Complicated battlefield: Peter Lavelle is spot on about just how fraught with danger this next period is : see below for more information ( some of which is rather speculative)
Welcome to the multi-polar War World where crass talk rules.
Unipolarity, Mulltipolarity, Nopolarity. It’s all the same power game, aka Patriarchy.
If we don’t change humanity, one person at a time, kiss your assets goodby.
The big green money machine with the four wheels of meat-eating, pet-keeping, marriage-mating and interest-taking gonna run right over our stupidity.
The writing is on the wall. The end is near. We’re goin’ up in the fire and down in the flood.
What’s a body to do? Don’t feel sorry; memento mori. We are goin’ get exactly what we deserve according to the law of love where ignorance is no excuse.
To hell with the politicians; I’m listening to the poets and truthers.
“Gonna change my way of thinking
Make myself a different set of rules
Gonna put my good foot forward
And stop being influenced by fools.”
-Dylan
“I’ve got the fake love game down to a t
It’s the great love game remains a mystery
I’m going to get back on track and be just on time
To get on line with the sacred circle and make her mine.”
-thelovegovernment.com
poetry pretty nice indeed.
Now let´s get to political and military analysis.
Make no mistake. We need poetry to live.
And occasionally – like now – that analysis to just survive.
Exceptional analysis on Putin’s state-of-the-naton address by crimson alter, PolitRussia via FortRuss. Highly recommended.
” There will be no hot global war, as in present circumstances this would result in causing unacceptable damage to all participants. We have to live and win an era of hybrid wars which measures the value of the military, economic, technological, and informational components of the enemy. ”
Peter Lavelle, and his guests combine to sell the Zionist medicine of:
1. ‘if only all sides would get together and negotiate a political solution,,,,’
2. ‘the Russians want a negotiated political solution (where everything concerning the Syrian people and their government can be decided upon- and the Syrian Government will have no option but to obey the wishes of the foreign governments.’
3. ‘the ISIS/DAESH terrorists gain from the lack of a negotiated political solution’
4. ‘the American government of Obomber is confused’
5. ‘the Zionist land thieves and their world control (New World Order) Oligarchs [need not be mentioned], as they have nothing to do with the ongoing destruction of Syria, or of the entire Arab World’
The above 5 constants of the Lavelle Shows are all false!
Try these constants:
The War is on!
The only options are victory or defeat!
The Russian people, the Syrian people, the Palestinian people, the Arab peoples, have nothing left with which they may negotiate (they have nothing left to sell)!
The Zionist Oligarchs, and their bought editors of medias such as the “NY Times” and “Huffington Post” and “Wall Street Journal” and FOX and MSNBC, and the others, understand that -All resistance Must Be Crushed.
* The Key Points is: At the moment, the Russian Nation, and the Syrian Nation, and a few others are exercising their only option, — and that is, they are attempting to continue breathing.
Peter Lavelle may be sincere. He may be following instructions. He and his handlers may have no stomach for resisting the Zionist New World Order (by confronting them), and they may be desperate for any kind of deal, where they and their friends may, for a little while, breathe a bit easier, even if the ‘negotiated deal’ they crave may leave the Middle East in ruins, and the Palestinian nation and its people, decimated.
The possibility of such a deal, (between the imperialists, and their victims), is, at best, an illusion. It has always been an illusion. And that illusion is hung onto by desperate people who are afraid to see the hard reality of imperialism. Fear is human. Cynical Misdirection is also human, but it is a crime against humanity (it is the criminal brainwashing propaganda emitted by the Zionist American Oligarchs, and their puppets which hinders the resistance of the victims).
Is it too much to expect Lavelle to invite Noam Chomsky, Ron Paul, and Alan Soral, Dieudonné, Marine Le Pen, any of the other little Le Pens, Edward Snowden, Cynthia McKinney ,(need I mention our Saker), and many others who are in the trenches, to participate?
Charlie Rose and a hundred others CIA TV hosts already have their misdirection shows. Let us have something different Mr. Lavelle, (if you can).
Je ne suis pas Charlie Rose!
What’s the difference if my reality is policed by pro Russian or pro Anglo Zionists?
There’s no difference. They’re all Zionists.
The folks at RT are unconscious worshippers of all things Western. This is why they are permitted to exist in the Anglospere — they reinforce the false dialectics on behalf of the ruling elite.
RT will not help you. If you believe otherwise you are so deeply stuck in the illusion there’s no point trying to pull you out — like trying to help meth addicts see the error of their ways.
This is also why people are so loyal to CIA
disinfo agents like Pepe — 99% of what he says is soothing to his audience so when he whispers the lie you will almost certainly believe. Gilad is another example — the non Jew Jew who obsesses about Jews while never daring to speak of the London oligarchs whose children he mentors.
Well, maybe if RT controlled the Anglosphere, your wish might come true, but RT does not control the Anglosphere. Crosstalk can’t just wave a magic wand and make it go away. That’s why they try to nuance stuff and don’t call things AngloZionist Empire. The reality out there in big medialand is that the term “Anglo Zionist” is considered an anti-semitic slur. It just is. So, you have to watch your “potty mouth” when appearing on these kinds of shows. You better be PC or somebody is going to pull the plug. You don’t want to come on too strong.
No, “Anglo Zionist” could not possibly be “an anti-semitic slur”.
First, the vast majority of Semites are Arabs (!) – and the vast majority of those are against Zionism.
Second, the Orthodox Jews, meaning, the strict adherents of Orthodox Judaism, are equally against Zionism, although for strictly religious reasons. Those in turn are predominant among the Sephardic Jews, originating from Middle East and North Africa, who are Semites. They stand in stark contrast to the Ashkenazim Jews, originating from Eastern Europe, who came into existence a mere 1200 years ago by mass conversion of Khazars to Judaism for political reasons, and who dispersed through Europe upon the dissolution of Khazar kingdom, in XIII century AD. A majority of Ashkenazim (Khazars) today seem to support Zionism.
Third, the term Anglo-Zionist – which is correctly used by Saker and by others, on this site and elsewhere – is solidly rooted in historical fact, and thus by no stretch of imagination could be a “slur”. Among other sources, this point is succinctly explained in the scholarly article (quoted earlier on this site) Who is the Enemy? by French researcher Thierry Meyssan, writing from Damascus, http://www.voltairenet.org/article184973.html .
Yeah, yeah, blah blah, tell that to Rupert Murdoch and George Soros and any number of other owners of MSM media outlets. They don’t care about your facts.
C / eh?
We have to be our own heroes– figure out how to fight back here in America. No one else is going to save us. We have the honor to fight for the reinstatement of liberty in our time. Do it or admit you’ve surrendered.
Multination trade associations like WTO or EU’s trade provisions impoverish the least developed nations because they are not permitted to protect their infant industires or their less mechanized agriculture. That’s why all of Southern Europe has been impoverished by EU– and why only Germany has done well. So what does Putin want? A free trade association, and eventually to join the EU– a free trade association across the whole continent.
NATO is evil, has enslaved and destroyed as much as possible. Putin wants to join it.
The IMF/Fed system is the means by which most nations have lost their monetary sovereignty. Putin has praised Nabuilina for carrying out its dictates by the Russian Central Bank. All Russian economists have stressed the necessity to take back from the IMF the govt’s authority over her own central bank & therefore of the creation of money and credits. Putin has not supported this even verbally.
China has chosen to “open up” her industry and interbank processes, and to privatise her state entities, etc. in order to more deeply integrate her economy into the IMF system. Li Keqiang, head of the Communist party of China goes every year to the Davos meeting of banking insiders (oligarchs). This year he gave a paper there.
The BRICS New Developm Bank, etc are dollar-denominated. They are in no way an alternative to oligarchic structures. Nor do they in any way argue for or facilitate the resumption of any lost aspect of the sovereignty of nations. Much “alternative” media has misled you in this regard. I don’t know if that is purposeful or thru a lack of simplest research. http://www.globalresearch.ca/brics-and-the-fiction-of-de-dollarization/5441301
March 2013 Putin : “BRICS members advocate the creation of a more balanced and just system of global economic relations. The emerging markets are interested in long-term sustainable economic growth worldwide and reforms of the financial and economic architecture to make it more efficient. This is reflected in last year’s joint decision to contribute $75 billion to the IMF lending program, thus increasing the participation of the fastest growing economies in the Fund’s authorized capital.” http://www.rt.com/news/brics-multipolar-world-putin-635/
Nobody said a multipolar world was a perfect one. Or even a really good one. It just seems a lot less bad and fairer.
As for things like Putin wanting to join NATO, well, that would kill NATO. What more could you ask for? As for things like the Eurasian Union’s approach to free trade, so it is mediocre. How could it not be? Putin is not even dictator of Russia, let alone Eurasia. And a deal between the EU and the Eurasian Union would not at all be like joining the EU. If you were the leader of Russia, what would you try to do to lure European leaders away from a policy of hostility to Russia to one of mutually profitable engagement? In other words, is there a better choice? And who wants a collapse of the dollar? The rational or sane approach is to try to lessen its importance over ten or fifteen years. This means lots of compromises with the criminals in charge of the West.
International law is not some great thing. It might be more like the old Cold War period, but with more poles in the power structure. If those poles, such as Brazil, have oligarchs or corruption, that is just the way things go. However, a return to some form of international law would have eliminated many of the great injustices of the last decade or two.
It seems to me that fighting the injustices you are bothered by requires a multipolar world within countries, at least big ones. Instead of all American policies coming from DC and Wall Street, decentralize. The power has really been moving up the pyramid in the Western world, and we see this everywhere, from the massive concentration of media ownership to the financialization of everything, so that there is no longer even the concept of the public good. Banks should have to offer free bank accounts to the poor as a condition of their getting a very valuable license from the state. Nowadays, things have been turned on their heads.
Anyway, at the end of the day, Putin is a reformer, not a revolutionary.
At the 32-20 mark he relates how the bill to Nationalize the Russian Central Bank was defeated
“KPRF faction voted in it’s entirety ..YES ,LDPR faction voted in it’s entirety ..YES,the ‘Fair Russia’ faction failed to push any button at all, that is I reiterate…they did not vote yes,no or abstain they simply did not vote.”
“As for the ‘United Russia faction’ there was an even more interesting situation Evgeny Fedorov and his colleagues who introduced this legislation are part of United Russia faction,If I’m not mistaken 5 voted ‘Yes’,2 voted ‘No’ and 240 did not participate in voting”
He goes on to question why 280 did not vote, after all if they felt it was bad for the country they could vote NO.
At the 53 rd minute mark in answer to a second CBR question
“As for Vladimir Putin,in the first year of his Presidency in 2000, he introduced a similar bill to the State Duma about the nationalization, then all the factions voted against it”
I agree with all you said. Absolutely!
And it’s very hard to listen to drivel about the west’s inability to solve this problem.
We all saw the UK PM lead his nation into a war it did not want.
The western leaders do know what they want and that is, to destroy Russia – their all time greatest enemy. It always has been and always will be.
Thanks, our other Peter. Your truthing should be etched in stone which which to knock sense into blockheads.
Sovereignty? What sovereignty when nazi-nations can invade your space uninvited. Wake up, Russio-syria. You be had. Demand that uninvited guests leave immediately. At least get that much etched in paper so you’ve got law on your side. You’re giving tacit approval to those who seek your death.
OK. What do I know? Maybe Putino is dealing from the bottom of the deck or has made a deal. Who knows what goes down under the green shades in the den behind the bar? What good is military analysis when when you have monetary paralysis?
They say the bank always wins at betting. When the bear and the dragon beat a path to the bank of banks down the yellow brick silk road it’s time to revisit the sign on the doorpost of Dante’s hell about giving up all hope. Who among us would not make a deal with the devil to save our skin or next of kin? A question not to be asked in the family of the politically correct.
“I never put my hope in the princess or her toad. I never stole her silver or gold. I’m too light to carry that load or always do what I’ve been told.” (TLG)
“In the end, my dear sweet friend, I’ll remember you. When I’m all alone in the great unknown, I’ll remember you.” BD.
When we go down in the flood of fire, oh dear sweet vineyard, I’ll remember you. Maybe I’ll even weep like Jesus over Jerusalem. We can’t say we took the bullet because we never saw it coming. It’s a slow bullet-train we can see a mile away down the tracks.
“Well, what can I say about Claudette; she could be happily married or running a whore house in Buenos Aires.” Dylan. That makes about as much sense as the Syrian War House. I’m going down to New Orleans to wear the ball and chain in the House of the Rising Sun.
Which is worse? Go instantly in a fire-ball heat or do a slow burn in a prison planet? Isn’t it fun to do analysis while Home is burning and Nero fiddling? You’re right: it can’t be that bad; it’s far worse.
“We have the chance to turn the pages over
We can write what we want to write
We gotta make ends meet, before we get much older
We’re all someone’s daughter
We’re all someone’s son How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?
You’re the voice, try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo We’re not gonna sit in silence
We’re not gonna live with fear
Oh-wo-wo-wo, oh-wo-wo-wo [..]”
How am I to sleep when my bed is burning?
How can I rest when my heart is yearning?
How can I know when I’m still in learning?
How can I go on when I’m just returning?
I guess those are questions only a vineyard can answer.
So your solution is? Sit back and lament? Or a quite quick and simple option? A bullet to the head? So let us stop talking falsely. The hours getting late.
Peter Antonsen…Peter Lavelle doesn’t come right out and say it like you do…but he’s in front of a million viewers..and yes, he probably does have to work within certain parameters, due to oligarch influence at RT….but I very much doubt Peter Lavelle has ‘handlers’….
You’re being unrealistic in your expectations. You have that luxury because of where you are.
Peter Lavelle is truly out in the front of the real deal….which incorporates unfortunately, but really and truly, zionist power.
How long would his show last if did what you demand ?
Well, Pete, you almost had me, then you bring up a list of names of persons which includes Chomsky, I begin to up chuck, then Paul, I am actually vomitting now, Le Pen, projectile vomitting begins. It makes me wonder who actually are the brain-boxed among us?
Vomit all you want. The Le Pens, and Chomsky, would make fascinating guests on any discussion/talk show. I have not insisted on inviting only people you control to a discussion show, only that -said show, such as Lavelles, cover new ground, and leave the imperialist media behind.
Noam Chomsky’s exposés of Zionism go back fifty years, and are the finest ever written. The Le Pens, represent a nascent rebellion that is sweeping Zionist American occupied and controlled Europe. The Le Pens, and others, such as the Hungarian Prime Minister, represent a political body of resistance that has its origin on the political right, and the resistance of Dieudonné and Alain Soral, and their hundreds of thousands of supporters, comes from the political Left. There is also significant European resistance born from the political center, such as Italy’s four times Prime Minister, Burlesconi.
I make no claim to the infallibility of these individuals, (only of myself). But they are voicing significant opposition to the Zionist American Oligarchs, and deserve a hearing. Yes, Marine Le Pen demagogically lays too much of the blame on Islam, and she has kissed-up to the Zionist Land Thieves, but she is far superior to other guests of Lavelle, who have done the same thing.
Within America, Chomsky, is all but banned from the media, and has lived under constant threats of losing his employment at MIT. Ralph Nader (parents from Lebanon), has suffered similar treatment.
Ann,
It does no good to lament “Peter Lavelle doesn’t come right out and say it like you do…but he’s in front of a million viewers..and yes, he probably does have to work within certain parameters, due to oligarch influence at RT” – therefore that he, or his handlers have some God given right to display – anything less than the truth, anything less than a complete analysis.
When Levelle does work “within certain parameters, due to oligarch influence at RT” it is our Duty to expose that fact, and condemn that fact, As Loud as we can. By doing so, we likely provide some maneuver room for Lavelle to widen those “parameters” he must operate under (if he so wishes).
There is no time to waste, or benefits to be gained, by fudging the figures.
Okay, well in that case you’re really not criticizing Peter Lavelle but helping him…which is good,
because the facts are this.
If people on the ‘same side’ fight each other and criticize and actually damage each other (sometimes) then, they obviously don’t really know who their enemies are … and could be called superficial or superfluous or super dumdums….(not meaning you of course)
Anyone who bites someone fighting beside them…is super ignorant, and sadly, they often get away with it.
I’m not sure about that (not that I doubt they are connected.Just that they captured an Israeli colonel). There is a lot of disinformation put out by all sides in this war. I think that could be one piece of that. If it was true it would be an important “propaganda coup”. And there would be videos and pictures spread throughout the MENA of him. Iranian, or at least Iraqi reporters would be interviewing him. It would be posted all over Youtube. And other sites. The Israelis would be denying it. And saying he was “kidnapped” by “terrorists” somewhere else. And demanding his release. I don’t see any of that. Just some written stories put out. It doesn’t “smell” right to me.
Uncle Bob, Saker — speaking of disinfo, the Israeli media keeps flogging their theme that they can still bomb Syria anytime they like and the Russian air defenses either don’t work or the Russians aren’t defending Syrian territory from their incursions. The last ‘air strike’ supposedly involved a drone to sound a bit more plausible, as even the old Mossad disinfo guys at Debka are admitting that Israeli Air Force has no shooting at Russians policy so long as they stay on their side and one Russian plane that briefly passed over the Israeli held Golan Heights was no big deal. I happen to think all of the Israeli air strikes since the Russians introduced the S-400 if not before never actually happened and this is BS/bravado to make Washington keep providing the multi-billion goodies every year. Israel is not going to come out and admit if Russian electronic warfare blinded a couple of its F-15s as Dr. Paul Craig Roberts claimed the other day on KingWorldNews.
The Turks meanwhile are playing a very dangerous and stupid game in Nineveh province Iraq. I realize they think they can probe the new Iraqi government which is militarily weaker than the SAA in this way but I suspect the Turks are biting off more than they can chew. The Bosporus card for the Turks as their supposed trump card has made them overconfident. The U.S. logisticians know damn well how much cargo Russia could get into Syria using its Baltic Sea port near St. Petersburg or the long way from Murmansk, neither of which together with supplies from the Russian Far East or even the Chinese/Iranians the Turks can do anything about coming up from the Suez.
Maybe Erdogan’s calculation is to goad the Iraqis into bombing his troops, then shoot down the Iraqi Air Force jet so Russia and Iran step in and warn the Turks that any of their F-16s intruding into not only Syrian but also Iraqi air space will be shot down and their soldiers bombed if they don’t get the hell out within hours if not a couple days. Erdogan probably thinks a few dozen dead Turks killed by Iraqi bombs, Kurdish Kornet ATGMs, or Iranian Revolutionary Guard commandos will finally give him his pretext to shut down the Syrian Express and give the desperate GCC/banksters their ‘victory’. It won’t work of course Russia is not going to back down they may suspend air strikes temporarily or decrease the number of bombing missions most likely. But Erdogan is starting to believe his own BS like Saakashvili only the stakes are much higher this time.
I’m not sure what’s going to happen about the Turks in Iraq. As someone said, maybe the Turks are trying to keep the oil flowing and are trying to do that through Iraq. They know Russia can’t bomb there (yet). But if the Iraqis are telling them to get out,I don’t see how they won’t have to leave. Even the US wouldn’t support them there (I don’t believe),it would be bad PR.But if they don’t leave, then there is going to be a big problem.
I’ve been following events as best I can. What I want to see exposed is the financial transactions that are taking place. How is this money being transferred?
BCCI is long gone. What has taken its’ place?
I think there are some former IDF members in IS as advisors.. I doubt they would be serving members. What the CIA does for plausable deniability.. There are many former IDF members with the Kurds though. Then again we know Israel openly supports the Kurds as a means to gain leverage over Iran, Iraq and now Syria and they also used to be very active inside Turkey.
Israel has not violated Syrian air space for years, They shoot air to surface missiles from 100km or so out and then scoot.. I think those pantzirs can shoot them down if they are active but from what I have seen, Syrian air defences other than monitoring is not active. I think Russia has a tight reign on any Syrian air defence missiles so as to not have the Syrians shoot down a US jet like they did with the Turkish jet..
Whats complicated? Anyone who attacks a countries police and soldiers protecting the civilians are a terrorist, we just saw this on last nights news where 2 peopke like 15 people was a terrorist act.
People with low IQ keeps doing the same thing over and over.. Just look at the stupid IS firefighters trying to put ot the flames..
“Iranian military advisors in Syria have taken photos and filmed all the routes used by ISIL’s oil tankers to Turkey; these documents can be published,” Rezayee told reporters on Friday.
Asked about the Turkish officials’ denial of purchasing oil from the ISIL, he said, “If the Turkish government is not aware of ISIL’s oil sales in their country, we can provide it with such intelligence.”
Rezayee, meantime, vowed that some important news will soon be released on the destruction of ISIL Takfiri terrorists and their defeat.
EC Secretary Discloses Iran’s Access to Evidence Showing Turkey’s Oil Deals with ISIL
A Complicated Battlefield is excellent, some of the best Crosstalk, but as before the leader of it misses
the nub of the American presence as it relates to Wahabism, Saudi Arabia and what the US is setting up.
Setting up a one thousand year global war uni-lateral empire that is to eliminate several extra billion humans and remake the species, alter it’s human genetic pool, everything.
One of the first things to get rid of was normal laws, 9/11 was to do that and it was done. A revived NATO membership of an arm of an essentially lawless war empire, completed the erasure of International Humanitarian Law globally. The arm of the Feds, the US IMF erases all usual uses of money as meaningful, only debt has meaning. Poverty makes surviving pure capitalism impossible, the very point.
Everything those men debate expresses the US goal, but none of them mentions it. It’s “confused” “has no clue”…Saudi Arabian criminal goals are a useful horse for the US to ride…agree with. Human elimination. At the beginning of fleshing out the 1000 year empire, right after 9/11, the goals of erasing religions (Islam and Judaism) Christianity erasing itself, but for the Orthodox Christianity, was written and spoken of concretely. All Islam is to be removed, in so doing Russia will be erased as well. As it must be for the empire to ever be at all. Supported Zionism is erasing Judaism in all it’s forms, too.
I listen to them as they get closer to the US facts…
The problem I have with these conversations is the assumption that the US elites are somehow “making mistakes” or “miscalculating”.
They’re not. It’s all completely deliberate. The goal is always money and power for the military-industrial complex, the oil companies, the neocons, Wall Street and the banks and the frontmen politicians. Every action taken by the US is calculated to cause chaos that these entities can profit from, while the politicians foster the national-security state giving them more power over the citizenry.
That’s the entire reason for everything. Period. End of story.
So-called “pundits” need to start admitting this up front, because nothing will change until this fact becomes common knowledge (and might not change even then because the US electorate is ignorant and weak.)
Of course, but you see, RT is a rather “mainstream” news platform and cannot speak openly. Lavelle and the others know the truth full well, but as this is a hybrid war, the “simulacrum” must be manipulated accordingly.
As some intelligent Russian commentators have noted, the “informational warfare capabilities of the enemy must be taken into account”
If the US is following it’s ‘hidden agenda’ policy one should not assume that it is not a mistake. While it is calculated by some (or many) in the US to cause chaos, that’s not to say that causing chaos is either god or of benefit to the US. While it may be policy to grab all the money and resources in the world that is not to say this is beneficial, expecially in the long run, to those who have grabbed it.
But neither does this mean that mistakes are not made along the way even in achieving the goals these people are looking for. They may want absolute control of citizens, as with “1984”, but that doesn’t mean what they want is what they should want, even for their own benefit, or that ‘power is an end in itself’, as Winston is told in the book.
There can be a huge difference between getting what you want and getting what is good for you and will make you happy.
Just because the US (and NATO in general) are following a covert agenda ruthlessly, it does not follow that they are succeeding!
First of all, they clearly failed in Iraq. Completely and utterly. That’s one of the main reasons why they had to come up with the ISIS “covert-mercenary Army”.
Secondly, they genuinely thought that the “Assad regime” would easily collapse. It did not. They repeatedly predicted with extreme certainty and confidence that Assad’s days were numbered. Another obvious and thumping failure.
Third. They did not see the Russian Operation in Crimea. They genuinely expected an invasion or something of that sort. Another monumental failure.
Fourth. They did not expect the rapidity and effectiveness of the RuAF in the Syrian theater. In fact, all Western experts were confidently declaring that the Russians could not fight away from their borders. My God, I have heard this a million time from “western experts”. This was a colossal failure of their intelligence services.
Fifth. They failed to see the emerging axis between Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria. They seriously expected Iran to turn against Russia after the “nuclear deal” This is beyond catastrophic from their point of view.
Sixth. They still cannot deal with the new reality of a Chinese-Russian accord. This is cataclysmic. They are in almost permanent denial in relation to this.
So yes, the US Empire and its minions are mighty, ruthless, lying and follow their savage and degenerate global agenda covertly. But they still fuck it up more often than not.
Wow, how could the nuclear deal between the US and Iran fail? Iranians don’t like Coke, Pepsi, Hollywood, blue jeans, Kardashians’ bums, Big Macs, big cars, I phones, what went wrong?
I’m also seeing fanatical levels of denial about the Israeli Air Force standing down and how the invincible IAF can still bomb Syria anytime it pleases S-400/300s or not, even though we all know how hard the U.S. and Israel lobbied Russia NOT to sell the upgraded (and therefore capable of networking with S-400 radars) S-300 to Iran. Now there are rumors that Iran may be directly deploying its system to Syria or got it ‘out of the box’ directly from Russia on Antonov airlifters and assembled by Russian technicians ready to defend the the Syrian Arab Republic’s air space. We’ve gone from total denial of the formidable S-400’s capabilities to ‘well maybe Israel can spoof the S-300 because they’ve been training with the Cypriots on how to do so’. The Greek Cypriots incidentally deny that such covert training with the Israeli Air Force took place but given Cyprus geopolitical position and close ties to Tel Aviv they could be lying.
Iran ask Israel to pay money for the 70,000 barrels of oil they supplied israel every day.. thats what went wrong.. Telling someone to pay up means wiping their face on the map…
A while I was hearing something I don’t hear much anymore, in relation to the US taking over oil in M.E. by wrecking countries, because oil is so important. Last I heard these fiascos cost trillions of dollars. Along the way some were saying that if the US wanted oil they could just buy it — it wasn’t like the Iraqis and all were going to drink it instead of wanting to sell it. It would have been much cheaper to just buy it, but the arms industry wanted war and oil industry want the oil for free so they could become obscenely rich (and what would they do with all that excess money?).
In the meantime the financial guys have got a zillion pieces of phony money in derivatives that they sit on instead of investing in productive activities (driving down the value of money and making the US less competitive and viable). Even if the US is being effective they are moving faster to the edge of that cliff (or the iceberg, depending on your metaphor).
The US can’t seem to understand the concept of cooperating and working fairly with other countries and just producing products to sell, and buying other stuff, within a sustainable world economy. Much the same way it can’t understand that you have to have an economically viable working class to buy the products being produced or everyone goes out of business, and if you destroy the world then there is nothing left for anyone.
I have often and with utter revulsion long wondered why ISIS and other psychopaths raising hell in Syria have a predilection for filming their sick atrocities and uploading them all to youtube. I never could understand that, but I think I do now.
They are in short advertising. There is a lot of conjecture in Europe as to what makes its youth decide to leave the country to go join these depraved lunatics, one view mostly favoured by left leaning liberals being that it is a result of disaffection with the society or lack of having a voice, etc. while the right rave on about muslims in society, etc. This has nothing to do with disaffection with society or being a muslim as in fact the majority of true muslims are perfectly horrified by the actions of these terrorists and the majority of their victims are in fact muslims.
Those people who run off to join ISIS do so for one simple reason alone, they want their share of the rape, murder and mayhem, its that simple. These are twisted people who want to free their inner demons and act in any way they wish without constraint of the law or having to conform to the norms of society, to act out their twisted fantasies. For them it must be paradise.
I remember also last year reading about extreme right Europeans paying the punitive battalions in Ukraine to go on people hunting “safaris” in the Donbass. Same mentality.
Some very evil and sick people in this world. How can we survive as a race with people like this ? We cant, simple.
Which is why I’ve mentioned in the past the need to “eliminate” those killers. And have been attacked as a war-monger for doing so. The fact that almost everyone of the Russian and Donbass people I hear from, in the dozens to hundreds, say the same thing. And that Putin and Kadyrov themselves have said worse. Somehow doesn’t seen to register with my attackers.
The reason you point out is a correct one. Sadistic people are a fact of life.
But there are also others. The creators of ISIS/AQ etc want to use the brutality in order to justify their policies, being domestic surveillance and repression, also taking attention away from the slow-motion train wreck that is the European economy, and also to justify military intervention in places such as Syria and Iraq.
know the truth, do not despair, they are not so many, only around 2-3% of population.
The issue is neutralize them.
Your are right in that of the ISIS videos used as calling effect to psycopaths on every corner of the world, but, the advantage of the actual situation, as has been well understood by comrade Vladímir Vladímirovich Putin, is that now you have many of them concentrated in a certain area and, due to some international consensus, it is permissible to remove them right there.
“(…) now you have many of them concentrated in a certain area and, due to some international consensus, it is permissible to remove them right there.”
Aiming for effectiveness, the reason why initial Russian airstrikes must have prefered seemingly secondary targets, as opposed to France’s very emotional urge for revenge striking Raqqa, spoiling the plan of encouraging the Daesh hordes to flee back to their safety and only then be eliminated, instead of allowing them to disperse away via Turkey.
The problem with these types is they don’t see 2 millimiters further than their noses, exacly where it can only be out of focus.
They are in the same class of people like Christopher Columbus. Their sponsors are different, as well as some of their objectives, but the modus operendi is very similar.
Unfortunately we selectively put some of these people on their marble pedestals and even name holidays after them, whitewashing their genocidal tendancies. With a little bit of digging you find horrible tales of rape, pillage, torture and murder. Same story different century.
That has changed. The Iraqi government is now demanding the Turks withdraw. They are calling it a military incursion (which it is) on their territory without their permission.
I think that NATO is sacrificing Turkey if it all suddenly goes pear shaped for the AZ empire.
At least that way, NATO and US/UK/France can continue the war if Turkey is destroyed.
But I do think that ‘when’ Russia avenges the senseless murder of its pilots over Syrian airspace, the best option for relative peace to be restored would be if Erdogan’s son and daughter were involved in a fatal car accident, Davutoğlu died suddenly from a serious cardiac arrest, and Erdogan could be allowed time to properly reflect on his rash geopolitical decisions before his life is cut short following a mechanical fault which would explain the crash of his presidential plane.
All deemed as tragic events of course, but hopefully the new Turkish regime would act more responsibly. ;-)
Methinks Turkey wants to set up a new ratline into their oil business, weapons supply and jihadi reinforcement, since Russia is kindly closing off the Syrian connection on them. Conveniently located, as they are, just outside Daesh-controlled Mosul. Also, the Iraqi government is demanding they withdraw.
‘Incursion’: Baghdad demands Turkey withdraw ‘training’ troops from northern Iraq.
“The Iraqi government has demanded that Ankara withdraw the more than 100 Turkish forces that entered Iraq with tanks and artillery for alleged “training” of troops near Islamic State-occupied Mosul. Baghdad stressed the unsanctioned move was a breach of its sovereignty.”
“130 Turkish soldiers equipped with heavy weapons were deployed at a military base on the outskirts of the city of Mosul, which is currently held by IS, according to the Daily Sabah newspaper.”
Turkey is doing what people here wish RF had done in NR. Nothing surprising. Russia army and government did not do its home work well, and created the situation leading to the jet incident. Not good for anyone, not only Turkey.
If anyone was wondering about the “correct” way to aid poor developing nations. Instead of the Western “loot” and bring “democracy” to them method. Then this should be an object lesson:
RT- China to allocate $60bn in 3 years for Africa development
President Xi Jinping told African presidents on Friday at a summit that China would provide $60 billion over three years to fund development on the continent, Reuters said. Xi was co-chairing the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation where several African heads of state were attending. China will step up investment in factories manufacturing goods for export in Africa, in addition to building roads, ports and railways. Beijing will also cancel existing debts with zero interest loans for least developed countries that mature by end 2015.
Chinese capitalism is different fom Western capitalism?
This is the phoney dialectic at work in your brain.
Capitalism is theft. It all starts out nice until the parasites decide enough ain’t enough and begin to demand more than the host can provide.
Your body is full of parasites and almost all of them are useful or even necessary but some parasites will eventually begin to privilege themselves over the host and this is a biological description of cancer.
The social description of the parasite which privileges itself over the host is called capitalism and it ALWAYS turns cancerous eventually.
If you want to hekp people the best way to do it don’t intervene.
China will be a good citizen in Africa as compared to the Western capitalists but they are simply an earlier stage of the same disease. Eventually the bad dna will be transferred and the people of Africa will be liquidated same as were the people of the Americas.
Chinese capitalism will only grease the wheels of this process by building the infrastructure which will be used to annialate the humanity. This is always how it works if you know anything about history.
Forgive if I sound too aggressive UB but my intention is to be the antibody of an immune response which actually recognizes the disease and kills it once and for all.
And make no mistake, it’s either them or us and time is a-wastin.’
The first step in curing the disease is properly recognizing it for what it is. We are a genocidal civilization gone global and capitalism is the social construct which powers our murderous ‘progress.’
I strongly suspect if you were living in one of those African states going to have their debts canceled. Roads, hospitals, and other infrastructure projects built to help your economy. And to create jobs so you could provide for your family in your homeland instead of having to try and migrate to Europe. You might think differently. As my writings show,I’m far from being a “capitalist” supporter. But I do try and be a pragmatist at times. And people in Africa need to survive and have a life. I doubt they’ll be telling the Chinese,”oh no,we’ll stand on principal and starve to death”. Its a huge problem among us that we are willing to see others stand up for principles which we ourselves refuse to .
The Anglo American Left and Western Left in general love to preach about the Revolution(tm) from the safety and comfort their own (frustrated) middle class lives.
But what have they themselves actually accomplished in terms of fostering revoluton in the belly of the beast, America or Europe?
Zilch.
Hell, the American/Western left can’t even build a militant political movement anymore, never mind overthrow the bourgeousie in their own countries.
The best they can do is to pimp for the last charlatan of Hope and Change like Bernie Sanders, Syriza, or Jeremy Corbyn.
But most of all, the Euro-American Left are extremely accomplished in their rhetorical verbiage. For this singular talent, you have to give them props.
Thank you so much that finally somebody made a clear picture what is going on because audience is very gullible.
It will change slowly and gradually to see the real clear picture, but it will take time. Rest of you Google in “Secret covenant” and read the message very slowly and try to absorb what is in the message for all of us to fool you till last minute as much as possible
Following the “time honored” Ukrainian policy of blaming the victims of “shelling themselves” and “burning themselves alive in Odessa” and “Russia and Putin did it”. The insane empire stooge Yatsenyuk is now saying there is a chance that “Russian” saboteurs are the ones that destroyed the electric pylons to Crimea. After all,”no doubt” Russia wanted Crimea without electricity so they would need to spent millions fixing the problem. That man must really be clinically insane,as well as just plain “evil” :
the only issue with that is the Turkish F-16s are almost certainly lying in wait at the Iraqi Kurdistan border to ambush any planes including Iraq’s F-16s that are sent to fly over the Turkish invaders or bomb them without warning. I think Haider al-Abadi and his advisors plus the Iranians have learned from the combined U.S./Turkish ambush of the Russian Su-24. Escalation may be precisely what Erdogan wants. So we may see an eyeball to eyeball situation instead where the Iraqi army surges past ISIS lines to block the Turks outside Mosul (and if the Turks are there to ‘fight Daesh’ why aren’t Daesh attacking them? The pathetic NATO/US denials of Turkish/Daesh cooperation wind up exposed unless Erdogan can arrange some fake firefights by ‘retreating’ ISIL). Russia could of course provide transport planes but the tricky part is supply lines would have to come through Kurdish Iraqi territory and unfortunately Barzani is in the CIA’s back pocket hence their arranged ‘Kurdish’ denials of ISIS oil sales by the Turks.
Russia should not be in any way involved in this situation in Iraq…. yet.
Use this to draw the lines clearly for the world to see.
Iraq needs to demand air support from their American “partners” to push Turkey outside their borders. Iraq is not Syria. It is not a “free for all” with western powers not recognizing their government. The recognized government of Iraq calls on US air support to repel an invasion of their sovereign territory by Turkey. If US refuses, they are not a true partner of Iraq and an ultimatum is issued, you are either a partner to the security of Iraq or you pull forces immediately and we will replace you with a real partner. Enter Russia and Iran officially.
This needs to be pushed to emergency meetings at UN security council. It should call out NATO forces aggression. WIn a UN resolution calling for withdrawal of Turkish troops and no more incursions.
Then 10 cruise missiles from Caspian sea to any uninvited guests.
I don’t agree that ISIL has to be dealt with from a socialogical point of view…that time is past.
And there have always been mercenaries in the world…look at the crusades…although I think there was good intention at first, but later the crusades became warriors fighting for the highest bidder…even among the Middle Eastern powers….there were Persians fighting Muslims fighting Arabs that weren’t Muslim yet…and on and on.
So now, ISIL is made up of men (and a few women ?) that are working for the highest bidders…which are Saudi Arabia and Qatar….and the US too disgustingly enough….
And the player behind all of these is Israel, that has more corporate power than any of them.
A brief aside:
There are only 3 centers of gem cutting in the planet – Germany – of course, because Germany is a gem cutters country…fine chisel work
New York, thanks to Wall Street NY is one of the richest centers of oligarchs on the planet…
And guess where the other great center of gem cutting is ???
I am continually amazed by the quality of this tv show…Its the very best that has ever been broadcast across the english speaking world.
Peter Lavelle has so many interesting contacts….they seem to be getting better and better all the time…even half a year ago he was cursed with creepy neo-con guests, and now, the amazing guests he has…check out this cross talk..that was not posted here as far as I can recall…Syrian Fault Lines….
Who cares about the interesting guests Peter Lavelle has? Not me anyway; my life has become better and better all the time since not watching cross personages talking at cross purposes.
My days are now absorbed by reading light. romantic novels curled up on the sofa, only interrupted by the occasional viewing of weekly T.V dramatizations of Romantic novels, listening to the BBC news, and eating chocolate.
you are a lucky mouse. I work 25 hours a day and try to sleep in between…its horrible…the economic situation is lots of money going out every day, and pennies coming in.
And my point in my above comment is that Peter Lavelle doesn’t have to have crosstalk so much now…in these serious times it nice to watch three people on the same page politically, discussing events.
A friend of mine, who knows I am reading the Saker, asked what will happen “when the Russian bonds are due in 2017”. I didn’t know what he was talking about…
Has this been “talked about” or is it just lies about “the imminent breakdowm in Russia”.
Does anybody here know anything about this? Can you suggest some links?
Ann might be a good person to provide the links here. But the imminent “breakdown of Russia2 appears to be nonsense. As for things that are “talked about”, do not listen to gossip, for all is well on the (Eastern) front.
actually I know nothing about this – but Solari.com is a good blog for finance….but I haven’t read about this there either….
I agree that Russia ain’t breakin’ down…and money is such a farce anyway…look how people used to ‘get by’ in villages…we can do that again…but it will take time to unravel ourselves from the matrix.
Just in the past month, the crises of the world have become so complicated and dangerous, people hardly talk anymore about something as tragic as the Paris attacks. And it’s only been 3 weeks. The Ukraine conflict was still big news on October 2, 2015, when the Normandy Four—Poroshenko, Putin, Merkel and Hollande—gathered in Paris for the summit on the Minsk Agreements. How are the distractions of world crises affecting Donbass now?
Today Kiev is essentially invading Novorossiya, and this is happening under the media radar. Will the Normandy Four have the time or commitment to stop Poroshenko’s advance? Or will war resume in Donbass?

Gonna put my good foot forward

I’m going to get back on track and be just on time

poetry pretty nice indeed.
Now let´s get to political and military analysis.
Make no mistake. We need poetry to live.
And occasionally – like now – that analysis to just survive.
Education in slow motion for the masses.
If talking would have achieved anything, Russia would not have commited their armed forces in Syria.
The US is requesting all the old imperial powers to jump on board their coalition……Holland,Belgium,France,Spain Portugal & ‘Uncle tom cobley and all’.
To repeat some US personas……”What is the point of having nuclear weapons if we do not use them ?”
‘Uncle tom cobley and all’. could also include KSA,Qatar,Israhell and Jordan, always a British client.

Ave Imperator!

The Cross Talk is difficult to listen to.
For the Democratic Republics!
You are correct.
Break the spell or just don’t bother.
….because the “information war” is a very complicated battlefield.
@ Anonymous at 10:24 pm UTC
Well, you just posted yourself into irrelevance, imo.

“As for Vladimir Putin,in the first year of his Presidency in 2000, he introduced a similar bill to the State Duma about the nationalization, then all the factions voted against it”
“So this is a very serious matter”
I agree with all you said. Absolutely!
And it’s very hard to listen to drivel about the west’s inability to solve this problem.
We all saw the UK PM lead his nation into a war it did not want.
The western leaders do know what they want and that is, to destroy Russia – their all time greatest enemy. It always has been and always will be.
Brilliant analysis!
Well said.

Ann, Charles,
First Charles,
Vomit all you want.
What a Great Website!
God Bless the Saker, whoever he is!
For the Democratic Republics!
Bye for now, brother Peter
http://journal-neo.org/2015/11/25/israeli-colonel-caught-with-is-pants-down/
Guess who Iraqi military caught leading ISIS troops? Also some food for thought: research Dönmeh.

A great Crosstalk. And here is another one that was extremely important as well:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lwbVqGyMPw
thanks Uncle Bob, yeah I missed that one you’ve linked..its really good…that guy in Ankara…he’s taking chances – a brave man for sure –
I agree.
BTW the Turks have already invaded Northern Iraq. Mosul region.
incredible, this invasion is labeled “training mission”
https://www.rt.com/news/324787-turkish-troops-deployed-iraq/
and the Iraqis are not going to complain? if so, then that part of Iraq will become part of Turkey.
That has changed. The Iraqi government is now demanding the Turks withdraw. They are calling it a military incursion (which it is) on their territory without their permission.
Correct.
“130 Turkish soldiers equipped with heavy weapons were deployed at a military base on the outskirts of the city of Mosul, which is currently held by IS, according to the Daily Sabah newspaper.”
https://www.rt.com/news/324787-turkish-troops-deployed-iraq/
Really UB?
“we’ll stand on principal”
you surely meant: on principle
Thank you,yes I did,lol.
That was actually a fine joke :)

Here’s a simple statement in a complex battlefield.
Iraq should sends planes and kill Turkish troops with no warning required.
Turks give no warning or mercy so they deserve none in return.
Who could argue this?
the only issue with that is the Turkish F-16s are almost certainly lying in wait at the Iraqi Kurdistan border to ambush any planes including Iraq’s F-16s that are sent to fly over the Turkish invaders or bomb them without warning.
Here’s a simple answer in a complex battle field.
Russia.
Tel Aviv.
Are you sure you are thinking of Germany? I believe its Antwerp you mean,in Belgium. That is the European gem cutting and diamond exchange center.
well…I read in a book recently that it was Germany – although I guess perhaps that that stupid diamond wall street place is in Belgium….
I’ve now lent the book to a jeweller…but it has photos of the Smithsonian Gem Collection.. great photos too.

Thanks for the link Ann.
Thanks
