I didn’t vote for either crimminal side today. But certainly would have if this good man’s name was on a ballot.

Me either Im fed up with the USA’S IMMORAL AGGRESSION..against the MIDDLE East ! I refusing to vote until USA forms a ANTI WAR party !

        @Aleta,

U.S.A., by itself, will never form a anti-war party. Shouldn’t the American people start to organize a new grassroots party to challenge the current political duopoly?

      • Czerny on November 08, 2018  ·  at 5:22 am EST/EDT

Your (I assume you are from the US) country is at war since its foundation. It would be about time to see an Anti War party.

Saw this earlier today and have been busy passing it around. Very dignified delivery done in a style Trump or any other neocon would find impossible to replicate. Iran is Just, the Outlaw US Empire Unjust yet again. Also, Rouhani had an op/ed published by Financial Times imploring Europe to reject unilateralism and return to its norm of multilateralism. The item’s behind a paywall, but a there’s a good recap here.

So what they become solely reliant on russia?
Also the soviet armed saddam with his illegal war/genocide on iranian civilians and shared the western ambition of opposing the islamic revolution. Which they did Diplomatically politically and by giving arms to dictator saddam.
So yeah the iranians arent falling in the arms of Russia. I wonder why?

  8. S-400 on November 06, 2018  ·  at 10:40 pm EST/EDT

But is it Good for Israel?

Iran will overcome these sanctions, and in the process, will inflict incalculable damage to the residual power and prestige of the US.

Successive US administrations have been unable to establish a pragmatic relationship with Iran – not so much because of the 1979 revolution or the mutual anomosity that lingers – but mostly because Israel and its backers forbid it.

    Its that simple.
The US cannot normalize relations with Iran, because Israel insists that Iran be isolated, and its potential restricted.

Israel cannot counter Iran by itself, so this task has been foisted upon the US.

Who here remember that Obama in his 1st term exchanged letters with his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?

The kibosh was quickly put on this overture however, when the MSM and its multitudes of zionist-affiliated pundits started screaming that Ahmadinejad was an unabashed terrorist and anti-semite, who wanted to “wipe Israel from the map”.

Despite the fact that there was no truth to this and Ahmadinejad said no such thing, that description of him stuck with the unsophisticated masses, after being repeated 10 million times, and Obama had to back off.

Obama also had to abandon plans to nominate veteran diplomat and US patriot, Chas W. Freeman, as his National Security Advisor – Freeman had previously served as US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and is known as a Mideast pragmatist who is not enamoured with Israel or beholden to it.

Israel and AIPAC were livid when Freeman name came up, and Obama came under sustained fore and had to quickly distance himself from Freeman.

To his credit however, Obama was not deterred and in his 2nd term he was able to produce the JPCOA, against all odds.

Israel did not favour the agreement and as such, it was destined for destruction -irrespective of what Americans thought of it.

Before the final agreement was reached, in an inbelievable spectacle, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu journeyed to the US and met with the US Congress.

Netanyahu actually addresed a joint session of the US Congress, in which he berated the US president for pushing the deal and he poured scorn on the agreement.

The members of the House and Senate who were present for the speech, gave numerous standing ovations and clapped and cheered throughout.

    Can you imagine that?
A foreign leader comes to a country and tells its parliament to give the middle finger to the leader of that country, and the members clap and cheer and reward the speaker with standing ovations.

It was Patrick Buchanan who years ago aptly described the US Congress as “Israeli Occupied Territory”.

Today this description is clearer than ever.

The agreement was finally reached, but before the ink was even dried, Israel and its agents set out to undermine and sabotage it.

Objectively the agreement was good for America but deemed bad for Israel, and as such it had to go.

By complying with the agreement the US stood to make $billions from Iran.
Iran was eager to begin shopping for American goods – not arms mind you – passenger planes and medicine were high on their list.

The Iranians were able to finally access Iranian funds frozen by US, and they lost no time in entering into a $billion agreement with Boeing for the purchase of passenger planes – to upgrade its aging fleet.

The deal meant $billions for the US economy and 100s of jobs, but Israel was against it and immediately set out to have it scuttled.

Israel and its agents in the US soon provided “evidence” that Iran regularly uses passenger planes to transport weapons to Hezbollah, and they argued that the Boeing deal should therefore be scrapped and they started creating legal hurdles for the deal

The Israelis also set out to present the unfrozen Iranian funds as $billions from the US government.
It was being said that Obama gave $billions to the Ayatollahs.

Arch zionist Sheldon Adelson seethed with rage at the deal and vowed to have it torn up.

Trump came out against the JPCOA at AIPAC’s 2016 annyal convention, and it has since emerged that Adelson and Netanyahu were instrumental – son-in-law Jared Kushner also – in getting Trump to oppose the deal early on.

So Trump who campaigned about Making America Great Again, was forced to opposed this deal that was in all respect, good for America – $billions in the economy and 100s of jobs – because where MAGA collides with Israeli interests, Israeli interests take precedent.

These sanctions are being imposed on Iran, not because they are in US interests, but solely because Israel demands it.

A country like this, whose leaders are forced to make decisions that run counter to the national interests, will not be able to bend Iran to its will

The US will have to first demonstrate that it can first stand up to Israel – Iran has done this since 1979 – before it tries to challenge Iran.

Iran will emerge even stronger from these sanctions, while the US will come away with its global leverage considerably diminshed.

Yawn. The US and Israel are both run by the Jewish Mafia. There is nobody in the room who could stand up.

Your rather brusk response, to a very good post from Selah, is symptomatic of what is wrong with the US. People (Removed. No personal attacks. Mod.) need to make a noise and face up to the weak-kneed and greedy politicians, who you know full well are in the back pocket of the Jewish mafia.

    • Zico, The Musketeer on November 07, 2018  ·  at 6:25 pm EST/EDT

      About that, and Obama…
You forgot something very important, the first Iranian nuclear deal with Brazil.

Obama wrote a letter to Lula asking him to intermediate a deal with Iran. I bet Boing was already pushing it.
Who have the idea we will never know. Lula may have asked for the letter himself and Putin…is Putin.

In one week Lula spoke, in person, with Obama, Cameron???(not sure), Sarkozy, Merkel, Putin and Erdogan. After this busy week he went to Iran(Straight from Turkey)to talk with Ahmadinejad.

Lula( the author if the expression WIN-WIN that allows Russia and China to sell themselves) politics made the deal.
It was quite simple, Iran was supposed to send its Uranium to Brazil and Brazil provides enriched uranium.

To astonishment of the world leaders, Iran was agreement capable but of course it doesn’t matter because one day after Obama, under pressure, denied to have written the letter and the deal was declared insufficient by the powers that be.
Despite the deal offer exactly what they want, the end of uranium processing in Iran, they did not accepted the agreement and the subject vanished from the media pretty fast.
The letter, handwritten, is in the Itamaraty(Brazilian Foreign Office) archives.

Brazil(and Putin!!!) knew in advance that the deal was not to be accepted anyway. That’s why Lula told Ahmadinejad that not even 1 gram of their uranium will come to Brazil, making the deal possible.
It was all a trap to show to the world that Iran was reasonable and agreement capable. And so they did it opening the door to the actual deal.

Changing the subject a little reading your statement that Iran back to the Market is all good to the USA economy, I think you forgot one aspect the deeply interest the powers that be.
Iran out of the world market, considering their political situation, is good for the dollar because… who told you they will sell oil for dollars?
Trump may not have options here.

Not that I agreed with their reasons but they do have interests in keeping the situation as it is.

Javad Zarif is a sophisticated, knowledgeable, and a most intelligent politician, very much like Bashar al-Assad (Syria) and Hassan Nasrallah (Lebanon). The fact that dignified people such as these are standing up to the US and its satraps sheds interesting light on the moral stature of the West in general and its political representatives in particular. Referring to El Trumpo and his proud US compatriots as intellectually challenged would be taking understatement to the point of caricature.

  14. Nussiminen on November 07, 2018  ·  at 4:29 pm EST/EDT

Javad Zarif: — President Trump’s predecessors also began crafting their Iran policy with similar bravado, but came around at accepting and respecting the reality of Iran as they becane more experienced in office. My name is Javad Zarif, and this is Iran’s message.

With all due respect, I feel disposed to believe that Israel’s current Pindo pillow-biter par excellance is a 100% lost cause. What matters here, as you said, is the acceptance and the ensuing respect by which the country and people of Iran are rewarded thanks to their societal accomplishments. The Zionazi lobbies are well aware of this fact, which is why they have to rein in their silly Euro-American playthings every once in a while.

I’m linking this comment because it is one of the best descriptions of the Iranian people that I have seen.

    Albertarocks

“I have met quite a few Iranian people who live and work in Canada.  They are actually very nice people who seem to fit right in.  They dress like we do.  They talk like we do.  They work hard like we do and they just seem to mind their own business.  They’re nice looking people, the women are gorgeous and with hair that gives a new meaning to the world ‘black’.   And every one of them were smiley and genuinely friendly folks.

But the one thing that impressed me most was that their sense of history is much stronger than anybody in the west seems aware of.  They are fully aware that they are decendants of the ancient Persian empire and they have as much pride in that as Americans generally have of USA, USA, USA.  The only difference is that the Iranians have had that pride for 2,500 years.  They literally think of themselves as Persians.

In any case, these people kind of shocked me with the calm demeanor they have when talking about the possibility of conflict in the Middle East and the absolute lack of fear that they have of Israel… or the USA.  I mean, if quiet confidence was a commodity that could be bottled and sold, the Iranians would very quickly be among the wealthiest people out there.  They do not fit the stereotype of a half-crazed wild eyed muslim nutcase.  They are very intelligent and even rather classy.  I hope nobody makes the mistake of thinking Iran would be a pushover.  I get the sense that would be a Pandora’s box better left unopened.”

Millions of people are awaking. CNN has lost 41% of its audience over the past year; the mighty Zionist propaganda machine is breaking down.

If even one major voice starts telling the truth, the lying liars will crumble rapidly.

The Saker likes to say that the current Cold War is mostly informational. I think we are seeing the war’s Battle of Stalingrad; the forces of truth are starting to win.

The next major battle will be against the blatant bribery of Congress. We will see how that goes.

I wish all the best for the Iranian people .They do not deserve the illegal sanctions that are being perpetrated upon them.

The following has also been posted as PressTV takes supposed high moral ground on illegal immigration beneath the article
The plan to flood Europe with migrants – UN 2000 report
    (25/8/18) |Candobetter :

I admire Iran for its resolute defiance of the United States’ Empire. Since 1945, the US has, overtly or covertly, meddled in a vast number of countries causing many thousands of deaths in most and a total death toll in the millions. Countries the US has directly meddled in include Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Iran, most infamously in 1953, and Saddam Hussein’s war against Iraq from 1980 until 1988. Much of Latin America has also suffered the rule of bloody military juntas, installed with the help of the CIA. Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador have suffered bloody wars at the hands of the United States’ local vassals

However, the otherwise informative Iranian PressTV (https://presstv.com or htttps://presstv.ir) now, perversely, sides with those forces now trying to meddle in the internal affairs of the United States!

Currently International forces largely guided by billionaire George Soros are attempting to overturn the immigration laws of the United States, as well as those of the European states. Nearly all of the coverage of this ongoing crisis by PressTV takes the supposed high moral ground of supporting the right of any person from Latin America or anywhere else in the world to seek a better life in the United States without regard to how this will affect existing United States’ residents, particularly those who are unemployed or with low-skilled jobs.

PressTV’s coverage fails to point out that the same criminal US elites, who have caused wars in recent years against Libya, Syria, Iraq Afghanistan and Yemen, also support the illegal immigration of cheap house maids and low-wage workers into the United States.

The Venezuelan Telesur TV (https://www.telesurenglish.net/) also takes this supposed high moral ground. This ‘reporting’ by the otherwise informative Telesur can only make it much harder for ordinary US citizens to understand that they should oppose attempts by the US government to again interfere in countries like Venezuela and Nicaragua.

    • anon12309846 on November 08, 2018  ·  at 11:35 am EST/EDT

It’s admitted here that the USA does meddle in the affairs of other countries, so why shouldn’t these countries return the favor? Also what has ordinary USA citizens opposition(if that even genuinely exists) to their government’s imperialism ever accomplished?

Tehran is still clueless after all these years starting in late 2011 that NATO and partners are doing everything they can to play out Revelation of the Bible and the Koran.

The sanctions, Trumps theatrical role and the disparate roles played by NATO and others are all cast according to Revelation but equally much according to the “Club of Rome document” with its official name being:

The First Global Revolution: A Report by the Council of the Club of Rome

    * https://archive.org/details/TheFirstGlobalRevolution/page/n1

It is written by Alexander King and Bertrand Schneider, with a clear reference to the 382 AD Decree of the Council of Rome when they decided which books should be canon in the Bible and which to leave out: The Book of Enoch + one more from the Torah. This means the clergy veiled (what they call) “God’s WORD”.

One chapter is called “The Human Malaise”. That is what they think of us and alas they are not human but merely humanoid – form, not essence.

    • William Chandler on November 23, 2018  ·  at 6:33 pm EST/EDT

Let’s not forget it was Christ who cursed the fig tree ( Israel ) and prophesied it’s destruction ( including the temple and it’s walls ). Also he left it desolate.

“christian.zionism” is a Satanic Cult . To claim they are going to “Build the THIRD Temple” is proof they know nothing of Christianity.
To claim the Third Temple is yet to be built is to Deny Jesus Christ.
Jesus “The LAMB of GOD” was the FINAL sacrifice (accepted by God) by the Temple Priests.
Jesus “REARED UP” the Third Temple, HIMSELF, in three days, on Easter morning. JOHN 2:20 King James Bible “Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?”
No matter how you look at it …. The THIRD Temple has already BEEN “built”
      Mathew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
The Second (third?)Temple veil was DESTROYED as Jesus died, the LAMB of GOD sacrificed on the Cross, and the THIRD TEMPLE was “reared up” on the THIRD DAY, Easter Sunday. JESUS is the THIRD TEMPLE if you are a CHRISTian.
      and also …..
Per Peloubet’s Bible Dictionary 1925 there (ALREADY) were THREE physical Temples in Jewish history:
FIRST Temple built by Solomon, for a little more then 400 years, from @ B.C. 1000 to B.C. 588. From Solomon to the Babylonian exile.
SECOND Temple Zereubbabel’s or the Temple of the Return, built with the aid of the Prophets Zechariah and Haggai, lasted nearly 500 years years, from it’s completion B.C. 515 to B.C. 20. We see by the description of Ezra 6:3 that this Temple was about one third larger then Solomon’s.
THIRD Temple Herod’s Temple lasting only @ 90 years from B.C. 20 to it’s destruction by Titus, August A.D. 70. “JOHN 2:20 King James Bible “Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?””
The whole area or platform was called the Temple. Solomon made it about 600 feet square, containing 12 acres. This area ,according to Josephus, was nearly doubled when Herod built the THIRD temple.
King Herod the Great spent 30 years refurbishing Zorobabel’s temple (the second temple) just in time for the coming of Christ, who not only prophesied that the temple would be destroyed — which is was in 70 A.D. by the 21-year-old Roman general Titus (son of Vespasian), but Christ also condemned all further Hebrew temple worship forever.

Under the Arms Export Control Act, the U.S. may not provide foreign aid to countries outside the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) absent waivers and sanctions. Despite Israel’s status outside the NPT congress passes multi-billion dollar aid packages every year, which the president signs into law. Transcript follows: CH = Chuck Schumer, SH = Sam Husseini
    ————————————————-
under the Symington Amendment to the Foreign Appropriations Act and the Glenn Act, it is illegal for the US Government to send our tax money to any nation in possession of nuclear weapons technology that refuses to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty or allow IAEA inspections.
Symington Amendment: Since 1976, every single penny of “aid” to Israel money has been illegal; a crime committed by the US Government against the American people. all that money the US sends to Israel is a CRIME AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
    ————————————————–
The World should insist Israel live by the standards Israel demands of others. Be judged as Ye judge others. If Israel wants to be recognized, Israel must recognize the EQUALITY and HUMANITY of ALL People. Quit calling NON-Jews SHISKA, GOYIM, GENTILE. If Israel wants Hamas to ‘repudiate’ their charter, Israel must REPUDIATE their manual of hate, the TORAH, which openly proclaims that all ‘gentiles’ should be ‘Hewers of wood, and bearers of water’ …….. for Israel.
Israel must recognize the Native People’s RIGHT to a Palestinian state.
Israel REFUSES to sign the Non Proliferation Treaty or open It’s NUKES to inspection, Israel should have the exact same sanctions that were put on Iran
