Information from very reliable sources. These sources are in Novorossiya, Russian Federation, EU and Ukraine:
29.07.2014 in afternoon Ukraine time 4 SS-21 Tochka tactical ballistic missiles were fired by Ukraine Armed Forces. At least two were clearly aimed at Saur Moglia with the idea of the Ukes trapped in The Cauldron having a sudden escape route opened for them. Moments before launch Russian Federation units surged toward the border at The Cauldron area and to the north of The Cauldron.
None of the 4 Tochka missiles reached their targets. I repeat, none of the 4 Tochka missiles reached their targets and none impacted with the ground anywhere that can be found in anything close to one piece. As you know this missile can carry a tactical nuke, chem/bio, cluster munition or HE in the weight of just under 500 kilos.
When the 4 missiles failed to reach their targets the Armed Forces of RF immediately halted their surge and held position. They are in the same positions 30.07.2014.
There has been a noticeable slow down of fighting activity since the launches and Strelkov has pointedly said again that Novorossiya is open to negotiations.
The 4 Tochka missiles were shot down over Novorossiya territory occupied by Ukraine Armed Forces before the missiles reached their programmed height. They were shot down from inside RF according to normally reliable sources. No visual evidence has been provided of RF shooting down the Tochka systems nor of the system used to shoot down the Tochka missiles.

Well. The old playing field appears to have been leveled just a bit. And for the first time since WWII, I think.
Hopefully this is a message the monster-in-chief and all his various assorted cohorts are capable of reading.

U.S. Air Force General arrives in Kiev, and just as every other time a top U.S. official arrives, there is escalation of the Ukie offensive.
Russian Federation anti-missile defenses working along the border.
Kiev is walking the top edge of a very high building, following orders from Washington. Suicidal games that the U.S. is engineering, hoping the world will call it murder when Kiev tumbles.
“Desperation on the cusp of madness” to steal a quote from Mike Rivero of WRH. Are the fascists in panic mode or are their overlords panicing? This is either a clumsy attempt to engage the RF dreamed up in the bowels of Washington or the desertion/death & injury rate of the regime that was leaked the other day has merit. Of course it may have been a “test” to gauge the RF reactions & speed of such.
Tis a real shame that the militia doesn’t have a couple of thousand extra fighters. That would probably allow them to go on the offensive, finish off those in the cauldron, then to really start ramming home their advantage – that they are fighting to protect kith & kin as opposed to the conscripts who mainly just want to stay alive. Cheers

Ahem. Several Russian Tu-95MS bombers flew over the Arctic yesterday. Advance planning, strict compliance — um, advance planning… I think Glazev’s cautions were and are taken quite seriously. Thank God.
Gonna be a lot more accidents, crashes and explosions all over the RF in the near future, methinks.

So Russia used unknown anti-missile tech to destroy these Russian designed missiles- wonderful, and presumably a lesson in the foolishness of turning sophisticated weapons systems against the nation that designed, built them (can you say “backdoor”). However, let us think about this again.
The missiles were fired under direct US command. Why? Because the Americans wanted to gather battlefield intelligence- on the missile itself, on Russia’s tactical response capability, and Kiev’s thinking about their arms from the ‘East’. Nothing good for our side whatsoever.
It is a common US tactic to illegally fly their war planes across the airspace of all non-first-world nations, to see what radar and other defence systems “LIGHT UP”. This then provides American with an up-to-date list of first wave attack targets that will completely disable the air defences of that nation. US satellites and US spy planes attempt to achieve the same goal using various forms of electro-magnetic radiation sensors.
The Kiev war machine is the US war machine, but just as politics ‘forced’ the demonic racist filth of Israel to begin their bombing campaign with ‘minimal’ Human casualties (now they can slaughter without constraint), the US cannot immediately roll in obvious US arms or troops into Ukraine.
As has been pointed out to everyone, the US has the Ukraine on a maximum war-footing, with total forced conscription (leaky as hell, but building up numbers of fighting men day-by-day) and full-on production of battlefield armour. The USA uses these preparations to disguise massive amounts of armour and mercenaries moved into Ukraine via its neighbours, especially Poland.
Russian covert support gives the defenders of Novorussia a current ‘ultra-tech’ advantage, but America doesn’t want or expect these forms of high-tech warfare to dominate anyway. For the Humans of Gaza, with ZERO means of self-defence, slaughtering them with the most sophisticated weapons sexual excites the leading zionists. But Novorussia is a much more practical battlefield.
Look to Iraq- look to Syria. This is what Obama’s puppet masters want for Russia’s Western border- and increasingly deeply into Russia proper. A never ending terror-war driven by ‘ethnic’ hatreds.
Of course it is THE goal of Kiev to march their forces into Crimea before the year’s end. Kiev’s madmen will be told that this will be the ultimate game of ‘chicken’, and once again Putin will back down. But this is the one occasion Putin cannot back down, so Putin will engage the attacking Kiev forces, and the US will have won.
The sanctions, the unthinkable numbers of deaths, the coming war between NATO and Russia- all because Putin refused to send peace-keepers into Novorussia. And tens of billions have been spent in the West’s military intelligence psy-ops to persuade Putin NOT to liberate Novorussia.
“Strelkov has pointedly said again that Novorossiya is open to negotiations.”
how do you interpret this?
If the usually reliable Juan is correct & Russia shot down the SS-21s.. that is rather huge. Indicates Russia’s red line and it seems to have scared Poroshenko into trying to arrange peace talks.
Saker,we must be prepared to acknowledge facts as they are or our analysis of events will be faulty. One of the basic fact that has eluded our analysis thus far is that the events in Palestine are directly related to events in Ukraine.
Israel is directly involved in events unfolding in Keiv.
Take a look at this post from the Times of Israel and tell me what you think???

The S-400 system uses a combination of three different types of missile to engage targets at up to 250 miles (40N6 missile), 160 miles (48N6 missile) and 70 miles (9M96 missile), according to globalsecurity.org. – See more at: http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=144191#sthash.vlt4wZGV.dpuf
This is what was probably used. Tested first in 2012, and now a staple of Southern District defenses.
And China is about to get them.
Code named the SA-21 Growler, the S-400 system is an upgrade of the S-300 missile system, and features three different missiles, including the extremely long-range 40N6, 48N6 long-range, and a 9M96 medium-range missile.
Russia currently has four operational S-400 regiments, including two in the Moscow region, one in the Baltic Fleet and one in the Eastern Military District.
You do realise you are providing great ammo for the US by claiming this? They want to say Russia is arming the rebels an use that as an excuse to further arm the Kiev junta and even maybe send in their own ground troops.
Even if you think it’s true, might be wise to back-pedal until the Russians say so themselves? Don;t do the US propagandists work for them
I bet the ABM missiles used were about 1% of the cost of the SM-3.
… and seem to work!
These guys are good.
Borodai says Kiev is basically into genocide. The missiles are reported as capable of carrying even so-called tactical nukes which of course would have serious consequences for everyone in the neighbourhood including RF. Russia may therefore perhaps point to international law to justify such intervention. I’m no expert, but I think this is conceivable. Even if not carrying nukes, the very possibility may well be sufficient to legally justify Russia’s interception action. Interestingly, the Russians may have done something similar in Syria, since – after the chem attack false flag last autumn – a missile launch from a US ship is said to have taken place against Damascus. But it is said the Russians shot the US missile/missiles down. If that story’s true, the US was outside int’l law and Russia was acting in a situation perhaps not contemplated by int’l law, but lifesaving, or at least not contemplated in the absence of defence treaty between Syria and Russia (sthg along the lines of NATO among NATO members). That’s what I think, at least. In any case, I think, legally, country A has some leeway to intervene when immediate neighbour country B implodes and thus threatens the stability of country A. Possible use of nukes and concrete reasons to believe in such an eventuality (eg use of compatible armaments) will per se threaten that stability on all levels.
The title of this post has the wrong date (July 20). Please change this to avoid confusion.

Well the S-400 is supposed to be able to hit ballistic missiles so I guess that’s what took them down, crazy fuckers firing them towards the Russian border. I think Kiev would have been within a bee’s dick from glowing in the dark.
This is really incredible news. Almost unbelievable, except for one *very* curious fact.
CNN would never have mentioned the use of SS-21 missiles being launched by Porky if they had worked…
This sounds like a real gamechanger. If RF really has ABM defenses like that, perhaps the Zionists are starting to finally realize that they will *NOT* win in Eastern Ukraine.
This story has legs…
Did you mean to write July 30th in the title?
Wonderful news!
OK finally we see a Russian line in the sand.
Most readers of this blog see the RF as the “good guys”, I think, but they are clearly being provoked massively with these ballistic missiles. It will do no harm to show the US and Europe the capability of Russian forces. Will the RF shoot down of the missiles make it into mainstream western media? I doubt it, for some reason.

At the time, April 2014, I thought it was an RC model (scale / distance is difficult to judge). I guess I was wrong and it was the real McCoy.

That’s amazing! I hope the Ukies and their CIA controllers are (a) flabbergasted and (b) suitably impressed by the RF’s ability to counter any form of attack they might try. Presumably the RF was well prepared for the launch of these missiles (having been informed in advance of the Ukie intent by agents in a position to know) and RF radar coverage detected the launches immediately.
So this is what it will take to get the Russians to respond. Ballistic missile launches. Funny how that game changer was obscured in the Corporate Media

Read somewhere UA has got about 25 such missiles. If only one of them goes through – I would be for overt Russian use of missiles. The resistance shall provide exact coordinates of UA army amassed locations. Three UA location hits and the all the UA army will leave Donbass in a hurry and never look back.

Pepe Escobar on the “sanity” of the current sanctions regime against Russia:
So Obama, Merkel, Cameron, Hollande and Italian Premier Matteo Renzi – let’s call them the Fab Five – get on a video conference call to muster their courage and “increase pressure” asking for a cease-fire in Gaza. Later in the day, Israel’s Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu delivers his answer, in plain language: he remains dead set on achieving his version of a Final Solution to Gaza. [1] With or without “pressure”.
So what’s left for the Fab Five after having their illustrious Western collective behinds solemnly kicked? They decide to dump Gaza and instead sanction Russia – again! How brilliant is that as an exit strategy?
Spectacular non-entity Tony Blinken, who doubles as deputy national security adviser to Barack Obama, was keen to stress to Western corporate media that the unruly Eurotrash mob is now “determined to act”. No, not against Israel because of Gaza; against Russia because of Ukraine. Such a lovely Orwellian symmetry: the extended Two Minutes Hate from Israel towards Gazans morphs into the extended Two Minutes Hate from the “West” towards Russia, mirroring the extended Two Minutes Hate from Kiev towards Eastern Ukrainians.
Not even Hollywood could come up with such a plot; Israel gets away with unlawful premeditated mass murder of civilians, while Russia gets framed for a (smaller-scale) airborne mass murder of civilians that has all the makings of being set up by the Kiev vassals of Russia’s Western “partners”.

Andrew Korybko on the imploding junta regime in Kiev:
In the run-up to the most recent stage of institutional collapse, Kiev had found itself in a conundrum. After revving up the population for so-called Western integration and signing the EU Association Agreement and receiving IMF loans, the Rada realized that none of its members wanted to be responsible for implementing the brutal economic ‘tweaks’ that both of them necessitate. This is the immediate cause of the current Rada crisis – everyone wanted to ‘join the West’, but no one wanted to take electoral responsible for what that truly means.
Concurrent to this, Ukraine also banned one of its consistently largest political parties, the Communist Party, which polled 15% at the last legitimate election in 2012. For a country trying to ingratiate itself with ‘Western values’, it is contradictory that it would carry out such a policy, however, it cannot be said to be unexpected. After all, there had been loud calls for lustration ever since the February coup against legitimate president Yanukovich. This policy of political (and therefore, social) exclusion has been aided by the nationalist and fascist forces that have swept to power and influence in Ukraine in recent months.

Yatsenyuk was not simply a technocrat (and we all know there has never been a new or innovative idea, EVER, from such types), he was a relatively little regarded technocrat IN HIS OWN COUNTRY JUST SIX MONTHS AGO. At the beginning of the year he trailed in local popularity to figures such as the boxer Vitali Klitschko and the rather wild nationalist leader, Oleh Tyahnybok. This is not exactly inspiring pedigree to pin your political future to as a country. But what Yatsenyuk had was the interest of the European Union and the United States. Again, not because he was particularly awe-inspiring or truly seemed to stand out amongst all possible choices for a better and stable Ukraine: he was the candidate who was most willing to maintain a staunch opposition to whatever maneuvers or initiatives came out of Russia while also not having many independent ideas of his own. And that revealed itself to be one of the major stumbling blocks to closing the chapter on the Ukrainian conflict.
So what did ‘Yatsenyuk’ leadership actually translate to? Basically, economic austerity and political frigidity toward Russia. That’s it. That’s all it was. On the economic side I would be hard-pressed to find any objective financial observer to say Ukraine’s best bet is to look admiringly at what Greece did to itself while trying to follow EU austerity plans and rules. And yet Yatsenyuk’s ideas didn’t evolve much beyond that position. On the political side I would be hard-pressed to find any truly objective foreign affairs advisor that would think ignoring Russia or dismissively pushing away any and all attempts at negotiations and peace-talks that came from Moscow as being sane and rational. But that is what Yatsenyuk did and continued to do repeatedly. Because this was what the EU wanted and he had hitched his wagon exclusively to it.

US economic and military aid to Israel is measured annually in the billions, and the US government continues to be Israel’s strongest and most ardent ally and political benefactor. In fact, the US-Israel “special relationship” is getting more “special” by the day even though Israel is sinking further into the abyss of a well-deserved isolation.
True, there are some, even in the justice for the Palestinians camp, who oddly speak of how exceptional and fair the Barack Obama Administration has been in comparison to its predecessors. However, they neglect the fact that aside from a few particularly strong-worded statements, Obama has been a dedicated stalwart on behalf of Israel and its security by going as far as defending Israel’s ‘Operation Protective Edge’ war – the slaughter of thousands of innocent civilians in Gaza.
But America’s support for Israel is crossing new red lines. There are reportedly over 1,000 US citizens fighting in the Israeli army according to reports that are now resurfacing due to the recent killing of two US-Israeli soldiers – Max Steinberg, 24, of California, and Nissim Sean Carmeli, 21, of Texas. Like the rest of the IDF soldiers killed in recent fighting, they were killed while invading parts of the besieged Gaza Strip. But the number must be an understatement since some of Israel’s most ardent Jewish settlers are also American, and happen to be armed and dangerous. Although this is causing a bit of a media buzz, there is no political crisis. Instead, only condolences are offered to the families of the Americans fighting the genocidal war on Gaza.

“Grandpa, why are they killing kids in Gaza?”
A deep breath to compose my thoughts.
“You said most people were good, but I think only bad people could drop bombs on little kids. There was a boy crying on TV. He lost his whole family.”
“Most people are good but sometimes they do bad things,” I answered.
Back came the inevitable: “Why?”
“Because of greed and bad ideas. Those are the two main reasons people do bad stuff.”
Her expectant stare caused a moment of panic. She needed an explanation. She needed the truth. But the dilemma in explaining war to a seven year old is that simple answers — “these are the good guys and those are the bad guys” — are part of the problem. Simple answers limit critical thinking and enable those who profit from war to manipulate people. How could I explain a complicated subject in a simple enough manner that helped my granddaughter learn to think for herself? I had to try.

I went to the rally for Israel on Monday in New York and was struck by the extremism of some of the speeches from liberal Democrats, also by the fact that the legions of Israel supporters were chiefly religious. Ten thousand strong, but they knew the words to Hebrew songs, one man blew a shofar, they mouthed the Hebrew prayers that rabbis made at the mike. Many signs were in Hebrew, and it was obvious that many people had come from synagogues and temples and Jewish community centers. Lots of yarmulkes, folks wearing the same t-shirts.
Here are three of the wilder political speeches. First, NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer gave a belligerent speech (part of which is above) saying that anti-Semitism is rising around the world, that Israel has never been at greater risk, and we have to “fight back.” Notice in this speech that he says “We have discovered” tunnels — merging the U.S. with Israel.
Also notice the existential threat Stringer perceives to Israel from world opinion. “What’s at stake is the survival of Israel. It has never been more… dangerous, right now.” I agree with him.

The US Department of Defense admittedly holds information regarding Kiev’s use of the ballistic missiles but is refusing to disclose it, only confirming that indeed the weapons have been used. In the CNN report, Major General James A. “Spider” Marks claimed that the reasoning behind the Pentagon’s decision was because “Ukraine has a right to defend itself,” before admitting that SS-21s are used offensively ahead of an invasion or other armed incursion.
What it appears the West is doing by admitting to what is otherwise a crime against humanity by their own definition, is acclimatizing what is left of their impressionable audiences to an increasingly brutal campaign of indiscriminate violence against the whole of eastern Ukraine in an effort to not only break armed resistance, but the civilian population that has rejected Kiev’s authority. The use of such weaponry, just as the Telegraph and others noted before the fall of Libya, hints at tactical weakness and impending strategic defeat – and while the West covers for Kiev’s numerous and multiplying atrocities, the fact that Kiev must resort to increasingly brutal and indiscriminate measures indicates a failure no amount of Western support can undo.

Great news, imo!
Thank the good Lord.
Just to fend off despair of the unflogged semi-literal alcoholics of the unhanged ABC Board in Oz, I just sent Saker’s URL to them (before their “breakfast” session here). It is a pretty little story but will probably get edited out.
What the heck?

Are there traitors within Russia?
Are you certain these 4 ballistic missiles were fired from within Russia?!

Thanks for wonderful news, Juan!
I was afraid to check for the news about the impact of those “Dots” – Tochkas, knowing it would be terrible! This is the kind of intervention right on time and so precise! No Iron Dome would help those ukies.
Like not so ago in Mediterranean, when 2 missiles were heading for Syria…
Good to know RF is holding its finger on the pulse!
Good news!
Good news!
If this is confirmed then the RF is demonstrating to the world a very potent tactical game-chager which could negate one of NATO’s most deadly threats. This is on a par with blinding AEGIS and makes the calculus of intervention much more dangerous for NATO. It should also frighten the NaZis to death. Nemesis awaits, and rightly so.Keep the faith, Juan and Saker and keep on talking to us. We are spreading an alternative view, and a tipping point must follow….
I don’t think it is possible to overstate the importance of this event. This intervention by RF has simultaneously accomplished three things:
1. Saved the lives of hundreds of militia at Saur-Mogila,
2. Sent a very powerful warning message to Kiev regarding the use of ballistic missiles in the conflict, and
3. Sent a message to the world that the RF has a VERY robust ABM capacity – FOUR out of FOUR!
And this assistance of the Novorossians was accomplished without crossing the border.
No rhetoric, no bravado, no bombast, no words…, Just action…just finesse! Perhaps we could call this the Putin touch.
One other thought…the manner in which the Novorossian forces surged out toward the Russian border and north of the cauldron just before the missiles were fired suggests strongly that they were tipped off by the Russians prior to the event.
All of the above must have been observed by the Pentagon at the time, but the American media had not been told any of this information. While the West basks in a summer of naivety regarding the events in the Ukraine, the Pentagon and the Whitehouse have been given a few new worries – very bad news which they dare not release.

This is excellent news. The limited info revealed by CNN made me think Saur-Mogila was wiped out. That would have been disastrous. It is now clear that the missiles were taken out by the RF. I can just imagine the look on the faces of the US military monitoring the attack – “Those missiles went up and then disappeared WTF?”. No wonder they wanted to keep it all quiet. And 4 out of 4! Top stuff.
The comment by Strelkov about Novorossiya being open to negotiations is a good move. If the Ukies accept, then they have implicitly recognized Novorossiya. If they don’t, then their fate is sealed. They will run out of money and gas before too long. Then there is General Winter to face.
Reports last year from Syria was that the S-400 saved the Syrians from Israeli attack. Russia has been demonstrating the system in real situations. The client list around the world includes everyone who is afraid of the Hegemon and its allies.
China will be first on the list. That little two-day meeting in Beijing did more than sign a gas agreement.
Russia lives because of the S-300, the S-400 and the coming S-500. You have to be good friends with Vlad to get delivery. Iran has some S-300’s and if things keep up, will get S-400’s too.
Then India.
What that means is the infrastructure of these nations is shielded from first strike weapons. Very important Peacemaker. A true shield.
God bless Vlad. This would never have gotten built without his foresight and strategic mind.
I guess that gas station, as McCain calls RF, can build more than pipelines.
What the system really alters is the projection of air power by Israel, NATO and the U.S. Soon it will nullify crazy Abe in Japan, too. He’s a threat to the Russian Far East as well as to China.
A little light relief. Putin versus this lot

Dang. You’ve got some awfully good points there; guess I let my hopes that we could be stopped mar my judgment a bit. I’m going to stay guardedly optimistic though, in terms of any overt nastiness but I’ve got to ask: is there any way, really, we can be stopped altogether?
sigh

Yes, Kiev and “Zion” (not gonna even use the official name for that illegitimate entity) are definitely tied together but that particular piece was a joke (ha ha). I wouldn’t put it past them and it’s a pretty weird definition of humor but it was designed to be funny.
Now that my transient euphoria of this piece of news has passed…
What next?
These were Russian missiles, destroyed by Russian technology…
How about they were American missiles with nukes in them, fired from within Western Ukraine?
Anyways, what next? and I will refrain to be vulgar, and call Putin names…
When will the pussy footing, and dance macabre of stealth help, and sanctions be replaced by real action.
In other words, when will Putin take the responsibility to liberate Novorossya from the Zio-Nazis proxy onslaught?
Whoa…
If this is true, then it’s great news, in a frightening sort of way.
Recently I was talking loudly about the hate-filled diatribes against Vladimir Putin in my local paper. An older Russian gentleman approached me and thanked me for what I said. As the discussion continued, he explained that it was getting tougher and tougher to withstand the anti-Russian vitriol to which we have all been exposed. He wondered if it had been this bad after the downing of the Korean jet way back when. I questioned him on this and as we continued our conversation he explained he had been an air force Officer in Russia’s far east when the Korean airliner was downed by a Russian fighter. Knowing little about the incident (I was a kid and I do remember the anti-Russian propaganda) I jumped to the conclusion that it was all disinformation but to my suprise he corrected me and said that actually, the pilot who shot down the Korean plane was drunk. Embarassed and lowering his head, as any decent human being might be, he apoloigized and said things were done very differently in the far east all those years ago. He said the Russian pilot was eventually sent to Afganistan where he was killed in action.
Then I asked about truth of the story concerning a Russian aircraft that was said to have ‘deactivated’ a US naval ship in the Black Sea several months before. This question cheered him up immensely and he said it was true and further that even conspiracy theorists would be shocked if they knew what weapons the Russians and others possessed.
I am the most cynical-naive person alive today but from what I gathered, this man, now in his seventies, was telling the truth.
Only later did it dawn on me why CNN ‘broke’ this story. CNN higher-ups are friends with some astonishing senior people in the US administration. Clearly people in the Pentagon were having ‘kittens’ when news of Russia’s covert destruction of all 4 ballistic missiles came through, and the chatter reached the ears of CNN staff.
But here’s the thing. For days, the zionist filth have been claiming that only Russia would be mad enough to use WW3 class missile systems on the Battlefield- hence their lies about the false flag destruction of the airliner. But now the US has admitted, at the highest level, that their proxy (which is under their direct control) launched 4 WW3 class ballistic missiles at the defenders of Novorussia. The madmen in the situation are revealed to the world, with evidence that cannot now be disputed, to be the neo-Nazis that rule in Kiev.
Sadly, facts change nothing, when monsters control the propaganda. Watching “Gentleman Jim” Putin give his recent press conference saddened me. He spoke rationally, logically and correctly- that is if you forget the true nature of the monsters confronting Russia. It is clear that Putin has chosen war- not the infinitely tiny ‘war’ that liberating Novorussia would entail, but real war against NATO, beginning with when Russia will have to utterly destroy the massive Ukrainian army that tries to take Crimea later this year.
Putin clearly thinks such a conflict will help ‘steel’ Russia, and move Russia to an inevitable next stage as the power of China grows. Putin calculates that necessity will keep most of Europe trading with Russia- Russia even partnered Nazi Germany in an astonishingly beneficial contract until the day Nazi Germany chose to attack Russia. If Russia could do business then, under those astonishing circumstances, Putin calculates doing so now, regardless of sanctions, is a cakewalk in comparison.
It gets worse. Such war planning includes the assumption that one’s enemy will be engaged on multiple fronts. This means Putin also expects the USA to directly engage with China, and maybe Japan against a United Korea (Korea has not re-united yet because Japan will not tolerate this, and will launch a massive strike against Korea the moment re-unification is imminent).
People thought (and were told by the zionist mass media) that the re-unification of Germany was still decades away, and would take decades to arrange once a process began- and yet Germany re-unified almost overnight. Korea would re-unify even faster than Germany did, once Japanese and US control weakened, and Japan would do ANYTHING to avoid being relegated to third place in the region.
Putin is banking on the fact that the long postponed post-WW2 rearrangement of power across our planet would be to America’s (and the West’s) detriment. Russia would offer its world beating military expertise to any significant power wishing to throw off the shackles of the Empire of the West.
Sane people call this thinking the “prelude to WW3”. While Putin seems convinced the West wouldn’t be mad enough to take these conflicts nuclear, I am convinced this is exactly what the West plans.
The West’s ‘dog’ in the Far East ‘arena’, Japan, is a major nuclear power, with an extensive ‘civilian’ nuclear power program that is, in reality, a front for nuclear warhead production. In any conflict with a unified Korea, Japan will “go nuclear” to prevent Korea having the time to build up their own nuclear defences.
The West doesn’t fear ‘bloody’- it lives for ‘bloody’- the more blood spilt the better. The madmen of the West do not fear Russia for one reason- TOO FEW PEOPLE. West Europe is 400 million. Russia is 140 million. And West Europe has the population of East Europe to use as ‘cannon fodder’.
Russian arms dealer Rosoboronexport is offering Latin American countries an all-round security package that would apparently go a long way toward protecting against violent rioting stirred up by U. S. NGOs. Not surprisingly, the U.S. Senate is discussing sanctions on the company.
