“Two months have passed since Amadiba anti-mining activist Sikosiphe ‘Bazooka’ Rhadebe was assassinated, allegedly for his principled opposition to the Xolobeni mining scheme. And although the Hawks took over the investigation no arrests have been made. Hardly reassuring to shareholders in the Australian mining company MRC Ltd, whose long term return on investment largely pivots around getting the mining rights for the “company making” Xolobeni mineral sands. I have been waiting for the cafe to open. Feels like I need a fresh start. The young lady looks like she has something on her mind. I do too and I need to get it off my chest. I’ve been feeling anxiety in my upper chest, kind of a dull ache. I think it has to do with suppressing my feelings. As I stand up and share there’s something that says to beware. Of what I don’t know.
I want to continue to share about what I think will “stop the empire’s war on Russia.” I am expressing this through a metaphor of a love army with ten divisions. This love army is going to take on the empire and stop it in its tracks. I’m not in the love army per se but any army needs back up support. Each one who wants to stop war contributes to the cause even if it is only moral support.
My job is to describe how the love army performs its mission, division by division. The fifth division has now arrived with the orders of dealing with money. The empire uses money to control every aspect of human life. These control mechanisms are the antithesis of love for persons. Persons are merely objects for empire, to be moved about like pawns in their game.
Money is a medium of exchange. In the beginning of our appearance on this planet, there was no money at all. The medium of exchange was love where we held things in common. The communities were small where everyone knew everyone personally and intimately. These communities interacted with each other with the same kind of love.
Money was invented to facilitate trade and commerce. This was the beginning of the end as far as persons or small communities were concerned. It’s a long story with many avenues to the objectification of people. Money detached from love, and left on its own, became a cancer. It was held in check by safeguards, especially the condemnation of usury.
But as greed would have it, money turned malignant when usury assumed the mantle of interest. Interest became a virtue by which the righteous could rule with impunity. It spawned a breed of investors who became the high priests and savants of empire.
The love army’s strategy is clear: return to the prophets, apostles, church fathers, saints and common wisdom that condemned interest and usury. Debt and counterfeit money have gone ballistic. The bubble will either burst and fizzle wildly with the escaping air.
We can support the love army by not taking interest in any of its nefarious forms. We use money because we have to but we do not need to use usury. Even one person using money without usury assists the cause of love for persons.
The image of a love army conveys the message of how powerful such practices are. When combined, the divisions of love thinking, love food, love for free animals, communal marriage and currencies backed by love give us a method for stopping war. There are five more divisions coming to the front which will further our strength.
An uncertain trumpet makes for confusion and hesitation. The standard is tall and proud. No one can measure up completely to its clarion call. Any motion in its direction is not wasted. Our personal actions will stop the war against Russia if the Russians themselves take up these practices and meet us halfway. We are often stuck in circumstances that prevent implementing what is suggested here. That is to be expected but we do what we can.
It’s uncanny but the icon of Christ arises again on the sidebar to my right. He stands within the primal womam sign and his gaze tells me to finish what he started, a revolution of love. Pilate boasted that he had the power to take his life. Jesus replied that he would have no power at all if it were not given to him; and if he (Jesus) asked for it, legions of love warriors, a love army in other words, would come to his side. I have asked for them and they are here.
Transpose that from his cultural context to any other and make it universal. Jesus had a few things to say about money but it was his actions and lifestyle that made the difference. So it is with us.
I thank you all for showing up in my life. I feel better but melancholy. Time to put these blues to slumber. Now I lay me down to sleep; I pray love my soul to keep.
Dennis, when you wake, you will know 2 things:
1. What you spoke second in this cafe is purer and better than anything I have seen from you before. If everything else was warming up for this Cafe May 21, it was all quite worthwhile.
2. I posted my long post knowing of 1 post ahead of mine, didn’t see yours in 2nd position until I clicked on “post a comment”. There is nothing, nothing that I can see that I could possibly poke fun at in it!
And, before I sign off I hope my light hearted but serious longer post relieves some of the weight in your heart, and most of your melancholy. When our purpose is clear and when we see others blinder than ourselves, and know that we can shed light into their dark and painful corners of their souls, we are lifted out of self concern and feel a joy that we are connecting to a larger Self, one that was always here and always will be, when our present aging bodies are “food for worms”, as Mr Keating put it in his Carpe Diem class in the prep school hallway.
For those who were not at the last Cafe, as Dennis was, here’s the scene:

Cpakoine noche!
Hi Dennis,
The army is forming as I see it, and it is very passionate. Sometime I have the impression I’m in outer space and then sent back to earth and then into other dimension. Hopefully we will not be lost in space and time and my epigram from last cafe will give you a new impulse on the way of defense for Russia. I also have an objection – if I may – regarding the animals or pets or more specifically, dogs and cats ( because these animals are in the most closed relation with humans) , they have to be included in that army as well with a specific rank. At some date I will post a story with pets. Till then, Carpe Diem
I’d like to confess something. I don’t need a priest. An ex-priest will do, as long as he’s Irish.
Though I am not Catholic. My first wife was. No children. That was political trench warfare. No time for kids.
Anyway, my confession is that I’ve been playing mind games, rhyme games, number games, word play games (among others) and I’m going to play another type of game. This one involves kids. Or at least one. Don’t worry, he’s disqualified because of unfair advantage. He plays these games with me every day. He’s 9. You see, compared to paying Café Guests (who don’t have virgin anything!) kids have virgin minds that are quick as lightening, that are not calcified. And Innocent!!
Why shift gears and go younger, quicker, sharper, funner still and funnier yet??
Well simply because it has worked well for me. You’ll see what I mean if you invite kids or grandkids to play these games. New Readers, If you are already bored, skip to the fun video link at the end, and share with the youngsters. The long middle part is for Café regulars.
Not that us seniors are useless, far from it! We have the advantage that we know the value of TIME, how much of it we’ve already wasted, how little of it we have left.
In my case, I need to be pushed, because time is short! There’s got to be someone out there that is miles ahead of me in knowing how to de-occult the hidden tricks of the NWO psychopaths! I will gladly allow them/him/her to take the lead, if such a submarine surfaces in this Café!
I’m glad Kim is back. He may take off like a rocket and become another ioan. I remember how he and I connected. Something about balancing my stacks of “combat manual” books to read while trying to overcome abdominal bloating, and he was off to the races, even before the Mongolian Goddesses from human 2.0 drew attention to my Magnum Opus in Defense of Isis (Not Daesh, dummies, True Care, the Sacred Feminine, the right sides of your brains! Creat I’v Eye T!) Jeeez!
And not SEX! My God, Dennis, was hearing X –rated confessions all those years of priestly celibacy such God-awful torture that you can’t get your mind off the lowest of the Seven Chakras??
Okay, Okay, relax man, I’m just bustin’ your spiritual balls. You do have the heart chakra mojo goin’ too, I’ll grant you that. But there are still a few more to go, and Time’s a Wastin’, Brother O’Leary!: Throat, Third Eye (the disappearance of duality, I’m told but I need a year or two of purity —off eating animal flesh!— to know what the heck I’m talking about there, and, last and highest, the Crown Chakra, where with your feet on the earth, in the physical space time dimension, your spirit, your soul, shoots like a rocket through all 7 of your energy centers of Consciousness, through the top of your head, and in a flash is in every corner of the cosmos! And you/we finally understand what mundomaniac has actually been saying for the last couple of years.
And your little “s” self connects to the big “S” Self! While your present 76 year old body is still alive!
Communal Sex? Besides a public health disaster waiting to happen, I’m pretty sure that screwing your brains out (or even just thinking about doing so too many hours out of the day…..) may just interfere with that experience of Cosmic Consciousness that we are said to be here to evolve towards!
Balance, Brother, Father O’Leary, Balance!
I mean really! The Triple Chocolate Orgasm Cake I baked from the Cake Bible may be a fantastic thing,
https://www.google.com/search?q=triple+chocolate+orgasm+cake&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=1099&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwit_sWyyOfMAhVIwiYKHfzHCQsQsAQIGw&dpr=1
but that doesn’t mean you jump into a huge 1000 gallon vat of chocolate, drown in it, and go out of this world vibrating with the Cosmos, taste buds eternally Coming in Your Throat Chakra, into the sweet bye and bye!
Now that’s kid stuff!
Moderation, balance, the divine proportion!
http://www.keplersdiscovery.com/DivineProportion.html
Everything in the right proportion! No gross excess! No severe deficits!
Sorry for the digression.
Simply put, the Café has become much more fun, but in spiritual warfare to stop the Empire’s War on Russia, I don’t think we can rest on our laurels. I think we have to escalate!
And I’ll give you guys credit, where credit is due. Especially iaon, but the rest of you know who you are, also. There IS progress. But who am I to say anything?? I may have missed many a sacred idea and a secret insight due to fatigue, mental torpor, or, just failure to concentrate on what you’ve been saying!
But you also missed a lot of my game plays, and so I think we all could benefit from sharing what we’re doing with some younger eyes and ears and more virginal brains, to quicken the old synapses and the good ole Holy Spirit:
Baseball and Coming for to Carry Me HOME??? No one got that??? Unfrickinbelievable. Ok, OK, maybe sex would help!
Here goes: Every American teenager knows this:
Getting to First Base = you hold hands with your date.
Getting to Second Base = Prolonged necking or kissing. (Not the goodnight peck…that’s trapped between first and second. Picked off. Or should I say “pecked off?” )
Third Base = Kissing with tongues in full oral contact, while at least male hands are busy at top deck level and also below decks, petting, exploring, getting hot and heavy!.
4th Base (It is never called that, non-Americans! It’s called Home! Carry me HOME? Well in Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. They mean Heaven, boys and girls. But there are multiple meanings involved, when Bro Anon is playing with words and numbers. Multiple, multiple, multiple meanings!
Ok, ok, ok, I’ll help out the old brains that haven’t recruited their young virgin brained assistants yet.
Remember “Love Goes All the Way!” ?
As in consummation? As in rounding third and Coming Home? And Scoring????? As in not chickening out and/or settling for anything less than the Total Defeat of Evil????
Ok, no more clues!
Do I need to initiate you guys into ancient esoteric freemasonry? The kind that was for Freedom… Mozart, Washington…..I’m told Pushkin , Putin —but I don’t really know ….would need some help from Russian speakers on that score….. etc not the Fake Illuminati kind established in Bavaria May 1, 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, Mayer Amschel Rothschild and Charles De Lorriane, that perverted the ancient knowledge of the Human Self to try to dominate and enslave the world with it.
Isn’t 240 years enough of their occult mockery of the human race? Ask me about graduation ceremonies, this month and next. Ask me! Total occult mockery! Totally!
I think 240 years of their mockery is enough. But for fun let’s also get the kids involved, as we seem to need their virgin brains. Badly, sadly!
https://youtu.be/03_Tby_ICCw
Proving the Illuminati is Real.
Powers of association require right brain activation. Now this is kindergarten level, but, hey, you gotta start somewhere! Get in the batter’s box, and take some swings! With three Asian-American teenagers pitching female eggs right over the plate!
And everyone knows Asians kick Yankee ass in Yankee schools.
Why? Simple: Confucius say, “Yankee TV too Sill-Y!”…….. “Niga Higa mo’ betta!” Have fun!
I’ll get brain damage turning my head round your lingo-istics! Please be a bit less comical and a bit more ecumenical – and economical – with words.
Anonymous at 7:49 am I answered your comment quite a while ago, but it’s not up yet. Meanwhile I am listening to Elsi’s response. If my post and answer do nothing for you, try Elsi, or whoever else resonates later, in whatever way they do. Something’s bound to break loose somewhere, somehow!
Good luck!

Elsi,
There is a mathematical journal named “Fibonacci Quarterly” , which started in 1963, and is available online. There, you can find all kind of wonderful properties of Fibonacci numbers and its relations to other number sequences, spirals, difference and differential equations, geometry, fractals, music, chemistry, physics, and of course everything….
Fibonacci numbers are closely related to the logarithmic spiral, or the Descartes-Bernoulli spiral (after its discoverers), probably the most important, if not the most mystical, curve in mathematics. The mystery is only partially explained by its connection to the complex exponential function.
J. Bernoulli was so mesmerized by the properties of this curve that he bequeathed in his will that this spiral be engraved on his gravestone. Unfortunately, the stone maker engraved Archimedean spiral, not knowing the difference between them.
Best regards, Spiral
Hi Spiral,
Thanks for the information, but I fear not being so versed in Mathematics as you may think, although seems to me a fascinating world but also very complex. If only I could understand its mysteries….
By the way, for this comment and some others of you I have read, are you a Mathematician?
I´ll take a look to that journal.
Best regards.
Well Bro, I really enjoy all the way your posts, you have a brain and a spirit that needs to be multiplied. As I can see, your kids are not so far from their dad. I liked that “dad, this is my play, you are fired ” . You must be proud of them as I am proud of you, oh what I’m saying, even MORE !
If you think that there are many who don ‘t understand you or your words, is wrong, I think they are on the way to decoding, and there is a lot of work as yourself wrote it with chalk on the asphalt.
But don’t forget that there are a lot of people who are on the way to discover this cafe, and people who are here and enjoy what you are putting before our eyes.
iaon, you are so kind! And to dogs and cats too!
I’m listening to you and Dennis on this issue, but I am not certain yet……I have no pets.
Except the little guy (the Boss….. that fired me…..after telling me to shut up…..) got an aquarium with tropical fish and the Chinese guy who is returning to China but keeping his house and renting it out to us is leaving a 50 gallon and a 75 gallon aquarium, and 2-3 more smaller ones.
Is this good or bad? So many dilemmas, so many forks in the road!
As Yogi Berra said, “If you come to a fork in the road, take it!” Carpe Vium?
Dear Bro anon
as ioan, I am grateful for your contribution, you have so much to share, you all, elsi, and Dennis and Martin and Bat and Kim (are you sure Kim is he? I can only think if her as as a woman) and all of you in your special own way…I think like Dennis I am addicted to this vineyard and definitely to this cafe.
I love all about the magic hidden in mathematics, all numerology and also astrology for that matter BUT I think this are only beautiful side roads. I still do believe the ONLY way is Jesus’ word. Let’s not forget: Yo Soy el camino, la verdad y la vida. Quien me siga tendra vida eterna. I also agree with our pets. I love them, I do not have any

R.I.P, comrade Mozgovoi!
You didn’t die for nothing.
(even though it looks like this until now)
In the next universe it will be better.
Thanks – great music for honoring a decent man.
Thanks, teranam 13, for remembering dear comrade Mozgovoi.
I also posted a couple of videos in tribute to him in the last cafe, since, most probably, next monday I will find it difficult dropping myself around here.
My dear friends, here I am again in the Cafe after a few days of fighting with the angels.I came out with these verses :
Mother and her Son
(and the struggle with some angels)
Crazy things comes in my mind, with the Stars, the Moon and Sun
Watching those two cups of coffee, like a Mother and her Son.
Angels voices in the Heaven, talking in their holy noddle,
And between us but unseen, is the illness in the middle.
You are seeking to reward me ? while behave like Holy Warden ?
Don’t remember what God said? “You will take care of My Garden”?
I’m a sinner and you winner, by you, power is at large,
I am weak and you are strong, but it’s you who are in charge.
You saw me praying, you saw me crying, you saw me fighting with the Heaven,
Am I a liar? am I a thief? maybe a killer? you saw me watching like a Raven ?
Is that your argument for World? well, then I’ll take the side of Lord,
For you are strong and I am weak, and I am fighting week for week.
My Mother is a blessed woman, can’t you agree ? just ask for Mary.
She cared for me with love and tender, shall I give up? shall I surrender?
You know my answer in that Garden, those who behave like Warden !
The Judgement Day is in the near, even if no one wants to hear.
The sacrifice for wasted blood, – not for the killers, they’ll go in mud.
All sufferings and all the fears, with crying, praying and the tears,
It’s not in vain, for like the Dove, the way is always white, as Love.
My lovely Mom, I’m with You here, my arm is weak, but have no fear.
I tell You gently and with love : “You see, they loved the way of Raven,
Loving the Darkness as a King, they shall be purge out from Heaven”
Falling Angels and their Cohorts, saw a sign and hear the Bell,
Jesus coming with His sword, showing them the road to Hell.
Watching those two cups of coffee, saw a Mother and her Son
Lovely things comes in my mind, with the Stars, the Moon and Sun
Angels voices in the Heaven, talking in their Holy Noddle
Between us and deep in us is the happiness the middle.
ioan,
life is a sad story.
I wish you and your mother strength!
life is eternal, death is a myth, it has never been proven
Dear ioan,
we all have been “dead” for Trillions of years. It is only now that we are “alive” for the fraction of a second. After that millisecond we return to the “normal” status again.
No worries! It cannot be that bad there.
In 2014 I lost my beloved Grand-Ma aged 94. But I simply _know_ that she is happily enjoying delicious cake while drinking coffee and talking to her old loved ones.
There is no other explanation. No – with religion it has nothing to do. Just with matters of facts.
She is at the same place where my ex-gf’s two dead cats are spending their time. Raeschik, this red-colored good kitty – he was run over by a car in Ukraine.
Whatever – they aren’t lonely. Be assured of that!
Thanks Martin, I also cannot imagine that life is going out in nowhere, it simply has no logic, as to live , learn, fight just in vain, it’s nonsense. Do you know the story “Die Brücke des Regenbogens” ? it’s about animals in Heaven.Try to find out, es tut gut für die seele.
No, ioan, I wasn’t aware.
But whenever I see a real rainbow I take pictures and like it much.
Tnx for the hint: https://www.google.de/search?q=Die+Br%C3%BCcke+des+Regenbogens%E2%80%9D&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjq6pbWzuvMAhWH8RQKHU22BZAQ_AUIBygB&biw=1280&bih=851
I will read it asap
Dear ioan
Your poetry is so heart felt. The bond between mother and son is special in a way different to the bond between mother and daughter.
I feel your pain as it mirrors mine in more ways than I can say right now.
cheers from down under
Yes indeed Babushka, this bond is very different but there are exceptions even here, see elsi.
The feelings came out from my heart like a rocket, luck to have my mind there to convert somehow in words – as best as I could. I’m happy if the poem could touch your heard.
Stories to start dreaming and expand horizons for your children…. for your inner child….. it is never too late to start breaking molds and start traveling…..
Two years ago ……in the Everest base camp I found a group of very old Nordic people ….most of them breathed with difficulty, like a fish out of water ….. some looked like they would not come out alive…….. but I’m sure that earned them it……

elsi, it’s too bad we didn’t meet in those beautiful years, I would have taken you to the Aula Magna in the UCV in Caracas, where I visited his concerts many times. Sadly there were not too many communists and revolutionaries around in those days, but the few ones were worth the name! We would have had a lot of fun sitting in a cafe in Sabana Grande afterwards…one like this one

Just got here now and find the Café in a sombre mood. I’m having the blues myself: days are short, the weather getting cold and a few other depressing things. But life goes on and one should be grateful for the little mercies that come one’s way. Regardless of what we are at it might have been worse.
To Ioan,
There is a road ahead that you have to travel alone because only you know where it is and where it goes. Go ahead; we’ll keep watching your steps and our hearts will be with you.
Kim
Hi Kim,
Just seems to be so at this point, but later maybe will get some humor too. Of course Kim, I know that, the road has to be walked for everybody alone as the cup must to be emptied till the last drop. Thanks for your feelings. Meanwhile I visited the Ring of Kerry, beautiful place, Killarney National Park with Muckross House and Blarney Castle. Beautiful place, good for poetry and painting.
hey, you are from the southern half ain’t you?
today on the northern one in Bavaria we enjoy the first real summer-day with 30°
unbelievable.
Keep faith.
An Apologia to Christianity
In a previous post I poked scorn at the Christian version of love: all talk no action, because it was the closest target at hand and heart. But the preaching of love and doing the opposite is not a Christian prerogative; other creeds do the same too and the common denominator appears to be the use of religion as an instrument of power by legitimazing it as an expression of divine right.
Some weeks back an Islamic visitor to this blog made startling remarks about the beneficence of Islam and comparing it to the maleficence of Christianity, specificallly on the treatment of slavery. Slaves, we were told, under the tender care of Islamic slave-drivers, were not treated like slaves at all: they were companions, confidants, domestic pets, even teachers, advisers, friends and partners! And that some had higher status than their owners, one slave even becoming an emir! Only the nasty infidels from the West perverted this amicable social arrangement and institutionalized it as a property relation, thereby commodifying slavery!
Among the Saker’s community there is a variety of talented people in many fields and among them some historians who know a thing or two about the reasons why Christians took the task of building empires all over the place: expansionist Islam and its version of “love thy neighbour”.
In my limited understanding of Christianity as I was taught in Sunday School, Christ came to redeem us, sinners, and open the doors of heaven. That used to confuse me a lot and I had to make some elaborate re-arrangements to make sense of it. Eventually, when I started getting glimpses of the Old Testament, I saw the light: the God of the OT was a whimsical, coleric, vindictive, cruel and hedonistic dictator while the God Christ was talking about was more humane. Ergo, Christ came to redeem God, not us. Although God was supposed to be the same, by dint of the trinity trick, I decided that the Old God was the Jews’ God, and the new one for Christians. That re-arrangement also had the benefit of explaining why the Jews are so nasty.
With the slow death of the Western Roman Empire (the Eastern portion of it survived another 1,000 years until the fall of Constantinople in 1453) the Romanized populations were left almost defenceless and the Germanic tribes, until then held safely behind the Rhine or allowed into the Empire as “foederati”, broke through the borders and occupied most of Western Europe. There was the occasional friction (e.g. the Visigothic sack of Rome in 410) but overall it was a peaceful affair and, with the spread of Christianity, the newcomers merged into the Romanized populations, adopted the local vernacular Romance for languages (with the English exception) and formed the nucleus of the emerging W.E. nations: Sweves went to Gallaecia (Northwestern corner of Iberia), the Visigoths settled in Southwest Gaul (Aquitaine, Provence) and later in Iberia; the Franks set up the dominant kingdom of the time in today’s France, West Germany, Low Countries; Angles and Saxons went across to Britania; Lombards and some Ostrogoths to Italy.
Although they were separate kingdoms, the emerging power of the Church became the glue that held them together not only spiritually, but also politically through obedience to the Pope, God’s deputy on earth, and a network of bishops.
I left the Vandals out of the list because they were a bit queer. They went with the Sweves to Gallaecia but there was some misunderstanding about spheres of influence and the Sweves showed them the door. Iberia was big enough and they moved to the South, but even there the Sweves did not feel comfortable, finally harrassing the Vandals to leave the Peninsula altogether and move to another continent, which was Africa, where they went and also got themselves a place in history and languages. And there the Vandals flourished: they conquered the place (which was the breadbasket of Rome), learned to row and by 455 looted Rome. This feat was widely reported by the MSM of the time (the monks) and the Vandals got a very bad press, undeserved because their Visigothic cousins had gone there earlier, caused as much damage but were not much vilified in spite of having taken away the impressive marble “Table of Solomon” the Romans had stolen from Damascus. I suspect that the MSM in 455 was biased because Rome had to pay a higher price for grain.
(I’ll share with the historians out there a funny snippet of the time. One of the main sources of historiography of the time was the theologian Paulus Orosius, from Bracara Augusta, the capital of Gallaecia, who wrote “Historiae Adversus Paganos”. From his description of events he left in a hurry about 410, presumably because the pagan Sweves and Vandals were approaching and, as a man of the cloth, he thought he was in danger. His destination was Hippo, in North Africa, were St Augustine brought together the teachers of Christianity. It so happens that the Vandals followed him to Hippo Regius some time later but by then he had gone to Palestine. One would think the Vandals were after him!)
About two centuries later the Prophet was stiring the nomadic tribes of Arabia into a religious fervour by delivering a message of love through conquest. And it was swift; within a century Islamic armies invaded the lands settled earlier by the Vandals and even crossed the Straights into the lands where the Vandals had come from, which the invaders called Al-Andalus.
At the time Al-Andalus (Hispania) was a unified Christian kingdom after the Visigothic annexation of Swevic Gallaecia at the end of the 6th century. There were internal dissentions at time (very common then because the monarchy, although partly dynastic, the kings were elected by the Council of Noblemen) and king Roderick was at the time busy one thousand miles away dealing with the troublesome Basques (they never give up!). In fact the Visigoths were facing the same situation the English were in in 1066, the most significant difference being the fact that the Jews were the traders along both shores of the Mediterranean, thus in a position of intermediaries between Christians and Muslims, and they traded both in goods and information. After the Muslims victory at Guadalete, the Jews were amply rewarded for their betrayal and became the tax collectors for the Moors. History tells us why the Vandals acquired the reputation of wanton destroyers, it also tells us why the Jews got theirs. With the Christian re-conquest of Hispania there was swift retribution and the question was finally settled with expulsion.
However one may consider the Jewish taking sides with the Muslims as not being a betrayal; they made a choice that suited their interests and they were not in a state of allegiance to the Christians. They were in contact with both civilizations and they opted for the one they were more at home with. The Christian treated them as scum and were tolerated only because they were the traders and, more important to the rulers, who ran a protection racket, the bankers. For instance, one of the kings of Hispania (there were always half-dozen kingdoms in the Middle Ages) Peter (Aragon?) was his name, at one stage decreed that the Jews were king’s property, therefore it became a crime to kill Jews! And he did so not because killing jews was necessarily wrong.
The Islamic wave swept through the central plains of Iberia until checked by the retreating Christian army in the Northern Highlands. Yet they continued into Aquitaine and Provence to the borders of the Frankish kingdom and Europe was lucky that Charles Martel (The Hammer) came from Austrasia (West Germany) to defeat the Islamic army at Tours (near Poitiers) in 732. But it was another Charles (Magnus) who took on himself the task of getting rid of the invaders and started the Western Crusade to assist the Iberian Christians with a constant flow of knights from beyond the Pyrenees. Almost by historical necessity, a convenient holy place was found at Campo Stella to give spiritual impetus to the military enterprise; now “O Camino” has become a quest for the fitness aficionados.
The battle lines between the Cross and the Crescent were now irrevocably drawn and it is worth remembering that it was Islam than drew the first blood. Occupied Iberia became enslaved by an army that the people had to feed by taxes and plunder, supplemented by looting from raids into Christian-held lands, sometimes as far north as Santiago de Compostela where the invaders even stole the doors of the Cathedral. Islam was a parasitic civilization fed by enslavement and looting, in many ways similar to the current Anglozionist empire.
While this was going on on the land, out in the Mediterranean the same pillage was taking place since the early years of the Islamic conquest of North Africa. Piracy at sea and looting the coastal towns became the normal state of affairs, not only in the Med but also in the Atlantic where the Barbary pirates and the Vikings became competitors for the loot and prey along the Western rim of Europe. This went on for centuries and even as recently as the 18th century when a little boy was kidnapped by pirates from his garden where he was playing with his younger sister in an island in the Azores and somehow ended up in Virginia, joined the revolting Americans and became a hero, Francisco. Although he never saw his family again, he was lucky to have escaped spending his life chained to the bench, bending over the oars for days, months and years, like many – perhaps millions – of victims of the white slave trade practised by the Islamic Barbary pirates for many centuries.
To put an end to the depradations of the Barbary pirates on the coast of the emerging kingdom of Portugal, Fuas Roupim was given the task of setting up a permanent navy early in the 12th century and it earned some reputation to the point of being asked to protect the English coast. By 1415 Prince Henry (the Navigator) was among the first warriors to storm the sand dunes of Ceuta in North Africa turning the tables of history on Islam and begin the long journey that took Christian arms all over the place and end Islamic slave-taking – but not quite so because it was from Muslim traders of Benin that the Portuguese bought the slaves for their plantations in the Atlantic islands and, later, Brazil.
Within a century after the conquest of Ceuta most of Morrocco was in Christian hands and the sails with the cross were ploughing the seas all the way to the heart of Islam itself and beyond to China and Japan, turning the busy Indian Ocean into a Christian lake.
Western Christian Imperialism is indeed a nefarious catastrophe for humanity but the seeds of it was the Islamic attempt at conquering the world for Islam to keep people in subjugation as slaves to feed and keep in luxury the Muslim overlords. And that is exactly what the current crop of neocon warmongers in alliance with Zion are doing. And the irony is that the Jews have changed sides again to get the upper hand.
Kim
Kim,
This is an amazing history lesson, very well founded in my opinion. Some time ago in another Cafe, I started to do something similar but starting from Vatican, how this entity became what h/she is today, with the parallels on Judaism and Islam. This subject is very interesting and profound, I’m glad that you made it in such a deep and entertaining form – although shortened in time and space – letting the essence to come to surface. Many thanks !!
Kim, are you a historian, a teacher or a lifelong student of these things?
What resonated in particular was your discussion of Iberia, with my interest in the Moorish occupation, El Cid, The inquisition, the expulsion of the Jews, Schiller’s Don Carlos, Goya’s Los Caprichos
https://artstor.wordpress.com/2014/09/29/goyas-los-caprichos-a-magnificent-failure/
(I particulary like “The Sleep of Reason” and “Tu Que No Puedes” “You who cannot do it” that is, in my interpretation, you who cannot be a man of principle, but can carry a donkey more than twice your weight (Oligarchy, mind control?) on your back!
And Carroll Quigley’s discussion in Tragedy and Hope of the common Arabic tribal culture he calls the dominant culture from West Asia to the West coast of South America, and north into Mexico, “The Pakistan-Peru Axis”.
In Quigley’s view it is the ancient Asiatic warrior tribalism that you seem to be talking about, as defiantly resisting and apparently outlasting the moral teaching of all three Abrahamic religions, not Islam per se. I’d be interested to hear your take on that!
@ Anonymous
“…are you a historian, a teacher or a lifelong student…?”
All of the above actually, a bit like my mentor, Charles Ralph Boxer, who was a soldier and became a historian and holder of the chair of Camoens Studies at Kings College.
My main interests were the Napoleonic Wars and European Expansion and had a good grounding in French Literature, starting with a historian, Jean Froissart, and Chanson de Roland.
Heard of Quigley, from memory, he was an establishment man, with conservative views. In a previous post I wrote about the demise of popular rebellion against the modern state, and indeed harking back to the days, even in the Middle Ages, of direct democracy (e.g. the guilds) and popular uprisings and resistance (e.g. the Basques).
Thank you for the link. Obviously I’m familiar with Goya; his 3rd of May is etched in my mind.
Cheers
‘Twas I above, committing the Sin of Kim, to ignore the name box!
Here is the 3rd of May painting by Goya, below the 2nd of May, with a short readable history lesson of Napoleon’s treachery against his alliance with Spain. Sort of an Operation Barbarossa going west?

Quigley is well worth reading though he wrote 50-60 years ago, he revealed a lot, while managing to avoid getting shot.
I will answer Vercia on Jesus in this Cafe, posting a section of Tragedy and Hope that perfectly addresses her post.
His insights into Russia (humorous and infuriating perhaps, but not altogether off) and Germany, and last but not least the USA (perhaps the most searing, psychic knife thrust (pen thrust?) of all!) will come in due course.
He is complex, as is the current historical juncture, and an insight into the Anglo-American establishment from his insider perspective is not to be dismissed, but to be explored, to know the enemy he definitely knew, from the inside. I think he personally, as a teller of as much truth as he could get away with telling, is still interesting and relevant, as neither the devilish master planner of Empire NOR a saviour hero for the human race.
@ Bro Anon
Forgiven for the sin. I will read it, if I can. I have a vague idea he proposed a strict scientific study of history, which is not achievable. History leaves very few facts and even those very few are tainted. Nevertheless, it’s a good guide.
Kim
Dear Kim
I do not know if you read The Saker’s reflection on modern Christianity,
/a-negative-view-of-christianity-and-religion-in-general/
to me, this article was an eye opener on the many views used to justify all kinds of horrors, so to say the root of this misconceptions.
This theological conceptualization runs, so the way I understand it, parallel to the historical facts.
cheers
Hi everybody!
Check out the video by Sting I posted in my sandbox. It is an amazing song, with three very distinct and totally different parts, yet it does feel like one whole. Sting always hires top quality Jazz musicians, hence his arrangements are always top quality. Check it out, it is beautiful :-)
Sorry for not dropping by as often as I wish, my life is always kinda crazy and insanely busy. But it is good to have you here. Herb’s idea of having this cafe is, imnsho, nothing short of absolutely fantastic.
By the way – I am an espresso kind of guy. or even a ristretto (same thing as an espresso, but with half the water). in high-school I even drank double-ristrettos. you can think of it as “legal speed” :-)
One more thing: strong coffee should always be served with a glass of cool water. Mediterranean people know that.
So, garçon, a double-ristretto, a croissant, and a glass of water please!
Hugs and cheers,
The Saker
I too became addicted to coffee when I was studying, especially needing one before Pharmacology classes, so tedious for me …..because of those really bad teachers…only reciting the Vademecum like parrots…
And I always take a glass of water after taking coffee ….
Really love ristretto … so …. another one for me, please, comrade waiter, and a glass of water!
I had a bit of a hard time in Turkey, where I could only find Turkish coffee, which I do not like at al,l with so much sediment…..but I can remember the incomparable taste of a cup of coffee a group of men invited me to in the street, in Stone Town, Zanzíbar …..
My first smell of coffee was on a tugboat in the Persian Gulf, age 5 or 6.
Foreigners that worked for the Saudi Government Railroad and Port of Dammam were on an all day weekend fishing outing, trolling lines for barracuda and other fish off the sides and stern of the borrowed tug. Many parts of the Persian Gulf near that port, anyway, are quite shallow and we were way past nightfall getting into the dock because of the tug getting stuck repeatedly on submerged sandbars.
I remember the Arab crew taking a coffee break all huddled and squatting around a large brass pot of coffee so thick they only served it to each other in tiny little cups without handles. Powerful aroma mixed with salt air and the smell of the exposed diesel engine and the lights illuminating it, in a gulf of darkness, way past a child’s bedtime.
Is Arabic coffee thicker or thinner than ristretto? I don’t know, but I learned another Italian word today…………
I never drank coffee til middle age. But I like this cafe the best. It’s world class! Thanks Saker, and Herb!
Hi Saker,
tnx for the music.
But maybe more urgent: Maybe you could post an article about this insanity – same as in Nazi-Germany when they occupied all of Poland (the real polish parts which didn’t have german names) :

Herb’s idea of having this cafe is, imnsho, nothing short of absolutely fantastic”.
Totally agree, super great idea, Herb!
this cafe is one of the best things I had in the last times…deeply thankful to Herb!
I think there must be something simillar to coffee in heaven, or it would just not be heaven.
The smell of fresh coffee should be listed as one of world wonders. I love expresso, ristretto is too bitter for my taste. In Venezuela we call it ‘un negrito’ and most people drink it with sugar. Then there is another version of it, ‘el guayoyo’, is small and watery as wel as very sweet. You get this everyhere, at the auto garage, in the beauty parlor, and almost in every office.
Well there you have it -definitive proof that Putin ‘dunnit’, trumpeted from that bastion of fair and neutral reporting -the one and only British Bloviator Corp.
MH17 crash: Victims’ families sue Putin and Russia
“The claim is for 10 million Australian dollars ($7.2m; £4.9m) for each victim, and the lawsuit names both the Russian state and its president as respondents.
Jerry Skinner, a US-based aviation lawyer leading the case, told News.com.au it was difficult for the families to live with, knowing it was “a crime”.
“The Russians don’t have any facts for blaming Ukraine, We have facts, photographs, memorandums, tonnes of stuff.” ”
Is that the capitalized royal ‘We’ after ‘Ukraine’ and the comma?
Perhaps that US judge from New York who imposed that $10.5 billion fine on Iran for causing 9/11 could assist the EU court? For a small fee you understand.
Evidence would neither be desired nor required and ‘The USA’ would of course have diplomatic immunity against any counter-suit.

Russia and the Vatican: Why the Holy See Seeks Cooperation With Moscow
http://sputniknews.com/europe/20160521/1040026436/vatican-cooperation-moscow.html#ixzz49JcjAFBF
Moscow and the Holy See are working together on the issue of moral values and persecuted Christians. This cooperation is beneficial for both parties, from a diplomatic and political viewpoint, the French newspaper Le Figaro wrote.
According to Le Figaro, since the end of the Cold War, the Vatican has always been willing to hold a dialogue with Moscow.
“Russia has become one of the centers of a new polycentric world order, an empire in the process of establishment, which one should offer one’s hand,” political expert Canstance Colonna-Cesari said cited by the newspaper.
After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the relations between Moscow and the Vatican were characterized by significant tensions. However, over the past few years ties between Russia and the Holy See have strengthened, especially after Vladimir Putin’s conversation with Pope Francis in November 2013, and the historical meeting of Pope Francis with Patriarch Kirill in Havana in February 2016.
On February 12, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met Pope Francis at an airport in Havana, Cuba, where they signed a joint declaration. It was the first time that Catholic and Russian Orthodox spiritual leaders held face-to-face talks since Christianity split into western and eastern branches in 1054.
Restoring ties with the Vatican, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church speak about strategic alliance with the Catholic Church aimed at defending “traditional Christian values.” In their joint declaration, the leaders of the two churches urged to protect the persecution of Christians in the Middle East and called on the international community to take action in this direction.
According to the expert, the Vatican is interested in rapprochement with Russia for several reasons. First of all, one needs to come to terms with Russia as it is a strong energy and military power, which at the same time is restoring its status as a world power, getting more and more oriented to the east and adheres to Orthodox values.
On the other hand, there is a diplomatic reason behind the Vatican’s desire to cooperate with Moscow: a possibility to enhance its involvement in Syria thanks to Vladimir Putin’s good relationship with Damascus as well as Russia’s ability to veto any decision of the UN Security Council with regard to the Syrian crisis.
According to the newspaper, the alliance also has its political relevance for Moscow, especially taking into account the close connection between the Kremlin and the Russian Orthodox Church, the newspaper wrote.
“Relations with the Holy See are intertwined with the main goal of Putin’s foreign policy: to return the status of a super power,” the newspaper wrote.
“The situation in the Middle East gives Putin an opportunity to emphasize Russia’s role in the international arena and present himself as a defender of eastern Christians in the spirit of Catherine the Great,” it continued, citing political expert Yves Hamant.
New US ambassador in Ukraine. Pyatt is moving to Greece.

Tnx for this.
That’s no good future for Greece.
We all know the timing of his cv:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_R._Pyatt#Career
“””””Career
Pyatt took the Oath of Office of United States Ambassador to Ukraine on July 30, 2013 in the Harry S Truman Building of the US State Department in Washington, D.C.[1] Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych accepted Pyatt’s credentials on August 15, 2013.[3] After his appointment, Pyatt started actively studying the Ukrainian language.[1] On October 15, 2013 Pyatt attended an international conference on fighting anti-Semitism in Kiev, but could not address the audience at the event due to the United States federal government shutdown of 2013.[5]
Pyatt became part of a diplomatic scandal in January 2014, when his conversation with the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, Victoria Nuland, was apparently intercepted and uploaded to YouTube.[6]
Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt greet Ukrainian President-elect Petro Poroshenko before he met with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Warsaw, Poland, on June 4, 2014
Pyatt supported the 2014 Ukrainian revolution against Ukraine’s President Victor Yanukovych.[6][7]
Pyatt characterised pro-Russian separatist rebels in Donetsk and Luhansk as “terrorists”.[8]
On September 25, 2015, during his speech at Odesa Financial Forum, Pyatt criticized Ukrainian Prosecutor’s office.[9]
On May 19, 2016, he was nominated by U.S. President Barack Obama to serve as United States Ambassador to Greece.[2]”””””
Isn’t Greece already trashed and now IMF debt slaves for perpetuity? What further mischief can be wrought by Pyatt (+Nuland&co) or is he is just being parked there ready for the next available chaos elsewhere?
Recently somebody asked me if I’m a woman or a man. Here is my answer :
Mr and Ms Anonymous
Somebody has put a question :
What’s your gender in the real ?
Well, it’s sound like insurrection.
Have to make with you a deal :
You’re my mommy, I’m your dad
What the hell is wrong with that ?
If this sounds like cacophony
Be my dad and I’m your mommy
If the deal is good for you
I am saying : for me too
But don’t ask later for money
Would be shit in van of honey

At thirty comments and counting, this thinking woman cafe with the full moon hat and the dark man thinking her, is so rich that I must reprise it anew. I doubt that I will have time to satisfy my addiction to the sweet nectar of love served here and that I’ll probably have to reprise my reprise in some kind of non-ending fibonacci sea-quench of spira mirabilia.
This vineyard is becoming so passionate that I’m beginning to favor keeping it a best kept secret lest it be overrun with numbers incalculable. But my selfishness interrupts.
The political is the personal. In the love philosophy, objects reduce to subjects and beingness to loveliness. Bro Anon, bless his heart and saints preserve him, cautioned against overplaying word play (which I have just countervened) so I will try to take the hint, and subject my discourse to feet on the ground reasonableness.
Carpe diem. Seize the day. Let me think as a nine year old and think twice as a ninety year old. I think of the possible suicide of Mr. Keating who taught teen year olds to seize it and brought them to the door of death in a dramatic fashion. Death is always on the horizon, as it was for me at nine years. If I ever forgot it, the church reminded me of where to pay my dues and take my clues.
To this day, I cannot shake those lost home blues. The right side of my brain is at war with my rite side. Anon is right, it will take a virgin brain to stop their fight. I didn’t mean to bring in sex so early but she came in anyway with the word virgin. I hope this kid’s stuff will now mature into adult consideration of man’s straight talk and womam’s intuitive walk.
Yes, in our culture sex is said to be the first chakra but I disagree. Sex is the first if we are sitting down, as in the yogi/yoga posture. But if we stand as a man or a womam, our feet are the first chakra and sex the second. The time has come for us to get off our assets in meditation and stand our ground in dedication.
I welcome any “busting my balls” gift. If I was in the state of anxiety like yesterday, it would have hurt and possibly crushed me; but today I think I can take the heat. But I heed the memory to remind me of how quickly I can fall into a non-functional basket case. It seems to stick me in the upper chest, lower throat area which I interpret as stuffing my feelings. It’s the ache of repression, and in my case sexual repression.
If the third eye, on the other hand, is the “disappearance of duality”, I don’t know, which might be the very point, as I think of it now.
Communal sex seems to be the sticking point, if not a “Triple Chocolate Orgasm Cake.” I admit that the term is shock and aweing but maybe that is its point. To appreciate its taste, some need strong coffee or sweet wine. But I digress.
I loved the presentation of Divine Proportion, Golden Section and Ratio, fibonacci sequence, logarithmic spiral, spira mirabilis, flowers, Golden Triangle, Rectangle and the Mean making love with her Extremes in music and art. Thank you for this gift.
My own presentation at The Love Government starts with numbers as the base of creation. I think in terms of Number, Space and Time on one hand and Life, Light and Sound on the other with Form/Mass in the middle; in a sequence of ascending and descending seven’s.
I agree that we are in a spiritual warfare that is escalating. Bro Anon, I loved your meta-metaphor of baseball and its diamond in the rough. Home as fourth base goes all the way and your nine year old’s exegesis is just too precious for words. I was brought up with baseball but never knew what it was about til now. You are so right: love does go all the way home, sliding in if necessary. She does desire a total win for love and a total defeat for evil, like Bobbie Thompson’s shot down the third base line that was heard around the world. I recall sitting in a grade school classroom where the nun had the game on. Irony upon irony.
May 1, 1776 will now stick in my mind along with Adam (Jesuit?), Mayer and Charles. I do ask you about the graduation ceremonies.
At this point, I must triangulate out of here by way of Bermuda to attend a fateful and dreaded encounter in the twilight zone. I will carry on the good fight later. I take you all with me for this fated hour.
Highly entertaining, Dennis. I laughed out loud at the mind’s image of the nuns listening to the World Series on their transistor radios while teaching young boys to be good. Let’s hope they weren’t gambling on the game!
i guess even sexually repressed females need to get their kicks, and will, one way or the other. The image now is of a group of them on choppers, riding in their habits, out on Route 66, those masculine Harleys giving those thighs plenty of vibrations.
If I had ever been baptized, I’d feel the guilt of blasphemy, but you came first and took all the heat off of me.Thank you Brother, thank you!
The cap and gown and the rolled up diploma? I’ll give that little masonic class before this Cafe Classy Lassie shuts its doors on Monday. A wife awaits her husband, and he’d better not delay.
“I agree that we are in a spiritual warfare that is escalating” by Dennis
Truly a home-run!!
Bro Anon keeps reminding us of how to read the signs, we know they are everywhere, fibonaccis, and the whole nature has the unused and not yet misused signs we need to decode, but mostly our duty is to identify our side, know the core of our oneness…feel it, name it, try it…because we will have to fight for it, there is only one Gospel: love Him above all things, and our brother like ourselves…the rest means nothing f we are not able to get this done, and we are getting there…yes, we are
Vercia, I am placing this here, but due to length,a bit wider this way, for your consideration and also Elsi, but I would not doubt that the Basque area of Spain was affected much less by the hundreds of years of Moorish occupation than Southern Spain, or other parts, for that matter.
This is not meant to give a hard time to anyone in any of the parts of the world affected by the following analysis by Carroll Quigley, 1966 author of Tragedy and Hope. But it is followup to a question I asked of Kim’s historical analysis above, the fact that I lived in the Arab world for 7 years and in South America for 5, and in the SW USA, where the largest minority is hispanic, for about 27 years.
But rather to illustrate how deep some of the problems of the human race go, into the past. And, it is not to say that things are not shifting at this very moment, from past patterns. But it is to identify a challenge, an obstacle in the parts of the world where this general analysis does still apply, and will have to be understood to be overcome. And no doubt, every other part of the world has something analogous in it.
But I put it here to begin a discussion that is deeper in respect to religion, and Vercia’s optimistic expression of the Christian Gospel of Love, Dennis’ long journeys in the Sinai, so to speak, and even unbeliever Martin, whose atheism(?) is belied by his spiritual support of ioan, which struck me as more profound than many of the unoriginal platitudes that some church goers commonly utter.
Professor Quigley said:
“The problem of finding constructive patterns for Latin America is much more difficult than the problem of finding constructive priorities. One reason for this is that the unconstructive patterns that now prevail in Latin America are deeply entrenched as a result of centuries and even millennia of persistent background. In fact, the Latin American patterns that must be changed because today they are leading to social and cultural disruption are not really Latin American in origin, or even Iberian for that matter, but are Near Eastern, and go back, for some of their aspects, for two thousand or more years. As a general statement, we might say that the Latin American cultural pattern (including personality patterns and general outlook) is Arabic, while its social pattern is that of Asiatic despotism. The pattern as a whole is so prevalent today, not only in Latin America, but in Spain, Sicily, southern Italy, the Near East, and in various other areas of the Mediterranean world (such as Egypt), that we might call it the “Pakistani-Peruvian axis.” For convenience of analysis we shall divide it into “Asiatic despotism” and the “Arabic outlook.”
We have already indicated the nature of Asiatic despotism in connection with traditional China, the old Ottoman Empire, and czarist Russia. It goes back to the archaic Bronze Age empires, which first appeared in Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Indus Valley, and Northern China before 1,000 B.C. Basically, such an Asiatic despotism is a two-class society in which a lower class , consisting of at least nine-tenths of the population, supports an upper, ruling class consisting of several interlocking groups. These ruling groups are a governing bureaucracy of scribes and priests associated with army leaders, landlords, and money lenders. Such an upper class accumulated great quantities of wealth as taxes, rents, interest on loans, fees for services, or simply as financial extortions. The social consequences were either progressive or reactionary, depending on whether this accumulated wealth in the possession of the ruling class was invested in more productive utilization of resources or was simply hoarded and wasted. The essential character of such an Asiatic despotism rests on the fact that the ruling class has legal claims on the working masses, and possesses the power (from its control of arms and the political structure) to enforce these claims. A modified Asiatic despotism is one aspect of the social structures all along the Pakistani-Peruvian axis.
The other aspect of the Pakistani-Peruvian axis rests on its Arabic outlook. The Arabs, like other Semites who emerged from the Arabian desert at various times to infiltrate the neighboring Asiatic despotic cultures of urban civilizations, were, originally, nomadic, tribal peoples. Their political structure was practically identical with their social structure and was based on blood relationships and not on territorial jurisdiction. They were warlike, patriarchal, extremist, violent, intolerant, and xenophobic. Like most tribal peoples, their political structure was totalitarian, in the sense that all values, all needs, and all meaningful human experience was contained within the tribe. Persons outside the tribal structure had no value or significance, and there were no obligations or meaning associated in contacts with them. In fact, they were hardly regarded as human beings at all. Moreover, within the tribe, social significance became more intense as blood relationships became closer, moving inward from the tribes through clans to the patriarchal extended family. The sharp contrast between such a point of view and that associated with Christian society as we know it can be seen in the fact that such Semitic tribalism was endogamous, while the rule of Christian marriage is exogamous. The rules, in fact, were directly antithetical, since Arabic marriage favors unions of first cousins, while Christian marriage has consistently opposed marriage of first (or even second) cousins. In traditional Arabic society any girl was bound to marry her father’s brother’s son if he and his father wanted her, and she was usually not free to marry someone else until he had rejected her (sometimes after years of waiting).
In such traditional Arabic society, the extended family, not the individual, was the basic social unit; all property was controlled by the patriarchal head of such a family and, accordingly, most decisions were in his hands. His control of the marriage of his male descendants was ensured by the fact that a price had to be paid for a bride to her family, and this would require the patriarch’s consent.
Such a patriarchal family arose from the fact that marriage was patrilocal, the young couple residing with the groom’s father so long as he lived, while he continued to live with the groom’s paternal grandfather until the latter’s death. Such a death of the head of an extended family freed his sons to become heads of similar extended families that would remain intact, frequently for three or more generations, until the head of the family dies in his turn. Within such a family each male remains subject to the indulgent, if erratic control of his father and the indulgent, and subservient care of his mother and unmarried sisters, while his wife is under the despotic control of her mother-in-law until her production of sons and the elimination of her elders by death will make her a despot, in turn, over her daughters in law.
This Arabic emphasis on the extended family as the basic social reality meant that larger social units came into existence simply by linking a number of related extended families together under the nominal leadership of the patriarch who, by general consensus, had the best qualities of leadership, dignity, and social prestige. But such unions, being personal and essentially temporary, could be severed at any time. The personal character of such unions and the patriarchal nature of the basic family units tended to make all political relationships personal and temporary, reflections of the desires or whims of the leader and not the consequence or reflection of any basic social relationship. This tended to prevent the development of any advanced conception of the state, law, and the community (as achieved, for example, by the once tribal Greeks and Romans). Within the family, rules were personal, patriarchal, and often arbitrary and changeable, arising from the will and often from the whims of the patriarch. This prevented the development of any advanced ideas of reciprocal common interests whose interrelationships , by establishing a higher social structure, created, at the same time, rules superior to the individual, rules of an impersonal and permanent character in which law created authority and not, as in the Arabic system, authority created law (or at least temporary rules). To this day the shattered cultures along the whole Pakistani-Peruvian axis have a very weak grasp of the nature of a community or of any obligation to such a community, and regard law and politics as simply personal relationships whose chief justification is the power and position of the individual who issues the orders. The state, as a structure of force more remote and therefore less personal than the immediate family, is regarded as an alien and exploitative personal system to be avoided and evaded simply because it is more remote (even if of similar character) than the individual’s immediate family.
This biological and patriarchal character of all social relationships in Arab life is reflected in the familiar feature of male dominance. Only the male is important. The female is inferior, even subhuman, and becomes significant only by producing males (the one thing, apparently, that the dominant male cannot do for himself). Because of the strong patrilocal character of Arab marriage, a new wife is not only subjected sexually to her husband; she is also subjected socially and personally to his family, including his brothers, and, above all, his mother (who gained this position of dominance over other females in the house by having produced male children). Sex is regarded almost solely as simply a physiological relationship with little emphasis on the religious, emotional, or even social aspects. Love, meaning concern for the personality or developing potentialities of the sexual partner, plays little role in Arabic sexual relationships. The purpose of such relationships in the eyes of the average Arab is to relieve his own sexual desire or to generate sons.
Such sons are brought up in an atmosphere of whimsical, arbitrary, personal rules where they are regarded as superior beings by their mother and sisters and, inevitably, by their father and themselves, simply on the basis of their maleness. Usually they are spoiled, undisciplined, self-indulgent, and unprincipled. Their whims are commands, their urges are laws. They are exposed to a dual standard of sexual morality in which any female is a legitimate target of their sexual desires, but the girl they marry is expected to be a paragon of chaste virginity. The original basis for this emphasis on a bride’s virginity rested on the emphasis on blood descent and was intended to be a guarantee of the paternity of children. The wife, as a child producing mechanism, had to produce the children of one known genetic line and no other.
The emphasis on the virginity of any girl who could be regarded as acceptable as a wife was carried to extremes. The loss of a girl’s virginity was regarded as an unbearable dishonor by the girl’s family, and any girl who brought such dishonor on a family was regarded as worthy of death at the hands of her father and brothers. Once she is married, the right to punish such a transgression is transferred to her husband.
To any well-bred girl, her pre-marital virginity and the reservation of sexual access to her husband’s control after marriage (“her honor”) have pecuniary value. Since she has no value in herself as a person, apart from “her honor,” and has little value as a worker of any sort, her virginity before marriage has a value in money equal to the expense of keeping her for much of her life since, indeed, this is exactly what it was worth in money. As a virgin she could expect the man who obtained her in marriage to regard that asset as equivalent to his reciprocal obligation to support her as a wife. As a matter of fact, her virginity was worth much less than that, for in traditional Arabic society , if she displeased her husband, even if she merely crossed one of his whims, he could set her aside by divorce, a process very easy for him, with little delay or obligation, but impossible to achieve on her part, no matter how eagerly she might desire it. Moreover, once her virginity were gone, she had little value as a wife or as a person, unless she had mothered a son, and could be passed along from man to man, either in marriage or otherwise, with little social obligation on anyone’s part. As a result of such easy divorce, and the narrow psychological basis on which sexual relationships are based, plus the lack of value of a woman once her virginity is gone, Arab marriage is very fragile, with divorce and broken marriage about twice as frequent as in the United States. Even the production of sons does not ensure the permanence of the marriage, since the sons belong to the father whatever the cause of the marriage disruption. As a result of these conditions, marriage of several wives in sequence, a phenomenon we associate with Hollywood, is much more typical of the Arabic world and is very much more frequent than the polygamous marriage , which, while permitted under Islam, is quite rare. No more than 5 percent of men in the Near East today have more than one wife at the same time, because of the expense, but the number who remain in monogamous union until death is almost equally small.
As might be expected in such a society, Arabic boys grow up egocentric, self-indulgent, undisciplined, immature, spoiled, subject to waves of emotionalism, whims, passion, and pettiness. The consequence of this for the whole Pakistani-Peruvian axis will be seen in a moment.”
I will stop there for now, about half done, to limit the length, and allow for feedback before continuing on.
I’m hoping this will be somewhat explosive and will serve to tie back in to other things here by myself, Dennis, Vercia, Kim, ioan and more!
Explosive indeed. It explodes the edifice and artifice we have created all these millenia. The big question is what can replace it when it implodes upon itself, eating its own children?
This a grand expose of evil at its base roots. You do a service by pulling the covers off the rot.
I am a fool who rushes into the vacuum of this black hole mechanism of malice. I know nothing but to follow True Care where she leads me. She is sending a love army that will turn the black hole of despair into the white light of genuine care, not without the fruitful waters of tears.
It comes through an Eden Vineyard like energy through an icon. We are privileged to pass on the gifts given to us. We tread the grapes into love juice and serve it upon cafe tables of grace.
See you later down this unscrolling road. Much still needs to be told.
My appologies! I was just starting and then my text just went to moderation. I was saying that I did not know Quigly. It is quite an interesting view with the influence of the arabs and the linking of Pakistan and Peru. I had always thought the root of this, I will call it mentality, which how this group of characterisitcs are called in Southamerica, were to be attributed to the catholic rules which, whatever imposed or accepted is not relevant, do form the heart of the way people think and act. Likewise, if you look into south Italy we observe the same phenomena, but then again do they also belong to the peruvianpakistani axis?
For the rest, I recon the analisys to be quiet accurate. Our societies definetely work like described. Now, for the venezuelan society with Chavez, as well as Chile with Allende, there was an important attempt to change this lack of interest of participating in the social development. If I may extrapolate here a little bit; I think that this change in paradigm is what’s being so strogly rejected by some population sectors who see a threat in assuming these responsibilities as opposed to the ‘revolutionary’ part of the population who wellcome it. As for Chile, every trace of it has been erased by the neoliberal take over.
Again, many thanks for this most interesting lecture.
Gosh, Dennis and Vercia, thank you so much for reading so carefully and thoughtfully. Concluding part in the next Cafe.
Then who should be next?
The Germans with their curious club membership mentality?
The Russians going from one extreme to the other, testing all conceivable limits of what is possible and impossible?
Or the repressed hypocritical Americans, seeking some kind of soul by their white young females seeking of black sexuality, and relief from their own stiff-assed and stiffer minded fathers?
… ‘been away, so busy, but as said before never bored, how could one?
Knowing i should not, i suspend in depth outside lookout. Absorbed by a life i could not exacly imagine and wonder for. Yes it is there, how it makes what busies me appear pointless. Nevertheless i embrace it. I have to stretch the time scale only to convince myself i’m keeping some sort of balance, it worked before.
I met my true brother… 2 years after. He took the initiative. As i am able to still feel any kind of pain… it hurts as before. Because i know: he is exacly where he stand when all shtf (nvm which kind). Well probably not quite, he’s change not that which i hoped for.
He blames, and made me think about, blood bonds and politics. Basically trust that you’re granted as opposed to trust one earns. That was what i ultimately lost. He figures me an hipocrite. To the extent that is afterall true, the hipocrisy identified is our remaining misconception of each other, or as it affects me: what he always misunderstood about myself.
And there i was taking a lesson immersed in so much perceived coldness, side by side. Just breeding the same air, as we all are. It is not necessary to say what i truly and still hope for.
In this sea of feelings, i felt like sharing this with my andere broejes.

Last joke:
Really? ‘Russia destroys Swedish TV mast … over Eurovision loss’
https://www.rt.com/op-edge/343901-putin-destroys-swedish-mast/
” On May 15, a television mast in southwest Sweden came down in an apparent act of sabotage. It could have been pranksters. It could have been local extremists. But personally, I think it was Vladimir Putin getting revenge for Russia’s Eurovision loss.
Come on, you didn’t think he’d really let that slide, did you?
Think about it. Connect the dots. Sweden hosted the Eurovision final on Saturday. The mast came down on Sunday. It’s really the only logical explanation.
The Russian trail
Admittedly, the media hasn’t managed to connect the dots quite as skillfully as I have, but they’re not far off. They really are suggesting that Russia is responsible for the act of sabotage on this television mast — and for damage to another a couple of weeks ago.
It may be part of Russia’s “hybrid warfare” against Europe, according to Wilhelm Agrell professor of intelligence analysis at Lund University, quoted by The Guardian. The ‘Russian link’ was echoed by Hans Brun from the Swedish National Defence college, who guesses that there may be an “international link” and, well, the only other country that might possibly “be interested” in knocking down Swedish television masts is, of course, Russia. Brun did have the sense to admit that this analysis “isn’t based on research” and was just a “judgment”.(….)
(…) To put all these comments in context, the reader should be made aware that the ‘Russian trail’ can be found absolutely anywhere. There is nowhere it does not lead. If someone is stealing apples from your Granny’s garden, it’s probably the Russians. Remember that, and you’ll go far. Particularly if you want a career in journalism.(…)
(….) The closest thing to a Russian response came from the Russian Embassy in Sweden through a Facebook post, which mocked the media and analysts who had suggested Russia was behind the sabotage.
“We are convinced that any Swede with common sense would smile at the depiction of Russian agents ‘preparing for war’ by unscrewing bolts from a TV mast in a remote Swedish region,” the post read.(…)
guys, I’m worried about the couple at the entrance of this cafe. I think they’re in trouble…
I have a song for them
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rejizpNR20A
I’m with you Vercia. I’ve been concerned about her from the start. Billie Holiday strikes the right mood. She’s got pearls and a swanky satin dress, a stylish hat and an expensive bottle of wine, but something is not quite right, and it’s probably the man’s fault, as usual.
“Satin sheets to lie on,
Satin pillows to cry on,
Still, I’m not happy,
Can’t you see?
Yes, I defintely can. Your intuition tells you that things are not right in the right side of this masculine world, there is not enough Love and there may be too much Money!
Satin Sheets by Jeannie Pruett https://youtu.be/Ra0R-N0T2j4
Check out the divided screens of masculine (left brain, right body representation, WAR) and feminine (right brain, left body including heart) in the video portion of this song………..
Her intuition tells her thinks aren’t right in the world or in their relationship and this guy and his Armani suit are not going to cut the mustard, in all probability!
But there’s hope for her:
Big long Cadillac,
Tailor made clothes on my back,
Still, I’m not Happy,
Can’t you see?
I have met a loving man,
Who can give me more than you can,
Even though you’ve given me
Everything money can buy………
I heard it once, on the car radio, driving East, through the Arizona desert at daybreak, about 41 years ago. Don’t care much for C & W, but this one fits the moment and the mood, of the woman and the world.
Bro Anon! you’ve figured it all out! splendid! also the song…you are absolutely right! she wants to be loved on whatever sheets, satin or else!! instead he will only pay for whatever she wants to buy and that’s it! no more! look at him! he’s a banker, obviouosly…and yes….she already fell in love with someone else..sad…or maybe not…she moves on and finds that love!! what is life without romance?..
Interesting article about how the USG is using the much inferior westinghouse (toshiba owned – not American anymore) against Russia, in particular in Ukraine, despite safety concerns: ‘derailing nuclear projects while running into technical difficulties with Westinghouse fuel assemblies in Rosatom reactors is a dangerous way to promote energy security there’ & ‘In 2015 during a scheduled outage at a reactor unit at the South Ukraine nuclear power plant, two of the Westinghouse-made fuel assemblies were found to be leaking contrary to Westinghouse’s claims that those were of an ‘improved’ modification’.

Ishmael in Genesis (of Hagar and Abram) had the same God as did the eventual Israelites and Christians. Genesis even says Ishmael and his offspring would be blessed by Abrams God. So doesn’t that mean Islam and Jews and Christians have the same God? I don’t understand why this isn’t accepted. And maybe Christ will reveal himself in many forms. There is one God. And one way to God thru Christ. But Bible doesn’t say there isn’t more than one Christ. If there is an end time , maybe this secret will be the answer. I believe in good over evil any day of the week.
For the second morning walk in as many dawns, I followed the setting moon hanging in the western sky, a little higher today than yesterday.
It’s a daughter, it’s not the Son or sun so predictably regular in its rising and setting. No, it lags more in setting than the sun does from Dec 22 until June 22. She lags all year ’round, a Moon (month) being 28 days like the Feminine Cycle, a bit out of sync with the masculine Son/sun.
And as she lags and wanes, she will be in the daytime sky for most of the time invisible, until at dawn she appears in the East more and more as she is less and less, finally staying with us more all night, a sort of retrograde setting in reverse.
I am taking in all the conversation and reflecting, as She does, trying to answer or inquire of everyone, quietly, at times invisibly, as She does.
I’m mostly a creature of habit, but not quite like Kant. I walk the same half mile, do a few pushups and return the same way. But now, the routine is altered by the Lunar Way, and I’ll see where that leads me. The last two days it led me to the end of Emerson St, the moon smiling just above the roof of the last house in the cul de sac.
So I decided I better look up Ralph Waldo Emerson,
Who I never even slightly knew,
But dismissed as a deranged lunatic,
Off the beaten paths of American Heroes True.
Now I consciously reject such rigidity,
And seek what someone of a different time
And frame of mind left behind,
To understand the nature of the path
That we each must carefully or carelessly tread,
With guidance imperfect, with more hope than dread.
A former pastor, a man of God,
Like Dennis, he left the ministry,
Convinced in his heart and thirsty soul
That there is more to Infinity and deity
Than other men or books can ever convey,
His restless search of Him or Her
Took him to Nature, as his guiding star,
His beginning beacon, from wherever you are.
So let’s take a look at old Ralph Waldo,
For a peek inside him that we didn’t know!
Forbearance
Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1803 – 1882
Hast thou named all the birds without a gun?
Loved the wood-rose, and left it on its stalk?
At rich men’s tables eaten bread and pulse?
Unarmed, faced danger with a heart of trust?
And loved so well a high behavior,
In man or maid, that thou from speech refrained,
Nobility more nobly to repay?
O, be my friend, and teach me to be thine!
Bro Anon
With each day passing, by each Cafe meetings, your words resonate more passionate, letting out for us to see the colors of your heart and ringings of your mind.
By you, is always there a say :
The Love is always on the way
By you the Love is always antic
By you the Love is belle, romantic
Ioan, I think its reflection of an energy wave that’s vibrating around here.
You pull the string and do your thing, sometimes raunchy, sometimes dear.
Then someone else plucks a different note and off we go,
Thinking, dreaming of what we never expected, and didn’t know!
Vibrations happen that we try to match and pick up on
And add a note or two, that take it in a fun new direction.
But now I have to answer Dennis about my darker side,
Hang on to your hats kids, this could be a wild, hilarious ride!
An important article by Pepe Escobar on RT today:”Beware what you wish for: Russia is ready for war”
https://www.rt.com/op-edge/344002-beware-russia-war-us/
If he is correct, the West has some serious problems.
@ioan: My worst nightmares were as I predicted last month that “they” make it happen, that Hofer by some magical force will get 49.9% of the votes and that pseudo-“green” bastard 50.1%.
Like when the AfD failed to pass the 5% hurdle and allegedly only got 4.9%
Now, watch that shit (allegedly current pre-results), exactly as I predicted :
http://info.kopp-verlag.de/data/asset/24470/firstoverview.jpg
The mathematical probability to receive exactly this percentage is 1 to 1000.
Yet every time they come and want to convince me that this is the “result”??
Here is more on ZH:
For First Time Since World War II, “Right-Wing, Anti-Immigrant, Euroskeptic” Set To Become President Of Austria
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-22/first-time-world-war-ii-right-wing-anti-immigrant-euroskeptic-set-become-president-a
Update:
The alleged “results” counting status this minute shifted from HOF_49.9/VdB50.1 to 50.0/50.0:
http://info.kopp-verlag.de/data/asset/24470/firstoverview.jpg
Nevertheless – to achieve such a tight “result” if millions of voters made a choice – I don’t believe it, precisely like I wouldn’t believe a 99.99% result.
It stinks …, because it is simply not a probable outcome.
What it rather looks like: A psychological number somebody somewhere has chosen to calm the masses while doing the opposite of what most voters wanted.
Believe me Martin, when I saw the preliminary results, I was thinking on you, exactly what you predicted. Now they speak about “Wahlkrimi”. The decision will be on Monday.
The vote seems to be stolen!
Soros got his way.
They say, that it is 50% to 50% without publishing exact vote count.
Tomorrow will be counting of Briefwahlstuimmen. They will manipulate it for the Soros bastrad.
The result without counting post-letter-votes is a clear 61%++ win for Hofer (if not more).
See the map, blue means Hofer has won this Wahlkreis:
http://imgl.krone.at/Bilder/2016/05/22/Packend!_Hofburg-Wahl_geht_in_die_Verlaengerung-Warten_auf_Briefwahl-Story-511247_630x712px_93b089e483abb8f9d3bd94d4ebfbc465__stichwahl_12_jpg.jpg
Same rigging as ESC.
Well “so far” they still say (on RT) that Hofer is winning. But if they do rig the vote through those “Postal votes”. it should be the time for mass insurrection. For Hofer to not accept the rigging and call his supporters to take up arms and not to allow that. Of course I doubt he would. It seems to me when they talk of “European values” today, its a code phrase for obedience to elite power. In the past the meaning of “European values” was different. It meant societies that wouldn’t tolerant (forever) injustice and denial of human rights for their populations. But that was in the past. Today when I hear words about “Parliamentary action, etc, etc”. What I really “hear” is a method for elite control over the society.
In austrian media I read that “van Bellen is leading by 3000 votes”.
That’s a joke.
Out of millions of voters to reach such a patt situation, let’s calculate the probability.
Then calculate the probability to come into such scenarios several times in a row.
Arms? We are not in the US here. Nobody (except the some criminals, migrants and migrant gangs) has any arms. Nor would dare to use them. Nor know how to use them.
Ok, let’s wait for tomorrow.
If van Bellen gets declared “winner”, the austrians might not swallow it as easily as germans (because they have not been exposed to that level of brainwashing and re-programming as the mainland west-germans, therefore it is fair to say that the last real germans are the austrians [with the exception of urban areas, most notably Vienna]), but the majority will stay passive.
They also accepted the murder of their hero Joerg Haider.
They even let it happen that he got discredited as being “gay”, although his wife swears it is a lie (and she said he was a rocket).

My trial by fire yesterday turned out to be a roll in the hay, I’m happy to say.
But there are pressing matters at hand here that need to be attended to. First, ioan’s plea for pets to allowed into the ranks of the love army. The message I’m getting is a very clear and unqualified “No,” but let me soften that injunction with the salve of reason.
Think about it. How long would any pets last if confronted with a pack of wolves? And in the war which is shaping up, a pack of wolves will seem like a bundle of pussy cats and teddy bears. For their own protection, please leave the pets at home. Like I said before, the commanders of the love army are counselling to keep the pets you have and love them til death. But do not take on any more.
As I typed that, my eye saw the icon on the right sidebar. Christ Jesus in the Lover’s Vulva Aura Sign, pulling God and Man into the no man’s land middle zone. This ultimately will be where the war will be won, when the divine and human come together as womam and man: two bodies in one flesh through the renewed rites and rights of communal sacred sex.
Pets give love but they also drain love. And the love army just cannot afford to allow itself to be drained in any way. It will need all its strength and energy to win this battle. As for pet owners or sympathizers, they have many choices, all of them difficult. It took a good 10,000 years to get into this situation and it will take a good 100 years to reverse it. Also, it is not a black and white decision; there are many nuances and considerations. Any action in the direction of freedom for animals is helpful; even considering or debating the issue. The already wild and free animals are in us as us; in that way part of the love army where they give their whole-hearted support as lions and tigers but not restricted to just those. We feel them in our guts.
This is not the only issue in the battle to come. There are ten divisions moving into their positions; there are subdivisions but the ten main ones must carry the day or we will go down in the flood of blood. Pets play their part in the vast learning curve but when we have learned what we can from them, and exchanged all the love we can, it is time to move on into the war of wars, or stay behind with the pets and offer whatever support can be mustered there, bearing in mind that pets, in part, are a drain on the whole operation.
There are many around me who have pets. They are fine and wonderful people, and I get along fine with them. Some of them know my position. We just agree to disagree and we remain friends, not deep ones but friends nonetheless. Nice guys and gals are nice but they are not too useful when the deal goes down. “I’m recruiting an army of tough sons of bitches; I’m taking my army from the old religious.”
I don’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings, change their beliefs or cause them harm. I’m just reporting what the love commanders are telling me; and I might be misunderstanding since they send their messages in cryptic code. It takes years to train most wanna-be lovers like myself; in fact, my whole 76 years this time around has been preparation for what’s coming down.
My intention is to be faithful (semper fides) as our marines would say. I haven’t yet taken an oath of allegiance to the love army because for one thing, I’m not in it, and for another I don’t feel I’m ready. I’ve already broken oaths to an order, a church, a woman and love knows what, but I haven’t “gone to Saint Herman’s (her man’s) church and made my religious vows,” nor have I “drunk milk from a thousand cows.”
The sixth division is coming on in soon; maybe I’ll get some more light then. I think the first probing battles will begin before the election this fall in the US with the heavy armor (amour) beginning the softening up of the enemy shortly after. Some of these divisions have their own air force, navy, marines, coast guard and special units. There’s a lot involved in material warfare but much more in spiritual warfare where one wrong move can spell disaster.
———-
I’m looking over my notes. I think I should close out this comment and take other matters up in the next one. I can feel the heat building. The empire is beginning to breathe down my neck. It senses something in the air. It doesn’t know what yet but it soon will as the army of love is seen on the top of the hill. Then the empire will do what it always has: set up its traps and move in for the kill. We need to be ready, each one of us in our own way, to let the empire know that is now we who will say what shall be. We do it with love, as She’sus commanded: “Love your enemies.”
Could be your “love army” the so called” Mahdi´s Army”?

Shiite Muslims around the world celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (may God accelerate his arrival). Is the twelfth Guide for the Shiites. In Iran ceremonies to remember him are performed.

Yes, yes. A thousand times yes. Any love army worth its salt serves the cause of joy, joining all cultures and cults into its embrace. A sword always put itself into the service of the chalice.
Dennis,
I wrote this comment with not so good appetite, not because of you man, but I don’t want to hijack the Cafe while there is my story of the past in another part of this vineyard. I feel like as being too much to digest in a so short period of time. But the question remains, what to do when I became stuck in this vineyard ? have to kick on my ass and put my mind to rest for a while, don’t you think so ? it seems that when a man is getting older, becomes more dependent on certain things – out of drugs of course. This mania is understood only by seniors who share the same shoes. I’m still trying to grow up to my mind but as the in-fight is evolving, thanks to your “provocations”, and not just yours, I discover parts in my mind, I never thought they are there, in the corner – like poetry.- just waiting for the right time to erupt like Etna after sleep. How long will last this eruption I don’t know. I love politics and history, I love music and art, I love women and sex, I love dogs and animals and nature, I love my mom, now I love also poetry, thanks to all of you and specially Bro Anon and Dennis.
In general I agree with you on pets, Dennis.
I would phrase it differently, but I think the basics our respective reasoning frameworks mesh.
They enjoy us if we are kind and their potentiality is increased by being around beings of more advanced consciousness than themselves (though not all humans are more advanced than them, if morally defective…..) whereas they suffer horribly if we are mean to them.
They amuse us and give companionship, but let’s face it, if you prefer a dog or cat or any other animal to any human being you can find, you’d probably better be working on that problem, rather than masking it over by having a zoo or kennel around you.
In short, they seem like a distraction and a drain, more than any sort of positive that you could gain from. We need to help other humans, and as a result of that, their remaining pets will benefit more by that, by many orders of magnitude, than anything we do one on one with a pet.
Draft animals as helpers in some parts of the world, clearly are a different category.
And eating them can probably be dispensed with, as radical as that sounds. Besides the suffering of other beings the one recently digested argument against meat that I have heard is that in Nature, for the most, part, pure carnivores (except for buzzards!!) will not touch the meat of other dead pure carnivores, even if they did the kill. Lions won’t eat hyenas, I’m told, and vice-versa. And probably nothing but ants and fly larvae will eat a buzzard.
Evidently it’s about toxicity. I am persuaded that plants are a lot less toxic to ingest, and able to provide all the nutrients needed, if you know what you are doing. Not saying that getting from here to there is easy. But probably well worth it. This year.
But fundamentally, there are more important things to do than exploit these lesser evolved creatures, just because we can do it and are in the habit of doing it.
A final note: I was in Germany for 3 months in 1990 just after “the wall” fell and East Germans could freely pass over to West Germany. A west German friend pointed out a West German pet store franchise Alles fur den Hund and noted that East Germans would resent the luxuries the West Germans showered on their pet dogs.
Top US General Votel , head of Centcom and skilled in logistics/operations, visits Kurds ( which faction?) in N. Syria in a no-longer secret visit to Syria but certainly an illegal one.
Looks like they are sending in their competent guns after seeing how the Russians did it.
This man is no political patsy. Looks like things are going to move. Here is a link for what it is worth
http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/21/politics/top-u-s-commander-completes-day-long-secret-visit-to-syria/index.html
France increasingly has its own ideas:
On Friday evening, representatives from several member states said that they were against the introduction of visa-free regimes. In particular, the Minister of Internal Affairs of France said that visa-free travel for Ukraine cannot be issued in the coming months.
http://uawire.org/news/latvian-minister-of-internal-affairs-eu-should-not-hesitate-to-allow-visa-free-travel-for-ukrainians-georgians
I believe we need to keep a close eye on operations concerning Raqqa. RT is reporting a US general slipped into Syria to “help” coordinate an attack against ISIS there. It doesn’t take a military-political “genius” to figure out what the US plan is there. They want Kurds (and others) that work for them to take the city. And for those groups to gain the unbelievably immersive propaganda victory that would bring them (and the US). While totally denying that city and the victory there to Syria (and Russia,Iran). Surely our side must be able to see the disaster that would be for Syria (and Russia,Iran). It would be the splitting of Syria. And if the US formed a “rival” government of Syria from their stooges off of that victory. It would be recognized by the West in a heartbeat. And they would be taking the strategy the Soviets used during WW2 (and that I always lament we haven’t used for Ukraine) .And turn it around to benefit them in their plots to remove the Assad government.
Yes. the situation is fraught with all sorts of disastrous possibilities. The Kurds are not beloved of the population of Raqqa, however, so whatever alliance that the US is cobbling together to take the city and to hold it is not going to be a cozy one nor a lasting one. And therein lies the rub. If it is the PKK Kurds involved, then the US will dump them eventually but it will be messy. And blow back is a B-tch waiting in the wings.
The General involved is no fool either and is experienced and is a man of principle.
I think that the US/Nato missile shield in Romania and Poland is simply the first step of US nuclear strike, they just want to prevent the Russian retaliatory strike by hitting the ICBM s at their most vulnerable stage, when they are not yet in full flight.Russia should destroy those facilities immediately if it wants to survive, NATO will just cry wolf, they are in no mood to fight RUssians. Knowing that there will be a destructive retaliatory strike will prevent them from starting.
Competent reporting from RT
https://www.rt.com/news/343983-syria-raqqa-us-general-kurds/
It appears that the deal with the YPG Kurds ? is that they will help the US Special Forces take Raqqa in exchange for being supplied with equipment and back up to take Jarabulus which means that the US has to totally mess with the Turk plan to create some kind of buffer zone which was a CIA-State Dept. wet dream anyway. So the US military has taken command of the operation in N. Syria from the CIA? Well, at least maybe there will be no more blatant, incompetent bombings of hospitals by CIA-run special ops a la Kunduz.
And Pyatt was demoted to the dead end of Athens on May 19th? Another rat leaves the sinking ship. This Gen Votel has command of Central Asian affairs so he oversees “Operation Soft Underbelly” in regards to Southern Russia. Looks like there has been some major moving and shaking going on. It would be interesting to know just who is on his general staff.
It would be too much to ask for them to start giving daily briefings like the Russian Ministry of Defense did but with their invite of the CNN crew, they are showing that they plan something different in terms of publicity/propaganda. At least it can’t be as cringe worthy as the briefings by the State Dept or can it?
I’m convinced Pyatt left ukr because it is all set up to be what it will be, and is going to Greece to exploit it in just the same way , to extend the Erdogan Caliphate just like Turkey is now ‘allied” with ukraine.
Ok Dennis, here you go. You’ve faced the Devil with Christ, and you want to know: How do the dark occultist of the fake Illuminati kill us and mock us in broad daylight, even when we receive our degree?
And how the hell does Anon Bro understand them, and get their drift, when others doesn’t seem to be able to “get it” even with “it” right in their face?
The answer is simple, and I’ll lay out my credential,
Just as I did with the Goddess, and the horizontal moon:
To understand a bunch of psychopaths, it helps if you have a wee little one inside you, that you starve and restrain, but never quite kill. I was born thinking I was good, I never bought the guilt trip of sin. But in my late teens without a girl’s love, I began dreaming of revenge, toward anybody and everybody responsible for such undeserved torture. In the Glee Club I distorted my tone and drove the perfect pitch master up a wall. Then 2 days from graduation. some other antisocial senior sufferer asked my help, to compose poetic lines for the last issue of the school paper, whose first letters, when read vertically from the top and on down, would tell the whole lot of them just were to go and where to get off.
Now in that particular prep school we seniors had the mornings free to wander off campus, pretend we were in college, do whatever we wanted, just be back for classes after lunch.
So I don’t know why, but I said “Sure.” and it just began to flow:
For all of those who stay behind,
Unto you now we do bequeath
Coming and going with no ties to bind,……….etc, etc Line 4 started with a K, then YOUALL formed the first letters of the next 6 lines THE END.
It all came out in one try, I handed it to the criminal teenage mind, and thought about it no more. Until, somewhat to my surprise, on the back page of the last edition of that year’s student newspaper, someone had encoded a message that wished that everyone in the school would get laid. Who me? Prove it!
Now, while I’ve inspired some and annoyed others ( I thought the first question to me at the start of this cafe was that dog Ewan…and I really let him have it…said he was already brain damaged with left brain imbalance….but then I simmered down, realized that that blocked individual K9 could not possibly have associated ecumenical and economical in the same sentence—-far too creative—, so when my non-agapic post never appeared, I figured it out: I was treading on thin ice…I had abused someone on staff, and they showed me who was boss! And my rudeness would never see the light of day.
But anyway, you and ioan and Vercia may like some things I say, but, sorry, I can’t help it, I engage in occult mockery almost with every breath. Some I’ve already revealed, with baseball, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and teenage sex, but as the infomercials say, ” But Wait! There’s more!”
I’ll help you out: I said I spied the moon (The Goddess Symbol) over Mt San Gorgonio. That’s Big Bear Ski Resort and the entire valley (Citrus Valley….Redlands to Upland) was laid out masonically (by the builders, remember???) who set down BASEline Ave from Upland pointed straight East to the peak of Mount San Gorgonio.
That association led me to BASEball. The Major League team for this Valley is the California/Anaheim/ Los Angeles ANGELS. That led me to “I looked over Jordan, and what did i see” ……..then, subliminally, what should have echoed in your right brains would be the refrain, which I refrained from pointing out, namely “Comin’ for to carry me HOME” and then I did spell out “A band of Angels coming after me” obviously the local Big League team ok, enough, enough! Do you believe my occult mockery “street cred” yet???”
Good! Then we can get on with graduation!
But it would be unfair of me to not share on sigil (complex composition of symbols) with you, since my purpose here is NOT to laugh at you like the fake Illuminati do, but to recruit some helpers“before I die on top of the hill”!!
Here you go. First Degree sigil
http://www.whatonearthishappening.com/images/stories/woeih/podcast/040/13.jpg
Please understand we are still in word play, boys and girls, and unless you start teaching me, and come out of your ancient esoteric true freemasonic closet your brain is still frozen solid but what would you expect at 1 degree fahrenheit? Only when you get to the 33rd degree does ice thaw out and turn to water, and begin to flow like iaon’s feminine right brain poetic lines, whether divine or scatological, or a combination of the two!
This sigil is the Self and the self simultaneously. The temple of Sol (sun) and Mon (moon) within and without.
The base of the temple of yourself is the black and white checkerboard squares of the “floor of the house” or temple.
Some will argue that the black square on top of the black skull cap that I still have in my closet, along with my bachelor of arts diploma from an Ivy League University, and my black gown, is just the masonic “mortar board” used to hold mortar for application with a trowel as the builder or mason builds with stone or brick.
These things are freer, more playful than that. And mockery is key, to enjoy a sense of superiority over the uninitiated, “the dead”, “the unbegun” who are destined to wander their whole lives aimlessly between black (ignorance) and white (the light, knowledge) squares with no consistent direction UP, off of the base of BASE consciousness. As in 9 baseball players on the baseball field.
The black square of ignorance on top of the head, designed centuries ago, is basically telling the graduates “Until and unless WE accept you for initiation, despite your “terminal degree” that you went (today) a quarter million dollars into debt to get from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Penn or Cornell, you do not and will not know sh*t from Shinola, compared to us, dummies! Hahaha!
To further mock the graduates, the diploma is often rolled up and tied with a ribbon, and handed to the graduate as his or her name is read publicly and they all line up for pictures.
Freemasonry and other ancient systems such as Tarot and Kabbalah have a lot of overlapping ideas and symbology. In Tarot there are classes of symbols and one of them is the “wand”.
It is a male symbol of action and power and everyone knows the magicians wand, or the light saber in the Star Wars movies. It’s obviously sexual, and whether you are male or female you want a nice big long one to give potency to your action in the world. No such luck in the graduation ceremonies carried out by tradition and virtual cultural autopilot, but designed by freemasons for their eternal fun and occult mockery, centuries ago.
So, graduates, congratulations! Here’s your degree! You are ignorant and impotent! To your success!
I have to say, that in my case, I know for a fact that they were right! But I had no illusions. I knew it, also.
Any questions about anything? The meaning of the Temple of Solomon first degree tracing board? Anything else???
Thanks you for sharing your dark side, as I think you prefaced. It seems a nice complement to your Goddess of True Care.
I took notes of what touched me. I’ll type them here from my written script there.
Coming for to carry me home.
Wand
Cat killed in hit and run (from comment just below here)
The sexual act of coming does carry us home. I don’t mean just physically or metaphysically but iconically, like an icon carries us through its vision into our true home.
Sex is where it’s at, even in its perversions and reversals. All the war talk here is a transversal of the sounds and grounds of sex.
I’m shooting from the hip, aiming for the heart, so bear with the burden of language and its limitations and discontents.
Coming home is a personal act that plays out in the inter-personal, which is what we’re doing now: making love through words on our way home. It’s communal sex in a common key.
The wand is indeed an intermediary which in a love culture was revered by men and womem as the sacrament that bonded them together in the whole community. It was a magic wand insofar as it surpassed the ordinary rules for getting along.
If the fake illuminati used language to over-power, the true illuminati use language to inter-power those who are ready to receive its gifts while mesmerizing those who would defile and degrade the sacred.
The cat killed in a hit and run tells a tale of nine trials. A straight on exegesis would hurt unnecessarily and fixate the mind rather than free it so I’ll pass on by.
Understanding depends on a context of lived experiences. We share our experiences little by little in a safe zone like this vineyard. We get to know one another on multiple levels of which words is only one. I read your words which my mind barely understands but under their cover something else is happening according to our intent.
If I have the time, or if I take the time, I will read and reread your words for their rhythm and rhyme and their true care. Whether they make sense for my mind is secondary and may or may not click in mentally. If there is a dark side, that can only be because of the bright side.
The fact that you share so abundantly indicates a depth of resources of lived experiences. These lie fallow until shared with a community. It’s risky business and bound up with fears. This open sharing with respect for the gifts of every member of the community is precisely what the fake illuminati attack and attempt to totally destroy.
This vineyard community is a black swan event in the making running under the flag of war prevention. This cafe escapes that cage while making use of the cover.
It’s time for me to shift gears and get on the well traveled road. Let me express through you my admiration for the miracle that is unfolding right before my eyes; but more to the point, in my chest heart, and in my creative center. With the help of magical wands and nine lives cats, I can feel that love army “coming for the carry me home.”
I did a second reading of your post with the aim of gaining greater understanding. I also went to the end of the comments at this time. A link was given to a review of Causation and Treatment of Psychopathic Diseases by Meyer Solomon MD. It might just be an analysis that dovetails with your post concerning in part a Solomonic temple. I may order the book to help pierce the veil of evil (I just noted the bipolar arrangement of letters).
Is nine the base consciousness because of the nine single digits? Is mathematics at the base? According to mundanomaniac’s reading, I’m balancing heaven and earth, like angels on the head of a pin. Somehow all these things connect although I can’t connect the dots yet.
I suppose the psychos on high do like to mock. It must give them a sick joy to compensate for lack of love. The rolled up diploma circumcised by a string must give them glee all the way back to biblical circumcision. Was this the real mark of Cane? I fear that my love of word play may be a minor variation in their game.
I have to keep coming back to the purpose of this vineyard: to stop war. It seems a mission impossible but somewhere deep down I believe I can go from the impossible to the possible to the probable to the certainable.
It’s been quite a journey and it’s not over yet. This vineyard with all its frequenters is a wayside oasis with a welcoming cafe that “gives me shelter from the storm.” I was asking myself what the difference was between a cafe and a salon. I think in the former I get real food and in the latter cookies and tea. Do I want small talk at the wall or bitter-sweet vineyard gall?
If I recall, Jesus was offered wine mixed with gall to deaden his pain. He tasted it but refused it because he knew it was a drug of poison, and he wanted to die as he lived, without any drugs at all, except for wine which wasn’t wine anyway, but a sign of his blood.
This may be a preview of the love army’s sixth division approaching; the one that deals with drugs and their pain-killing addictions.
Allow me to practice coming straight to the point without free-mason mockery. I love you for loving me.
Dennis thanks for the comments. It is such a compliment that you are paying fairly close attention….means I have to care more about quality control, overcome ego (except its primary roIe, to keep the old bones and muscles going)………….I had to work all day and now I notice Tuesday’s date already, so the Satin Sheets to Lie on, Satin Pillows to Cry on Sad Lady in the Satin Polka Dot Dress Cafe must be about to close.
I’ll catch up on other Cafe comments after a bite to eat.
I loved the comment by Dan on Moldova. Why allow such? Well, obviously, without a dirty sucker punch or two allowed to go through, the many skilled counter-punchers get no practice! And man, did they unload on Dan with more impassioned vitriol than I have felt in several days.
That’s the only drug I like, the naturally, morally produced kind that spurs action.. .. Isn’t it something like what energized Jesus and his bullwhip, used to crack the money changers about their hips, and scatter them like a hurricane scatters ships?
I’ll see you on the next cafe…a hug

So high above the world tonight
The angels watch us sleeping
And underneath a bridge of stars
We dream in safety’s keeping
But perhaps the dream
Is dreaming us
Soaring with the seagulls
Astride the backs of eagles
When the angels fall
Shadows on the wall
In the thunder’s call
Something haunts us all
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
Take your father’s cross
Gently from the wall
A shadow still remaining
See the churches fall
In mighty arcs of sound
And all that they’re containing
Yet all the ragged souls
Of all the ragged men
Looking for their lost homes
Shuffle to the ruins
From the levelled plain
To search among the tombstones
When the angels fall
Shadows on the wall
In the thunder’s call
Something haunts us all
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
These are my feet
These are my hands
These are my children
And this is my demand
Bring down the angels
Cast them from my sight
I never want to see
A million suns at midnight
Your hands are empty
The streets are empty
You can’t control us
You can’t control us anymore
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
When the angels fall
When the angels fall

Hezbollah has captured an American and a French spy in its operations in Aleppo, a prominent Lebanese media source revealed on Saturday, adding that the US, Israeli and Saudi intelligence agents helped Al-Nusra Front to find the place of Hezbollah’s martyred military chief, Mustafah Badreddin, and kill him.
Hezbollah special forces took captive a senior field commander of the terrorists affiliated to Riyadh and a U.S. and a French intelligence officer working in the newly-founded joint operations room of Jeish al-Fatah in Aleppo. This was in one of the regions controlled by al-Nusra Front in Aleppo”, Majeda al-Haj, a prominent Lebanese journalist wrote.
Al-Haj said that;
“the joint operations room was set up so that the French and US intelligence agents can directly command Jeish al-Fatah terrorist attacks in Aleppo and nearby regions.” also “the U.S. imagined that the captured spies would be taken to Lebanon and alerted Tel Aviv to bomb the convoy that was supposedly taking the captive American and French officers, but the convoy that came under the Israeli airstrike was not carrying the captured spies”
Al-Haj also pointed out that;
“the death of several Iranian advisors in Khan Touman was not the result of clashes with Al-Nusra terrorists, adding that the senior officers were killed in an air raid by the US planes that took off from Turkey’s Incerlik airbase and bombed their operation room in Southern Aleppo.”
EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini has predicted the EU will extend economic sanctions on Russia despite “differences” of opinion in Europe.
Asked by German daily Die Welt in an interview out on Thursday (19 May) if the measures will be prolonged, she said: “I expect so. EU leaders had coupled the lifting of sanctions to full implementation of the Minsk agreements. This has not been achieved”.

ironic isn’t it when Normandy 4 say it is clearly up to Ukr now
PARIS, May 24. / TASS /. Leaders of the Normandy Four countries (France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine) have called for the full implementation of the Minsk peace agreements on Ukraine, the press service of the Elysee Palace has said.
French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a phone conversation on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko. “The three presidents and the chancellor reiterated their commitment to the Minsk agreements and also their determination to do everything so that they are implemented in full and as soon as possible,” the statement said.
Hollande’s press service said the Normandy Four leaders “stressed the importance of fulfilling all the measures needed for maintaining the ceasefire regime in Ukraine’s east starting from withdrawing weapons, planning to pull out military units and releasing prisoners of war.”

Poroshenko admits Ukraine can get Donbass back only peacefully
“They also assessed the work done on various political issues, in particular, preparing for holding local elections in Donbass in accordance with the Ukrainian legislation and the standards of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe,” it said.
Local elections in Donbass are envisaged by the Minsk accords signed on February 12, 2015, after negotiations in the so-called “Normandy format” in the Belarusian capital Minsk, bringing together Putin, Hollande, Merkel and Poroshenko. The package of measures also envisages ceasefire, weaponry withdrawal, prisoner exchange, constitutional reform in Ukraine and establishing working sub-groups on security, political, economy and humanitarian aspects of the Minsk accords.
The Kremlin press service said during the phone conversation Putin indicated that the package of proposals on local elections, the special status, amnesty, and decentralization had been coordinated with the leadership of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and it would make sense for the Contact Group in charge of attaining peace settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine to scrutinize them. The sides also exchanged views on possible steps towards resolution of acute social, economic and humanitarian problems in eastern Ukraine.

yet ukr itself says
Notorious “Euromaidan” activist, the head of the Odessa crisis media center Alena Balaba called the Minsk agreements a dead end.
She wrote about this on her page on Facebook.
“The Minsk agreements are a dead end. What was supposed to be completed before 31st December 2015 will never be fulfilled. There are negotiations going on in higher circles, like in February 2014. Wives negotiate with other stranger husband’s wives, godfathers with lovers, and so on. And now — Akhmetov goes and finds common ground directly with Putin and the West, and someone else “compromises,”… as with the negotiations with Crimea. The page, about which we still do not really know, we’ll see when we’ll take it back. We’ll return it ourselves, without all those hucksters. The Minsk agreements may end at any time, because people with guns just cannot stand the nerves,” writes Balaba.
In her opinion, “we are all on a huge powder keg, and even try to play on it with matches”.
“I have repeatedly talked with the many people in the military. Everyone says there are two ways to return Donbass:
carpet bombing and full cleansing, which, of course, will never happen, because we are not Russia in Chechnya.
The other option is the active work of our sabotage and reconnaissance groups to eliminate the leaders of “militia” and Russian commanders in the occupied territories, but at the same time – introduce Ukrainian patriotic education in the liberated territories, which in itself includes, first of all, the active work of our media,” said Balaba.
In the comments to this post, the activist added: “we should not carpet bomb. But it is necessary to talk with ours there… Well, and eliminate their commanders, despicable and brazenly, how else?”
In addition, Balaba lamented that “there are no Ukrainian TV channels in the [UAF] liberated territories of Donbass”.

KIEV, May 24. / TASS /. Leaders of the Normandy Four countries Russia, France, Germany, and Ukraine supported a proposal to deploy a police mission in the war-torn Donbass under the auspices of the European security organization OSCE as they held a telephone discussion in the small hours of Tuesday, officials at the press of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko claimed in a report on the discussion.

“The leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany, and Russia voiced support to the unfolding of an OSCE police mission in Donbass and the beginning of consultations on the issue,” the report said.
On the face of it, the press services of the Elysee Palace and the Kremlin did not mention any such support in their reports on the conversation.
Also, Poroshenko called attention to the worsening situation in the area of Avdeyevka, a suburb of Donetsk, and said this was an impediments for progress in the peace settlement process.
“The four leaders agreed that a decisive reduction of tensions and full ceasefire were needed in order to continue political dialogue,” the press service said.
In the course of the talks, the sides also stressed the importance of a full implementation of the Minsk peace accords, including safe conditions for local elections in Donbass on the basis of Ukrainian legislation and the norms stipulated by the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the press service said.

whereas Rus and Donbass most definitely do not agree with the armed police(probably Turkish as Erdogan has offered) in the OSCE.
and any armed OSCE as Poro wishes will be treated as an armed enemy
Tuesday, May 24, 2016 – 09:30
Today’s announcement by the DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko of the readiness to attack an armed mission lobbied by Poroshenko, in case of their crossing the border of the Republic, is a reminder of the fact that such initiatives of Kiev go beyond the scope of the Minsk Agreements.
It was stated in an interview with The PolitNavigator by Mikhail Pogrebinsky, the director of the Kiev Centre for Political and Conflict Studies.
‘Zakharchenko clearly said that without the agreement with the DPR about there could be no military mission, and that if this happened and the mission was armed, he would consider it as a target. It closes the topic that the mission must be entered without coordinating the move with the DPR and LPR. However, Kiev still finds it impossible to hold direct negotiations with the Republics. Accordingly, this means that there will be no armed mission. At least, until direct negotiations.
The position is formulated clearly in order to make it clear that anything that is outside the framework of the Minsk Agreements is not supported by the DPR. There is nothing about an armed mission in the Minsk Agreement, therefore, there will not be any mission. The position of the DPR, and I think the same of the LPR, is that we must move strictly within the framework of the Minsk Agreements. If there is no movement on the part of Kiev, then there will be no movement on the other side, and the border will not be passed under Kiev’s control,’ said Pogrebinsky. ”

Primaries in the DPR, declared by the leader of the Donetsk Republic Alexander Zakharchenko, are designed to destroy Kiev’s lies on the impossibility of holding fair elections in Donbass.
It was said to The PolitNavigator by the Russian radio host and political analyst Armen Gasparyan.
He reminded that it is under the pretext of alleged lack of security guarantees that Kiev is stalling on the implementation of the Minsk Agreements points relating to the holding of elections in the LDPR. Moreover, Poroshenko insists on the unilateral introduction of an armed mission in Donbass.
‘Not by chance did they start talking about the need to enter an armed mission. It is clear that they are doing this, on the one hand, to ensure, under its auspices, pushing through their candidates, causing a very definite reaction in the Donetsk region. On the other hand, Kiev does not rule out a military solution to the issue, and Poroshenko’s statement that he would soon come to Donetsk to sing the anthem of Ukraine is in the same plane.
From this point of view, primaries are a demonstration to the entire world and, above all, overseas backers of Kiev, that there is built a normal, peaceful and human life there.
Please note that the news about the primaries to be held in Donetsk hardly glimpsed on the pages of the Ukrainian media; for them the main event today is a march in memory of the UPA veterans and in support of ATO,’ pointed out Gasparyan.
He expressed the hope that the holding of primaries will soon be joined by the Lugansk Republic.
‘Of course, it is welcome, I would very much like to see a similar initiative launched in the LPR. This is extremely important for the state-building of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics,’ said the expert.

and Nuland has stated any elections out of Minsk will not be recognised…………………
Ukrainian party under any circumstances will not participate in early voting in the DNI. This was stated by head of DNR Alexander Zakharchenko.
“Ukrainian party under any circumstances will not participate in the primaries in the DNI. I understand that the public early voting information that appeared today in the Ukrainian media has caused a stir and resulted in a wave of false insinuations. In particular, it is a lie that we are supposedly waiting for our choice of the Ukrainian party “, – he said.
According to him, the position with regard to Ukrainian parties” is defined and expressed for a long time. ” “Due to the fact that all of them – an act or omission – contributed to the punitive operation in Kiev Donbass, they are complicit in crimes against humanity. And will be judged as to be condemned by those Ukrainian politicians and the military, who gave the criminal orders and do them “, – said the leader of the DNI.
Earlier, Zakharchenko said that public primaries will be held in all districts of the city of Donetsk in order to determine the most worthy candidates for the local elections, provided the Minsk Agreement. He suggested that the election can take place at the end of this or early next year.
“Kiev is afraid and does not want elections Poroshenko knows that his agents will lose them, so he is playing for time, the elections did not take place, – said Zakharchenko. – Sooner or later, the Americans and the Europeans will make him perform “Minsk-2″. Therefore, we must be fully prepared to open the election campaign with any number of international observers. We need strong candidates that can win the demagogues and oligarchs, which will send the Kiev regime to deceive our people. In order to select the strongest candidates and we need primaries. Bandera We won the war, and defeat them in the elections. ”

“Even the US State Department often experience serious difficulties. Especially when cases with regard to the specifics of Ukrainian.
Here is the coordinator of the Sanctions Daniel Fried, speaking to colleagues from the Euro-Atlantic structures, he said that it is difficult to demand from the Ukrainians performing Minsk-2, as Russia has not fulfilled even the first of the complex conditions of the contract.
Then Daniel Fried said that recently visited the Ukraine and he was told that all violations of the ceasefire to blame separatists and Russian aggressors. Consequently, and sanctions against “aggressive Russia” should be extended.
I think that all the difficulties gosdepovtsa would be solved if he had spent at least one night in the frontal region of Donetsk, and satisfied with my own eyes, where actually “flies” …”

hello all you vineyarders and the Saker who watches over all.
Have been busy, so haven’t had time to log on and read.
Also had a shock this weekend — much-loved pet (cat) killed in a hit-and-run. Totally devestated.
Makes me all the more aware of the death, violence and misery deliberately visited on the people of the Middle East, and Eastern Ukraine. I long for a Nurnberg # 2 for the architects.
Someday, my friends, someday.
Hugs to you all
Eimar
I’m really sorry Eimar for your beloved cat, I know what does meant for you.
Very sorry to hear that Elmar. Sad news.
I hear you, every word.
God bless you and your dear pet as well.
Eimar!!! Just yesterday I wondered where you may have gone.
So sorry to hear that about your cat.
Come in to this cafe if you need a friend.
You are one of the few old commenters who remain here since I arrived to this blog and one of my favourites, always so friendly and supporting with me.
I send you a big hug.

Dear Elsi, ~George and Ioan,
Thank you so much for your sweet words. It’s amazing how they help.
Had it had been an illness, I would at least have had some warning….
My beautiful, fun-loving, playful, loving tortoisehell cat arrived into my life with her flea-bitten, rat-eared, huge shaggy-coat white husband twelve years ago. (They also brought some people into my life who have become among my closest friends – they were neighbours in a then new area for me, and were also feeding this family. That’s how I got to know them.)
I became very attached to ‘Daddy’ too, particularly when I discovered he had feline AIDS and was living on borrowed time. He passed away three years ago. Then ‘Mommagirl’ transferred those emotions to me, making me even more aware of our animal’s dependency on us for so much more than food, board and health-care. .) She was my shadow, the third animal in my life (the first were a dog and cat respectively) that I loved the most. I am now left with her son to care for, out of a family of six…
Friends and neighbours have been so kind. (my family dont really ‘get it’, have never understood my strong attachments to strays, ), It was a neighbour who arranged for her remains to be removed and wrapped, so I did not have that additional trauma. Two friends are paying the vet bill for her cremation/urn as a gift. (My family thinks this is crazy – but I am used to that :0)
I am a bit ‘frozen’ at the moment – disbelief I guess. When the full realization hits, the tears will really come. I really need a good, cleansing, marathon weep…. Meanwhile, work beckons…..
Hugs to you all\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;0
[* Breaking NEWS!]
Never, EVER trust polls or ballot exit-polls when they say it’s too ‘close to call,’ 50-50, it could go either way… (etc)
From now on that’ll be proof positive of vote rigging…
The Austrians are beyond f*cked now that they’re gonna be ruled by the migrant friendly, EU lovers, Green fascists.
On top of being over-run by outsiders – depressing their wages, putting rents up and possibly getting their women and children raped whole-sale left, right and centre by these “desperate” rapefugees – they can also look forward to their ‘carbon-sin’ taxes to go through the roof now, too.
Revolting is the only option open to them now… I’m afraid…

In Dramatic Outcome, Austria’s “Right Wing” Presidential Candidate Is Defeated Thanks To Postal Votes
“After yesterday’s presidential run-off round, the leader of Austria’s anti-immigration, right-wing party, Norbert Hofer held a comfortable lead based on votes from the ground, with Hofer leading the independent, pro-EU candidate Van der Bellen by 51.9% to 48.1%, according to interior ministry data. However, in the end it all came down to the postal votes, and as BBC reports [..]”

Yes, TL2Q, it appears that ‘Team Soros’ has prevailed, victorious again. Compatriot Merkel must be delighted by the team win. Disturbing news, indeed.
[Addendum]
Oh! And I’m starting to think whoever is chief editor on RT, needs to be shot in the face with extreme prejudice [sorry, I’m not in the mood to be ‘moderate’ at the moment :/ ]
Since last night (Sunday) RT were echoing the same BS peddled by the rest of the western MSM was saying about Norbert Hofer and his party; characterizing them as “far-right” [code word for fascist/Nazi]. Because, apparently… opposing: “forced multiculturalism, globalization and mass immigration” is tantamount to being a Nazi nowadays *eye-roll*.
And that was a quote from a DM article here…
“Polls predict that Norbert Hofer will win the Austrian presidential elections – He opposes ‘forced multiculturalism, globalisation and mass immigration’ – Despite this, Freedom Party of Austria, claim to be left of US democrats [..]”

PS: Enjoy your moment Globalists! Thanks to your dodgy schemings in Austria, now we’re all just one step closer to WWIII, (which most Globalists are hell-bent to get, by hook or by crook).
Now, for their next vote-rigging trick: Expect Brexit to be a no-go, won by the slimmest of margins, of course…. /end sarc.

For me it is much more as disturbing. A blatant and aggressive forge. Just a couple of weeks ago,the Austrian Chief of Staff of the Army visited Russia for a discussion with his Russian counterpart regarding the approach on military level for the coming time. As we know, the Austrian president is also the commander in chief of the Army. What followed we know now. What will follow we don’t, but there is an immense pressure from the Empire in pushing toward war by provoking it. Soon will follow Hungary and the rest remaining countries that still resist.
@ ioan:
“For me it is much more as disturbing. A blatant and aggressive forge [etc]”
Oh! I hear you, ioan, loud and clear.
And thanks for the tip on the ‘Austrian Chief of Staff of the Army’ visiting Russia. That one escaped me – we can’t be everywhere at once, can we? That’s why we, truth seekers, have each other :)
And I’m sure you’re right, whatever it was discussed was of the uttermost importance.
“[..] What will follow we don’t, but there is an immense pressure from the Empire in pushing toward war by provoking it. Soon will follow Hungary and the rest remaining countries that still resist”
I wish I could disagree with you, for the sake of us all!
All of this smells so bad is not even funny at this point.
For weeks, months even, I’ve been monitoring comments in various news sites… a lot of people is coming to the same conclusion as I am: close elections = rigged elections (or easier to rig, if you will).
Think about it, every single election that matters/mattered were all too-close-to-call (supposedly) in the polls; Sanders vs. Clinton, Trump vs. whoever (apparently they couldn’t rig that one properly :/ ) and now we’re starting to hear about a head-to-head in the polls of Hitlery vs. Trump.
In Europe you had the polls 50/50 in Austria, plus the polls about Brexit vs. Remaniancs are also 51/49, or vice-versa, depending on the day of the week you check them. The polls for Front Nationale or the AfD are equally questionable to say the least… and let’s not forget the now infamous Greek OXI-vote (No to Austerity) was also supposed to be close to 50/50 on the polls, just as the Dutch FU vote to Ukraine. The last two were completely ignored by the Eurocrats, same way they like to glaze-over the fact Crimea voted to rejoin Russia… No! That never happened! It was Putin invading Crimea *knocks-head-on-wall*
Not to mention, according to the ‘Stay in the EU’ camp, who benefits most from Brexit? ISIS! And of course: Putin!
All the signs point in one direction, and one direction only > WWIII and War with Russia. Despite what people say, despite how they vote, despite their protestations, riots, rallies, revolts (etc).
To ‘them’ elections are not fair unless they yield the results ‘they’ want.
It’s about time people wake up to this fact, instead of putting all their eggs in a rigged-election basket, only to get disappointed at the end when the obvious, fraudulent outcome hits them in the face.

“The fear instinct is rooted in the instinct of self-preservation which is at the foundation of all psychopathic cases.”
(i) do you consider these Globalists as psychopaths?
I don’t know about TL2Q, but I certainly consider people who so fear losing any measure of their wealth and power that they would rather kill millions or even billions to avert such an outcome, in order to cling to the loveless, fear-ridden evil of control before chancing anything remotely like a more level playing field, psychopathic in the extreme.
Everything about them indicates fear and the pathological need to control, utilizing fear.
Resistance to such psychopathy requires a will to defeat fear in those that they control through fear.
Courage and love = the will to take on this psychopathy and not bend to it, thereby freeing others from it.
This is why they consciously attack these qualities in other human beings, and especially the symbols of such qualities, as the quote you provided indicates. If you haven’t been visiting the Cafe very long, it has been discussed a lot here in the last few months.
I don’t know any clearer example that I can point to than my own first post on this, here, when I first clearly grasped the essence of the problem:
/is-there-a-crack-in-the-dam-holding-back-the-truth-on-syria/comment-page-1/#comment-213733
Although I do recognize that this esoteric view of the inside of their minds, which they themselves revealed so clearly on 911, is beyond the grasp or understanding of very many people, I have no doubt that it is the deepest, clearest, most revealing glimpse into the the dark, frightened corners of their psychopathic, souls. Ergo, I keep coming back to this theme, from slightly different angles in order to illustrate the symbolic language they use to try to impose their psychopathy on the entire planet.
“I don’t know about TL2Q, but I certainly consider people who so fear losing any measure of their wealth and power that they would rather kill millions or even billions to avert such an outcome, in order to cling to the loveless, fear-ridden evil of control before chancing anything remotely like a more level playing field, psychopathic in the extreme.,”
You are referring to (i) the lack of empathy characteristic of psychopathy and (ii) assuming there is a conflict between white wizards and black wizards.
In summary, your comment is totally unrelated to the query.
Why should they fear losing their wealth & power when most of the world (including yourself) thinks it’s ok, for example, for them to treat the Apple factory workers in China like scum with the excuse that the end justifies the means.
What i’d like to attack is the Capitalist quality in you (& your friends in China, Russia, US, Brazil, UK, Germany, France…etc etc).
Keep counting.
some updated info on psycopaths…M. Soloman from 1916 seems to me quiet outdated…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDRTS_ol72E
I am sure they are about 100% in the 1%…
shocking enough
“I am sure they are about 100% in the 1%…
shocking enough”
Not really shocking – most on this blog support them.
Sololman is bang up-to-date & WWW3 will never happen.
@ Anon:
“Not really shocking – most on this blog support them.”
Is that supposed to be some quite-not-so-clever ‘reverse psychology’ or something?
I’m pretty sure no-one in here supports the 1%, nor psychopaths in general.
About your question, and I really don’t know (nor care, quite frankly) where are you going with it; it’s pretty much well documented that psychopaths don’t experience fear, hence; they’re far more likely to take risks and not think about the consequences even if it endangers them personally. It is one of their hallmarks. Therefore this statement: “The fear instinct is rooted in the instinct of self-preservation which is at the foundation of all psychopathic cases.” is nonsense. Self-preservation is a healthy survival mechanism [just like the involuntary reflex of recoiling when experiencing pain, same thing], there’s nothing healthy about psychopathy, they are indeed freaks of nature, defective, not to mention dangerous, and should be treated as such.
So, do I consider these Globalists as psychopaths? Yes, I do. Their deeds speak for themselves, and just as Vercia V already told you; the 1% do have a disproportionate amount of certifiable psychopaths in their ranks. Not a big shocker since lots of studies proved they do tend to flock to positions of wealth and/or power.
“Sololman [sic] is bang up-to-date [..]”
Yeah.. I’m sure your hero, Mr. Soloman, (a name you can’t even spell properly – not to mention he was an MD [Doctor of Medicine – not a Psychologist, not a Psychiatrist, not a Neuroscientist… a Physician, FFS!] ) is the ultimate authority in Psychopathy, and had it all figured out from way back in 1916.
Sure :/

“If Russia or China falter, the evil ensconced in Washington will rule the world. America will be the Anti-Christ. The predictions of the Christian Evangelicals preaching “end times” will take on new meaning.
Russia is vulnerable to becoming a vassal state of Washington. Despite a legion of betrayals by Washington, the Russian government has just proposed a joint US/Russia cooperation against terrorists.
One wonders if the Russian government will ever learn from experience. Has Washington cooperated with the agreement concerning Ukraine? Of course not. Has Washington cooperated in the investigation of MH-17? Of course not. Has Washington ceased its propaganda about a Russian invasion of Crimea and Ukraine? Of course not. Has Washington kept any agreement previous US governments made with Russia? Of course not.
So why does the Russian government think Washington would keep any agreement about a joint effort against terrorism?”
@ Bianca
That is the puzzle history will reveal when the dust settles, if there will be anything left at all.
Sometimes the only sane conclusion is that it’s all smoke and mirrors and the global players are pretending to be at loggerheads but in fact colluding to keep all sheeple in the pen.
Who says that “The Russian government thinks that Washington would keep any agreement about a joint effort against terrorism?” ???
I wouldn’t say that.
I would say that there is a public invitation to cooperate with an astute realization that the offer will be no doubt be spurned and betrayed, and that that betrayal will more readily expose the actual motives of the current cabal running things in Washington, thus enabling more people everywhere to see clearly, so that disassociation from such dishonesty and evil will be facilitated, including within the US military and the US population which contributes its sons and daughters to that military.
The first requirement is to free your mind from the idea that freedom is not possible and that dominators will always dominate because they are so smart. They aren’t that smart. They themselves are enslaved by their own fear. The problem is that the intensity of their fear UNIFIES them around Empire more than the less intense fear and more dispersed courage of the resistance to empire and support of multi-polarity unifies it..
“If Russia or China falter, the evil ensconced in Washington will rule the world.”
If Washington falters, the evil ensconced in Russia & China will rule the world http://www.chinalaborwatch.org/report/109
“So why does the Russian government think Washington would keep any agreement about a joint effort against terrorism?””
because – they are all part of the same team?

The Polish authorities are going for two months to offer schools training program for the study of the role of NATO in the country. On it informs edition of The the Financial the Times.
“In the next two months, the government plans to offer Polish school elective subject – the lessons up to four hours a week devoted to the most powerful military alliance in the world and the benefits that accrue to Poland from membership in it”, – stated in the article.
Shortly before the biennial, the NATO summit to be held July 8-9 in Warsaw, these plans were at the center of efforts of the Polish government to convey to the domestic audience, as well as to allies and enemies, what importance it attaches to NATO as a guarantor of its independence and – increasingly – as the most important international mediators.”

UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon’s Syria policy is under growing pressure amid rumors MPs may quietly favor a decentralized system of government in Syria which would weaken President Bashar Assad, but leave him in power.
Fallon is expected to give his first full assessment of the situation in Syria to the House of Commons on Tuesday.
It will be his most far-reaching speech on the topic since British MPs voted to extend bombing from Iraq into Syria in early December 2015.The statement comes as reports circulate that, contrary to the British government’s official position, MPs are in favor of a cantonment system in Syria that would trim Assad’s power, but leave him in place.
It is thought ministers now believe such a system is the only hope for long-term stability in the war-torn country.
Fallon is also expected to announce that despite much clamor about British airpower capabilities at the time of the vote, a mere 42 bombs have been dropped on Syria.
Fallon may face a challenging two days. He is also due to appear before the Defence Select Committee on Wednesday to give further evidence on progress in the war.
“The UK must punch above its weight in diplomatic negotiations and stop [Russian President Vladimir] Putin dictating the state of play in the conflict,” Liberal Democrat foreign affairs spokesman Tom Brake told the Guardian on Tuesday
Despite concerns over Assad’s future, the UK’s military focus remains on the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) for now.
“Closing in on Daesh [IS] in Raqqa [the group’s de-facto capital in Syria] and on Mosul in Iraq will be a landmark event in the fight against Daesh,” Brake said of the coalition strategy.
However, he warned “the international coalition must have a coherent plan” to avoid a humanitarian disasters like “Stalingrad” in the face of desperate IS attempt to “hold on to their warped self-declared caliphate.”
What he really is saying, IMO Uk and west will do everything to prevent Putin “establishing his Rus caliphate’ so to speak as west percieves it surely.
I am waiting for the next cafe to open but this one just won’t quit; the juices still flow where still waters run deep.
Psychopathy is on my mind. Big time. Bro Anon said it’s useful to have a little bit of it in me. My fear is that I have more than a little bit.
I was born in 39. My son was born in 93. I grew up on 393 North 3rd Street. My social security number begins with 393 with another 3 and two 9’s. And I think there’s more I can’t recall.
I can’t understand the dynamics of nine. Because I don’t want to?
I begin my system of thought with numbers that go to seven, the infinity virgin number.
Am I cut off from my feelings, like psychopathy suggests?
I read Eimar’s post about his/her cat’s death. I am sympathetic but not as others apparently are. I feel sorry for people who are seduced into this kind of pet love in the first place. Does that make me a psycho? Probably, for many.
I think I might buy the book brought to my attention here on psychopathic diseases but will that help, or just drive it deeper? I believe that love is the only possible cure but that requires a whole lot of remedial education and gut-wrenching change, a withdrawal that makes narcotic addiction look like a picnic in the park. Am I up to it? No. But perhaps love is. She’sus said “just say the word and you are healed.” He didn’t say the word then but his whole life was the word of love.
My intuition tells me I can only be healed within a loving community that is willing to go all the way. “Time will tell who has won and who has fell, and who’s been left behind, when you go your way and I go mine.”
I was surprised that Bro Anon first started blogging in Feb; did I get that right? That first post he alluded to is a shot in the dark over the bow of my ship. The warning lights and SOS’s put me on alert. I need to go back to that beginning.
I’ll say one thing about this cafe: it’s subversive and revolutionary under that gentle cover. Stop the war, indeed. That in itself is a declaration of war. “Tough sons of bitches from the old religious.” Spetsnaz double agents with angel wings.
I wish I could talk straight. Dennis comes from Dionysus, the Menace drunk on wine, women and song. I married Apollo in the feminine Apolonia. You know, the one that Michael loved and saw her blown to smithereens in the Godfather. Tears of rage; tears of grief; I can’t get no relief.
Like I said, I’m just biding my time until the next cafe opens. I also have other things to do but I can’t get over loving you. I guess like Michael, I got hit by a thunderbolt. Deeply repressed of course. Will the world or I blow first? I don’t know if I have what it takes. Sometimes the bottom just drops out; no energy, no motivation, no nothing. I don’t know. The only thing I can do is to do what the Man said: say the word, which doesn’t have much to do with knowing anyway.
Time to have my breakfast of fruit. I’ll play Eve and pluck it off a tree, give some to Adam and await the wrath of God. If I were a real man, unlike Adam the also ran, I’d stand up to God and defend Eve. “I used to care but things have changed; I’m all boxed in and out of range.”
I need some True Care. What’s in that bottle on the table with the lonesome lady and her suited laddie? I don’t want no wine. “I need a shot of love.”
