The Saker
Excellent, Saker. I thank you for highlighting this important discussion. The chaos theory has legs, it seems to me, and the only concern the US has is to beat down potential rivals whatever the cost. This is truly insanity, and surely the rest of the world won’t want to go along with it. If it works at all, it works only in the short term for those currently wielding power – they really have no strategy and make no true friends, so it is hard to see how they themselves can survive.
Madness. Such carnage, such waste. Such stupidity.
Applied Chaos Theory is more than likely. Create the ‘edge of chaos’ conditions with the only tool in the ‘tool box’ (military industrial complex) after failure to introduce deep systemic change following the bankrupcy of the 2007/8 global financial crisis. Then, as James Gleick’s Chaos book (circa 1990s) of same title outlines, shock the ‘fibrillating heart’ with well timed and placed strategic shocks — and ‘bingo!’ you have a primitive but effective ‘governance’ system at work. Especially effective if all the hegemon empire has left is the MIC ‘hammer’ and the main policy aim and desirable outcome is status quo for the elites. Chaos + Shocks = Control. And the criminal dysfunction of this situation is when the ‘Control’ system becomes autopoietic (self justifiying and sustaining) and seeks to create the closed-loop where chaos and shocks are its means-whereby etc. Any wonder why the ouroborus is depicted as a serpent eating its tail!
I didn’t watch the whole program, maybe 3/4s of it. While many good points were made, they kept up the “failed Mideast policies” narrative popular among the zio-“left”. Israel was not mentioned. We can go in circles indefinitely or we can get off the farris wheel and start looking at these Mideast aggressions by the ZPC/NWO in their real context. That context is expansion of zionazi power, not nazi power (the NWO faction), not oil, not real estate, not “influence over Arab states”. It’s about an extension of Israel/zionazi power, like in the wars against Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Libya. From the POV of the zionazis, all these “failed wars” in the Mideast have been victories, the sods got exactly what they wanted. Both in the Mideast, the greater Israel freakshow, and in throughout the ZPC/NWO dominated states, where zionazi interests now encompass the #1 priority to be fulfilled and promoted. And are never questioned or exposed.
Do you have any links to the ancestry and history of the House of Saud, specifically to the tribe that currently has manifested itself in that hell hole to the north? It’s an interesting history, sorry I cant dig up the links right now.
no wonder the house of saud trash arab history they are jewish.
In his book, The Dönmeh Jews, D. Mustafa Turan writes that Wahhab’s grandfather, Tjen Sulayman, was actually Tjen Shulman, a member of the Jewish community of Basra, Iraq.

Some British spies and some Israeli “researchers” think one was Jewish a few generations ago ???? that does not make them Jewish.
Please drop this obsession with everyone and everything being Jewish and with one drop of Jewish blood generations ago making any kind of difference to anything today.
Hehe. ;) I’m German, sort of Neonazi (true meaning, not bullsh!t meaning as on this blog), and I agree. This “Jew sniffing” is sort of silly. Which is not to say that the issue of Jewish manipulations should be ignored, of course. Do raise the issue, just not in a fanatical implacable manner.
Christ was the prophet for Christians, Mohammed was the prophet for Moslem’s. Before that, all were Jewish.
Look up Wahhabi in wikipedia and do more searches from there. Saud is a family that follows the spoutings er.. whatever, (afraid I’m not religious) of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab.
I posted a few links about that in one other thread here yesterday. Rest assured, as always it was a plot of the british empire. They propped up the Wahhabis and they also created Saudi Arabia, literally.
That “charles drake” above posted the usual nonsense promoted in the usual controlled and fake blogs, you know them all already.
Then you should have listened to last quarter of the video, because Israel and its benefits was mentioned and acknowledged. Sure they didn’t insist in seeing Zionism as the root cause of American policy but it was mentioned, and that is already progress.
Get real. Here’s some actual history:
“Cromwell favored readmission of the Jews into England, partly in the hope of thereby fulfilling the Messianic prophecy, but mainly because they had aided him as “intelligencers,” and he foresaw that, with their control of the Portuguese and Spanish trade, and their large commercial interests in the Levant, the Hamburg Bank, and the Dutch East and West Indies, they would be of service to him in his expansionist policy, and would bring wealth into the country.”

That’s your zionism right there. Now as then. Just ask your Mr. Rot-herring, he is a “Knight” of the empire himself. Baron, a member in the order linked below and “Holy Papal Knight of Malta” as well, as you can see in most of the old family pictures.

“Samuel was the first Jew to govern the historic land of Israel in 2,000 years. He recognised Hebrew as one of the three official languages of the Mandate territory. He was appointed Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire (GBE) on 11 June 1920. The Order of the British Empire is part of the Sovereign Order of Malta network, and was created by George V (George Frederick Ernest Albert; 3 June 1865 – 20 January 1936).”
“Amin Al Husseini was appointed Mufti of Jerusalem by the British in 1921. Al-Husseini’s appointment as mufti was itself the subject of much controversy. The decision to grant al-Husseini the position was made by Herbert Samuel, the first high commissioner of Palestine. It was odd that Samuel, a British Jew, would appoint a man who would be responsible for so much unrest within the Mandatory area. Al-Husseini in fact had been sentenced to ten years in prison by the British for inciting riots in 1920. None of that sentence was served, as al-Husseini had fled to Transjordan, and was soon after amnestied by Samuel himself.
Amin Al Husseini helped recruit volunteers for Hitler´s 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS.”

I went back and listened to the last portion. You're right, Israel was mentioned once or twice, but not as you have characterised it here in your comment. Israel was mentioned was in passing, that was all. No consideration of the zionazi role in all the strife in the region, just mention that the assault on Syria also benefits Israel because Syria is an enemy of Israel. In summary, the Israeli role was ignored, though they were mentioned in passing. Other than that, I see no reason to change my initial criticism of the show.
That’s so!
A new weapon: the stealth pachyderm, flying at lightning speed between Irak, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine.
You wonder that the “jewpolitical analysts” can’t see it? How deftly they deflected the attempts of the moderator to steer the discussion towards Israel? “Don’t mention the war”, erh… the pachyderm!
“Something is rotten in the state of Denmark”, as an old Russian proverb say! (Soviet era joke).
Yes, “It’s about an extension of Israel/zionazi power”, as laid out in the Oded Yinon Plan. What is absolutely remarkable is the supreme confidence that there was no risk in making it public at the time (1982). In the words of Israel Shahak, who exposed it to the world at large:
“Why is it assumed that there is no special risk from the outside in the publication of such plans?
Such risks can come from two sources, so long as the principled opposition inside Israel is very weak (a situation which may change as a consequence of the war on Lebanon) : The Arab World, including the Palestinians, and the United States. The Arab World has shown itself so far quite incapable of a detailed and rational analysis of Israeli-Jewish society, and the Palestinians have been, on the average, no better than the rest. In such a situation, even those who are shouting about the dangers of Israeli expansionism (which are real enough) are doing this not because of factual and detailed knowledge, but because of belief in myth. A good example is the very persistent belief in the non-existent writing on the wall of the Knesset of the Biblical verse about the Nile and the Euphrates. Another example is the persistent, and completely false declarations, which were made by some of the most important Arab leaders, that the two blue stripes of the Israeli flag symbolize the Nile and the Euphrates, while in fact they are taken from the stripes of the Jewish praying shawl (Talit). The Israeli specialists assume that, on the whole, the Arabs will pay no attention to their serious discussions of the future, and the Lebanon war has proved them right. So why should they not continue with their old methods of persuading other Israelis?”
How low(weak ) will Russia go that even third rate enemies are stopping her for rescue of her own Russia citizens let alone coming to rescue of her allies in Syria, Yemen or Iran.?

Arab coalition stops Russian plane from evacuating Russians from Yemen — media
World April 01,
Wait and watch. Russia and US could nuke it out but at the moment this is a game of chess. I’ve got my money on Putin and Xi, though I get a bit anxious at times.
re: Crosstalk Yemen; Mark Slovoda summed it up most chillingly clearly–the policy of the US in setting the mid East ablaze is to invert reality. This will not end well. Why have not Russia called for an emergency Security Council meeting to at least call them on their game? Or China? This talk, talk, talk with Iran is just a cover too and a distraction. John Bolton was featured in an op ed in the NYT calling for an attack on Iran. Where are the voices of sanity in the US? Hiding under the covers like the rest of the people with a functioning brain cell in their head?
Resist, resist, resist.
April 2 /TASS/. The Yemen crisis is a source of growing concern, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Alexander Lukashevich said on Thursday.
“A Saudi-led military operation against Yemen that was joined by a coalition of Arab states has already claimed the lives of about 250 people. About 200 people have been wounded. In this connection, the UNICEF reports that 62 children have already died in Yemen under the bombs are sounding more and more alarming,” the Russian diplomat stressed.

“Civil infrastructure is being seriously destroyed and fierce fighting is under way for Aden, Yemen’s second vital city,” Lukashevich said. “We still believe that there is no alternative to the solution of the Yemen crisis. We are convinced that a desire to inflict a military defeat on the enemy which is being demonstrated by the sides in conflict is taking them to nowhere. Sooner or later, they will have to sit down to talks,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman went on to say.
He added that Russia would continue exerting active efforts, in cooperation with Yemeni factions, the Middle East states and the international community, to search for political solutions to this conflict with an aim to end the military hostilities as soon as possible and re-launch negotiations on the pan-Yemeni political process,” Lukashevich said.”
April 2 /TASS/. The United Nations Security Council should express its fundamental stance on how to end the ongoing violence in Yemen without siding with any of the sides in conflict , Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday after a draft resolution on the Yemen crisis had been submitted to the UN Security Council.
“Unfortunately, the resolution was submitted after the dramatic events had already taken place and a Saudi-led coalition had launched a military operation against Yemen,” Lavrov said adding Russia would prefer to see appeals made to the UN Security Council before any force could be used.”
it really is annoying who talk of failed policies/
usa/uk have been very successful in their polcies.
by their own standard of capitalism they should have been declared bankrupt and made to pack up and left starving-but they have managed to survive by priutnig n money while bankrupting others.]all through guns and bullying.
they know that in fair competition they cannot success so they do one thing that they are best at-create rift and sabotage and destabilize those potential competitors and then get the money through the elites of those destroyed countries to come over to british tax havens and rest there at discretion of British nd American looters.that is their service industry and creating chaos and destabilization is a prerequisite for that.
beauty is that stupid Russia is left with ability not to protect ehr sinterests even in syria and yemen whiel uk/usa pay no cost what so ever for their war crimes .not even danger of annihilation if they persist in destroying the world by taking countries one by one.

I would like to see Russia/China get top of the line air defences into all the US targets. Russia is just coming out of some really bad times and is now hit with sanctions ect.
If nothing happens in the interim, to save the US dollar, US will have to attack Russia or China directly. If they do that they will lose.
The “western world has started to move to China regardless of US threats. That surprised me. Russia/Putin has the military might. China has the financials. Both Putin and Xi are light years ahead of the McCain types intellectually.
Russian consulate in Aden bombed by coalition air force.
Russia has to strike back with force.
The rescue plane has been grounded in Egypt waiting for half a day to take out Russian citizens.
Time for a missile to be sent down the King’s tent in Riyadh.
Reports: In Yemen, Russia is not allowed to evacuate its Russian citizens by by plane.
In Yemen, the Russia consulate has been directly hit by Saudi airstrikes.
These are Acts of War.
Hmmm…again the strident calls for Russia to go to war…
The zionazis really want that bad.
Ummmm…impatient…misguided…or perhaps “deceptive”, “mendacious” and “purposeful”. Thankfully, most people recognize the chaos-spinners for what and who they are. Particularly those who push for Putin to start WW3. He won’t. He’ll eventually punish those who do harm to Russia. Maybe not directly. Or immediately. Rest assured, the “evil-doers” do not sleep soundly at night.
It’s becoming clear that patterns of events are unfolding more rapidly than ever. There are seismic shifts in process. All one can do is watch, wait and pray for mankind. And to resist evil. And apply “BDS” to ones daily life choices. It may seem like small potatoes. But it moves mountains.
There is no point in the US creating chaos for its own sake, but that is all they can achieve for the moment. However none of those target countries will be able to take part in WW3 effectively, and in the second stage of that war, the US hopes to easily mop them up and get control of their oil cheaply.
People forget what the final stages of total war are like, with the strongest smashing their way across territory that they intend to keep and use for their own purposes in the following decades. There were no morals on display (by either USA or USSR) in the final push on Germany and Japan. No protests, no democracy, no Human Rights, just smash and grab while you can.
http://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2015/03/29/russia-joins-chinas-asian-infrastructure-bank-but-doubts-its-power-against-imf/
Russia finally decided to join the Beijing led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) this weekend, but top officials don’t see it replacing the Bretton Woods institutions led by the World Bank.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said Saturday that Russia would join the roughly 23 countries that have already signed on as members of the $100 billion development bank. Shuvalov, whose government has no love affair with the west, said that AIIB was no replacement for the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
… yet.
Its a political statement…
I too think the usual “failed policies” meme leaves much unsaid.
An Empire’s raison d’être is to maintain and enhance the flow of tribute to the Imperial center. A great power creates chaos only to create a new tribute stream, or when an existing stream falters. A smartly run Empire keeps destruction to the minimum required to drive the lesson home and pour encourager les autres.
A recovered Iraq or Libya pumping oil in exchange for US financial paper, goods & services and military “protection” would be an Imperial asset. A devastated land that pumps no oil, and festers economically & socially spawning fanatical anti-Empire ideologies internally, and fomenting them externally, is a liability that will eventually come due. The Romans, Ghengis Khan and even the Anglo-Americans of a few decades ago knew this well.
The Empire’s obviously “failed policies” result from the Anglo-American Elite fatal mistake of allowing a small but effective clique of fanatics hi-jack, and then harness the Empire’s real military, financial and political capital to a narrow, short-sighted, maniacal ideology. The Empire’s real capital has been irreparably depleted, and its longterm interests have been sacrificed in the clique’s mad quest for a narrowly supremacist “Zionazi power”.
So, I agree with вот так above that they got “exactly what they wanted” insofar as “they” refers to the clique. It surely isn’t what the Empire would/should have wanted if it was being run as a normal Empire.
Not that long ago.
By my reckoning, the tail got its death grip on the dog on a sunny morning in Sept. 2001.
Before that, the dog bit back when it got unruly. After that, the dog learned to walk backwards.
Empires have always relied on the odd massacre or two to keep the natives in line. Internet makes massacres more difficult.
duplicity, hypocrisy, inconsistency and chaos…and it’s all immoral, illegal or both, and that’s before it’s misrepresented thru propaganda.

Included:
A lot of talk about what’s happening on the ground, about tactics or lack of them and about regional puppeteering by the United State and politicking of the Wahabbis v. the Shia v. the Sunnis, etc. But not much examination of broader issues. I’m surprised for instance that no one is discussing what, to me, is one obvious core goal behind the USA’s involvement in Yemen, which is securing their control over the Straits of Aden.
As imperial Britain well understood during their days of maritime dominance, controlling just a few strategic promontories around the world secured dominance over world trade: Aden, Gibraltar and Singapore (and at times ME trouble, the Cape of Good Hope: ergo Simonstown).
The USA, with, perhaps tenuous, military bases in Aden and Djibouti, has the power of custodian over that vital strait into the Red Sea, and is determined to retain this power in an increasingly (re-)multipolarising world. Particularly with Iran potentially resuming the shipment of oil to the West by sea, this particular bottleneck can be seen as a vital one in the eyes of the United State.
Obviously.
Strategically incredibly important. The name is Bab-el-Mandeb, per Wiki. And who controls Hormuz? Those are the two most geopolitically important straits in teh world, I think. The whole boot of the Arabian peninsular must be brought under USA control . That is surely the main aim with the Yemen action. Is Oman on the USA side? What about UAE?
And, Strait of Kerch (in the Sea of Azov, separating Crimea and Russia) is also of interest. No wonder Russia is speeding up the plan finally to construct a bridge there (or some say a tunnel would be better—but perhaps more vulnerable to terrorist attack).
Katherine
This was a very good discussion.
Re the helpfulness of the chaos to maintain US hegemony, especially financial hegemony at this point, today the US looks less the owner of the casino and more like a huge client fumbling its influence and money away. It’s still big enough to take much of the place down with it, but it no longer has the mind or the ability to control the game. I don’t think the US elite is intellectually and psychologically capable of understanding this.

Does any Russian know the *truth* about the workings of this St.Peterburg address?
About Russia acting with muscle in Aden:
1. The image of a Russian plane being turned away is a sign of extreme weakness. Especially, since for the last two years the Russian air force has been flying everywhere over EU and North America showing itself with bombers and fighter jets. A sign of weakness in the Arab world lasts for decades.
2. The consulate getting bombed by the same nation (Saudi Arabia) is an act of war. When you are weak, you say nothing and do nothing. Remember the Chinese embassy in Kosovo?
3. Russia has a stake in ME. It has allies. It has customers for its most important products (military equipment). It needs to demonstrate air superiority. It needs to show its naval power (surface a few submarines near the blockaded ports).
In geopolitical theatre, either it matters or you lose it. Either you protect your interests or you are shoved aside.
You prevent war by doing what reminds the adversary that they will lose the war. That requires a show of strength, a demonstration of your power.
We have no public word of even an ambassador of Saudi Arabia called into the Kremlin and a protest filed by Russia at what is going on.
Saudi Arabia is an enemy of Russia. It has financed Wahhabi terrorists against Russia. It has led the oil price war against Russia. Now it taunts with its military coalition against Russia.
We don’t have all the facts, but the facts we have (clear to the whole world, to the public who pay attention and to Russia’s avowed enemies) there seems to no reaction by Russia.
A No Fly Zone without the UNSC is illegal. Blockading ports is illegitimate action. The Coalition is basically a terrorist group. None of them were attacked by Houthis. They attacked Yemen and the Yemeni people.
There are several legal basis for Russia to act.
More evidence of the double act i’m afraid.
I want to add this news bulletin from RT to my take above.
http://rt.com/news/246189-troops-aden-port-yemen/
The mystery troops landing in Aden were Chinese PLA!
China, the least aggressive of world powers, have the cojones to use boots on the ground to try to evacuate foreigners (not known if all were Chinese or other nationals, too). They could not hold off attackers but at least got out some to their boat.
“flying all over Eu’-Rus has been at great pains to state planes have been in international airspace, according to agreed protocols, as similar to rus navy in international waters. Disinformation does spread and only conflagrates situations that are deliberately being exaggerated hysterically by NATO and msm..

Dear The Saker,
This story that the Houthi rebels were the one’s who ransacked and looted the consulate just doesn’t sit right:
http://fortruss.blogspot.ca/2015/04/russian-consulate-bombed-and-looted-in.html
Firstly, the Saudi’s bomb and damage the consulate and then somehow the Houthi rebels take all the equipment and paperwork in a truck according to one news source that everyone is quoting? at the same time the Saudi’s stop the plane landing to pick up citizens in Saana….hmm. Sounds fishy.
I am glad a Russian naval ship was there to pick up citizens from Aden and the plane has now been let through.

The US is the global hegemon: it, not Russia has a doctrine of Full Spectrum Dominance (mil. control of Earth, seas, space); it, not Russia has 800 military bases spread around the globe; it, not Russia, has the world’s largest mil/industria complex, which currently supplies 80% of the weapons used in the world’s incessant wars. John Gray, (London School of Economics) warns that the world is now organized for perpetual warfare. We had all better wake up and ask ourselves if we intend for our children to have a future. The US is no longer a benign hegemon; its empire is now the chief source of instability and conflict.

Hey, is that Blogger 51, or a Ziotroll masqerading as him?
Good news from Yemen. Two Russian planes have taken all Russians out of Yemen. One left for Cairo, the second to Djibouti then to Moscow.
http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20150402/1020380558.html
The story I read on RT said that the consulate was looted along with other buildings, because it was abandoned. Saudi gave Russia permission to land the planes but it seems the Saudi air force kept them out. A disconnect between two branches of Saudi rule – at least it can be parsed this way for the moment. Russia didn’t escalate to a military response, but has continued with diplomacy.
Lavrov is saying this should have gone to the UNSC before Saudi’s declaring a no-fly zone. The diplomatic reverberations of all this have yet to be worked out. Russia is pushing for UNSC involvement. It’s too early for any kind of saber-rattling by Russia. Everyone knows she can fight, everyone knows she will not shy away from escalating to whatever level of conduct is realistically required. Russia is attempting to unravel the chaos. Russia is fighting.
RT on evacuation: http://rt.com/news/246185-saudi-russian-evacuation-embassy/
TASS on the UN: http://tass.ru/en/world/786757
All talk of “Russia should send in the marines” is a premature and immature macho thing, and nothing to do with reality. Someone will pay for that consulate, one way or another, but the connection may not be obvious when it happens.
I think we see more and more clearly that Russia will ultimately defeat the US by forcing the UN to act like a true international body, and forcing the US to comply. This will take years, but this is the preferred outcome, and is shown in all of Russia’s moves. It’s happening here in Yemen/Aden
Well done guys
