RT has a small story about the Swiss finding that “someone” bugged the Iran nuclear talks. They took the “easy” why out and dropped the investigation. Saying they couldn’t prove “who”. But Russia had reported earlier that the computer bugs were the same as used by Israel. So I think we can figure that one out ourselves,without a lot of effort.

On other hand RT call them “demonstrators” and that they do it because the Russian war involvement in Syria. First of all RT is wrong, they are not demonstrators and secondly they don’t do it because of the Russian involvement,. Why they do not do it in front of Israeli, Turkish, American, etc embassies?
Russia’s embassy in London has sent a letter to the UK Foreign Office to complain about demonstrators ( sic! ) who dumped around 800 mannequin limbs outside the building in protest of Russia’s actions in Syria.
It is reported that the protesters were members of Syria Campaign and Syria Solidarity, UK groups that say the mannequins are symbolic of Russia’s campaign in Syria ( sic!) .

But even more important was that the British police did nothing to stop them from harassing the Embassy of a sovereign state that they have diplomatic relations with. So far over the last few years. I’ve had to replace several herds of camels, since straws keep breaking their backs. In my opinion Russia has been “far” too diplomatic in dealing with those thugs. Its time for a change in behavior. Also it seems to me that Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the LDP have been underutilized lately. A good idea would be to allow him to take the lead in dealing with the Western “pardners”. Such as his calling for the withdrawal of police guards around those “terrorist sponsoring Embassies”. And calling himself, for patriotic Russians to voice their “displeasure” at those Embassies. As was intelligently said long ago by some Russian officials to Westerners, “if you think dealing with Putin is a problem for you.Try dealing with Zhirinovsky instead”. So far, the West and their stooges have had a “free go” at demonizing Russia. That needs to stop, and stop soon.
It looks like some Russians agree with my thinking on that subject. RT is reporting on a crowd of 500 Russian protesters at the British Embassy in Moscow. With signs saying “Hands off our diplomats” and “England is War”,etc,etc. One interesting fact about the protests in Moscow is those signs are “handwritten”,hence,”spontaneous” . As opposed to when Western “crowds” (12 people I believe was reported in London) gather.Their signs are usually “commercially printed”. I wonder “where” the money comes from ,for tiny protest groups to have expensive signs pre-printed for them. Unlike in London as well, the Russian police was there to protect the Embassy.

Uncle Bob issued an alert at the end of the last café concerning Brexit.
I wish I was wrong when most people were celebrating the Exit vote and I threw a spanner in the works and said that under the British (unwritten) constitution referendums have to legal validity and only parliament had the power to decide that question. Mind you, it is a basic legal principle and I was amazed that most politicians and commentators were ignorant of it. On the other hand, I’m quite sure Cameron had received legal advice about the questionable legal status of the referendum yet proceeded with it to trick the people into believing they had the right to choose anything of importance in their lives.
Quite likely the government is going to appeal against the High Court decision to the Supreme Court which is more “political active” and likely to follow the government line. Another, and more direct, alternative is to go to Westminster where the majority of both Labour and Tories are against Brexit.
My guess – and I hope I’m wrong – is that there will an appeal because it is going to take some time and at the end of the day people will have forgotten about the referendum and the euphoria of leaving the EU trap.
Good opportunity to get rid of House of Lords methinks who are seemingly opposed to Brexit methinks.

That, all that, changed for the worse. And the profits gained by individual persons have taken the place of national loyalties in our elites and their minions. It’s one thing when you import products or resources you don’t (or can’t easily make) from others. And quite another when you harm your country and its citizens to make an “extra buck” by importing outside products that cost your population their jobs. And that is where a “government” is “supposed” to step in and prevent that. Along with tariffs there are many other measures that could be taken. Only allowing companies producing their products (or most of them) inside the US to claim benefits (tax and legal protections) as US corporations. Outlawing the off-shoring of profits. Taxing monies earned abroad at the same rate as inside the US. And giving “no” tax benefits for taxes paid abroad. If it cost the same to import a product as it does to product it here. And if there is no gain from tax write offs from producing overseas. Then corporations will not ship US jobs out of the country.

to have first and foremost a real internal war. Let’s just walk through it.
Both candidates have extremely large disapproval ratings. If Clinton wins, you’re going to
have the military, the enforcement, the intelligence bureaucracies view as someone who takes
classified information, and their political appointees will use that information for their own

My question is: Can Clinton get the machinery to even act, other than obviously the neocons
having influence in certain places and obviously there is a whole installation of private
defense contractors and mercenaries who I’m sure would be willing to act along the neocon
lines?
The question is not just what the policy will be, but can the policy even be implemented? I
think you’re talking about massive – at least in the media and from an economic warfare
standpoint – civil war inside the country.
Saker: Possibly, but I’m not sure. The neocons completely control the media and Congress.
So for a popular uprising or civil protest or sabotage or something, you need to have
something triggering it. It’s usually an informational element.
In the good old days before the internet, when you did a military coup, the first thing you
took over after the government palace was the local TV station. That’s how important
information is. It’s still important today, but is there enough of a blogosphere and internet to
somehow coordinate or trigger a reaction? I’m not so sure. The American public is extremely
passive. People hate what is happening, but they don’t see an alternative.
People inside the bureaucracy – how could they possibly react or sabotage? I don’t know.
The neocons have a pretty strong grip on power.
C. Austin Fitts: Right. I’m not saying that they would go to the streets; I’m saying that they
have a way of just requiring everything to be by the rulebook. So when the Washington
bureaucracy decides everything has to be impeccable according to the rulebook, everything
slows down by 90%. It’s unbelievable.

Saker: They have people everywhere at every single level who are loyal to each other, and
they will keep an eye on their colleagues. If needed, they will fire more people. That is what

Saker: Maybe I’m too pessimistic.
C. Austin Fitts: I think there are a variety of different issues. One has to do with the
Federal bureaucracy, and the other has to do with the state bureaucracies and how they
respond to the Federal bureaucracy doing something.
Remember: The debt capacity is pretty much used up. You can just keep printing paper, but
we’ve been doing that for quite some time. The financial ramifications of the neocons going
wild are much more extreme today than they were, and that is going to be important to the
states.
Saker: When I was in college in the US in the late 1980’s and the early 1990’s, we gathered a
group of some graduate students – all specialized in national security affairs. We had a
debate on what could bring down the established political system – the regime, so to speak –
in the United States. We all agreed that it would be an external factor. Internally the system is
so good at handling dissent or disagreement or information on everything else that we didn’t
see any circumstance in which change would come from within. Our conclusion was that it
would be either an economic or a military shock from the outside.
I still tend to believe that. I think it would take a collapse of the dollar or a sunken American
aircraft carrier to get a massive wake-up call with tremors inside the country. And even that
would be hard because there is always the ability to circle the wagons around the flag and do
what happened after 9/11. It’s a very tough proposition.
C. Austin Fitts: So let’s say that Trump wins. I agree with you that the Trump faction is
much more inclined to preserve the United States at the cost of the empire. I would say that
many in that group don’t believe the empire could ever work; it’s just not feasible.
So they win, and you’re still going to have enormous anger and disagreement because
Trump’s disapproval ratings are very high. Both candidates have extremely high disapproval
ratings. That means that when they get in, it’s very hard to implement any kind of policy that
requires action.
Saker: Yes, but Trump’s disapproval rating is based on things that he can easily prove. It’s
not that I’m a Trump supporter; I’m not. But I think, pragmatically, he is accused of being
unstable and will start a war. Well, he won’t. His anti-Muslim rhetoric will run him into legal
difficulties anyway. Mexico is not going to be a major problem.
Really, if you predict an apocalypse when Trump comes to power, I think his negative ratings
might suddenly go down – particularly if Trump is smart and does embark on a number of
reforms, which the people would approve of.
Austin Fitts: Here is the apocalypse: It is going to happen. You have a whole world of
people –a big world and an expensive world of people – whose job has been to yaketyyakety-yak
and justify a whole bunch of things for the unipolar vision. That’s a big group. I
wrote about the African-American elites who surround Clinton.
All of those people – that whole gravy train – are going to get
shut down fast. For those people, it is an apocalypse.

I can not, man, it´s a simple case of WYSIWYG, you, or isabella, may call it Yandex, and even recommend it, but when you try a search by dowloading this browser you are redirected to, wait!, Google. Not to mention that immediatelly, with that browser, you obtain, without having asked for, almost all its franchises as bookmarks behind the search bar, Twitter, Wikipedia, Youtube, do not remember more, but there were more….
The paths of those wanting to control everything are unescrutable

In a way, yes. But East and west are different in culture. The east considers community first, the west considers individual first.
In east, we will say if something good happened to a individual, it is because of our community give us a chance, will play down the importance of individual (at least the understanding I have), the west is opposite.
Of cause it is paradox too, especially to think there are so many times Confucius or Chinese culture teach people not to show you are better than others, or not to be aggressive, but looking at reality, the the success of China is any thing but not aggressive, or mediocre.
So call me some one very confused about my own culture. Some day I will get to bottom of it, or better understanding of what is going on.
Maybe we have combination of east and west going on to turbo charge the modern youth. They are not very traditional, but more individualized like the western culture. Or maybe the government are more westernized with measures to promote individual creativity.

I danced that prayer with Sufis who translated it from the Aramaic and it was totally different from the way one first encounters it in English which is Usually King James and infused with Protestantism to the max.
It was an entirely different prayer done in an entirely different way ( we breathed it and danced it) so that I do not even connect the two any more because experience-wise they are entirely different.

You think about it, if you were able to get rid of all the “baby boomers” at once, whith the actual brainwashing education system and fascist elites in charge, how long it would takes them to achieve that the people could accept a real fascist state more or less voluntarily?

So, I accept it, I am one of them who is writing poems, I’m a troll in that way. I also speak romanian and hungarian. The poetry is not for the minds and souls who cannot understand it, as the talks about the soul and life related to God. His wife Molly was a fighter early on (seventies and most of the 80’s) and then turned. Under more pressure than most readers here have ever experienced, I would wager….., that DOES happen!

I considered the ideas that Ken printed up to be vital. They included contributions by individuals that are no longer associates of present members, who many here know, such as F William Engdahl, Nancy Bradeen Spannaus (Editor of the New Federalist, in the 70s called New Solidarity) and Webster Tarpley, among others……… I put my money where my mouth is and backed his printing company with an investment of $25,000, as did many other supporters.

When I saw that word, it is exactly what I saw, with a slight difference as the word “do” also means “function, action”, hence “caca doing”.

I fully subscribe to your sentiments, which are an indictment against the modern techniques of applied psychology to impose herd behaviour, be it social control or salesmanship. Come to think of it, there is very little of positive value or ethical about psychology and its misuse is pathological as instrument of torture as in Guantanamo. I remember the anti-psychiatry crowd (Laing, Cooper, etc.) inveighing against their discipline as the creator of madness and the same could be said of psychology. After all its findings are common sense observations and many generations of human beings managed to live without it although it was at work in the shadows as astrology, witchcraft and black magic.
I studied psychology at university – mainly because it was easy, and I was lazy.
Two things always amused me about it as a discipline – the constant inveighing against common sense and the equally constant lamenting about individual differences.
The former I understood as a threat to the status (and jobs) of psychologists, the second as a problem of validity/reliability of research, and the limited application of its ‘findings’ to humanity in general.
They say psychological research (Anglo-American) says more about psychology students than it does about human nature.

If modern people presume that they are of such a superior intellect that they can dismiss all such notions as foolish superstition, their superiority is in no way evident in the current state of the world. It is therefor worthwhile to consider the wisdom of the ages which attest to a perennial struggle between creative forces and destructive forces.
To live in a world of arbitrary opinion could be a definition of hell. I think their is good reason to believe this philosophy is part of the general psychological warfare on the human soul- to convince people that there is no eternal ground of our being. Do you have a link (or links) to what a particular deity (or deities) have revealed that you actually subscribe to so I can perform a little due diligence with regards the basis of your faith?
Without, for example, attempting a rigorous definition of evil, do you consider (and from which Holy writ or otherwise) the deity punishes it’s creation for either disobedience against it’s own “law” or for “harm” the created cause one against the other?

Yesterday I got a kick on Route 66, namely Main St Barstow. I gave a lift to a black lady that escaped the crack (she was on it, thanks to George H. W. Bush’s Contra policy of “fighting Communism” in Central America….) epidemic in Compton 30 years ago. I know her.
It seems that Main St has stood still for more like 50-60 years, with the same motels, in a time warp right out of The Twilight Zone. But there were new murals, freshly painted! One said,

She’s very difficult to understand, but I heard a contemptuous stream of scatological epithets starting with “SH” followed by some threat that she might “whup” my posterior, as she pointed to a location of the latest shooting in town, right there on the iconic US Route 66, the main east/west route taken by millions of motorists through Illinois, Missouri SE corner of Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Southern California until the 1960’s.
Aspiring actors and actresses would have probably taken that route to Hollywood to either make it or more likely, break it for the first half century of general use of the automobile. When the US election circus is reaching its climax of foul absurdity, it may be pertinent to rethink our vision for authentic democratic freedom and autonomy as suggested recently by some commenters, in particular Eathrise’s research work on a practical and theoretical model for ecological movements at grassroots level and urban communities.
I have done a fair bit myself, coming from the social sciences field in theory and work. But that was a while back (late 1970s, early 1980s) and I have no clue about new developments in this area but, from my observations of what is going on the in the world today, studies on democracy must be a dead–end and in practice a dead letter.
I avoid talking politics but recently I had a chat with a friend I rarely see (a high-school teacher) and I was astounded by his culturally ossified mind when he said categorically that “we (Western capitalist) have the best democracy in world history” and similar banalities, such as, ” it is the best form of government, no alternative to elect members of parliament “, etc.
I only pointed out to him that about two and half centuries ago a Greek fellow came up with an authoritarian model of governance (Plato’s Guardians) superior to “our best democracy in the world” and it was not ostensibly democratic, in fact it was in opposition to a grass-roots democracy (Athens), if you excluded slaves, women, etc.
Although Plato didn’t say so in plain language, the implication was that the best ruler is the reluctant ruler, somebody who doesn’t want to rule. Maybe he was playing Hegelian dialectics before it was invented!
Sudden I light flashed in may brain. Eureka! So, I started pointing out to him that the only popular participation in democracy is to elect a representative in a list prepared by some body who have the power to select the candidates, the same procedure used in the “Soviet dictatorship” (in fact, in the old SU anyone could be selected, even non-party members), and that the candidates are all party-endorsed professional politicians (independents are very rare and short-term).
Since the people have very little or no say in the selection of their representatives (remember the problems Corbyn is having with the party machine) I proposed that that, like Plato, the candidates be chosen by the people and ban the parties (source of all evils of democracy) altogether. He objected to that because of the practical difficulty of people selecting their representatives to which I replied that the Soviets had a neat system of local ballots to gradually eliminate the low-vote candidates until they get the required quota.
As an alternative (and that was the brightest part of the flash!) we could do away with the elections and resort to selection by lots where all citizens within a constituency would be candidates, the same process using to form juries in judicial trials. If ordinary citizens are mature enough to decide on guilt or innocence of a person (the highest form of authority I can think of), why can’t they be the people’s representative in parliament.
This is only a small step towards better democracy but easy to implement as a gradual process to remove corruption in our rotten political system and stop the periodic puppet circus of political clowns.
I thought my proposal was an original idea (and it was truly, the seed being planted by Plato though) but since then I found out that there are people out there who are working on it. Search “sortition”.

Have you ever tried to compute the amounts of money that would be required to align so many diverse people in the US and EU political/economical/media Elite circles?
They crawled to fame and made a living out of backstabbing each other but they are not cheap.
The big picture of the Podesta emails, the Judicial Watch unearthed documents and other various undisputed sources is: Some individuals, Foreign States or both have earmarked and spent multi-billions (billions, not millions) of US dollars over 2 decades to “gang-grenate” the top level of a LOT of organizations. The mid-tier of the organizations/countries targeted did not require that much money, as they owed their job to the top level, so they got easily controlled.
We are not talking the usual military-industrial complex bribing your senator, congressman or newspaper. There is clear and overwhelming evidence that a gigantic pool of money was created and invested according to a blueprint. This money could not have been created out of thin air: It had to be real, at least for some portion, the remainder could have been leveraged in some clever slush funds operations. See 1MDB (Malaysia) as an example.
Elementary logic dictates that this pool of money could only be funded by actors who:
1) Have unfettered access to regular and abundant sources of money
2) Have full discretionary control on the way the money is spent
3) Are not targeted by any type of international investigation or quoted in any blacklist
4) Have full control over any media that could target them
5) Can freely move large amounts of money in/out countries
6) Can have agents freely moving accros the globe without encumbrance such as visas…
7) Are small in numbers, so as to be able to “silence” dissidents
8) Are hiding in plain sight (The purloined letter by Ed.Allan Poe)
9) Are bound by a common ideology
10) Are currently being fought by an equally formidable force in an epic battle to restore some equilibrium in the system
Clearly, only countries or extremely wealthy organizations could fit the profile. Western countries are broke.
We can discount rich countries of Africa as they are engulfed in tribal wars and do not check on points 3,5,6,7. Likewise, China does not fit the profile.
The only remaining countries fitting the profile are actually less than 5: Kuwait, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar. These State actors have the means, the will and actually succeeded in purchasing the elites of US and EU. They are the pillars of a new empire, which is the true new Califat, united by an ideology abundantly documented and supported by more than 1.5 billions inhabitants of the planet.
The root cause of all this lies in the incredibly naive and stupid ways US and EU have painted themselves in a corner by negating the role of money in politics. By pretending that politicians should be living on stipends amounting to 5% of what CEO of banks and large companies make, they shot repeatedly shot themselves in the foot. While witnessing the failures of communism, they have applied its failed recipes to themselves.

Simple answer: I have absolutely no knowledge or experience of the suspect #1, even if I fully understand who you are talking about. I might be old fashioned but I tend to err on the side of what I have personal experience and knowledge.
I am not at all trying to preclude the involvement of other actors, State actors and permeating ideologies.
Actually, being much more pragmatic than political, I was merely trying to put in perspective the Herculean tasks of dealing with the current status of world affairs vs dealing with the root cause, which seams a much more limited and manageable operation.
As a comparison, how do we usually deal with corruption cases? SOP calls for tackling the corrupt and its corruptor, then shooting the messenger.
Here, since we are talking States affairs and human lives, I was merely suggesting a different course of action:
1) Dealing a serious blow to the corruptors, taking advantage of their intrinsic weaknesses (mostly small size and national cohesion). Basically disabling them by means that their immense wealth could not possibly shield them from, without harming their own population;
2) Getting rid of the corrupted, mainly by exposing them, letting natural rejection processes (protests, elections, petitions, political pressure, independent media…) take care of the matter;
3) Radically changing the way politicians get financed (private sector inspired policies) and trying to validate -at last- a Proof of Concept for Democracy (has not been tried anywhere yet);
4) Keep the messenger harmless. It might very well be the hardest task at hand when you are dealing with resourceful vindicative people which have demonstrated that they would almost stop at nothing.

How To Identify Trolls And Forum Spies
(Cryptome) Cointelpro Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum. There are several techniques for the control and manipulation of a internet forum no matter what, or who is on it. We will go over each technique and demonstrate that only a minimal number of operatives can be used to eventually and effectively gain a control of an ‘uncontrolled forum.’
Technique #1 – ‘Forum Sliding’
If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum – it can be quickly removed from public view by ‘forum sliding.’ In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to ‘age.’ Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a ‘forum slide.’ The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public. To trigger a ‘forum slide’ and ‘flush’ the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then ‘replying’ to prepositined postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting ‘slides’ down the front page, and quickly out of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.
Technique #2 – ‘Consensus Cracking’
A second highly effective technique (which you can see in operation all the time at http://www.abovetopsecret.com) is ‘consensus cracking.’ To develop a consensus crack, the following technique is used. Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made – but the critical point is that it has a very weak premise without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is Imperative that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger ‘evidence’ or disinformation in your favour is slowly ‘seeded in.’ Thus the uninformed reader will most like develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then ‘abort’ the consensus cracking by initiating a ‘forum slide.’
Technique #3 – ‘Topic Dilution’
Topic dilution is not only effective in forum sliding it is also very useful in keeping the forum readers on unrelated and non-productive issues. This is a critical and useful technique to cause a ‘Resource Burn.’ By implementing continual and non-related postings that distract and disrupt (trolling ) the forum readers they are more effectively stopped from anything of any real productivity. If the intensity of gradual dilution is intense enough, the readers will effectively stop researching and simply slip into a ‘gossip mode.’ In this state they can be more easily misdirected away from facts towards uninformed conjecture and opinion. The less informed they are the more effective and easy it becomes to control the entire group in the direction that you would desire the group to go in. It must be stressed that a proper assessment of the psychological capabilities and levels of education is first determined of the group to determine at what level to ‘drive in the wedge.’ By being too far off topic too quickly it may trigger censorship by a forum moderator.
Technique #4 – ‘Information Collection’
Information collection is also a very effective method to determine the psychological level of the forum members, and to gather intelligence that can be used against them. In this technique in a light and positive environment a ‘show you mine so me yours’ posting is initiated. From the number of replies and the answers that are provided much statistical information can be gathered. An example is to post your ‘favourite weapon’ and then encourage other members of the forum to showcase what they have. In this matter it can be determined by reverse proration what percentage of the forum community owns a firearm, and or a illegal weapon. This same method can be used by posing as one of the form members and posting your favourite ‘technique of operation.’ From the replies various methods that the group utilizes can be studied and effective methods developed to stop them from their activities.
Technique #5 – ‘Anger Trolling’
Statistically, there is always a percentage of the forum posters who are more inclined to violence. In order to determine who these individuals are, it is a requirement to present a image to the forum to deliberately incite a strong psychological reaction. From this the most violent in the group can be effectively singled out for reverse IP location and possibly local enforcement tracking. To accomplish this only requires posting a link to a video depicting a local police officer massively abusing his power against a very innocent individual. Statistically of the million or so police officers in America there is always one or two being caught abusing there powers and the taping of the activity can be then used for intelligence gathering purposes – without the requirement to ‘stage’ a fake abuse video. This method is extremely effective, and the more so the more abusive the video can be made to look. Sometimes it is useful to ‘lead’ the forum by replying to your own posting with your own statement of violent intent, and that you ‘do not care what the authorities think!!’ inflammation. By doing this and showing no fear it may be more effective in getting the more silent and self-disciplined violent intent members of the forum to slip and post their real intentions. This can be used later in a court of law during prosecution.
Technique #6 – ‘Gaining Full Con-trol’
It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position. Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings – and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public. This is the ‘ultimate victory’ as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms. Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline. By this method the forum can be quickly killed. However it is not always in the interest to kill a forum as it can be converted into a ‘honey pot’ gathering center to collect and misdirect newcomers and from this point be completely used for your control for your agenda purposes.
Conclusion
Remember these techniques are only effective if the forum participants do not know about them. Once they are aware of these techniques the operation can completely fail, and the forum can become uncontrolled. At this point other avenues must be considered such as initiating a false legal precidence to simply have the forum shut down and taken offline. This is not desirable as it then leaves the enforcement agencies unable to track the percentage of those in the population who always resist attempts for control against them. Many other techniques can be utilized and developed by the individual and as you develop further techniques of infiltration and control it is imperative to share then with HQ.

Trolls….on this subject. Trolls usually do not function out of the poetic side of the brain or reside much in the heart. This site has the least trolling ever and the moderators are extremely competent. Disagreement or conflict is not trolling. Refusing to see anything of merit in another’s point of view is not trolling—being pig headed and passionate is not trolling.
Attempting to destroy or monopolize discussion or divert it or overload it is trolling. And more subtly, so is lowering the tone of the discussion but that is a hard one to call.
I had lots of experience with Israeli based trolling when I was on Yahoo political commentary section especially around the Maura Mavi incident.

It appears the British have abrogated their duties to defend foreign Embassies in London once again. Except in this case its more serious than the protests at the Russian Embassy in London (so far). Pro-Kurdish protesters were allowed to pelt the Turkish Embassy in London with eggs. And since they broke at least one window of the Embassy,it must have been with more than eggs (unless British eggs are harder than most eggs).I won’t comment on the reasons for the protest. I share your love and appreciation for the worker! My husband and I are farmers and teachers. While most of my work was in the classroom with children, my husband (engineer turned farmer) has worked the land his whole life. We have done various farming projects and never owned the land we have worked. My husband, though manager, is most often seen, and most happy with hoe in hand. We have not found good company among the upper management- our camaraderie is with those who work on their feet with their hands. I am ever amazed and humbled at the beauty of their heartfelt connection to their work and to one another. I feel so blessed to both have a living connection to nature, and to these beautiful Mexican people.

There has been a sustained discussion on the nature of evil, perhaps part of a plan to derail commenters from the real issues confronting Russia and the sane part of the world. Be it as it may, evilism is part of the struggle because evil and aggression are intertwined as the enemy we fight. It can be useful to provide insights into, for instances, safety rules and more efficient teaching methods, but an experienced teacher can dispense easily with psychological tricks.
Where psychology works well is in the area of behaviour modification. Mind you this has been practised since humans came down from the trees and even most living organisms, especially the sentient ones, also practise it. So there is no science behind it, just organisms reacting to and being in their habitats. The trickery of the charlatan, star gazer, mind and palm reader, snake oil salesman, seers, prophets, tales of oracles and political quackery are all examples of applied psychology, and so is torture.
As you can see, psychology is used mostly for nefarious purposes, namely controlling mind and behaviour, and that is why its main use is in advertising, propaganda and marketing as well as training troops, death squads and police forces how to be nasty and less human, in other words, to condition the individual to be evil because evilism has to be taught to supress one’s humanity. Given the appropriate training or situational stimuli, any person can be conditioned to become evil. Maybe some exceptionally and morally resilient people can resist but many experiences of war and atrocities prove that normal people, given certain conditions, can do things unimaginably cruel. My thesis is that we all carry the capacity for evil as well as good and supreme altruism, and a murderer may be as willing to rescue a person from a house on fire as a fireman.
The alternative school of thought regarding human propensity for cruelty is based on a belief according to which some individuals have a predisposition for evildoing (dispositionism) following the principles established by phrenology, the science of reading head bumps made popular by Queen Victoria when she asked the notorious phrenologist George Combe (who was a lawyer but found reading heads more profitable) to read the heads of her children and they all got high marks for philoprogenitiveness, secretiveness, mirthfulness and acquisitiveness, the eminent qualities for rulership.
Phrenology became highly discredited when every educated scoundrel in London got a certificate of applied phrenology and started competing with the physician members of the Phrenology Society and, by the end of the 19th century, the task of proving racial superiority, personality traits and station in life was assumed by the new science of psychology under the guise of dispositionism. To put the last nail on the coffin of dispositionism, Milgram, Zimbardo and others performed some experiments in the 1960s which shook the conventional wisdom of the period and showed that, like the Nazis, Zionists or the Yanks, almost anyone is a candidate for savagery. They put uniformed students armed with batons in charge of a mock prison with strict instructions not to mistreat the student prisoners but after six days of abuse the experiment was stopped because it became intolerably sadistic. Give a man a title, a uniform or authority and he’ll internalise the role and abuse his position. The surprising finding was that the prisoners also internalised their role and meekly accepted being abused.
A similar experiment (Milgram) revealed that people easily accept obeying orders from an authority figure to the point of causing severe electrical shocks on others for no reason other than being told to do harm. These type of experiments (now classic and basic texts in Psychology) are unlikely to be repeated in university settings in these political correct times because they consistently prove the common sense knowledge that the only demarcation line between good and evil is the material conditions (situations) in which the human agents find themselves in. If your role is that of an oppressor you’ll act that role and the converse is also true. The drone pilots who press a button to kill dozens of people are “normal” people who go home every day after the slaughter to have dinner with his family after a day’s work.
I do not agree in that everyone given a bit of power would use it to oppresse people or would behave in a bad manner. That is not true.
This is another trick of today´s elites, trying to convince us that, for example, Ukrainian Nazi battallions are formed by “normal” people like everybody else and that, given the appropiate circunstances, we all would behave the same. No man, no way, and there have been examples all over the history of mankind.
In this “tendency” of another kind of brainwashing, I include the recent and so promoted documentaries by Joshua Oppenheimer on the “Indonesian killings in 1965”, since, in what could seem to be a document which could be used to denounce the actual gang in charge there, so as to bring them to justice and inhabilite them for any govern post, the final goal is to “humanize” these butchers, so as to justity their remaining in charge, and not only, but for the future acceptation of a fascist rule all over the world.

Unfortunately, people are far too willing to delegate their responsibility to others. It seems that deciding oneself consumes more energy than many people want afford. Also many people do not want to run the risk that their own decisions run counter the majority. This social conformism is probably the main cause why so few behave rightfully, no matter what.
On the other hand, marching in line with the crowd does not remove the personal responsibility and liability from anyone. And that is correct so. People should be well aware that the crowd does not yield any legal or moral cover. Attempts of minimizing personal responsibility “because others did the same” should be rejected.

Good point. Groupthink is a very strong factor in creating herd mentality and enforce conformism, one of the reasons surveys are consistently used to promote a view or result. If a poll shows that X is in the lead to win an election, many people will be persuaded to vote for X.
The other issue relates to collective risk taking and diffusion of responsibility in groups, that is, one is more likely to indulge in reprehensible behaviour in a group because personal responsibility/guilt is “distributed” among the crowd, a common situation in jury deliberations as well as riots and revolutions.
Of course, there are cultural differences. For instance, during Nato’s bombing of Serbia it was reported that many Italian pilots dropped their bombs in the Adriatic Sea instead of Belgrade.

You may have misunderstood the main point: the material conditions of social life are the main determinant of our conscious being. For instance, they determine our belief system, moral compass, cultural identity, personality traits and intellectual life through socialisation. We are not born with our individual characteristics, they are acquired as we grow and interact with others as social beings. There is not a bump in our heads called the evil region although some anthropologists looked for them among the headhunters of Papua; the source for their gruesome practice being their belief system, not because they were wicked. For the same reason the headchoppers of the Middle East may appear irrationally barbaric but their actions are the result of broken down societies whose vulnerable members are easy prey to manipulation and indoctrination. I only have to see the agressive tone and generalized attacks I am receiving since two days ago I am commenting here again ( apart from my intervention the other day defending Motorola´s honor, so not so 24/7, as are doing you all, who stay here, of course being able as a group, some times certain ones, other times others ) to be aware that the rumors are true.
