Situation Report from Novorossiya Armed Forces, June 19, 2014
At 23:00 (MSK): the situation changes on an hourly basis. The Junta troops have retreated to the previously held positions near Kirovsk. As a result of work by centres of resistance, Junta has abandoned and retreated from Yampol and Seversk. A Su-25 ground attack fighter was shot down over Yampol, this has been confirmed now. With respect to the the two aircraft and a “crocodile” (Mi-24 helicopter) shot down earlier, there has been no confirmation yet. The battles continued. Yampol was fight till the end.
At 23:10 (MSK): at the southern outskirts of Krasniy Liman, there is maneuver-centric combat with the Kirovsk checkpoint. A column comprised of 20 armoured elements (3 tanks and 17 “BMP” APCs) is moving from the direction of Kirovsk toward the vicinity of the 3rd School (Krasniy Liman). An additional 2 tanks and 5 “BMP” APCs. One tank and a “tachanka” (a towed machine gun or an artillery piece) moving in the direction of Ostavki.
At 23:15 (MSK): The column [noted above], having passed down the Lenin street, turned back in the direction of the Golubiye Ozera (“Blue Lakes’). Large-caliber machine gun fire in the southern part of Krasniy Liman.
Don’t listen to the junta mouthpieces gloat about ‘tightening the noose’ (literal language Reuters used) around the ‘rebels’ tonight. Every tank, AFV, every Right Sector fanatic ‘battalion’ Kiev sends to the Southeast is one more unit to get caught in a gigantic encirclement with the escape routes across the Dnieper blocked by the Pskov paratroopers while the spetsnaz come in from the sea to block escape from Mariupol.
Even if the junta takes Slovyiansk (unlikely given how huge their losses will be in close quarters) they will not take Donetsk or Lugansk, nor come even close to sealing the border, as they simply don’t have the manpower (watch the video below where a middle aged woman is fighting alongside elements of the ‘Aidar’ battalion which turn out to be completely shell shocked regular army).
I also expect even if Russia doesn’t directly intervene this weekend for the Koronets and T-72 drivers to start appearing on the battlefield. Who knows, maybe the LNR will also get a few Su-25s of its own that will have to be painted on the bottom to avoid friendly fire from MANPADs…
If this is what Ukraine is sending to fight, plus the orange duct tape armband dudes down in Mariupol with their ‘APCs’ being wood panelled trucks, I can only imagine how quickly the ‘polite men in green’ or VDV would make mincemeat out of these units. The Ukies truly are approaching the schwerpunkt or limit of their full military deployed capabilities, at least without literally marching troops into the maelstrom at gunpoint. We are getting much closer to the point at which Russia strikes and closes the pocket on the junta’s entire forces in the Southeast.
Last but not least tonight, it’s typical of Kiev fanatic tweeters like @Andrij that he’s upset about DNR/LNR interrogating captured Ukrainian army on camera and calls for expelling all Life News.ru journalists from Ukraine but not over the fact that these miserable human creatures were called up and sent to kill people in the Southeast for $200 a month. Glory to Ukraine! Only crushing defeat and getting the full EU-SSR/IMFer austerity package can finally cause beat some sense into these souls. Otherwise they’ll continue to hurl middle aged men with three children and even middle aged women — but not Anrij or that demon-possessed midget Thomas Theiner — into the meatgrinder of their death cult of Banderastan.
“Today, WikiLeaks released the secret draft text for the Trade in Services Agreement (TISA) Financial Services Annex, which covers 50 countries and 68.2%1 of world trade in services. The US and the EU are the main proponents of the agreement, and the authors of most joint changes, which also covers cross-border data flow. In a significant anti-transparency manoeuvre by the parties, the draft has been classified to keep it secret not just during the negotiations but for five years after the TISA enters into force.
Despite the failures in financial regulation evident during the 2007-2008 Global Financial Crisis and calls for improvement of relevant regulatory structures2, proponents of TISA aim to further deregulate global financial services markets. The draft Financial Services Annex sets rules which would assist the expansion of financial multi-nationals – mainly headquartered in New York, London, Paris and Frankfurt – into other nations by preventing regulatory barriers. The leaked draft also shows that the US is particularly keen on boosting cross-border data flow, which would allow uninhibited exchange of personal and financial data.
TISA negotiations are currently taking place outside of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) framework. However, the Agreement is being crafted to be compatible with GATS so that a critical mass of participants will be able to pressure remaining WTO members to sign on in the future. Conspicuously absent from the 50 countries covered by the negotiations are the BRICS countries of Brazil, Russia, India and China. The exclusive nature of TISA will weaken their position in future services negotiations.
The draft text comes from the April 2014 negotiation round – the sixth round since the first held in April 2013. The next round of negotiations will take place on 23-27 June in Geneva, Switzerland.
Current WTO parties negotiating TISA are: Australia, Canada, Chile, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Colombia, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Liechtenstein, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, the United States, and the European Union, which includes its 28 member states Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
China and Uruguay have expressed interest in joining the negotiations but so far are not included…”
15:40 ‘V’ refers to his City of London sources telling him that THEY expect Russia to take decisive military action that will (possibly with other events) rattle financial markets and drop the dollar by or abouts mid-July.
This means Slovyiansk, Donetsk and Lugansk have to hold out for three more weeks, past the Bagration anniversary wherein I was expecting possible Russian intervention.
Funny how the Baghdad Bob of Kiev Dmitry Tymchuk’s site just now noticed how many T-72s are lying around one depot in Donetsk region that many tweeters noticed looks like the one in the movie “Lord of War”.
If Kiev literally left 240+ T-72s just lying around — even if many are rusty but could be made operable again with spare parts from Russia — then they really are ludicrously incompetent or the charge of a 5th column inside the Ukrainian regular army has to be true.
The T-72s might not be useful so much to fight other tanks (especially if the Ukrainians get a frantic shipment of Milans from NATO) as to flush out strong points (like the sniper nests/checkpoints around Karachun hill) and/or initially serve as baiting Kiev’s remaining Su-25s/Mi-24s into MANPAD/ZSU traps. But I still think Koronets are more critical for the NAF at this stage of combat to repulse the assaults on Slovyiansk and Lugansk with heavy losses to Kiev’s forces.
RT has a very insightful interview with former adviser of HW Bush (sr): Stephen Cohen, with backgrounds of the US Russian policy of the past 20 years and the dangers of the Clinton-Obama approach. 1 hour, can´t afford to miss it:
The guns on those tanks should be more than adequate to knock out any tanks the nazis have or could get. The mythology surrounding modern “miracle tank armour” is just that. The guns of T-64 and T-72 are powerful weapons and can poke holes in even the latest armoured tanks, including the much over rated US Abrams and German Leopard tanks.

My comments on Twitter:
Moving tanks around hostile territory in Novorossiya means little. They can be ambushed or boxed.
There are only 4 strategic goals in Novorossiya:
– Donetsk & Lugansk RSA buildings
– Dovzhansky border crossing
– Artemovsk tank base

вот так,
Preventing regulatory barriers, with the terms kept secret? That sounds like a death pact. Are all those countries willing participants?

Of course they are – in that very special zio-mafia-western way.
