On June 21st, ISIS terrorists blew up the Al-Nuri Kabir Mosque in the Old Mosul area in western Mosul. The mosque is located in the center of Old Mosul, the last remaining ISIS stronghold in the Iraqi city. The Al-Nuri Kabir Mosque was the place where ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi proclaimed a ‘Caliphate’ in 2014.
The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq released a statement arguing that a US airstrike destroyed the mosque.
On the same day, Iraqi security forces (ISF), backed up by the US-led coalition, launched a large-scale advance in order to retake Old Mosul from ISIS. ISF fighters advanced on Old Mosul from the northern and southwestern directions, penetrated ISIS defense lines, and reached the area close to the Al-Nuri Kabir Mosque.
The destruction of the mosque by terrorists is a clear indication of the collapse of ISIS in Mosul.
According to pro-government sources, about 300 ISIS terrorists were killed in the recent clashes in Old Mosul. However, this has not been confirmed by photo or video evidence. According to some sources, the total number of ISIS members remaining in the city is between 300 and 400.
According to pro-ISIS sources, some 36 ISF servicemen were killed in clashes in Old Mosul.
According to official estimates, over 100,000 civilians are trapped in the ISIS-held area. However, experts believe that number to be an overestimation as was the case during the final stages of the battle for Aleppo.
Iraqi forces entered a final phase of their wider effort to liberate the city of Mosul from terrorists. If they entrench in the recently captured areas of Old Mosul, they will be able to set a foothold for a rapid liberation of this strategic area.
RUSSIA AND “ISRAEL” ARE ALLIES IN SYRIA, SAYS THAT TEL AVIV BOMBING HEZBOLLAH IS “NOT AGAINST RUSSIA’S INTERESTS”
The Chair of Russia’s Foreign Affairs Committee spoke effusively about how everything that Russia does in Syria is to “Israel’s” benefit, and that Tel Aviv bombing Hezbollah is “not against Russia’s interests”:
“In a late night interview Tuesday in his Jerusalem hotel, Kosachev said that Russia’s intervention and actions in Syria serve the interests of other countries in the region, including Israel.
“If there will be violent regime change in Syria, we are sure that the new regime will not be democratic at all, but rather someone like Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and that will certainly have a negative influence on all of Syria’s neighbors,” he said.
Asked if Israel – which has reportedly bombed arms depots or convoys in Syria on the way to Hezbollah – is acting against Russia’s interests in the country, Kosachev said, “I wouldn’t say that, but I would like to see closer cooperation.”
…
Regarding the redlines that Israel has set in Syria – that no game-changing arms be transferred to Hezbollah, nor any permanent Iranian presence be established – Kosachev said that while he understands Israel’s concerns and recognizes that it has the right to defend itself, he cannot accept that it has the right to “interfere or be the regulator of relations between countries.””

This is precisely what I wrote about in my March analysis for The Duran:
“Israel and Russia are NOT on the verge of war. They are allies!”:
“Far from being Israel’s hated nemesis like many in the alternative media community wishfully pretend that it is, Moscow is one of Tel Aviv’s closest allies, and this is entirely due to President Putin’s deliberate policies.”

to be 100% correct,
Russia is allies with all human kind, by standing for truth, freedom, justice, mutual respect & peace.
Yes, maybe Andrew Korybko is exaggerating a bit to make a point, but he certainly has a point. And President Putin’s deliberate policies are the right policies, and very unlike Nazi (= western ‘elite’) policies.
yeah I don’t really get it with Russia and Israel – but it would be better if Russia is not somehow an agent of Israel for sure – if Russia is not free in regards to Israel –
And Israel is so awful to the Palestinians and Russia turns a blind eye – it could all end so quickly if the big powers didn’t do that.
Syria to be partitioned?
A compelling read suggest strong likelihood:

Has everyone accepted the utterly ridiculous suggestion that ISIS blew up their own mosque, where the Caliphate was proclaimed, and their last remaining stronghold in Mosul? Just because the US denies attacking it?
ISIS lost all their leaders last week. Russia killed them. Who remains? Stupid, psychopathic young men. Of course they would blow up a mosque.
Rebuild a new and better Mosque that will stand as testimony to the endurance of the Iraqi people.
