A question for our Russian friends: This joke says ” Vlad” referring to VVP. Isn’t “Vlad” the nickname for Vladislav? Shouldn’t “Volodya” be used for Vladimir?
The name Vladimir (Владимир) is derived from the Slavic element vladeti, meaning “rule” combined with miru, meaning “peace, world”. This was the name of an 11th-century Grand Prince of Kiev who is venerated as a saint because of his efforts to Christianize his realm (Kievan Rus).
Vladimir has several diminutives: Volodya, Vova (which is a bit too familiar) and Vovochka (which is closely associated with a long-running series of jokes featuring a naughty schoolboy).
Whereas, Vlad (Влад) is the short form of Vladislav. Vlad Dracula, a 15th-century prince of Wallachia, was Bram Stoker’s inspiration for the name of his vampire, Count Dracula.
So, when referring to president Putin, the respectful greeting is Vladimir Vladimirovich or Mr Putin.
the Fly it is not respectfull, she is clearly an agent of the globalist!
naming the president Vladimir Putin as they think of him
(in their minds not much better than Vlad the empaler… Count Dracula
I assume they awake in the middle of the night, sweating,
heavily distressed murmuring This name in terror)
That they have such knowledge about names and history
is like expecting a piece of ice is going to last long in Hell.
My next door neighbor is a retired US Army general. When I told him I was celebrating Putin’s victory, the look on his face was priceless…:)
Hahaha ! Nice, thanks for sharing!
