It is the time again that we have to replenish our coffers in order to stay online and effective.
First, this is what The Saker Blog offers:
The Saker blog delivers ORIGINAL material with a regular original analysis by The Saker every two weeks, and shorter pieces with commentary as developments require. In addition, a group of guest writers on various topics keep us informed regularly.
We’ve managed to stay clear of all commercials or paywalls and are still fully user supported.
This means nobody can tell The Saker or his blog what to do, what to publish, or what tack to take with anything. It keeps us honest. We are still one of the few independent blogs in a time where everybody is squeezed to take money from those that want to control them.
The time of Covid-19 materially influenced us all.
At times the blog was under severe stress, simply because our volunteer technical and moderating groups had to deal with the fall-out of Covid-19 in their own lives as well.
In the US, where the Saker is located, chaos may be about to break.
We need to keep the blog online for the duration. The strength of The Saker Blog, is that the volunteers are situated worldwide, so, we are well placed to remain online during times of chaos. But, we need to be able to pay for our technical infrastructure. Our information technology infrastructure structure is expensive, but this is necessary and we hope to keep the infrastructure hardened, during what may be a very uncertain future with challenges that we cannot always even foresee.
The very easiest for us to receive donations, remains with Patreon although all methods on our donation page are still available. 
Technically and administratively Patreon provides the smallest administrative footprint and does not carry much administrative overhead and allows donations worldwide.
So, for every new Patreon subscriber (and the old ones too, you just have to ask us), we will send you the PDF of the new Saker Book, The Essential Saker IV, Messianic Narcism’s Agony by a 1,000 cuts.
The printed Essential Saker IV book is available for purchase.
Be aware in the US the shipping and delivery time has shifted from about 3 – 5 days, to 3 weeks or more in certain instances. For Britain, European countries, Australia and the Pac Rim, book printing and deliveries are not yet interrupted. If you want to use this as a Christmas gift, or have a few for family and friends, you should buy sooner rather than later, or even right now. We cannot guarantee that we can keep this available given an uncertain future, with certain timelines already slipping. We are not Amazon. We are just our own small book publisher as the ‘Amazons’ of the world will not publish what The Saker writes. We are too close to truth.
That is what we’ve done at The Saker Blog, for our readers and our friends and our fraternal brothers and sisters.

Paypal is not allowing donations for The Saker from the country where I am anymore.
May I suggest for The Saker to open a WorldPay account? This payment portal seems to be less controlled by the power that be!
Initially, I tried to make a deposit with the “Donate with a Card” option, and, after entering Australia, as location, it kept reverting back to ‘United Kingdom’, and wouldnt allow any further progress. Tried this twice, before moving on to Paypal, and the transaction succeeded. I’m mentioning it in case others have this issue as it could prevent non Paypal holders from donating. Cheers, D.

We all need to chip in. times are tough but with pure intentions and when God provides Baraka (blessings) on the donations then they go a long way regardless of their amount.
I hope everyone that is reading will donate even if it is the amount used to buy a cup of coffee each month. consistency provides great results like rain drop.

I was moved to finally send a monthly subscription amount via Patreon (where I already have an account) rather than the previous lump sum donation method through Paypal. Unfortunately, things must be very busy at Patreon. I have reached the payment point where I’m to receive a device-verifying email to my inbox, but nothing has been received yet. It’s been well over ¾ of an hour now.
In such a circustance, Patreon suggests: “If you still don’t see an email after several minutes, try logging in again.” I’ve tried logging in again several times, with a roughly 10-minute interval each time.
I’ll leave things for now, and try all over again at a later time. I bothered to post this because others might be experiening the same delay. You’re not alone :)
I’ll be persistent because I value this site a lot. The commentary is always at a high standard, and over time I’ve learned so much from the original posts and the follow-on reader comments. Ahem, I’d be lying if I said the offer of a free PDF of The Essential Saker IV didn’t play a part in my tenacity :)
Sorry Peter, that you’ve having problems. Are you very sure that the email that you gave them actually comes to the inbox that you are checking? Did you not perhaps use another or throw-away email? I work on more than one computer and continually have to ‘verify device’ and I have not had that specific problem.
On this point and more generally (not specifically directed to Peter), yes, I know none of us trust today’s technology. But, if you give a throw away email at Patreon, I have no way of sending you the download link for your book. :-) I just sent one to what is clearly a throw away email and I despair, because in a few days you might tell me that I did not do what I promised to do and did not send you the download link for your book. Please don’t do that. Just contact me (addy at the bottom of each page) and I’ll send you the link.
So far, I am up to date with sending out all books. If you have not received yours, please contact me.

Yes, Patreon displayed the email address that they were sending the verification to, and it was the correct one. I only have one email address and it’s the same one I’ve had, now, for over 23 years.
After I posted the text, above, I made another attempt to make a subscription donation and got to the same impasse. I let things lie until today, and then I went through another attempt this morning, and again using the link at this site. Tonight, I went directly to Patreon’s web site but I got into the same dead-end loop trying to log into my account, i.e. not receiving Patreon’s verification email that they want me to respond to.
I’ve now decided to use Paypal and send a lump sum donation the same way that I’ve done before. The important thing is to support the site, so I’m not bothered that this method doesn’t come with an incentive :)
