Sputnik International reports:
The elite Iranian Revolutionary Guard verified the death of Daesh mastermind Abu Bakr al-Bagdhadi “through multiple channels,” a representative said Thursday.
Ali Shirazi, a top Iranian cleric, told Asr-e Iran News Agency there is “no doubt” Baghdadi is deceased. Irib, Iranian media outlet, has posted photos of Baghdadi’s dead body. The man’s face resembles Baghdadi extremely closely. Sputnik has learned that the photo is from 2015 and is actually a fake.
Reports have circulated for weeks that a Russian sortie may have eliminated al-Baghdadi during an airstrike on a suburb south of Raqqa, Syria.
“It is highly likely that Daesh leader al-Baghdadi was eliminated as a result of a Russian Aerospace Forces strike on the terrorists’ command post in the southern suburb of the city of Raqqa in late May this year,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov told Sputnik last week.Counterterrorism sources have noticed increased conflict within the ranks of Daesh over its top leadership spot, which analysts interpret as a signal that al-Baghdadi has been killed, Russian lawmaker Alexei Pushkov told Sputnik on June 29. “If he were alive, then as a demonstration of power and as a means of increasing war morale, a refutation would have already been announced,” Pushkov added.
On June 11, US officials told Voice of America they could not confirm that al-Baghdadi was killed in the strike. The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation on June 29.
According to Islamabad-based analyst Nauman Sadiq, “It is not in Washington’s interests right now to confirm the deaths of the Islamic State’s top leaders even if it has received credible reports of their deaths because the US troops and affiliated local militias have mounted offensives against the Islamic State’s strongholds of Mosul and Raqqa which have caused colossal loss of human lives.”
Al-Baghdadi gained worldwide notoriety for declaring a new caliphate in the Middle East in 2014. The al-Nuri mosque in Mosul, Iraq, where he proclaimed the caliphate, was liberated by Iraqi security forces on June 29, according to the Independent.”It’s now undeniable that reduced external support for the ‘
rebels‘ was a critical turning point for really crushing ISIS,”
said Max Abrahms, a political science professor at Northeastern University and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
It’s always frustrating not to have a body to prove death. So we have had to wait for time to pass. I accept that enough time has passed that if al-Baghdadi were alive this word would have spread throughout the fighters. And it has not.
The mosque at which al-Baghdadi proclaimed the Caliphate has now been liberated from the possession of ISIS, and the man who proclaimed it is presumed dead.
We are free to claim now that there is no Caliphate. The burden would now be on ISIS to prove that there is. But the moment in history for this now seems over.
People do not understand, Zion’s key Intel projects like “Charles Manson”, “Osama Bin-Laden”, “Aleister Crowley”, “John Dee”, “John Lennon”, “Jack the Ripper”, “Elvis the Pelvis” and of course “Al-Bagdhadi” are large-scale operations involving a staff of dozens if not hundreds of agents.
One Osama actor may look good on camera, while another one has a voice that scares little children. Combining the two is considered a stroke of genius, and often rewarded with a Nobel prize or something, going to one of the key Intel assets, like recently with Bob Dylan or not too long ago with Born-in-Kenia Obama.
Sputnik, like RT and even SouthFront, has been featuring too much Zionist swamp news.
I see, through the muddy waters, that you are a Noble Seeker After Truth!
Canthama updates via SyrPer:
SCO.
“… Would add that the SCO has been very active in Eurasian matters in the past 12 months, the US regime just lost Pakistan (they completely shifted toward China-Russia sphere of influence), and soon will be completely kicked out of Afghanistan.
That said, the US/UK lost their Eurasian pivot.
Central Asian countries have helped Turkey to shift directions and follow some sort of alignment with the SCO.
In a matter of 1-2 years we will see the US/UK/France losing a lot of influence in the TMENA region.
The US has very few options in hand, either continue to find proxy wars around, but now it is clear that every attempt will mean more strategic losses, a kind of downwards trend, unstoppable.
Worth noting always, the US military power can only be fuelled by their immense printing machine, printing fiat money, break this system and the military power is gone in no time, this evil system is oiled by fiat money.
It is all coming together, in few years the whole global map of influence will another one. One thing that Russia and China are desperately trying to do is to avoid a large scale war, they know they can win but it would be chaos for a long time, so better do it by avoiding a direct fight and buying time to the evil forces to hang themselves.”
Al-Tanf.
“… I do not buy the US regime terrorists are leaving SE Syria that fast, they are holding a large nbr of SAA and allies there, this is what their purpose is all about, since al Tanf has been a bluff since day 1.
We will need more info on this “shipping” moderats to al Shadaddi, though it clearly makes a lot of sense on the continuity of disrupting Syria, it does not make sense in regards to local arab tribes in Hasaka, mostly pro Syrian Government even under SDF.
One of the most secret info right now in Syria is where the Tiger Forces are heading to, they are lightly present in Resafa-Ithriyah road battle, as they are lightly present in northeastern Hama as well, small group to advise ordinary SAA and NDF troops. There is no advance east of Resafa for weeks now.
There is a high probability of a future game changer with the Tiger Forces in sight, but no info yet.”
T2, Iranian Involvement, Deir Ezzor.
“… Peto’s map rocks. Hamaymah was liberated few days ago, only now the MoD is leaking the info, so thus T2 and nearby villages, all liberated but yet to be announced during the week as per a previous post I made few days ago, we will hear very soon more news from the desert, by the way, Iran is invested deeply on this frontline, significant presence with armoured vehicles, drones, personnel, as if Iran is using this battle for on the job training for a future war.
The fight has shifted toward the control of the many dirty roads north of T3-T2, this fight has a fundamental importance to control as many roads, place strong defenses on them and protect the flanks for a blitzkrieg toward Der ez Zor, the count down to Der ez Zoe is own already. I could not believe on the recent news but it is clear that we may see a link with Der ez Zor city as soon as July.
This event will be so disruptive to ISIS due to being isolated in so many pockets within Syria and Iraq that ISIS leadership knows they will end 2017 with minimum to zero held areas in Syria and Iraq, a massive disruption from their pick size in January 2016.”

US suppling ISIS.
“… 7 US helicopters landed in ISIS controlled areas in Hawija south of Kirkuk, near Peshmerga positions & after an hour headed toward Erbil.”

It has happened many times in al Qaim and al Bukamal, but never caught on camera….until now.”

al Baghdadi was created for the American audience.
The reality is the radical Islamic ideology fed the fanaticism, along with Meth, not his leadership.
He certainly was not a commander-in-chief. The war was controlled by CIA officers and Special Operations-Pentagon chiefs working with ex-Republican Guard Iraqi leaders.
He symbolized the Caliphate, but was he ever leader at the Caliphate? He seemed to be in Mosul all the time until recently. And rumors of him being injured have persisted for several years.
The entirety of ISIS, a very real and strong army of bandits and psychopaths, is a creation of nation-states, financed, armed, directed and defended by several militaries supposedly fighting against it. It is the most successful proxy of the ME, absorbing its rivals in AQ and winning until Russia entered the war.
The leader is probably gone. The “army” is obviously broken. But we see the moves by Israel, Turkey, US, Saudi Arabia and Jordan to use it as an insurgency to keep Syria in turmoil, to keep Iraq roiled in death and destruction and to assure the perpetual presence of the Hegemon. CENTCOM will sustain the insurgents. Arms, ammunition, heavy equipment, specialized weapons will “fall” into the hands of these insurgents.
ISIS is morphing. The death of the leader is meaningless.
al Nusra, in its several names and uses, is the heart of the new insurgency. This is the very reptilian core of the Israeli-CIA creation. In Idlib and Daraa, it must become the final cauldrons. They will determine the northern border with Turkey and the southwestern corner with Israel and Jordan. In both zones there are thousands of “moderate” fighters. Russia has tried to separate them. That will take more time and incentives. In both zones, there are thousands of al Nusra. In both zones are tens of thousands, probably hundred of thousands of civilians. The fighters’ families are there. Part of the strategy of reconciliation is to turn the moderates into forces for the government.
At some point, the connective umbilical with Israel and US to al Nusra will have to be completely destroyed. Either Putin will get this done or the RF military with bombers and missiles will sever this connection. The collateral damage will take out the “handlers”. Hezbollah will be the decisive force for finishing off al Nusra as an insurgency. Like the Chechens under Kadyrov finished off the Wahhabis and ended the war in Chechnya. We should expect a year or so of this insurgency and counter-insurgency. The snake is still dangerous even with its head severed from its body.
Turkey’s sponsorship in the north depends on the Kurdish situation. If Russia can fashion a Kurdish province comfortably distant from the Turkish border, Turkey will turn on its proxies and assist in the slaughter of al Nusra. Putin will be the decider.
The war is won, the war is over is true but untrue. The Caliphate is broken. ISIS exists and persists. And in Syria the war morphs with al Nusra the last hope of the Hegemon and its allied criminal nations. After all, Iran exists and that is the true target of Syria-Iraq wars. Russia saved Iran when it saved Syria. That was the unnoticed mission. Along the way, it also saved Turkey, not just Erdogan.
Perhaps when ISIS finally stops morphing it will be found sitting at its former desks in Langley and Tal Habib.
That is a very important head to mount iver the fireplace – great work by targeters, bombers, and intel agents all!
What about some DNA to establish once and for all whether this guy is Jewish?
And some dental records.
Katherine
The background story on him is fairly clear he is Iraqi.
DNA requires access to the bombing site. That seems to be a problem.
And you would need a sample of his DNA for the match, or his family DNA (which may be possible). But the scene of the death may not be in Syrian hands yet.

There appears to be some similarity, but the live and dead images were taken at widely different angles.
DNA testing would require knowledge of and access to living relatives. That would require knowledge of his real identity.
Not him. Completely different nose, nostrils. Immediately, it isn’t him.
And it was proven false two years ago.
“On June 11, US officials told Voice of America they could not confirm that al-Baghdadi was killed in the strike.” Judging by their black armbands and running mascara, the entire USSD and political Washedupington, as well as official Tal Habib were in mourning.
