Thankyou Saker, not just for an excellent interview but for continueing to expand your message into the more mainstream world. People are waking up to the fact that we are being treated as nothing more than mushrooms and fighting back is as simple as turning the TV off and cancelling the offending publications. Bravo.
Among the papers left by Peter the Great was a manuscript, dated 1722, in which he jotted down some of his thoughts. It contains a brief summary of the Decalogue, compared with the doctrine of the Gospels, exposing the corresponding sin for every commandment. At the end, he added that a sin was missing: hypocrisy, and proceeds to show that hypocrisy (falsehood) is the base of all sins and concludes:
“Christ, our Saviour, commanded his disciples to fear nothing but hypocrisy, when He told them: Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, that is their hypocrisy” (Luke 12:10)” (Boris Muravieff, Gnosis, vol. 3, quoting Sergey Soloviov’s “History of Russia”).
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?” (John 8:44-46)
I can’t imagine Tony Gosling owning anything, except maybe an old 3 Litre Capri. I have come across his name before, but have no idea what he looks like. To be fair he interviewed The Saker really well.
So I did a Google search
I think he may have actually have been a journalist working for the BBC – and resigned in disgust. (Good Man)
He does appear to have an interesting sense of humour but I doubt he has ever got into a Bilderberger meeting. Maybe a McDonalds when everything else was shut but considering he comes from Bristol he’s probably a Veggie.
Brilliant and welcome emergence onto a more expansive platform with a chap from my own tribe back home! I am disseminating to those others shifting uneasily on their heels and uncomfortable with the spoon fed bullshit they find on their TVs and smart phones and papers…The ending was superb. Not a call to arms, but undoubtedly a call to critical thinking and fighting the good fight in the only way many of us can. Bravo Saker!
You listen to it effortlessly, everything the Saker says, adds up, gives a clear picture, makes total sense. You feel at ease, clear-headed and strangely at peace with everything. Looking at that over-sized TV set in the corner of your living room, you can’t help but smile.
“Enough is enough, my dear friend”, one can hear you mumbling, while you grab the piece of shit and throw it out of the window.
Sometimes small actions can bring great satisfaction.
You’re an exceptional man, Saker, and you have all my admiration. I was most impressed to hear you stress here that every folk can do something about this world become insane, which is to never accept, let alone endorse, anything against one’s conscience. THAT is indeed the rock bottom ground for resistance in the indomitable. Thanks a million for reminding us of that truth by speaking it out.
I listened to one of your first podcasts a couple of years ago, and to be honest, I wasn’t too impressed with your delivery, your intonation – the music within your voice. It was kind of like a monotone – a dirge – no enthusiasm – almost robotic.
Have you been taking singing lessons?
Your vocal performance here – was brilliant. You have improved dramatically very quickly.
You are now Ready for Saker TV
You have educated us in “The West” with a different point of view at exactly the right time in human history.
If I hadn’t have found your blog – before the coup in Ukraine – and followed events almost live as they were happening – by what you and others wrote and the videos posted, I and millions of others in Western Europe and the USA wouldn’t have understood what was really going on.
I was precisely thinking that did not seem the same person indeed, perhaps is that he took the questions in advance, since, in his podcast The Saker did not speak ever so fast, sounded always more doubtfull using many ehhh/ahhh as pauses, and even seemed to have another accent.
This Saker besides seems to have a better wishes for Europe than The Saker of always. Just saying…
Same bloke. I am crap at remembering faces, but exceedingly good on voices…and I’m not blind. Has he still got his beard? His wife and kids look lovely.
Have you guys got a new President yet?
I live in England.
What you Americans do is nothing to do with me.
Personally, I prefer The Welsh…or even the Germans.
I also appreciate the advice from Solzhenitsyn you brought up. It’s really the essence of the resistance to this Orwellian distopia! Many thanks for mentioning it.
It’s hard to describe this because sooner or later, absolutely everything is going to go wrong. It just happens completely unexpectedly. The SHTF.
When that happens – you need a Rock – a Saint Peter.
For me it was my Mum. Then she broke her leg, My Dad was in a Mental Hospital, after trying to commit suicide.
Absolutely everything had gone wrong.
I was 15 home alone on a boat over 200 miles from home.
I thought wtf is going to happen next?
So I had to be strong – as I cried myself to sleep nearly 50 years ago.
Still here.
So when it happened to my wife – she broke her leg – hit by a car..
She is doing fine – took her first steps this week since November.
Our 10 month old Grandson beat her by a few days.
My Mum and Dad made a complete recovery…so when you think it is all hopeless – just put all the depressing stuff to one side of your head – yes I will deal with that later – there is nothing I can do about that now…and get on with what you really have to do. Concentrate on what you can do – not on what you can’t.
Be Tough. Be a Rock. Be a Saint Peter
“Peter is a common masculine given name. It is derived, via Latin “petra”, from the Greek word πέτρος (petros) meaning “stone” or “rock”. According to the New Testament, Jesus gave Saint Peter (whose given name was Simon) the name Kephas or Cephas meaning “stone” in Aramaic.”
It is known that the Catholics believe that by calling Simon Petrus ‘founded’ the Papal primacy. It is not how the Orthodox understand it. The ‘Rock’ upon which Christ will build His Church, was the revelation to Simon that Jesus was the Son of God:
“When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew, 16:13-19).
It is certainly how Peter understood it:
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed” (1 Peter, 2:5-8).
“I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount [at the Transfiguration]. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (! Peter, 2:15-21).
The ‘keys of the kingdom of heavens’ given to Peter (and all Apostles) are the keys of interpretation of prophecies. There is a strong likelihood that Jesus made a ‘translinguistic’ pun (which would show that Jesus preached both in Greek and Aramaic). There is still much debate about the Aramaic/Hebraic term p-t-r (patar) encountered frequently in the OT and which means “interpreter of dreams”.
The idea that Peter was the one “to whom first the Father revealed the Son” is late, appearing in the so-called Pseudo-Clementine literature. The first to whom the Son was revealed was Andrew, the brother of Simon, for which he was called ‘The First-called’, (Πρωτόκλητος, Pervozvanny) who tells Simon, then to the sons of Zebedee, John and James, the Boanerges – Sons of the thunder) and then to Nathanael (“Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel” – John, 1:50).
The singling out of Peter sounds rather like a mild rebuke for his still shaky faith still imbued with Judaic messianism. Jesus calls him immediately after “Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men”.
Yemen is not (or was not) simply another shooting gallery event to enrich the arms companies. It (and the states across the Red Sea would be geostrategic treasures to any world force in the process of (Trying) to build a world empire.
Fantastic interview! Absolutely agree on the three main things on a wish list for Trump to achieve: 1) crack down on the deep state; 2) establish a TV channel like RT; and 3) renegotiate a new security architecture for Europe to include Russia and eliminate NATO. The interviewer sounds pretty much like Kevin Owen from RT though :)
Thankyou Saker, not just for an excellent interview but for continueing to expand your message into the more mainstream world. People are waking up to the fact that we are being treated as nothing more than mushrooms and fighting back is as simple as turning the TV off and cancelling the offending publications. Bravo.
This is a good tour of current topics and developments, as Saker sees them.
I always encourage his Podcasts and really enjoy “listening” to the free flow from Saker.
Good questioner, and very useful Q & A.
Rich in Saker’s education and erudition.
A terrific Prologue to the Trump Era.
The Summation of the interview ends with Rules for the Resistance.
A half-hour of good Saker stuff. Like a Monster Drink for the brain.
Really good interview.
Delighted you are reaching an ever wider audience.
And excellent advice re the idiot box!!
“Live not by lies”.

Very interesting combination, the interviewer – Tony Gosling – owns the Bilderberg website: http://www.bilderberg.org/
I was wondering what the English channel was….

what nonsense. This is typical (delightful) Saker – I typed several of his podcasts and there’s no difference…He’s the greatest.
Great interview indeed!
