Western Canada, telus provider
Just turned on my TV and my cable provider just took my RT channel from basic to premium (pay extra).
Seems like censorship by the powers that be.
I guess I’ll have watch on the internet.
Keep up the good work.
Lesser zionazi quisling asks greater zionazi quisling for military “help”.
Порошенко просит США помочь в осуществлении карательных операций (Poroshenko asked US to help in the punitive operations)

(Via Yandex)
“Although Petro Poroshenko was not officially became the President of Ukraine, he already understands the deplorable condition, he gets the armed forces of the country, and how serious confrontation have a militia in the East of Ukraine. So he asked for military assistance from the USA.
“We must cooperate in the military-technical and Advisory assistance, ” said Poroshenko. – We are ready to fight for independence, and we must strengthen the armed forces of Ukraine”.
Realizing that the gift he did not give, he recalls the program “lend-lease”, according to which the USSR cooperated with US during the great Patriotic war, and quoted American President Franklin D. Roosevelt of the garden hose, which is neighbor to borrow neighbor in case of fire.
Indeed, in territorial aspect Ukraine and the United States – almost neighbors…
#SaveDonbassPeople”
As one of the comment writers put it:
“Not the correct title. Paprastas…
The correct title should be:
“USA ask Parasha to pretend that he asks you to help US in punitive operations”.
I wish I could say I was suprised. It just pisses me off that there isnt any more substantial help from Putin to the DNR.
I guess the war is entering the Bosnian phase. Very strange that there is not a word about this in Western media beyond accusing Putin of “meddling.” It’s very hard to live in this country with all of these liars and people who love to hear the lies.
You can say that again! It is hard to live in this country with people who love the lies… Possibly living the lie helps them NOT deal with the reality that they can’t believe the truth, due to their whole life becomes a lie. Sad reality indeed!
I wouldn’t exactly call that O/T, the cable company taking RT to premium. That’s part of the info war, and very relevant. Glad you mentioned it, maybe this has/will occur in other areas?
Just read that the Russian Foreign Ministry has officially requested the Ukie Gov to be able to deliver humanitarian assistance to the Donetsk. And by humanitarian, they mean HUMANITARIAN I’m assuming, since they are going thru official channels, unlike, say, the US requesting “humanitarian assistance” for actual terrorists in Syria. Russia says they are receiving urgent pleas from civilians. Expecting an answer quickly, and I think we can safely assume that answer will be “go eff yourself”. I’m guessing this will be the topic of Sakers next post, or at least part of it. Wondering what the Russians will do when the answer comes in. Is this when they actually “intervene”?
Some fresh media at https://www.facebook.com/southfronteng
There are various written reports, recent clips and photos of carnage as well as some interesting propaganda posters.
This is a “breaking news” clip for Donbass news: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=631403730284919
and this quote of Strelkov from yeterday:
Summary report from the Commander in Chief of Slavyansk – the “Steel” Strelkov, 27th May 2014
Regarding the situation in Slavyansk:
It has been quite since the morning – there was shooting at night near Semenovka. In the morning we returned the strike by mortar bombing the block post at the turn to Krasny Liman. Generally speaking everything is going on as it normally does. They are flooding is with disinformation that the attack is just about to start. We are not paying much attention to this, because when they are finally ready, we will see it by ourselves. We sent reinforcements to Donetsk at night, because the warfare epicenter has shifted there now. I do not have any information about any enemy helicopters shot down.
We have clarified the figures of casualties among civilians – 2 people killed and 5 wounded in the town during the bombardment.
A couple of words about the Ukrainian army:
An officer, who is fighting against his own people and against his own beliefs is a coward and a faggot. He is a coward because he is afraid for “his family and pension” so much that at the end he is ready to make other families orphans. He is a faggot because by being a coward and betraying his people once he will continue to be a coward and fall further down to the very degradation… If one helicopter squadron joined us, it would be sufficient to make the Ukrainian army fall apart by itself. We could overthrow the junta and establish a fari government in Kiev. However complete amebic behavior of so-called “officers” allows the Ukrainians to bomb the defense forces and send the regular troops to the frontline. These people should not have entered military colleges, they should have been employed as sewage pipe cleaners.
The enemy continues the adjustment fire. By the evening they were firing directly at the town – according to the preliminary information four civilians have been killed and several have been injured. They were firing at the residential district of Artem settlement. There are almost no our fighters there, and it can be clearly seen from Karachun, from where the mortars and howitzers were firing.
As far back as yesterday I ordered to post and distribute the fliers calling for evacuation of females and children from the town. I was talking about the same in the morning to the local media journalists, who recorded this on camera. “Danger past and god forgotten…” I feel very sorry for the people. Shrapnel tore off one girl’s arm… However surrendering the town today will mean to surrender it for plunder and looting to the worst junta’s mercenaries. Piles of empty vodka and beer bottles at all their checkpoints and positions as well as the shot people from local villages and prison pits near Izyum clearly evidence, what king of people they are.
Also this report:
More than 3 000 of miners were protested in Donetsk against the punitive operation on the South-East. Now they are on the march to the monument “Eternal flame” near the Lenin’s square at the centre of the city.
Now the road traffic on Lenin av. and University str. is closed
and this:
Slavyansk. The events on the night of the 27th/28th of May
National Guard shelled the check points of the self-defense near Karachun. The self-defense forces had drawn off and then attacked the National Guard troops from the opposite side. The National Guard lost 60% of a manpower of the 1’st brigade as a result of a clash.
The damaged brigade was replaced by the other one. The 2’nd brigade consists on 30% of mercenaries and on 50% of the “Praviy Sector”, the rest are the warriors of the National Guard.

I do not think Russia will enter overtly at this time. However, you all must understand that the Uke borders are quite porous. A few hundred griven in some border control boy’s greasy little paw and you could bring in the entire 1st Tank Army and no one would see it.
On the other hand I would not be surprised to learn after the fact that there was a little material help for our Donbas boys.
Juan
You’ve commented on the strength of the Fed forces previously. What has happened to the Ukie army units that were reported to have defected (from memory the 23rd airborne and an armoured infantry unit), or can’t you say?

Donetsk sounds like it might turn into another Stalingrad.

Yes. That is a textbook example of Cognitive Dissonance — and we’re surrounded by it. It’s very hard to realize you’ve been played for a fool your entire life, and much, much easier to misdirect your rage onto anyone reminding you of the fact, and then comfortably continue with your delusions and remain one.

What is going on in Donetsk is pretty awful — especially since we’re living it vicariously minute-by-minute as it happens. But my gosh, Stalingrad was orders of magnitude worse. Maybe the difference between a serious heat wave, and Hell?
Hello Saker and all commentators. Felicitations and greetings. I follow the dangerous situation in Ukraine as you do. May the Lord in Heaven help us. He is our only hope.
I have one question, though. In my old school in the 60s, it was obligatory to learn three foreign languages.I had to work very very hard to learn English, not to mention German and French.
I suffered.
I am surprised at Juans language abilities. I may be wrong, but I think of him as a Russian or Ukrainian soldier/officer. Being Scandinavian/Nordic, I usually know more Russian than Russians know English. Juan seems to be reliable, but it is good if he explains his English language abilities. It takes years to learn this difficult language and good English is only spoken at anglosaxon universities.
All the best to all of you.

“Juan” is clearly a private person. Besides, he has his own good reasons to want to remain private. Please do not ask any questions about him and just consider it a privilege that he agreed to share his insights with us.
