Dear friends,
I just got this email from Austria. With my friend’s permission, I removed some personal details and share it with you now.
The Saker
——-
Dear Saker,
I just came home from witnessing president Putin putting down flowers in honor of the Russian soldiers liberating Austria from fascism at Schwarzenbergplatz in Vienna. Now I arrived at Schwarzenbergplatz, the site of our monument in honor of the red army liberating Austria, approximately two and a half hours before Putin and his entourage arrived at the site. What I can tell you is the following.
Even before the Police built a perimeter around the square, a good 50-something demonstrators waving Russian flags and some waving Russian and Syrian flags were present at the square. Everybody was in a cheerful mood. Everybody was united in their support for Putin. Even the police was very friendly and and only about an hour and a half before the arrival of Putin did they ask us kindly to leave the square and get behind the perimeter. Now the perimeter was no more than 100 to 150 meters away from the monument. It surrounded the square in an oval shape. All along the perimeter, people started to gather in order to see Putin and cheer for him. All in all I would say between 1000 and 2000 people were standing around either to catch a glimpse of Putin or to chant in support of Putin. Many Russian and Syrian flags where around, as well as many st.George ribbons were visibly worn by attendants. The composition of the crowd was quite interesting. I would say about one third were native Austrians, one third were Russians or Belorussians residing in Austria with a good command of the German language, and about one third of the people in support of Putin were of mixed eastern European descent as well as Syrian. I spoke to people from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Czech and Poland and Syria who were all in support of Putin. When the military chapel played their song when Putin put down the flowers, our chants of Rossija and of Slava Putina and sa putina were louder than the music. He turned to our side several times and waved towards us. At the very top of the square, 20 or so galician demonstrators were shouting their slogans an waving their flags. They were vastly outnumbered, and the atmosphere was nevertheless peaceful and rather relaxed. They called us Putincy or Putinzi I didn’t quite understand. Anyway, guess who got all the media mentions? Besides the Galicians, there was also a separate anti Putin protest by Hosi, the interest organization of the gay, lesbian and transgender people in Austria, but they had their separate thing, and were nowhere to be seen around Schwarzenbergplatz. Also at the top of the square, at the point where all the official cars entered and exited through were maybe 10 Georgians waving Georgian flags and also some Chechen who were anti Putin. The point is that they were vastly outnumbered by happy peaceful pro-Russia people, but they got all the attention. Also Greenpeace did a separate little protest against Putin, because he refurbishes some nuclear power plants in Hungary. Public opinion is violently opposed to nuclear power in Austria, and so am I, but Greenpeace of course was scoring cheap political points against Putin.
Anyway. There was a really refreshing mix of people at the square. Syrians, Russians, eastern Europeans, Austrians of right and left political persuasion. The most noteworthy occurrence was this American couple however. So a guy and a girl in their late twenties dressed like tourists walked up to all the different groups of the pro Russia people. The guy asked us for our names, and asked us why we were in favor of Putin. While he was asking us these questions, his girlfriend took pictures of us without asking. To us they said they were tourists on a trip through Europe, the next group they told they were journalists. The guy had a notebook in his hand and wrote down everybody’s name, and their views. When a group of Russians standing next to us involved them in a heated debate they stood there arguing in Russian, not English, and the girl also spoke very good German to me. Unusual language skills for Americans. Anyway when one of the Syrians came up and started asking them if they were tourists or journalists, and who they were writing for and if they could provide credentials they took off very abruptly.
What do I take home from this event? That Putin took note of this spontaneous outpouring of support of ordinary people. I think nobody supports him in everything he says or does, but honor where honor is due for standing up to empire and hypocrisy. We dig that, and we were able to show it to him.
Hope all is well with you, and I hope to get some more pictures of the many people with Russian and Syrian flags. There was also a German camerawoman among us filming stuff for ruptly.tv newsagency, so there is a chance that these pictures will eventually make it to rt.
XXX
Thank you for being there and reporting the reality of the event. Let me say that your presence there to honor those to whom honor is due best expresses my heart and while I was not there with you physically, I was in spirit. Bless you for your courage and your stance.
The American ‘tourists’ were obviously US agents, and not really trying to hide it. It’s not clear to me why they were taking names, but it’s a big data base and I suppose they are looking for links. Welcome to our Brave New World.
Very interesting, the support Putin is getting. While Obama slips lower and lower in popularity.
greenpeace has been pin pointed rightly by the indian intelligence agency as working for anglos agenda of hampering any thing good progress coming to India -for sake of anglos interests.
greeenpece is anglo saxon propaganda machinary which must be destroyed.
Huge pool of the CIA agents consists of some ex Christian missionaries. The Mormon Church’s world-wide activities and mission program provides a perfect cover for CIA agents. Their Russian branch was also linked to the undercover FBI division. These agents are extremely well skilled at languages and psychology.
Thank you for this report! I come here to escape the omnipresent lies of Anglo-Zionist media and learn as much as I can from the real people. This place is absolutely invaluable!

Putin Scores Another Historic Victory:
Austria Signs South Stream Pipeline Deal In Defiance Of Europe

My first guess would be CIA and taking names and pictures for THE DATABASE. These people may find it difficult to get visas and either be on the no-fly list or may get pulled out of the line for secondary checks and also to make sure they miss their flight.
It’s easy enough to assign a code to a person that designates them as say an African mercenary, however ludicrous in reality that might be. It may then be impossible or take several more months than usual to obtain a visitor visa and since information is shared with other countries it can severely curtail travel.
US diplomats don’t take the USA being insulted easily, however deserving it might be.
How do I know this? Guess.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
“Anyway, guess who got all the media mentions? The point is that they were vastly outnumbered by happy peaceful pro-Russia people, but they got all the attention.”
Naturally, the one thing reliable about Jewish zionist owned and run western media is their role as propagandists for the NWO fascists.
“The most noteworthy occurrence was this American couple however…”
As others have said, obviously spook sorts. But don’t accept the obvious and assume they were working for the American spooks. The Mossad does that routine a lot, and will often use an “American” cover to do so. Also, quite a few American spooks are also working for Israel, and second whatever info they obtain to there. This is true for all of European spook agents. Israel has heavily infiltrated these, both officially, and on the sly.
Very important. I hope the letter writer and many others photographed these agents and have put these photos up on the web (anonymously) in many places. This is how one combats this sort of criminal activity. One exposes it so the criminals are “burned” for future use in that manner and region.
Thank you for keeping us this well informed. The boots on the ground POV always beats the MSM horse manure and I’m also glad you’re honest enough to say you’re disagreeing with Putin [on certain points], because I think we all do.
Fortunately this is not a choice between the two lesser evils. I also thank you for showing Putin that at least some ordinary individuals like you and me are able to see through the fog of propaganda and understand how difficult Putin/Russia’s choices at times must be.
If it wasn’t for wo/men like you [and all other who keep us up to speed via Saker’ site] we’d all be stumbling in the dark and fall off a cliff.
:[]: = hug
Thanks for the report – the only gripe I have is it would’ve been interesting to find out what/how the msm portrayed the rally – truthfully or highlighting the anti Putin f(R)actions.
I’m also a little bit non plused as to why someone who knows Saker or reads the blog would give their name to absolute strangers, american ones at that, especially with the photo taking that was going on. wonder how long it would’ve taken “security” to appear if you’d tried to grab their camera or notebook . . . . not long would be my guess.
With that said, thanks anyway for taking the time to attend & document it

Saker — Probably mossad posing as Americans. Even if they were Americans — they were likely dual-citizen Israeli-US. Cause almost no one gets hired at DOS/CIA that isn’t a ZIONIST dual-citizen. Real Americans might actually put America before that “shitty little country” and be circumspect while working overseas.
I hate hearing stories like this about fuking American ass-wipes. Ugly Americans indeed.
A little levity. German gold mystery at Federal Reserve is solved.

Germany To Leave Its Gold In Federal Reserve
Posted on June 24, 2014, 10:01:15 PM EDT by RetiredTexasVet
Angela Merkel stated today that Germany would leave its 1,500 tonnes of gold in the Federal Reserve vault in NYC for continued safekeeping.
Proponents for repatriation of German gold were outraged that Angie would double-cross them after initially agreeing to have at least 674 tonnes of gold repatriated. Insiders confirmed that only 5 tonnes of gold were repatriated before shipments were inexplicably stopped.
The current Federal Reserve Chairthing, Janet Yelling, announced today that the former Federal Reserve Chairthing, Ben Bernanke’s computer hard drive had crashed destroying the inventory of gold on deposit with the Fed. Shockingly, the six backup copies of the inventory on his assistants computers were also destroyed by hard drive crashes. IT experts at the Fed verified that the Windows 3.1 based computers crashed just before their planned upgrade to Windows XP due to Superstorm Sandy shorting the electrical systems.
Not wanting to panic any of the gold depositors, a physical inventory of the gold was taken to ascertain the exact status of the inventory. Accountants entered the subterranean gold vaults below the Fed and discovered a major problem. As a result of Superstorm Sandy the vault had been breached and salt water had flooded several of the lower gold vaults, including the one where the alleged 1,500 tonnes of German gold was stored. According to gold technicians, the salt water had corroded the gold bars. Serial numbers and country stamps on the bars were indecipherable. Experts determined that the gold would have to be melted down and gold bars recast to determine the exact amount of gold remaining. After recasting, the Fed determined that only 5 tonnes remained.
Experts stated that a shrinkage from 1,500 tonnes to 5 tonnes would not be unusual considering that many bars would have floated away, others completely corroded away and then a lot lost through shrinkage and wastage during the recasting process.
The Germans contacted their insurance company, Progressive (the one with the dimwit bimbo not the lizard), which stated that the German policy did cover hurricanes which required them to replace the Windows 3.1 computers; however, it specifically excluded flood damages which would have to be covered under a Federal Flood Insurance policy which they had not obtained.
Janet assured Angie that she would not leave her slowly twisting in the the political wind but would develop some solution that would provide cover for both of them. Janet had Federal Reserve notes printed (good as gold – per FDR 1930s) in an amount equivalent to the dollar value of the alleged 1,500 tonnes of gold. Those notes, the same as gold, were then to remain on deposit with the Fed. Problem solved and everyone happy.
Hello Saker
Regarding Mark Sleboda endorsing your blog on Americans First Radio, he refers to you as a “White” Russian. What is Mark refering to here (your interpretation), is he refering to your political affiliation or your ethnicity? This is just an innocent question, since certain references in the Russian context are unknown to us Non-Russians. Can you supply context.
Thanks.
@XXX Beautifully spoken!
As an American, I have to say I am very envious of Russia for having a leader like Putin. It is very clear that going to war is his last choice, even when there is ample justification for it as there is in Ukraine. If diplomacy has any chance of working, that is what he prefers. It’s hard to conceive of an American president asking Congress to rescind his authority to do anything. Usually they just grab as much power as they can get, and then some. And when I compare Putin with Bush Jr, who was itching to go to war in Iraq, based on the most deceitful of pretexts, it makes me sick.
I’m american and I adore Mr Putin! His legacy will be the greatest leader of our time!! I’m envious ! I would love to have been there for total support of the greatest leader in the world !! Mr Putin has more honor, dignity and wit then any fucked up Gov official in my country !!
I’m an American and adore Mr Putin!!
Another comment I’d like to make was first made by Paul Craig Roberts. Putin is a little too open and vulnerable when interacting with the crowds, as he does. He might make an easy assassination target. He should be more careful.
Correction:
“This is true for all of European spook agents.”
This is true for all of European spook AGENCIES.
Too bad someone didn’t take some photos to share on the Internet of these two ‘American tourists’.
Yesterday in the Tagesschau the commentator remarked very bitterly that by bringing together the „pro-russians” (sic) and the ukies to hold truce talks, Putin made the “rebels” socially presentable (hoffähig machen). So, it looks he gained another point.
well
I am holding off for pre election pols in US on question which president you would vote for..

2. Greenpeace, i had some serious “bun” fights with them in UN committee rooms. But then again the same with the EU delegates as well. I said that their policies were always set not in stone but in diamond, in that you can’t even scratch the surface.
3. Family man – This is true for all of European spook AGENCIES.
True but unbelievably dumb. Obviously someone sent out the lowest grade/rank out there, as that was stupidly amateurish, more likely to have been 3rd party contractors, (there are lots of them too).
Le Dahu
The media in Austria was turning reality on it’s head when they were reporting on the pro- and anti- demonstrations. They made the Galicians appear more numerous and the people in support of Putin less numerous. Here is a gallery by an Austrian daily:
http://diepresse.com/home/politik/aussenpolitik/3826591/Putin-polarisiert_Umstrittener-Wienbesuch?direct=3826734&_vl_backlink=/home/index.do&selChannel=103
One also has to say that the pro-kiev protesters as well as the other anti-putin protesters were better organized. They went to strategic points along his route: in front of the parliament, in front of the chancellery and in front of the federal economic chamber were Putin gave a speech. These places made for a more interestng scenery, and they were photographed earlier in the day. Schwarzenbergplatz, was the last stop on the intinerary, and the people standing around there were not as visible, because the perimeter forced everybody to stand behind a line of trees. Therefore the photos of the anti- protesters got out earlier and made for more interesting pictures. But then the people who came there in his support were perhaps not planning a PR coup but simply wanted to express their gratitude. Especially the Syrians kept chanting “Putin spassibo” thank you Putin.
As for those two Americans. When they came up talking to us we thought they were just ordinary tourists that needed explanation of what was going on. So when he told me his name was John and she told me her name was Misha I told them my first name too. Only later did I realize that they pulled the same shtick with everyone. I wish I had had the presence of mind to take a picture of them too.
Damn… you guys got me really worried about being in some list or database now. There may still be the off chance that they were just some bloggers/tourists. Or some over-ambitious interns at the US embassy. They looked pretty young.
Oh and thanks for all the nice encouraging comments :-)
Great post Austrian friend.
Greets from Holland.
@Andrew: This story about the gold is indeed really funny.
Windows 3.1 computers, hard drives which cannot be recovered, no power management (UPS), all these months no reason for disappearance discovered, and gold rusting in salt water and even floating away!
from 1500 to 5 tons… sounds reasonable… not?
Was it gold or sodium metal?
Nice article.
Someone should have (and probably has) taken pictures of the young “American” couple and broadcast it to the Internet at large.
Actually, maybe it’s a good idea to turn the tools of the Surveillance State against itself – set up a “Spook Facebook” of sorts, where photos of suspected spooks (of all countries and persuasions) are uploaded and notated.
Glad to know about this show of support for V.V. Putin in Austria.
I feel encouraged by what I crave lonely crusade to defend him in the western media and I think that perhaps has more support in Europe than we might think.
While I could certainly disagree on some of his ideas, I have the impression that he is a whole person, not seeking personal gain, but do the best for his country and its people.
I have never heard any Western leader to say that their goal is the happiness of its people and the prosperity of his country.
If that could be, in not too distant future, ( let me dream ) a real distribution of wealth, labor and social rights, welfare levels that reach the entire population, promoting culture, the arts and sciences, environmental protection, fight against corruption and organized crime, continuing efforts to mantain world peace….I think people would follow him in droves.
Although it should be more involved in politics and not delegate all on its representatives, people is hoping to find a beacon in a world without direction and where Western leaders have fallen too low.
