I found pretty decent maps on the YouTube channel of Iurii Podoliaka and I will do something ugly but, I hope, effective: add a few things to his maps with my thick black marker.
But first, this: it appears that yesterday Putin had ordered a temporary stop to the Russian offensive while talking with “Ze” but when the latter stopped talking, Putin gave a “full ahead” order.
I will begin with an older (by a few hours) map of this:
The ugly think black lines are from me.
Starting at the top left and going clockwise here is what is important:
- Kiev will soon be encircled
- The Ukie forces in the Donbass are fleeing hoping to avoid being surrounded, or “cauldroned” if you wish, (look how long and narrow the red lines are around the Ukies!)
- Mariupol is almost surrounded
- Nikolaev is under attack
Now, another of these maps, but updated.
Again, going clockwise can clearly see the race between the evacuating Ukie forces from the Donbass and the attempt by Russian forces to envelop them in an “operational cauldron”, exactly as predicted.
Next, Nikolaev is either fully surrounded or will be very soon.
So, what does all that mean?
It means that we are coming to some kind of informational climax here. So far, in the West, that information is suppressed (even Sputnik and RT are under regular DDoS attack). I won’t even bother on the 500 foot high wave of disinformation produced by western PSYOPs in the social media. The bottom line is this, pretty soon I expect
- The operational cauldron in the Donbass to lock in the Ukie forces which did not have time to evacuate
- The entire coast from roughly Nikolaev to Mariupol will be liberated
- Kiev will be if not physically surrounded, then at least “surrounded by fire”, which means that main axes of evacuation will come under steady Russian fire control
Notice something else. In the 2nd map, some cities in the Russian rear are circled in blue: Chernigov, Konotop, Sumy, Kharkov and Kherson. I would add Mariupol to that list. These are all cities which were cut off from the rest of the Ukie forces, but which still have pockets of resistance inside, that is especially true of Mariupol where a large Nazi contingent appears to be ready to take its last stand.
All this is to say that the mopping up operations inside bigger cities might take a while. That is normal and won’t affect any outcome.
So right now the western PYSOPs can still throw out as many claims as it wants, but pretty soon the entire narrative will collapse, at which point the Russia-hating-and-bashing hysteria will reach a new feverish pitch. Be mentally prepared for that.
I will conclude with something quite typical: remember how yesteryear tons of weapons were distributed in Kiev? Well, overnight, various gangs have been engaged in firefights, but not against Russians (who have still not entered the city), but against each other. Some of the wannabe Ukie Volkssturm even took a group of SBU officers prisoners. Some rumors report 60 dead or so just overnight.
Let’s hope that this crazy nonsense stops and that some Ukrainian commanders will restore law and order before their entire country turns into a “Mad Max Zone”. If such commanders are found, I am sure that the Russians will not only not engage them, but will even offer some degree of collaboration.
Putin tried to reason with Ze. Predictably, this did not work.
Now the Russians badly need to find somebody to talk to on the other side. If they don’t, Russia will have to continue to take unilateral actions and turn up the pain dial on both Banderastan and the West.
I hope to be back with a summary of the day later.
Andrei
For those who have Yandex Browser, you can right click a menu and click ‘Translate Image’ and get English names on the map.
i know syrilic althogh a litle. Я читаю кириллица.но немного.говорб чут-чут.спасибо товарищ.
translations make it harder for me to understand. I prefer just in Russian :) Яндекс Карта is the best
Я согласен!
I have learned a little Cyrillic since 2014, enough to read place names on a map. Before that, I did not know a single letter of the alphabet. Thanks, Larchmonter445!
Wasn’t able to do this. It just gives me Russian. What should I do?
Learn the Cyrillic alphabet!!
In the meantime,
Kharkhov starts with the characters XA and ends with OB
Mariupol starts with MA . . .
Nikolaev starts with H and ends with EB
Kiev starts with K and ends with EB
So the four circled cities are Kiev, Kramatorsk, Mariupol, and Nikolaev.
IMO if Nikolaev falls, Odessa falls shortly after.
I presume the red circle near Kiev is actually Gostomel, nearby airport taken by the Russian special forces on the first day. Not 100% sure, just my presumption from available data.
Actually not, it is another airport. Gostomel is north west from Kiev. And already completely in Russian hands
The Russian MoD has just stated that Kyiv has been blocked from the western side. The noose is tightening. Zelensky better find some women’s attire for which to escape. Allahu Akbar indeed.

Well at least Porky is out in the streets ready to defend the city. He and some locals and 3 guns at the time. Poroshenko is not the best of planners evidently. ;-) Know what I mean bored brother?
Saker – Have you heard anything about the 9 to 10 NATO-Ukie bioweapon labs including one near Chernolbyl? George Webb on Twitter and a few others are saying that Russia and Putin are in the Ukraine to destroy these labs plus arrest the oligarchs like Pinachuk, Kolomovsky and the other criminals who have been looting the Ukraine and are involved in these bioweapon labs.
Bill Gates had said a new pandemic was coming. I am wondering if this is what made Russia move. Having Nato on your borders is bad enough but Nato with bioweapons labs is even worse. George Webb said that there were concerns about some fever virus that may have been developing to target the Crimea to force the UN (nato) to come into the Crimea. Also Russia came in to end Kolomovsky and his private army and air force with Azov nazis.

Bravo Serbian Girl!
Brilliant! As always!
Do you mean Bill Gates recent statements at the beginning of Feb 2022? If so, then no, highly unlikely this had anything to do with the current situation.
For sure everything – including timeline – was planned before Putin’s “non-ultimatums” last December. The actual plans were probably crystallised between April 2021 (when Russia responded to Ze’s threats by moving a largish force to the border) and sometime in the autumn of 2021 when the West got wind of an invasion planned.
Bearing in mind just how dangerous a neighbour NATO is and how far Russia has gone already it looks like there will be no compromise and no stop until either Russia is defeated or NATO removed from Europe. It is no longer a case of “Don’t poke the bear” – the bear is poked finally and completely. While a real bear might be strong and terrible in anger if a bit clumsy and stupid this Russian bear is highly intelligent, cold in rage and very, very determined.

According to this article –
https://www.nap.edu/read/13315/chapter/25
One of the laboratories in Ukraine that has a permit to work with the microorganisms of the first pathogenic group did, however, recently undergo an international audit as a BSL-3 laboratory and received a preliminary positive evaluation. This is one of the laboratories of the SI (State Institution) “Ukrainian I. I. Mechnikov Anti-Plague Research Institute” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Odessa), which is responsible for the identification of especially dangerous biological pathogens. This laboratory was reconstructed and technically updated up to the BSL-3 level through a cooperative agreement between the United States Department of Defense and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine that started in 2005. The collaboration focuses on preventing the spread of technologies, pathogens, and knowledge that can be used in the development of “biological weapons”.
Another interesting article about the biolabs –
https://www.opindia.com/2022/02/russia-ukraine-invasion-bioweapons-labs-patrushev-putin-wuhan-coronavirus/
Supposedly there is one near Chernobyl?? I was wondering – why there? A friend said, so they would not bomb it – i.e. so close to Chernobyl. Russian troops were is a real hurry to secure the area. I wonder if the main biolab is there or the Ukie’s were talking about blowing up the Chernobyl containment building. Russian troops rushed to get there. I heard they and Ukrainian troops were guarding the area together??
why is there no public statement about this biolab story from the russian gov.
Really?
There are some bridges not worth crossing. Have you any idea how much traction this will get in the Corporate controlled media, which could make Novichok a supposedly proven Russian bio-weapon attack? Not once but repeatedly? Without evidently killing anyone except some crazy story about some chick who got a perfume bottle from a trashcan? I cannot pack enough derision into every aspect of that without going on a page long rant.
The same media which can make a huge thing out of nothing, can even more easily make nothing out of something even this big.
It is probably better if the labs are systematically shut down, destroying samples in the autoclave.
Simply demolishing the buildings with high explosives is likely to scatter the not so nice, no good, dreadful, nasty contents.
Wondering if thermo-barbaric munitions would destroy all pathogens. Surely they would create an incinerator effect?
Now, I will fully admit that my following question is very selfish at this stage of the game, but I can’t help being who I am and I’m also curious.
If Russia cuts diplomatic ties to the West, is cut off from SWIFT, and other measures, just how difficult would it be for me, a Westerner, to either visit Russia as a tourist (I’d need a visa, where would I get it with no embassy any more?) or to permanently move there (transfer money to live and invest)?
Would I be forever stuck in the West, just as people in the USSR were stuck there during the cold war?
There is an electronic visa, but if I remember correctly, it is valid only for parts of Russia. You could apply as a refugee ;).
You can go via Belgrade, 90% of the Serbian people are with what is right, the empire of Lies will collapse soon
Any country determines who they choose to let into their borders or not (ok arguably in the west this is no longer true but that’s a different topic). So if Russia were to decide that the citizens of country x are no longer welcome and you are from said country then there is no way of you entering Russia. Simple as that.
If it’s just an embassy closure say because of ruptured diplomatic ties you might still be able to get a Visa from a Russian embassy in a third country. The question on how to transfer money would be a much more challenging one as it would become very difficult to send funds to Russia from the West without SWIFT. But for now I wouldn’t worry about that because first the dust has to settle and then we’ll see how the new financial relationship between the west and Russia will work.
Alexander P,
…I just can’t figure out all the Western balderdash about SWIFT being such a fatal weapon in the hands of the Uncle Shmuel. If the global financial chiefs have come to a point where they must absolutely – excuse my language F…k around with the idea of completely elimination a country the size of a continent with – who knows – how many thousands of kilometers borders along over a dozen large and small countries, then what SWIFT is good for anyway? When they SWIFT sanctioned smaller countries like, N. Korea, Cuba everything was OK. But when did that on a much bigger country – Iran – we witnessed severe negative repercussions on the global economy. And now they want to try that on Russia? In my opinion it means suicide on the part of the West.
Only for the serfs, the elites are going to be just fine, as long as they can change their own underwear.
It wont, inflation comes in steps here, not all at once.
Transferring money? Why not use a physical crypto wallet and transfer that into any currency?
Hello Markus
Russia is a bit different to most countries – you have to get an invitation before you get a visa. Some years ago this was handled by Intourist in the UK which also arranged your hotel. It was also possible to approach a hotel direct and get an invitation (book your stay) and present this with your visa documents to the Russian embassy. Invitations can also be arranged by Russian residents.
The best way to arrange currency is to carry wads of euros, dollars or pounds and change locally – rates vary a lot so search on the Internet to find the best rates.
If you want to move permanently to Russia the best way would be to take out Russian citizenship – this is not easy (took me 4 years or so).
Have faith – Russia will win this fight and get a new security structure in Europe and the dust will settle and relations back to the halcyon days of the first decade of this century.
Didn’t they pass a new law recently doing away with that invitation system for tourists? And in regards to immigration in general, they’ve been passing a bunch of new laws to make it easier (at least for those who speak Russian). From what I understand, not even all the embassies are up to speed yet, and the best way to get up-to-date info (and have the process take the least time) is to visit Russia and do it there.
I know someone from Canada who got a Russian passport, and the things they were telling him in Canada were different from what he found once he asked in Russia itself.
Please take this conversation to the MFC – off-topic. Mod.
I took a cruise a few years back and Russia was one of the stops…for one day only. We were permitted to visit St. Petersburg as part of the cruise tour without a visa. But, we weren’t permitted to leave the tour group.
Straying a little off topic, might be a good thread for MFC, mod
Too early to know if this would work for Russia, but countries which have broken off diplomatic relations sometimes use the diplomatic facilities of third countries to continue consular activities such as dealing with visa applications or representing expatriates. So when Britain and Libya broke off diplomatic relations in the 1980s, Libyan consular business in the UK was handled by the ‘Libyan Interests Section’ of the Saudi Arabian embassy in London, while British consular business in Libya was handled by the ‘British Interests Section’ of the Italian embassy in the Libyan capital Tripoli.
You could apply for a visa. At an extreme you might have to FedEx your passport to Switzerland or whatever. Even before this it was harder for 5-eyes citizens to visit (due to reciprocal restrictions on Russians probably). At an extreme it might be like Crimea apparently is where ATM machines won’t work with most foreign cards and you can’t use Western credit cards. Even so, there are ways around that.
A nuclear option would be if Western governments prohibited travel entirely, however ideologically that is a hard sell for those who purport to offer freedom.
don’t travel much, Markus? Russia actually has more than one embassy in the world, can you imagine? So you find one where you can easily travel, then visit the Russian embassy there and get your visa. But if the U.S. gov’t bans citizen travel to Russia, then you can’t go, period. Simple concept.
The Saker,
Till now, I couldn’t read anything about Odessa. Could The Saker website provide us the latest update on Odessa?
Also, is there any missile strike against identified targets in Lviv oblast in the heart of the UkroNazi community?
Nothing happening there as far as I know.
All the actions is to the East of Odessa, near Nikolaev.
Same for strikes in the far western Ukraine, I have seen no info about that
sorry!
I am not sure if this comment is publishable, your call.
You are wrong about Odessa. There has been considerable action around Odessa according to Extremist Blogs -with pictures and videos to prove (which I will not link to).
All of this can be verified.
There is clearly a significant Ukraianian force in Odessa and it is well dug in – both outside and inside Odessa,
From what I can tell it is consisting of hard-core nationalists and regulars, with US and UK advisors still present and strong by the look of the weapons and how they are seen being slung. This force seems to be recieving direct real-time support from the US,
The Russian Government has publically stated (reported on Sputnik or RT) that US drones over the Black Sea are assisting forces in and around Odessa.
The Russian Government also reported that a US drone helped Ukraine co-ordinate a counter attack against the Russian operation to take Snake Island from Ukraine (the island is now under Russian control). This is also reported on Sputnik.
According to both extremist blogs and also Sputnik, the Ukrainian Navy has not been destroyed and is still operational (this is supported also by Russian Government statement that x16 Ukrainian gun boats and missile boats were involved in the counter attack on Snake Island, of which 6 were damaged or sunk by Russian warships and air launched missiles, with x10 RTB under cover of Ukrainian anti-ship and anti-air defence missiles still in operation.
These missiles if active are presumed to be close to or on civillian buildings.
The Russians have not commented on thier losses but extremists say Russian warships were hit by anti-ship missiles and anti-tank missiles fired from Ukrainian navy boats (as were several civillian ships too aparently), but no statement from Russia on this.
Extremist footage shows that both land mines and sea mines have been deployed around Odessas beaches (the land mines are not marked on a piblic beach!). Sanitised footage from Odessa shows Ukrainian military vehicle laying mines and is now in the MSM – a simple search will pull it up – with some footage showing kids and dog walkers pointing to the mines in the sand.
Extremist footage also showed the execution of a wounded Russian soldier who raised his hands in surrender.
There is also an extremist video showing the remnants of bodies tied to the back of a Ukrainian personnel carrier showing signs of having been dragged by it.
There has been quite a bit of extremist footage leaked into MSM, with even Info-Wars showing footage of tanks being destroyed – which they alluded were Ukrainian- but which were actually Russian.
So – there is in fact considerable developments in and around Odessa, with Ukrainian navy, Ukrainian regulars, Neo-Nazis, and likely also British and American Special Ops still very much in control, and clearly still with active anti-ship and anti-air missile ability.
This is likely why neither Russian warships, landing craft, or significant numbers of tanks have been sent close to Odessa.
How the Russians will deal with this is anyones guess (they have locked the Ukrainians in by sea and at least prevented resupply / reinforcements by sea, and now that Snake Island has been taken it cant be used as beach head by the US.
All of this can be verified if you care to do the looking up, but be warned, if you visit the extremist sites some of the videos are horrific.
Northrop Grumman RQ-4B Global Hawk back and forth south of Crimea. Flightradar24. Feb 26 3:26PM CST Canada.
If you don’t have any links on your info, then spare us the assumptions. I’ll go on and state that no less than 4 Turkish drones have already been shot down. Where? I dont know, nor do I remember.
Russians dont send in their forces until the given area has been pulverized by stand-off weapons. That can also mean Thermobaric weapons on dug-in forces. The Ukie navy cannot stand a chance against Russian Space-Force stand-off missiles, all of the Ukrainian naval ships, boats don’t stand a chance in hell. Nor do Ukrainian forces have the ability to reach Russian warships. Its fantasy to suggest otherwise from so-called ‘ extremist ‘ sources.
Any links to back up anything you have stated, by ‘ extremist ‘ sources or otherwise ‘ legit ‘ sources?
If your going to troll, at least try a little harder. And we all know the news about the anti-tank weapons from England and the U.S. have been confiscated.
You’re trying super hard to build a hero resistance narrative around ‘ Snake Island ‘, to give the impression that there’s still a brutal, hard slog yet to come, full of setbacks and mass-surrendering of Russian forces. Ridiculous. Again, you are heavily trolling in an amateurish way.
Whats this ‘ extremist ‘ news sources? News doctored in the Pentagon and Israel ( Israhell). Now that all of the airports of Ukraine have been knocked out, at least the military ones, there will be no rescue coming, and the Russian intelligence I’m quite sure know exactly where Zelensky is at all times waiting to intercept him and/or his Jewish/Zionist warmongering fascists.
Another thing, there are no foreign advisers aiding the Ukie’s on the ground. Imagine what precarious situation it would be if American, British etc advisors were taken prisoners by the Russian forces?
I can support this somewhat by yesterdays croatian channel TV News confirmation from one Ustaša Azov volunteer, he said the foreign volunteers started extracting from the country 3 days ago…
Russia getting closer to being taken of the SWIFT system.
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=germany+italy++swift+russia
Which would mean, as far as I can understand it, the shutdown of German industry as they would no longer be able to pay for Russian gas from NS1.
German banks are reportedly already hooked up with Russian system. Disengagement of SWIFT will hurt only the west.
Tom Welsh
That is correct. What we have in Europe is infighting, with plenty of dirty punches thrown about. Why is BoJo in London demanding that Russia be expelled from SWIFT ? The answer is simple. This is a perfidious Anglo-American tactic to subvert both Russia and Germany. If Russia is cut off from SWIFT, it wont be able to receive revenue for oil and gas, shutting down it’s exports. Since Germany would not be able to pay, it would have to resort to importing US energy exports, paying double for American gas.
One analyst has stated that if Russia terminates gas exports to Europe, German industry would have to be taken off the German grid. Maybe an exaggeration, but German exports would be severely hit, being forced to raise prices.
Russia covers 40 % of European oil and gas requirements and more than 1/3 of German. There is no question that if Russia terminates it’s energy exports, that Europe would find itself in a heap of trouble. Perhaps for the better, as it would turn against Washington’s diktats.
Johnson is playing for a big ticket job in the USA after he’s ousted from office, so he’ll say anything, everything to please potential masters. Just look at the utterances of Blair the past 15 years – anything evil and American and he’ll back it. Johnson is following the same path….
US is a puppet of the European oligarchy (Black Nobility, like “Windors”). You have it backwards on who serves whom. The entire Empire serves the oligarchy.
@CalDre
Can you provide examples of the US kowtowing to European elites?
All I know is, the US has been known to impose sanctions, regime change, etc. on countries that try to move away from the US dollar in international business. Saddam Hussein wanted to sell oil in euros, and that didn’t stop the US from invading Iraq.
I’ve been told that every time a new German chancellor is elected, he/she has to meet with the US govt..
German foreign policy at the moment can be characterized as a hysterical crazy woman (Annalena Baerbock) screaming she wants to drive nails into her flesh for the German people. The hurt and economic pain is worth it she says, chanting the L’Oréal slogan: “because I’m worth it.” It is something to do with Green philosophy and vanity, natural gas is so against mother nature anyway and lets scream as we do it guys. Germany is lost.
> Germany would not be able to pay, it would have to resort to importing US energy exports, paying double for American gas.
Dream on. You suppose that USA has the enough of gas to replace GazProm.
And by gas i mean all the facilities to liquify it, to transport it, and to gasify it in Europe.
And those should be new facilities, as existing USA facilities are 100% busy selling gas to China and Japan.
Quatar is already on the record that there is no LNG producers that can replace GazProm’s gaz.
So, no. It is not about German industries paying extra for gas. It is simply about German industries having no gas at all. Go full green…
Actually, Europeans have discovered new energy source to replace Russian Gas.- HOT AIR :)
I also see it that way too, B.F..
But is it obvious to the average Russian? How many know this?
It grinds my gears every time I visit a Russian news outlet like RT or RIA, news breaks out where someone in the German govt. says/does something stupid about Russia, and someone in the comments says Stalin taking pity on the German people in 1945 was a mistake, as if today’s Germany is a sovereign nation that can make its own decisions without any external occupier.
I honestly hope that this is a minority, however vocal, and that most Russians are smart enough to see the USA’s dirty puppetry dating back to the Cold War.
the elite must want to burn the whole financial system and start a new one. This is all crazy stuff that is happening.
You nailed it, Jerry. It’s called Build Back Better. Create a massive crisis that destroys the current situation, then offer the terrified peasants a “solution”
I believe this is Objective #1 in all this, with the US being the principal target in this regard. Once the US collapses then the West will follow and all will be ready to accept whatever offer the Great Resetters make no longer being in any condition to refuse.
The main mechanism used thus far is emergency status due to pandemic. Now we will have emergency status due to military conflict. Because of this military emergency they have an excuse to crash the financial system, one simple but key tactic being to block SWIFT. Don’t be surprised if individual accounts get frozen or limited as happened in Greece not so long ago (50 EU per day max withdrawal). Just as covid was the pretext for many suspensions of normal liberties, so will the operation in Ukraine be used for more of the same.
If they kick Russia out of SWIFT then Russia should demand payment in gold. Biden better be careful because this could finish off the petrodollar.
Russia has its own gold, very much of it. It and China are the world’s largest holders of gold reserves. And the two nations hold their gold reserves in their perspective nations. They are certainly smart about that.
I think Russia (and China) should just announce that they are leaving SWIFT before the West kicks them off. That would be a telling event to the West.
I can not agree more. Its like yelling them to take their SWIFT and shub it up a certain place.
Like saying, “Yo kids, look at how adult states stands tall and are able to run our business without you”.
I belive it would be a completely genious move just now.
Wanna play hardball? Ok, here we go sort of, but yet using soft power.
Turning the sanctions table, now rhat masks are off…
I agree 100% with your sentiments!
Me, too.
Like, who gets in first with the Dear John?
That person has engineered the breakup on his/her terms.
Gnashing of teeth audible worldwide.
Russia should do it NOW.
The Western media is talking about “targeted removal” from Swift.
I assume that means that they continue to pay for gas but nothing else goes through. Of course, that would make no sense since Russia would then get Euros which they could not spend on anything unless they traded Euros with Asian countries for goods.
Nope – western banksters fear total SWIFT sanctions. They know the Russians and Chinese have alternatives to the western money exchange monopoly. Total sanction would show that SWIFT is just another paper tiger. The plans to sanction the Russian Central Bank will also flag warnings to other countries whose central banks are members of the Bank of International Settlemnts (another scheme to take a percentage).
What many people fail to realize is that “disconnecting Russia from SWIFT” is tantamount to “abolishing SWIFT as THE global clearing system”.
It is a one-shot pistol and once West fires it there will be no going back.
Russia has effectively been taken off the Brussels-based international Swift Monetary System. as of Today.

So… daily mail this morning had its war porn headline – 3500 russian soldiers dead. Putin humiliated – which was pulled to later read as a less hysterical title with ” 2800 russian soldiers dead ***per the Ukr Min of Defense.
Clear bullsh** but do we have casualty figures of any kind back?
Look at Syria. They have given very few casualties reported over all the years.
The Russians don’t tally that publicly.
why are you even quoting this nonsense?
Did I not specifically warm you and everybody else about this???
my estimate maybe 20-50 Russian losses so far versus 200+ Ukrainian. The 500+ plus figures (let alone 3500-5000) is just actual cartoon-level propaganda aimed only at the most infantile video game generation of Twitterati who know nothing of war analysis.
Agree 100%. Welcome to MMO Call of Duty chairborne rangers. God help us all from the lies above all
Yesterday there were no more than 50 “Cargo 200” (irretrievable losses of personnel of the RF Armed Forces)
Specifically, the Chechens (the Vostok battalion and the Presidential Regiment Borz) have no scratches, no runny nose, anger that they are not allowed to clean up.
Well, look for yourself, at yesterday’s airborne assault of the Pskov Spetsnaz company (100 people) in Gostomel and their conquest of the Antonov Airport bridgehead, then hold, defend against the reinforced 4th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Result: the railway track near the RF Armed Forces, 200 nationalists from the special units of Ukraine were killed.
There are no casualties in the Russian Armed Forces.
https://www.interfax.ru/world/824549
Yes, the Chechens are very exceptional at what they do. Always the first to go in. They are among the best in the world, and go anywhere they are sent around the world by Hon. Putin and MoD Shoigu. They have been to Donbass in 2014-2015, Syria over the years, and even Libya.
If you want to bring serious punishment down, send in the Chechens, specifically Mr. Khadyrov proud boys, and I being Muslim, I am very proud of them, as I am of the whole Russian Military.
The Daily Heil is as reliable as a chocolate teapot.
people at ASBMilitary on twitter counted I think around 30-50 just from the documented accounts (images etc.), e.g. there was an engineering column that was hit somewhere near kherson if I’m correct (from memory) – and that should be adjusted upwards, but who knows. Operation of this scale, it’s certain to inflict casualties (and given RF is not just bombing everything to oblivion, that’s harder, much), and those nazi thugs are not a joke. Few hundred is my guess, also mostly on the LNDR side as they’re doing the heavy lifting as it seems. But what do I know.
Remember, at least on American corporate media, all of the military experts are briefed by the Pentagon on what to say. We know this to be true. It was revealed quite some time ago, I think during Dubya’s Iraq War. There have been zero reforms in either the US government nor the US corporate media that would lead one to believe that this is no longer the case. In fact, it is hard to imagine that an ‘expert’ could be hired for such a job without getting Pentagon approval.
Thus, the ‘military experts’ on American corporate TV are really just propaganda drones controlled by the Pentagon.

Mickey Mouse News was particularly funny lately. Headlines about the “russians feeling frustrated”. Apparently Mickey’s psychics are able to sense these vibrations from the fact that the lines on the ww2 style maps aren’t moving as fast as predicted by Mickey’s expert mice.
It is not that they predicted those lines going faster, it is that they are frustrated because they know why they are not going faster, and they want the consequence of it going faster – dead civies.

I’ve been following all of this for many weeks now (also on Moon of Alabama and other quality sites). There is, however, one questions which keeps me nagging me an pushed me looking for an answer, but so far I did not find one:
How will the Islamic world react? Is it likely that Muslim States (or some of them) would support the land where one is allowed to built temples for Satan and marry your dog?
Is the Islamic world (I know I know, very diverse, six (?) law schools and all that) waiting for a big blow to deliver to the Big Satan?
Reasonable and informed assessments would be very welcome. Thanks.
As far as I can see on regarding yesterday’s vote in the Security Council deploring the Russian intervention, I believe that two Muslim countries were involved: Albania and the UAE. If there was another, I didn’t see it.
Perhaps not surprisingly, to give the resolution a more “inclusive” veneer, Albania was the co-sponsor along with the US.
Of course, Albania is a puppet state, so what else is new?
However, the UAE abstained, along with China and India.
Maybe that is some kind of indicator of where Muslim opinion is on this one
The eastward expansion of NATO is a source of tension,” President Rayeesi said during the phone talk with Prsedident Putin.

Just the other day, I saw the President of Pakistan shake Putin’s hand with both his hands. In the Islamic world, that is the highest honor you can give someone upon meeting him. A most honorable approach.
The fact that Chechens are involved on Russia’s side should give you an answer!
I’m Muslim, and I wholeheartedly support the Russians.
Temples for Satan, marring dogs? It’s obvious you are fishing. 90 million Iranian Muslims support Russia, 30 million Syrian Muslims support Russia, Russia has about 25-30 million Muslims in its population.
30 million Syrians, about the same amount as Iraqis. Palestinians support Russia. There are about 1.6 billion Muslims, and most are progressive now. It isn’t the medieval ages anymore. I would say most support, or would support Russia given the choice
So my dear Jew, go find a different angle.
Oh ya, I’m also American. And as far as Big Satan, that would be apartheid Israel.
DAQ here. (Dumb American Question)
Do you mean to say that there is a civil war going on in Kiev? Is the SBU Ukraine’s secret service? Maybe handing out guns to whoever wants them is not having the desired affect?
When family members get disappeared by secret service, and remaining family members get free access to military grade weapons you can probably expect payback.
I don’t think people in the west understand how deeply feared, well armed, and ruthless these Asov gangsters are/were. Once the control afforded by fear is broken (see Russian promise of justice) and weapons are acquired (see free AK’s being distributed in Kiev), well …. pissed off takes over.
Hello Jon. SouthFront.org had some video of that. It was brief but, it discussed SBU personnel being captured by ´gangs´ or whatever. It showed an exchange of gunfire and it was fairly lively. They are not shy about burning through ammo. According to SF, handing out the guns has sparked a bit of a wild, wild west scenario in beautiful downtown Kiev, with shooting going on in the city center. So, book your hotel right now!!
One more example of people who should think before they get up and wash their face in the morning, not doing so.
Regards to you JonLX.
Time to send all the Banderites to their Maker.
Let Him sort them all out.
The Saker was right. The West and Ukraine are engaging in disinformation:
https://www.bitchute.com/video/rSyGKevCwMS3/
https://stephenlendman.org/2022/02/26/the-latest-russophobic-rubbish/
The first link pertains to a destroyed Ukrainian tank column. The column was originally portrayed as a destroyed “Russian” column.
The second link pertains to an article which explains, among other things, that a Ukrainian BUK struck that apartment building in Kiev, and not a Russian missile.
Finally, Western corporate media is stating that Putin’s military plans are “behind” schedule, as Ukraine is putting up “stiff” resistance. This, no doubt, is mostly for Russian public consumption, to demoralize the population. Russian encirclement tactics are misrepresented.
The second link by Stephen Lendman has an interesting line:
‘by a misfired Ukrainian Buk-M1 air defense missile.’
–This really begs a review of the entire MH17 incident. Bu don’t hold your breath for the EUSUK axis to be honest.
Ukrainian troops inside Kiev have moved their artillery to civilian areas so that they are protected from direct fire from Russian troops. This is what has slowed the Russian forces down. However, since the nazis have armed the citizenry, maybe when signs of Russia moving in are seen some of the new owners of AR-15s will start taking potshots at the nazis.
“Ukrainian troops inside Kiev have moved their artillery to civilian areas so that they are protected from direct fire from Russian troops”. Nothing drones couldn’t handle with precision. Where are Russia’s drones?
Big Ze skipped the negotiations. All of sudden he reappeared in Lvov. But Poroshenko is still in Kiev and he is parading with assualt rifle and making threats to Ruskies. I hope he will be caught.
Porky is needed for a court interview in the Donbass regarding, “We will have a job – they won’t. (..) We will take care of the people, pensioners, children – they won’t. Our children will go to schools and kindergartens – their children will sit in bomb shelters. Because they can’t do anything.”
https://www.twuko.com/RealPepeEscobar/tweet/1497119225927852033
These words meet the legal definition of intent to commit genocide, which he then carried out.
Oh sweet irony. Now Porky will take cover in a basement.
Some crazies in Poland have attacked the Russian Embasy. This is f…ckin’ embarassing.
IMPORTANT:
He bought himself a day’s pause in the Russian attack.
Time for the Ukrainian army to regroup, reorganize and start digging in – around Kiev for example.
Sounds to me like the shots are being called from Washington.
They will be watching everything from up-high. Real Time.
I think the same. It was all about buying some time at expense of poor Kiev citizens, who belived he is staying with them.
Yes.
But on the world stage – geopolitically – more Ukrainian dead will translate to more opprobrium for Russia. More points for the West. Big part of the game.
Keep the war running – says the man from afar. And his propaganda machine.
I suspect the Russians won’t make any mistakes like this again.
One has to question the Kiev leadership – that is willing to sacrifice its own people in this way.
But its nothing new. We remember the market place bombings in Sarajevo. Most likely also thought up in Washington.
One thing is certain. Western Media won’t ask that question. On the contrary, they are hyping fake stories like with the defenders of the Snake Island and Ghost of Kiev to encourage more young Ukrainians to become regime’s kamikadze.
Yes. I even saw on Sky news this evening – that the pause in Russian operations was a sign that things that weren’t going well for the Russian army.
No mention of the offer to negotiate from Ze.
It is quite remarkable.
Did we really learn nothing from the Iraq war? Because we found out afterwards – after we destroyed a whole country – that everything they told us was a lie. Everything.
And that is just the most obvious case. Before that was Yugoslavia – Milosevic was actually killed in captivity when it looked like he was going to win his case at the ICTY. After that there was Libya, Syria, Yemen is still ongoing.
The real danger with deliberate misinformation is that even the people who call the shots start to believe it. Hence the term “echo chamber”.
We will fight to the last Ukrainian!
Yes. America is very fond of its “proxy forces”.
But they are appearing quite cowardly in this case. Throwing gas on the fire from a distance, prodding the Ukrainians to fight because of a situation the Americans themselves created.
Although nobody wants to start WW3.
Nobody out there seems to realize – not even the Ukrainians themselves: Ukraine in NATO would most likely translate in the future to Game Over for Russia.
An absolutely crucial existential threat to Mother Russia.
It would seem that the Amis – or more precisely the Neocons – still have designs on ruling the world.
Once this Ukrainian chapter is over – it will be interesting to see what are these “military-technical measures” the russians have up their sleeve.
As I strongly suspect that they are not bluffing – about any of this – they are deadly serious.
And so in due course we can expect more serious events & situations to unfold.
I suspect that this will carry on for a few years now …
Please apologize that my request is specifically off topic, but very important in general, please check whether French soldiers attacked a cargo Russian civilian ship in the English Channel with a helicopter and kidnapped it and forcibly captured it in the port of Boulogne sur Mer. Putn said that he fulfilled what he said: anyone who does something against the Russians will regret it terribly. If the truth is to forcibly free the Russian sailors from the civilian ship and punish the insolence of France, thank you, I am not able to check the news, and you are here with the Truth.
Customs inspection, escort to the port, waiting for the court.
The answer of course will be – they asked for it.
They did force one to port and said due to sanctions and money, blah blah blah…. Yeah, they are fools. Western nations are suffering impotent rage. France has tons of assets in Russia from business. Games of snatching businesses and assets makes everyone lose. More signs of stupid leadership.
I followed France 24, found them to present voices from more than just Nato and Mic.
They claimed earlier today, that there was some ship intercepted and by force taken to a french port, and that the ship was russian, heading for St Petersburg. And the said background was some sanctions.
I am assuming it would be to stupid to make fake news about that.
Just my five cent. Did not see the actual event first hand, but refering to France 24.
Confirmed in various western media as well as rt / Sputnik /PressTv. That has very serious fallout.Geneva 1958 article 22-there are legally only three reasons, for military units to board a merchant ship on the high seas-1) the vessels fly the same country flag.2) the merchant vessel is involved in the slave trade.3) Merchant vessel is involved in piracy. In this case all three are a no,no-the cargo being motor vehicles.Act of war by France-provocation.Sanctions are still illegal.Salaam.
I wouldn’t expect those laboratories to be destroyed by the Russians until after Russian experts have had the opportunity to go in and document just exactly what they were working on. Western MSM hysteria will go completely off the scale attempting to drown out the truth that comes out. If the Russians hadn’t quickly destroyed the Ukie command apparatus a lot of those labs would likely have been blown up already, unleashing god knows what pathogens across the landscape.
Of course the West is showing how mature they are by harassing the diplomatic staff as they leave. Just like Their Nazis friends are pulling civilians out of cars and killing them. And their Nazis friends beat and humiliate the POWs they capture.
Russia meanwhile, feeds, clothes, gives phone calls home to family, a document to sign and will go home. Western society is fallen to massive lows. Depressing.
The maps here are much closer to what I have seen. There is going to be a closing of the Cauldron very soon. I guarantee that. It is horrible to see, but when videos of the Aidar, Azov, Pravij sector types pulling a family out of the car and killing them to the screams of the children in the back of the car… That’s why there is an operation. Donbass lived with this for 8 years. These are the friends of the US. Just like the TOW missiles were supplied to ISIS and Al Qaida in Syria.
They think too well of us – Russians! )))
The main blows and boilers are yet to come.
Somehow, a landing in the Dniester estuary (near the villages of Polimanovskoye and Nikolaevka))) with a 60-kilometer march to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). And further to Chernivtsi and Uzhgorod – the entire “Territory 404” will be in the boiler.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will exercise control along the entire border of ex-Ukraine: in sea, air and land space!
And the Ukronazis will have only one way to escape – to dig into the ground in the cemetery.
As soon as I hear of lifeless Nazis stretching 300m long, piled 3 by 2 high in a cuboid formation I’ll perk up.

“You have two options. Start a Third World War, go to war with Russia, physically. Or two, make sure that the country that acts so contrary to international law ends up paying a price for having done it,” – President Biden
Pot, Kettle, Black, hypocritical jackass, when are the ‘Sanctions from Hell’ going to be applied to the US/UK for all of there ‘actions contrary to international law’ then? Oh yes, one rule for us, one rule for everyone else. Were ‘exceptional’….. This is EXACTLY why Russia has been forced into the action we are now seeing unfold, I for one welcome the new multipolar World and have great hope for the future.

I’m sorry, I received confirmation from RT that this is exactly how it was, as I asked you, it’s getting harder on the internet or it’s slowed down or something is skipping, etc. Thank you.
This is a real shame: “Germany will delivery 1000 anti tank guide weapons and 500 anti aircraft Stinger system
https://actualidad.rt.com/actualidad/421621-alemania-enviar-armas-antitanques-stinger-ucrania
How is this possible? Why does Russia just destroy the weapons as they cross the border into Ukraine?
most of that kit, if it is sent, will end up in Russian hands anyway
Plus it was probably already sent and now just being reported as so.
These guys love the theater until it just literally kills them.
End then pass them to Syrians.
500 stingers?
okay, there is no doubt in my mind what that will have as a consequence
absolutely, totally, irresponsible.
The Germans have totally caved in to the US
nauseating
The Germans did a lot of lethal damage to Russians in WW1. Then they did a lot of lethal damage to Russians in WW2. Now they want to do lethal damage to Russians in 2022.
Sadly, it appears that the current generation of Germans have forgotten the lessons of history.
History moves in circles. That is not a good thing for German people.
Remember Olaf’s reaction to claims of genocide against ethnic Russians in Donbass?
Some of us won’t forget. Deutschland has decided to go down the hari kari route. Their choice.
Could you imagine Germany arming Palestinians and Hezbollah with Stingers to defend themselves?
Agreed.
IMO, just cut off the gas/oil, (I have to admire the way they Gasprom/Putin have stuck to suppling over the years in light of everything, I would have lost patience long ago!) and sell it to China/India on long term contract, sorry really think that it’s time that Russia did this.
I know it will cause more international ‘outcry’, but it’s about time that the pain was wound up and these morons start to understand that there are consequences to their actions.
I agree. That would cause more damage than anything Germany has faced since WW2.
German Evening News (ARD) – interviewing Ukie refugees on Polish side of border. Apparently, the Ukrainian Border guards are not allowing people to flee. Appears the Ukie’s are throughly checking everyone’s documents. so throughly are the checks that it’s taking 20-30 hours wait to get through the Ukie border checkpoint.
Finally – also appears Ukie border guards aren’t letting menfolk out.
Just gleening all this from a series of interviews listening closely to what the refugees are saying.
Ukrainian men ages 18-60 are not alllowed to leave ukraine during wartime. So yes the border guards are checking. How do I know? I live in Kiev.
the netherlans also sends 200 stingers. russian soldiers need close air support. did they learn nothing in syria ?
It’s just an announcement by the Germans.Even more so than their “openness to eject Russia from SWIFT.”
It’s a fragile coalition and the mass media in Germany are 98% transatlantic presstitutes. I know them, it’s my home country. Their pressure is immense and the German Greens in that coalition are essentially a pro-US war party. I could well imagine they leave the coalition and team up with the Christian conservatives or go for fresh elections. (For months in 2021 there was a high likelihood that Baerbock would win and become chancellor – imagine what THAT would mean!)
I am actually positively surprised that the chancellor Scholz didn’t immediately bow to the USA’s demands.
I would be highly surprised if the Germans actually delivered these weapons anytime soon , if ever.
I am genuinely worried, but still praying, hoping for the best.
The whole German media was hammering Scholz to approve weapon deliveries for weeks now. Since Russia went all-in it became a tornado. The whole EU press joined in. European Mainstream Twitter. All main political parties in Germany. Their youth organizations. There were even demands he should resign already…
Same with SWIFT, he was the last European Leader to “resist”, but gave in a few ours ago.
Interestingly Biden himself wasn’t so sure about banning Russia from SWIFT.
https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1497617588372881414?t=ubE-ENZT27izA7NWVl9e6w&s=19
But it would be fitting. The EU kills it’s energy imports and the US applauds and carries on making business with Russia like nothing happened. But even than the EU media would give it some “reasonable” spin.
I give it five minutes before Russian intelligence knows where those Stingers are, where they are coming in from, and have plans to take them out either as or before they cross the border (in a deniable way, at that.) And if they do make it in country, Russia will find them and take them out before they can be distributed.
This stuff is all just to show that “NATO is doing something” – when in reality they’re doing nothing and they know it. Except shooting themselves in the foot by canceling NS2 and cutting Russia off from SWIFT.
As for that latter, I expect Alexander Mercouris will be ticked off, since he’s been predicting they wouldn’t do it. His video the other day showed him as clearly agitated and angry compared to his usual poise. Haven’t been on Youtube yesterday or today (so far) so not caught up.
I saw a video, I cant seem to locate it, showing the Russian forces parading and showing the media confiscated anti-tank( of the fire-and-forget variety, very sophisticated ) from both the U.S. and England. Hundreds of units.
If more are sent, more will fall into the hands of the Russian forces.
Love the Saker Analysis, but someone please explain this to me. It’s reported that NATO countries are supposedly sending weapons, fuel, etc to Ukraine. How is this possible? Why doesn’t Russia just destroy the convoys as they enter Ukraine? Does Russia not have total air superiority over Ukraine?
Thanks
maybe it’s not true about the delivery of the weapons. I’m just thinking, where would they send them to? Who would receive them? especially since communications are being disrupted, and military are not in contact with the people who command them, so how would they receive these weapons. Doesn’t really make sense to me. But then I’m not a military person either.
Hello Rufus,
Well the airport in Kiev is under new ownership and the rest of the airfields have been hit so, …………. I guess they are going to bring it in on camel back.
Some of this ´news´, posturing is beyond insane to me. If it were not for the seriousness of the actual situation, Ze might be able to use it as material for the comeback in his career as a comdeian.
If it sound utterly stupid, it is probably BS. Give it the smell test first. My take Rufus.
Basically impossible logistically. A pacifier for the crying baby to keep him from throwing a tantrum.
The only thing they can do is bring them in via truck across the Polish or other border. Presumably Russia has eyes on everything going on there, probably from satellite, aerial surveillance and agents on the ground. Certainly they will have aerial eyes on the Ukraine side.
If Russia has decent enough intelligence in Germany, a priority would be to determine where those Stingers are being shipped from, what transportation method is being done, track the transport itself to determine where it lands in Poland or wherever, then arrange an interdiction either in Poland or as soon as the shipment reaches the Ukraine border.
Yesterday the idiot Ned Price suggested they could still deliver weapons by air because “Russian control of Ukrainian air space is still contested.” I practically fell off the chair laughing. This is how ridiculous these idiots have become. Nothing is beyond them in terms of bovine evacuation.
Thank you for the update, I suppose taking out the Nazis is number one for Russia, they are using Bandera cars in the same fashion as terrorists use and have used in Syria, Iraq, Libya etc, outside forces have taught them how to use them to hit and run in the Donbas and they have killed many civilians where no military bases or posts exist.
I think Zelensky is now just a figurehead and that Washington is running the show, so the spilling of more Ukrainian blood won’t matter to the faceless creeps in Washington D.C.
Will a Ukrainian military commander come forward and take control, or will Washington begin to flood Ukraine with all types of terrorists that they used in Syria and Libya etc to keep the war going.
Thanks Saker for this update with maps.
I think the collective West is already very hysterical when you see how far their sanctions and msm/social network news is currently at. Sanctions for Putin and Lavrov yesterday has, as far as diplomacy is concerned, the icing on the cake. The Brandenburg gates were shone with the colours of the Ukrainian flag; The UK flew the Ukie flag on top of 10 Downing Street and at the MI6 building. There are co-ordinated protests across UK/Europe and the closing of airspace to Russia keeps growing. The French wanted to show the US today how obedient they are by stopping and taking a Russian commercial ship , sanctioned by the US, as it was sailing in the English Chanel.
The theatrical and frankly embarrassing UN security council meeting yesterday showed the West’s and Ukraine’s childish attitude with their one-sided resolution. I may have missed it (or RT didn’t show it) but the Russian Ambassador to the UNSC didn’t mention that Putin/Russia had stopped the operation yesterday for negotiations – which would have shown to the Council their wish for dialogue by stopping the op and therefore the resolution (a bit of good PR). It only came out today when Putin ordered the operations to re-start and then it was in the English speaking Russian news like RT and Sputnik.
The council meeting was also covering up this attack by Ukraine/US:
https://tass.com/russia/1412053
I think the hysteria will culminate with the expulsion from swift and there is nothing left to sanction!
What Russia thinks:
https://www.rt.com/russia/550698-medvedev-russia-sanctions-opinion/
https://www.rt.com/russia/550713-space-russia-china-projects/
Ze fled Kiev yesterday and is in Lvov. Can’t any of the opposition step forward (the more pro-Russian)? The military didn’t respond yesterday to Putin’s plea. So what are the options for Russia?
(can’t connect to sputniknews which was working earlier…)
Info from Dnipro and Kiev suburb (co-workers) – electricity and water available, food supplies with minor dificulties, phones and internet work so far.
Seems to me that there is a good will not to create panicin the civil population, even if it would have make the job for Ru easier.
Saker,
It looks like the UA has a lot of open country to cross under hostile skies. That assumes they have the fuel to make it out. Wouldn’t that leave them to stay put?
Viewing MSM last night, Sky, the Ukrainian forces riding atop an APC, in Kerson, looked like ISIS riding in their Toyota pickups. Worse than Mad Max.
Riding on the of the these older APCs is nothing strange. Russians are doing it often too.
Older APC is very weak against modern anti-tank systems and every one prefers quick departure. You won’t see this kind of behaviour on more modern ones like BMP-3.
I’m Rootin for Putin!!!
You read it here first, so if the slogan catches on, I’d like all future “Tee Shirt” sales revenues directed here to The Saker site…Big thumbs up!
How about a picture of a RAF soldier in full battle dress with the caption underneath,
“Rootin, Tootin and Shootin for Putin and the liberation of Ukraine”
It’s reassuring to boot that the Chechens are committing themselves fully to defeating the drug addicted Ukronazis and their sponsors abroad. If there’s something which indeed can be taken for granted in this war, it’s the conclusion that the Chechens will make minced meat of the Nazis and whomever joined their ranks.
It’s a given because
1) the Chechens are liberating Russian lands, and the very prospect of a successful accomplishment pushes their already battle-hardened determination and readiness to the levels of true elite soldiery
2) the Ukronazis, while fanaticized, rely on absolute horseshit ’solidarity’ from a Benign Protection provider in the form of NATO which intends to get the Ukro military hooked on US junk. The Ukronazis’ firm belief in NATO’s greatness, while genuine, is deluded in the extreme unlike the Chechens’ sense of belonging to and faith in Russia.
3) Chechen volunteers don’t resort to substance abuse, unlike the junkies and other assorted rabble they are confronting. Courage and morale trump drug-induced stupor and cowardly, gratuitous violence.
4. The Russian government is extremely dexterous and professional, knowing it can trust the vast majority of the citizenry inside the RF and that it is gaining ever stronger support and approval globally. The Ukronazis have the Western Lügenpresse and its faithful consumers as their voice of support. Doesn’t count for anything really.
Maidan could’ve been snuffed out quickly, if Yanukovych requested CSTO help. Why did that not happen? Why did not Putin suggest this?
Yanukovych called the army into kyev. Then, an agreement was made with opposition, EU, US, that there will be new elections. Everyone agreed. He sent the army away, and the EU and US betrayed him, inciting the coup. Yanukovych fled, if there was not russia, he would be killed.
The nazi toom the power. The rest is known history.
The Maidan protests should have been handled in the same manner that the Kazakhstan protests were handled. The U.S. was likely behind both protests, as well as those in Belarus. Perhaps Putin learned a hard lesson from the Maidan protests: the U.S./NATO/Biden cannot ever be trusted. The Ukraine is now the victim, not of Putin/Russia, but of the U.S./NATO. This never had to happen, and wherever the U.S. meddles chaos and violence ensues from which millions of refugees must flee. And the U.S. remains untouched.
U.S. officials met with Putin the day before and asked him if he would agree to not allow the Ukrainian president to use the army against the demonstrators. Putin agreed. The next day was the coup. Later in an interview Putin admitted he was tricked.
Andrei – Thank you for this update! Your work is greatly appreciated!
This is a golden opportunity by the US Globalists to drive a schism between Russia & Europe which could last for decades. Zelensky & his supporters are useful idiots, expendable pawns. Sakishvili’s attempt to annex S. Osettian territory for Georgia in 2008 was a similar operation.
Logic suggest the “US Globalists” are on the “to do” list. They don’t have decades. It’s civizational… When they realize that they’ll go apechit.

Very good battlefield sitrep updates and analysis on video, the last one from one hour ago
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pe5Kml-GwcM
All the war porn hysteria from the so called news in the UK has been how the Russians will hit Kiev, including with heavy weapons and tanks into the City, thats probably what they are hoping for heavy civilian casualties,i doubt the Russians will engage in a Grozny style battle, they may and try to take the leadership with a special operation to end the madness of the fascists,of course i could be totally wrong.
The fools on social media cheering on the distribution of 25,000 assault rifles and 10,000.000 rounds of amunition to civilians in Kiev: Do they not see what a desperate & cynical move this is? 100% designed to manufacture avoidable civilian deaths. Anything that might help to smear the Russian Army is no doubt welcome, civilian deaths being the most welcome and effective smear of all.
Okay, my turn.
Firstly, the link to the YouTube channel our Saker mentioned can be found here:
See: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSQSxUJb4zH1SEpzNerSLLg/videos .
Now concerning the foolish Russian youth who are protesting in various cities against the liberation of Ukraine from the Nazi’s in control of Kiev. Russian internal police have taken them into custody for public disturbance violations and they will be released later.
However I think these kids and their parents need to be brought in too and a frank discussion held about what is really going on and the necessity to do the right thing now and not wait until U.S.-NATO has brigades of surface-to-surface missile batteries installed in Eastern Ukraine pointed at Russia.
Even if President Putin himself has to hold a close door meeting and explain to them the raw truth around:
1. The U.S. spent 5 billion dollars to foment a political coup against the Kiev government in 2014
2. The Azov Battalion Nazis in control of Kiev that claim Russia and her people are enemies
3. Donbass citizens are forbidden to speak the Russian language
4. Eight years of violent genocide against Russians living in Donbass
5. The lack of fair debate in the Duma concerning political issues important to Donbass residents
6. The failure of Ukraine to enact the Minsk II UN approved agreement to end hostilities against Donbass
7. The desire of Ukraine to obtain nuclear weapons
8. The disruption of fresh water to the Crimean Federal District
9. The installation of U.S. laboratories in Ukraine to develop biological weapons
10. The transformation of NATO into a military mercenary group designed to further the U.S. unipolar agenda
Putin can also have dozens of Donbass evacuees tell their story to these protesters of how they have suffered the loss of family, friends, neighbors and destruction of property at the hand of these Nazi thugs as well.
What’s the point? The very same people shed no tears in 2014/15 for Russian speaking Ukrainians being attacked/killed in Donbass. These scum should instead be shot as traitors with duplicates replacing them so as to continue receiving the money transfers the west send.
Any comment on this
https://southfront.org/breaking-donetsk-under-intense-fire/
It seems to run contrary to the map Saker showed, as the report says “There is a high probability that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch an attack in the direction of Donetsk and try to take the city.” This is from southfront so it’s not western propaganda.
SF has been useless for years.
And there seem to be several Mikes/Mikaels who are repeating similar questions, article after article.

This is the third time I’m reading it since the beginning of Russian denazification, and I’m not reading all the comments on all topics (I rely for the war news on other channels).

Right now the war is being waged as follows: Russia fights an actual, real ground war, where it is rapidly accruing victories and objectives, while the Degenerate Empire fights in the Informational Space, which is the only place left that the decaying West is capable of still holding its own against Russia.
We are seeing massive coordinated propaganda campaign consisting of the fully galvanized globalist core of the technofascist-governmental merged entity the likes of which have only recently been seen during the global ‘pandemic crisis’ in terms of the scale of the campaign for censorship and control of the informational space as coordinated between all world governments aligned together with all global corporate entities. Not only are orchestrated NGO protest movements being launched in every major city of the world (giant Ukrainian flag unfurling in Times Square, for instance), but every corporate shill media personality under the sun is being paid to sponsor Ukraine. From Madonna to various professional athletes, to the official The Simpsons account–all have come out with the same hollow, faux-virtuous “Slava Ukraini” messages, identical to the mass push for the BLM and Transgender/Queer rights movements. Not to mention the massive hack attacks that have taken down a slew of websites from the Russian informational space, and the OVERT systemic / governmental attacks on those same sites like the fact that Britain and several other countries are now in the stages of banning RT/Sputnik etc (there were several other eastern European countries joining in on that ban last I heard).
Yes, it is undeniable in that theatre of informational space, Russia stands no chance against the globalist cabal which consolidates its power more and more each day. But in the arena of actual on the ground combat, Russia continues to show it has no equal.
Today, it was announced by Russian foreign ministers that yesterday Putin had in fact given a HALT order to combat operations across Ukraine, with the intention of extending a diplomatic olive branch to Zelensky and co. as they had signaled they were ready for negotiations. This is the explanation for what seemed like ‘slow progress’ towards the 2nd half of the day. But after this failed, Russian forces have resumed combat and once again made massive gains in several directions.
As Saker points out on his map, there is confirmed Russian takeovers in towns like Tokmak, with Russian troops spotted in both Berdyansk (https://twitter.com/200_zoka/status/1497575184890486784) and as far as Osipenko which is very close to Mariupol. By roadways measurement, this is a whopping 250km from Crimea, which in about 2.5 days of operations so far averages to roughly 100km a day advance, which is unprecedented in history. I outlined in an earlier post that the famed German Blitzkrieg at its fastest reached 50km per day, averaging more realistically 9km over the course of operation. American blitz on Bagdad in 2003 averaged 22km per day, taking 3 weeks to cover 400km+ to cap Bagdad. So 250km for Russian thrust in 2.5 days is quite a remarkable operational success.
Russian tanks in Tokmak which has clearly just seen combat https://twitter.com/200_zoka/status/1497547425548054532
Russian troops already seen in Chernihivka 35km east of Tokmak. This is a massive 75km gain from Melitopol which was only announced earlier that it was taken. So clearly the territory north-east and east of Melitopol is falling very fast and closing in on a massive pincer over Mariupol. https://twitter.com/200_zoka/status/1497582302196473858
Elsewhere, Novorosiyan (NR) assault reached Staronativka, north of Mariupol. Evidence here: https://twitter.com/200_zoka/status/1497583590724575239
And slightly west of there in a village of Donskoye, Russian forces already spotted https://twitter.com/i/status/1497578742146809861
The pincer movement is setting over Mariupol from every direction and the huge swath of territory all to the north of Mariupol is completely falling to Rus/NR hands.
Columns already spotted near Mariupol https://twitter.com/200_zoka/status/1497563521541943298
170km directly north of Crimea, large Russian convoys spotted in Enerhodar (once again 170km in 2.5 days in a completely different direction, that is massively fast gains) https://twitter.com/i/status/1497577978850643970 and also Vasilyvka much farther east of Enerhodar. Basically everything north of Crimea is falling for 200-300km in every direction. And the large city of ZAPORIZHZHIYA north of there, with its Nuclear Power plant is also set to be captured as Russian forces are seen approaching the area.
On northern axis, Russian tank troops in Bakhmach which is past Konotop, on the way to Kiev from the northeast axis, which is pushing deep into Ukie territory https://twitter.com/200_zoka/status/1497564495824232450
That would put them only 140km from the eastern side of Kiev and a completely new envelopment axis.
Almost EVERY top OSINT/ELINT/RUMINT Ukie account has been extremely silent today for going on 6-8 hours. There’s almost nothing to report for them because once Putin resumed operations, Ukraine has taken massive losses today. From dozens of Ukrainian vehicles destroyed, to things like large Ukie An26 shot down https://twitter.com/ASBMilitary/status/1497579401533403136
Now a few important things to mention:
-there are some questions regarding how Ukraine is still able to maintain air and anti-air assets after Russia had claimed to disable their airforce.
I will provide the answer again, as it is very simple. EVERY neighboring “nato-allied / nato-sphere” country is currently massively assisting Ukraine under the orders of CIA/U.S. state dept. On the night of opening salvo, Ukraine moved a large part of its airforce into Poland and U.S. has been instrumental in coordinating between Ukraine/Poland in pretty much playing “whack a mole” with allowing Poland to literally give Ukrainian airforce a carte-blance on-the-fly escape route for its planes to escape, refuel come back for sortie over Ukraine, then escape again.
How do I know this? Besides intelligent news gathering from various sources, there is also evidence from flight-tracker accounts that have shown repeated flights for the past 3 days from western Ukraine into Poland AND BACK, mostly of cargo planes, but it can obviously be further inferred of other planes as well. I’m talking about Lyvov, Ukraine.
Now this brings me to an important point: for some reason it SEEMS, Russia is allowing Ukraine to maintain a small air presence/air resupply capability in the western end of Ukraine around Lyvov. We know Lyvov is now being billed as Ukraine’s “2nd capital” and many people are speculating that not only has Zelensky and top staff fled there already, but that Lyvov will actually be declared the new wartime capital of Ukraine very soon once Russian forces seize Kiev (as early as tonight). So the question remains why does Russia permit Lyvov to function as a untouchable bubble?
There are several educated guesses based on my experience of analysis in this field.
1. there may have been some kind of behind the scenes deal reached between Russia/U.S. puppet masters to have Lyvov administrative center as “hands off” similar to how in Syria deals were reached about various ‘bubble zones’ like the infamous “Al-Tanf”. This could lead to eventual situation where U.S./NATO declares (by way of secret deal?) a small ‘government-in-exile’ republic over there and moves in Nato assets to protect western Ukraine in the same way the U.S. did to Kurdistan zone of Syria. This move may seem unlikely but it would happen after a major falseflag where Russia would be blamed for something SO catastrophic (likely in Kiev) that NATO would muster the resolve to carve out this small frontier. i.e. “Russians gassed Kiev” etc etc. There are already reports in CNN today that “Putin is handing out gas masks to Russian soldiers” with the obvious implication being that he intends to start gassing the Ukrainian population, so don’t think this is out of the question.
2. there is the possibility that Russia’s reach is limited towards Lyvov as it does represent the furthest end of Ukraine and so there is more of a blindspot there. Remember, Ukraine is the largest country in Europe by area-size (well, if you don’t count Russia, that is). Even Russian S-400’s actually cannot reach as far as Lyvov from anywhere Russian forces are currently operating, believe it or not. Lyvov is as far as 700km++ from many of the regions where Russian forces currently operate. There HAVE been airstrikes in that area but they are minimal compared to elsewhere for possibly those reasons. Also it can’t be ruled out that NATO/U.S. is already carving out that zone with EW warfare, limiting usage of Russian drones/missiles accuracy etc.
3. the last possibility is possibly the most realistic: Lyvov has emerged as the main corridor for refugees fleeing all of Ukraine and particularly Kiev. Russia may be allowing Kiev this one indulgence of having that space to itself without much attacks because Russia is trying to heavily play the humanitarian role and not risk any civilian casualties whatsoever. There are photos/videos of huge ‘refugee’ columns streaming through Lyvov as the processing center into Poland. Knowing the Ukie penchant for falseflags and desire to use civilians as human shields, and given the vast distance which limits Russian airpower there, Russia may be playing it safe and allowing Ukraine to maintain some semblance of its operations in that region, which unfortunately includes a bit of cover for the shabby remainder of their airforce (if anything remains at all, now).
Now as to current #BREAKING NEWS
1. Same radio squawk channels that were active with Russian bombers an hour before the opening night’s strikes have been active moments ago, analysts claiming Russian heavy bombers taking off to strike targets around Kiev.
2. this is in conjunction to very large column of mechanized forces are spotted all around Kiev closing in as a ‘final battle’ of sorts may be in the early stages of going down tonight in Kiev. Yesterday we saw Russian scout/spetsnaz/airborne forces penetrate towards central Kiev in what seemed only an early ‘testing’ strikes where they are softening up and reconn-ing the Ukrop defensive formations there, but now the real army is moving in.
-And also, the first Chechen reinforcements have in fact been spotted in several places in Ukraine including Hostomel, the leading bridgehead outside of Kiev, which means Chechen shock troops may be amongst the first to storm Kiev tonight (?). There’s many videos but here’s most pertinent one, Chechen troops outside Kiev tearing down Ukie flag to replace with Russian: https://twitter.com/i/status/1497580840808812546
So we’ll see if there’s a large invasion of Kiev tonight or if Russia continues to wait to gather more forces from other axes.
Some random info:
many videos emerging of Ukrops now fielding British NLAWS (Brit equivalent of Javelin) https://twitter.com/i/status/1497649187831300097
Now Germany has officially announced to send 1000’s of Stingers to Ukraine (as well as other countries joining in).
They are dead set on turning Ukraine into a new “Afghanistan” for Russia.
Ok that’s it for now. There’s a lot more things I wanted to address but will keep it shorter for now and wait for some more developments.
This is an excellent and accurate synopsis. Thank you.
Regarding the likelihood of a NATO enclave in Lviv: how do you think Russia would respond to the West’s establishing a Nazi/Islamist stronghold there, under a Western nuclear/EW umbrella, that would provide an endless stream of terrorist cells to attack Russian forces and/or a post-Zelensky government in Kiev? Wouldn’t that still pose a significant hazard to Russia, especially if the West decides to station intermediate-range, nuclear-capable ballistic missiles in a rump Galician state?
To further back this up, the following from Telegram:
Ичкерийские ресурсы передают, что проживающий в Лондоне Ахмед Закаев предложил Зеленскому подписать соглашение о “военном сотрудничестве между двумя сторонами”, благодаря которому чеченские добровольцы из Европы смогут воевать против России
@voenkorKotenok
Google Translate:
Ichkerian resources report that Akhmed Zakayev, who lives in London, offered Zelensky to sign an agreement on “military cooperation between the two sides”, thanks to which Chechen volunteers from Europe will be able to fight against Russia @voenkorKotenok
To answer your question: Honestly, I think Russia would react positively to that because you have to figure into the equation under what CONTEXT would such a hypothetical situation occur? Just to play a hypothetical game, it would likely occur under the context that Russia has already seized all of Ukraine and Kiev, and now negotiates from the position of power / upper hand (otherwise, why else would this hypothetical desperate enclave be happening?). And so with the upper hand in negotiations, what type of concessions do you think Russia would be able to garner from such a position of strength in exchange for this enclave? I don’t care to speculate at the moment since it’s enough to make my point, but you can imagine that Russia would get something very large as a concession in exchange in such a hypothetical ‘secret deal’, and it would be something large enough that Russia would be content in exchanging a small enclave for the likely control of the rest of the entire country etc. Otherwise, from a position of strength at the negotiating table, if the concession from NATO wasn’t big enough, then Russia would probably not allow this ‘enclave’.
But of course it all depends because if the situational context is something completely different, such as western psyop forces able to pull off a massive falseflag operation on the scale of 9/11, blaming Russia for some atrocity in Kiev, then the global concensus and impetus may be so forceful that Russia would literally have no choice but to give up that enclave or face the prospect of nuclear showdown vs. all of NATO. And having captured the rest of their objectives I would think in such a situation, Russia would be ok with slightly compromising and saying “ok screw it, let them have Lyvov, while we take the rest of the country”. Similar compromises have constantly been made by Russia in Syria and elsewhere.
But this is all just to play devil’s advocate and such but I do think NATO has such ideas as contingency plan because they’ve already amassed a large presence in that region. For anyone that’s been following various flighttrackers and such, you’d know NATO has around the clock 24/7 fight jets circling and being air-refueled all over the place there on Poland/Romanian side and over Black Sea etc. Drones of every nature and AWAC planes and god knows what else. In fact Konashenkov announced just today that U.S. drones helped Ukraine launch a boat attack on Russian ship not far from there in Black Sea by guiding the boats and feeding intel/data.
With that said, all this is speculation and I could be completely wrong and Russia may be of an utterly changed/different mindset and would absolutely not allow any such enclaves. It’s really hard to judge because Putin and Russian top brass seem to have flipped a switch and gone into a completely different mindset than we’re used to seeing them. I’ve never seen Russia so aggressive and bold before in recent memory.
Thanks for your updates. I think allowing an enclave in Lviv would be contrary to the stated goal of “de-Nazification” of Ukraine. I expect it to be touched eventually, once Kiev falls, gains are consolidated and all the nazis are holed up there.
I should hope so. Surely, although Putin seems to have forgetten some Syria lessons, the danger is filling that area with terrorists. The West would like nothing better than to keep this war going. Important to get rid of them all. Period.
It seems to me that if Russia is allowing air traffic into Lvov that this would be the route the West will use to send in those Stinger missiles. If I were Russia, I’d eliminate that option. Force them to use trucks across the border with Poland – then put surveillance on the border to detect and destroy them on entry or as they are delivered to warehouses.
Richard Steven Hack.
Do you really think that they are using actual military transport planes to deliver their loads?
Perhaps disguised as civilian aircraft?
The photos of Brit stingers arriving a few weeks ago could have easily been from a luggage bay in a passenger aircraft.
This is a no brainer.
Sure, they could. In fact, a guy I follow on Youtube in the “prepper” community got a letter from a pilot who works for a company that contracts with the State Department who flies those shipments to Ukraine. He’s using a commercial aircraft, not a military one. This is one reason why I think Russian intelligence needs to be all over this. Get the shipments under surveillance from the moment they leave the arsenals to the transport to the final destination over the border.
Thinking about this some more, I realize that Poland obviously isn’t the only border with Russia that NATO could use. This is also why Russian intelligence needs to track these shipments and have a rapid reaction force to interdict them.
The only other possibility is to use battlefield intelligence to identify the Ukrainian storage facilities receiving the goods and interdict them there inside Ukraine. But that’s cutting it close.
Of course, Russia could just ignore it and assume that the destruction of the Ukraine military won’t leave many units around to use those weapons. But that risks increasing Russian casualties for no good reason, in my opinion. I say spare some Russian assets and interdict this stuff as much as possible. You might not get it all, but every little bit helps spare some Russian lives.
Thanks Nightvision.
Yes there is coordinated media, sports & culture smear campaign. This is pretty much all they have as their military and financial options are not viable.
I follow tennis news and all ATP and ITF events in Russia have been cancelled.
Ukrainian tennis players all posting messages about Ukraine, very pro Western. I was surprised..even Ilya Marchenko whose residence is in DPR…
BTW Kafelnikov is another one. He is Russian but very pro Western..and posts anti Putin stuff.
Yes I follow some sports as well, many top stars standing with Ukraine. F1 cancelled, Soccer cancelled, many other top events cancelled in Russia.
If you follow MMA/UFC, the strangest and most shocking thing I’ve seen, is global rising star Khamzat Chimaev allegedly posted pro Ukie message claiming he’s ready to go to war against Russia in Ukraine then allegedly deleted the message. On one hand he has emigrated to Sweden where he’s now a citizen, but he was born in Chechnya/Dagestan so it is shocking to hear he’d fight against his own brothers who are now fighting on Russian side. I haven’t confirmed if this particular report is fake or not though. Khabib Nurmagomedov (who has had tension with Chimaev) on the other hand seems to support Russia and has met with Putin several times in the past.
The truth is there are TONS of pro athletes, influencers, celebrities etc who all support Russia but the massive media psyop has turned so powerful that they now fear for being “cancelled” and having their reputation destroyed for publicly standing with Russia so they simply do not post their support online. In U.S. there’s already a coordinated campaign to destroy/smear/”cancel” many top online personalities and news agencies for not standing with Ukraine, the most notable being Tucker Carlsen who is now being called “treasonous” and conspiring with the enemy for supporting Russia/Putin.
It’s gotten so bad that actual U.S. congressmen are now calling for the mass deportation of all Russian students from U.S. university system https://townhall.com/tipsheet/landonmion/2022/02/25/eric-swalwell-says-kicking-every-russian-student-out-of-the-us-should-be-on-the-t-n2603821
At this rate all Russians in U.S. may soon face internment camps a la Japanese in WW2.

– What are you smoking?
You know that the air defense systems of Ukraine were suppressed from the first minutes, and the infrastructure of the air bases was put out of action.
Ukraine has no air force! Before the special operation of the Russian Defense Ministry, the ex-Ukrainian Air Force claimed the 1st place in the ranking of the 10 worst air forces in the world. four rare Okraine EMERCOM aircraft, two An-26s and two An-32s fly there.
We know for a fact what you just said is not true. There is documented Ukrainian air defense still left in many parts of the country. Just earlier today the apartment High rise in Kiev was hit by a Ukrainian Buk and there are videos of other Ukrainian mobile systems moving around the country, not to mention the many MANPADS they now have or will soon have (if you count that as air defense).
Secondly there are Ukrainian registered cargo planes tracked on flight tracker going from Lyvov to Poland in back once again disproving your theory, not to mention that only a couple hours ago another new An26 of Ukraine origin was shot down, proving Ukraine still maintains airforce presence. There’s also recent video of small airstrip south of Kiev called Vasylkiv that had an Su27 still sitting on runway amidst Ukraine troops (but this particular video could admittedly be old/fake, not confirmed).
Oh and by the way the Russian MOD by way of Konashenkov issued the statement that UKRAINIAN BUK system hit the apartment in Kiev while trying to intercept a rocket. So the actual Russian MOD has admitted just hours ago that Ukraine still possesses anti-air capabilities, thus refuting your statements.
In my opinion, Russia needs to start shooting down those cargo planes. Why the hell allow Ukraine to import more arms? Everyone has to know that’s what they’re doing.
Don’t try to analyze, synrk, it’s not for you… Otherwise, you’ll sweat, catch a cold and get sick. )))
1. The number of aircraft, before the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces
The Ukrainians had less than 20 Mi-24 helicopters, of which only half were in more or less combat-ready condition.
And Russia has 120 pieces. Mi-28N/UB/NM, 140 pcs. Ka-52, 27 pcs. Ka-29, 64 pcs. Mi-35M, 118 pcs. Mi-24, 280 units Mi-8AMTSh – more than 750 units in total. attack helicopters, of which more than 90% are in excellent combat readiness.
2. Naval aviation of the Navy of the Russian Federation is another +190 pcs. fighters/bombers, +50 transport aircraft and +200 helicopters.
3. In Russia, most of the aircraft and helicopters were built after 2011. And on the Ukraine – all Soviet-built.
In addition, there are dozens of serious aircraft repair plants in Russia, plus radio-electronic and engine-building plants that produce a complete range of all spare parts for the repair and modernization of the existing fleet of aircraft. And in the Ukraine, in order to repair an airplane or helicopter, you often have to engage in cannibalism, since the necessary parts are simply not produced. Ukrainians also do not have money for regular repairs; in general, equipment is monitored much worse than in Russia.
Therefore, in the Russian Aerospace Forces, more than 85-90% of all equipment is in flight combat readiness, and for Ukrainians – at most 30-40%. The residual resource of our aircraft and helicopters is also much higher than that of Ukrainians.
4. Technical characteristics and dimensions of equipment, year of manufacture.
The latest Russian Su-35S, Su-30SM2, Su-57 are two generations superior to the old Khokhlyat Su-27 and MiG-29; the new Russian Su-34NVO are two generations superior to the S-24, the new Russian Mi-28NM and Ka-52M are two generations superior to the old Khokhlyat Mi-24 etc.
The Ukrainian Air Force had only 5 Il-76s left. The rest of the transport aircraft were An-26s.
And Russia has 180 pieces. heavy transporters (110 Il-76, +40 in storage and 16 An-124 +10 in storage).
Ukrainians have no analogues of heavy bombers like the Tu-22M3M or Tu-160M2.
5. The level of training of pilots, their annual raid and the availability of combat experience.
Khokhols stopped using aviation in the conflict in the Donbass back in August 2014 due to too high losses (“The North Wind” blew Shells, Torahs, MANPADS and other useful equipment to the militias). There were no more sources of real combat experience for the flyers.
And in Russia, from 2015 to the present, there has been a constant real use of military aviation in Syria, almost all of our pilots have gained invaluable combat experience there.
The average flight time of pilots in the Ukrainian Air Force does not exceed 40 hours per year, while the most experienced pilots quit en masse:
The average flight time of a pilot in the combat units of the Russian Aerospace Forces is more than 120 hours per year (excluding business trips to Syria and …), for young pilots – 200 hours.
6. Armament of aircraft and helicopters.
Ukrainians do not have long-range air-to-air missiles of the R-33S, R-37, Izd. air-to-ground and guided bombs like Shturm-SM, Vikhr-M, Ataka-D, Izd.305E, Germes, Kh-58UShKE, Kh-38M, Kh-59MK2, Kh-31PD, Kh-35U, Kh-31AD, Kh -32, Kh-47M2, Kh-555, Kh-101, Grom-2, KAB-250-LG, KAB-K08B, KAB-1500LG, KAB-500KR, KAB-500S, etc.
7. Satellite reconnaissance and target designation, electronic warfare equipment, protection and air defense of airfields, radars, etc.
Ukrainians have no military satellites, no long-range radars like Nebo-M, Zaslon-M, H036, H036, no AWACS like A-50U, no modern air defense systems like S-400, S-500, S-300V4, S-350, Pantsir-S, Tor-M2U, Buk-M3, etc., there are no electronic warfare systems like Khibiny, Rychag, Vitebsk.
In general, the current state of the Ukrainian Air Force was best described by the Americans on April 29, 2020, who had to get smeared in this shit: https://www.wearethemighty.com/mighty-trending/10-worst-air-forces-2018/
In the United States, the Ukrainian Air Force was called one of the worst in the world
01/08/2019
“Ukrainian Air Force planes are falling without enemy assistance, as seen in the 2018 Su-27 fighter jet crash in western Ukraine that killed Lieutenant Colonel Seth Jethro Nehring of the California National Guard. The flanker fell while the pilot was acquainting the American with the aircraft’s capabilities. These accidents are either the result of poor maintenance or poor pilot training, or both.
To top it off, the Ukrainian Air Force is very old. They mainly consist of cars left over from the collapse of the Soviet Union.”
In the annotation to the rating itself, the authors indicate that they do not see it as their goal to create a derogatory attitude towards the air forces of different countries of the world.
In December last year, it became known that the Su-27 of the Ukrainian Air Force, which crashed in the Zhytomyr region, was one of the newest vehicles in the Ukrainian Air Force. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The department noted that the Su-27 fighter with tail number 55, which crashed in the Zhytomyr region, was produced in 1987. This fighter was one of the newest aircraft in the Ukrainian Air Force. For the entire period of operation, the fighter spent 479 hours in the sky and made 824 landings. In 2016, the car underwent the last unscheduled repair.
Son, do not undertake to analyze, this is not yours … Otherwise, you will sweat, catch a cold and get sick.

In the United States, the Ukrainian Air Force was called one of the worst in the world
01/08/2019
The Ukrainian Air Force ranked sixth in the list of the 10 worst air forces in the world in 2018, according to an analysis made by the American military publication We Are The Mighty.
Thanks for sharing :)
Thx for your insightful updates.
“Let’s hope that this crazy nonsense stops and that some Ukrainian commanders will restore law and order before their entire country turns into a “Mad Max Zone”.
This is fundamental for the aftermath. Russia will not be safer with a neighbor divided in pieces similarly to Libia, full of anarchist armed gangs, in which US can still infiltrate to play any trick. I hope vividly that they already contacted such commander who for now plays dumb hiding his real purposes. But does Ukraine offer such person?
I think that eventually Russia will take control of Odessa so that what’s left of Ukraine doesn’t have access to the sea.
I think if Zelensky had any honor, he would put on a white robe and commit ritual suicide by disembowelment (Hari Kari).
I noticed a trend. The advances seem like they go as planned. Then by the time America wakes up, the news looks like Russia has tons of losses with commenters saying Russia is losing. That is the info war on top of the sanctions and the effort to make Russia look like it stands alone and everyone is with these dirtbags. Findland is about to join NATO, it was also defacto NATO, but now it will not hide behind any position of neutrality. This is exactly what Russia was talking about. West is being stupid and doubling down on their own mistakes.
News feeds have devolved into both sides sharing pictures of the dead. Disgusting. Ukrainians tape eyes shut and abuse theirs. Russia is still following the humane approach of food, medical, phone call, and signed document promising not to fight and accepting Russia’s position. Andrey is correct that the info war is kicking into high gear. They are trying to demoralize. Most of their videos are own goals though.
Saker, you forgot Lvov, is also under attack from Russian paratroopers i read.
An attack on Lvov is significant not least because it is the site of Nato Hq.

Ukies refuse to provide humanitarian corridors for civilians in Mariupol.
I hope every single one of these Nazi scum will be haunted down like rats.
I wonder who killed these “nationals” hmmmm?

Qui bono? Ukrs, they wage information war all over the place: sports, international atomic energy agency, etc. you name it.
Any word yet on finding nukes stored at Chernobyl? In addition to immediately securing Chernobyl, which was a necessary move, it has been said that nukes have been stored there so that they couldn’t be traced due to the surrounding radiation levels.
Another small but important update: a chorus of countries now banning Russian flights across their territory. Here’s the newest announcement:
https://twitter.com/IngridaSimonyte/status/1497633099064045568
Here’s a map of the countries which have purportedly so far announced closure of their airspace: https://twitter.com/nexta_tv/status/1497647124363755527 and I’m sure more will be added soon, no doubt.
Route Russia would have to now take to get to Kaliningrad: https://twitter.com/typowskizastep/status/1497649469655072770/photo/1
Couple this with the news that France has reportedly seized a Russian merchant ship carrying cars due to “sanction violation”, all of this amounts to a growing blockade of Russia. (which as far as I’m concerned is an act of war)
I’ll let Saker hypothesize what all this means but certainly it is a grim development.
Finland soon will be voiting if it joins NATO. This is escalating really quickly.
Indeed. WW3 prospects getting closer
This is one of the few sites where I can actually determine what the hell is happening in Ukraine right now. The local and national news is a sickening joke of anti-Russia propaganda and what’s worse, the wife is eating it right up! Constant yelling at the TV all day about the horrors of the “invasion” goddamn it! Thankfully I am NOT on any social media however there are links to twitter video and commentary that I click on every once in a while.
I am a little upset about the anti war protesting in Russian cities and what I have seen from regular people on the streets in Kyiv and elsewhere. Where the FUQUE were these dummies when LPR and DPR were being constantly shelled by Nazi forces under orders from US and the comedian??
The “anti war protests” are minimal and by and large orchestrated.
Hi and thanks for the update, very appreciated.
So the reports about fire fights at the zoo last night/evening in kiev was between themselves so to say? If that is the case then I would start laughting if it wasn´t so sad.
i believe it is better for russia to close all embassies in usa and eu and nato countries and countries imposing sanctions. save your diplomats and advice russians to come home.
Second i believe it is better to nullify the sanctions games and take foreign assets in russia, ban trade and media.
and it is high time to counter the cyber warfare with a counter cyber attack by destroying certain cables on the bottom of the sea.
the problem is, when you take such steps you turn your country into the new North Korea. A global pariah completely shut off from the world and completely underdeveloped. And if you say “well but Russia will still have China”, well North Korea has China helping it too, and look at NK’s situation. I don’t think Putin wants to condemn Russian citizens to that sort of completely closed off pariah state status
Well, that ship sailed. The west is making everything to isolate and destroy Russia right now.
Could be. But remember, Russia / Putin 100% anticipated every single one of these actions. Can one really think that Putin did not anticipate that a massive invasion of Ukraine would spark such hysteria and “extremes” of response? Of course anyone with even half a brain would know this. After all, NATO / U.S. was already threatening 90% of these same responses long ago when Russia did not even do anything yet. (i.e. all the sanctions, the SWIFT cut off, the NS2 cancellation, the weapons/stingers to Ukraine which was already long planned and underway anyway…….) So of course this comes as absolutely no surprise or news to Russian planners whatsoever.
The only question that remains is how effective will be the Russian planning and countermeasures/strategies which were put in place to deal with the current situation………
It is too late, Nightvision. Russia needs to (finally) understand that the United States & deep state are 100% committed to Russia’s destruction.
Russia does understand this. But there’s only so much it can do. The U.S. has a comfy position where it exists 9000 miles away but uses meat-puppets on a string (europe) to attack Russia. If Russia wages war on Europe, it’s only Europe and Russia that lose (this is what happened in WW1 and WW2 which is HOW the U.S. became a super power to begin with. All Europe/Russia had economies destroyed while U.S. moved to #1 position).
So there is NO solution other than nuking/destroying U.S. and of course Russia is not going to do that as a first strike, so unless you have some magical idea, there is not much to be done other than endure.
Nightvision, I would suggest Russia de-dollarize and stop selling resources (esp oil) to the United States or United States puppets. Let U.S. citizens feel the pain of rip-roaring inflation and let them change the United States internally. Russia should be single minded about that. Why continue to deliver gas to European nations? Turn to Asia. Let Europe die. How many times do European nations have to attack Russia (or try to screw her) before Russians learn to walk away.
Hopefully something along these lines happens soon.
Depressingly, even Tucker Carlson seems to have been coerced by higher-ups to castigate Biden for being insufficiently resolute in countering Putin:
https://www.bizpacreview.com/2022/02/26/carlson-russias-invasion-of-ukraine-a-humiliating-defeat-for-biden-1205922/
His narrative is not that the U.S. should never have been involved in Ukraine to begin with, but that Biden should have *backed up* his anti-Putin stance.
This should concern everyone.
Neo-nazi forces holding Mariupol have gone full SS there, shooting families trying to evacuate the city. They are doing the old Hitler “hold the city to the end”,which caused so many German civilian casualties in the last months of WWII.
https://southfront.org/mariupol-trap-ukrainian-nazis-kill-civilians-as-russians-approach-videos-18/
Uncle Bob.
This is Uncle Bob who talked about the MOUT situation. Thank you fore the Videos of Mariupol. People getting pulled out of cars to be shot….people not being allowed to leave?
Why….because the Azov boys want to go out gloriously and take all that they can with them. Persons trying to leave are traitors to to the motherland and to be hung from lamp posts. Human shields are great ideas…..you get the picture. You have all seen this before.
What the hell is happening on this video?
Barofsky in the comment on Moon of Alabama gives a summary:
I saw the same @aleksandrov_76

“Azov neo-Nazis shoot civilians right on the highway near Mariupol. Now Mariupol is practically surrounded, the Ukrainian military leadership gave an order not to let anyone out of Mariupol.”
On the tweet below is a video.(which will probably get removed soon)
The author of the video did not know about this and wanted to leave Mariupol, but ran into a cordon of Azov fighters.
https://twitter.com/aleksandrov_76/status/1497648814232121354?s=20&t=Uxmadp4vZivbJDp82aN5DQ
Here’s videos posted from Azov Battalion saying they are ready for everything. https://twitter.com/ASBMilitary/status/1497543122921967618
I’ve heard other reports that Azov battalion has sent special threat/message to Chechen troops saying they are waiting for them in Mariupol and will “behead them”.
The Azov folks are the cream of the crop in radical Nazi fanaticists of Ukrop armed forces.
I’ve seen video of some Azov Nazi threatening Chechens they would play football with their cut-off heads if they come.
I’ve also seen a picture of some rabid Nazi from Dniepr battalion, ultra mega Ukraine hero in Donbas back in 2014, taken yesterday with his family in the car heading for the Poland.
So all those “heroes” are very brave against women and children but faced with tough opponent usually reveal their true character.
And Chechens are not forgetting such a threats. If I was the guy on the video, if he survives, I would have to look behind my back for a very long time, if not as long as I live.
Yep…you’re right about that. And I saw the same threats about cutting off heads etc…I put my money on Chechens over drug addicted Nazi’s.
Is there any information about Russian movements in the west towards Lvov? Russia will need to secure the entire border of Ukraine as soon as possible to prevent the delivery of weapons by Germany and NATO.
I personally fear that a Russia and the U.S. have agreed on a demarcation between Russian- and U.S.-controlled “zones” or “spheres of influence” à la Syria, with NATO absorbing western Ukraine (Galicia) and Russia taking the eastern two-thirds, including Donbas’ and at least part of Kiev. This would allow the West to continue channeling arms, munitions, and finances to armed terrorist/paramilitary formations operating on Galician soil, thereby encouraging attacks on Russian forces and a post-Zelensky government. Basically, the situation would be Afghanistan/Syria 2.0.
the fact that as of yesterday flight trackers showed Ukrainian registered cargo planes (4 of them) going in and out of Poland at Lyvov makes this seem possible. But as I listed in my long writeup above, there ARE a couple other more probable/reasonable explanations FOR NOW…
Somehow I don’t think the Russians are concerned about any NATO weapons reaching Ukraine, or about any NATO forces reaching Ukraine.
Hello Mike.
I have not seen anything here or anywhere else about Lvov but, I would not worry about it. Russian President Putin warned all of them not to interfere or they would get it and he also said all of the decisions have been made, they are ready for anything coming their way. If Russia is already telling the US/NATO to get the missile batteries out of Poland and Romania, then the RF is more than ready to push any size pile of horse manure right over the border of Ukraine in bulldozer fashion.
My experience watching Russia in action is that they are painfully methodical to watch but, when they move nobody is ready for it. The West lost the momentum the moment Russia entered Ukraine and the talk of side/secret deals is all part of the psyops we all see all of the time. They always say what they are going to do, after the train leaves the station. This is exactly the same kind of talk that went around town with regard to Syria in 2015, after Russia tore the wheels off the entire US operation.
Russia will get to Lvov when they are ready and nobody will like what happens and nobody is going to do squat about it. My take Mike. Fare thee well.
I see that steroidal wuss Sean Penn is in Ukraine making a propaganda film as we speak, horror of war, all that. Where was he when the US was piling weapons into the country? Creepy guy on so many levels.
Is there any idea yet of the number of Russian troops deployed given all the western talk of troop build ups previously?
probably somewhere in 25,000 – 40,000 so far by some estimates, but more are being mobilized and sent in soon (there is much more mobilized and ready, but not yet activated into Ukraine).
RT calls out the World Economic Forum:
Why does this influential, unelected globalist entity really exist?
https://www.rt.com/news/550523-wef-davos-agenda-covid-schwab/
(…) Current Canadian finance minister and deputy prime minister, Chrystia Freeland, is on the WEF’s board of trustees, alongside former Bank of Canada and Bank of England governor, Mark Carney. Freeland was last seen announcing asset freezes and crackdown measures against truckers and supporters in the streets of Canada demanding an end to heavy handed Covid mandates and restrictions. And Carney recently qualified the Freedom Convoy as “sedition” in a hysterical opinion piece published in the Globe and Mail newspaper.”(…)
Maybe someone was listening to my suggestion that this topic be expanded upon. lol. Thanks.
My general argument to Americans who are being pummeled by propaganda even by otherwise reliable conservative pundits, is that Putin is fighting the same deep state they are, with the Trucker movement against mandates driving digital ID schemes. It’s the same people who came out of the woodwork at Trump with the Russia hoax and two impeachments. Not to mention Biden and son, and many other energy pirates.
Brother Mayhem…You ask “Why does this influential, unelected globalist entity really exist?”
nazism was not defeated, was never isolated. the public secret is that it was trans national and aspired to ubernational…and it was not defeated, only paused by the Red Army and the USSR, and Mao,and in some respect probably FDR (but he had lots of disloyal people who fought against policy) naturally. Let’s recall MacKinder’s ghost…The Two Classical Empires of Earth Island are linked..his nightmare! nazism is the counterpoised sea people, pirates, more or less…it’s an existential conflict..Recently Russian official said “for us nazism was the west” .get yer bets down.
Here is some interesting background on Schwab and his family and the family engineering firm (a Nazi model company) in Ravensburg, south Germany, on the Swiss border:
https://www.fbcoverup.com/docs/library/2021-03-11-Klaus-Martin-Schwab-Biography-and-Timeline-Anonymous-Patriots-compiled-Mar-11-2021.pdf#page=6
Schwab’s father must also have known that the T4 eugenics program was launched in his city:
https://second.wiki/wiki/denkmal_der_grauen_busse
Klaus Schwab’s chidhood was surely imbued with ideas of superhumans and subhumans.
How he has gotten this far without a swastika being pinned to him wherever he goes is a miracle.
It is also beyond sickening that his protege, Trudeau, gets away with labeling the protesting truckers as “standing with the swastika.”
It is Trudeau who is “standing with the swastika,” who actually was raised to power by the swastika. Schwab openly boasted of this to David Gergen at the Harvard Business School in 2017. On video. That he had placed his young global leaders as heads of state and also in cabinet posts and below. I’m looking for the exact video. It has been shown by Martin Armstrong and elsewhere. Sorry, right now I can’t find it.
Again, i don’t know why the MPs who called Trudeau out on his outrageous comment didn’t point this out, that it is Trudeau who is associated with and acting like a Nazi, and call out Schwab directly as an obvious cryptonazi.
I’m not sure about the credibility of this.
“In the night of 25 to 26 February 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed a ceasefire proposal to Russia via the Chinese Embassy in Kiev.
The Kremlin immediately informed him of its terms:
arrest of all Nazis (special military adviser Dmitro Yarosh, Azov Battalion, etc.),
removal of all street names and monuments glorifying Nazi collaborators during World War II (Stepan Bandera, etc.),
surrender of weapons.”

Andrei et al,
This link relates tangentially to Jerry’s concern below about labs. Jon Rappoport has posted about numerous large caches of agricultural chems and pesticides. This looks to be a major pollution concern if the sites get destroyed through shelling, etc.

Saker,
we have just been informed that Scholz have suddenly decided to send faustpatrons and stingers to Ukraine, which will fall into the hands of Nazi battalions. About 100 US instructors are now arriving in Ukraine to coordinate their actions. This means that dozens of Russian tankers and pilots may die, and then a big operation cannot be avoided. A meat grinder will begin, in which Ukrainians and Russians will become victims under the watchful eye of American instructors. How do you think will Russian generals react to this heavy influx of modern AT/AA weaponry (many other NATO countries are going to supply Ukraine with these) ? Will it fundamentally change the course of this operation and is it able to change it into protracted and bloody struggle in which Russian force might be seriously bogged down ?
Norway just decided to do the same…
No need to Marcus Aurelius! The fact that the United States stole 600 million for an imaginary delivery does not mean that it was delivered to the addressee. Today it is impossible by air and sea, and tomorrow it will be impossible by land.
What 100 instructors of the US Armed Forces to Ukraine, you fucked up? If they fly to NATO, to Germany according to a planned rotation.
Do not carry nonsense, do not zaispaite forum. And so from people like you you will not find a word of reason here!
Some propagondons, self-promoters, trolls, bots and flooders ..
Thanks for the Saker for the update. Allthough I think Putin is righteous in his pursuit of peace in the Ukraine via disarming it, I cannot but to worry on the denazification part of the plan. Is it too late because of the past 8 years of continous nationalistic propaganda that the new regime has poured in? And where does the process of nazification end, in Kiev or perhaps in Lvov? And what about the rest of Europe? There are similar nationalistic sentiments existing on all the eastern block countries.. Because of Russian operation in the Ukraine my home country Finland is probably upping the ante on joining Nato I’m afraid. And in the process it might be reestablishing the lost disgusting right wing nationalistic tendencies of 1920’s and 1930’s..
@ Saker
“…Let’s hope that this crazy nonsense stops and that some Ukrainian commanders will restore law and order before their entire country turns into a “Mad Max Zone”…”
Glad you clarified “before their entire country” because Ukraine has been a “Mad Max Zone” for quite a while, no doubt. Putin was not exaggerating when he said the country is in the hands of “a gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis,” and asked the military to take over.
Neo-Nazis have a large, international network, and one of the ways they fund their activities, and their leaders enrich themselves, is by using their power in criminal actions, racketeering, sex trafficking (one of Ukraine’s “industries”), drug trafficking, all kinds of money-making crimes.
The (alleged) distribution of weapons to whoever is willing to take them, is like Christmas in February for the neo-Nazis, and all criminal gangs in Ukraine, which soon after started shooting at each other in what is typical among gangsters: territorial disputes for drug markets. Fortunately, none of these actors will be willing to fight the Russians, they will put away their weapons, wait until things calm down, to continue their ‘hood wars a la “Mad Max.”
On the surrounded cities.
Best way to go, keep them surrounded, neutralize their sources of enemy fire, tighten up the encirclement, create corridors for civilians willing to leave, and for Ukrainian soldiers willing to surrender, ample use of UAV for both observation and destruction of enemy fire sources (someone mentioned robo-soldiers used already in Syria), friendly and compassionate treatment of civilian population and surrendered soldiers, negotiation with city authorities, where possible and allowed. Then, hurry up and wait.
Mariupol
What is happening in Mariupol might happen in some other cities considered crucial by the criminal bastard neo-Nazis, hosting the civilian population hostage, kill those who try to get out, compromise the safety and security of the civilian population. I hope Spetnaz leaves not one of those bastards son of the devil alive.
Lone Wolf
Will the Azov nazis fight to the last man like their idols the S.S. in the Battle of Berlin? Or will they be staying up late in the Isreali Consulate making passports for these rats running away?
Operation Paperclip 2.0 I’m sure will be instituted by U.S. saviors to repopulate the Nazi’s elsewhere where they can be useful (like in Canadian/U.S. Freedom Truck convoy protests)
Liam.
No.
The Irish government is doing the work of Empire having lifted visa restrictions on Ukranians. This means that the nazi cowards will decamp here and accelerate the decline to a new and dangerous level, especially when they begin to collaborate with the local mafia. That,I might have write an essay on though.
When a prediction proves erroneous, a decent respect for your colleagues requires at least an explanation.

SOMETHING HAPPENED
My muse knocked at dawn. Exhausted after catching the redeye from Moscow and then diverted over Finland. He insisted on a full breakfast before whispering in my ear. A week pulling up the grass roots from the permafrost in Gorky Park while subsisting on borscht and boiled cabbage had drained him.. Reanimated, the Truth began to flow – in short, staccato sentences with none of the usual refinements and subtle similes.
Context and background are everything in understanding the Russian attack. Look at the process of decision as dynamic over time rather than sharply focused in the immediate.
Putin is not a dictator. He cannot simply choose a course of action and give commands a la Stalin. Never has been. He has great authority; yet, at the same time, he represents the underlying convictions, thoughts and interests of powerful people in and around the government. Most of them were seated in that semicircle at St. Catherine’s Hall for the televised meeting of the Russian Security Council.
They, along with most all of Russia’s political cum economic class, have felt deeply humiliated by what they see as the shabby, patronizing treatment they have received from the West – led by a crass America – since 1991. The insults in word and action have hit them nonstop since 2014, reaching a crescendo from March 2021 onward. They have known full well that the aim is to denature Russia as a political cum diplomatic power in Europe – and beyond. The West want it neutralized and marginalized so that the U.S. can remain master of Europe as it prepares for a titanic struggle with China for global supremacy. Unfettered access to Russia’s wealth of natural resources is a bonus.
Concrete security concern have sharpened progressively as Washington has broken a series of major arms control agreements, expanded NATO, connived to replace friendly governments with American proxies via the notorious “color revolutions,” sought to undercut energy ties with European states, and deployed advanced weapons systems (above all, the anti-missile systems in Poland and Rumania able to be converted into offensive missile launchers), and via its ‘rules-based international order’ sloganeering and democracy vs autocracy campaign make explicit its intention to do everything possible to rig the game of world politics in its favor.
Ukraine, they believe, became the occasion (not the cause) to pin down a Russia whose growing strength discomforted and annoyed the Americans. It represented a conscious decision of the Biden administration under the sway of reborn Cold Warriors in State, the NSC, the CIA and the Pentagon. The triumph of their will in a government bereft of contrary voices and led by a weak, manipulable President was a sure thing. The Ukraine anti-Russia operation began in March with the Washington encouraged build-up of Ukrainian military forces along the Donbass Line, delivery of large quantities of arms including Javelin anti-armor weapons, renewed talk of heavy economic sanctions, and a chorus of shrill rhetoric from all quarters in Washington and Brussels.
The American objective of putting Russia back in its subordinate place was taken as an obvious given by the Kremlin. Uncertainty existed on the question of what initiatives on the ground to expect: a major assault on the Donbass or provocative acts to force a Russian reaction that could be used as a pretext for imposing sanctions (above all, the cancelling of NORDSTROM II).
It is likely that senior policymakers in Washington themselves had not made a definitive judgment on the issue. Divisions among individual players and a wavering President could very well left have important matters unresolved within a soft, cloudy consensus. There was visible evidence of this in the repeated juxtaposition, and alternation, of bellicose rhetoric and Biden’s mollifying words in public and the “let’s not go to war” telephone conversations he initiated to Putin and reaffirmed at their Geneva Summit.
In Moscow, too, there likely were differences of opinion – or, more accurately, of emphasis. They surely led to some divergences over what actions Russia should take. It is essential to bear in mind that Putin himself seems to have been closer to the dovish end of the continuum among Security Council members on the overarching issue of how to deal with the U.S., with the West, and particularly Ukraine. One could imagine a gradual hardening of thinking among all individuals as tensions mounted and frustrations grew in the Kremlin. A Putin, who might have been trying to fashion an approach that reconciled his own wariness about military confrontation with genuine worry about the threats to Russian security presented by Washington’s hardline, might have found himself in a quandary. I suspect that American official have very little understanding of this reality or appreciate its implications.
That could explain the promulgation of that strange position paper/demarche wherein he laid out in detail a list of demands for a drastic revision of Europe’s security configuration punctuated by an emphasis on time urgency. That is to say, a Hail Mary to stay the hand of a growing consensus that the time had come for Russia to hit back at the West in the Ukraine. Two things perhaps tipped Putin’s thinking into accepting the necessity of doing what he did. One was the West’s unbending and unaccommodating response. The other, was the Ukrainians’ launching an unprecedented artillery and mortar barrage against the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces. Who forced that fateful step? Elements of the Ukraine Army and/or security services? The AZOV brigade and associated parties? Zelensky? With how much encouragement from the CIA and/or the White House?

India’s answer to possible financial sanctions:
https://www.reuters.com/world/india/india-explores-setting-up-rupee-trade-accounts-with-russia-soften-sanctions-blow-2022-02-25/
India is looking to set up rupee trade system with Russia to bypass financial sanctions. India is concerned about their imports of fertiliser (for their agricultural sector).
India, China, Russia, .. “have been worried for a long time – they all tested their international financial systems (double-circuit, one currency for the domestic market, the other for the external one). The only question is the integration of non-dollar systems.
And since this requires a good kick, we are waiting for sanctions to disconnect from SWFT. But the USA is not a kamikaze.)))
And mil weapon systems. S-400 and billions worth of other things, and joint production setup for many weapons.
In other news: Czech Republic is clamping down on social media. The State Prosecutor’s office has issued a “warning” that it considers “approving of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine” a crime. A spokesman for the State Prosecutor’s Office Igor Stříž threatens to indict people supporting RFs military action on social media under a paragraph of the Criminal Code that prohibits “justifying, supporting, or denying facts of, a genocide”, which is how the Office views Russia’s conduct of war in Ukraine. (My own account at iDnes has been suspended today for 1 year without explanation, evidently because of my contributions to discussion threads. I went over the threads and noted the absence of all the well-known “pro-Russia” sh*t disturbers. All purged! ) The first casualty of war is Truth, they say.

New, large Ukrainian armor column purportedly annihilated by Russian troops on Nikolayev which is past Kherson. So Russians are presumably enveloping Kherson where there has been fierce fighting.
https://twitter.com/i/status/1497677995938615297
Kherson was liberated completely yesterday by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. During the retreat, the 55th artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot, the heros of the Ukrainian army abandoned their equipment and weapons and fled.
I saw that, but then Ukraine claimed they have retaken Kherson earlier today. Of course that could be complete lie.
No confirmation on that so far. I only saw a video of one Russian soldier standing next to the Ural truck with Z marks, who was verbaly assualted by a bunch of civilians, Ukies. And one picture of destroyed T-72B3 from unknown location. Southfront was the source of that. And no further confirmation.
Then there were some new videos from two destroyed Ukr columns of trucks from Kherson and that’s it.
If the RF doesn’t quickly subdue and neuter Galicia, then to me this would present a huge problem in protecting Russian borders in the future.
If Ukraine’s western region is reconstituted as a political entity for the remaining Ukrainian government, then it would almost certainly be granted sovereignty and recognized by the usual Washington sycophants, which would then be immediately accepted into NATO. The plot would thicken considerably. I’m sure that Putin’s military war plans staff have some ideas about what to do to prevent this from happening, but it would still be a festering abscess far too close to Russia’s borders.
Yesterday, NATO announced the mobilization of their 40,000-man rapid response forces and my guess is that Galicia, and Lviv in particular, is the ultimate destination after staging in Poland, for example. Making a stronghold out of Galicia with these troops, centered on Lviv, would provide a conduit for the continued supply of weaponry to Ukranian forces, be they regular or irregular.
Galicia’s geographical proximity, with NATO countries on the western border, would also allow NATO air power some air space near Russia along with close-in EW capabilities, a staging ground for medium-range ballistic missiles, and the positioning of heavy armour and other motorized ground forces.
Right analysis, but I suppose the trade off of Russia taking 90% of Ukraine but leaving Galicia to NATO is an equitable and OK compromise. Russian parliament official already stated today that Zelensky has been “confirmed” to have fled to Lyvov and the videos of him in Kiev were done ahead of time. The Duma member claimed he has a contact in Verkohvna Rada who went to see Zelensky and was told he fled to Lyvov and is not there at presidential HQ anymore. Impossible to know if this is true or not.
Will change nothing, expect nukes in Galicia then etc.. then in the Baltics if not already there?
Then Poland, Romania or even Bulgaria …as the US gets his hypersonic nothing will do except a total war now.
Nothing to lose, everything is lost anyway(swift).
They need a mega lesson. Otherwise they will double down, they are all neocons now including in the EU.
Don’t count of ‘fake pro russians’ like Orban, Serbian govt
Bomb EU NATO SHAPE Port of antwerp, rotterdam, hamburg etc…
As a first advert. before nukes.
The pre-requisite for Russia to strike on NATO targets would be the ability to sink “All” or almost all NATO strategic nuclear submarines. So degrading significantly the alliance nuclear strike capacity… This is unlikely … except if Russia had some unknown-secret submarine detection system this simply couldn’t happen.
For the other vectors (aircrafts, missiles) Russians have reasonable ability of detection and destruction, also enough nuclear shelters for the big cities.
Doesn’t quite make sense what you say because with that reasoning, it means even if Russia conquers all of Ukraine and completely cleans it out 100% U.S. can still put nukes in Romania, Bulgaria, etc etc…so what does it even matter? The argument doesn’t work as it would be irrelevant what Russia does with Galicia.
Send them all to western Ukraine like what happened in Syria when the takfiris were allowed to evacuate to Idlib?
While Zelensky is a nobody, he should still be on Russia’s list of war criminals, and thus should be pursued to Lvov and taken.
In my view, allowing the Nazis to take refuge in Lvov goes completely against the “de-nazification” part of this operation.
Now, one could argue that Russia could, after this main kinetic part of this is over, perhaps arrange for Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials be handed over from Lvov as part of a negotiation for other concessions from Ukraine. That’s assuming the West doesn’t merely transport all these characters to the West – which, as we know from history after WWII, the West likes to do with Nazis. Since that would allow Russia to say that the de-nazification has been completed, maybe Russia would go for that.
But in my view – and I expect Andrei Martyanov might agree, given he’s been predicting war crimes tribunals for all these turkeys – I think Russia needs to pursue, capture, try and execute all these clowns. If that means taking Galicia (temporarily) and Lvov, then I say, do it.
A principle of security – at least in my philosophy – is don’t leave any enemies capable of functioning behind you.
you’re right and keep in mind all speculation here is just speculation about Lyvov. Even when I stated there may be chance Russia was letting Lyvov activity slide, it’s completely unfounded and I could be completely wrong. For all I know, Russia may in fact storm Lyvov within days and capture everyone there. It just happens to be that Lyvov is the furthest place Ukies can run for now and is closest to an allied country for them where they can seek help so it’s a natural refuge…for now.
Very much agree. By the way, appreciate your posts, they’re very good.
Except USA does not have medium range missiles, only big ICBM or old slow cruise missiles. Even their MRLS system is old and short range compared to what Russia has. Same for artillery – it’s good to ok but relatively short range. So if US does not have it, no one in NATO does. Furthermore, NATO really lacks battlefield level anti aircraft systems except for the short range shoulder variety.
US counts on air superiority to set up the battlefield, and has for years – trouble is they will not have to this time, there aircraft will not be able to get into any Russian control airspace, they would not risk it. Then the issue becomes if they do move in forces, how would they protect them from Russian aircraft?
NATO used to have a plan for this – but if you listen to Scott Ritter and his analysis, you find out that NATO gave that up that capability over twenty years ago. We are short of armor, battlefield anti aircraft that can hit medium to high flying aircraft, have no decent medium to long range stand off weapons except those delivered by aircraft – and before anyone says stealth aircraft, I believe the s400 and s500 system got that covered (remember Russia have shot down a couple US F-117 using much older equipment)
Which is why the West are all screaming like banshees at the moment – they know that can’t really take on Russia directly now. So what if the West intends to make it like Vietnam or Afghanistan for Russia in Ukraine by funding & supplying insurgents? That scares the craps out of me, because then a possible outcome would be Russia going after the West by taking on Poland or Romania…..NATO might have no choice but to respond and then would have to either sue for peace – ending the Western farce, or result to Plan N (nukes) . Yes, US has a new generation of tactical nukes, but so does Russia and China, and they can deliver then hypersonically – NATO cannot at the moment. I add China here because If it’s gets to that level, China would step in – they would have to at that point, either. by a second front or by warming up their nukes. It could get ugly really quickly like it did in Cuba back in the day.
Everyone says Russia respond now because they had no choice, they were pushed into a corner – well fact is the West is also now being pushed into a corner, too. They are too weak to stop Russia, economic sanctions will do no good except hurt the West even more (those cars that France stopped being sent to the Baltic states – Russia didn’t make them. Also what is Russia slows or stops the gas, both the EU and USA…then what?). it is apparent now the West thought Russia was going to back down like the always did in the past – but this time is different. Lord help us all – Russia and. Nina will survive, some of the US and Canada will, too…..but if this goes on much longer either by design (Russia) or tit for tat (NATO) , the EU is really toast this time. Would not want to be on the continent at the moment.
Watch and lough https://t.me/boris_rozhin/23642
OMG. My ribs hurt from laughter………
Reminds me of Zelensky addressing the camera in English shown on France 24 a week or so ago where he had a background of a “military canteen on the frontline in Donbass”.Half the soldiers there were sort of paying attention and one guy was clearly asleep with his head slumped forward…….. commander in chief in one cheap take.
I guess they were all his actor buddies being paid to play a part except that the cheques are too slow in coming these days or maybe the ran out of cocaine.
I was puzzels why they showed it, maybe some idiot news editor thought it looked convincing, except it was pathetic.
The above clip is better by far.
Freedom to Transcarpathia!! I hope that the Russian army will liberate the oppressed Rusyns
I saw this article claiming that Hungary might be making a move on that area.
Might have plenty of nazis heading that way soon if true

Germany will now also supply weapons of all kinds in large quantities to Ukraine
It is heading straight for the 3rd world war. Once again Russians will die because of German weapons – it is really unbelievable, it is so perverse.
Until now I was of the opinion that the EU has understood that it must not intervene in the conflict, but I am surprised every day how insane the whole gang is.
Where are the protests of millions of Europeans
who do not want to live in a nuclear landscape?
I am now convinced that NATO will intervene militarily in Ukraine against all logic and warnings.
And Russia will have no choice but to use tactical nuclear weapons and then it is not far to the end game.
God help us
Russia must race against time to subdue Ukraine before massive weapons floods. But there already photos of the NATO cargo planes packed with Stingers so they are moving very fast to deliver this (via Poland).
But even if Russia can subdue them fast, then the NATO plan is to bleed Russia like new Afghanistan/Chechnya with guerilla insurgency and infamous stinger missile bloodbath.
Certainly Russia knew this would happen and planned for this though, so one can only assume it has been computed into the operational strategy and risk analysis. So let us hope for the best that Russian general staff is as smart as we hope they are.
Russian army is quickly destroying the most capable 10% of the Ukraine military.
The rest neither have motivation nor capacity to do anything meaningful with any weapon they would be provided with.
You can give a quantum computer to the monkey, and it will still be a monkey.
Then manpads are not effective against high-flying airplanes like Su-34.
Furthermore Russia has now complete air superiority over Ukraine which means any delivery attempt to Ukraine would come with huge risk of been destroyed. The borders are clogged with people trying to escape. Possible they are going to hire some mules from Afghanistan to move that over the border.
And in the end this war will be over very soon anyhow.
Yes, one more thing: Openly/in public arming Russian enemy is not very smart move. There could be very nasty surprises in other theaters of war where the same countries have their troops.
I agree with most what you’re saying but I think you underestimate Ukrainian resolve, don’t think it’s quite as weak as you imagine with 10% capability etc., especially not with BILLIONS $$$$ of Aid now pouring in daily in both liquid money, loans, etc, and massive weaponry rearmament. Also the global orchestrated propaganda campaign currently blazing like a forest fire is giving a big morale boost to Ukrainian troops.
All that stuff you said is fine, yes Russian military is 1000000 times superior to Ukraine but one slight problem: all of that is completely useless when it comes to city fighting / urban combat. Unless you don’t care about killing civilians, destroying buildings like in Chechnya 2 then that’s different story. But if you’re trying to preserve civilian life then………..all the air superiority etc etc in the world is not going to help you if Ukies go underground and use civilians as meat shields and dod door to door urban combat in Kiev and refuse to surrender.
You can see the Russian clean up actions as I write: Харкив, Суми, Херсон, Николаев, Киев … more to come.
In I believe Kharkiv Ukraine police is already assisting Russians military, in some smaller city in Zaporozhye region this morning they informed Russian military about no UA in the municipality, so Russian forces just went through further south-west. So, you seem to believe the MSM fairy tales about some heroic resistance in Kiev and other cities. Resistance in Kiev is already collapsing, and Russian forces are this morning finishing a mop-up operation in the previously encircled cities.
That was one thing.
The second thing is that Russia has no intention of occupying Ukraine, it will, for all intent and purposes, annihilate Ukraine military plus Nazis leaving local Ukraine police forces dealing with the rest.
Parts of Ukraine (Galicia) where there probably will be some kind of permanent instability will be either cut-off or dealt with by local population that will get tired of such a mess after some honeymoon period.
God will help everyone who is on his side, even if we die. He may even in case of a nuclear war arrange that justice prevails against all odds and only the perpetrator is punished.
This conflict is not just about power and spheres of influence, it is a spiritual war.
We see an Empire where we have good reason to believe that many members of the elite are not just Atheists, they might even be actively serving Satan, with the media empires behaving as the megaphone of Satan, promoting all that is evil and disgusting and their armies acting as the soldiers of Satan.
History is not in the hands of politicians, no matter how powerful they may seem, history is only in Gods hand. So there is no reason for anyone to fear anything these powerful people may decide to do.
It will all come to pass exactly the way God decides to allow history to unfold and true justice will be served only by him.
It has already been agreed by all parties concerned (the nuclear powers) that nuclear weapons will not be used in this show-down. What do you think this December agreement was for?
And Russia, for valid reasons I suggest, believe that some of those parties are “not aggreement capable”.
They would have to be stupid (which they most definitely are not) to put any trust at all in some meaningless virtue signaling but a bunch of criminals that have a completely f_cked parasitic economic system and theory that will die unless a new sacrificial host can be found — and soon. In their plan, Russia does not exist. Just a hundred or so manageable plantations for raw materials and enegery extraction by their back-room sponsors. NATO is just the racket end of the business model.
Putin has already said a number of times: no Russia, then no anybody else either! Why this cannot sink in between the western ears I do not know. The problem with Russia is they are fighting as if the nation states opposite were real (with a soul) like them. If they simply GPS-tracked the Forbes 400 top ‘masters of the universe’ with a nuclear war head each on “go -1” then peace would break out yesterday. It’s criminal gangs in the west, not countries.
At some point, the supply of natural gas and petroleum to Europe may be cut off. That is when the European business class will demand an end to the fighting and the beginning of serious negotiations regarding Russia’s security concerns. The US will try to shame Europeans into “sucking it up,” but I don’t expect such manipulative pleas to be well received.
Very good analysis, I agree.
fyi – the RT android app has been broken for days – won’t load. Also the sputnik app is under attack.
Rt site is harder to access as is sputnik – had to use a swiss vpn connection point.
usual shady infowar shit from the Empire….
Try HTTPS:/www.rt.com instead of rt.com
RT app still works on an iPhone but then Ireland is where a lot of digital traffic passes through and is still an “officially neutral country”.
I can still get all of the Russian media on the net.
Saker website is slow, probably because of a lot of genuine traffic and some F∞¢§•ng about by trolls etc.
Right now I am again in “cover crawl observe” mode. Cover being the operative word until the dust settles,I mean the hate storm in the media>I guess that will be some time.
Does not the supply of weapons constitute intervention inviting significant consequnces as stated by President Putin? Is not the sanctioning of the head of state a de facto declaration of war as argeud by Scott Ritter?
Yes on all accounts but unfortunately there’s not much Russia can do. What do you want them to do, declare war on all Europe while its forces are bogged down in Ukraine? It’s a slap on the cheek you have to take for now. Of course there will be some asymetric reprisals but my point is, there’s not a WHOLE LOT you can do realistically….this is war, you have to take reality of situation and deal with it and progress towards your objective while minimizing losses as much as possible. This is one big loss that will have to be dealt with and worked with.
Reason dictates that any weapons convoy is to be destroyed once it is well inside Ukrainian territory. The Russian forces have all the means necessary to do it, and at no risk to themselves. There’s nothing NATO states can do to prevent this. In fact, they won’t even learn about their convoys being destroyed until much later.
It’s not about preventing it. It’s about preventing the retaliation.
If the weapons are destroyed inside Ukraine, where is the “retaliation” going to come from? NATO? If NATO was in a position to retaliate, they would have done so already. The fact that they’re sending weapons in proves they have no intention of “retaliating”.
Russia should destroy anything and everything coming across the border from any Western state until this fight is completed. Planes, ships, trucks, everything. Only on the Ukraine side of the border, obviously – no strikes on the other side.
How would Russia shooting down C17, A400M, C130 from NATO countries over Ukraine be handled? Going there is a bottomless bog.
They could turn off the gas.
