According to Obama today.Russia’s coalition is Assad, and Iran. And the “rest of the World” supports the US coalition.Did anyone think to ask him if “China and India” were part of the US coalition. Those two countries alone are 30% of the World’s population.Once you count up the populations of the countries “not” in the US “coalition” you see that that coalition is “not” the “World”.It might at best be 15% of the World.Leaving out of it 85% of the World. The insane US hubris knows no bounds.
since china and india are not “exceptional”, their voice don’t count – that’s how the Exceptional and Indispensable nation thinks. The only question is why rest of world go along with it.
The world goes along with it, because any country/leaders that dare stand up.. Gets knocked out/toppled.
Thats how bullies work.
And untill “the world” see that it is safe to voice their real opinions again, they will be quiet. And will even reluctantly “agree” with the bully to avoid getting attention or end in disfaviour from the bully.
Thats why it is very big statement when Russia now defends Assad/Syria.
ALOT of leaders and countries will be watching!.
It is (could be) the _start_ of a history change of hegemony.
Good, you can always count on one think. No matter what the official propaganda is,the people “may” be anti-Russian.But there is no question that almost all the people hate ISIS.The regime can fund and arm them, they can use them. But they always try to hide that from the population (though the truth is beginning to seep out). They know the American “people” would never agree with that.Hence all the stories about “Putin making things worse”,”Russia is bombing the moderates”,”Russian bombing is killing civilians”,etc, etc”.
Probably more so than others. But I’m sure some civilians will sadly suffer. As we’ve known for years, war is hell. But the fact is,this scourge of ISIS must be destroyed.Or they will end up killing many more innocent people than the airstrikes would. The US for its own gain unleashed these evils in the ME, and now innocent people must suffer.I’m hoping the strikes can destroy ISIS enough that the Syrian and Iraqi armies (along with the Kurds) can finish them off fairly quickly. And bring peace and stability back to the region again. But of course “quickly”,is relative. And we are probably looking at another year of war at least.
When the World unites and says “no” to them. When a military defeat, internal uprising,or massive unbelievable economic collapse happens.Any one of those things,or all of them together, could end the blight.I’m of course hoping for the united “no” myself.
US is the last one to point the finger at Russia re civilians. How many civilians have they killed and which the news media ignore. It’s only their enemies that kill civilians. They on the other hand bomb use drones etc and little is heard.
Only CIA-Mossad-ISIS terror squads hit civilians. With intent. A modern, top-notch Army doesn’t. State-of-art weapons are incredibly precise. Like Ronaldo and Messi score goals en masse without injuring any spectators, ever. Clear?
The Russian have huge r e a l tasks to worry about. They want to advance their tactical and strategical plans in eradicting ISIS in Syria as far as possible, before the still shell-shocked and paralyzed US-heroes wake up from their self-inflicted stupor.
What the Red Army in team with the SAA, SAAF, Hezbollah, Quds Forces and Syrian Kurdish Forces have achieved so far is absolutely mind-blowing and goes far beyond what the sparse reports from the Russian Military Command would suggest.
Just think. About 10% of the Takfiris on the ground are CIA agents, Turkish Army generals, Qatari coordinators, Saudi commanders, Mossad heavy-weights, etc. Dozens of them have already be killed. Very unceremoniously, in the midst of precision air strikes on the best hidden and most crucial Takfiri Command and Control centers.
What is Obama going to do? Joking around and saying “Bingo, Bingo” won’t be enough this time.
I hope Russia gets lots of reporting and videos from Syria. The US “coalition” operations are off limits to reporters.
Russia’s move into Syria has cut through the spin and propaganda. Back that up with videos and reporting and Putin/Russia will carry the population of the “western” world with them.
Putin appeared stressed/ill/tired at the UN. His speech was very understated. I believe he committed to doing for the world what he has done for Russia. I hope he has got another fifteen years left in him.
The New York Daily News did on poll on the two speeches Putin’s and Obama’s.Asking which which one had the stronger arguments. The results were 96% for Putin and 4% for Obama.
“The US “coalition” operations are off limits to reporters”.
Im not surprised, they wouldn’t want the whole world seeing them dropping off supplies to their murdering head chopping psychopaths now would they ? I have said this for a couple of months now that the whole world will be on one side and only America will remain on the other side, alone.
Also, I have said that Russia together with many regional allies will bring an end to ISIS and cleanse Syria of its problems and bring peace in Syria and other countries like Iraq where ever they can. This will take a few months but the plans are working very well and every single country is being respected, consulted and providing a solution (unlike when America operates and makes decisions unilaterally).
Putin has played a masterstroke by attacking ISIS inside Syria and is using the army of Iran, intelligence and resources of Iraq, Syria etc. All these are neighbours to each other and thus have a vital national security interest in all Middle East operations and the unrest for the sake of their own survival and/or peace.
I have also believed that China is a deep supporter of all these people, but just from the behind, which is what I have asserted for a long time since their military power and economic might keeps rising.
Now facts are coming out and some are here for you to assimilate.
Meanwhile, Middle East will never be the same again. The whole region except for UAE, Oman etc is on fire! This fire will engulf every country, every businessman, every community like a cancer. Once it starts, countries shall be divided that has not happened since WW2 like Syria, Iraq, Pakistan etc. Many others will come together and the regional balance will tilt in favour of the pragmatic players like Iran, Iraq, Syria who will work ever so closely in the years ahead.
Turkey is already suffering the consequences of being left out and having been aligned to EU and US. In fact due to Turkey’s new stronger alignment with America, Russia had to rush the action into Syria last week instead of waiting any longer. You will hear much more unrest and arrests in Turkey in the months ahead as their situation worsens and business gets worse.
Turkey had recently agreed with the US to give a complete airbase to America. This would have saved hours of flights from Bahrain etc to attack inside Syria. This created the urgency to enter Syria before Turkey was able to move with US. The only delay for Turkey and US was Turkish elections of Nov 1 which became Russia’s deadline.

Look at America’s 2 choices:
Either America has to support Syria/Assad/Iraq/Russia/China/Iran etc
Or, America has to support ISIS on the opposite side.
Whichever side, America chooses, America will lose.
Such is the power of nations coming together to obliterate ISIS which is impacting everyone’s national security and is a creation of America itself.
No doubt somebody here has already pointed this out, but if not it might be worth noting: According to lenta.ru, dated 10/1 (http://lenta.ru/news/2015/10/01/secure/), a source I rarely look at but which occasionally publishes unique stuff, in this case that in addition to the marines guarding the Russian airbase in Syria, on a rotational basis there will also be Spetsnaz (Special-Forces) troops plus soldiers from the 7th Airborne Mountain division in Novorossiysk. Also two large landing ships (LST’s were on their way. (See below.) Might this portend an upcoming expansion of war on the ground ? Or am I reading too much into it ?

It might be a bit premature to uncork the bubbly just yet, but ZH is reporting this:
–
Russia Claims ISIS Now On The Ropes As Fighters Desert After 60 Airstrikes In 72 Hours
“[..] On Saturday, the Russian Ministry of Defense said it has conducted 60 bombing runs in 72 hours, hitting more than 50 ISIS targets.
According to the ministry, Islamic State fighters are in a state of “panic” and more than 600 have deserted.
According to The Kremlin, the structure shown in the video is (or, more appropriately, “was”) [video included in the ZH link] “an ISIS hardened command centre near Raqqah.” Su-34s hit it with concrete-piercing BETAB-500s setting off a series of explosions and fires that “completely destroyed the object.”
“[..] one cannot help but be amazed with the pace at which this is apparently unfolding. If any of the above is even close to accurate, it means that Russia is on schedule to declare victory over ISIS (and everyone else it looks like) in a matter of weeks, which would not only be extremely embarrassing for Washington, but would also effectively prove that the US has never truly embarked on an honest effort to rid Syria of the extremist groups the Western media claims are the scourge of humanity.”
Now, my new worry (added-up to all the other worries I already have) is… these murderers are deserting, ok, but “deserting” where?
This is completely different from drafted Ukrainian soldiers deserting to Novorossia or legging it to Russia because they were unwilling participants to begin with.
These Daesh freaks are psychopathic, sadist rapists with a taste for chopping heads off we’re talking about here! Where are they headed to? Who can tell between one of them and a non-ISIS member?
They are most likely heading to Turkey, and then Europe.Or to Iraq to continue the fighting.Or back to their home countries.Any of those choices are bad news.I was hoping they would all die in the fighting. But on the “bright” side Europe deserves to have them, its Karma.

MOSCOW, October 3. /TASS/. The United States has notified Russia’s Defence Ministry that nobody but terrorists were in the area targeted by Russian aviation, Col-Gen Andrey Kartapolov of the Russian General Staff has told reporters.
“The U.S. has notified us during contacts that there was no-one but terrorists in that region,” Kartapolov said at the National Defence Control Centre (NDCC) noting Russia had announced about the start of air strikes in advance.
“The U.S. military attach· to Iraq was the first to be informed by our representative in Baghdad Gen Kuralenko on Wednesday morning,” he said adding that the information had been delivered to the U.S. side through diplomatic channels as well.
A very good article. If a true report it gives hope for things in the future:
“Russia tightly shut the sky over Syria for any aircraft, except its own”
American military expert, a former Colonel of the U.S. army Jack Jacobs said that the United States can’t interfere with Russians in Syria, as Russia de facto set up a no-fly zone, cutting off access to any aircraft with the help of air defense systems deployed on land and on ships of the Russian navy in the Mediterranean.
In the Saudi paper on Friday, October 2 appeared an interview with former U.S. Colonel Jack Jacobs, who announced that the United States can’t stop the Russians in Syria, as Russia has set up a no-fly zone.. This means that any military aircraft entering the combat zone, may be immediately shot down as a threat to the Russian airspace forces.
American sources claim that the Russian Federation with the assistance of deployed land-based air defense systems have established a no-fly zone over the entire airspace of Syria, in addition the approaches to the Russian airbase in Latakia are also closed from the sea to a distance of 100-250 km from the coast by the Russian navy, now conducting exercises in the Mediterranean sea.
Thus, the U.S. and its allies can’t even carry out the air reconnaissance of the Russian Federation forces.
A source in military circles of the American military in Turkey reported that NATO aircraft, trying to get close to the forces of the Russian Federation, has been identified by radar, and the source of the radar could not even be traced.
“The Russians have indicated that they can see everything, and getting closer is not worth it, otherwise it will be shot down”, – said the American military.
“Frankly we were surprised by the air defense system of Russia, most likely there are the latest systems S-400. I have no other ideas,” – said Colonel Jack Jacobs.
About Russians creating a no-fly zone over Syria also writes Bloombeg, citing a senior American military officer. The commander of the NATO forces in Europe General Philip Breedlove said that the new military infrastructure of Russia in Syria, including air defense systems, de facto creates a no-fly zone.
According to Breedlove, Russia has created over Syria,a “sphere of negation”, which American planes can’t enter.
General Breedlove believes that “very complex air defense system” deployed by Russia in Syria is aimed not against the “Islamic state”, which does not have aviation. “They are against someone else,” said the commander of the NATO forces in Europe.
“After several years of discussion in the U.S.of plans to create no-fly zones in Syria to protect the rebels and civilians, appeared Vladimir Putin and in a few days established his own no-fly zone.
In the US the two parties argued for a long time and could not agree, about a no-fly zone, and Putin just went ahead and did it,” sarcastically said the author of the article on Bloomberg.
The Pentagon has admitted the scale of the Russian no-fly zone in Syria, when it began negotiations with Russia on how to avoid conflicts in the conduct of their air operations.
Discussion between the military of the two countries was conducted on October 1 via a closed video channel, and lasted about an hour. On the American side in the negotiations participated the assistant Secretary of Defense for international security Elyssa Slotkin.
“The discussion was devoted to how the U.S. and Russia can cooperate on the prevention of conflict in Syria. Such discussions will continue,” – said following the talks, the official White house spokesman Josh Ernest.
It is also known that Elissa Slotkin expressed in the negotiations concern that Russia is striking not only the militants of the “Islamic state” but other groups of terrorists, which the US considers “moderate opposition to Assad” and supports them.
The response of the representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry is unclear, but apparently, the general sense was that “We can not discriminate between the different shades of ‘crap’. So we will hammer everyone who shoots at the soldiers of the legitimate government of Syria, at whose request we are here”.
And the Americans had to accept it. Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said that the U.S. government will not use U.S. air power to protect the “moderate rebels”.
Apparently the “goodwill”, shown by the United States compromising with Russia, is not exactly “good”, but is caused by a complete fiasco of the U.S. armed forces, which in the last 20 years bombed only the ‘Papuans’ and forgot what it was like to deal with real high-tech adversary armed with modern sea and air defense systems.
I’m absolutely loving this, from your link. I read the article at one of the “Brothers in Arms” sites:
“The response of the representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry is unclear, but apparently, the general sense was that “We can not discriminate between the different shades of ‘crap’. So we will hammer everyone who shoots at the soldiers of the legitimate government of Syria, at whose request we are here”. Sweet!!

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Construction of a cutting-edge missile attack early warning radar station has begun in the Arctic, Russia’s Aerospace Defense Forces Deputy Commander said Saturday.
“Just the other day, on September 24, in the north of the country in Vorkuta, we laid the foundation stone in the construction of new early-warning radar, which will not only replace our stations in Pechora and Olenegorsk but will also supplement them,” Maj. Ранее «Интерфакс» со ссылкой на местные информационные ресурсы сообщал, что в черноморских проливах были замечены большие десантные корабли «Королев» и «Александр Отраковский», которые вошли в Средиземное море.
It might be a bit premature to uncork the bubbly just yet, but ZH is reporting this:

-TL2Q
They are most likely heading to Turkey, and then Europe.Or to Iraq to continue the fighting.Or back to their home countries.Any of those choices are bad news.I was hoping they would all die in the fighting. But on the “bright” side Europe deserves to have them, its Karma.
Lookie this–explains that 45 sec glaring silence at the UN during his podium appearance!:
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s book on ‘Palestine’ has become the latest nightmare of the Israeli Prime Minister, standing so high in Benjamin Netanyahu’s long list of Iran-related phobias that he even took the book to the podium in his Thursday speech at the UN.
Addressing the UN General Assembly meeting in New York on Thursday, Netanyahu held up what he said was the Iranian Supreme Leader’s “latest book”.

And now the Americans are just lost because they do not know how to behave with those who are able to realistically fight back.

Uncle Bob 1 –
I’m absolutely loving this, from your link. I read the article at one of the “Brothers in Arms” sites:

The construction and renovation of the missile attack warning system is set to be completed by 2020, according to the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces.
Gen. Anatoly Nestechuk told the Rusnovosti radio station.

“Looking back at today’s talks in Paris, I think Europe is trying, and is doing it rather successfully, to solve the situation in Ukraine and make real progress towards the crisis settlement without interference from overseas, without the pan-Atlantic expansion we see in Western European countries, at international platforms,” Leonid Slutsky, the chairman of the committee for the affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots of the Russian State Duma lower parliament house, said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.

While I think that was a totally accurate statement.I don’t believe that was what he meant to say.It was a real example of the saying “I misspoke” .
Would appreciate a response from someone on the following..I’ve been watching some of the video updates on Fort Russ and South Front. It seems like they’re showing a lot of detail on these Russian jets. Is that a good idea? Or is it that the US already knows everything about these aircraft? I worry.
I figure they probably know. But I thought the same .I wouldn’t show details.
