To me it seems obvious that the restarted Nagorno-Karabakh war is the result of the US setting up the region for it. Kerry tells the Azeris the US wants the ‘ultimate resolution’ of the conflict, and Biden tells them that Azerbaijan is a very important security concern of the US, and the fighting starts a few days later. This is like the US ambassador that tells Saddam what they want him to think to start a big war over Kuwait.
The bottom line is that Turkey has the US in its pocket and the US would be happy to lay pipelines over Armenian corpses.
Lagarde completely covers the IMF economic hitmen

Witnessing her unbelievable arrogance, one cannot but muse: what would it be like having Lagarde as wife?… Dantesque imagery comes to mind…
I don’t know, but surely your financial problems would be resolved…
She is quite charismatic. She is just the front man, not the real power.
A little light relief from all the doom and gloom – I give you..Mr. Perez Prado!!

Eimar, thank you! Finally someone brings some live music to the joint before it dies from musical neglect. Perez Prado, Mambo Mania. And his grunts were well timed punctuations on the sensual Mambo. And those cherry blossoms and apple blossoms! Beautiful.
But how is this place a cafe? Or bar? Or restaurant? No one is in the picture. It looks like the clubhouse of a resort in the Catskills, in the off-season. No one in sight!
Oh, here I see the ghost of a comedian that got his start here: Jack Benny

The Russian angle: Catskills summer resorts were also known as the “Borscht Belt”. Probably because many of the New York comedians entertaining there were Jews of Russian origin, hence, Russian Beet Soup Belt. video:

That’s what this abandoned Moveable Feast Cafe resort reminds me of. Or maybe a Twilight Zone scene: http://www.heritagefl.com/story/2014/08/29/features/finding-the-goldbergs-a-catskills-mystery-unraveled/3219.html expresses the same idea.
Look, no matter what happens in Armenia-Azerbajan there will be ethnic cleansing of some sort. Now since most Azeris have hightailed it back to the mother country, it will be very nasty on the Armenians who know fully well what to expect from the Azeri Muslims and it won’t be just being shown the exit door.
The reputation of the Azeris is that they fight like the Saudis ( or real dirty like El Nusra front and its mustard gas in Aleppo) so expect some kick-a action from the Armenians. Like the Kurds, they are not going to take any guff from a resurgent Turkey. So quote all the “historical facts” you want…things change and they are a ‘changing now. The OSCE and the UN are a joke—like either one of those has helped the people of Donbass! Still it is good to have eyes on the ground to keep the Azeris from doing something too perverse under the urging of the Empire.
Let us see what Putin will actually do. (Whether he is serious about these deliveries, or merely uses the treat of these as a negotiating ploy with the Anglo-Zionist Empire (playing Iran again as a “patsy”, a very dangerous game to say the least).)
http://ria.ru/world/20160405/1402968159.html :
Washington is opposed to the delivery of Russian Su-30 and S-300 to Iran
The United States consider that deliveries of Russian military equipment to Iran are impossible without the approval of the UN Security Council, and intend to oppose them “by any available means”, stated Deputy Secretary of State Tom Shannon.
WASHINGTON, 5 April — RIA Novosti, Alexei Bogdanovsky. The US do not agree with the delivery to Iran of Russian fighters Su-30 and air defense systems S-300, because they consider that such deliveries are prohibited without authorization by the UN Security Council, said Deputy Secretary of State Tom Shannon at a hearing in the appropriate committee of the Senate of the United States.
“We will not give our consent for these” said Shannon about alleged deliveries of the Su-30. To the question whether they would impose the US veto in a discussion of such deliveries in the UN Security Council, he replied in the affirmative.
In addition, Shannon stated that the possible deliveries to Iran of the Russian systems of air defense S-300 are also a concern of the United States.
“Obviously, we are not interested whether Iran has been getting fighter jets or ground-based complexes. We will try to oppose any systems that can be used by Iran for offensive purposes, by any available means at our disposal”, said Shannon.
…
What is Mr Shannon going to do? Stamp his feet, wave his arms about? Just wondering!
Perhaps he will remember the USS Donald Hook incident and just shut up!
Thugtator’s latest Diktat of the Day:
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Ankara “must” consider all options including revoking citizenship to prevent supporters of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) from doing harm.
“To prevent them from doing harm we must take all measures, including stripping supporters of the terrorist organization of their citizenship,” Erdogan said in reference to the PKK in a speech in the capital, Ankara, on Tuesday.

The United States would use its veto power in the United Nations Security Council to block the sale of Russian Su-30 fighter jets to Iran, the State Department says.
Department of State Under Secretary for Political Affairs Thomas Shannon made the announcement on Tuesday during a congressional hearing on Iran. “We would block the approval of fighter aircraft.”
Shannon told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that any such sale of fighter jets would have to be approved by the UN Security Council.
Su-30 is a multirole advanced fighter aircraft for all-weather, air-to-air and air-to-surface deep interdiction missions.
The TRNC government, which is recognised only by Turkey, collapsed after ministers from the right-wing National Unity Party (UBP) withdrew in a dispute over economic policy.
Their resignations left Kalyoncu’s centre-left Republican Turkish Party (CTP) without a majority in parliament and ended the first grand coalition between the two largest parties since the formation of the TRNC in 1983.
The TRNC government is still heavily dependent on aid from Turkey to stay afloat and was unable to pay public sector staff their wages in March.

I listened to some of it. The magic mushrooms of those days must of had a bit of kick : )

Peter AU I did a little more thinking on the Shamir question and answered your last post in the previous cafe: /moveable-feast-cafe-2016-04-02/
I wish I knew how to put the link that takes one right to the relevant comments, but I haven’t had time to figure out how to do that yet.
Bro Anon, I posted my thoughts and some facts as to why Shamir was wrong in the relevant article by him, at the other thread.
/moveable-feast-cafe-2016-04-02/
Peter, I also posted this reply there:
Shamir is a veteran of the Israeli paratroopers, however he apparently causes ZIonists real fits due to his stance that Palestinians are human beings, that Assad is “that mild, decent man”, etc:
http://wlcentral.org/node/1185 But all his quotes seem logical to me, while the loaded questions for the most part stink of mind control, MSM , that is Jews that are Kazars (who are not semetic) who, in their tortured logic call Shamir (who is semetic) “anti-semetic”.
Let’s continue, Peter to weigh everything, including Saker, Shamir, and most of all ourselves!
might be worth following up on these documents?
“You brought it upon yourselves.
Yesterday’s Panamanian crib notes immediately received a fitting answer. Guys who are receiving grants from Soros Foundation and the MacArthur Foundation, their owners, and other interested parties were thinking that they were taking part in a hunt for the beast. Well, well. This time they were made to play ping-pong, but they didn’t even notice it. So naive are they… They scattered the documents around 80 countries and 400 paid journalists to deducted names and addresses. Well, at least one of them was from the CBP (Foreign Intelligence Service) and a couple hundred from the GRU…And they’ve got their punishment, not them, of course, but their owners.
The Russian President said that he has decided to declassify many archival documents, and that he will sign the decree today. And it was signed. Here: http://kremlin.ru/
And he quietly added: “This, as far as I know, according to the information from archive agencies, concerns the period from 1930 to 1989. In these documents there are cases, excuse me, of snitches as well as the innocently repressed, with very interesting names, some documents will surprise society…”
In fact, what is happening is a test for society and the President. He passed an exam for the “leader of the nation”, and society – for the “superpower”. I have no doubt, personally, of the result. And also no doubt on the number of political cadavers that will appear soon in stupid Europe, which thought that she was taking part in the hunt for the beast, whilst the ambush was prepared for her.”

The relevant record of the meeting is here http://kremlin.ru/events/president/news/51635
Yes, Peter AU, the relevant Kremlin event which must have been linked by For Russ is this, in English this time. Please, people, read the text, it seems that documents will not only be released but also, as I understand, digitally available?

The most transparency the better.
Thanks for the en version elsi. I finally found “English” at the bottom of the Kremlin web page.

“We are also a great archive power. 500 million cases – it is part of the Archival Fund of Russia. This is such a source of information, which may be the envy of a huge number of countries in the world. Moreover, these documents – the same documents, which reflect not only our history, but also the history of the world, and they do not coincide with the borders of modern Russia, because it is all the historical heritage of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.”

What a lovely eulogy! Most people do not do moment of death charts and when I sent a letter years ago ( to The Mountain Astrologer), no one was at all interested. It is said by some that one’s rising sign in your next life indicated what your Sun was in the previous incarnation.?
New moon in Aries — a new beginning in the time of the Spartan sentinel, the heroic defender who, surrounded, calls in a strike on himself without a second thought when the time is right. Sounds as if your dear friend plans to soldier on in service soon. May he be blessed.

Military Strikes Continue Against ISIL Terrorists in Iraq, Syria
http://www.defense.gov/News-Article-View/Article/714311/military-strikes-continue-against-isil-terrorists-in-iraq-syria
– Near Idlib, a strike struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL vehicle.
A strike near Idlib. No ISIS there. Looks like the US are also taking the fight to al Nusra and some of the un-moderate rebels.
This will bring tears to your eyes tears of compassion and tears of outrage –tears for the mother, father, wife and son left behind and tears of rage for those malcriados ( spanish word: maybe it would better be” malcreados”) in Washington DC that 1. couldn’t even thank the Russians for a job well done and 2. attempted to diminish the victory by making a moral equivalence between Assad and Daesh.

I was just reading moonofalabama.org who are reporting that the Americans are shipping 3000 tons of weapons to Jordan and Turkey for use in Syria.
I did a bit of math and figured that’s 3,000,000 kg of weapons, and if you figure 60 kg of weapons per man, that’s a force of 50,000 men. Quite an army.
I wonder what the plan is here.
