The US alongside its allies conducted a missile strike by its air and naval carriers targeting military and civil facilities of the Syrian Arab Republic on April 14 in the period from 3.42 am till 5.10 am (MSK).
The Russian air defence systems at the Khmeimim and Tartus air base timely located and controlled all naval and air launches made by the USA and the UK.
Announced French aircraft have not been registered by the Russian air defence systems.
It is reported that the B-1B, F-15 and F-16 aircraft of the USAF as well as the Tornado airplanes of the UK RAF over the Mediterranean Sea, and the USS Laboon and USS Monterey located in the Red Sea were used during the operation.
The B-1B strategic bombers approached the facilities over the Syrian territory near al-Tanf illegally seized by the USA.
A number Syrian military airfields, industrial and research facilities suffered the missile-bomb strike.
As preliminary reported, there are no civilian casualties and losses among the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). Information will be further specified and made public.
As evident by the available data, 103 cruise missiles have been launched, including Tomahawk naval-based missiles as well as GBU-38 guided air bombs fired from the B-1B; the F-15 and F-16 aircraft launched air-to-surface missiles.
The Tornado airplanes of the UK RAF launched eight Scalp EG missiles.
The Syrian air defence systems, which are primarily the USSR-made AD systems, have successfully countered the air and naval strikes.
In total, 71 cruise missiles have been intercepted. The S-125, S-200, Buk, Kvadrat, and Osa Syrian AD systems were involved in repelling the attack.
It proves high efficiency of the Syrian armament and professional skills of the Syrian servicemen trained by the Russian specialists.
Over the last eighteen months, Russia has completely recovered the Syrian air defence systems, and continues its development.
It is to be stressed that several years ago given the strong request by our western partners, Russia opted out of supplying the S-300 AD systems to Syria. Taking into account the recent incident, Russia believes it possible to reconsider this issue not only regarding Syria but other countries as well.
The strike targeted Syrian air bases as well. Russia has registered the following data.
Four missiles targeted the Damascus International Airport; 12 missiles – the Al-Dumayr airdrome, all the missiles have been shot down.
18 missiles targeted the Blai airdrome, all the missiles shot down.
12 missiles targeted the Shayrat air base, all the missiles shot down. Air bases were not affected by the strike.
Five out of nine missiles were shot down targeting the unoccupied Mazzeh airdrome.
Thirteen out of sixteen missiles were shot down targeting the Homs airdrome. There are no heavy destructions.
In total 30 missiles targeted facilities near Barzah and Jaramana. Seven of them have been shot down. These facilities allegedly relating to the so-called “Damascus military chemical programme” were partially destructed. However, the objects have not been used for a long time, so there were no people and equipment there.
The Russian air defence systems have been alerted. Fighter jets are on combat air patrol now.
There were no cruise missiles entering the Russian AD responsibility area. The Russian air defence systems were not applied.
Russia considers the strike to be a response to the success of the Syrian Armed Forces in fighting international terrorism and liberating its territory, rather than a response to the alleged chemical attack.
Besides, the attack took place on a day when the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) special mission was to start working on investigating incident in the city of Douma where chemical attack allegedly occurred.
It is to be stressed that there are no facilities on producing chemical weapons in Syria, and this has been documented by the OPCW.
The American aggression proves that the USA is not interested in objectivity of the ongoing investigation, seeks to wreck peaceful settlement in Syria and destabilize environment in the Middle East, and all these have nothing to do with declared objectives of countering international terrorism.
Currently the situation in Damascus and other settlements is assessed to be stable. The environment is being monitored.
If one takes into consideration the results of this attack, then there was no need for the Russian military to get involved. These results can hardly be reassuring for the Pentagon. I see that the French have, apparently, backed out of the attack. Wise at the last moment ?
Turns out their evidence was YouTube videos and activist statements.
All these dirtbags are full of **it.
Lies upon lies. They had to attack before there was an inspector on the crime scene.
F*** em all.
mod-to note: Modifications made to profanity
With Israel illegally occuying the Golan Heights, Israel and Syria never formally exited a state of war.
Israel has nukes, Syria cannot match that. Their WMD, initiated in an era where the USA was also selling them to Iraq, was chemical weapons. This terrifies Israel as it nullifies their own advantage from their nukes. It is still mutually assured destruction.
Israel has achieved a blistering strategic success, from an objective poit of view, in that not only was Syria’s chemical arsenal decommissioned a few years back, but a climate of intense mistrust has been nurtured so that the UN, UK and French Golems will repeatedly probe and threaten to ensure that Syria can no longer entertain any idea of restarting its program. Russia eve has the unpaid duty of policig it. A Syria bereft now of a WMD, Israel is now secure.
This frames the entire kabuki theatre around these so called chemical attacks. It was Israel’s ploy to firstly get them removed, and then ensure they never return. They are sitting pretty now with their nukes. This recent missile attack was not an empty gesture or without purpose; it constituted the west’s own unpaid duty to ensure Israel’s strategic security.
lmao. Israel wanted Russia protecting Syria? Russia is clearly serious. Reports of talks between Israel and Russia seem to indicate an Israel completely unhinged and freaking out. I think the apartheid state and settler colony of Israel has met its match. God bless Russia.
Israel is one of the four states on Earth that is not signatary to the OPCW. (The other three are North Korea, South Sudan and Egypt.) Which means that it is highly likely (it really is) that Israel does have chemical weapons.
As for nukes – no science, all fiction – a bombastic Jewish bogeyman, nothing more.
Is the Zionist colony in Palestine secure? They’ve murdered 130 Palestinians this week. One day, this will come back to haunt them.
@Lumi
Would you be so kind to explain to us idiots how it was possible that the massive steel reactor cores at Fukushima went straight up in the sky hundreds of meters, completely torn out of their massive concrete foundations if nuclear bombs are fiction?
Hydrogen-oxygen mixture you say? Not possible, the plant was designed to prevent that kind of incident. And even if that had happened the roofs would have popped off and there would been no damage to the cores. Besides, one of the reactors was empty, no fission material in the reactor because of maintenance.
Now you go explain to us what device could have provided enough energy to rip concrete and steel reactors apart and cause the violent lift-off of the massive steel cores.
All that knowing that a Dimona subsidiary sold two ‘security cameras’, weighing a ton, to the Fukushima Dai-Ichi plant, cameras to be placed in two of the reactors.

“Fukushima was impossible. The swamping of the generators by the tsunami was irrelevant, because the real emergency backup systems are driven by steam from the reactors themselves. No electricity is needed to operate three separate emergency systems at each reactor, each of which will keep a reactor safe even if only one works. Interesting it is then that all 9 non electrical backup systems across the three fueled reactors failed. This is technically impossible outside of willful intent, and was likely the result of a Stuxnet virus attack.”
Or a matter of cowardice?
Thanks for posting this Russian report. They confirm what I just speculated. That the zionazi missiles targeting important facilities we’re knocked down, while of those aimed at other less well defended places, some got through, but hitting unoccupied or low occupied facilities, they caused very few casualties.
The Syrians did a very good job defending their people.
The Mafioso agreement between two branches of Kosher Nostra aka Western & Eastern Partnership not to hurt the Eastern Partners’ assets in Syria has been carried precisaly : you don’t hurt our guys and you have the green light to go ahead with your slaughter of whoever you please. Bless U.S. Forces.
Dear Saker community, Salutes! for you all fom the beautiful but vercrowded by massturism city of Lisbon.

On the last night match, news look good for Mother Gaya and humanity. We woke up this morning for a de facto multipolar world. A real Society of the Nations in the making my dears, that will take some time to rebuild and consolidate. The English pirate-colonial Oligarcho-Aristocracy and their fake-money mafia associates will get the punishment they full deserve, after all.
It seems that Trump also knows some chess moves after all, and contrary to some analysis here, there seem to still exist some true patriots in the high rankings of the US military forces (these gents are the sole and truly allies of Trump and the US people).
Last night at 4:30 the US citizens lost an empire (which they were not stakeholders anyway), but won a country.
Thanks for the encouragement, IOC.
I hope you’re right, but I know the cleanup from the “We’re an Empire Now” delusions and perversions of that gloating garbage man Karl Rove may take a while.
You’ll know we’re making headway when “The Empire Has No Lesbos” lecturing the mind controlled minions of empire on the evening “news”.
Rachel Maddow, in particular.
Saudacoes!
It will be interesting to see what happens in the next while, particularly when the ‘armada’ of ‘gunboats’ arrives.
If nothing happens then this may just be the Trumpster saving face, giving into warmonger neocons for the day and then declaring victory and leaving Syria as he previously declared.
Leaving without this attack would mean losing face. Not acceptable to these pathetic cowards.
One can only hope
I share and full subscribe the following:
“BY HENRY MAKOW PH.D.
The airstrike on Syria today had nothing to do with chemical weapons.
It’s more in the nature of a bitchslap, bullying, an assertion of Western dominance, a punishment for Russia’s interference in Zionist expansion. The US, UK, Israel and France are all factotums of the Rothschild banking cartel. This attack and the coming world war is about the shape of the New World Order, unipolar Zionist or multipolar Western & Eurasian.
Watching the TV News Friday, I was struck that the US political elite actually believed the chemical attacks took place, as implausible as that is. The Western mass media is an extension of the Deep State. The Deep State is the network that serves the Rothschild central banking racket. Politicians like Trump, May, Macron and Nikki Haley are chosen for their lack of moral compunction, and ability to lie convincingly. They impose the Rothschild agenda on the people. That’s their job”
Rafael
Nothing needs to be added to this article. It just confirms what I have been writing for a long time. The London and New York bankers will do anything to prevent the political and economic rise of Eurasia. Well, they cannot, short of a nuclear war.
Thank you Rafael for frankly placing the blame where it belongs.
You really think that Nikki Haley lies convincingly? Really?

She is a remote controlled robot, just like Trump.
Faruq: “Viktor, you’re a good neighbor and the garden we share is bountiful. But I’m having a problem with local rodents that are pilfering the crops and ripping up the ground. Can you help me get rid of them?”
Viktor: “Sure Faruq, I can do that. We’ll kill these vermin together and return our garden to good health.”
And so the two friends mutually benefited from the careful plan to eradicate the varmints. But a very large rat and some of his horde showed up and demanded Faruq stop hurting the local rodents which were secretly encouraged by the rat to invade the garden. Faruq resisted, but the rat had very sharp teeth and bit Faruq many times casing him pain and suffering.
“Viktor, help me, the rat is very big,” cried Faruq.
“Uh, let me talk with the rat and see if I can reason with it,” said Viktor.
So Viktor talked with the rat and the rat agreed to not bite Faruq too much.
Viktor: “Good news Faruq, the rat has agreed to not bite you too much.”
Faruq, “Viktor, you promised to help me get rid of the local rodents and I appreciate that very much. Yet this rat is the source of the problem behind the mischief of the local rodents. Why can’t you make the rat stop?”
Viktor: “I fear the large rat, Faruq. His bite is very powerful. I can’t take the chance he and his horde won’t invade my garden and pilfer my crops. How about I give you some sticks that you can beat back the rat with?”
“Sticks? There aren’t enough sticks to repel the rat’s vicious bite. I need something stronger. Look, if we don’t both stop the rat now, he’ll get bigger and eventually will come to your garden someday. Can’t you see that?” lamented Faruq.
Viktor: “I’m afraid of the rat, Faruq. I’m afraid to fight it now.”
And so the rat kept up biting Faruq a nibble at a time, until Faruq was dead. And the rat and his horde moved on to Viktor’s garden, ravished it and Viktor died too.
What is the moral of this little story?
Fight the rat when you can before it gets too big.
That was a bit long winded.
Lions kill cubs not fathered by them, because its too late later; they seize opportunity while the threat is still small. Same message, one sentence.
Your own logic is precisely the reason why west behaves as it does; it is in decline, and the East is ascendant. The cub has to be killed now, before it can challenge the hegemon.
It pains me to say it, but avoiding direct conflict may well be Russia’s smartest move. Absent a pipeline from Qatar to Europe via the Shia crescent, Russia need not now fear being cut off in Ukraine, and losing its European gas market. That attempt to strangle the cub has failed.
Absent the Qatari pipeline, Turkey now has to pivot to Russia, to get any pipeline royalties, and there is Nordstream too.
Obviously Zog won’t give up, but this phase appears to be wrapping up.
This particular rat was at its strongest in the early ninetees, but is diminishing gradually. Faruq and Victor are still alive and getting stronger every day.
Time is on their side as it is on ours…
I suppose if we continue to be terrified by a theatre of the absurd rather than by homicidal mass slaughter, we should be grateful. For a change.
Excellent report and just shows how out of touch the western MSM is on the issues in Syria. Russia gets full marks in my book for not getting directly involved in the western smoke and mirrors operation and I look forward to the announcement that Russia will supply the S-300 AD systems to Syria and those that are under military attack by western interest. As a Canadian I am distressed that my government is so under the control of the NWO NATO gang and look forward to the future that someday the Canadian government will see the light and join Russia with growing good diplomatic relations.
The Canadian government seeing the light? Not likely, especially with Chrystia Freeland (Foreign Minister) having her aphrodisiac excitement with this attack stoking her Russophobia. Canada is pretty much a US state, certainly its puppet.
Indeed, She does not fit my view of my country she seems like she belongs with Harper really. My local MP ain’t bad he belongs there and his portfolio is relevant (fisheries) very relevant here.
Her,she just doesn’t fit, why is she there? And she is so arrogant and smug, I hope she gets fired.
I am surprised to learn that SAA doesn’t have S-300 air defense system at their disposal.
Prohibited by Sanctions.
Now, Russia may give them the S-300.
The layer they need, as Saker said is many more Pantsir-S1s.
These defenses are layers for type of target (platforms), and the low-flying cruise missiles and drones are best taken with missiles and guns of the Pantsir-S1.
Read Saker’s analysis of Russian military.
Yes, but what hurts is when, as with Israeli F16 down, when they can go for the launch platform as well.
That changes behaviors — as we have seen recently.
By staying away from the launch pads (for now) you prevent the hysterics and avoid going to an all out global war. Pantsirs are like a bat, good for knocking the balls down. You do not always have to use the big guns for a gun fight, even the .22 Long Rile often does the job.
Its many years ago and technology moves on,but the Vietnamese with Russian help built a state off the art layered air defence system coveing the city of Hanoi that was blitzed every day,the US had to stop in the end because the price became too high, they lost hundreds of aircraft, including the jet insane McCain was flying, thats the lesson Counties under threat today must learn.
It’s interesting to compare this account with that of Twitter source @A_J_S_B, who was a reliable reporter during the Donbass war. For a full article based on AJSB’s observations of the Damascus bombing see:

I remember a YouTube video of this brash American General claiming we will beat you bla bla bla. He said “They went to school on us over the years”. Bla bla bla.
I guess they did go to school on us.
Mainstream outlets in the USA are crowing this morning, about the great success of the mission. Scant mention of the possibility of the success of the Syrian air defenses are denied by the Pentagon. Where the real truth lies will be revealed as time passes. Fortunately, it appears that there were no casualties. We can all be very thankful for that.
Let them fawn about the ‘great success’. Then, when the next false flag chemical ‘attack’ comes, they will have to explain how that ‘great success’ wasn’t really so great, since the ‘attack’ happened again. And there will be need for another ‘humanitarian strike’ which will also be a ‘great success’. In other words, they will have to keep adding more lies to support the lies. They will have to keep expanding the lies in breadth & depth. Every time they lie, more and more people wake up and start questioning the official narrative.
Some people in this site & elsewhere think that it doesn’t matter and that the populace is totally asleep. I tend to agree to some extent, but eventually people wake up. Massive lies & constant cognitive dissonance eventually leads to an awakening.
Having spent the day today with some educated Brits, they swallow the whole ‘Assad is a monster’ lie without any shred of doubt. To hear me with an alternative viewpoint, they think I am insane.
Naturally, Putin is evil and is on an aggressive land grab, and is hiding under the bed to grab your ankles.
Zog did his work well, they are beyond hope.
Well, what can I say, “educated” Brits seem to fall for propaganda all the time :).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGxAYeeyoIc
The US invented modern propaganda. The Nazis just copied
It’s not easy to claim an invention of a tool that has been used since time immemorial to justify conflicts. However, it was Britain that used propaganda in an industrial scale, especially during WWI, but also in prior conflicts in the 19th century. It was very effective, especially in WWI.
The US used some propaganda during the run-up to the Civil War. Lots of lies, exaggeration & sensationalism, especially on the Union side. It was effective as well.
All in all, and going by the results, I’d say the Nazis were not very effective with their propaganda. I am not sure why there is still a claim that they invented it. Well, scratch that, I know why: it’s a lie to hide the real power users of propaganda :).
Hi Anon,
Goebbels is I think rightly infamous for his modernisation of information warfare based in large part on the British propaganda ministry and US advertising theories. Nazi Germany led the way for the full 20th C integration of modern technologies with the cultural industries (radio, film, television, print, theatre and fine arts) focused on Weltanshauungskrieg or ‘worldview warfare’, the main opponent being not so much the enemy but ‘public opinion’ insofar as it influences one’s domestic population, das Volk. This is precisely where we’re at with today’s MSM and its stupefyingly stupid but unified imperial narratives. Each vassal state’s domestic population, us Hoi Poloi, is the enemy in the full Nazification of the global information sphere.
» some educated Brits «
“Educated”, most of the time, is a euphemism for “brainwashed” and “mindcontrolled”.
Don’t forget, willful liars.
An excellent article detailing the zionazi attack and also providing a comprehensive analysis of Syrian AD assets and capability.

English plot through and through.
Russia must annihilate englabd if russia wants to survive.only ten toplos will do the job.
Blaming jews for horrendous crimes of english and anglosaxon race.
How the Jews have been used and allowed themselves to be used for benefit of paraisitic Anglosaxon race (sic) mod-to note: No caps please.
very true -in fact so called jewish’s lobby” power is a propaganda done by the english race to hide thier nefarious iterference in the american plolicy to influence american domestic , economic and foreign policy for the benefit of england.
1999.
how england has used jews for the benfit of english race only and for deliberatily creating disruption in Europe.
England had threatened israel in 1948 during israeli war of indepdence that england would use atom bomb agaisnt israel unless israel stop ddrowning royal air foarce palnes and pilots who were helping Jordan against israel.
the same england was in upsroar in july 1981 when isrea;l attakced iraq’s nuclear reactor-just check out theier papers of the time
the same ngland was leading charge agasint isreal in june 82 when isreal attacked palestinain terrorists inside lebanon-that was at t time when england was in illegal occupation for malvinas island.
that is short glimpse of how much england and anglosaxon race care about jews and israel.
look at editorails of the times, the newsweek during those crucial perios of june 82 and see how they(the TImes, the gaurdian, BBC, ITV) were suggesting that israel or atleast tel aviv should be bombed.-just chek the british papers and bbc clips from april 82 to august 82.Also check those british bastrds joutrnlism hist in the month of summer 1981 when iraqi nuclear planty was bombed by the isralis and the british were the first-along with iraq -to protest agasint the israeli action.
It is very interesting that the same type of english people(who are anti-communists, anti-blacks, anti-muslims, anti-catolics) started the same sort of propaganda(like used against russians and communists) against The Germans.the Frenchs and Europeans in general. First England did not want germany united(though during cold war it suggested that only Russians are against it). soon after German reunification and even before disintegration of Soviet union ,England changed the lie-tactics(through media and government) against Europe. There is one more thing. nato was supposed to counter warsaw pact, with the latter gone there was no discussion as to nato should be wound uop or not. Europe does not need nato. Europe can have and should have her own defence system as is the Germo-Franco_Italian_Spanish collaboration. that European defence pact must be stengthened rather than germany supporting nato. Actually england needs nato to prop up its nasty influence in military matters. With the help of usa and nato has england been able to prop up her influence. In fact england is ant-Europe and through nato it wants to keep a tab on european affairs and not let Europe get strong on her own. As england can not do this own her own it has let America involved in it(during empire days england hardly shared power with America but it needs America now). Germany or Europe does not need nato. In fact nato is the greatest enemy(through england)of germany and europe. How can england be so much anti-Germany,working dso much against German interests and be a major parterner in common defence pact?It is a ludicrous situation.
Seriously? You expect people will believe this israeli nonsense ? After what just happened.?
At destroyed Syria lab, workers deny producing toxic weapons

BARZEH, SYRIA: Plastic gloves and face masks lay scattered in the rubble of a Syrian research lab destroyed by Western strikes on Saturday, where an official denied the centre was developing chemical weapons.
US, British and French strikes slammed into a series of targets around Damascus that the Western countries said were linked to the Syrian government’s chemical weapons programme.
One multi-storey complex, in the capital’s northern district of Barzeh, had been completely reduced to rubble, AFP’s correspondents saw during a government-sponsored tour on Saturday.
Its roof had been punched down and several walls appeared on the verge of collapse.
Even hours after the strikes wrapped up, plumes of smoke wafted lazily up from the building and a burning smell still hung in the air.
“The building had three storeys: a basement, ground floor, and second floor,” Said Said, an engineer who identified himself as head of the centre’s paint and plastics department said.
“It had labs and departments that were unfortunately completely destroyed, with all their equipment and furniture. Thank God, no one was here,” he told AFP.
The bombardment, including both cruise missiles and air-to-surface strikes, hit Syria around 4:00 am on Saturday (0100 GMT), jolting people awake in the capital’s nearby residential neighbourhoods.
Syrian state news agency SANA reported several missiles hit a research centre in Barzeh, “destroying a building that included scientific labs and a training centre”.
The site, according to Western powers, was part of the Syrian government’s “chemical weapons infrastructure.”
But Said told AFP only non-lethal research and development was under way at the centre.
“As we work in civilian pharmaceutical and chemical research, we did not expect that we would be hit,” he said.
Instead, the centre had been producing antidotes to scorpion and snake venom while running tests on chemical products used in making food, medicine and children’s toys, according to Said.
“If there were chemical weapons, we would not be able to stand here. I’ve been here since 5:30 am in full health — I’m not coughing,” he added.
Saturday’s strikes came in retaliation for an alleged chemical attack on a rebel-held town east of Damascus one week ago, which medics say killed more than 40 people.
“But Said told AFP only non-lethal research and development was under way at the centre.
“As we work in civilian pharmaceutical and chemical research, we did not expect that we would be hit,” he said.”
The irony is that had they had chemical weapons stored there they’d’ve been quite safe from attack……
This event was about Syria standing up to three nuclear powers!!!
Think about that
They brought down 71 missiles and no one was killed!!
Isis attacked and they stopped them in their tracks
Russia and Iran did not need to intervene
Well done Syria
Trump has alienated his base who see he a big sellout
Mad dog Mathis said this was a one off – suggesting he didn’t want to do it.
No facts are changed on the ground
Saudis Arabia and Israel are disappointed they gain nothing
Turkey should have stayed neutral. All the flip flopping shows they are unreliable
France and the UK have annoyed the public by their arrogance – no support in the uk for this attack
Please Russia – uprate the Syrian air defences.
Saker, thank you first of all for your ongoing insight and analysis. I have not seen this clearly addressed elsewhere so would appreciate your opinion; what was the purpose of this exercise. It appears to be another symbolic act as was last year’s attack on khan Sheikhoun. It has not changed anything on the ground and if early reports are correct won’t prove more than a minor inconvenience to Syria defeating the Jihadis. It didn’t even target Douma to destroy evidence of what happened there. So I don’t see how it created any advantage for the US. At the same time it did carry significant risks especially that of a Russian military response should any of their people been killed even inadvertently. Also, as the article states this act has the Russians now thinking about giving the Syrians S300 air defense systems which they had previously agreed not to do. I did see some speculation that this was engineered by deep state actors to discredit Trump but that makes no sense to me. He did it with the appropriate chest-thumping that Americans like to see from the “leader of the free world” and he was supported by the despicable Theresa May and the French dwarf so appears to be acting in concert with allies. I always tell myself that these people may be crazy but they’re not stupid. Maybe I’m wrong?

Is well presented review of action. An attack seems to have been a wet squib and failed. This has zero to do with the Imperial necessity of subjugating Syria, Iran, Russia, and China – it’s simply a failure of method, not a factor that can change fundamentals.
They have been at it for decades…a single fubar is trivial. https://journal-neo.org/2018/04/14/the-war-in-syria-was-a-us-intervention-since-day-1/
Typically, and many know this, after an attack the attacking force examines the results. If these are not satisfactory, the action is generally repeated…like 911 they have to do it twice, or thrice, or whatever. That, or try a different tactic – bribery, subversions, or blasting at related targets. Stupid, but stubborn. The essence of Strategy is the indirect method. These delusional criminals only know the direct method…what criminals call “smash and grab”. Against a competent opponent they cannot prevail.
I expect that there will be “new chemical attacks” (possibly real ones this time and not necessarily in Syria) and of course more mysterious accident and fires in Russia.
Doesn’t everybody?
Nothing substantive has changed. When people like the hillbilly female Nikki H or the idiot clown Mr T or any of the filthy rich – when all those people are working picking cotton in the Mississippi summer sun – then it will be over. They – none of them – has ever done an honest days work.
Fidel would send them out to cut cane… Stalin? Not so nice as Commandante, they say.
Are the Syrians grateful to Russia and do they understand to what extent Russia is protecting them..??
Here is a tweet from Syrian girl:
“Both #Russia and the #US appear weaker, #Russia for it’s by standing and the US for its failure to cause any damage out of fear of retaliation.”
I wonder what the Russian mothers who lost their beautiful sons fighting in Syria would say to that? Is that “by standing”??
Who provided all that fancy high tech equipment to allow Syrians to defend themselves? It wasn’t homegrown that’s for sure.
It looks like we still have a way to go for this muslim-christian alliance that Sheikh Hosein has talked about.
I wonder what strategic advantage the strike on Syria gave the U.S. Government now that Putin has good justification to bring more forces into Syria? Maybe Trump is working with the Russians afterall?
Trump proves he is more insane than the North Korean guy with the funny hair. Next time, perhaps Putin can arrange for the U.S. missiles to be shot down over Israeli airspace….especially if nukes are involved.
Surprised to hear that Russia has never supplied Syria with S-300’s and S-400’s: should they not have thebest of thebest against such major powers without conscience?
“Russia opted out of supplying the S-300 AD systems to Syria AD systems to Syria. Taking into account the recent incident”
It is so frustrating to read this. What is Russia waiting for? More Russians to die? Russians have been already killed even in the hundreds (taking into acount the “soft” civilian targets from the downed planes, and to see this kind of hesitations makes me wonder what is going on in Putins head. Syria, Iran must have this systems if not better conmsider to get out of it (Syria) so Americans and assorted lackeys give finallt “democracy and freedom” to the Syrians.
“What is Russia waiting for?”
The Raytheon shareholders must get their share of the profits too.
This attack demonstrates clearly once again, if anyone really needs such assurance after Libya, how unwise it is for small nations to give up their weapons of mass destruction.
Had Syria actually had chemical weapons stored in any of those facilities the US would not have dared to run these strikes …. quite simply, the utter devastation and civilian deaths this would have caused across Damascus and other cities would have resulted in an enormous outcry of condemnation right across the entire world from friend and foe alike.
The US knows that – they also know one does not destroy chemical weapons by blowing them up in populated areas, after all, they were involved in the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons. They therefore conducted this “punitive strike” knowing full well Syria did not have any chemical weapons stored in any of the areas they struck.
The rational me says that what Russian Mod is claiming is true because 100 something missiles for 3 abandoned buildings seem like an overkill. So they must have fired something on other targets. But at the same time, shooting down missiles must have videos, photo evidence, debris. So far I’ve only seen the video of one missile getting interrupted and almost no other evidence. Does anyone here got any link that contains some photo/video evidence? Would be nice to see that :)
The Russians don”t have to fight 200 planes with a dozen aircraft. They can hide behind their missile defenses all they want. You have also forgot about the incredibly long range of Russian cruise missiles. They can hit anything in the eastern Med from over the Black Sea with ease. Even if Aegis anti-missile missiles could hit the hypersonic cruise missiles, the Russians would be operating from land bases with rail lines for re-supply. The carrier group cannot be re-supplied with such ease. There would be nothing stopping the Russians from launching barrages of cruise missiles at the carrier group till it was out of any munition capable of knocking down the Russian cruise missiles, and then it would game over. In short, the number of planes on each side is irrelevant, because of the missiles, and Russia has more of them in the immediate vicinity. can my computer support ssd pictures
