers frigates and patrol boats is bad enough – fuel alone.
The scenario in which someone brings by accident concealed explosives isn’t valid. You have to bring package right into ammo compartment feeding double barrel turret and initiate explosion from there.
What about that US nuke sub that has hull damage and ripped its rubber skin to shreds and had to put into port in Finland for emergency repairs?
Supposedly two US subs were shadowing the Kursk and one of them collided with the Kursk hitting it at such an angle it ripped the Kursk hull without itself sinking or, maybe there are two submarines sunk there. I would even believe the Kursk was deliberately torpedoed. After all, at that time, the Jews in control of the US military figured the Russians could not retaliate. Why wasn’t the bow recovered with the rest of the Kursk? What sort of deal making was going on which cannot be blamed on Putin so why not make it public? Why not raise the bow of the Kursk so everyone can see it?
I long for the day of complete disclosure. With his approval of torture, I believe that Dick Cheney as well as old droop-eye cover-up artist Robert Mueller and Larry Silverstein and George Tenet, Gina Hasperal and the rest of the CIA should be at least water boarded for details of who mined the Twin Towers and Building 7 and who was allowed to shoot a missile to kill the Pentagon accountants tracking down the missing trillion dollars that went to Israel, etc. There are loads of people still living who knew something and most all of them approve torture to get information.
It was a US sub hit Kursk, then set into Bergen, 12 quiet funerals. When Russian Admiral said this openly he was fired. D.C. was called and a deal was struck to avoid a nuke WWIII.
Something similar at 9/11 – nuke forces went into alert, Condi Rice could not block a phone chat, step-down was agreed.
In both cases (and earlier with Russian strategic forces Petrov https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanislav_Petrov) we were within a inch of annihilation.
The bow wasnt recovered because they thought there were other ready-to-detonate torpedoes there possibly.
They also wanted to reduce the lifting weight and length for the barge. It was a very large sub – massive compared to std WW2 ones.
If anything Kursk may have been an accident with other subs – using rubber skins may have made them undetectable by sonar to each other in some conditions hence the collision.
Good Sitrep, like usual. But honestly, no state will communicate 100 % truthfully in wartime. So if truth is too embarassing or would necessitate something Russia does yet not want to do (hitting NATO assets) we will not get truth from Russian Mod.For now.
There is another version doing rounds in Russian Telegram, that involves Norwegian antiship rockets, and guidance from UK/USA drone or warplane.
So there are figures of Ukrainian losses until 14 April 2022 claimed
35,431 for Armed Forces
3,428 for Natural Guard Forces
807 Border Service troops
—————————————-
39,666 soldiers
These figures are not Ukrainian official and secret kept loss figures but lilely just another estimated done by Russian military. During military history enemy losses have always been exaggerated and at best only 2/3 of numbers could be true losses. In this case around 26,000 but could be perhaps “only” 20,000.
In reality only numbers of captured enemy soldiers can be counted + found dead bodies.
During the last 83 years we have witnessed weakness of all military powers like US, Soviet Union, Wehrmacht, NATO, Russia, China etc. I think it’s useful for fanboys of military porn industry and warfare generally to stop trusting too much on hype of “our magnificient forces”. Warfare is not as easy as military training and wargame planners are thinking. In real war things are more complicated, chaotic and very much slowly going on than in wargames. Once the war have started most of original plans go to trash or at least should be modified.
“Everything goes as we planned” claim is part of war propaganda. How many times did we hear that “light in tunnel” in Vietnam by U.S forces briefing room?
Are Navy vessels generally becoming sitting ducks in warfare? Remember the H.M.S Sheffield during Falkland’d war 1982. One French Exocet missile and it was all over.
To me when you look at the propaganda technique of the US it is very simple.
Biden’s words that the events in Ukraine are “genocide” is a great example.
What the US has been doing is looking at the situation on the ground and seeing what both the US and Ukraine are guilty of then getting in first to blame Russia.
They done the exact same with biolabs and with at least a dozen developments as the war progressed.
Russia has been too slow at getting in their first with the main narrative and reporting it as news instead. By the time it becomes news the US is already out in front of them.
It is a very simple technique
Just blame the enemy what you are guilty of yourselves. Before the enemy can accuse you of it.
Also while I dont know the details of the fire in the RKR Moskva 2 days ago are but if the cause isnt identified another thing we must consider is that something extraordinary may have happened.
The Black Sea is an unusual place particularly geologically, – something like seabed methane release – a pocket of gas may have been blown by a breeze into the ship thru an open hatch and ignited by something as simple as the kitchen or a sailor liteing a cigarette and its effect a critical area.
Eric Zuesse had very pessimistic view of Putin’s chances to handle crisis Russia itself now and China later is facing. But I don’t agree RF SMO was too early, more likely it was too late, too little and absolutely too slowly.
“However, doing that (removing those individuals from Russia’s intelligence service) will not undo the damage, which has already been done to the prospects for a peaceful future for Russians, after the current hot war in Ukraine. NATO — that self-described purely ‘defensive’ military alliance against whatever countries America’s billionaires collectively decide to become the next ones to be placed upon their regime’s chopping-block, to carve up, carve out, and consume — is now booming as never before, and its expansion seems now to have been greatly accelerated, instead of ended and reversed, as Putin (and virtually all Russians) had been demanding — and as the entire would ought to have been demanding ever since the Soviet Union ended in 1991.”
“more likely it was too late, too little and absolutely too slowly.”
Too late? Based on what facts? Situation is extremely dangerous as conflict can erupt in WW3 in no time. Russia had to prepare itself for that scenario, not to rush early into beating Ukraine, only to be caught off-foot by Western counter attack. For that sole reason less than optimal forces are used, and reserves kept in place.
Absolutely too slowly? Again compared to what? Invasion of Grenada?
Russian strategy is to deplete Ukraine army of fuel, ammo and food. That takes time that is proportion to size of prepared stockpiles. Which has been destroyed methodicaly as we speaking. In real life, food can last couple of months, depending on number of entrenched defenders. More is logistic nightmare. There are medical issues too. Trenches in WW1 was picnic compared to being burried in cauldron.
When the last can of spam is shared among survivors, thickness of concrete in underground bunker becomes irrelevant.
It is absolute mindbogling to read all over again that this operation had to be over in days. Russians send minimal number of troops, so they calculated on prolonged conflict. If they wanted to charge over entrenched, full prepared defence they would sent in at least 1million troops. And lose huge amount of them in tens, even hundreds thousands. Only then, war could be over in week or so.
Cost of such quick victory would be much higher. As probability of unsuccessful attack, leading to catastrophic consequences.
This slow , but sure method is better in every aspect. Mind that Western sanctions would be imposed in either case.
I have commented on the ‘Moskva’ on my blog rather than post an article here. It is too early to know what happened, even if the authorities allow such information to be released.
What I don’t understand, especially as an ex-mariner, is the absolute silence on the fate of the crew. The Russian MoD and Kremlin ought be ashamed of themselves, frankly. I have seen reports that even serving Russian Navy personnel are in the dark. Surely, for the sake of closure, some kind of information is needed, if only given to naval officers, next of kin.
You say in your comment above “..I don’t understand, especially as an ex-mariner, is the absolute silence on the fate of the crew….”.
I remember reading on the day that the MOD stated that the crew was evacuated to the ships of the Black Sea Fleet in the area. The fire put out and was being towed back when it sunk during the storm. Also, as Mr Martyanov has stated on his site – the MOD also stated “the cause of the fire is under investigation”.
I am therefore baffled by your comment as the evacuation of crew was mentioned in several places by the RF MOD on the 14th April. I am sure it will be on their official pages.
Intel Slava Z (on Telegram) – aggregates all the information and had several posts over the last few days stating the MOD had said the crew was evacuated.
Today it has a post – can’t link it – that states:
“Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Nikolai Evmenov and the command of the Black Sea Fleet held a meeting with the crew of the guards missile cruiser Moskva in Sevastopol. At the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Evmenov, informed the crew of the cruiser that officers, midshipmen and sailors would continue to serve in the Navy”.
So all the crew of the Moskva are being informed of their new postings in the Navy. I think we can take from this the Russian MOD tells the truth and we should all wait for the results of the investigation.
Andrei states that the ship Moskva was old and at the end of her service life. Could the sinking have been a Russian ‘false flag’ to use as a reason for attacking certain targets and thus there are no reports on the fate of her crew as minimum were on board and safely evacuated? Just thought I would throw that in the mix. Who knows the reality?
Remember the Maine – When USS Maine exploded due to ammunition faults in Havana Cuba, this was used as an excuse for the Spanish American War in 1898
I would doubt that this was a false flag – most likely an ammunition explosion.
I would not rule out a Ukrop missile strike but this could only have happened with direct NATO intelligence assistance which could be seen as an act of war
Of course nobody outside the Russian MOD knows the full story which may not be told for a long time
Thanks for pointing it out that even the consequences are still far less than transparent, to say nothing of the cause. This current escalation, if it is that, hopefully does not lead to a direct, NATO vs. Russia, confrontation —the one no one can imagine but we are all expecting at this point.
I am looking forward to the war crimes trials and finding out about the NATO commanders or whatever and the links back into those in the West that are pushing the buttons.
The reference to testing biological agents on the mentally ill reminds me of the references in the Robert F Kennedy Jr book on Fauci and the US pharmaceutical complex testing of anti-viral agents on Africans and covering up the adverse reactions and deaths.
The US/NATO is using Ukraine to probe Russian defences. If the Moskva was sunk by a missile (NATO base in Romania etc.), the Russian nuclear deterrent better not face the same fate as the Moskva! Barbarossa 2.0 is on its way. History is repeating at an ear deafening volume.
Maybe this will put to rest the Western/Ukrainian propaganda about the crew of the Moskva being killed in the sinking. There is a video in the original post:
Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Admiral Nikolai Evmenov and the command of the Black Sea Fleet held a meeting with the crew of the missile cruiser Moskva in Sevastopol.
◽️ Admiral Nikolai Evmenov informed the crew of the cruiser that officers, midshipmen and sailors would continue to serve in the Navy.
◽️ The traditions of the guards missile cruiser “Moskva” will be carefully preserved and continued, as it has always been accepted in the Navy.
One the thing Russia will have to watch for all its supplies for every type military equipment is if it contracts out munitions supplies to private companies then they may cut corners to save costs. Not up to standard explosives or failure to check them periodically etc….
Something like this may also be relevant.
Air pressure and temperature & ratios thereof can also cause detonations under certain freak conditions.
Perhaps even the crew were trying to move munitions away from the fire and they dropped a shell etc… or the fire broke out when that was going on under normal conditions.
Hi, Andrei!
Someone posted a a link on a Bitchute channel called Tremregi regarding a potential Russian retaliation related to the destruction of the Moskva ship. According to the text, there was a strong explosion at a RAF base called Welford in the UK, just 2 days after the incident with the ship.
I did google and found the story told by many British news outlet, including videos, but of course they say nothing about a potential Russian attack.
So, We may never know what is really gong on behind the scenes, but just wanted to share with you guys.
Uma arma eletromagnética made in usa/otan,
Does any one have any ideas about why Russia did not bomb the Zhulyansk plant earlier?
Same reason Germany was able to bounce back to an industrial power house post WW2….everything was bombed to shit, except those industries and complex’s owned by US oligarchs or joint venture industries. Gentlemen, we are in WWIII and you are discussion in which language you want it and which subtitles.
Why?
Are you a Russian speaker seeking to improve your English by reading the subtitles?
There is some extra work to add subs, why would you want him to take time from his valuable analytical work, to serve you?
If the purpose of this website truly is to stop the war on Russia, then it is more effective to speak to those involved in making the war. Those involved, for the most part, speak English. The rest of the non-English speaking world, such as most European politicians, are just doing what they were told to do.
No way! It’s not that difficult to fill in the blanks in the machine translated subtitles.
“I wish Andrei Martyanov would speak in Russian. And simply add english subtitles.”
I can see why a Russian would feel that way.
But I think that would considerably lessen his impact on what i assume to be his target audience: Americans and other English speakers.
His English delivery is great!
He is humorous, idiomatic, just far enough off some standard English to make his whole delivery very appealing.
I bet there are few crushes developing on Mr. Martyanov!
I meant: I bet there are A FEW crushes developing on Mr. Martyanov.
And I am one if them. His style and chutzpah are inimitable and his irony dead on.

Is there any good reason why the thing like this will be allowed to continue?

In both cases (and earlier with Russian strategic forces Petrov https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanislav_Petrov) we were within a inch of annihilation.
David Parker:
“There are loads of people still living who knew something and most all of them approve torture to get information.”
Well put, and I agree.
Let’s get to the bottom of 9/11.
For starters.
The dangerous fuel type of the old 1970s torpedoes is said to have been the cause

And all those swine you mention will be dealt with in due course – its in the pipeline.
If the US/UK warplanes truly are supplying coordinates to Ukraine, then they should have no complaints when a few of them get shot down.
Reported this morning in Zerohedge that the Chinese oil corporation CNOOC is divesting of its assets in Zone A and redeploying capital to Zone B locations. Super smart business decision no doubt to remove exposure to asset freeze or forfeiture.

Had been the blueprint of this war.
Or something on board thats reacted – aka Apollo 1 where pure oxygen & kevlar combusted on one spark.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_1
Even a gas release from the sewer system plus a spark or flame may have done it.
Might have been old unstable munitions.
Endless possibilities.
Eric Zuesse had very pessimistic view of Putin’s chances to handle crisis Russia itself now and China later is facing. But I don’t agree RF SMO was too early, more likely it was too late, too little and absolutely too slowly.
https://southfront.org/why-russias-ukrainian-campaign-is-failing/
These guys live on magic dust and chocolate, you can go quite a few years like that, until suddenly one day, you cant go at all.
Nat South
This is Nat’s commentary.

Amarynth
Thank you for this, currently writing up another blog article on the Moskva based on a NYT article.
Thanks Nat South for your piece.
As reported on IntelSlava Z, the head of the Russian Navy met the crew in Sevastopol the other day. There is even a short video of it.

Oh, we will keep posting the public declarations for the simple reason that it is verboten to read ’em in the west.

Did the Moskva have a CIWS (close in weapon system) like the Phalanx? it’s a sort of gatling gun that detects missiles and shoots them down.
Has Russia neutralized the Strarlink Satellite terminals Elon Musk offered to Zelensky??? – That might have guided missiles, spot the ship, etc???
What a video on arm sales! Wow

RKR Moskva –
One the thing Russia will have to watch for all its supplies for every type military equipment is if it contracts out munitions supplies to private companies then they may cut corners to save costs. Not up to standard explosives or failure to check them periodically etc….
Something like this may also be relevant.
Air pressure and temperature & ratios thereof can also cause detonations under certain freak conditions.
Perhaps even the crew were trying to move munitions away from the fire and they dropped a shell etc… or the fire broke out when that was going on under normal conditions.
Andrei
I think the RKR Moskva should be raised if possible sometime later as symbol of this conflict.
If its not too badly damaged and can be re-floated.
Especially given that postage stamp of it that UKN has issued.
Your thoughts ?
