The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has deployed newly-arrived Russian T-90 advanced battle tanks to the Southern Aleppo front for the first time. The Russian battle tanks will help to continue the SAA advance on the towns of Kafraya and Al-Fou’aa.
T-90 offers the Syrian army several new features to fight ISIS including a 2A46M 125 smoothbore tank gun; a four-stroke V-12 piston engine; and most importantly, the Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armor. Much of the ISIS’ successes in Northern Syria has come from their US manufactured anti-tank TOW missiles. The T-90 Tanks’ armor should be strong enough to endure the impact from the TOW missile.
Meanwhile, the SAA, the National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah are continuing operations against ISIS in other parts of the Aleppo province. They restored full security to Aqulah village and its surroundings on Sunday.
On Monday, the SAA repelled the militant groups’ offensive on their military checkpoint near al-Aziziyah and killed or wounded at least 50 of them in the counter-assault on Monday. The pro-government forces are advancing near Deir Hafer region.
According to the Syrian sources, the leader of Ahrar al-Jabal al-Wastani Brigade, part of the 101st Division of the US-supported Free Syrian Army, Colonel Ahmad al-Ali Abu-Ayham, was killed in the fighting on Jabal al-Akrad, northeastern Latakia Governorate on Saturday.
The Turkish Radar Electronic Attack System KORAL is reportedly being sent to the border with Syria to counter the Russian S-400 systems located on the Hmeymim air base. The decision to transfer the S-400 systems to the Russian air base and was made after the Turkish Air Force had brought down the Russian Su-24 bomber in the skies of Syria.
Clearly Turkey is supporting US created ISIS and the other groups carefully misnamed by the US Pentagon and CIA as moderate groups. ISIS=US
Putin: Russia Has Evidence Su-24 Shot Down to Protect Daesh Oil Deliveries
“We have every reason to believe that the decision to shoot down our aircraft was dictated by the desire to ensure the safety of supply routes of oil to Turkey, to the ports where they are shipped in tankers,” Putin said.

A question is ‘who egged them on? — who told them they could get away with it, or even suggested it?’.
@ blue:
Well… from what I’ve reading… there are two main theories doing the rounds around the net; 1- The Turks (mainly Erdogoon) acted on their own but with tacit approval from Big Brother (US) 2- It wasn’t Turkey acting alone, they were pressed into it by your usual criminal suspects.
The problem I have with theory number 2, is that it seems to let Turkey off the hook. They were acting under duress/orders… whatever! That didn’t fly in the Nuremberg trials, I don’t see why it should fly here, even if it’s true.
Turkey is a NATO member – and a rather enthusiastic one, it must be said – we all know who pulls the strings in NATO… why split hairs? They’re ALL equally to blame, as far as I’m concerned. A plague on ALL their houses!
And with all the mounting evidence of Turkey ties with the oil/organ/people/antiquities/arms smugglers, plus their links with ISIS, or ISIS linked groups, it’s becoming pretty darn obvious that Turkey has its own reasons to protect the smuggling lanes AND their head-chopping friends.
It wouldn’t surprise me if in some time in the near future, we’ll learn they were active actors in this whole “Syrian uprising” against Assad from the very beginning. In other words… they’re as guilty as hell, not only for the two Russian fallen servicemen, but they’re also complicit in ISIS’ crimes against humanity.

NATO intentionally shot down Russian SU 24 over Syria – basta !
NATO ground troops slaughtered one parachuting Russian pilot then
mutilating/desecrating his body on Syrian soil and one Russian marine of a helicopter
rescue mission . – facts
That is something I’m wondering too. What happened to Peskov’s body while it was in the possession of the terrorists. Did they mistreat his remains,or not. If they did, examiners (and eyesight) should be able to confirm. If they didn’t, the outrage won’t grow. But if they did. I suspect that will further enrage Russia. Having heard of the savage actions of the jihadis in the past on their victims. I think its an even bet they did.
Hi Bob,
I saw the raw video, it was much worse than the blurred distortion that RT presented. The terrorists did mutilate and desecrate the body – while exhibiting extreme glee (especially a white-haired Turkmen terrorist who couldn’t contain himself). I think by now most of the terrorists in that video clip have been converted into little pieces of rat-food by the retaliatory Russian bombing and shelling.
As for further outrage in Russia, I can’t comment, we’re not there to gauge it.
Erdogan has seriously screwed up in what could be a “Sadaam moment”: he initiated the reckless move, possibly asked for permission from the US/Nato, got a nebulous response that was designed to make him take it as a ‘Yes’, then committed the aggression, then found himself holding the bag when he realized that the cavalry wasn’t coming to back his move, gave Russia the excuse to operationalize the S-400, found out that he had just denied himself the operational space to bomb the Kurds in Syria.
It was a typical cruel and cowardly move that you’d expect from an entitled autocrat.
So who benefits from what appears to be a bone-headed move?
The US:
—> puts a tighter leash around Erdogan and precludes him from continuously complicating their relationship and ground operations with the Kurds .
—> makes Erdogan a whole lot more dependent-on and controllable by the West.
—> allows them to continue to use Incirlik AFB.
Russia:
—> allows them to openly operationalize the S-400
—> makes it possible to keep Turkish fighter-jets/bombers out of Syria at time and place of Russia’ choosing.
—> further accelerates Russia’s import substitution in the agri-sector
(regarding the benefits to Russia, I’m not claiming these were pre-thought-out, just that these are the current effects of Erdogan’s attack.)
From Reuters…
Turkey’s prime minister dismissed on Monday any suggestion Ankara should apologize for downing a Russian warplane in its airspace last week, after winning strong NATO support for the right to defend itself. http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/11/30/us-syria-crisis-turkey-nato-idUSKBN0TJ14F20151130
My guess is Erdogan just has to run his initiatives past anonymous US/CIA/Pentagon officials to be sure he gets backing after the deed is done.

Prosecutors ban Soros Foundation as ‘threat to Russian national security’
“The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has recognized George Soros’s Open Society Institute and another affiliated organization as undesirable groups, banning Russian citizens and organizations from participation in any of their projects.
In a statement released on Monday, prosecutors said the activities of the Open Society Institute and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation were a threat to the foundations of Russia’s Constitutional order and national security. They added that the Justice Ministry would be duly informed about these conclusions and would add the two groups to Russia’s list of undesirable foreign organizations.
Prosecutors launched a probe into the activities of the two organizations – both sponsored by the well-known US financier George Soros – in July this year, after Russian senators approved the so-called “patriotic stop-list” of 12 groups that required immediate attention over their supposed anti-Russian activities. Other groups on the list included the National Endowment for Democracy; the International Republican Institute; the National Democratic Institute; the MacArthur Foundation and Freedom House [..]”

Turkey Arrests Generals Who Stopped Syria-Bound, Weapons-Laden, Spook Trucks
“Turkey’s support for some militias (the Turkmen fighters aligned with the FSA for instance) is not secret. However, there’s no shortage of speculation that Erdogan is also allied with less “moderate” forces including ISIS. On RT its reported that if Russia can prove Turkey’s involvement with ISIS,that Erdogan said would “step down” from office. He says though,he would ” examine the proof”,so that leaves him a “big out” there. He can claim the proof is fake. I don’t see him resigning unless forced to by the other leaders of Turkey (or the US). So we’ll have to wait to see if that happens.
Answering a reporter’s question during the recent joint press conference with Hollande, Putin stated, that whether Erdogan should fulfil his promise to resign if shown such a proof, was an entirely internal matter of Turkey.
Erdogan’s comment keeps getting twisted. I think he stated more along the likes the if Turkish government involvement was proven in the oil smuggling he’s step down. Well, is the government in the oil business or is it his family, friends? Proven? Like in a Turkish court? Fat chance.
Are These The Tankers Bilal Erdogan Uses To Transport ISIS Oil?
Regular readers are by now well acquainted with Bilal Erdogan, the son of Turkish autocrat Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Although Erdogan senior masquerades as President of a democratic society, he is in reality a despot –
Earlier today, Vladimir Putin explicitly accused Ankara of attempting to protect ISIS oil routes by shooting down Russian warplanes which have destroyed hundreds of Islamic State oil trucks in November.
Erdogan of course denies the allegations, but as we’ve shown, it would be very easy for Turkish smugglers to commingle ISIS and KRG crude (which, by the way, is also technically illegal), effectively using Kurdish oil to mask Turkey’s participation in the Islamic State oil trade.
Some contend that Bilal Erdogan’s marine transport company BMZ Group (which owns a Maltese shipping company) is involved in trafficking ISIS oil –

and in an interview with Saker:
But is it possible that Turkey is selling the stolen oil without Washington’s knowledge? Are the Turkish officials who are responsible for oil smuggling acting alone or are they backed by some influential oil market players?
“US intelligence agencies suffer from many weaknesses, but being unable to track money movements is not one of them,” The Saker, an anonymous top level American military analyst, told Sputnik in an exclusive interview.
“Furthermore, both the USA and Israel have an extensive network for agents in Turkey. I thus consider it extremely unlikely that anybody in Turkey would be able to move around large sums of money without the US being fully aware of that. Also, consider that Daesh is a top-priority target for US intelligence agencies and that their immense data collection capabilities are also focused on the Daesh side of the equation,” he emphasized.
“Finally,” The Saker added, “the illegal sale of oil is a minor element in a much more important battle between the USA and the Russia-Iran-Syria alliance and, thus, the US would never allow it to interfere with its bigger objectives.”
The analyst underscored that corruption has long been an integral part of the US “imperial” system.
“Corruption being one key feature of the US Empire, it is normal for the US deep state to allow its local puppets to engage in profitable war profiteering, but only as long as this does not interfere with the global US strategy,” he stressed.

I’m wondering if they know which tanker (or maybe all his tankers) holds Syrian oil they couldn’t intercept it in transport. The UNSC resolution says they can take action on fighting ISIS. And cutting ISIS finance would be one action. I believe I read that its possible to determine from oil samples where the oil came from. So if they could do that, that would be the proof they needed. That would not be the first time ships have been stopped.searched, and sometimes seized if found with contraband. That has happened several times with North Korean ships, and Libyan as well. And if the ships were registered in Malta,it should even be easier.
Yea they can find out where the oil was drilled as every well is slightly different, which is why the oil is mixed with Kurdish exports and with the oil already in Turkey to make this impossible. So the end user have no idea exactly where the oil originated from hence why erdo is so confidedant that no one can prove it. You can only say that oil is adulterated as no known well would produce such oil which is not the same. But the US has gotten convictions with far less evidence..

Would be funny if the Russians painted a red “X” atop one of those tanker trucks, and then rolled out a series of satellite photos showing its route from ISIS territory to a destination in Turkey.
Unfortunately, at this stage of the game most people in the West are so in thrall to the MSM that they would likely still dismiss this as “propaganda”.
Nuclear war with my full support.
Human being are just intelligent animals, but if God made them so intelligent so that they can build weapons of mass destruction, it only means that Its will is the total obliteration of this species by themselves.
So it is, so it mote be.
You may describe yourself so but then why is yqur name too important to mention?
Right. If G-d did not give us wings to fly, then we shouldn’t fly. Let us avoid all forms of defeatism, please, and the worst is spiritual defeatism which bypasses the idea of free will. As for destruction of the planet, I say, no way. No way will I be complicit . This is the only true response to “only the truth can set you free”‘s post.
And on the subject of “truth”. The Buddhists have a saying—“If it is not compassionate, it is not true” which is something to which the Western “scientific ”
paradyme mind can only reply, ” Stuff and nonsense” or “huh?” which is why we are in this mess in the first place.
Actually, the scientific reply is ‘our paradigm still can’t handle most of compassion, although we have some progress in mirror cells, group evolution, and bit elsewhere here and there. This is not the sort of thing science does; we don’t do windows either’. The problem isn’t science, but neurosis, psychopathy, capitalism, imperialism, stupidity, etc.
On the other hand, I’ve seen a lot of things which look true which are not compassionate. ‘Fleas bite’ is just one.
A Jain would really disagree on that one.
To quote Michael Flanders, “If God had intended us to fly, He would never have given us the railways.” ;)
No spectacular progress on Syrian front.
http://news.antiwar.com/2015/11/29/al-qaeda-recaptures-aleppo-town-from-syrian-army/
“Two weeks ago, the Syrian military had claimed a major early victory in their high-profile Aleppo Province offensive, seizing several towns include Tal Bajer. At the time, this was seen as a huge momentum shift as Russian warplanes backed the offensive.
This weekend, however, those gains are looking fleeting, as al-Qaeda’s Nusra Front has already retaken Tal Bajer and is looking to contest other towns in the area. Al-Qaeda released drone footage showing their forces advancing on the town in tanks.”
We shouldn’t think this war will be easy. Its been difficult all along. I suspect we will win it. But we are a long way away from that. And it will probably be back and forth for much of that . I think only at the last stages will it get easier.
Al-Queda not only has drones but also tanks!
So much for their Toyota truck battalions or the ludcious Western idea that they are NOT being armed by nation-states (ahem, America, Turkey, etc).
With tanks I’m not sure. Those would be very hard to explain away. I suspect those are tanks they got from the Iraqi and Syrian stocks they captured. Remember the reports when they captured Mosul they seized a “mother lode” of military equipment. And that was just some of the weapons stocks they captured.
The Resistance is definitely making progress. I recommend following the Twitter feed of Leith Abou Fadel (https://twitter.com/leithfadel). He’s young, but he’s the editor-in-chief of Al-Masdar News.
Leith Abou Fadel
I believe this is the son of the man who runs the excellent Syrian Perspective blog.
The drone footage is worth a watch. Surprizingly the video is quite good quality.
The attack itself involved one broken down tank and two apc. The result was amazing and gives a good insight into why the war has developed the way it has.
Tanks need fuel, oil and munitions all of which need to be imported or taken from stockpiles. By closing borders and destroying stockpiles ISIS will not be able to fight the Syrian army. It may take many months to cut ISIS supplies, but that is surely the key to this war.
Meanwhile, America and its European imperialist allies are plotting a military escalation in both Iraq and Syira–conveniently justified as a “response” to the curious events of France’s 9-11..

to Combat Anti-Muslim Protests in United States – NGO

“Muslim Leaders Brace for Armed Anti-Islam Protesters Across US
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A US pro-Muslim advocacy group plans a new campaign to oppose efforts to foster Islamophobia in the United States, Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper told Sputnik.
“We must sit down and come up with a pro-active strategy to counter islamophobia,” Hooper said on Monday. “We need the support of others in our society.”
A group called the Bureau of American Islamic Relations (BAIR) held a protest at the Islamic Center of Irving in Irving, Texas against allowing Syrian refugees into the United States and then published the names and addresses of Muslims and Muslim sympathizers on their Facebook page.
“The anti-Muslim environment is even more toxic than even after the 9/11 [September 11, 2001] attacks. The Paris attacks were just a trigger. It came at a time when we have a rise in overall anti-Muslim sentiment,” Hooper claimed.”
The zionists (both Jewish and Christian zionists) have worked very hard over the last 70 years to instill as much anti-Muslim sentiment in the West as possible. And on the reverse side they’ve worked equally hard to conflate Jews and Judaism as an ally of Western culture and Christians. All of that is ironic, considering that Islam and Judaism are far more alike than either are to Christianity. And through the centuries Jews and Muslims have been friendly with each other far more than either have been with Christians. Facts conveniently overlooked by almost everyone in today’s West.
The countless zionist supporters (journalists, writers, artists, teachers) have, ever since the dream of a zionist state in Palestine started ,deluded the West with portrayals of the “evil Muslim” opposed to the image they have built of the “good plucky Israeli”. Probably 3/4 of the historical tomes and studies of the MENA are written by Jewish authors. And while a few of those are unbiased,a couple even pro-Palestinian. At least 85-95% of them are pro-Israeli or anti-Muslim (many times both). Some subtly so,some totally “in your face” with the lies.
Because of that and the role of other propaganda tools. Primarily the mass media, movies, and business interests. The poison has sunk deep in the West. And also ironically, the “threat” they constantly warn about as a “clash of civilizations” they themselves have brought about. A stop to the “madness” can’t come from the West. If its going to be stopped,it must come from the East. From countries like Russia and China. Russia has a large and in most cases loyal Muslim population. And has a tradition of living together (usually in the last centuries peacefully). China,on the other hand has very little zionist influence to disturb them. That free’s those societies to not side with either unfairly. And allows them to see clearer without zionist propaganda blinding them. But as far as the West is concerned,Muslims are mistaken in thinking that they will suddenly get Westerners to judge them fairly. As I said the poison is too deep.
The “refugees” coming into Europe from what I have seen are not “Muslim” or at least not at any level devout. They broach many rules of Islam.
Enough said. Yes, the anti Islam propaganda is strong in the West and people confuse the religion with the people from regions of where the religion is practiced. I would also go on to say that Wahhabism is not Islam but a gross perversion of Islam used to destroy the religion from within.
As predicted, the AZ bait and switch is on..
Media reports in imperial backwater Canada plainly state Russia violated Turkish airspace — no context or mention of the time frame, implying the Russians got what they deserved.
As ever, Western criminal elites understand potentially millions will die in their long planned armegeddon ‘event’ (now marketed under new brand name Dabiq) and THEY DON’T CARE.
Putin’s threats to expose the top level gangsters has made them nervous.
Success or failure overseas will not affect the imposition of an unquestionably totalitarian system at home.
Lose or win Syria, they will CONSOLIDATE at home. Expect use of potentially nuclear events in Syria to cover for massive new violations of civil ‘rights’ including theft of additional trillions in the aftermath of an even bigger and very well planned financial collapse
I would say this:
a) NATO escalation in Syria was something that I expected.
b) I did not expect it to have been so rapid though.
c) This is probably due to the success of the Russian operation.
d) And also to forestall/delay/prevent the further build-up of Russian forces in Syria.
e) There is great urgency on the part of the Degenerate Empire to build-up their own forces in Syraq.
f) Hence the Paris false flag event.
g) Hence Cameron’s drive to get a vote on Syria intervention.
h) Hence the shooting-down of the Su-24.
i) To create massive tension between RUS and TUR.
k) The US strategy seems to be to use TUR as a 2nd UKR. But this time, only more dangerous.
l) Tension with Turkey will massively complicate the Russian operation in Syria and will harm the Russian economy. Since oil cannot go any lower than $40/bbl, they have to get more creative.
m) TUR citizens are also major holders of gold. How would they AZs love to get their hands on that shit!
n) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP1x74cAIcQ
o) Turkey’s gold. Imagine what would happen to it if Turkey ends up in financial meltdown and Ukropian-like failed-state.

So Turnkey is continuing to be ‘impudent’ to Russia…usually Putin has a move, that comes from out of nowhere that completely surprises everyone….and I can hardly wait until Ergodum gets his.
I don’t know if anyone else has already posted this, but this is the newest crosstalk..its super good.

I did not expect it to happen, but the IMF has just added the RMB to the SDR.
Now it is easy to see why China did not take a stronger position in backing Russia in Syria.
How does this affect Russia central bank? Can they hold reserves in yuan rather than US dollars to be able to issue currency?
They are set to gradually build up 19% of their reserves in Yuans.
19% is not much but I guess its a start.

Like Putin’s observations on IS oil, smuggling appears to be on an industrial scale. But the western MSM take no notice just award Turkey with further bongs and promises of EU visas. Political assassination is met with a shrug of the shoulders, arrest of a newspaper editor and journalist, of no real concern. Just think back to how they were with Boris Nemtsov. Such f**king hypocrisy. Time will tell. People always think Russia to be invincible, having proven herself so many times before. But it is bad for Donbass. The world has changed incredibly in the last 15 months. We have been so involved and close to world events that it is hard to realise or see the rapid acceleration of evil, it is deadlocked right now, but something must give under the pressure. WASHINGTON, December 1. /TASS/. Russia’s arming its Su-34 warplanes in Syria with air-to-air missiles can only complicate an already difficult situation in Syria’s airspace, Pentagon spokesperson Michelle Baldanza told TASS on Monday.
“Such systems will further complicate an already difficult situation in the skies over Syria and do nothing to further the fight against ISIL [the former name of the terrorist group Islamic State which is outlawed in Russian] as they have no air force,” she said. “·We expect that if Russia follows through, they will abide by our Memorandum of Understanding regarding flight safety and not direct this system against Coalition aircraft.”
My goodness……….and Turkey’s action didn’t complicate the situation???/Is Turkey part of the coalition, it could be assumed any Turkish plane will attack, as Turkey has said……….

ANKARA, December 1. /TASS/. The crisis in relations between Moscow and Ankara over the downing of a Russian jet by Turkey may be resolved through an international court, ex-mayor of Antalya Mustafa Akaydin told TASS on Tuesday.
“The presidents of the two countries should be guided by cold reason. What if they think about turning to an international court,” said Akaydin, an MP from Turkey’s main opposition Republican People’s Party.
Turkey could lose over $20 billion per year due to Russia’s sanctions. This figure includes the losses of Antalya, a popular travel destination for Russian tourists, which may reach some $6 billion, the politician said.
Some 40,000 Russians live in Antalya on a permanent basis. “All of them are our guests. I can assure you that there is no and can be no tension between the Russian citizens and the residents of Antalya,” he said.”

BRUSSELS, December 1. /TASS/. NATO has provided “political coverage” to Ankara in the incident with Turkey’s downing a Russian warplane in Syria and so, the alliance shares the responsibility for it, Russia’s Permanent Representative at NATO Alexander Grushko said on Tuesday, commenting of the statement of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Russia and NATO had discussed the incident with the Russian Su-24 bomber.

Deliberate Attack
“I had a conversation with NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow about the incident with the Su-24. He did not confine himself to the aspects that had been mentioned by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. I informed him of Russia’s position on the incident and cited the military and political factors that testify to the fact that it was a deliberate attack on the Russian plane in Syria’s airspace,” Grushko said.
“I stressed that NATO, which gave no principled assessment of this illegal act, as a matter of fact, politically covered up Ankara as its member and that is why it shares responsibility for the incident,” he said. “Once again, we see that political considerations are getting the upper hand over objectivity and mere common sense.”
In violation of NATO practices
“I would like to note that this is not the first time when NATO uses double standards in the interests of Atlantic solidarity. I will give an example. The NATO Council statement of October 5 on the so-called violations of the Turkish airspace by Russian planes refers to NATO’s practice, in line with which a Turkish fighter approached the so-called violator, identified it and accompanied to the point of leaving the country’s airspace,” he said. “In the case of the November 24 incident [when the Russian Su-24 bomber was downed by a Turkish fighter jet], even if we take for granted the absolutely ungrounded version of violation of Turkey’s airspace, these NATO’s practices were not observed, since, according to Ankara, the pilots did not even know the identity of the violator plane.”
“NATO prefers not to go in detail what was the reason for Turkey’s decision to launch a missile to down a plane which was flying in Syria’s airspace and which posed no threat to Turkey,” he said.”

Rostec announced that state testing of an aerial command post has been successfully completed and will enter into service with the Russian Defense Ministry.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – State testing of an aerial command post created on the basis of the Russian Ilyushin Il-80 Maxdome aircraft has been successfully completed and will enter into service with the Russian Defense Ministry by the end of the year, a subsidiary of Rostec announced Tuesday.
The only other country besides Russia that utilizes an aerial command post is the United States, which it calls the “Judgment Day plane,” and is used when it is impossible to set up a ground-based infrastructure to command troops or if the ground-based command center is destroyed.

There are two pieces I saw that I thought were important. One,is a report (in German) about some Iraqis having to buy their children back from ISIS. They were made slaves, and ISIS sold them back to their family. The ISIS slave market was in Turkey. So the family had to do the payoff deal in a town in Southern Turkey.

And the other one is a cartoon from a Czech magazine in 1958. It seems the USSR helped save Syria back then from a joint US and Turkish coup attempt against the Syrian government of the day. How times change, and still stay the same. The cartoon is as valid today as it was then:
