This column was written for the Unz Review: http://www.unz.com/tsaker/is-donald-trump-really-only-a-showman-who-will-prepare-the-usa-for-war/
Let me begin by immediately say that I have the utmost respect for F. William Engdahl and that I consider him a person far more knowledgeable of US politics than myself. Furthermore, I want to also make it clear that I am not going to refute a single argument Engdahl makes in support of his thesis simply because I believe that his arguments are fact-based and logical. I strongly urge everybody to read Engdahl’s article “The Dangerous Deception Called The Trump Presidency” in the New Eastern Outlook and carefully consider each of his arguments. Of course, Engdahl only offers indirect, circumstantial, evidence and only time will really show whether he is right or wrong. What I propose to do today is to consider the other possibility, that in spite of all the evidence presented by Engdahl, Trump might not be a fraud and a showman. You will see that this conclusion is not necessarily more optimistic than Engdahl’s.
My main argument is much more primitive than Engdahl’s and even more circumstantial: I see clear signs of a *real* struggle taking place inside the US elites and if, indeed, such a struggle is taking place, then I conclude that Trump is not a showman who has been “selected” (to use Engdahl’s words) by the US elites but that quite to the contrary, his election is a nightmare for these elites.
My subsidiary argument is that even if Engdahl is right and if Trump is a showman, the ploy of the US elites to save the Empire and prepare for war will fail.
Let’s take them one by one:
The reality of the struggle inside the US elites
Frankly, I don’t believe that the imperial “deep state” was so devious and sophisticated to order the mainstream media to organize a year-long hate campaign against Trump because the “deep state” has calculated that only such a demonization of Trump would make him popular and get him elected. Why? I just don’t believe that the US propaganda machine is that flexible. You look at freaks like Rachel Maddows or Martha Raddatz and you can tell that they are for real, in the sense that they were never hired to parrot a specific political line but they were hired because they are the living embodiment of a specific political line. And that goes for 90% of the Trump-bashing media. Yeah, maybe some are cynical presstitutes, but most of them come from what I would call the “tribe of assorted minorities” which viscerally hates everything Trump stands for. Their hate is sincere, it is pure, it comes from their very identity.
Likewise, when I look at the fawning in lockstep before Hillary which the mainstream media carefully nurtured I can only conclude that this is the logical outcome of decades of brainwashing by the liberal propaganda machine. This machine was built around hating the “common” American, the “deplorables” in Hillary’s parlance, and this machine could not do anything but to worship her 24/7.
I am therefore convinced that Donald Trump got elected in spite of, and not thanks to, the “Patriarchy of loveless old men like David Rockefeller or George Herbert Walker Bush“. Furthermore, when I see the desperate efforts by Soros & Co to organize some kind of “color revolution” against Trump under the slogan “not my president” and the efforts by, again, Soros & Co. to get Jill Stein to get a recount only in the states were Trump won, I come to the clear conclusion that the Neocons have still not accepted their defeat and that they are still trying to prevent Trump from occupying the White House. In contrast, Engdahl writes that,
We should not imagine for one second that the Patriarchy– those loveless old men like David Rockefeller or George Herbert Walker Bush or unnamed others– were so overwhelmed by the political genius of candidate Trump emerging from every scandal more powerful than before, that they were surprised, out-foxed, and just groaned and let it happen. The Trump Presidency has been planned in minute detail by them and their think tanks
I don’t know about you, but I sure don’t get the feeling that what is taking place today is the result of something carefully planned. I fully agree that the US deep state did not just “groan and let hit happen“. But rather than letting it happen, I see the US deep state fighting against Trump with everything it has! I don’t think that the post-election anti-Trump hysteria has been planned by the likes of Rockefeller or Bush at all. What I see are the Neocons using every bit of “ammunition” they have to try to oppose and sabotage a Trump presidency.
Engdahl also brings some very strong arguments against the nomination of General Mike Flynn who not only is known for his rather crude anti-Islamic rhetoric, but who even co-authored a book with the notorious Neocon Michael Ledeen. That a man like Flynn could find no better co-author than Ledeen should set off “red alert” alarms in the minds of everybody who understands what Ledeen stands for and represents. And Flynn is most definitely one of the better people around Trump.
In fact, a closer look at the folks around Trump reveals a lot of Neocons, Israelis and Judaics and all in key positions. There is a definite Likudnik smell to a lot of the people Trump has surrounded himself with. But that argument could also be reversed – if indeed Trump is “securely surrounded” by doubleplusgoodthinking Zionists, why their big panic? Could it be that these doubleplusgoodthinking Zionists have some very strong concerns about what Trump might do as a President once he is in full control?
Last but most definitely not least: not only has Jill Stein been used to trigger a recount in some states, but there are now rumors that some Electors are now being pressured not to give their vote to Trump, as the law says they should. Whether true or not, this kind of rumors clearly indicate that the Neocons are willing to do anything and everything to prevent Trump from getting into the White House or, if that is impossible, to maximally weaken him even if that puts the entire country at risk.
Why do I say that?
Because events have a way of getting out of control which makes the kind of reckless doubling-down the Neocons are currently engaged in extremely dangerous. Of course, nobody currently expects the Electoral College to refuse to nominate Trump. But the unexpected seems to be happening a lot these days. So what if something like that happens? Or what if some states accept Trump’s victory, but others don’t? What if the “not my President” slogan really goes viral and infects the minds of many more people than right now? Or even worse, what if this absolutely irresponsible rhetoric ends up in violence with either protesters or Trump himself being shot? We know that the very same US deep state which organized and executed 9/11 also used snipers in Vilnius in 1991, in Moscow in 1991 and 1993 and in Kiev in 2014 to bring about an insurrection. There are also report that such snipers were used in Libya, Egypt and Syria. Is there any logical reason to think that this time around the deep state would not use such snipers *inside* the USA?
While it is possible that the current situation has been triggered by the US deep state, it is equally possible that the US deep state is losing control of the situation which might now be developing a momentum of its own. Would the US deep state really take such a risk just in order to put “Trump the showman” into the White House?
The plan
According to Engdahl, Donald Trump was put into office to,
prepare America for war, a war the banks of Wall Street and the US military industrial complex are not presently in a position economically or industrially or otherwise, geopolitically, to win. His job will be to reposition the United States for them to reverse the trend to disintegration of American global hegemony, to, as the Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz Project for the New American Century put it in their September, 2000 report, “rebuild America’s defenses.” To do that preparation, a deception strategy that will fatally weaken the developing deep bonds between Russia and China will be priority. It’s already begun. We have a friendly phone call from The Donald to Vladimir the Fearsome in Moscow. Russian media is euphoric about a new era in US-Russia relations after Obama. Then suddenly we hear the war-mongering NATO head, Stoltenberg, suddenly purr soothing words to Russia. Float the idea that California Congressman and Putin acquaintance, Dana Rohrabacher, is leaked as a possible Secretary of State. It’s classic Kissinger Balance of Power geopolitics–seem to ally with the weaker of two mortal enemies, Russia, to isolate the stronger, China. Presumably Vladimir Putin is not so naïve or stupid as to fall for it, but that is the plot of Trump’s handlers.
If that indeed the plan, then I fully agree with Engdahl – Putin is not so naive or stupid to fall for it. In fact, such a possibility has been discussed many times by Russian experts on various Russian talkshows and they all agree that while Russia will definitely tone down its criticism of the USA if Trump appears to be interested in collaborating with Russia, there is no chance in hell that Moscow would in any way let the Americans weaken or otherwise affect the unofficial but extremely strong strategic partnership between Russia and China. Besides, the USA have nothing very interesting to offer the Russians anyway. Why would the Russians spend any capital on a clearly dying Empire when they have an extremely beneficial alliance with a growing superpower? Does anybody in Washington DC really think that two decades of rabid russophobia have suddenly been forgotten or that anybody in Russia will ever trust a word coming out of an American politician’s mouth? For the past two years Russia has been scrambling to prepare for war against the USA and NATO. Now that the danger of President Hillary has almost certainly passed, yes – the Russians are delighted that a thermonuclear war has become unlikely. But they will never forget how close it came and they will most definitely not stop their preparations. At most, they will somewhat slow down some programs, but that’s it. Fundamentally Russia will continue her rapid pace of military development which, considering the situation in the Ukraine and in the Middle-East, is a sound decision regardless of what the Americans do or say.
I think I can very accurately predict what Russia will do during the next four years: Putin will meet with Trump and try to work out with him as many of the outstanding issues between the USA and Russia as possible (that is, assuming the Neocons around Trump don’t torpedo it all before it even starts!). If Trump wants a reasonable solution for Syria and the Ukraine, he will get it from the Russians. If Trump is serious about forcing the CIA & Co. to stop using al-Qaeda & Co., that is to say if Trump is serious about smashing Daesh, the Russians will help him too. And if Trump wants the Russians to help secure a deal for Israel and Palestine, or help mediate some deal with the DPRK – the Russians will oblige again. But what will not stop is the massive re-armament of the Russian armed forces and the Russian efforts to politically decouple the EU from the USA. These are strategic goals of Russia which will not be affected by the USA. Furthermore, even if during the next four years the USA spends X billion dollars on “defense”, Russia will spend far less but get much more than the USA. Why? Because the entire US military-industrial complex is corrupt to the bone and the US armed forces in an advanced state of decay.
Contrary to what some Russian (and non-Russian) hurray-patriots think, Russia is still much weaker than the USA, but she is catching up at a rate which the USA is simply not able to match, Trump or not Trump, so the power ratio of the USA to Russia in four years will be even more favorable to Russia than it is now. If the Neocons really think that they can somehow reverse or even significantly affect this trend they are wrong. The USA are going down and Russia is going up, and nothing can stop this process.
The strongest argument in favor of Engdahl’s thesis is this: while the Neocons have always been clever and very driven, they are not very bright and they can only see as far as the immediate short term. Furthermore, their truly infinite arrogance always brings them to the same solution when presented with a crisis: double down. And if that don’t work, double down again. And again. And again. This is why all their grand plans first kinda work, but then inevitably come crashing down, over and over again.
Right now, there is nothing more stupid and self-defeating the USA could do than to double down on all their failures, miscalculations and mistakes. The smart thing to do is what Trump promises to do: to change course, “drain the swamp” in DC and save the USA by giving up on the AngloZionist Empire. I hope that this is what the slogan “make America great again” means: make it great by dumping the Empire.
My gut-feeling is that Trump is at least partially sincere, how could we explain the current Neocon panic otherwise? They seem to know something which really is freaking them out. Might that be that Trump is serious about kicking their collective rear-end back down to the basement from which they crawled out?
This being said, please don’t conclude that I am any more optimistic than Engdahl. I am not. It’s just that my fear is different from his. He thinks that Trump is a fraud while I think that the Trump is unlikely to have the right combination of intelligence, willpower, courage, abnegation and patriotism to purge the USA from the Neocon rot. Simply put – I don’t think that Trump will be the “American Putin”. Furthermore, I think that the choice of Pence as VP is indicative a deeply misguided hope by Trump that he can appease the Neocons.
Finally, let’s try to make sense out of Trump’s absolutely bizarre and, frankly, irrational phobia of Iran. Is that not his attempt at throwing the Neocons a bone to chew on in the hope that they will let him be if he “gives” them Iran?
One thing is absolutely certain: if the Americans attack Iran, any rapprochement with Russia will immediately go down the tubes. There is no way Trump can get some kind of partnership with Russia while threatening Iran. Yet another contradiction in the putative Neocon plan.
God knows I hope that I am wrong. And, of course, I hope that Engdahl is wrong too. Miracles do happen and sometimes seemingly mediocre or hesitant individuals end up showing a strength and willpower which can change the course of history. But I think that Engdahl is asking the right questions and sounding the right warnings. While it is legitimate to hope for a miracle, one must never forget miracles happen very rarely and that it is far more likely that they will not happen.
The Saker
There’s a lot of leftist angst about Donald’s election and one gets the feeling that was what drove Engdahl to write his piece. I didn’t agree with it because there is no evidence that Trump had any establishment support at all, though I do subscribe to the theory that there is a schism in the deep state and there exists a faction within the power ministries who saw the current course, a course that would have been doubled down on by Hillary, as being obviously catastrophic. For example, when you see the CIA fighting the Army by proxy, that’s a powerful clue.
Anyway, I wanted to point out that a guy called Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert cartoon, has being accurately forecasting exactly what to expect of Trump for months in a series of short, well written posts.
I thought it worth pointing out because The Saker wonders aloud if Trump has what it takes to kick NeoCon butt and drain the swamp.
Here’s a link to what Adams thinks Trumps chances of succeeding against Washington are:
http://blog.dilbert.com/post/153775344216/the-trump-talent-stack
Also, I don’t think Pense is a NeoCon, though possibly he is a Christian Reconstructionist (look it up). Trump had to choose someone connected to the Christian Right in order to lock in the magical thinking vote.
Exactly right: Pence is a “Christian Reconstructionist” and according to him, Trump is not far behind:
“Donald Trump and I know that to confront these challenging times, we have to recognise that our present crisis is not merely economic and political, but moral in nature.”
“We will not restore this nation with public policy alone. It will require public virtue. And that emanates from the traditional institutions of our nation of family and religion. At the centre of all of our policies will be the notion of the importance and the paramount importance of the family, and also will be at the centre of our policies will be a commitment to ensure the vitality and the freedom of religion of every American and every religious institution in the land.”
http://www.christiantoday.com/article/mike.pence.says.faith.is.at.the.very.core.of.donald.trump/95187.htm
And according to him, Trump’s “core” is sound:
“I think at the very core, the very heart, of this good man is a faith. It’s a faith in God and a faith in the American people. And what I ask you to do today is to – is to work every day in what remains of this election to restore that kind of faith back to the centre of the American government. We can do it, but it’s not going to be done without you.” http://www.christianpost.com/news/mike-pence-to-values-voters-faith-is-at-the-very-core-of-donald-trump-169404/
Well, let’s see if anything comes out of this…
Step back, WAY back and look at the big picture… Trump tweets about reducing US interference in other countries, wanting to “talk” with Putin while simultaneously slagging China for “stealing” US jobs and wealth. For decades, US/EU-based corporations chose to move former US/EU production to China etc., no one forced them… but now “business-man” Trump blames China? Cute.
Trump is not nearly that “smart” or “clever” (other people’s words) if he thinks he can so crudely drive a wedge between Putin and Xi, and all the countries quickly shedding US-vassal-statehood.
The sooner Trump heeds Putin’s advice and learns to respect ALL other countries in the multi-polar world, the less likely the US will be reduced to a destitute pariah state. China and Russia and their allied countries could crash the US/EU Bilderberg/Davos economies in 10 minutes if they wished, but neither Putin nor Xi see much benefit in doing so. They are patient, but not endlessly.
Debating leaders’ labels (neo-con, Christian Reconstructionist, etc.) is a waste of zeros and ones.
Trump can tweet-rattle all the sabres he likes, Syria has proven the US has no military answer to Russia or China. Fiscally/economically, I dare the US to do an open audit of their Fed gold reserves, much less the reserves held in the US for other countries. I’d bet all that is there is a stack of IOU’s. Russia and China have both been buying and producing gold at record levels. It makes perfect sense to exchange high-US$ denominated toilet paper for literally tonnes of artificially-low-priced physical gold.
That said, Trump is marginally better than a continuation of the Clinton Crime Crowd, the Bush Banditos or even the Kennedy Klan. But only because he is equally hated and mistrusted by all who back those US aristocratic families, the Soros, Kock’s and Rothschilds’. How much better we will see… probably only measurable in the number/scale of wars, covert ops and nuclear warheads fired or not.
For decades, US-based corporations moved offshore because the system was systematically rigged to reward those that did and drive those that stayed into bankruptcy due to the impossibility of competing with lower-than-low wages and taxes abroad.
Follow the money trail.
The link to Scott Adams was a disappointment. Nothing in that piece speaks to how Trump will handle the neocons or the rest of the Washington establishment. This isn’t to disparage Scott Adams, who is often worth the time to read, and the linked piece was okay but totally off topic
No, but it does reveal Trump as someone who is capable of taking on the oligarchy, to use PCR’s term.
Dear The Saker,
Interestingly, Mr Trump seems to be saying the same things about stopping the toppling of regimes on his thank you tour:
http://russia-insider.com/en/politics/new-era-peace-trump-vows-stop-us-toppling-regimes-during-1st-stop-thank-you-tour/ri17960
Meanwhile the Congress is shoving every bill they can through to try and stop him reaching out to Russia before he is sworn in:
https://www.rt.com/usa/369073-us-ndaa-russia-cooperation/
https://sputniknews.com/us/201612011048036433-usa-house-panel-counter-russia/
@Beijing. Your first point is spot on and that’s where a lot of this angst is coming from — the delusions international leftists who, like doctrinaire U.S. liberatarians, are looking for anything to criticize Trump about.
Few know American politics like me and I can tell you the Saker’s instincts about Trump are better than Engdahl’s. You know a man by his political enemies and Trump’s enemies are everywhere.
Engdahl’s ‘leftist’ conjecture is no more rational than Mike Krieger’s all year saying the same thing from the anti-government libertarian ‘right’.
The rabbit hole simply isn’t that deep. Trump is going to be a mix of good and bad. No question. But, wasting time analyzing his ‘neocon’ street cred is worse than counter-productive.
The Saker is right. It does not matter what the neocon/anglozionist tag team does, it is too late and the global hegemon is going down, Trump or no Trump. Clinton would only have hastened the decline. The united multipolar forces ranged against the global hegemon and led by Russia and China, are just too strong and too powerful. However, the narcissistic globalists are too arrogant and hubristic to accept their grim fate. China’s One Belt One Road is going to merge with Russia’s Eurasian Economic Union and talks are already under way, Iran will soon join the SCO, China has already opened a direct route to the Indian ocean via Pakistan etc. WHAT can the Amerians do to offset that? The capacity simply isn’t there.
Scanfish, a multipolar world would be one of sovereign nations who control their own money supply– who are free of the Fed/IMF system which permits most of them including Russia to expand their own money supply only in an amount equal to the dollars they’ve earned thru export. The resulting race for excessive, unnatural trade puts fulfillment of home market needs last and compels labor everywhere to compete w one another.
International institutions like the Fed/IMF system, World Bank & WTO comprise a global oligarchy which is a part of the UN system. The UN, controlled by the Rockefellers & others fails in its mandate to prevent war, but certifies Agenda 21 and Agenda 30 for the oligarchs, agendas which are being quietly put into place and which control our lives in minute detail.
Any “multipolar” system which leaves these institutions in place is merely the decentralized administration of the global oligarchy, exactly as planned. US hegemony has never been intended to be permanent. The US is to be weakened and dismembered when it’s purpose is served. The dollar must collapse to bring in the global currency– the SDR for the big traders, and digital currency for the masses, who will not be allowed to save and so will be totally dependent upon the Global State. Whether it is called fascist or communist is not of the least importance to Soros & the rest of them.
… even the avoidance of an open conflict with Russia becomes more and more doubtful under Trump presidency. Pay attention to the new signals sent by Romney. He said that he had with Trump a “far reaching conversation with regards to the various theaters in the world where there are interests of the United States of real significance.”
http://bit.ly/2gr6719
Yes, but who cares what Romney, Dubya, or Jebya say? These miserable Nazi clowns didn’t win the election by way of a popular uprising of American patriots, which was actually exactly aimed against this very Nazism/neocon-Bolshevism as presented by Bush/Ziobama/Hitlery..
I don’t think that Trump can undo more than 100 years of the latter (since 1913, Wilson/Fed) – and the stupidity and ignorance among US Americans, that comes with that – all at once, either, but he actually achieved a lot already.
As for Engdahl, one should always give the benefit of the doubt to the utmost extent, so maybe Engdahl is hypnotized by the whole monstrous fraud (the Western system), but I doubt it. He certainly has the wrong associates (e.g. “Veterans Today”), which are beyond a shadow of a doubt, monstrous frauds – traitors of the worst kind – themselves.
They’ve perfectly proven that during the Oregon standoff, and the cowardly ambush, brutal assassination of American patriot, and Arizona rancher Robert LaVoy Finicum.
Trump selected a few good guys, one bad, and a few neutral.
Flynn, Bannon and Sessions are really great.
“Engdahl also brings some very strong arguments against the nomination of General Mike Flynn who not only is known for his rather crude anti-Islamic rhetoric, ”
-That is really standard for all anti-establishment figures and parties in the western world.
And yet Thierry Meyssan rates him…
Hmmm.
Thierrey Meyssan, whom I greatly respect from reading voltairenet.org for years, has a very favorable view of Flynn. He says Flynn studied Islam for 15 years and is “tolerant” of Islam. More to the point, Meyssan says that in August 2012, Flynn tried to stop US support of the terrorists. To quote:
“The clash between Michael Flynn on one hand and Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the other occurred in August 2012, during the circulation of a secret note concerning the jihadists in the Levant. In the part of the docupment which had been declassified, he observed that the jihadists were at war with the Syrian Arab Republic, and were supported by the tribal populations who lived in an area straddling Syria and Iraq. This situation could lead to the creation of an emirate in North-East Syria, which would correspond to the strategic interests of their sponsors – Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. He explained that he had written this document – just after the France re-launched the war against Syria – in an attempt to oppose the support by the Obama administration for the creation of Daesh.”
http://www.voltairenet.org/article194153.html
Yes.
I wonder if he was one of the analysts who warned against the consequences for Christians – particularly Syrian – if the regime-changing in Syria went ahead.
Wish I had a link for it.
“One thing is absolutely certain: if the Americans attack Iran, any rapprochement with Russia will immediately go down the tubes. There is no way Trump can get some kind of partnership with Russia while threatening Iran. Yet another contradiction in the putative Neocon plan.”
-That doesn’t really seem to be true, Putin responsibility is the welfare of his people not the Iranian people. Russia has already thrown Iran under the buss several times before to make friendlies with USA. When Russia refused to sell S-300 missiles and when Russia agree to sanctiions against Iran.
Basically Russia has F* over Iran so many times for USA sake, it is almost getting funny. And if Trump says “Let us have Iran and we will give you Ukraine” I am sure Russia will throw Iran off a cliff again, and if they didnt, they would be irresponsible, as I said, Russia’s duty is to Russia not to Iran.
I don’t agree with your conclusion at all.
The facts are right but the world just changed.
….and the Chinese maybe interested in the Iranian energy.
And they are playing together.
Calm down and trust the new future!
China had many business interests in Libya as well:
http://thediplomat.com/2012/03/chinas-libya-problem/
That didn’t deter the West from destroying the country.
The Eastern powers cannot back up any further.
That’s the meaning in their stand in Syria against the US and its Anglosphere and EU vassals.
The defeat of Iran by the West is more dangerous to Russia and China than Ukraine.
Nothing is more dangerous then Ukraine, Ukraine is the red line, Russia cannot back further then that. If Ukraine becomes a NATO military base, they will place ABM on the border, these ABMs will be able to shoot down Russian ICBMS fired from behind the urals, which will make a nuclear war something USA can win.
Iran, Iran is not so important really, infact, the destruction of Iran would probably skyrocket oil-prices and make Russia very rich for a few years. Iran would also not be defeated by a USA attack, nor could USA win a war of occupation against Iran. If USA attacked Iran, USA would be defeated, there is no way for victory for US in that scenario, US would be internationally embarrassed, economically ruined, demoralized.
Iran could be the external enemy that brings USA down if USA would attack. I mean, USA is still fighting peasnts in the mountains of Afghanistan, do you really think they would stand a chance against a country with 4 times as large population, which is industralized and semi-advance?
Picture Iran with no Tehran, no airports, no airfields and no ports.
That is what the US would do in day one. They would decapitate Iran.
They would not fight a war there. For what purpose?
The threat from US/NATO is always decapitation.
Looking at Yugoslavia and 79 days and nights of bombing.
Look at Iraq. Look at Libya. Look at Yemen.
The mistake in Syria was thinking Assad was what the Khazarians thought him to be—unloved by the various minorities and religions and groups who in reality valued him for protecting them.
After Libya, the UNSC was no longer a path of aerial attack. So,Syria and Assad became a war of unleashed terror.
Iran would be missiled and bombed. And after a week, it would be a century behind where it is today. That’s the war plan if they enact such a war crime.
“Picture Iran with no Tehran, no airports, no airfields and no ports … it would be a century behind where it is today” thats just, just so wonderful!
Then the Muslims in Iran would be living just like the Prophet Mohamed did, in a tent with no air conditioning, the Muslim fundamentalists there would think they are in heaven already.
Yes the US can bomb Iran to smithereens, but the Iranians won’t care. It would just give them an opportunity to borrow some Russian and Chinese cruise missiles to reduce Saudi Arabia to a similar state, after which the Houthis in Yemen could cross the border and really make the Saudis pay for their delusions. Maybe Iran has homemade cruise missiles capable of crossing the small Persian Gulf and accurately hitting Saudi targets (all the Saudi oil installations are on the east coast close to Iran, and the whole Saudi east coast is Shia Muslim and not Sunni Muslim). Maybe China wants an opportunity to test out its own cruise missiles and is willing to send Iran an unlimited amount. Maybe Iran does have nuclear weapons. Who knows what is possible.
Of course, should either US or Israeli boots on the ground appear in Mecca or Medina to protect the Saudis then its WWW3, because every Muslim on this planet would have to go on jihad to rescue their Holy Land from the Infidels. A story could easily spread of a nice normal low IQ American GI or an Israeli urinating against that rock in Mecca, maybe photos of that could appear on social media. Pakistan is Muslim and Pakistan has nukes.
Apparently the terrain in Iran is as similarly hostile to invading forces as the terrain in Houthi Yemen, so all that can be done is bombing from above.
“Picture Iran with no Tehran, no airports, no airfields and no ports … it would be a century behind where it is today”
The ambition of the Zionist strategists is to bring about exactly this result, leaving Israel a first-world country surrounded by third-world neighbors incapable of resisting and easily dominated.
I expect Putin and his team understand that Russia does not exist in the world alone, especially without the US and EU as powers, and if they are allowed to smother or destroy Iran it will work out no better than with Iraq, Libya, Syria and the rest of them, but that the international system and law must become sustainable (hence, for example, Putin talking about the even non-functional UN as being needed — and restored as a world forum).
I suspect Trump may have some understanding of this as well, and is why he talks about ending nation building and war. All it takes is a little step up from the current US myopic vision of domination to see how unipolar can’t be sustained.
you’re talking about Yeltsin/ Gorby; whole different breed of cats.
Mr. Trump has a clear vision and knows exactly what he wants.
He wants other nations to “act right”. To behave.
If Iran and Syria quit “behaving badly” then Mr. Trump sees no need for “regime change”. Unlike the trigger-happy moron Hillary Clinton or the clueless Barack Obama, Mr. Trump has a strong aversion to starting wars.
The danger is that Trump has popular backing but does not have his own political constituency or faction from which he can bargain.
This means that he is vulnerable to any political grouping that can coerce him without the group having to take any responsibility.
Trump wants to make nice with Russia. But what he left said unsaid was “…on my terms”.
I can imagine a scenario where Trump decides to “give in” on Syria, makes unilateral removal of some of the armament/troop placements on Russian borders plus sundry other “concessions” and then tries to get Russia on some critical issues where he knows Russians cannot-will not compromise.
This allows him to present Russia as the unreasonable side and enables him to build the internal political support for a military confrontation with Russia. Internal political support is what is lacking for the US to take decisive action- in Syria or Russia or anywhere else. With Trump this aspect becomes easier.
Hilary would have been easier too deal with. She would have jumped into a confrontation with a fractured home political support which would have hampered her in taking decisive steps and would have forced her to compromise.
Hope I am wrong.
One thing is for sure. The next 4 years will show how the Empire will end- with a bang or with a whimper.
The wild card aspect of Trump is that he has consistently made remarks about “our so-called allies” over the decades. He clearly holds a long running opinion that America’s “so called allies” have been taking advantage of their relationship with the U.S. And he has made multiple statements, going back to at least the 80’s, about how he would like to rectify that.
That seems to be the main thing that has driven his growing desire to be president over the past few decades.
I would guess that counties like Britain, Germany and Japan should expect to find a new set of rules in regards to how the United States will interact with them in business, trade and military.
Every thing else he does would seemingly be filtered through that lens. So if NATO(or Japan, etc,) wants to invade or fight some country they can expect U.S. support, only if the U.S. involvement is minimal and Europe (or Japan, etc) reimburses America for it’s expenditures, plus interest!
That will certainly alter the geopolitical reality substantially.
I refer readers to Klein’s “Shock Doctrine” to understand the various ways the Disaster Capitalists have been known to operate. Obviously the various “deep states/Disaster Capitalists” (I don’t get the feeling the Rothschilds have much use for Soros’ or the Koch Bros’ manipulations) prefer to engineer the events which force public perceptions and reactions in their favour, but they are equally inclined and capable to seize upon any micro/macro disruption to tip the scales to their preference. Opportunism is the hallmark of nascent capitalists, tangible macro manipulation only comes after a powerbase is established. Trump, Brexit, compounded by the Putin/Xi-led international cooperation have complicated the 0.001% lock on standardized control via the established Disaster Capitalist powerbases. This is a multi-generational project, as evidenced by Baron Nathan Mayer Rothschild saying in the late 1700’s, “I care not what puppet is placed on the throne of England to rule the Empire, … The man that controls Britain’s money supply controls the British Empire. And I control the money supply.”
Simply substitute US President and Federal Reserve or Prime Minister and Bank of Canada and you have your answers. Trump’s cabinet/post selections of known swamp creatures shows he either is a swamp creature himself (and knows it), so not really inclined to drain said swamp, or is powerless to avoid doing as the swamp masters demand. After 1 year Trudeau has revealed his swamp creature allegiance (compliance?), continuing to play US/NATO toady in Iraq, Ukraine and Latvia, plus the same assorted CETA/Saudi-Zionist/pipeline/tar-crap corporate BS as Harper. Nicer selfies tho’, but betting we still pay too much for his haircuts.
The 0.001% collectively realize they must turn Trump’s erratic inexperience to their advantage, so adding to the chaos is their most likely course of action. Hence the recounts and “protests” to keep the public focused on their WMD’s (weapons of mass distraction) rather than allowing the Toto alternative media from showing the humbug elite wizards behind the curtain wearing no imperial clothes. Where the 0.001% part ways is which of them gets to steal more from the 99.99%.
Rothschild said so only after he had become the most powerful banker in England, right after the battle at Waterloo. Interesting history, look it up.
Well, such a smart a**h*le probably knows, when he can afford to openly spit in the face of the deplorables without fearing the consequences. I tend to believe, that these 0.01% creatures have joy to spin the game further & further for the pure entertainment of “how far can we go with this?” (9/11, non-US citizen alien as a president etc.)
Given the people Donald Trump engages for his cabinet, it must be the cynical scenario at play if he is serious about his core election promises.
In the cynical scenario he hires the most despicable shit lords to tighten their thumb screws once in the oval office. However, it will be extremely difficult to stay clear of deception by his staff for making this approach a success. Hence, I doubt that the swamp will be drained.
To the recruiting swamp creature critics:
I think you should consider that it is only swamp creatures who understand the nuts-&-bolts of how the system really operates — how to get things done. Without detailed mastery of policies, procedures, structure &c. he would be Don Quixote tilting at windmills, easily neutralized by policy wonks able to frustrate him through bureaucratic fine print. If he wants to be effective he has no choice but to recruit competent insiders who are also reasonable people. It is no different from a startup airline recruiting experienced pilots and mechanics. The full text (if you can find it) of the highly detailed questionnaire his team sent to the DOE — the work of an experienced, expert auditor — shows his understanding of this and intention to “hit the ground running” : to rule as well as reign, losing no time learning the job.
well, maybe Engdahl can be right…. just see the next US Secretary of Defense quick profile published by Sputnik:
https://sputniknews.com/us/201612021048100535-james-mattis-defense-secretary/
Apparently he said one thing and the opposite about Russia. He’s been invited in Moscow pre election and I’ve seen him defending cooperation with Russia on national TV pretty fiercely as of late.
Miracles can also be the most plausible chain of events if we had the right analysis. Trump being elected is one exemple. The prediction made in various places may paint it as a miracle, but we’ve been quite a lot seing it coming. Donbass defeating two Ukrainian overwhelming massive assault with what was seemed vastly inferior forces also looked like a miracle. Or western opinion not being moved to warmongering when hundreds of kids body were shot and announced as Hassad’s fault.
I am not saying that I sew all of those “miracles” coming – I didn’t, I actually thought it was pretty miraculous when it happened. Still, in retrospect, you realize all of those things didn’t happen as much by chance that a combination of factor that while difficult to assess were nonetheless existing.
Media Bullying of Trump would imply “shy trump voters”. Disregarded factors (in that case, easy to forsee for some, like french voters used to this with decades of FN demonized in the media)
Donbass resistance happened because of the huge gap in soldier’s motivation, corruption in the disastrous ukrain army, war run by politics rather than military and amount of volunteers – nothing here that couldn’t be forecasted by history digging, where ppl defending their land tends to always win on the long run, and more often than not also in short term.
Media fatigue to Syrian’s horror could also be well predicted by cognitive scientists. The part where Obama really didn’t want to buy it was in itself unexpected, but again, is that a miracle or has the constant deception of politics and MSM blinded us to the facts that politics are still individual who are likely to have still one or more focus point they try to preserve in the middle of all the other times when they have to give in to oligarchic pressure ?
My filter is now this:
– M. Trump is giving up the empire he has personally build to do a things he’s speaking and thinking about for at least 3 decades with a striking consistency. You can expect the man to have a plan and an inhuman drive to get it done. A 70 yo man father of a 10 yo doing this isn’t here to fool around.
– His approach doesn’t care about looking large (get everyone on board) but is focused on building up on what works – typical business thinking where too much cover and not enough sales can kill you real fast. Not saying it’s good or bad, just describing his expressed process so far.
– I expect him to try to work on US edge in a multilateral world and emulate somehow how Germany keeps a big influence in regard of its size. Basically being a country where things tends to work and happen more than everywhere. This will include boosting inner market, actually still helping innovation (he’s the twitter president, tells a lot about his ability to assess the potential of technology) despite SV spitting on his face.
– I think he’ll really have to be a hell of a deal maker to keep up getting money from other countries with the USA being less and less the big bad wolf you have to constantly be afraid of. Weapon sales will take a huge hit and that will have a spectacular impact on jobs. For this thing still to exist Trump will have to drain the deep deep swamp of the weapon industry.
There’s a chance the oligarchy accept his presidency because they may know that things went south on the previous plan and that they actually need a reshaping of everything. Sure Trump’s one will not be entirely to their liking but it may be simpler to let him shakes a bit of everything and adjust things the way they want it once he’s away.
I too have enormous respect for F. William Engdahl. I have read 3 of his books – that are brilliant, and I even agree with him “that petroleum is not biological in origin” and that global warming, like peak oil, is merely a “scare” and a “thinly veiled attempt to misuse climate to argue for a new Malthusian reduction of living standards for the majority of the world while a tiny elite gains more power.”
However, I think and hope that he may be wrong now, and may simply be extrapolating history. His book “A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order.” really changed some of my views, as most of my limited knowledge of history was very much based on my indoctrination in England. (incidentally – visiting Dublin – completely changed my view of Irish history – for similar reasons).
Extrapolation, however is a dangerous game, because real life is never like that over the long term. House prices for example do not continue to climb exponentially in real terms. The bubbles burst.
The USA internally is in a bad way, largely because of economic and military policies over the last 50 years. Fighting wars continually is extremely detrimental – not just to the people involved in those wars, but also to the people building war machines to kill others, rather than doing something useful, creative, valuable and pleasurable to the existence of human life – like building infrastructure, cleaning up the toilet, and developing technology that will provide clean useful safe energy (eg thorium reactors using dismantled nuclear weapons and waste as energy source). Why blow up the world, when you can use all this energy to improve life and the environment?
Many people I know in England have visited, and even lived in the USA, and been completely shocked at how awful life is for a very large percentage of Americans.
The USA, urgently needs fixing. If there isn’t real progress soon, the USA will implode. There is absolutely no point in the USA fighting all these wars. It just exhausts, impoverishes and dehumanizes Americans – as well as all of America’s victims. They never presented any threat to America – and still don’t.
I hope The Saker is more right than Engdahl, and I am sure Engdahl does too.
The USA is not threatened by anyone, except those that have infiltrated its centres of power.
Leaders can make a difference. They are not all puppets. Ask the Russians.

@ Tony
Is that you really? If yes, you can write amazing and serious good stuff too! Quite a change from the usual domestic but entertaining snippets from Oldham, which I enjoyed reading … having a soft spot for that town. Cheers .
WHAT IF
What if some of the Jews that Trump has his children married to do not consider themselves a chosen group above the rest of us and don’t look down on the rest of us as goys. What if they realize that 90% of themselves are gentile Turkic Mongol Khazarians and not of the tribe of Judah at all.
What if some of the neocons realized that they were wrong about their wars.
What if some of the bankers realized that what they were doing was wrong.
What if they have made a secret pact among themselves including Donald Trump years ago to save the nation and the world. They would have to get their people in the positions of power pretending to be the devil’s friends before they could spring their trap and get just the right person in the presidency.
And what if people like Putin and Jinping are in this group.
YES INDEED! WHAT IF.
@ Dogwood Tree
Too many big ifs, I’m afraid, especially the conversion of the Chosen Tribe, however real or fake its pedigree, to the rules of decency and civilized behaviour, especially now when they control the levers of power in Natoland.
Engdahl surprised me with his revelations of the deep state and zionist stacking happening under DT’s cabinet formation. I for one was hoping for a shake up of the entrenched US war mongering tradition. The TPTB are powerful but not prescient enough to have planted Trump right from the start. They backed the wrong horse and are now in damage control to still influence the Trump government. You are going to see the war machine doing a tactical retreat from ME and EEurope. They overextended and lost precious political capital in the world. The focus now will probably be to build up strength in the military again, cut their loses in certain campaigns (Syria for one), detente in Iran and Ukraine for now, and a need to re-colonize those upitty nations who have strayed from the flock such as the Philippines AND CUBA! I predict Trump would love to see Trump Towers and Casinos in Cuba as well as supporting the Mob’s return.
Pardon my rant but…..this whole Donald Trump meme about poor US paying for everybody’s security is BS! Nato is a US tool. If they want to keep using it to bomb “brown people” they can keep paying for the privelidge. It gives the US an international facade in it’s hegemonic wars. To most other members it is a burden that drags them into poorly thought out conflicts and another layer of bureaucracy. As for being the “policeman” of the world….if that’s true they’re the “corrupt cop”.
Unfortunately it’s that BS that the Great American Public – those who even know it exists – believes.
The fact that NATO roaches are scuttling out to the media and demanding defense spending to be increased, as well as alarums at Trump’s pronouncements, suggests that they are pretty worried the gravy train is getting a haircut.
No doubt the cabals – Atlantic Council, Bilderbergers etc are equally worried that their expensive mercenary outfit is losing status and money: they could lose fortunes, and worse, have no ‘security’ worth boasting about if the Trump Doctrine goes ahead.
@ Eimar
Indeed, the often repeated fallacy that the US is protecting Europe is bullshit of the high order. And as to paying for European adventures, it’s laughable. The first secretary-general of Nato, Lord Ismay, put it succinctly: “To keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the Germans down”.
Besides, there is the huge financial benefits of selling weaponry to Natoland under the guise of standardization.
You are right about Iran, but I am afraid that, just as you noted that Rachel Maddow is not being guided by anything but her own passion, Iran is very much a genuine core belief of Trump’s and certainly no bone to neo-con sentiments. Trump is also on the side of the Israel lobby, and has swallowed the propaganda mistranslation about Ahmadinejad’s “wiping Israel off the map” hook, line, and sinker. Iran is the home of terror and a bastion of evil, and the eternal enemy of Israel.
Trump is no dove, and wants to spend even more money on the military. The US military budget is far higher than official sources suggest, since important parts are spent via other ministries (Energy, VA, Environment, etc), secret programs, and include T$10 of unaccounted expenditures over the past 20 years, not to mention supplemental spending on wars. Although Trump has caught on that the US is not fighting ISIS, his understanding of what Washington has been up to is likely guided mostly by the same propaganda as the rest of society. He is a deeply flawed ignoramus — don’t expect that to be mitigated any time soon.
Trump may retrench, spend less on foreign adventures, and try to cut some details. If he has to show that he is tough because of some new international neo-con entanglement, he will reverse on his intentions and go in whole hog.
Excellent inspection of events that could lead to a possible other explanation of Trump’s rise to power.
I believe the fact Brexit preceded Trump’s election in the US indicates this is not an isolated event, but rather (1) a reversal of strategy top-down or (2) an insurrection of one group against another in the decision-making centers of the world. Looking closely sees the same nationalistic fervor sweeping other anglo-allied countries, such a Le Pen in France, perhaps Italy, Spain, etc. Putin and China may have outsmarted the AngloZionist and called their bluff, and this systematic decoupling on the geopolitical scale is all the bullies running for the exit.
I would not, however, equate Trump’s nationalism-signaling statements and actions as verification of some sort of newfound elite morality, per se. They are pragmatists and tribal, not erudite beacons of understanding.
There is a reason to suspect Trump is a non-globalist Zionist, who will in fact hand his Jewish sycophants Iran as a sacrifice while obtaining nationalism for his own country. Consider the amount of Islamaphobia peddled on the same pro-trump sites and you can see a narrative being built, either to be foisted upon Trump by some false-flag or to be handed down from him personally.
Finally, I do not know how this international drama coincides or is affected by the accelerating ban on cash (ala India recently) and the never ending discussions on global debt. I suspect all this drama was pivoting before an abrupt reorganization of money supplies, either driven organically or a requirement due to a failing, abused system, either to digital or some sort of currency basket type, but I don’t really have concrete evidence connecting the two other than to say power and money sleep in the same bed. However, Trump’s appoint of Munchen as Treasury Secretary (again a Zionist not globalist) indicates an aversion to a global center of power but rather a prolonging of the current system (via 50- and 100-year long treasury notes) and not some profound recreation of global money.
What neo-con panic? What is perceived as panic is merely one criminal entity of the rhetorically different but wholly owned political establishment becoming unhinged that their preeminent position at the public trough of privilege and largesse is ending. If Trump ever posed as serous a threat to the establishment as expressed here I very strongly doubt he would ever have been allowed to win. Certainly a faction within the power elites would seem to have lost out with the election results but this is akin to the uber rich posting very large bets on a horse race and one group not able to believe that their expected and champion horse failed to win the race. The powers behind this slickest of campaigns and public manipulation will simply populate the new administration with rhetorically different personnel that will carry out continuity of agenda as a seamless operation. The American leadership realizes they have to re-shore their defense industry as much as possible or face strangulation or parts sabotage in the event of a major military event and this is what the Trump camp means primarily when it talks about bringing back and saving American jobs, including those industries that are switched to the production of war material in that event. It is my belief that W.F. Engdahl’s perspective peering into the future has the ring of truth about it. Time will tell and in the short run what is what.
Trump was elected as a reaction against the system ( democrats and republicans ). The system wanted the whole world and they were ready to sacrifice the common people in the US. Trump is going to deceive his supporters for actually he will be unable to change anything significatly. The real power is in the finance and its ability to print dollars at will.
Israel Shamir classified the Jews in 3 categories:
1) the “Jews “, the gentlemen very rich controlling the finances, the media, the Congress and the UN. They are those willing to control the world.
2) the zionists, the terrorists. They are allied with the Christians waiting for the Apocalypse and for them, the most important thing is Israel. They are the one responsible for the chaos in the M.E.
3) the common Jews which not very different than any one of us.
Trump is allied with the second category, therefore a war with Iran is becoming probable and it is what is alarming the first category.
The first category supports proxy wars, color revolutions, corruption. They want to implement a new religion for the common people of the world to replace Judaism, Christianism and Islam; this is the New World Order ideology in which everybody male and female, every races have to be plunged in the melting pot. Family, local culture, faith have to be destroyed. People have to be chained by solidarity, guilty feeling and fear of pollution and climate change. This is what they want but not they do not want a real war which could blow the world.
It means that Trump could be actually more dangerous than Clinton whose words may have been just rodomontades.
You offer no words or actions or writings of Trump to justify your conclusion about Trump being allied with or resident of group 2.
In fact, Trump’s words and actions are the opposite. From the very beginning of his campaign he placed avoidance of nuclear war and proliferation of nuclear weapons as the most serious matter, far beyond any other topic.
He may have sought support from Evangelicals, but the most apocalyptic sects did not vote for him. They sat it out. They worked against him with Cruz and with the NeverTrumpers for some perverse reason hoping for Clinton. I suspect they hoped she would deliver their apocalypse.
His closest advisers are all non-apocalyptic. His family are not of this ideology. Steve Bannon is not of this ideology. General Flynn is not of this ideology.
Peace through strength is not apocalyptic.
Bilateral negotiations is not the status quo.
Alliance rejection (his position regarding NATO and Five Eyes) is his policy.
Opening communication and campaigning for good working relations with Russia and Putin has been his position.
The only anti-Iran words have been a warning in general to the Iranians not to taunt and disrespect the US Navy. And he wants Iran out of the terrorism world. Considering that since 1979 Iran has used terror in ways not unlike the US, terror proxies and weapons supplied to them, there is a negotiation ahead that he is laying out some points to be resolved.
Trump has no ideology. He expects America to be strong again economically, long before it has rebuilt its military. So, if you know the US capabilities, his second term will be over before we see the US fit for a role as unipolar power. Meanwhile, that becomes more unlikely with Russia and China, India and Japan and Iran in the mix for multi-polar dynamics to keep the Hegemon in deep freeze, sort of cryonic steady state.
Trump might be diverted. But I doubt it. He long ago set sail for this role and he knows the shoals and rocks to avoid.
Understanding Trump and his rise is not only interesting and compelling, but to begin to understand we need to do it in a realpolitik kind of way. No one becomes President of the United States without partnering with powerful powerful people, like Satan, for example. Trump is not an outsider by any means, but he has alienated/annoyed some sections of the ruling elite. His advisors appear to be old-school right wingers from a time that sound like it was a couple decades ago. Some of them may indeed not be globalists. There is something potentially positive there. He may be trying to seduce Russia away from China but that will fail. It think he will try that first but it won’t take, leaving a lot of time to go by that works to the Chinese and Russian long game. I can’t see many scenarios in which the US population runs toward World War III. The US failed to trigger large wars with Russia thus far. How many times did the CIA attempt to kill Castro? The multi-polar world I think has just grown strong enough to be an effective deterrent for that. Does not mean smaller players don’t become victims however. I would worry for Iran and the peace agreement there.
Dear Saker,
thanks for this article.
Regarding Trump vs Clinton, I thought at first that Trump was the bogeyman to make Clinton “electable”. Looking back it might have been the other way around.
What if Hillary played her part perfectly? She fell on 9/11, but did she faint or did she take a fall? Was she as ill as she seemed to be occasionally? Will Trump really prosecute her as he implied? (“You would be in jail.”)
I am really unhappy with Trump as president elect and at least in my mind the only positive outcome of the election is that Clinton lost. But at what price? I think Engdahl is right when he characterises Trump as a narcissistic psychopath.
But at least it’s not preprogrammed WWIII… so … “Hurray!”…, I guess?
Classic Martingale:
quote:
“double down. And if that don’t work, double down again. And again. And again. This is why all their grand plans first kinda work, but then inevitably come crashing down, over and over again.”
:unquote
The perfect strategy for Roulette for example.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martingale_(betting_system)
Works every time. You just need to follow the instructions exactly and have unlimited resources and time. It’s fool-proof…
The Martingale strategy is indeed foolproof, but only if the gambler has more money than the house.
To protect themselves and to defeat the Martingale strategy, the casinos instituted a “house limit”. It’s obvious that the neocons have indeed been fusing the Martingale strategy, but there is a huge stinking difference, because here, the “house limit” is the entire planet and WW3.
Saker,
While you say your intention is not to refute Engdahl’s arguments, your analysis does an excellent job in doing exactly that.
I often center my discussions here on mindset of certain groups of people and have tried to explain the mindset of many Trump supporters to those here. If you understand both the mindset of of those who voted to elect Trump and the the mindset of the “Deep State”, it becomes very clear that it was not in the interests of the “Deep State” for Trump to be elected and they did not have some grand/ingenious plan to elect him.
I would first like to preface with shifting away from “Deep State” as the identity of TPTB. It is far more accurate to Identify them as the “Global Organized Crime Syndicate”. To refer to them as “Deep State” is an error which gives them more legitimacy than they have and also fails to identify the enemy properly in order to get a view of their mindset. Once you view them as nothing more than an Organized crime Syndicate, their mindset/motives/tactics/actions and overall goal become much clearer.
What does organized Crime exist to do? Make money off of everything and anything they possibly can. Guns, Drugs, Human Trafficking, Fraud, Extortion, etc…
What is Organized Crimes morality? They have none. Power and Money is their God. People are their prey.
What are their tactics? Depends on their sophistication and ability to project power. “Plomo O Plato – Silver or Lead” Simple formula, they either bribe or kill to corrupt people. People in key positions of power they blackmail and bribe.
Framed in this mindset, I sincerely doubt they had a grander master plan to install Trump and worked towards that end. I think Hillary miscalculated and thought she had an easier cahnce to win against Trump but then lost control of narrative when we starting speaking openly about her corruption. Wikileaks was a wild card they had not expected and had to counter on the fly with only very moderate success. Arrogance of power lead to many mistakes on their side such as Bill meeting with Lynch on tarmac getting exposed. They wield great power but are not invulnerable to mistakes and miscalculations.
It was certainly not according to their plan to have this child sex scandal/human trafficking exposed through #pizzagate. This was not according to ANYONES plan. It is something which has the power to unite people across the world and galvanize them to action to fight this worldwide evil. It was first exposed through an odd Podesta email people could tell was code but did not know for what. As we speak, people working as private citizens continue to research this and bring the issue into the light.
Those unfamiliar can can get a primer here and direct links to the citizen investigation here:
https://dcpizzagate.wordpress.com/2016/11/07/first-blog-post/
We are in both very scary and very encouraging times. Researchers fear for their lives with good reason but, cannot turn away because to do so is to condemn innocent children to a life of abuse and death. It is the good people of this world’s responsibility to gather the strength to fight this because our society is worth nothing if good people stand by and let this evil exist. Bring these people to justice and you would be amazed with how much of the corruption in the world would be destroyed as well.
I would like to think part of the reason why Putin had Alexei Ulyukayev arrested in the middle of the night was to send an international message to Trump that if Trump goes after this corruption and evil, he will have a partner in Putin. Hard to say, the People’s fight against this will continue regardless of what our leadership does no matter how many messengers they threaten or kill along the way.
It’s always good to test hypotheses.
The evidence around pizzagate is circumstantial, not substantial.
Aangirfan – an interesting anti/Zionist blogger – believes it is a smokescreen to distract from the rigged election – by the Trump camp.
That’s a departure from the alt/media who promoted the opposite line.
A comment on the site seems worth reposting:
Anonymous22 November 2016 at 23:42
There are no known victims and no known witnesses. Who would run a child trafficking operation in a venue with lots of staff and customer witnesses?
I would agree with the poster above that this could be a warning to the DNC – the actual goods are on the Wiener laptop. It also serves to undermine the American 21st Century PAC collecting info on GOP, run by Alefantis’ exboyf, Brock.
If you check the provenance of the pizzagate story, it seems to come from the anti-Islam Trump/GOP faction – ERIK PRINCE, JARED WYAND & GEN. MIKE FLYNN
JARED WYAND/ALT RIGHT gave out the pizza code on 3 Nov, the day it broke on 4Chan.
https://twitter.com/JaredWyand/status/794284672675147776
He is a Trump supporter spouting anti-Islam propaganda, eg. this is him unfairly accusing Muslims of attacking a Xmas tree.
https://twitter.com/JaredWyand/status/797832042717315072
ERIK PRINCE benefits from his private military force (XE) to battle Islamic militant groups in a variety of countries. He did an interview where he mentioned the NYPD investigating the Wiener laptop and the Epstein matter. That part is all true. But it fed deliberately IMO into the Reddit/Anon narrative that NYPD was investigating a DNC paedophile ring related to Podesta and Alefantis. He makes billions from Defence Contracts and is under investigation by the Justice Dept for money laundering & links to Chinese Intelligence. His sister funds Michigan GOP. So he has skin in the game. https://www.democracynow.org/…/erik_prince_in_the_hot_seat
GEN MIKE FLYNN is also critical of Islamic fundamentalism. He tweeted about NYPD whistleblowing and hastagged ‘spirit cooking’. https://twitter.com/GenFlynn/status/794000841518776320
Flynn is also reported to be anti-Islamist http://www.pbs.org/…/flynn-critic-muslim-militancy…/
Islamaphobia at home bolsters government support for mercenaries and the army abroad and drives arms sales. There are powerful forces at work in the Military Industrial Complex who want this Clash of Civilisations. Obama & Clinton held them back for 8 years so they worked to put Trump in power.

And now Betsy DeVos is going to be secretary of education. Veterans Today just did a story about the DeVos “cartel” and claims that Betsy is the real person behind Blackwater/Xe (and that Erik isn’t all that bright).
You need to make up your own mind about all this of course, including whether these comments are not as disingenuous as they seem.
Another interesting claim – which woujd certainly raise questions about Trump’s actual motives – is that he is in major debt to Soros.
However, I have heard that one before.
Eimar,
Regarding the #pizzagate portion.
It is true that evidence by private citizens, investigation so far is only circumstantial. They do not have the power to issue warrants and subpoenas as the goverent does. The circumstantial evidence is quite substantial and growing.
I will openly state the point is to create enough circumstantial evidence where it is clear to the general public that relevant agencies would be derelict in their duties to not open an investigation. That is the threshold which must be obtained by private citizens and no more. The point where we have gathered so much evidence that is is clear to the majority of citizens that any agency which does not investigate, cleary has no credibilty with the people. This is the only way to force an agency with corrupted leadership to do its job. Which is exactly what is happening within the FBI. If they maintain loyalty as an agency (because of corrupted leadership) to the global crime syndicate, then they are completely exposed as having no more credibility to the people and thus severly degrade their abilty to project power. This was Comey’s struggle and explanation of his odd flip flop. DOJ, lost – zero credibility with anyone and dead until Trump takes office.
We will see how it plays out with Trump. I am not so naive to place trust in him to carry through what must be done. I do trust Americans though, when we smell blood in the water we go after it like few others. And enough of us smell the blooe in the water and enough of us know this type of evil does exist and has been allowed to exist. There are those who have known this and it has weighed on their very souls and are looking for redemption. This is their chance for exactly that. To save those they could have before but did not. These are human terms with real people. We speak in an age of internet where we share ideas but do not really connect with each other on a human level. To those involved in this it is more than that in so many different ways for different people. A desire to make a difference in this world, a chance for redemption, attraction to,be a part of something. Maybe on the opposite side – paid agent of deciept/deception/corruption, secretly morally aligned with the underworld side, flat out predator fully embracing the darkworld or willfully ignorant who think their meek neutrality in every situation makes them a good person.
Maybe I state this issue to strongly here but, I have trusted my instincts and they have served me well for a numbet of years. My instincts are that the pedophile sex/human trafficking exposed by chance in the podesta emails has the power to change our entire world if we choose to use our power to do so. The organizations pushing for war and exploitation of the people of the world are all connected by this. You want to help change the world, this is one of the key battles in it which we can all unite against.
Hi there.
Thank you for your comment.
“Maybe I state this issue to strongly here”
No you don’t IMO. The circumstantial evidence is growing by the minute, and what has been exposed so far makes me sick. I don’t really want to go there, yet I have to.
Joachim Hagopian, which I have come to admire after reading most of his writings, just made a very thorough summary of the pizzagate atomic bomb. Warning, very strong stuff. (for me anyway).

Appreciate your post Active Patriot.
But the real damage is actually in plain sight: the use of LGBT fronts as a vector to promote the sexualization of children, via so-called ‘health’, ‘education’ and ‘anti/bullying’ initiatives.
The UN is currently the battleground for this , the mother of all battles. For nothing less than a worldwide agenda to pervert the course of childhood and legitimize pedophilia-by-stealth is in play.
Dr. Judith Reisman highlighted the dangers of globalization to child welfare, including sexual exploitation decades ago:
https://www.ewtn.com/library/ISSUES/GATTFLES.TXT
And did you know the current ‘bathroom’ war was the result of an initiative by Terry Bean, founder of the Human Rights Campaign?
The same 68-year old Bean who raped a fifteen year old boy, despite being in a ‘relationship’ with a 25-year old male?
Or that Guardian-declared ‘national treasure’, Peter Tatchell, and regular Telegraph contributor has claimed sexually-abused children ‘enjoy’ their abuse? Or that he once contributed a chapter to a book by the Pedophile Information Exchange, a group dedicated to abolishing age-restrictions completely for sexual intercourse (‘sixteen is just the start’ was their motto when Tatchell succeeded in getting it lowered from eighteen)?
I could post much more, like the case of the ex-minister of Culture, F Mitterand, but you get the drift – there is literally a war on childhood and PP and LGBT groups – the Nordic Axis specifically – are at the vanguard.
What we are dealing with is a widespread political, cultural and economic war on chikdren and childhood.
Pizzagate is only potentially a criminal issue currently because the law still recognizes that adults and minors/children are developmentally different, and must therefore be protected. That will change if PP and LGBT lobbies succeed in abolishing the ‘restriction’ of the designator ‘age-appropriate’ to push through their sexualization agenda.
We live in a culture where chikdren are accessing porn as young as six. A culture largely brought about by the same groups currently championing LGBT ‘rights.’, legalized prostitution and abortion-on-demand: all are interconnected as they serve Malthusian agendas, however perversely or criminally.
Recommend you contact Reisman, assuming she’s still in circulation.
Neocons and neoliberals can’t really surprise. They act like rather mediocre mafia guys – repeating racketeering actions. It’s pretty easy to read it. They are creating time after time new Maidans and Arab Springs. Putin’s biggest fiasco so far has been his weakness not to block Kiev’s coup. Why was Russian foreign intelligence so poor in early weeks of 2014?
I’ll recommend Russian spy machine track more these operations abroad. Minsk could be the second hot place. Americans are trying to play dirty in Sweden and Finland too. In Finland they have for long time tried to destroy strong coalition of anti-NATO consensus with moles inside media, Foreign Policy Institute (UPI) and military forces. So far they have had poor success. Latest Gallup was suggesting that NATO has actually lost 2% support in Finland. Poor result after immense pro NATO propaganda.
There are other interesting voices inside Finland. E.g General Hägglund called those politicians naive when thinking that Crimea will some day become part of Ukraine. Military expert Ltn.Col Raitasalo crushed NATO as a paper tiger. Professor Vihavainen underlined forgotten fact: FINLAND IS RUSSIA’s BUFFER. Professor Juhani Suomi said that NATO is a coward who deserts and surrender. Even more amazing were news that Finnish army in many ways (artillery power, armour, reserves) is in much better shape now that many armies of much bigger NATO countries. There’s growing sense among many Finns that independent and neutral Finland is favoring interests of Russia.
It’s pretty clear that more and more politicians and intellectuals are coming back from there short period love affair with NATO fantasy. European NATO is a dead fish, there’s no doubt. Geopolitics are here to stay.
Mats “There’s growing sense among many Finns that independent and neutral Finland is favoring interests of Russia.”
Not favours interests of Russia but definitely favours the interests of Finland. Also well for Finns to remember how much of a hot potato they were in the hands of the US and England in the Second World War when both so called allies of Finland dump the Finns very quickly when Germany turned on the USSR. The modern equivalent would be the Kurds in the M.E.
I am not sure about the politicians and the Finnish Media is still having a NATO love fest but it is encouraging that the population seems to have a level head.
Also not sure if the politicians are feeling like the meat in a sandwich with respect to Empire and their position in relation to it. A fine line to tread to avoid the Soros / State Department touch.
You ask: “Why would the Russians spend any capital on a clearly dying Empire when they have an extremely beneficial alliance with a growing superpower?” Simple. The close alliance with China is toooo beneficial… to China. Russian Far East and the entire Eastern Siberia is demographically empty in comparison with just single of northeastern provinces of said “growing superpower”. And if the new silk road will take shape, Russia will become an equivalent of the US “flyover” states. I doubt Russia would like it. To prevent this Russia needs to be friendly with “clearly dying Empire”. BTW, I think that such rumors are greatly exaggerated (to paraphrase someone :)). Particularly if new admin will be willing and able to make it less of an Empire and more of young enterpreneur.
example1: how to try to put a wedge between russia and china. bzezinski is proud of you.
What will the impact of the collapse of the world financial system be on the ‘merican dream of global dominance?
The collapse, especially a collapsing petro-dollar, will be like a tremendous blow right in solar plexus of the extremely parasitic Pindo economy sucking in the world’s goods, services, and natural resources in exchange for absolutely nothing of value at the point of a gun. The question is whether the über-militant parasites in the form of the US neocons can be kept at bay so as to prevent planetary Armageddon. If so, then the bloated living standards underpinning Western imperial pride and self-worship are going to plummet immediately as the Western “post-industrial” economic nonsense is forced into equilibrium with the rest of the planet. Needless to say, it is our reactionary, psychotic, very dear Pindo society that will make the most violent noises about it.
The all thing is about the economy. The ‘reset’ is mandatory and a diversion is needed.Interest rates will start to go up again soon which means that WS will collapse. The situation is even worse in Europe where all dominos are falling one after another.(Brexit,Cameron,Hollande,Sarkozy,Juppé..next sunday Renzi?A new eurosceptic president in Austria?).In 2017,France(Fillon or Le pen),the Netherlands…and Germany will follow.Sometime you have a plan ready but improvisation becomes suddenly mandatory to save the system.Neocons or Trump have no real power on a financial crisis(which will be far worse than in 2008).
They will try to save their money first. It may happen in 2017 or in 2020,nobody knows.Since 2008 they already managed to survive 8 years. The 0.0001 pct stole everything from the middle class. The maximum debt wall is approaching.
Peace with Russia is the only logical step the US can take:-
1. War would leave the US largly destroyed even if they won, leaving China the dominent superpower
2. If Russia broke appart the most natural resource part siberia would naturally gravitate to China leaving China stronger
3. Tensions with Russia pushes them closer to China with greater sharring of their military technology they would rather the Chinese didn’t have.
4. Even john McCain said the US needs a strong Russia to contain China (just one in the US pocket though)
So peace is the only logical approach
I hope and pray that the Trump presidency will somehow save the US from total obliteration. I am an American veteran, who desperately longs for a stable and peaceful outlook on foreign policy. Am I naive and convinced that Trump will deliver this? Absolutely not. I’ve witnessed first hand the disorganization regarding the military and civilian leadership’s relationship. We cannot allow ourselves to become hopeful, we must continue informing folks, and most importantly, remember history as it was yesterday. Thank you Saker for everything you do. My life would be a dismal place without the insight you provide on a daily basis.
RobertX
I know how you feel and am happy to see you here.
Veterans are more important to our future than any other time I can think of in recent history. I say that because we have an altered risk tolerance most do not have which gives us more power than some would ever openly admit. Please let me illustrate my point and why we matter so much now.
Veterans have been through things that other have not. They have faced the threat of death and still moved forward. Have witnessed the deaths of others and still moved forward. Their tolerance for taking risk is far higher than that of those who have not been through such experiences. When others are afraid to speak for fear of reprisal, Veterans often are not.
The world needs our contribution to the fight against the horrendous global crime syndicate whose victims include the most innocent and defenseless of our society. Our oath to our countries did not end when we took off our uniform. Our duty to humanity remains. I wear no uniform but am still faithful to God, Country, Corps.
We can help spread the word when others are afraid to. In fact, it is our duty to because we have seen the uglier sides of this world and we know what exists – what is allowed to exist.
On a date I cannot even remember, the bonus clock started ticking on me when I, very likely, should have died. On that day I had accepted death, felt its impacts on my body and walked forward into its face to fight it. That I am even here is thanks to something else. It is my duty to use part of that bonus time to help a cause I believe in a way I am suited to. I have been brave at times and not so much at others, the answer sometimes is not so simple. I am uncomfortable anytime someone thanks me for my service and greatly prefer not to be.
Everyone’s cause is their personal choice but, I hope we can get as many people on the cause of exposing the global crime syndicate and its horrendous abuse/murder of children. It is the scariest for people to fight and most good people don’t even want to know it exists – which is all the more reason why we need veterans to help.
Again I share the below and ask everyone who can to share with others.
https://dcpizzagate.wordpress.com/2016/11/07/first-blog-post/
It’s not going away, that’s for sure.
I think the two Serbian women – the ‘spirit cooker’ and the painter of grotesque child torture images – may hold the key to this: NATO’s destruction of Yugoslavia unleashed all sorts of horrors, human trafficking among them, especially the sex/trade and organ-trafficking.
Their ‘art’ could be simply deviant.
Or it could be manifestation of PTSD, as a result of being witness to horror.
It might help to get a Serbian speaker on board who is also fluent in English.
These women’s connections to Serbia might reveal a lot more about just how high up the chain the deviance/exploitation goes.
They are bound to be known to some in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia.
+ ActivePatriot Yes, you’re absolutely right about that, I noticed that too. George Orwell was a veteran, by the way. Alexander Dugin (Katehon) also wrote about that (The Middle Class and Russia) recently.
They’re the ones who are awake, while the rest, except the monstrous criminals, psychopaths, who run the system, live in a kind of (system induced) artificial dreamworld (mass psychosis), and are actually stupid beyond believe, and yes, they’ll be nervous, anxious, quickly, which only makes them even stupider.
Abuse is everywhere and indeed the fight against it will have to come from awake and driven commoners. Some important steps in the right direction have been made recently. But what should have been a very high profile case was quenched by the media and swept under the rug:
http://itccs.org/2013/02/25/guilty-final-verdict-is-rendered-in-first-common-law-court-case-against-the-vatican-and-canada-for-genocide/
Laika,
That is very inresring, I did not know that about Orwell. That opens a door for me and makes a few things more clear. Thank you very much for that.
I know how long the state of war America has been in is affecting those that served. I would also tell you the current U.S. military is fundamentally different from the military of my experience (Gulf war/Somalia) That is a subject an entire thread could be written on alone. Something I am thinking of is that I have worked with Russians a little not too long ago. I won’t pretend I know them well but, I did get to know them for a few weeks at a time. I like them, they are similar in many ways as Americans but, they have a deeper heart – would call it a mix of romantic, proud, chivalrous, pirate, ballsy, humble… and honestly kind but f**cking hard. I don’t know how the war in Syria affects them but, I am sure it affects them different than it affects Americans. Somewhere, somehow I feel that difference is very important in all our futures. Hopefully our common ground is too.
I am on the fence about these evil people being stupid. I lnow very much what you mean regarding lower level people but in regards to the higher level… Well, let’s for the sake of this discuss satanism. Why would anyone but a stupid person put themselves on the losing side with Satan in a choice. Obviously they believe there is a God if they believe in Satan. So why pick the side “we all know loses in the end”?
I contend that they operate in a different plane than we do in the same world and that their plane in this physical world holes more “power” than ours does. This is a very scary concept. The average person in our world does not hold the power of life and death over others. In their world, even the average person does. In our world there are consequences for wrongdoing. Their world, they do not follow laws of God and certainly not of man. For if you have no respect for God’s law, why would you follow those of mere men? They do not look at a person as a fellow human being like we do, they see them as prey. There is no compassion, remorse or guilt in their world. They live in a world of “freedom” that we cannot and would not even want to imagine. Numerous people having left and renounced that world have stated that true satanists have access/experience literally to other dimensions/planes. Whether this is true or not is obviously suspect and unproven but their belief in this is very real.
All this brings me full circle. I am of the opinion we are in the fall and closing on winter. Were time in darkness will exceed the time daylight. We need help from the shepards who have been trained to operate in the dark but have not lost sight of the light. We need them more than ever before.
Oh mon Dieu !!!!!!!!!! Il faut rester calme . Cet essai est bien premature .
RT just now reports Trump’s saying the US will no longer engage in regime-changing:

And how is that going to be achieved?
This might be a clue:

House Quietly Passes Bill Targeting “Russian Propaganda” Websites
On November 30, one week after the Washington Post launched its witch hunt against “Russian propaganda fake news”, with 390 votes for, the House quietly passed “H.R. 6393, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017”, sponsored by California Republican Devin Nunes (whose third largest donor in 2016 is Google parent Alphabet, Inc), a bill which deals with a number of intelligence-related issues, including Russian propaganda, or what the government calls propaganda, and hints at a potential crackdown on “offenders.”
A quick skim of the bill reveals “Title V—Matters relating to foreign countries”, whose Section 501 calls for the government to “counter active measures by Russia to exert covert influence … carried out in coordination with, or at the behest of, political leaders or the security services of the Russian Federation and the role of the Russian Federation has been hidden or not acknowledged publicly.”
The section lists the following definitions of media manipulation:
Establishment or funding of a front group.
Covert broadcasting.
Media manipulation.
PropOrNot was the ‘prep’ work.
Google are already censoring anyway, so no surprises there.
Try getting to gendertrender – a site that documents the behaviour and histories of ‘activists’ and their backers, including institutions, as well as the effects of the cult on children.
It’s not just Russia.
If Google is censoring as you say, that’s a good example of an internal war among the elites.
Google’s administrators would be part of the Hillary camp which uses SJW propaganda to keep the intellectual class distracted. The PropOrNot disinfo narrative is part of this. It’s a transparent hoax. Anyone can look them up and see how ridiculous they are. Stupid stuff that shows how powerless the Hillaryites really are.
However, I would put the NSA and FBI on the other side of this equation. They encourage open, uncensored access to alternative narratives, allowing for a shift towards Trump. They aren’t the “good guys,” they just see the Hillary camp as dangerous for the integrity of the country, and they want continuity of government including the preservation of their own jobs.
That is why I am with Saker on this. There is no consensus among the deep state, and Trump is not a secret warmonger. The NSA/FBI side is opposed to Hillary’s warmongering and sees war in Syria as a net negative for US interests, which needs to be avoided — even if it means putting a madman like Trump into office.
This reminds me back when the Marines would not be part of SOCOM because they did not want some CIA hack planning their operation and putting their lives on the line so that the CIA hack could get his glorious covert op on his record.
http://www.voltairenet.org/article194312.html
According toThierry Mejssan ” General Flynn is getting ready to rock the world of US intelligence and override all post 9/11 reforms. This would put an end to the obsession with secret prisons and targeted assassinations and mark a return to the true nature of intelligence: making sense of and anticipating developments around the world…”
As such, my gut feeling is that despite the question marks popping up around Trump’s choices as far as his cabinet goes, I tend to lean toward the Saker’s view rather than Engdahl’s in so far as the neocon’s overall strategies go. To wit, “their infinite arrogance brings them to the same solution when confronted with a crisis, double down. And if that dont work, double down again. And again. And again.”
One gets the impression that Flynn is the strongest voice in the Trump administration. He is worth watching more than any other.
If you look at the public record, Flynn was the strongest voice in the Military.
Mattis gets the PR treatment. Flynn accomplished things and would have ripped the cover off the CIA and WH duplicity in Syria with ISIS and al Nusra.
Mattis is a classical tactician. He accomplished nothing with his command of Centcom. He’s full of quotes.
Flynn is the creative force of ideas and practical solutions.
This is not just a conflict of interests within the Pentagon. Since Bush, there has been conflict over CIA doing battlefield Intel versus the Military doing their own Intel. And then there was the moral conflict of the CIA training and managing terrorists to try to overthrow and defeat Syria, Iran and Russia. The military balked at this Obama-Brennan policy.
Meyssan had another article on the perrenial Kurdish-Turkey issue.
From what I can glean between the lines, Erdo’s neo-Ottoman project is a ‘useful idiocy’ to the Israeli-Rothschild project for total control of the region: as soon as the divisions emerge into ‘viable’ entities, Turkey gets the chop:
http://www.voltairenet.org/article194302.html
Whether Erdo will be content with sel-enrichment, or get toppled as he continues this path to certain civil war in Turkey, remains to be seen.
According to Jerusalem-based DEBKAfile, Trump’s National Security Adviser, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, is “secretly in close touch with the Head of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, as well as President Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey and Jordan’s King Abdullah.” The website claims that the group has been engaged in secret discussions to prepare for a combined assault in Iraq and Syria, shortly after Trump is sworn in as president in January 2017.
Trump has announced that he wants James Mattis to be his Secretary of Defense. General Mattis says: ‘It’s Fun To Shoot People’.
The majority of Trump’s nine key appointments to date are insiders from Washington and Wall St.
Billionaire investor Wilbur Ross, who worked for the Rothschilds, is to lead the Commerce Department. Wilbur Ross stays in the same apartment building as Sir Evelyn de Rothschild and Henry Kissinger
Trump recently met with Goldman Sachs President Gary Cohn inside Trump Tower.
Trump’s treasury secretary is to be the former Goldman Sachs banker Steven Mnuchin. Mnuchin is Skull and Bones and is a friend of George Soros.
Steve Bannon, who is to be Trump’s White House strategist, worked at Goldman Sachs.
Gary Cohn, who worked at Goldman Sachs, is being considered to run the Office of Management and Budget.
Goldman Sachs banker Anthony Scaramucci is under consideration for a job as a top Treasury deputy.
Betsy DeVos is to be Trump’s Secretary of Education. (common core). Betsy DeVos is the brother of Erik Prince, who founded Blackwater/XE, the private security firm.
Trump has appointed two critics of net neutrality, Verizon consultant Jeff Eisenach and former Sprint lobbyist Mark Jamison, to his Federal Communications Commission (FCC) transition team.
Open internet advocates say these two appointments spell doom for net neutrality.
Trump appears to be going to do the OPPOSITE of everything he promised.
So, he needs a distraction such as Pizza Gate.
“Panamza , the French investigative website, revealed that the main organizer of the bloody Bataclan concert on 13th November 2015 was 9/11 insider, and Hollywood mogul, arch Zionist Ariel Emanuel.
“Ariel Emanuel is the son of Benjamin Emanuel who was a member of the Irgun, the Zionist terrorist organization.
“Donald Trump has had a meeting with Ariel Emanuel who is his former Hollywood agent.
“Emanuel is a longtime friend of Trump’s.”

CN,
I was not aware Donald Rumsfled supported Trump. Regardless of what people say of him, I consider him one of the most brilliant strategists ot our time.
”
There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don’t know we don’t know.
”
Many make fun of this quote but, I have repeated it many times to people and it is very true. Much of my profession is to reduce unknown, unkowns and to provide contingencies for unknown unkowns which is hard to do when you don’t know what the hell they are….
Even though I 100% disagreed with going into Irag the 2nd time, I have great respect for Rumsfields talent and mind.
“Regardless of what people say of him, I consider him one of the most brilliant strategists ot our time.”
Say what?? This guy intimidated all people around him, induced fear into the hearts of many European politicians.
Pure, unaltered EVIL IMO.

I didn’t say I liked him, I have a very healthy dose of respect for what he is capable of though.
Him, Cheney, Rove. Those are sharp people. Bad to the core but, very sharp. Not like Obamas team who are bad people and lousy at their jobs as well.
Karl Rove??
I’m sorry but that one is a little far fetched IMO. The very same bragging idiot (useful as he might have been) who said “We are an Empire now etc.”, see link.
Totally oblivious to certain realities, and future possible scenarios (not to speak of history of Empires.
In my opinion, his remark is at the same level as the other psychopath who uttered “We came – We saw – He died.”

Agree there is a definite conflict going among the zpc/nwo and the western parasite class in general. It may also be happening at massa’s place. I posted an article here recently how netanyahoo’s wife is being investigated for corruption. It may be a phony investigation to cover things up, or a serious effort to dethrone the netanyahoo ghoul, I don’t know.
About trump and Iran, his israeli/Jewish mafia associations pretty much explain that. The israelis have been hellbent on destroying Iran since 1979, through their american colony, of course, and allied with them are the more extreme non zionist elements of the western oligarchy who always go postal when one of their colonies escapes.
That probably explains this:
Congress Kills Proposal by Trump CIA Pick to Require Russia-Iran Ties Analysis
https://sputniknews.com/us/201612031048120072-congress-kills-iran-russia-analysis/
For the aipac detrious to slash that, given it was about their two favourite “whipping boys”, the pompeus material was probably ott big time. My guess is trump’s people will push cold war, perhaps terror war against Iran, but not go hot.
Syria still remains an unanswered question, though. There may be a conflict among the israelis about how to proceed which may explain trump’s apparent hesitancy and the neocon/zio-media fanaticism. Something along the line of short term thinking vs long term in how to maintain zionazi power in a very changing geopolitical dynamic.
Trump still seems to have the support of israel’s screehing queen freakshow (“conservative” talk radio and tv in pindoland), so suspect these sods still are getting word from their zionazi massa that he isn’t a threat.
@vot Tak
I also get the impression of a power/struggle between what might be called ‘moderate’ Zionists and the neo/cons.
The issue of ongoing hostility to Iran is not really important: the Iranians first and foremost needed the lifting of sanctions and they have achieved this.
They are already being intensively wooed by the EU, so trade with the US is not important.
The chances of a hot war don’t seem too high with Flynn – more along the lines of a cold one. Plus, his theory of analytics and the top-down control of intelligence networks will make it less likely that terrorism will continue to be funded from the black budget.
This leaves the Isrselis largely to their own initiatives – ongoing terror attacks and subversion. They have already managed to fleece the US tax-payer of 40 billion in military ‘aid’, so they won’t be short of a few shekels.
They have a different problem – the growing awareness inside Israel of class inequality, ethnic tensions and the perrenial Palestinian question. Israeli hawks have an internal battle to fight as well as external.
So I am cautiously optimistic that Trump will concentrate on ‘making America great again’ in preference to propping up the Isrseli regime. If for no other reason that he doesn’t like a ‘bad deal.’
There are 2 factions than rule/ control/ own the world: the Neocons and the Anglozionists. The Neocons are totally insane ant their main value is destruction, including self destruction. The Anglozionists are partially insane and their main value is profit. The Anglozionists selected Trump.
“…I sure don’t get the feeling that what is taking place today is the result of something carefully planned.”
Well, the best plan of all unfolds in such a way that everything appears to have happened of its own accord and “nobody could have seen it coming”.
Keeping Ischenko’s Oriental Review article of Nov 2015, and Scott’s posts of an emerging Kerry-Lavrov Pact in mind, please see the Katehon article linked below:
http://katehon.com/article/election-wasnt
I have no idea who author David Lemire is. He doesn’t show up anywhere else, but Katehon has some big Russian names on its “About Us” page, and I’m assuming they would have vetted him and his article. Those names are what I base my guarded acceptance of Lemire’s statements on.
Anyhow…
Ischenko said that America’s last chance for redemption would occur in 2016, and Scott talked about an emerging Lavrov-Kerry Pact some months ago – a modern version of Molotov-Ribbentrop. Cat Motyla and Andrey Manoylo filled in some details and context, but Lemire says it was far more dramatic. He claims that Putin’s March, 2015 “disappearance” was spent “personally supervising the nuts-and-bolts operational planning of a Russian nuclear first-strike upon the United States and Europe.”
When the US learned of this, they went into full panic mode. Kerry was in Moscow almost weekly, finally exiting his plane dramatically handcuffed to his briefcase as an intended, unmistakeable signal to US allies, and as importantly, to the Neocon camp in Washington.
“The game is lost, we’ve cut a deal.”
Lemire says that “One of the concrete, specific, substantive terms of this surrender was that the Neoconservatives be destroyed as a force in American politics… he did not “win” the 2016 general election in the United States; Trump was placed in office by the owners of America, lest they lose all they have in a nuclear holocaust.”
This was a bizarre election. Nothing felt “right”. Everything was “weird”. In no particular order…
– Trump’s total destruction of the GOP and its field of candidates in the face of the MSM’s and RNC’s onslaught was just too easy.
– Wikileaks’ “Chinese water torture” of releasing emails almost daily. All contra the Hillary campaign, none against Trump, with a few on Soros for good measure. None too damning, but just damning enough. However they got them, they were obviously letting the players know that they had ,i>all the goods on everybody, and that they could escalate at any time.
– hints were floating around that “the goods” included the participation of the Clinton camp in that most heinous of crimes.
– Anthony Weiner’s bizarro-sicko behaviour, and Huma’s nervous breakdown.
– the FBI’s flip-flopping Director Comey took a bullet for the nation when he first backed off the investigation. Then he took a 2nd bullet, and finally a 3rd. Also for the nation. Comey is a very smart man who had a reputation for being straight. To my eye, he was clearly playing a role in the game that was not his own. He wasn’t flip-flopping out of “incompetence”, or as a result of “pressure from the ranks”. The first “cancelled investigation” was probably more damning than one that would have been dragged out to 2018 and lost in legal wrangling. The 2nd put Clinton in the hole. The third threw the dirt over her.
– Kerry’s disappearance. He went to Antarctica the day before the election, about as far away from Washington’s post-election chaos as you could get. No statements, no interviews, no comments, nothing. Visiting the South Pole may have been on his bucket list, but he picked a helluva time to do it. More like he didn’t want to be around if the wheels came off the wagon.
– Hillary’s weird illnesses and the denial thereof.
– the dichotomy between Trump’s frequent, massive and energetic rallies and Hillary’s occasional talks with a few dozen or hundred lacklustre attendees yielding anything like what either the polls, or the election results said. (I once spent an evening testing the Clinton website typing in locations looking for a single scheduled Clinton political event and found none). She may have spent a lot of time fundraising, but her campaign on the hustings was all but non-existent.
All that and more was weird enough, but weirdest of all (for me) was:
– The incredible amount of noise made by the MSM and the Hillary campaign about “Russian interference”. Hacking the email servers, the voting machines, the information sphere, accusing Trump of being “Putin’s agent”, etc etc. All without a shred of the weakest evidence. Russian? WTF? Even if the had sucked this idea out of their thumb, who in their right mind would have thought this a viable election strategy?
It was non-stop, and continues to today. WAPO’s publishing of a McCarthy-esque list of Russian “propaganda sites” (which included a dozen I read fairly regularly!) a few days ago just made my jaw drop. Do they not realize how much damage they’re doing to themselves? Of course, they must know, which indicates that the stakes are so high that burning the seed corn to stay alive is worth the candle. (I love mashing metaphors!)
Anyhow, I wondered if that was, and remains just noise, or whether there’s a few kernels of truth behind it. The scale of the meme was just too far over the top for me, and… it didn’t work, and isn’t working(!). Yet, it continues!
Now, if Lemire exposed the root of that truth – this is as serious as it gets. If Russia demanded that the Neocons had to go and backed it with a Nuclear Ultimatum, my gut says there would be more. Much more.
They would have also insisted on a clear plan delineating how “America’s owners” were going to proceed. They would have critiqued that plan, and (if any of this is true) I fully expect that they would also have made helpful suggestions.
It is clear that for such an agreement to come together, the interests of the Kremlin and “America’s Owners” had to converge and the Kremlin would have assisted using any plausibly deniable means at their disposal. As the Kremlin has access to some creme de la creme analysis and intelligence, their help would be invaluable.
– After the election, another unpublicized oddity took place… all CIA & FBI agents were “urgently withdrawn” from their offices in Kiev. It looks like a commitment that had come due.
Going forward, I don’t think the Trump deception has stopped. The swamp can’t be drained in a day.
It will take at least 4 yrs to de-neocon-ify America and the team he starts out with will be very different than the team he finishes with. Like the battle for Aleppo, there’ll be a slow strangling of the neocons’ resources, punctuated by “ceasefires”, tactical retreats, “diplomatic negotiations” and ultimately (when the numbers are his side) a war of attrition. Trump won’t start the war of attrition at the beginning because he’s outnumbered.
The best plan of all unfolds in such a way that everything appears to have happened of its own accord and “nobody could have seen it coming”.
Hi there.
Thank you for bringing to our attention David Lemire’s article as well as your own valuable comments.

Kent
I overlooked this article at Katehon recently, thank you for bringing it to our attention.
An immensely complex situation. Perhaps a metaphor may be helpful. I favour the metaphor of a very large boat on the ocean. The boat symbolizes the 0.001 percent and the ocean symbolizes the 99.999 percent. Seems the question may no longer be “Who is in control of the boat?” perhaps a much different question … “How do we keep this boat afloat?” The natives are getting restless … the waters are stiriing.
Since I have seen erdogan so basilante in the game of being between UE, russia and usa, I consider that if trump arranges the subject of Syria the injured will be directly erdgoan, even Turkey could lose territories at the hands of creating a Kurdistan.
Almost always happens with the most ambiguous.
With respect to iran, could only happen with the consent of russia and china, and both would not give him iran so as to use it to transform it into a saudi arabia chii.
The issue of iran is complicated because it is practically impossible to win a US military level, nor can it enter for a change of typical regime even if it would help Russia and China.
Could only force it to have a more flexible regime with Israel and Saudi Arabia, but for what? If these last two only wish to destroy iran.
Wanderlei, I agree with you about Turkey: by refusing to take sides with either Russia or NATO, Turkey risks a tacit agreement between Russia & NATO to break Turkey apart, which would serve, at any rate, the Yinon plan.
About Iran: I can see the Anglozionists going it alone, even in spite of Russia’s and China’s opposition -that’s the concession Trump must have made to Adelson a week before the election. They could simply start by implementing the Nitro Zeus plan: cyber-destroy Iran’s electric grid, which has from what I understand the same effect as a massive EMP attack. Within weeks, Iranian society would break down. The cyber attack may not even be claimed, or it could be blamed on Saudi Arabia. From that point on, the invasion of Iran could first be by proxy: either first send ISIS-like armies to Iran from SA and the other Sunni states or use Saudi Arabia’s official army to start securing Iran’s coast along the Persian Gulf.
Saying that Saudi Arabia can take on Iran is the same as saying that Poland can capably take on Germany or Russia, its ludicrous. ISIS Sunnis stand as much chance in Shia Iran as would those crazy American Christian missionaries. If the electricity grid in Iran goes down, no-one will panic, in the absence of tv they’ll just get down to making more babies, and then rebuild their electricity grid in a more robust, damage tolerant and easily maintainable fashion.
The population of Iran is about 80 million whereas the population in Saudi Arabia is about 20 million, with another 10 million non-nationals doing all the manual labour the manicured Saudis can’t do. Most of the Saudi Army is non-nationals, which is one of the reasons why they are having so much difficulty tackling a single tribe in Yemen, the Houthis. Even with Israel involved the Iranians won’t have too much problems, only with Turkey will the Iranians have a fight on their hands. Yes Israel defeated the Egyptians and the Syrians in the past (essentially Arab countries), but Israel can’t take on either Turkey or Iran, both of those nations have ruled over the Jews before for multiple times longer periods than Israel has existed.
The Iranians are Persians, not Arabs. Persians have more substance to them

Well, it didn’t take much time to disprove what Saker wrote. He is emotional on his analysis and projects what any sane person would, considering the dangers of electing Clinton. Remember the anxiety we felt on election day thinking that a criminal would be elected? Remember the enthusiasm immediately after Clinton being crushed? Now it’s time for realism and fact-checking.
This article uses logic but don’t you know that logic is dead from some time? It projects developments using a logical way for the good, but since when the evil that runs the world uses the logic of us (presumably good) mortals?
About the first sentence, I’m referring to the call between Trump and Taiwan. Doesn’t it offer a clue, along the lines of what Engdahl writes, for the things to come? Doesn’t it suggests that more provocations are to come about China (proving Engdahl’s thesis of good-Russia bad-China)?
I like reading Saker, but I would suggest to him stop being a believer (in Trump, in the sense that you should forget what YOU projected of him, and instead focus on his real (broken?) promises and real actions. However, I understand it is too easy to judge him, but still you can judge him about what he is doing, who is he selecting, and so on. I wouldn’t like Saker to remain focused on the benefits of Trump over Clinton. The majority knows them, who doesn’t is either an idiot or naive. I would like him write more on the shape of the administration and policies to be expected now that he’s (presumably) elected.
My 2 cents :)
I do think that Trump was partially sincere–at least about Russia, and that his persistence in refusing to demonize Russia throughout the campaign, despite the media consensus, gave me sufficient reason to vote, albeit very reluctantly, for him against Hillary: my choice was between a known pure evil (Hillary) and a generally evil or incompetent businessman (e.g. Trump University scandal; repeated business failures), with no track record in politics. I’ve always made fun of one-issue voters, but ironically I was a one-issue voter too during the last election: and that was Russia. But even so, I knew there was no guarantee Trump was either sincere or more importantly capable of making peace with Russia. It’s very, very sad to have no better alternative in a presidential election than Trump, who is IMO a crook, albeit a talented one in the cutthroat NYC world. I was never optimistic about Trump, I never liked him, I only hoped that there might be a *slight* chance of averting a nuclear war with Russia, compared to Hilary. But *slight* chance means just that.
Now let’s analyze what ‘sincere’ means and why pre-election Trump (or rather the puppet masters pulling his strings) would resist Russia-bashing:
1) some US business interests may genuinely support peace with Russia (like elements in the Oil lobby); also a segment of the deep state opposes the risk of world war with Russia. More on this group below.
2) a political move: the Trump campaign knew many Americans, in spite of the media, do not want to go to war with Russia, so they decided strategically, in contrast to Queen of War Hillary, to dissemble support for the resumption of relations with Russia. Get votes from the peaceniks.
3) sheer deception: lower Russia’s guard, present the false promise of hope and overtures, in order to better strike Russia very hard when Russia expects it least. The element of a surprise massive attack on Russia under a Hillary presidency would be impossible, since Hillary openly hates Russia and the Russians know it and would be preparing for it, in both mind and deed. As I peruse the Russian press and see how many outlets are so IMO naively sanguine about Trump, a surprise massive US strike against Russia under Trump would deliver a psychological blow on the Russian civilian population, in a way that it wouldn’t have under a Clinton administration, who would be preparing for it.
4) strategic move with the same long-term objectives: the part of the Deep State that allowed Trump to win the elections may have allowed him to win not because they accept Russia as a sovereign nation, but rather because they think there is a *glimmer* of hope they can convince Russia to throw Iran under the bus and stand idle, while Iran is nuked / invaded / neutralized, in whatever shape or form. The end goal among many of the olive-branch-to-Russia proponents in the Deep State remains the destruction and subjugation of Russia, only this goal is postponed, in order to first destroy Iran. This party reasons that it would be more difficult / costly / challenging to destroy Russia and Iran at the same time, though if push comes to shove, they will risk it. So, the strategy is the same as the single surviving Horatius triplet in Roman myth against the three Curiatii triplets: split the three enemy brothers, and kill them one at a time. With Iraq and Libya already out of the picture, destroyed at separate times, the one enemy at a time strategy is already unfolding.
Even if Trump was/is sincere, whatever sincerity / friendship Trump has for Russia is overwhelmingly offset by his now unquestionable ultraZionist cabinet. That question mark is gone. I’ll repeat what I said in a separate post: it is of the utmost significance, that only *a week* before the election, ultraZionist casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson gave Trump $25 million:
http://video.foxnews.com/v/5191715730001/
Adelson could have given Trump the money weeks, months earlier in the campaign, as he normally does to Republican candidates that are running for office. So Why? Why didn’t Adelson give Trump the money earlier? What took Adelson so long? Probably, as you suggest Saker, because Trump was a little sincere about avoiding war with Russia; or perhaps because up until that point, Trump hadn’t given *absolute* *proof* to the Israel-firsters that he would do absolutely anything for Israel, ANYTHING, even if it meant, as you cogently put it, Saker, saving the Empire by destroying the United States.
I wager that the week or so before the election, when Trump took Adelson’s money, is the week that Trump completely capitulated to the Zionists. That is the week Trump signed a pact with the devil. I can imagine Trump telling Adelson and his protege Netanyahu: “you pick my cabinet for me, and I’ll approve it if only you help me become President. Also, I give you my word I’ll surround myself with advisers of your choosing and I’ll listen to them on all of the issues we discussed. Also, I’ll do absolutely everything I can to destroy Iran, at any cost. First, we’ll try to cut a deal with Russia, but if they refuse, we will confront them too.” Just as Wall Street vulture Michael Froman picked Obama’s first cabinet.
Remember that, not so long ago, Adelson explicitly wanted us to nuke Iran:
http://swampland.time.com/2013/10/23/sheldon-adelson-nuke-iran/
Trump owes Adelson big time.
The combo Flynn / Pompeo / Mattis / McFarland is a smoking gun the USA is going to attack Iran.
Russia will be spared only if they can be persuaded to abandon Iran. I’m very curious, by the way, what would become of Pakistan. Flynn & Ledeen do call for regime change in Pakistan as well – a nuclear power.
The biggest incentive for Russia to betray Iran, besides the obvious fear of annihilation, might be the hope of modernizing their army and nuclear arsenal in the meantime: Russia could buy time, with the hope of being stronger after the months / years it might take for the Empire to subdue Iran. Anonymous too has a good point when he says that a war with Iran would cause oil prices to skyrocket, a great boon to the Russian economy in the short and middle term. At the same time, by losing Iran as an ally, Russia would be more surrounded than ever and more alone in the world if Europe doesn’t break loose from its Atlanticist elites.
In summary, the deal Trump made with Adelson a week before the election makes it irrelevant whether Trump was sincere or not about Russia. Yes, Trump, up until that point, was a great threat to the establishment (hence the media consensus), not so much because he was anti-establishment than because his unpredictability made him difficult to control, unlike Hillary. Our Zionist establishment is all about control: they are control freaks. When at last Trump gave them the assurances they needed (total subservience), a Trump presidency became more appealing than a Hillary presidency because it raises the chances of a more rational, incremental achievement of Zionist ambitions: first destroy Iran. Rather than wage war on multiple fronts at the same time, which was the Clintonista agenda (still is Obama policy). One can only guess what inducements the Trumpsters will offer Russia: lifting of the sanctions? Ukraine? combined with Mattis-esque intimidations?
But make no mistake about it: if Russia stands in the way of Iran’s destruction, Trump will not hesitate to fall back on the Zionists’ plan A: simultaneous war against Russia and Iran, or perhaps rather strike Russia first. And if Trump ever has the nerve to disobey his Zionist masters and creditors in taking on a pro-Iran Russia, there is already a plan for that: he’d be JFK’ed and the unflinching ultraZionist, anthrax-hoax-supporter Mike Pence would become 46th President of the United States.
right, so the empire that cant win against barefoot afghani goat herders with WW1 rifles will take on russia and iran simultaniously. heck, why not throw in china into that mix too, north korea and of course some martians too. america, f!ck yeah!!!!
the US inability to defeat barefoot Afghani goat herders is only for show. If they really wanted to, they could have, but then you’d lose a good excuse for staying in Afghanistan, in the same way as ISIS was created as an excuse for continuing US presence in Iraq and now Syria.
I agree that even if Russia refused to throw Iran under the bus, there could be different ways a Trump a la Cheney administration (a politician Pence apparently admires) could undertake a multipronged attack: one could involve a massive cyber-attack on Russia’s and Iran’s electric grid. I recently watched Alex Gibney’s documentary 2016 Zero Days on the development of the Stuxnet virus against Iran, in which I actually learned a lot, and apparently the USA already has in place a plan to destroy Iran’s electric grid infrastructure through a cyber program called Nitro Zeus:
http://dailycaller.com/2016/07/07/the-us-literally-used-to-have-an-onoff-switch-for-iran-called-nitro-zeus/
Four days before the US election, anonymous NSA sources told NBC the United States have also penetrated Russia’s electric grid and military chain of command, and could blow it up if they wanted to, in keeping with Biden’s earlier unprecedented warning:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjzDA7YGHzc
On the day of the election, the electric grid of Murmansk, head of Russia’s arctic fleet, mysteriously blew up, only 4 days after NBC’s warning:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNv-O8o3Gwk
And yesterday, Russia’s central bank was the victim of a 2 billion ruble cyberattack. Such are the crazies at the top.
And didn’t a rocket to the ISS blow up too?
Still, this can work both ways.
So I can’t see them pushing their luck.
Interesting the claim made by the NSA on the NBC link.
It has a culture of operating to standards of legal compliance, a legalistic approach that is fundamentally amoral (not ‘should we’ but ‘can we’ do x). Couple that with a policy of placing psychopathic personalities at executive level in corporate culture, and yes, this is a problem – big time:
Either way, if the public laws that Congress passes don’t mean what they say, then compliance is just lipstick on a pig. Chris Sprigman wrote about this here at Just Security, and he sees the culture of lawyering at the NSA, far from assuring the agency’s lawfulness, as actually aiding and abetting the essential lawlessness of the mass surveillance programs. “There is a danger here that the role of the NSA’s lawyers – and this goes for both De and DeLong – creates the appearance but not the reality of lawfulness, and, in the end, does not vindicate the law, but subverts it.” If Chris is right that De and DeLong and the agency’s other lawyers have very little, if any, input into the Administration’s interpretation of the agency’s legal authority (and neither lawyer has claimed to have such input), then NSA lawyers aren’t empowered, they are rubber stamps. De is the agency’s general counsel, responsible to ensure that the agency’s employees operate within the law. Yet he emphasizes repeatedly that he relies on the expansive interpretation of the NSA’s authority that he says has been approved by Congress, and the courts, and the Administration. De hasn’t engaged with the arguments that the agency is overrunning whatever surveillance authority Congress and the courts have actually given it. Margo argues that legalism actually both crowds out the consideration of policy and interests (as opposed to law and rights), and legitimates the surveillance state, making it less susceptible to policy reform. Chris says that De and DeLong’s approach to agency lawyering is actually lawlessness in disguise.
Engdahl can’t write.
Right now the GOP controlled Congress is passing and proposing all sorts of progressive legislation that deals with things like the so called fake media, amnesty, Iran, and all things Israel. Why? They’re pulling a one two gotcha? Highly unlikely. They have a friendly president with Obama. Trump is the interloper.
My guess is Trump is the face of a rebellion in the deep state and billionaire club. The question is what are they rebelling against. Policy? Globalism? Mass migration? Fear of nuclear war? Or is it something else? Crazy as this sounds is it about the theory that Pizzagate (paedophilia) and Satanism running rampant amongst our ruling elite? Maybe it’s all of the above or none of the above. Either way it is big enough that Donald Trump is risking his beloved brand for. For some reason I doubt it’s for total war unless he is that leveraged. The again that is what the bankruptcy game is for.
It’s a Republican-controlled Congress. And H.R. 6393 the bill to censor Russian propaganda sites, was sponsored by a Republican; so you’re off your game because what Congress is doing is smoothing the way for Trump’s Presidency. The FBI just got carte blanche on hacking. Expect to see a lot more of this fascist sh*t being made into law.
Quote from Steve Bannon (2016, The Vatican) on Putin:
“Putin’s … very, very very intelligent. I can see this in the United States where he’s playing very strongly to social conservatives about his message about more traditional values, so I think it’s something that we have to be very much on guard of.”
Am i the only one that can see this election being stolen. Trump has just lost 22000 votes in pennsylvania and the clinton strongholds haven’t even been counted yet.
This is it folks expect things to go south very quickly next week
Thanks Saker’s.
This question is very alive in my mind and I do agree with you. My feeling is the same!
Everything could happen!
Just one more thing, you forgot to mention the snipers from Venezuela at the coup d’etat to replace Hugo Chavez.
The snipers follow an script. I knew that because I’ve tough about it in the pass to conclude that this is unavailable in Brazil since the federation don’t use the police force.
So there is no one to blame at national level….
The police belongs to states in the federation!
Trump is a showman and the man behind the curtain but he is definitely not the wizard of the neocons. That job was for the neocon witch Hillary. Nothing here makes sense – the zionists are simply not this crafty or sophisticated. Besides what need was there for all the melodrama and plot twists just to put another goyim stooge in the POTUS.
All that was needed was to prop up Jeb Bush against Clinton and another fake election was in the bag for the neocons. Off to ww3 America would go in defense of the merc disasterous failure in Syria lead Ma Kettle. Trump shortcircuited this plan by winning the RNC – actually destroying the RNC and turning it into the Trump party.
The day I watched Trump on tv float down the Trump Tower escalator – surrounded by cheering crowds and wife and family – I knew something was up. The war between elites had begun and the Trumpster was their wildcard. Trump cannot – will no lose – he went in knowing that he could win with the showmanship skills that are unrivaled.
The millions of deplorables did not give a shit about Obama, Romney, Clinton or talking head vassals of both the DNC and the RNC. However, it was standing room only for Trump.
There is no way the neocon firsters would ever allow a populist showboater like Trump anywhere near the presidency – Trump will maybe listen and then go right ahead and do whatever he wants.
The desperation in the MSM propaganda mill is clearly a sign that something is up – my guess is that Trump will pull – not a Putin but rather a Chavez and start an immediate crack down on the oligarchy pushing the zionist parasites out once and for all.
Yeah, and you’re just gonna ignore that $25 million bonus Adelson gave Trump a week before the election. You really think that Trump is not just another prostitute for Zionist/Neocons?
Trump’s got three of Cheney’s closest advisers on his own advisory team; James Woolsey, John Bolton and Steve Yates to mention a few. Netanyahu was the first leader Trump spoke to. Adelson’s going to get his money’s worth with 10 times interest.
Trump also has high regard for Giuliani. Everyone should watch this video of Giuliani passing in front of the Zionist throne and kissing the ring of Queen Miriam and watch how Adelson ejects from his seat only after Giuliani demonstrates his adulation:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/26/watch-rudy-giuliani-kiss-the-hand-of-a-top-gop-donor-miriam-adelson/?utm_term=.415762a219cb
Here’s Trump pledging allegiance to his masters:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygKgnd8CrIQ
All of what you say is true – Guilliani is scum and so are the rest. But you have not addressed the central question. Why Trump?…They have everything and more in Hitlery. And by far a much more compliant vassal than Trump. As for 25 million from Adelson – that is a bribe not whore cash like what the clintons get.
My take is that Trump is playing all of these stooges – the coordinated global msm presstitute attacks proves it. The attacks are relentless and have not let up. Here in Canada the msm branch offices have revealed a transnational effort – certainly no US president has received this kind of onslaught – in fact regardless of behaviour/deeds all others – including right back to Nixon have received a pass from the northern news whores.
The zionists are running scared – all of the cash pigs are running scared. Regardless of the amount of money they had Putin clamped down on the Russian oligarchs and there was nothing they could do. The same will happen under Trump – once in control of the state money will mean nothing to Trump – just power.
I read Engdahl’s piece before reading this article.
The former was indicative of a fear-mongering shill who rails against the establishment no matter who said establishment is. The latter was a breath of fresh air that nicely expressed many of my own thoughts about the former. Especially the all-important point that the establishment fought tooth and nail and is still fighting tooth and nail AGAINST him.
Sure, some of Trump’s ‘picks’ leave a lot to be desired, but that is to be expected, particularly at this stage. It will take months, perhaps years to refine and polish his cabinet, being careful to weed out the infiltrators.
Is Trump genuine? At first I thought no, the man is a ‘Ross Perot’, set up by Clinton and her media minions to destroy her opposition and get her into the presidency (exactly like Perot was for Bill). But after researching his thoughts and words I gradually began to think he genuinely wants to ‘save america’.
As to whether Trump CAN ‘correct’ america’s course… it takes a man of great ego to attempt the impossible for a lesser ego would never dare try.
It’s funny you say Trump was a Clinton setup to throw a wrench into the GOP primary, thereby assisting her victory by crippling the eventual nominee who would be pulled to the “far right” to counter Trump.
It is conventional wisdom among the “professional political consultant class” is that the candidate should “play to the base” in his own party during the primaries, and then move to the center in the general election to appeal to independents and moderates in both parties.
Anyhow, one of the WikiLeaks documents showing collusion between mainstream media outlets revealed that the DNC and Hillary campaign strategically instructed their accomplices in the press to “elevate” Trump and treat him as a serious candidate – this in order to sow chaos, elevating Trump whom they saw as a charlatan, extremist clown.
The GOP, incidentally, shared this view of Trump which explains their unhinged hysteria to stop him crashing “their” party.
The strategy backfired spectacularly, because the Democrat assessment of Trump – that he was not a serious candidate – was completely wrong.
Trump proved to be a very serious candidate indeed with detailed and substantive policy proposals. Nobody expected that, either in the GOP or at the DNC.
Furthermore Trump, with his celebrity, mass rallies, huge social media following, and coverage in the “alternative media” (Drudge, Breitbart) was able to get his message directly to the people in an unprecedented way. This created dissonance when the mainstream media outlets tried to lie about what the people had just seen with their own eyes.
Trump isn’t prez yet, there still is a chance the backroom denizens may prevent him taking office and appoint their fat chick instead. This article by Bridge covers the sort of legalistic strategy these critters may be working on, using stein as their opening salvo.

Green Party Drops Recount Effort in Pennsylvania
https://sputniknews.com/us/201612041048140484-greens-drop-PA-recount/
“The Green Party is dropping its court case seeking a recount of Pennsylvania’s votes in the US presidential election, saying they can’t afford the $1 million bond the court will require by December 5.
Stein and the Green Party have raised almost $7 million for their recount efforts, but so far have fallen short of their goal of $9.5 million. Trump, who filed a motion to block the recount in Pennsylvania December 1, has called the effort a “scam” to fill Green Party coffers.”
Stein started by saying $2-3 million is what they needed for the recount in those 3 states. Now she claims she needs 9.5? Sure…. Looks like they won’t be able to nullify penn’s ec college 20 votes with a slow recount, so that potential route appears a non starter. Unless soros & co. magically make the money appear.
Don’t want to spend the cash, send in the shylocks.

This dr. jillin’stein continues to justify those “bad vibes” I initially got about her. While trumps relationship to the neocon-worst aspect of the zionazi power base remains uncertain, this dr. jillin’stein is definitely a tool of theirs. That I am 100% certain of.
It was clear by the time Trump had a lead in the Republican primaries that the Democrats only campaign tactic was to throw mud at him and call him a racist and a fascist. After all, they had nothing else. Hillary was not going to run on her close ties to Goldman Sachs, her promises of more war, and more corruption. So, she had to go the mud-slinging round.
There’s an awful lot of nonsense being written by people who believed all the propaganda and mudslinging about what they think the Trump administration will bring. Its all basically useless because its based on the pack of lies that was the Hillary campaign.
In Trump’s first ‘victory tour’ speech in Ohio, he was reported as follows:
“Donald Trump promised a “new era of peace” during the first stop of his “Thank You” tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, vowing that the US will stop trying to overthrow world governments and will cooperate with countries fighting terrorism.
The president-elect also promised to cooperate with any country interested in destroying Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).
“We will partner with every nation that is willing to join us in the effort to defeat ISIS and radical Islamic terrorism,” Trump told a large crowd at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati on Thursday evening, as quoted by TASS.
“We will destroy ISIS. At the same time, we will pursue a new foreign policy that finally learns from the mistakes of the past. We will stop looking to topple regimes and overthrow governments, folks,” Trump said, as quoted by The Washington Examiner. ”
Sorry, but even though I’ve always been an American leftist, the whole American left has now basically gone insane. They believe their own propaganda. And apparently the left is now (pro-TPP, already nearly dead under Trump), pro-Goldman Sachs, and in favor of nuclear war since the idea of peace is really pissing them off right now.
This is because the left has no idea what is the real left which was in the east before its destruction, or if ever had, then the harsh propaganda which came after the disintegration of the SU and eastern block, made all this impossible to accept, due to the “atrocities” committed by the communist parties in SU and eastern Europe. In eastern Europe, the communist parties have totally disappeared from the political arena, in the west the same “example” had followed. Now they name themselves socialists, but their fruits is well known for many to see and feel. Many – sadly – still think that they are really socialists, the latest example is Austria today.
The Saker has written very intelligently about how the Russian government was a coalition between a faction of the ‘security’ apparatus and the financial faction led by Mendevev (sorry for the spelling).
Is it not inconceivable that in order to gain power in the US, winner-take-all election system that Trump has formed a similar alliance.
Back when Trump picked Pence as the VP nominee, Trump had won the nomination of the Republicans, but the party was very divided. He needed to shore up his own party, or else he’d have gotten clobbered in the general election. This helps to understand how Pence became the nominee. And, to a certain extend, probably some of his choices for his cabinet. I’d imagine that there are factions in Congress with whom he’s having to negotiate, just to get his cabinet picks approved. The Republicans do not have such a large majority in Congress for Trump to win confirmation votes if any sizeable number of neo-con leaning Republicans defect to join the Democrats in opposition.
So, I suspect deals are being made, I’ll put this person into the cabinet to gain the support of these groups and they in turn promise that they’ll support other cabinet picks as a package deal now that they’ve got the person they want.
The ‘Cabinet’ itself rarely meets and doesn’t really hold any power. Each of these secretaries does have power as the leader of their departments, but even then they really can’t directly fight the President. Trump’s “style” seems to be a personal one, and he’ll keep a small core of adivsors. That group will be the ones trying to steer the ship, while many of the cabinet secretaries in the news today will have to buy a newspaper to find out what Trump is doing.
he’ll keep a small core of adivsors
And do you know who those advisors are?
Here’s the head of his economic advisory team:
http://www.timesofisrael.com/trump-names-jewish-billionaire-to-head-economic-advisory-team/
His team is like a who’s who of Wall Street oligarchy.
Oh, and on his national security advisory team: He’s got John Bolton, Steve Yates, James Woolsey, Tom Cotton and other – neocons
Drain the Swamp? He’s the biggest croc in the swamp.
A little less hysteria, please.
Trump is an expert at taking over businesses and running them. He needs insiders who know the ropes and are also reasonable people. All high-ranking executives (business and government) have carried out policies they were personally opposed to in their careers, and supported them in public. If they hadn’t, they would never have reached upper management levels.
Read this and realize that his team knows exactly what it’s doing:

To choose agency heads with no experience because they are moral exemplars would make his administration a replay of Don Quixote, with hostile bureaucrats continually able to frustrate his efforts at reform through their detailed knowledge of established policy and procedure.
He accepted a $25 million donation ? He could write a check for that and never miss it. Do you really think you can buy a multi-billionaire for such a piddling sum?
Whatever else he may (or may not) be, Trump is not stupid. Or evil. His wealth and prominence have enabled him to indulge his carnal appetites but, human beings being as they are, this comes with the territory. Look at the private behavior of sports figures, rock stars, business moghuls, famous actors and politicians — past US presidents included. This is no new thing in the world and no serious disqualification. (For that matter, if it were, there would be many fewer high-ranking religious leaders).
Trump learned his craft in the cutthroat environment of NYC finance. I can think of no better preparation for the task ahead of him and pray for his success. It would be no bad thing IMO if more of us did, even while reserving judgment.
Roy Cohn was Donald Trump’s mentor! Connect the dots.
Saker,
It really does not make sense whether you or Mr. Engdahl or anybody else is right or wrong., All these analyses are just articles following a deception. We are already at war, and a war is a deception at first… You wrote about it and there would be just 1 winner independently of who is in charge in White House or Kremlin or anywhere else. Or no winner at all and we all be losers… Highly likely… We are running of fossil carbon energy and things will sooner or later deteriorate…. It is just a matter of time and I think president Putin already mentioned something in this area…
I think humanity has no more intelligence than the one found in rats population.Yes, we were able to come up with maths, microelectronics, etc… but we simply act the same way the rats do. Eat, spread, enjoy until you can and who cares about the future…
The future is bleak and I do not believe a sudden wake up call like Trump is going to change this fragile balance…
Have a lovely day…
LMIMKAC…
As an American deeply immersed in my own domestic politics, let me begin by telling you that this Engdahl character is, in a word, a moron. The sort of lunatic who wears aluminum foil in his hat, so the satellites can’t read his thoughts and the mind control beams can’t penetrate.
The author of the piece is far closer to the truth.
The United States is a genuine Republic with a very deep and very strong democratic tradition. As a nation we do believe in the ideals of the American Enlightenment – individual liberty, limited government, free enterprise capitalism, Judaeo-Christian values, and the fundamental principal that the state exists for the purpose of serving “We, the People”, and not the other way around.
Those flowery phrases and soaring sentiments in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution aren’t cynical propaganda: The Americans believe it with a religious fervor.
To understand Donald Trump one must understand that large swaths of the American people feel that their government has grown too large and become indifferent to their needs. Even worse, there has emerged a permanent political class that actively works AGAINST the interests of the American people, promoting instead the interests of “globalism” – international finance and business.
Donald Trump declared himself squarely against globalism – the multi lateral trade agreements, the subversion of American sovereignty to faceless bureaucrats and unaccountable international organizations. That resonated strongly with the American people. Hillary Clinton was just as emphatic in her support of globalism, making the choice a clear one.
Secondly, the very existence of a permanent political class., a sort of aristocracy, is itself contrary to American ideals. This partly accounts for the disdain felt for many towards Mrs. Clinton and Jeb Bush, and most of the other career politicians who ran against Mr. Trump. He was an outsider – the complete opposite of the aristocratic elites. That, too, resonated with the American people.
Finally, Mr. Trump espoused an appealing patriotism of a sort the elites eschew as vulgar and common. He is proud of his country and unabasedly proclaimed his love for America and our people, our traditions, and our way of life. The single most important aspect of Trump’s patriotism is his strong condemnation of open borders and illegal immigration.
Open borders and “the free movement of labor” are sacraments to the globalist, but are universally despised by the people in every country. For taking such a common sense and hugely popular stand Trump and his followers were condemned as racists, xenophobies, and nativists.
For the record, Donald Trump is the furthest thing from a racist. On the contrary he openly proclaimed that he was for ALL Americans regardless of color, and directly appealed to monorities as no Republican has in generations.
In summary, Donald Trump won the Presidency because he was able to go around the Establishment – or if you prefer “the deep state” – and appeal directly to the people using mass rallies, social media, and alternative media. And the people heard him, and despite all the best efforts of the insider elite cabal the people rose up and voted for Trump.
It’s true. There aren’t any real oligarchs in America. There aren’t really any secret societies controlling the outcomes. That’s the genius of our Republic – it’s too vast and too de-centralized for such things to happen easily.
Follow the money.
That’s where the Deciders are.
Well The Deciders didn’t get to decide much this time, did they?
We don’t yet know.
The ‘Wolves of Wall Street’ are hardly howling in the wilderness.
So far his administration is peppered with many of the usual suspects, including Goldman Sachs/J P Morgan contacts.
True statements all. But then again Trump would be a very foolish man indeed if he followed the Pol Pot model of bringing in complete neophytes who lack the specialist knowledge to formulate policy and implement changes.
The big problem Trump was elected to address is the corruption in the political establishment that has lined its pockets selling American interests short. The Chinese in particular have been very successful bribing American policy makers for favorable treatment, hollowing out the American middle class and de-industrializing huge segments of the country, impoverishing millions while making the political elites and their cronies fabulously wealthy.
For those who call Trump the “American Putin”, you should note that the “admiration” some Americans express for Vladimir Putin arises from the perception that he is a patriot who loves his country and cares about his people.
Contrast that with Obama, who considers patriotism passé and feels most comfortable apologizing to the world for his country; and Hillary Clinton, who despises half of the country as “irredeemable … a basket of deplorables”.
Since he has frequently been published here, some may be interested in Andrew Korybko’s view of the Trump election. He is from rustbelt Ohio.
http://katehon.com/article/dear-foreign-friends-heres-why-trump-won-clevelander
Thanks GrandmaR.
Andrew’s personal take comes from a deep knowledge of what’s happened to the US manufacturing base, and the knock-down consequences.
Whether Trump had any real solutions remains to be seen.
The best thing about him is his public disavowment of regime-change, and anti-globalism.
But that’s mainly good for the rest of the world. Whether or not he can get the US ‘working again’ in a non-exploitative way remains to be seen.
I’m afraid that in just the first few paragraphs I encountered several ‘hold on a minute’ moments.
“the difference between genius and crazy is in getting others to understand you”
Well, no — there are lots of crazy people around and they are much different from geniuses — even geniuses who are not understood, and crazy geniuses exist who are both.
“No foreigner can ever fully understand what happened yesterday, not even if they lived in the US for years unless they experienced what the middle class (not the academic-governmental-business class) experienced for their entire lives.”
Foreigners can understand as well as Americans if they understand how humans work because this is just normal human interaction, errors, jingoism, revolt, politics, being fed up, etc. which happens everywhere. There’s nothing unique or exceptional about Americans, really, and many foreign commentators have nailed this better than most American ones. Circuses are hardly just American phenomena.
Watson nails it.

Michael Moore is a Sack of Shit
There is some truth to what Korybko says, but it’s hardly a unique or American insider view: America is much more diverse than he implies, and most of the noise is from a very few people, who think about this a lot more than most and get off on tangents and theories. Most people just react and are quite ignorant of all these forces, and rather shallow about thier own inner being, much less politics. Mindfulness and awareness are not a big things in the US. One of the biggest factors in Trump being elected is his performance as in Wrestlemania when he shaved Macmahon’s head — showmanship. And they were fed up with what was happening, and had a thin slice gut feeling about how terrible the Clintons and the Democrats have been. They didn’t like Clinton and her smarmyness, and they knew their personal economy had been going down the tubes.
It’s like how a dogs hair stands on end and they growl when a vampire or demon gets too close — how Toto reacted to the Wicked Witch of the West. Some people have the instinct to detect psychopaths and some don’t. Working people are better connected to the real world and have better instincts for that.
As for what Trump will do, we don’t know, and it’s unlikely that even Trump knows yet, he has such mixed thoughts and emotions. He doesn’t ‘have it together’, and while smart is also fairly sophomoric in a number of areas.
Putin seems aware of this:
https://www.rt.com/news/369143-putin-trump-smart-responsibility/
““The fact that Trump managed to achieve success in business, suggests that he is a smart man,” Putin said in an interview with Russia’s NTV channel.
“And as he is smart, that means he will fully and quite quickly be aware of a different level of responsibility. We assume that he will be acting this way,” he added.”
It means that Trump is not yet aware of the responsibility, and Putin’s statement prods him to become so, laying an expectation on to him, in the form of a diplomatic compliment. Putin is expert at reading people, and should be listened to very carefully (and can also be a strong ally to Trump).
Saw that today.
Trump has had a lot of fun on the hustings, and his ‘Barnum-and-Bailey’ showmanship did a lot to shift an apathetic electorate out to vote: I’ve heard people who hadn’t voted in a decade finally ‘got out the finger.’
But, as you say, America is a big place with much diversity from successive waves of immigration.
The elites have been very good at creating a locus of identity through the control of communities via religious organizations and the perception that they are the Guardians of the Constitution.
That’s not really working anymore – there’s no symbolic or group cohesion to rally around the ‘flag’ or the McCarthyite ‘anti-Americanism (actually the military-forced capitalism that continues imperial neo-colonialism – nowhere more evident than in the Middle East. It would be a much more peaceful place if it didn’t have oil…)
I think Trump at least has started a debate about the nature of American capitalism – or it’s hijacking by globalism.
America will not come up with Marxist solutions anytime soon – most of the popular sentiment equates it with liberalism gone amok. I guess they don’t read much…
So America resorts to the ‘cult of personality’ the way an injured or despairing populace often does.
It does seem Trump and some members of his team (Bannon) have heard those ‘cries in the wilderness’.
Whether their solutions will only make matters worse – or improve them – it’s impossible to say.
The approach of direct intervention to save jobs is not sustainable in the long term, so Trump and Bannon have a steep learning curve ahead of them.
Is it my imagination, or did Putin’s statement contain a veiled invitation to benefit from his experience in dealing with a rapacious oligarchy?
If Bannon is as smart as some seem to think he is, he’ll be heading to Moscow pronto.
He’s got a lot of learning to do too.
“The approach of direct intervention to save jobs is not sustainable in the long term”
Right — but it start the engine (and we can look at the New Deal for some informaiton on it). We have large (actual) unemployment and under utilization, so direct intervention can bring that to bear to improve the economy in a sustainable way if austerity is finally given up.
Putin’s statement, and also the example of his firing the economic minister. So maybe now Trump will be ‘the apprentice’?
“I think Trump at least has started a debate about the nature of American capitalism – or it’s hijacking by globalism.” He didn’t start it but surely popularized it and brought it out to the open where people are comfortable talking about it — and Marxism may not be far behind, it already becoming permissible to say the words (as Rick Wolff has been saying).
The empire breaking up also means other ideas are breaking into the more open political space. And as the crises intensify there is more motivation for people to look around and speak out. ‘Global warming’ is also a metaphor for the global icebergs and frozen politics to to break apart (Jung would probably love this). Not at all the sort of ‘spring’ the neolibs/cons had in mind.
A ‘great awakening’ or ‘revolution of consciousness’ will not, naturally, be what all those half asleep and unconscious would expect. The unexpected is by definition not anticipated, and unpredictable. One of those unknown unknowns. Chaos does not proceed in an orderly way. Da da da dahh da daaaa.. etc.
So, how do we prepare for the unexpected? Learning all we can, working to be flexible and not jump to conclusions, maintaining parallel alternative narratives and models, making our resources and tools as robust as we can, and get a lot of good memes out that people can make productive use of. Being alert and ready to either dig in, fight or run away. First time through this video game and we don’t know what monsters, levels, dead ends, and prizes lay ahead. One of the best things about Trumps election is all the people running around — even wobbling — shouting ‘Damn! we didn’t expect that!’ Chaos is a point of freedom for change (even the neolibs/cons know that, but they didn’t expect it to kick them in their behinds). Trump has been a wonderful source of mind-blowing chaos! Almost the comedians the satirists can start working again — we can bring in 650 million of them from Scotland, in just one week.
Putin’s regime have surely thought about another chance: American new government been more friendly with Russia (pretending) but hawkish against China. Normally Empire tends the crush weakest rivals first and biggest enemy at last stage.
I checked EU’s estimation of 20 and 57 most critical strategist global raw materials. The outcome was revealing: 50-65% were controlled by BRICS-countries, while EU got just 2-5%.
First of all, let me say that Engdahl is bull’s-eye on the strategy. He covers it brilliantly. However, Engdahl doesn’t go far enough at the end. He starts by describing the separation strategy, ie the empire befriending the weaker of two of its mortal enemies to isolate the stronger, China, then he gets into the change in strategy regarding the War on Terror that was a pretext for the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. Here’s the kicker though: at least three members of Trump’s already formed team have stated that Iran is more dangerous than ISIS, well one is not yet a member, Petraeus. However Flynn and Mattis are and Pompeo stated that Tehran was intent on destroying America, essentially making the Zionist existential meme America’s as well. So there’s a tectonic shift happening : Iran is replacing ISIS and Al-Qaeda as the Number One Global Terror Threat in the Zionist/Neocon lexicon or should I say the narrative of fear to be used against the masses as incentive to make another war a palatable necessity. Now we all know how 9/11 was used to incite revenge therefore war; well, if fake intelligence doesn’t work expect another incident to create the casus belli against Iran.
In the end Engdahl should have come full circle tying up the befriending the weaker of two mortal enemies strategy with the strategy to replace ISIS in the category of Number One Terrorist Organization therefore creating a casus belli against Iran similar to the one used for the invasion of Iraq.
Netanyahu was disappointed with PNAC’s round-about way of getting to the main event, destroying Iran, but Zionist American Neocons after the fall of the Soviet Union needed to create a much more ambitious enemy target to rally the masses; as China’s influence was growing while Russia’s power was diminishing with the fall of the SU, and was no longer militarily capable to take on the U.S. and NATO. However China and Russia together make up the empire’s worst nightmare and represent the balance of power that the empire fears.
The plan was to take over Iraq, Syria and Iran and install U.S. bases and take over all the oil routes in the region to control the flow of oil and gas. Whoever controls these vital routes and resources is ensured world domination.
Try to compare Iran’s influence in the Middle East to China’s global influence, both are a grave threat to the Anglo/Zionist empire for more than one reason: China militarily, financially and geopolitically and Iran because it sits on a treasure-trove of oil and gas wealth and is a geopolitical threat to Israel and the salafi/Wahhabi kingdom.
Iran and Russia are therefore the road to undermining China’s growing geopolitical/diplomatic influence and power. First you destroy SCO by creating division between China and Russia and then you destroy Iran, control the wealth of Persian Gulf commerce and suddenly China is at the mercy of the Anglo/Zionist Empire for its oil and gas.
But that’s not all, Taiwan will also play a strategic role in bringing China to its knees, and this is why John Bolton and Steve Yates were in Trump’s sphere of influence when that call between Taiwan’s President and Trump happened. Steve Yates was Cheney’s top Neocon China advisor and it’s no surprise that he is also part of Trump’s advisory committee.
Make no mistake, Russia is still a formidable threat to the Empire and proved it by frustrating the PNAC plan for Syria; but if Putin let’s this plan B as Engdahl refers to it happen, Russia will eventually find itself in the crosshairs again and in a much weaker position than it is in today. If the empire succeeds in weakening China by neutralizing Iran; it’s game over for Russia as well.
And let me say this; you’ll note that a bizarre rapprochement started happening between Netanyahu and Putin even though Netanyahu must have been foaming at the mouth when Russia intervened in Syria, and this even before Trump was being cordial with Putin. So the change in policy was already happening with Netanyahu once PNAC’s plan was scuttled in Syria.
The plan for the Empire however is still one and the same; the only aspect changing is the strategy on how to achieve it and Trump was the godsend that Zionist/Neocons needed to put it in motion. Hillary lacked the charisma, connecting theme with the masses and the revised strategic vision to make it happen.
You can bet that the empire will try to make Putin an offer he can’t refuse to look the other way on Iran. Beware of Zionists bearing gifts; or a horse’s head. It could be a bribe with a hidden agenda or it could be an ultimatum.
So Trump is rebuilding America’s defenses (PNAC term) with a plan to inject about a trillion into the MIC and gunning for Iran and China and ironically Putin will be the catalyst that will either make or break the empire. It will all depend on whether he is as clever as the reputation that precedes him and whether he has the fortitude to resist what the empire will throw his way. What worries me is that Russia was outfoxed in the fall of the Soviet Union, and outfoxed in Iraq and Libya.
Will this be China’s moment? Will China do for Iran what Russia did for Syria? China has held back for now; but Tehran is the road to China; and this is an existential cause that China’s leaders can easily use to rally their people. Maybe Iran has a port it can rent out to the Chinese fleet; just for deterrence purposes…for now.
Here’s an interesting quote from a 2006 article on the subject that China’s leaders would be wise to heed.:
If conflict with China is inevitable, it makes sense to have U.S. bases in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq and maybe Iran and Syria. If China is dependent on Middle East oil, it makes sense for the U.S. to be able to control how and where it flows from the Caspian Sea and Persian Gulf oil fields.
and it also spells out the premise of the Zionist manifesto:
They are equipped with a philosophical outlook that justifies the use of hyped, imagined threats to unite the masses behind rulers’ objectives and ambitions, to suppress dissent and control through fear. They’re inclined to identify each new target as “a new Hitler,” and to justify their actions as “an answer to the Holocaust.
And finally lurking in the shadows, he’s still in control:
For the moment, at least, the war party led by Dick Cheney remains in ascendancy.
http://www.counterpunch.org/2006/04/20/cheney-the-neocons-and-china/
Or is the Neocon war party led by Netanyahu: the new King of the Jews? No, not David; Goliath and is PNAC the manifesto; the mein kampf of Zionism? Remember a year after Clean Break was authored PNAC was created and no doubt Netanyahu was pleased with how it evolved on paper.
Who would have thought that because of Iran, China is the unspoken enemy of Zionism.
China has already begun building a naval base in Djibouti and already has a number of smaller bases on the Indian Ocean:
http://thediplomat.com/2016/04/why-chinas-djibouti-presence-matters/
I think you are onto something with the neocon plan for the Middle East. Looking at the map it is evident that the encirclement of Iran was the goal in the invasion of Iraq. Everything else was merely a pretext.
But don’t read too much into it. Despite their power and apparent erudition the neocons really aren’t that clever.
Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, and a threat to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and American interests in the region. Period.
The election of Obama was a critical turning point. Barack Obama is a fool, a radical college lecturer (not even a full professor). Obama deliberately upended the plan put in place by George W. Bush out of personal spite, leaving Iraq to fall into chaos when the United States was on the verge of creating a solid pro-American state on Iran’s doorstep.
Then, he compounded this error by installing Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. Obama is lazy and detached, with little interest in international affairs. Clinton, a rudderless neophyte with no real knowledge of history or policy, rampaged across the Middle East like a bull in a china shop, haphazardly toppling regimes (including US allies!!) for a variety of short-sighted reasons. For example, she overthrew the Khadaffi regime for no other reason but domestic political consumption: A leaked email shows political advisor Sydney Blumenthal gushing that the overthrow of Khadaffi was her crowning achievement, her express ticket to the Presidency.
A remarkably short-sighted assessment of Clinton.
The first thing the invaders did was make a beeline for Libya’s treasury and seize the gold deposited there.
Follow the money trail.
I would agree with Saker, even as I as him, have a great respect to Mr. Engdahl.
Additionally, I would like to recommend to all of you to look in a speech the main strategist of Mr Trump (Mr S. Bannon) keep couple months ago:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nTd2ZAX_tc
For me it looks obvious that Trump and his team are NOT a part of the ruling elites.
I think Putin and Xi can do something with Mr Bannon, in terms of avoiding World War 3.
What makes all of this very, very hairy is the dimensions of the insolvency of the USA and the western banking system, and the tendency to go nuts when your assets start burning and turning to toxic fumes. This is the traditional opening to abandoning reason and throwing caution to the winds by “letting loose the dogs of war” to try to save some of your bacon (fat) when the prospect of “losing the whole ranch” is staring you in the face.
However, Bannon and Trump do know that a “nice little war” with Russia to sustain popularity with a tidal wave of unthinking “patriotism” does not function in 2016. The American people know that as well, on some level at least, which is why the MSM and Hitlery anti-Russia campaign strategy was a loser.
I agree with Engdahl that the major portion of American elites is fear bound and hell bent on crushing ANY serious international competition. However I disagree that Trump (mostly because of this guy Bannon appearing quite sane , to me at least) is similarly hellbent.
A lot of Trump’s China and Iran rhetoric is bellicose because even the “good” American people Bannon speaks to in your link are mostly ignorant of world history and classical culture (sorry, my fellow Americans, “Country” music, Rock, Hip-Hop and Rap are pathetic and stupid ) , and it will definitely be tense, but as long as the treacherous straits of the next decade are well navigated by Putin and Xi, and a win/win/win deal can be put together for a real Negotiator Trump,in place of the “Everything goes up in mushroom clouds, because we don’t have the will or imagination to see the way out of this!” option and Bannon and Trump can be offered a way out (and it does exist….this does NOT have to be a zero sum game) I do have some reserved hope that Trump might take “The Better Deal”.
The key is dialogue with Putin on Eurasia, and dealing with the coming meltdown of phony assets and income streams Americans depend upon, so they get through that coming challenge without losing their minds.
Step 1: Restoration of Glass-Steagall Bring the Gods of Money (a title of one of Engdahl’s books) down off their precarious perch on Mt Olympus, the way FDR did in 1933. Trump avowed his support for doing exactly that in a campaign rally in North Carolina a week before the election.
Step 2: National Banking….End the bankrupt Fed and support the demise of private central banking in Europe as well, while encouraging Russia also to have a sovereign National Bank of Russia per the advice of Sergei Glazyev, et al.
Step 3: Massive increases in investments that raise the productivity of labor (For Humanity, not just us exceptional Americans!!!……and there is another interpretation of that “trigger” word that is Different in Bannon’s usage, from that of Obomber, and not to be disparaged with near the disgust that Obama’s use of the word deserves………) worldwide and change everything, in terms of alleviating the desperation that drives mankind into wars. And not just “information technology”. Water, Energy, Manufacturing, Transport. Non GMO agriculture. This means space technology, water projects NAWAPA…..North American Water and Power Alliance which essentially died Nov 22, 1963 in Dallas, as asleep Americans allowed The Dulles brothers, the Bush Dynasty etc, to murder the remaining “republican” (not the party) commitment in them and have Empire forced down their throats by a bunch of Luciferians run amok with greed and evil intent.
Step 4: Crash program for Fusion Energy development (the Chinese are leaders there…..already planning on bringing Helium 3 back from the moon…one spacecraft returning with a load of that stuff packs the energy equivalent of a coal train from LA to San Francisco…….might just solve their energy problem, no???) It means joining OBOR instead of trying to stop it with Wahhabi funded terrorism. Such a DEAL!! It means no more Malthusian excuse for the Empire to plan massive depopulation and genocide, worldwide. Which is the underlying cause driving this entire geopolitical nightmare of the last few decades, in particular.
We can do this. Will it be easy? No. But it CAN be done. It’s a matter of WILL. Not will to dominate. Will to ascend out of the muck of base (beast) consciousness to a human consciousness. This is DOING love, not just thinking and feeling love.
It has been said that in terms of statecraft, Americans play checkers and the Russians play chess.
The Russian analytical perspective Is sophisticated and is often astonished at the moves made by the Americans. Tremendous consternation arises as the Russian attempts to discern the deeper meaning of a gambit when there isn’t one.
It reminds me of an old Tom Hanks comedy, “The Man with One Red Shoe”. In the film a spy dupes the counter-intelligence agency into following a man who is not a spy; the comedy arises from the counter-intelligence theories of the hidden meaning of innocent acts. The title is a prime example. The agency thinks the man wears two different color shoes as a signal, overlooking the obvious: He has lost a shoe.
Nice story, and sorry to quibble, but apparently the man in the Hanks comedy lost TWO shoes:
The complement to both unmatched shoes he chose to wear.
If it were only one shoe he lost, he would still have the other pair of matched left and right shoes of the same color. Unless he so preferred the red shoe that he would rather have it unmatched but on one of his feet, rather than have a matched pair of the other color on both feet.
In a silly way of spoofing a serious business, it is rather funny.
But I doubt it will throw the Russians off. It’s multi-dimensional chess they play, I am fairly sure, not two dimensional chess. They leave the simpler variety to pro NWO dupe Gary Kasparov.
The higher ups in the media decide the coverage candidates receive. Those who are to be inhibited get as little coverage as possible– Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein.
Such negative pecking that Trump received was not intended to be mortal. It cannot be that the worst anyone knows about him is a little locker-room bragging.
It was NEVER possible that Hillary was to be the President. The main job of the President is to make some fraction of Americans approve or at least stand still for the next round of what the oligarchs do to us– a role for which Hillary was entirely unsuited; her negatives were always known to be too high.
Trump’s mastery of contradictory messages serves to give as many Americans as possible a wait-and-see attitude while important consolidation of the NWO occurs. This is vastly buttressed by the pretense that the establishment is panicked: They MUST act this way; if they didn’t we wd realize that Trump is just another like all those since Kennedy.
The Soros-funded demonstrations & recounts serve this purpose, plus they are destabilizing. As always, civil disturbance causes citizens to project their anger on each other rather than on the oligarchs. If this were happening in a different country we would have no difficulty understanding it.
Totally agree, and besides, another data to take into account, the other day, I was reading an article in a Spanish site which dismantled the belief that it is mainly blue-collar electorate who have voted for Trump, but besides an important sector of middle-class well educated US citizens from 50.000$ annual income forward ( just those represented by Bannon, and, I am guessing, by the overwheminlgy support has been, those represented mainly in this blog ), hence the explanation on why Hillary Clinton has won the poplular vote, since most of those under 49.000$ income, who I suppose are majority in the US, have voted for her.
That, on one hand, come to deny the so alleged here awareness of the US workers on the failing of the stablishment and the need to reset or dismantle it, since all those peoples thought, at least as a last resort, that a candidate like Hillary Clinton could be of any use for them, but at the same time, at least, they were hopefull aware on that a candidate like Trump has nothing to offer to the masses of US workers.
So, not so much for the MSM failing in brainwashing the people on accepting Hillary Clinton and so much for the awareness of the people that a representative of the oligarchic class would never be an accurate representive for them.
That would depend on the definition of ‘blue collar’.
The Democrat Party has a strong base in the cities – especially the so/called ‘sanctuary cities.’
They are especially strong with the inner city poor and welfare dependants, as well as with Latino and black electorates
These are not really the ‘blue/collar’ Rust Belt voters who come overwhelmingly from the damaged manufacturing sector, and who were mostly – those who bothered to vote, because the turnout was far from comprehensive for the two-party duopoly – for Trump.
The educated vote choosing Trump in marginal preference to Clinton is better explained by conservatism, rather than income: many resent the Federal overreach into personal areas of social relations (the ‘bathroom wars’, based on an initiative by a convicted pederast) and widespread hostility to Common Core education.
While income statistics are useful in some ways, they are far from giving insights into motivation: other factors do come into play, especially for the better-off.
I find interesting to bring in here the always measured position of Ray McGovern, in this case on Trump´s team:
http://raymcgovern.com/2016/11/21/trumps-national-security-team-a-sharp-departure-in-us-foreign-policy/

Look,
Trump admin’s possibly going to target IRAN and CHINA. He said as much, and his alliances are in total agreement.
The admin will try to break the nexus. A potential war with either country might be more real than under Obama even. We don’t know yet. It could start with a diversion. Kashmir, Turkey are very possible flashpoints. Taiwan or even Hong Kong could be another entry point.
All I am saying is BEWARE.
Bear in mind: Trump lives in NYC for most of his life. NYC is the bastion of Yankee liberalism and New England elitism. Trump has been exposed to that liberalism and elitism through his wealthy contemporaries and powerful associates for decades. He knows their ways, their tricks, their businesses, and their baloney. Trump masters them to his advantages and he does not owe these people anything.
In the coming months, we will see some of these Yankee liberalism and New England elitism emerging from President Donald Trump through his upcoming policies. But he has surprises up in his fancy sleeves and not ready to reveal them…yet. He is not as dumb as you think he is and his boisterous tweets are his way of generating attention to the issues, not only just himself.
Simply put – I don’t think that Trump will be the “American Putin”.
First things first. In order to dismantle the US global empire, you first need a Gorbachev, who says that the old ways no longer work. The US empire is now virtually in 1985. It will take a few years until the US empire really will unravel and the troops will go home.
Trump = Gorbachev
(although the characters couldn’t be more different)
And it remains to be seen if he can be a Putin later.
Gorbachev called into question the ideological backbone of the USSR, when everybody knew that total central planning is a lousy economic system.
Trump did the same when he announced that the ideological backbone of the US, namely political correctness, a sort of kosher Sharia, no longer applied and his supporters loved that message.
By revoking political correctness, Trump essentially pulled the rug from under the US empire. Trump attempts to morph the US from an empire into a normal country again (“America First”). Furthermore, the Republican Party essentially has changed into the White Party. Hardly any non-white votes Republican. This implies that in the not too distant future America will fall apart in a West coast + South-West (returning to Mexico), Middle America, East Coast. The USSR fell apart along ethnic lines after the fall of communism. When America finally abandons empire, it will fall apart along ethnic lines as well. Middle America could roughly coincide with the Mississippi basin:

Probably only a part of the Anglozi elite has grasped that their current policies have induced a unified front against their Full Spectrum Dominance. They have not given up the dreams of the dominion but this countercoup has made them realize that a better approach would be to divide and conquer. From their internal struggle a Trumpetist figure emerged victorious for now.
The onus is on the resistance axis to prove that they are smarter than Bush as “fool me once, shame on — shame on you, fool me — you can’t get fooled again”.

Russia/Putin will break EU, IOC, NATO, NAFTA, G7 and finally USA into pieces. He is ready for cold war 2 and WW 3. Both Engdahl and the Saker are mistaken about the neocon project. It was never really about a new American century. It is about a new ISRAELI century. The same ethnic mob, which has no dual loyalties whatsoever, only one single loyalty (to the psychopaths at the top of their tribal hierarchy and allied demonic forces) is turning “creative destruction” against the USA, just as it turned it against Russia in the 1990s and the Middle East after their coup on 9/11. The goal is Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates, and a World Dictator a.k.a. the Antichrist ruling the world from Jerusalem. Trump is easily manipulable, and the 9/11 perps surrounding him will point him in whichever direction they want to go, possibly starting with a US war on Iran that inflicts massive damage on both countries, and creates enough “fog of war” to allow the final ethnic cleansing of Palestine, and another expansion of Israel’s unofficial “borders.” And please note that these criminals have nearly as much influence in Russia as they have in the US. The oligarchs who really run Russia, with Putin serving as referee, are all dual citizens (but not dual loyalists – they have no loyalty whatsoever to Russia).
Trump wants war against Iran, he is surrounded in his private and personal life with elite Zionist Jews, bankers, real estate moguls, etc. The chances he is not going to follow Zionist war plans seems infinitesimally small based on his deep connections to Zionists and based on his own words.
What else do we have to judge someone on? Those two criteria I mentioned would objectively by the most obvious and important. Based on those criteria it is extremely likely he is going to continue covertly and overtly pushing the Zionist war agenda. Just as Obama did, even though in his rhetoric he said he was tired of wars. Ha ha. Why get fooled again. The burden of proof is on Trump so let’s see if he can disprove what look INEVITABLE
