I like his sense of humor.
No, no honor or guts at the top. It will take a real hammering for things to change. Hopefully Nov. starts to get rid of the trash running the show. Not holding my breath.
Definitely don’t hold your breath!
As a long time analyst of western ‘media’, I’ll tell you today that the deep state will insure that the republicans take only a fairly small and very controllable magority in the House.
The Senate will be successfully stolen for continued, and expanded demonratic control.
Social unrest will explode not only in the former ‘united states’, but also near universally, including in Russia.
In my firmly held opinion humanity is just now about to enter its darkest times.
Zero way out.
As stupid as the owners/rulers of the world are, I predict that they will succeed in their Great Reset efforts in impoverishing and enslaving the population of the world unless mankind awakens. Which they probably won’t.
I personally think that Dostoevsky was a much better writer that Tolstoy (even though he was a reactionary).
Russia is a “mystery inside an enigma” to the Western leaders because the Western leaders are ethnocentric morons.
Andrei has been reluctant to criticize Roger waters harshly. I am not. His open letter to Putin is an insult especially where he says that if Putin doesn’t agree to what he suggests then “F ck You”.
Part of what Waters suggests is that Putin promise not to “invade” any territories that are not Russian speaking. It is apparent that he doesn.t realize that Odessa and Kharkov are Russian speaking.
Roger, nobody gives a f ck what you think, especially in Russia. You’re not that important.
I knew Waters was an idiot when he supported Bernie Sanders. Sanders has voted for many US wars including the bombing of Serbia.
It is a common phenomenon that artists when they reach old age and are facing death don’t have the courage to look within and instead get involved in politics as an escape from themselves.
Thanks Andrei, especially about the experts like General Mark Hertling (hurtling towards disaster, perhaps?!)
The disgraceful behavior of Jake Sullivan, with months of messages “warning Russia not to use nukes in Ukraine” to goad Putin into reacting then accusing him of threatening to use them is typical of the Biden “administration”.
LOL “Had their arses kicked by guys in sandals.” That says it all. The US military is a joke.
Good one Andrei.
For the past seven months, in order to offset the incessant propaganda surrounding the SMO, I’ve relied on a quick, simple — and I have to say, rather crude — yardstick with which to measure Russia’s success, or lack thereof, in the said SMO. And that yardstick involves primarily looking at: a) whether the Ukraine is getting demilitarised and denazified as per the stated aims of the SMO and b) territory gained (or lost) by RF/LDNR.
If I may be allowed to indulge in a bit of vanity, I call it the Cobalt Index or CI.
Now, according to the CI: a) the Ukraine is getting demilitarised and denazified by the day, and every day; and b) today, that is 27 Sept 2022, the last day of voting in the referendums, RF is on the cusp of gaining territory that is larger than Bulgaria and just a tad smaller than England plus six million new Russian citizens — citizens mind you, not people under occupation.
Even a person with the intellect of a doorknob can see that the SMO is succeeding, and succeeding spectacularly. The West can say what they want, they can lie to their heart’s content, but nothing is going to change the fact that a) the the Ukraine is starting on its path to losing its statehood, and the map of Europe is being redrawn — a consequence of reneging on the Minsk agreements, something that has been repeatedly stated by Russia more than a year ago; and b) Russia actually doesn’t give a fig about what the West thinks or says it is doing in the Ukraine. If memory serves, Macron was snubbed when he tried to call Putin prior to the referendums, a sure sign that now, as far RF is concerned, the West can bugger off.
Concerning the stupidity of those elites that are running things in the West: There is also conformism, in fact two-fold conformism, firstly of doctrine, secondly of ability and competence. No-one likes to stick his head out, to make waves. But I do wonder what will happen when it becomes apparent that the main-stream narrative is false.
Possibly of interest: This particular discourse of Andrei’s rings several bells in my heart and head. As an American born and bred, I think the bells play a fetching tune, especially for my personal career, about which I won’t elaborate.
“So here it is,” as Andrei would say, my notes and development based on this particularly fine discourse of Andrei’s:
Understanding Russia
