Let me be the first then with this little piece of “insignificant” news from Ukraine.
“(ENG subs) Tensions are high at the Gorlovka(DPR)-Mayorsk(Ukraine) checkpoint. Witnesses tell how a Ukraine soldier opened fire on a civilian bus shooting 3 with 1 elderly man dying from a gunshot wound to the head.
Help us get an eye in the sky over Donetsk to increase the quality of reports.”

Living in the Surveillance State
In the last Café a commenter told a story about the hassles he had with having a getting a telephone working, which I assume to be a mobile one because he mentioned a SIM and a credit voucher, therefore a pre-paid mobile phone.
Some countries are more aggressive than others in their pursuit of controlling the citizens. While in England I observed the widespread use of CCTV cameras in public places and the uneasy feeling you are being watched all the time. Yet, I could buy a local T-Mobile SIM card, insert it in my phone and talk.
In other countries you can’t do that. You need to register, give your personal details and proof of identity. I found a revealing article from the Greens in Australia about the State intrusion into our private lives.
http://greens.org.au/magazine/national/living-surveillance-state
One understands why identification is necessary if you are entering a contract and for billing purposes, but the only explanation I can think of for pre-paid services is the State abusing its powers of social control.
Considering the different requirements for pre-paid mobile phone and internet services in in a variety of countries, say Europe and the 5-Eyes, I would suggest a brief survey among the Café community to determine the country with the most stringent snooping laws over their citizens. I will collate the results and publish a report on the findings.
From reading the link above and other info, Australia must be a contender for top spot. To get any telecommunication service the customer must be in possession of an official form of identification (passport, driver’s licence) and. I assume. the personal details must conform with the records of a central database kept for all citizens, perhaps the reason why a Café dweller has a dud mobile phone.
Your contribution would be most appreciated. No need for repeated replies on a country unless there is a mistake/error.
Thank you all.
I find that all my details are in the Australian Crimtrac data base because I am a registered firearm owner but I am not able to look at what it contains. This is the situation for all registered firearm owners. BUT it dosnt stop there. http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2016/11/australian-police-now-have-a-nationwide-facial-recognition-service/ fore everyone ultimately.
Crimtrac is ostensibly there to fight criminals across state borders.
@ Atrobileous
Thank you for the link and about Crimtrac. It seems law enforcement agencies and snoop services had amassed enormous powers and technology supposedly to fight crime and terrorism but the real intention is citizen surveillance and one should ask why. Has Australia had a terrorist attack ever? (Apart from the “legal authorities” who invaded and terrorised the Aboriginal nations for two centuries).
“(Apart from the “legal authorities” who invaded and terrorised the Aboriginal nations for two centuries)”
You can add to that the Sydney ‘siege’ and MH17
the so called Sydney seige ushered in the most recent population surveillance laws. The mad monk and crew were trying to get population surveillance laws through for some time. It is hard going when you cant even get a decent terrorist here. The police had to open fire on the hostages to get a decent dead and wounded count for public consumption..
Quite a change! Imagine the days, not too long ago, when a man could just go to a shop to buy a rifle and no-one would even ask his name! It happened to me in 1980s, George St., Sydney, when I was down in the dumps. I survived the incident and lived to tell the tale never before told.
Brazil requires a CPF number. It’s a number from federal government that any resident has.
Non residents must provide passpors.
Companies phones must be identified. The company provide a list of users.
Of course the control is weak since is Brazil.
Like we used to said here,” é para inglês ver” (to Englishman see).
This expression was create hundred years ago when England started the pressure to stop slaves trading. We created a law to show the Englishman. Back that time it was just that, words in a paper meaning nothing.
@ Zico
Thank you for your input from Brazil. I assume CPF is a tax file number, a number assigned to everyone. Would you please clarify this point: can you buy a mobile phone or internet WI-FI USB device and pay in advance (pre-pay) until your credit runs out by just giving your name and CPF number to the seller/shopkeeper? Or you must also have to register and provide proof of identification to match existing data about you held by a government agency?
Thanks also about the meaning of “para ingles ver” – just a pretence. Looks like Brazil is not going to win this competition!
Yes, it’s a tax file number.
Pay in advance here is called “pre paid” phones. You’ll still need a CPF number to register the number of the phone.
You can keep your phone number even changing the company but if you stop paying the number is cancelled.
In Italy is the same.
For buy one SIM card you must give to the seller the Tax File Number AND a personal document, like passport.
If you are a non CE citizen you must have also a official permit of residence, otherwise you can’t obtain che SIM card.
Thank you Roberto.
It seems there is a common practice in W Europe, that is, you provide an ID document and taxpayer number and you are talking. What about non-EU tourists?
So far Australia is the Top Surveillance State!
Russia has a requirement for a passport for a SIM card. In fact your passport is required for almost everything. Even when the DPS pulls you over for a traffic inspection, they require registration and insurance papers as well as driver’s licence and passport.
You still have to register your address in your passport and registration can be refused for many reasons. But all this data is not (YET) cross-referenced the way it is in the west.
@ Стивен
Thank you. Not bad at all in Russia. I thought that you would have stricter controls than the self-appointed paragons of democracy and freedom!
Steven should have mentioned that in Russian and in Russia te word ‘pasport’ is used as well for the domestic ID doc (the germ ‘Ausweis’, PA) everyone has as for the doc nėded for int’l travel. If you are stopped for drunk driving not having the travei doc will not save you from paying something to someone
@ Anonymous
Thank you for your explanation. From the context I understood that the word “pasport” in Russian has a wider meaning but your comment confirmed it.
I bought a SIM card in China. Passport, address ect. Not much different to Australia exchange passport for drivers licence perhaps easier. Much faster.
@ Peter AU
I understand that would be required and even expected in some countries. The main problem is a government central database file on every citizen to cross check your personal details for validation. For instance, if you have no driver’s licence or some other official document (I know people who don’t) it means that you cannot get a mobile or even a landline phone or internet service. And even if you do have IDs, if there is a discrepancy between the details recorded on your government file (you don’t know what’s written there, they might be outdated, etc) and what’s on your ID documents then you cannot get a telecommunication service or, perhaps, open a bank account.
I know from experience that in some European countries you can buy a SIM card and credit voucher, pop it in your unlocked mobile phone or computer, and presto!
In Britain you can buy a pre-paid phone with just address details. However, we are the most surveilled people in the world, won’t accept ID cards, and are easily cross checked on multiple databases. Registering with a bank, doctor, landlord or employer requires a passport, birth certificate or similar proof of legitimate existence.
Thank you Helen.
I know very well how the Brits are being watched! But you don’t have Yet a government databank that vets your purchase of a SIM card as I found out recently.
Australia is still ahead
I was very proud when my article – under my codename Anonymous – How To Identify Trolls And Forum Spies
/moveable-feast-cafe-2016-11-04/comment-page-1/#comment-290852
Was chosen by Saker for stardom as its own little article on the front page.
From that article I note this point as being one of the most important..
Technique #1 – ‘Forum Sliding’
If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum – it can be quickly removed from public view by ‘forum sliding.’ In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to ‘age.’ Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a ‘forum slide.’ The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public. To trigger a ‘forum slide’ and ‘flush’ the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then ‘replying’ to prepositined postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting ‘slides’ down the front page, and quickly out of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.
and Technique #6 – ‘Gaining Full Con-Troll’
It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position.
Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings – and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public.
This is the ‘ultimate victory’ as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms.
Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline. By this method the forum can be quickly killed.
Since those exciting times when I killed uncle bob1 and elsi and railed at Dennis for bigging loveless sexual ritual in satanic temples which all the elite partake in worldwide now as well as LGBT studies to promote the communist-fascist dialectic to create a Satanic worldwide globalist totalitarian fake government of billionaires and slaves.
Alex Jones says Fake Globalism is not real Globalism but rather Satanic Elites from 1850 decided to control the planet using socialism and fascism as the dialectic to create a Huxley Brave New World Totalitarianism where a rich elite controls a poverty stricken (Austerity) population created by Fake Climate change and Fake Carbon Taxes.
I have noticed that all my articles were damned by faint praise or One of the points in my articles of many points being singled out for derision.
For example /moveable-feast-cafe-2016-12-08/#comment-302703 – The Ultimate “Fake News” was derided by my “Standing on the shoulders of giants” in my normal way of finding a good article and then taking out rubbish and adding all the amazing points the author missed out to make the article my own.
Personally I like this technique and think it is enormously valid.
The reply to my enormously informative article was this..
Hey!! He omitted the links again. Here is just one of them.
http://theunhivedmind.com/UHM/will-trump-break-the-media/
On this one, he omitted the word Jewish (In capital letters)
“The ‘chosen’ few: Nevo, Newhouse, Sulzberger, Roberts, Rothstein, Marks, Murdoch, Iger, Braverman…a concentration of “JEWISH” power.”
I am moderator, but if this continues (as it has done on other forums), we are sliding down the drain at an increasing pace.
Now I purposely removed “Jewish” because this denotes the whole Jewish race, 99% – like all races – are enormously good people. It is the people at the top, the psychopaths who are Satanists or Zionists – like Saker’s term, Nazionists who cause the problems and it is definitely the Fake News people at the top of the organisations noted, who are causing the problems…
Start with the media. You said it yourself.
[Clip: “The dishonest mainstream media is also part, and a major part, of this corruption. They’re corrupt. They lie and fabricate stories…”]
It’s because “they are of their father the devil, a liar from the beginning.”
The lies continue with the networks and the names:
CBS – Murray Rothstein, who changed his name to Sumner Redstone.
NBC – Brian Roberts, who owns Comcast, an ‘info-monopoly’ in the making.
ABC – Robert Iger and Alan Braverman.
They dropped their “American Family” and called it “Freeform” that pushes homosexual perversion.
CNN – Aviv Nevo, raised in Israel, whose approach to news has an alien bias.
Nationalize the media, then create a bidding process that obligates bidders to criteria that ensures unbiased news. And hold their feet to the fire.
It’s not far-fetched at all.
However, this is how you can tell the important articles in a forum.
They are excoriated by the bad guys.
But more importantly, along with others commenting on this same point, I notice that forum sliding has gained another technique which is that of forum dilution or flooding.
When a forum is filled with rubbish, “one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public. This is the ‘ultimate victory’ as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms.”
Now I know how it is done. GCHQ or another alphabet soup agency assigns four or five, “Snowdens” to disable important blogs and forums if they can to just add loads of nonsense cud so that people become bored and important memes are lost in the fog of dilution.
I was commenting in the Guardian newspaper and noticed the same thing.
As soon as one of my comments appeared it was surrounded by other commenters who came out of the woodwork to rubbish what I said.
I said this was like when a big powerful bull came out in the Roman Circus or Rodeo – very dangerous – and then was surrounded by clowns to protect the guy fallen to the floor.
I was enormously proud and happy when one of the Trolls took the avatar name of, “Bringontheclowns” who then with his colleagues managed the Guardian forums for years.
But I stopped commenting there.
Whether it is gossip, or nonsense or just cud for cow chewing – if this continues..
But then I noticed the flood of good.
Many good guys on the forum outflooded the Trolls and all was well again!!
Anon,
You do see the delicious irony of submitting a very long post on ‘forum sliding’ essentially adding nothing, which in effect was forum sliding.
Probably deliberate.
This technique is wasted here, as most if us have little patience with endless repetition and quickly scroll past.
Then there are the very vigilant mods, who have done sterling work keeping all the crud out.
I like to see occasional trolls get through – helps keep us sharp.
Elsi did a nice job on the Southfront thread exposing the source of the disinfo troll’s claims about the SAA’s ‘rout’ in Palmyra ( though Vot Tak had already voiced my own suspicions that this was a re-run along the usual Zio propagandist lines.)
Sometimes I think its good to let the disinfo trolls run their posts without challenge, perhaps even fake ‘disappointment’ with ‘our guys.’
That way they think they are succeeding and get complacent and sloppy.
If course, this post could also be in the nature of a ‘psyops’, couldn’t it ;-)?
One thing I am sure of – no algorithm-based AI trolling will ever trump human intuition, that DNA-deep capacity to subconsciously detect pattern/meaning, and the corollary ‘break’ that signals ‘danger.’
Neuroscience is a crude discipline really – never forget that.
Eimar,
I agree mate, if any troll wants to pop into this shark tank, they are more than welcome.
Indeed.
Let’em float awhile before we bite….;-)
“As soon as one of my comments appeared it was surrounded by other commenters who came out of the woodwork to rubbish what I said.”
Poetic justice, giving the following statement?
“Since those exciting times when I killed uncle bob1 and elsi…”
Here I detect a kinda megalomaniacal concept of yourself, since, are you sure you have killed anyone at all?
In any case, you might have achieved belating some of elsi´s recent posts, since I could see her claiming the other day that her post did not appear when some by Kent posted even an hour after hers had been published….
Then, you are saying “you are a moderator”, and, that same comment saying that, was made the other day by “Kent”, who, quickly, corrected it, by saying “he has been a mod in another place”…
So, or you are impersonating someone here, or we can conclude who you are, and why you could be doing this….Perhaps trying to get all attention to you by trying to “kill” some of the oldest and most apreciated commenters in this blog?…. It is obvious that you are thirsty of estelar attention.
And, curiously, as many trolls here, you are an Alex Jones fans….
The same anonymouse that started a lot of commenters calling other commenters out as trolls if they were not in agreement
Go back and hide under your bridge stardom mouse.
@Peter
The material Anon boasts about having published on this blog is not original either – it is part of an ‘education’ on troll techniques previously published on other alt-media sites.
I had already read them at least two years ago, and have myself experienced the ‘forum slide’ on some US sites (so confirming my opinion is closer to the mark than not – a negative can also function as a positive :-)
This stuff is pretty small beer though.
A read of Cass Sunstein’s (Sam Powers husband) online Bernaysian ‘instruction sheet’ is more educational.
An interesting video from the 2012 takeover of Aleppo. The person making the video was a reporter who filmed it from inside his own apartment building. Just looking at the street in front of the building. And seeing the activity by the terrorists taking over the area. The first ones I venture to guess were ones directly funded by Western NGO’s to revolt. That is only my guess of course. But by seeing those rebels and comparing them with the later ones.I come to that conclusion. Then we see the government forces liberating those areas. And lastly the jihadi forces taking the area over. With the failure of the Western “NGO” funded revolt.Just as in Ukraine. Where the West turned to the neo-nazis after the Western funded NGO protests against Yanukovich were seen failing. In Syria they turned to their jihadi “back-up” forces. The video isn’t pro-or-anti Assad. But it is telling that back then the reporter directly says that claims that the “revolution” in Syria started “peacefully” were a lie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THdMj0-LmRw
@ Uncle Bob
It is good to get more evidence about the Ziowestern hand in the Syrian tragedy but there is already a mountain of compelling evidence to prove their crimes. No “terrorist” organization could ever plan, fund, train and unleash the reign of terror (aka “Arab Spring”) from North Africa to the Levant leading to the destruction of hitherto stable states.
Just a reminder of the capacity of the organizers of mass murder for planning the current crisis in Palmyra. The reports coming out indicate the sophistication of the attack and the co-ordination involved in its execution. The Ziowesterns started weeks ago an operation to take Raqqa from IS but that came to a sudden halt, the same fate as the well-publicised “attack” on Mosul. Suddenly, a strong IS force armed with heavy armour and artillery falls on Palmyra from several directions and routing the SAA flimsy defences. It looks like the “attacks’ on Raqqa and Mosul were the cover to plan and direct the real attack on Palmyra.
Still, there is no excuse for the dismal intelligence and preparedness of the Syrian forces in and around Palmyra. Just another lesson to Putin, Lavrov, at al: the Ziowestern cabal is master of deception and perfidy and will not accept anything other than unconditional surrender, unless they are made to bite the dust.
Anon,
“He who defends everything defends nothing.” – Frederick the Great
Palmyra was always a propaganda victory, Aleppo is the real thing. Light infantry in open desert without supplies or reinforcements are dead meat. The Russians saw them coming, and rightly did nothing about it. They could have bombed them all the way in (as the US could have done if they were really fighting ISIS), but they didn’t. The T4 airbase has been reinforced, this time with Russian engineers, and will form the foundation stone for the coming counter-attack. I agree it is distasteful to have those animals back inside that beautiful cultural centre, but it has very little strategic significance in defending the civilian population in the West. Once Western Syria is liberated, nothing will protect these animals in their Eastern strongholds, not even the US. Once Iraq is cleared, the Shia militias will force them from the border and pursue them into Syria.
After the liberation of Aleppo, and Idlib to come, Sunnistan is doomed. All the Anglo-Zionists have done is kill another half a million people, while strengthening and uniting the Resistance Block. Good job idiots.
Earthrise, you are right about Palmyra not being of strategic importance, but did Russia see them coming?
Over at SST, the ex military crowd believes ISIS could have moved unseen, as in other situations, insurgents had moved unseen under US surveillance. Small units infiltrating over a period of time for the initial attack and the next waves of attackers traveling through dust storm.
Peter,
Quite possible mate, especially light units. But reports tell they had armour, technicals and VBIEDs. And also on Southfront there is an account from a Syrian soldier in Palmyra who said that the Russians were warning them for days. When you have satellites which can tell the sex of a kitten from low-Earth orbit, there is no way they could move tanks across open desert without being spotted. On that, normally you don’t drive tanks over this kind of distance (from Mosul or even Raqqa), you use a transporter. Otherwise these old jalopies would break down in no time. This was not done on the quiet. I have called from the start that this is a trap, only time will tell.
I’ve seen various explanations: bad weather, jammed communications, new and poorly Syrian troops of insufficient number, Assad saying that the priorities now are Aleppo and Idlib, and Russian and Syrian forces being too distant for a timely response. I’m in no position to know, but the idea of a trap intrigues me, and brings on the thought that those thousands of terrorists in Palmyra are essentially stuck there, facing a holding action, and not fighting in Allepo or Idlib — and can not easily leave or go there, and yet have little to do tactically or operationally, with only limited propaganda on a strategic level.
In short, a question may be, if you wanted to tie up a few thousand terrorists to keep them out of critical battles, where would you stow them? Just a thought….
Agreed Blue,
Now they are just down the road, not hundreds of miles away. Syrian LOC are short, with quick reaction times from nearby airbases. ISIS are on the other hand far from home with extended and vulnerable supply lines.
Palmyra was very lightly defended by all accounts. The Southfront article said the Eagle force holding the high ground hadn’t been paid in weeks, and half walked away. The SAA division was third-rate, and the militia were new. If it wasn’t a honeypot, they didn’t mind losing it.
@ Earthrise
You are an inexhaustible source of optimism – but it is not contagious though. So, the SAA regained control of Palmyra with pomp and circumstance just for show? And then to be lost again as a honey trap for the incautious headchoppers… The last I heard, the Russians are furious and very uncomplimentary about the performance of the SAA generals, not gloating about getting the prey in their sights.
Anon,
I am sure the Russians and Syrians would have preferred not to have lost Palmyra, that wasn’t the plan. When it was initially liberated, Aleppo and Idlib were still the most vital areas, but the Russians had not finished training and equipping the SAA. If the plan was to liberate Raqqa and Deir Al-Zor first, then Palmyra would have been a vital stage. But the plan was never to liberate the East before securing the population centres. The propaganda victory, the concert in the Amphitheater, was to show whose side stood for Civilisation. It’s loss now has little strategic effect, and demonstrates the clear strategic thinking of the Russo-Syrian war room.
You have challenged me a few times mate, if you have an alternative proposition lets hear it. My position is not optimistic or blind, I have used clear military terms. Let’s hear your explanation, and don’t skimp on the details.

Here is a gold-hearted person whose articles I have been reading for many months, who goes by the name of Littlehirosima, and who lives in Russia but often delivers humanitarian aid, mostly to the Lugansk Peoples Republic, and also sometimes to the Donetsk Peoples Republic.
As always, the needs of the especially poor people in the Donbass far exceed the supply of aid, and yet, especially from Western countries, a small amount of money goes much further there, so if you would like to donate say $5, £5 or €5, it would be very much appreciated. Obviously, I can’t vouch for her 100% (I have never met her and only know about her through the Internet), and yet I think she is quite genuine, inasmuch as can be established from a distance.
Even if you can’t donate, I recommend bookmarking her website, and I find her articles are worth reading.

Thanks Ralph. I read about her work about a year ago and I was impressed. She appears genuine and a very generous human being to do that kind of work. I’d rather help people like her than the big time charities where donations end up in fat salaries for CEOs and managers.
Tank you for reminding us of this Lady.
This one,(as others on her blog) really got to me.

With the incidents of Christmas cheer increasing, this has got me thinking again about what Christianity is all about. The cheer of this time of year is the perfect counter-point for what I believe is the focus of Christian philosophy; the banishment of despair. I am going to use the Sociological Perspective, which means I am only going to look at what role the organ actually plays in society, rather than what they say they do. And while this treatise is going to be factual, I apologise for any offence. My intent is not to disprove God, but to examine cleared of propaganda what this philosophy is actually trying to achieve.
Looking around at Western society, something is badly wrong. Depression is epidemic, drug use almost universal (illicit and proscribed), with families and communities breaking down before our very eyes. Depression is a slippery slope towards suicide, the ultimate rejection of society. I am not going to go through all the reasons we are collapsing, I have touched on some during these weeks. But in realising how dangerous and detrimental this social decay is, I also noticed how perfectly-crafted Christianity is to address this. If I think about all the triggers for depression, I can also find a corresponding tenant of Christianity which deals with it. I don’t have the room to write this essay here, but I will list some of my discoveries in dot-point form, and if people are interested we can discuss further in the replies.
Betrayal by a friend/lover:- In the end, putting our complete trust in any human is misplaced, and the cause of so much heartache. The Christ is a friend who will never let you down.
Health Issue:- Serious illness drags down our mental health, which effects our immunity system. Trusting in God promotes positive thoughts, which improves our ability to fight illness. Hope is the best medicine.
Mental Health:- Confession is an early form of psychotherapy. Much of our suffering is sub-conscious recognition of past crimes (bad kharma), which prevents us from sleeping and finding happiness. By speaking them out loud and receiving God’s forgiveness, we are relieved.
Good Deeds:- The exortion to look after the disadvantaged on the other hand (good kharma) improves our mental health through the joy of giving.
Earthly Suffering:- The old ‘opiate of the masses’. While we may have been born into poverty or slavery, we can find contentment knowing a better place waits for us after death.
Death:- The biggie. We are the only species which knows we are going to die. This spectre haunts every day of our lives. By promising an afterlife, we can alleviate this constant drain on our happiness.
There are more, in fact every Christian tenant has a corresponding positive effect on a cause of despair. The Romans were very skilled and experienced social engineers, and when their civilisation was dying they tried to preserve this wisdom inside the Christian practice. All you have to do is suspend disbelief, and all this happiness can be yours. I wish I could, instead I will remain the King of Pain.
I understand where you’re coming from @ earthrise. The only difference is that I don’t find it painful. I find it rather funny.
For example I don’t see trolls nearly as much as others do. Nothing I saw twilight write so far struck me as trollish. It’s not saying give up. It’s saying watch out, be careful, don’t underestimate the evil.
I watched several minutes of this guy for the first time ever, tonight, Christopher Green. So far, so good. Pizza-gate both real AND a trap??? I understand the concept.
https://youtu.be/AhUqD285boM
But it frustrates the emotions of those who want it to be simple, quick, and over soon, because their tolerance for pain is so minuscule, and they just can’t bear the complexity of having to forget their feelings and pain for an extended period of time. And that makes them very vulnerable to traps by hunters that understand their weaknesses.
It’s what worries me about our dear Dennis, bless his heart: “Well of course I’m projecting myself onto the Creator, saying he hates sex. How can I not? We are all narcissists, at heart. How can I not project?”
Well, believe it or not it is possible to not project. It is possible to realize that all your ego is good for is blocking a punch thrown at your face and wiping your butt. ‘Cause no other thing but your ego will do those necessary things for you. But it will not lead you to deeper truths. It will be the greatest obstacle to such progress. So, keep it in check or you will defeat your greater self that has a higher purpose. Elementary.
I think there’s hope. I’m not kind to cynics that attack “hopium” and give nothing to help make others stronger, after ridiculing their hope.
The article Katherine asked people to read and give feedback on will depress some, but it gave me hope that such crimes against Russia and Americans can create an unbeatable alliance:
https://wikispooks.com/w/images/d/db/Collateral_Damage_-_part_1.pdf
If enough people get what we are up against and rise to the level of non-ego involvement required to beat them.
And I hope Dennis is enjoying an incredible moonlit landscape as the Love Train rolls east. Peace to iaon. I don’t think Christ is all hopium. I think elites tried to turn him into that almost 2000 years ago, so that many would believe the deception that they would be saved by mere belief plus standing down and leaving all the rest to those elites.
Bro, this one was not directed at Dennis in any way. I apologised in advance because there are a few Christians here, and I respect their beliefs. This is something I have been chewing on for years, I just wanted to see what the Vineyard thought of my theory. I started to form this idea when I studied Buddhism, and it’s overwhelming focus on suffering. In a way, Christianity tries to get the same results through ‘faith’ rather than a torturous journey of self-discovery. Also, Buddhism has no God, so no room for a Priest to get his grubby hands on the levers of power.
@Earthrise
I suggest you read the Michael Parenti link on the sectarian Tibetan Buddhist theocracy that preceded the Chinese communist takeover. (Provided by Helen – can’t remember the thread, but if you can’t find it, will search it for you).
You will discover the Buddhist monastic/non-theist approach is no defence from caste – quite the feudal horror-story in fact.
And karma only functioned to buttress the socially unequal order. ( Certainly explains the attraction it has for the rich and famous – particularly Hollywood liberals. ‘Because I’m worth it’ is not just an ad-catchphrase…..’)
I guess us humans – certainly men, if not women to the same degree – are strongly predisposed to heirarchies and rationalizing material ‘success’ as ‘reward’ for ‘superiority’.
So Christianity in its basic tenet – that it is ‘easier for a rich man to pass through the eye of a needle, than enter the kingdom of heaven’ seems a radical departure from the ‘just deserts’ of feudalism and its imperial extension.
That it was used to excuse the feudal order wouldn’t be the first time overlords exploited/inverted a tenet for their own gain.
It was ever thus….:-)
My link was in Ghassan Kadi’s piece on the disappearance of flowers and the peace movement:

There is a Chinese museum that has photos and artefacts from that time in Tibet, truly nightmare stuff.

“I guess us humans – certainly men, if not women to the same degree – are strongly predisposed to heirarchies and rationalizing material ‘success’ as ‘reward’ for ‘superiority’. ”
Do I detect a faint hint of sexism there? Not really. Obviously males tend to stand out for public recognition for their manly prowess, most likely inherited from the times when survival depended on their martial feats in hunting and fighting.
However, women tend to be more the social climbers. Studies on social stratification and mobility show that women from working class backgrounds tend to self-identify with a higher social order and often are the “drivers” to egg on their husbands for social advancement, e.g. acquisition of status symbols. But, of course you know this, I just wanted to expand on that little “secret”.
.
Women are just as materialistic as men – agreed.
But they don’t have anything like the same level of control over resources.
And the mass of humanity – both male and female – doesn’t either.
So we’re back to class :-)
“Well, believe it or not it is possible to not project. Elementary.”
I propose these sentences for our elementary sockets underneath personal psyche
Great insight
In Jung’s words, “necessary to retract projection”.

Good call Mundano,
Buddhists believe all our problem come from the Self. As nothing is permanent, all thoughts and actions which try to preserve the Self cause us to suffer. We can’t stop the River, we just need to let it flow through us. If we are able to achieve this state, supposedly we will be happy.
I find this very difficult, not to be proud of past achievements, hold certain people dear, not be attached to anything. It would be like walking through life leaving behind a trail of fire which erases everything we have done. But I guess this the truth anyway, we are only here, now.
Christmas was of course originally a pagan feast and festival of light, Saturnalia, designed to alleviate the gloom of a long dark winter of scarcity with a reminder that the light and sun returns bringing more abundant food crops. A natural antidote to despair, particularly in the Northern hemisphere where SAD is a significant problem.
I consider myself agnostic, although if asked will say that I am a basic heathen as I prefer, but don’t believe in, the stories of the old gods which make more sense to me than any formal religion. I studied Buddhism and many other faiths for many years but was always loathe to call myself Buddhist or anything else after my early experiences of catholic indoctrination.
I recognise that most people need religion, that it is personal and precious to them and not to be mocked or disparaged in any way. I detest being on the receiving end of a proselytiser i.e. someone telling how I must think and live, so avoid doing it myself to others. I live quite happily without religion and while not a fan of prolonged suffering, haven’t had a fear of death for about 30 years. I did suffer considerably before that.
I agree with Bro 93, the conundrums of life do get to be quite funny over time, but then I have always had a very black sense of humour.

An old friend flirted briefly with Buddhism.
She dropped it after listening to the fellow ‘searcher’ on the rug beside her chanting for a Lamborghini…but not before announcing to her (rather alarmed) die/hard Roman Catholic father that she was contemplating becoming a Buddhist nun, shaving her head bald and giving most of her salary to the ‘sect’.
This was greeted with a ‘dressing-down’ from Dad, who simply ‘couldn’t believe an educated woman like you could fall for this cult’….

It’s sure starting to sound like the establishment is going to use this whole ‘Russia hacked the election’ meme as a pretense to escalate hostilities with Putin and / or Trump. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-15/obama-vows-retaliation-against-russia-hacking-hold-press-conference-tomorrow
It seems to me if Trump intends to be a successful President (if he gets in office). Then the “draining of the swamp” must entail a mass replacing and sending to trial the traitorous Clinton and Obama loyalists. We’ve never seen anything like that in the US before (except maybe during the Civil War). But in the modern US we’ve never seen such “bold-faced” treason from an outgoing regime either. To forgive and forget is not a viable option in this case. Their treason has created a “clear and present” danger for the US. Cooking up a crooked scheme to foment trouble with a Nuclear Superpower to serve their own interests is not forgivable in my book. And a harsh “object lesson” is called for to make sure it never happens again.
IMO this escalation is part of “the plan” of the real decision makers. The question is, at least for me, whether it’s some short/medium plan improvisation, or is the whole escalation prelude part of the “core strategy”…
Meta-conspiracies, e.g. Agenda 21 suggest, that this escalation is played by all parties, in order to achieve their globalistic goals. As both Russia and China are signatories of Agenda 21 & all main players praise globalistic institutions as UN, WTO etc.
Be your own judge, as I can see reasonable arguments for both explanation (it’s a real struggle among the powers vs. it’s an Orwellian war fake-news plot)
Exactly.
That’s why I think Bannon should damn well study Putin’s methods when it comes to neutralizing the oligarchs.
They are given a free rein in the US – even non-domiciled ones – to use the military for their insane neocolonial/neo feudalist/Malthusian/eugenicist agendas: they would have no power without it to control the energy routes, and increasingly, the global food and water supply.
Show-trials are long overdue in the US.
This is very important—“retaliation of our choosing” when and where? What does that mean ?
Oh, no little man, this kind of talk needs to be nipped right in the bud. Threats against Russia so you and your ilk can stay in power due to some kind of contrived emergency based on non factual accusation?

Been raving about Katherine’s article. Regardless of imperfections the scope is what counts to justify a “high alert” condition for a good, good long while, that is until most of these vampires are defanged.
I’m reading my way through it at the moment–quite gobsmacking and more than plausible. It fits what I already know and has been well documented about the nefarious doings of the Nugan Hand and BCCI banks.
Definitely recommend giving it a read.
Thank you. I have downloaded it. Like the PNAC or Anissa Naoui’s takedown of Christiane Amanforsure, it is not likely to last long without cleansing.
The trouble is, I know almost no one intelligent or brave enough to read it.
I guess it will have to be me.
This pulls together so many loose ends and connects so many dots for me.
@ Helen
Nugan Hand bank rings a bell. They were up to some murky business in Australia a few decades ago (1980s?). I think there was a Royal Commission to investigate their wheelings and dealings but can’t remember the details.
Industrial scale money laundering to finance various covert ops. It was investigated but the scale and scope of operations was never fully disclosed. Many of the players died in odd circumstances or disappeared. BCCI was a similar set-up, probably on a much larger scale, covering India, Pakistan and the ME, at least. Similar outcome.
For those puzzled by the increasing shift of BBC news coverage towards zionism over the last decade or more, here is an unverified list of bbc personnel from the web, it may have changed…
” The BBC (British Brainwashing Corporation) is controlled by Jews, and rabid Zionists…
Rona Fairhead, Chairman of BBC Trust, is Jewish.
Danny Cohen, Director of Television, is Jewish.
Alan Yentob, Creative Director, is a Jew.
Anthony Reuben, BBC Statistics, is Jewish.
James Harding, Director of News and Current Affairs, is a Jew.
Sir Nicholas Hytner, Non-Executive Director, is Jewish.
Sir Nicholas Serota, Non-Executive Director, is a Jew.
James Purnell, Director of Strategy and Education, is not a Jew, but he was the Chairman of the pro-Israel lobby group ‘Labour Friends of Israel’.
Sir Howard Stringer, Non-Executive Director, is not a Jew, but he was the Honorary Chairman of the ‘American Jewish Committee’. “

Srewth! Old Aunty Beeb has been taken hostage by the Tribe. I have been turning my head round that mystery (the dramatic change of her tune in the last decade or so) and that throws some light into that darkhole.
But you have to give them credit for the very thorough work of infiltrating the levers of power and influence in most countries that matter to fulfil that mission of Zionism – smother the goyim and make him eat shit. It’s getting closer…
Near Total Zionist Jewish
Control Of The British Media
Commentary – Analysis
By Thomas Sparks
As of May, 2002 (edited)
http://www.rense.com/general38/brits.htm
What ever the (((tribe))) cannot buy out right like what was announced yesterday:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/sky-21st-century-fox-sale-takeover-agreement-reached-rupert-murdoch-a7477011.html
they simply infiltrate and takeover by stealth.
The BBC is one such organization, infiltrated and hollowed out by the tribe.
Politicians who’s election into office they bankroll, in turn ensure that members of the (((tribe))) are elected to the management boards of these publicly owned coporations like the BBC.
The dramatic deterioration in BBC journalism directly co-relates to the gradual takeover of the organization by persons from a particular tribal orientation that demand that only what is in their tribal intetests gets aired or the message must be covered in duch as way as to favor thrir cause.
For them a “free press”, exists anywhere that allows them to buy up and controll everything.
Therefore countries that have restrictions on media ownership are from their prespective always perceived as enemies and hostile.
Putin got wise to their schemes early and placed curbs and limits on their influence in Russia, so he is seen as an enemy.
Do you ever see how Putin and Russia get portrayed in the Zionist-controlled MSM?
The MSM is Zionist owned and controlled, and this control and ownership get racheted up each day with more mergers and acquisitions, like the Fox takeover of Sky.
It is all about controlling the narrative.
Countries that have regulations snd laws governing Media ownership ate pressured to change them ostensibly to promote diversitiy and innovation, but really to facilitate Zionist takeover and control.
And like I said earlier, whenever thty encounter and entity that thry are not allowed to buy, they simply infiltrate the management and then decide what gets covered and how it gets covered.
As things stand now, for you to get any senior management positions or occupy positions that are deemed critical or senisitive at any of these coporations, your ‘Zionist credentials’ have to be in tact.
Overtime they then impose unwritten rules that says; Israel is not to be covered in an unfavourable way and states or individuals deemed hostile to Israel’s interests must never receive positive coverage.
Case in point:
the Palestinian perespective is never featured on the BBC. Palestinians are never potrayed as victims. Even when Israel guns down kids, in the West Bank or Gaza, they will only give the version of the IDF spoke person.
Palestinian victims are never interviewed, and every Israeli crime is carried as a reaction or retaliation to prior Palestinian action.
This is all spelt out in the Protocols, but they’ve managed to convince you that its a “frogery” or now the new term is “fake news”.
Take some tine to read the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and you will see where all this is going.
Peace
Those ‘protocols’ – real, fake or some admixture of both – are completely unnecessary.
Referencing them simply plays into the hands of Kosher Nostra, and their Anglo-Zionist controllers.
Simple pattern-detection reveals enough, and never forget it’s all about control of energy anyway.
And the perrenial Malthusian/eugenicist obsessions of the financiers.
All else is mere detail.
What is not ‘mere detail’ is succumbing to the intimidation and censorship by the Anglo-Zionist Empire which the Protocols have become an excuse for. Whether they are ‘authentic’ or not is hardly the point now. Though I think the investigation into that question was as legitimate and impartial as the one by the Dutch Ukrainians into MH 17.
They are ‘true’, at the very least in the sense that literature and its minor branch, polemics, can be true. Both have literary and political merit.

We can’t really lose now mate. If they steal the election, the Right will loose their sh!t. And they won’t be going to hugging rooms or crying to their therapist; they have guns. America needs to come to a head, the sooner the better.
@ Earthrise
Wishful thinking again! The “Right” (a.k.a. Rednecks) may have their constitutionally sanctioned guns but they are no match for the militarized police and National Guard, plus all 3-letter agencies and the Pentagon if it comes to that. It has been done before and that’s how general MacArthur earned his stars: a charge on the Bonus Army veterans, wives and children, some dead, many wounded, in front of the Whore House, Washington DC, 1932, a time when the governments were a bit softer on the people.
Man, you are the pessimist. The ‘Right’ includes thousands of veterans who have had the wool pulled from their eyes. My point is these people won’t cry in a corner, they will fight. I am not advocating a violent revolution, but power only respects power. As the Water Defenders proved, police and national guards don’t mind smashing hippies and coloured people, but baulk at macing vets and fellow patriots.
I am beginning to wonder why you are so negative, do you need some time in the hugging room?
@ Peter AU
I don’t think it makes any difference to the “Putin did it campaign” though. They knew all along Russia had nothing to do with it but it suited their plans to demonize Putin and Russia and, perhaps, getting the election result overturned.
RT has the story up, along with additional info.

WikiLeaks calls on Obama to submit proof of Russian hacking for verification
https://www.rt.com/usa/370567-wikileaks-obama-russian-hacking-docs/
“Following Barack Obama’s vow to take action against Russia for its alleged hacking of the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta’s emails, WikiLeaks has suggested the president upload any documents to its whistleblowing site for verification.
In a tweet on Friday from the WikiLeaks Twitter account, the whistleblowing website encouraged Obama to “submit any Putin documents” to them so they can “be authenticated to our standards if he wants them to be seen as credible.”
“Should the coup succeed violent insurrections in the United States are likely to ensue with unpredictable consequences.”
Seems b over at Moon of Alabama agrees with me. My question is why are you so intent on opposing me?
“As the Water Defenders proved, police and national guards don’t mind smashing hippies and coloured people, but baulk at macing vets and fellow patriots.”
Beg to differ. If anything, 911 was a most beautiful, eloquent proof of the love and devotion on the part of the ruling Pindo kakistocracy towards its ever so flag-waving, gung-ho Exceptional and Indispensable subjects, most notably including those at the Pentagon. The police and national guards won’t hesitate to obey orders even if they, highly likely, would prefer the unrestrained lawlessness of policing the underclass.
“Should the coup succeed, violent insurrections in the United States are likely to ensue with unpredictable consequences.”
Not impossible, but then it would be because of total, utter incompetence on the part of the plotters in the realm of propaganda. Pindos practice self-worship first and foremost; hence all it would take to have Joe and Jane Sixpack heartily embrace a colour revolution on US soil would be some imbecilic media stunts where Trump is “proven to be un-American”. Should Soros et consortes fail to take this very simple point into account, then it could spiral out of control really badly, yes.
Nussiminen,
You may well be correct, and I imagine the ‘Right’ will be very easy to subvert with Goering’s call to patriots. The ‘Right’ have proven they don’t care about ‘Others’ overseas who are the recipients of ‘Freedom and Democracy’. But the do care about themselves, and they do blame neo-liberalism in all it’s guises for their woes. This will all depend on leadership, which is why Trump is the very unlikely vessel of our hopes.

Untold Story of Henry Kissinger’s Involvement in Chilean Coup of 1973
https://sputniknews.com/politics/201612161048668493-chile-coup-us-kissinger/
“For many politicians, especially in the US government, the acquisition of the Nobel Peace Prize has become the way to whitewash their record and rewrite history so that their crimes, genocide and murder would be less visible,” Pablo Sepulveda, the grandson of former President of Chile Salvador Allende, told Sputnik Spanish.
He pointed out that a few days after Allende won the 1970 presidential election in Chile American politicians met with Agustin Edwards, the owner of conservative newspaper El Mercurio, seeking to prevent the Chilean president-elect’s inauguration.
At that time the president was approved by the country’s Congress and Washington tried to persuade Chilean lawmakers not to allow Allende to take office.”
Sound like the current zionazi attempt to manipulate the electors to vote against trump on 19 Dec.?
Do you think it is a sign of death-throes in the dying Empire that such measures were heretofore only needed in the satellite vassal states, never back home in ”Blighty'(stateside)?
F
I’m not convinced “the empire” is in it’s death throes yet and I also think the centre of it is probably israel. The usa, I think, is more like its main power base and enforcer. Their hysteria about trump is quite a sight to see. Looks like panicked desperation. Which leads me to think the hystericals fear something more than just a simple changing of the guard. But what?
It’s possible they fear their connections to al qaida type terrorism being exposed, maybe even prosecuted? Their other crimes, as well? Whatever it is they fear, it is obvious this is no normal situation like the previous prez changes.
What they fear is the financial/banking system imploding, like the house of cards it actually is when not nursed along and protected by themselves. Their power goes when the system goes. Trump is the epitome of a loose cannon and the very precarious system (in truth a Ponzi scheme run by criminals) is unlikely to survive with a loose cannon careering across the deck, however good his intentions might be.
“Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Thursday, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange clearly stated, “Our source was not the Russian government.”
quoted from RT: https://www.rt.com/usa/370567-wikileaks-obama-russian-hacking-docs/
When they first broached the question, the DNC et al. claimed that they were the victim and Russia was working to cause their downfall and throw the election. I was thinking, “Really? Why would Putin have to get his hands dirty with that when youse guys are doing such a fine job of it yourselves?” A lot of other people recognized the same thing, and they published their observations to that effect. And the effect goes on that a bit of critical thinking starts to emerge and people start going, “Yeah…now that you mention it…” But that has not resulted in the reasoned response of silencing them, rather, the result has been doubling down on absurdity.
Meanwhile, in the Kremlin, Russia watches to see how bad this train wreck is going to be. They are probably scratching their heads too, trying to figure how any organization can be so stupid when perception is so vital. They are destroying theirs, in a fit of blame transference, but they haven’t made a move to step away from that cookie jar their gloms are stuck in. Nope. Just keep it up, underscoring points that Putin has been making all along, about them, and now, even those who were dubious about what the leader of Russia was saying, they now know he was on the money, and US establishment fake news drove the point home for him.
Years ago, I had an American-made car that kept making this loud buzzing noise, and very disconcertingly, that noise was coming from somewhere underneath. Also concerning me because frequently, my two children, still in car seats rode with me places. I went back to the dealer with it, and finally they determined it wasn’t anything to worry about. “It’s just your heat shield for the cat. converter. It’s not really critical.” I stopped putting up with that racket and I reached under there and tugged on it till the damned thing came off. No more Buzzing. Problem solved, and we could listen to Raffi without the distortion. Does DNC, and the Fake News Mainstream media, and now the bamster admin. want for us to do the same thing to them if ignoring them won’t shut them the hell up?

A privatization deal involving partial sell-off of Rozneft to Glencore/Quatar?
I am confused. Two key words keep popping into my head – ‘ruble’ and ‘Deutsche Bank’ ( this latter is not even mentioned in the John Helmer article, so making me even more confused…)
http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2016/12/the-story-that-russia-does-not-want-you-to-see-the-rosneft-share-sale-as-a-sham-transaction.html
Thanks Eimar for the link
I don’t know what to make of it, apart from being a financial legerdemain of high proportions. The question is: is it a real transaction? The implication from the article is that it is not, only a financial trick to inject 11 billion euros into the state budget and that the Qatari/Swiss “purchasers” of the tranche are mere fronts. But they will be entitled to hefty dividends that the Russian treasury will lose. However you look at it, it stinks to high heavens. Someone will reap benefits from this shady deal, not the Russian people.
‘Is it a real transaction’?
I think the question is ‘is it a real sale?’
And I don’t know why Putin would be involved in a ‘shady deal’ that is to the general detriment of Russia: that rather defeats the purpose of this transaction.
Helmer, who isn’t a hostile Russophobe, and is an experienced and thoughtful analyst, certainly seems critical.
I have the impression he thinks Putin has been ‘hoodwinked’ into a bad long-term deal for short-term gain.
But this is not a sole Putin decision – it is pretty unlikely it wasn’t reviewed by the Security Council. Oil is Russia’s life-blood and the peg on which the economy is ‘hung’.
Remember, the Syrian debacle was largely down to Assad’s refusal to allow the pipeline from Quatar through Syria.
The Quataris recently objected to Deutsche Bank’s reconstruction (following the huge US fine ) including its investor component, in which they have a large stake.
So there is more to this than apparently meets the eye – it seems political, involving currency and security agendas.
It will be instructive to see how Anglo media ‘reports’ it.
If the story is true. There may be another angle to it as well. My understanding from other posts in the past is that the Russian Central Bank isn’t “allowed” to just print money (a leftover from the pro-West 1990’s). So that might have been a method to get around that prohibition. Doing the same thing but calling it something else. I’d like to see more on the story, before really having a firm opinion about it. But that was something that struck me when I started to read the article. Maybe not the most above board plan. But still when you are forced to be “creative”,that might have been one creative solution to the Central Bank’s problem.
I’ve been troubled by this “hacking scandal” for a while now. Nothing clearing it up has been revealed totally. The reason I believe is because they are talking about “two” separate things. And the US is trying to combine the “two” for political propaganda purposes into one.Do I think Russia hacked into the DNC? Probably so,we know that type of operation is done by intelligence agencies Worldwide, and all the time. The US is a “leader” in that type of thing. Though to hear them talk, you’d think they were “squeaky clean” and “shocked” that type of thing happens, totally hypocritical. It was pretty recently that the US even “hacked” and “tapped” the cell phones of the leaders of Brazil,Germany, etc. They were even forced to admit to that. And I’m sure they “have”, or attempted,to hack into computers throughout Russia. So the “holier than thou” act they are playing is beyond repulsive. But the “normal” hacking that goes on is “one point”. The second point,is the “releasing” of the hacked data to Wikileaks. And there,I’m almost certain Russia is innocent. And the US “knows” they are innocent of that.More than likely,as the evidence (such as it is) points. It was a “leak”,not a hack. And done by disgruntled Democrats themselves. But for “political” reasons,to discredit Trump, and frame Russia. They are trying to connect “two separate” happening together.
Don’t be disheartened Uncle Bob.
The comments at Breitbart, following Obama’s accusation of Russian hacking , and claim that ‘Putin is aware of my feelings’ are simply priceless:
. That’s what’s keeping Putin up at night. Worried he might have upset barry.
And:
Putin shouldn’t have named the malware file “Vlad the malwarer”…that gave it away to Larry, Curly and Moe at the CIA

Also, it never made sense to me, for various reasons. I think it’s just another invented story.
President Obama’s End of the Year News Conference
https://sputniknews.com/us/201612161048672776-president-obama-press-conference/
“Based on uniform intelligence assessments, the Russians were responsible for hacking the DNC and that as a consequence, it is important for us to review all elements of that, and make sure we are preventing that kind of interference through cyber attacks in the future,” Obama responded. “My hope is that the president-elect is going to be similarly concerned with making sure that we don’t have foreign influence in our election process.”
The pathetic zio-gay quisling made that statement after Greg Murray specifically stated he was the guy who gave WikiLeaks the dnc leaked emails and that the leaker was a legal recipient of the emails. There is no way obama didn’t know this when telling that lie.
These zionazis are so used to having their way, they apparently stopped engaging in alternate strategies planning. They figure their media and uniform quisling-speak will be able to over ride all. It worked for them a long time, now it doesn’t. But they still try it, lacking the intelligence ability to change horses midstream. “This is the plan and we’re sticking to it no matter what.”
It’s very obvious that the neocon zionazi is dumbest of the lot. And so full of hubris, they are incapable of seeing things from outside povs. At all. Psychopaths.
The leaker would be the DNC staffer who was inexplicably murdered shortly after, I assume and Assange has heavily hinted.
I have been tossing it around for awhile.
It is in the interests of Russian strategic defence that Clinton to does not become president so there is a genuine motive.
The allegations are that Russia Putin is/has manipulated the elections to ensure Trump wins rather than Russia simply exposing Clinton. But as with MH17, weapons of mass destructruction ect ect simply no evidence.
Who else has a motive? What were the motives of Manning, Snowden and the other whistle blowers that sent information/data to wikileaks and elsewhere? They were never accused of working for Russia.
I believe that Fancy Bears hacking WADA and the Shadow brokers putting NSA hacking tools on the open net for all to see may well have been Russian government backed, but the so called DNC hacks looks more like a whistle blower.

Just for the record I have no positive way of identifying the surroundings (tank-picture) or verifying that this is actually from Aleppo, or Syria for that matter, even if it is claimed so by the original poster the pbs.twimg.com uploading algorithms, seemingly remove the Exif and IPTC data from photos.
Sometimes, as it has happened a few times, especially from the Ukrainian sides, they “forget”, rather do not know anything about embedded data in photos when they illustrate “Russian Invasion” etc..

The wikispooks Collateral damge pdf https://wikispooks.com/w/images/d/db/Collateral_Damage_-_part_1.pdf has been mentioned on the Saker site a few times so I began reading it. I get to the part about the Golden Lilly treasure which included 280,000 metric tons of gold.
I have been interested in gold for some time, spent a few months full time prospecting, but also did a lot of research. Total gold estimated to have been mined in all history is not very much. The amount mined per year for the last twenty years or so has increased dramatically from a hundred years ago. From 1800 to 1900, the amount mined increased dramatically from the preceding thousands of years.
The estimated amount of gold mined throughout history is around 165,000 metric tons.
One site here with a few figures on gold but do your own research. http://www.numbersleuth.org/worlds-gold/
Alternatives to Revolution?
Sometime ago there was a brief discussion in the Café on the perennial topic “What to do?” to challenge the capitalist stranglehold on the economy and, consequently, over our lives. After all, it is the economic mode of production that determines everything else about our existence, from the political system what we eat. Someone suggested to organize local self-help communities as an embryonic movement to bring some autonomy to how we live and co-operatives were also mentioned.
Since modern urban communities are limited in their choice of economic activity (in fact non-industrial cities are parasitic) possible alternatives to escape the capitalist rat-race are only available in rural areas, namely agriculture, where there is an old and established tradition not only in ex-socialists countries but also under capitalism and the kolkhoz is still very much alive in Russia.
I just read an article in Counterpunch on a book related to that subject, limited to US readership, but giving case studies from Argentina and Cuba:
http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/12/16/conceptualizing-cooperatives-as-a-challenge-to-capitalist-thinking/
A few years ago I travelled extensively throughout Western Europe and lived for some years in England, France, Spain and Portugal. In south of the last country I bought a hunting scene hand-made tapestry from a local co-operative and saw several women bent over their work to make sure the tapestry was in fact hand-made there. I asked the manager about the extent of co-operative production in the country and she told me that in 1974 many large land estates and factories were taken over and run by the workers as co-operatives. While the industrial co-operatives failed because the ex-owners persuaded the clients and suppliers to stop dealing with the co-operatives, the agricultural ones became established and over 1,000 were still active then. Although the government was of the neo-liberal variety, they would not interfere with the status and some privileges in favour of co-operativism. Because the local agricultural co-operative was the mainstay of the village economy it influenced other activities as well such as artisanal works, commerce and a food processing plant, all run co-operatively.
It is possible.
I analyzed the Grandola-Constellation in my German Blog, anybody like translating it?

Sorry Mundo, it was not Grandola but another town in the same province, Alemtejo, the name of which I have forgotten. Definitely it was not a constellation! And I have the tapestry to prove it!
Just in jest – if you missed my drift. Funny coincidence though misplacing your post where a Jungoistic (my deliberate neologism) contextual connection could be made.

Sole Ownership
Big Brother doesn’t own
Any being’s soul, least of all
His own sad stolen one.
As soon as the evil thrall
Of slavish control and fear
Grips the soul of the buyer
The seller or the stealer,
His soul escapes the death
Of his breathing corpse,
Like that of mad Macbeth.
If your body is enchained,
And life is but to suffer
Until you die, body pained
The soul gets all the tougher.
If you despair, lose all heart,
And mind and life release,
Your soul is free, it will depart
And seek its liberty and peace
Away from violence’s violations
Of rights, by evil men or nations.
Pilots of vessels on this sea
Of bright stars in our Milky Way,
This voyage into vast eternity
Needs your watch, every day.
Captains of each ship and soul,
Stand well your trick until its end.
No one owns you but The All.
Each part, each part to transcend
Its material chains, its captivity
Free unto its All-limitless infinity.
Good to hear the Deadly Poet’s Society back in full voice, a revolution without poetry is not worth having.
Arrived yesterday to a Winter Wonderland here in Wisconsin. -15 degrees F last night. Just in time to catch this outbound Love Train Love Cafe Moveable Feast Car Caboose. Love you all. Missed you one and all. Going to take a walk in the brisk air and crunchy snow after this. Sure makes you come alive, all their heavy air. Bright sunny day. Little wind. No clouds.
The train trip was a microcosm of life, mixed bag, part cattle car and luxury liner. Got me all shook up. No cozy vineyard out there in the frozen north country. Love put me through the wringer, but a damn good thing to bring her.
Feel like I’m back on track to find (and define per helen-ization) my roots. I discover (uncover) the naked, raw truth of communal sex within a lover context and sub-text.
Gott to run and have some fun in the ten foot snow-plowed hills that give me the chills and thrills.
Back to childhood with a roll in the snow. What a love train this life is. In three weeks I’ll be back on the track, vineyard bound Southern California style. “If I don’t make it, you know my baby will.” Jack will get his Jill at the top of that snow pile hill.
Just wanted to touch home base with you again. I love you with a love as pure as the driven snow. I was once as pure as newly fallen snow but then I drifted. “She’s drifting too far from shore,” to change the temperature metaphor.
I see that the war continues as reported in the War Room. When will it end? It’s over and won as far as I’m concerned, when I’m with you in the Love Bower, protected by the Love Army, even in, and perhaps especially, in a Winter Wonderland.
Dennis Dear, I’m glad you made it safely!
It’s luck of the Irish you got out of Dodge. Someone’s been gunning for you. The PC sniper.
They already claim to have killed Uncle Bob 1 and elsi, but as far as I can see, they just shot themselves in their Anonymouse foot. Well, no pain, no gain, as they say.
I took a walk at dawn and the moon was waning and sinking into the west.
Believe it or not we had a good rain Thursday night and an early Sunday morning frost.
And that’s the Southland! You might skate on your Ojai pond!
Love Hyperbole for the Hyper-silly. (Me, not you.)
Snow? You might want to rake it
Although I know you can take it.
And if you can’t quite make it
Well, you can always fake it.
But when you skate, (and lake it)
Don’t fall on your hip and break it.
Above all Love is ALL, can’t shake it.
So for Heaven’s sake, don’t forsake ITt!
“The wintertime is coming, my window is filled with frost.
I tried to tell everybody, but I could not get across.
I wanta be your lover, baby, I don’t wanta be your boss!
Now don’t say I didn’t warn you, if your train gets lost.”
Train Time Refrain
I’m sure it won’t.
In sun and in rain
We’ all love y’all
Travelin’ by train.
We’re in the mall
Suffrin’ brain drain
And wallet pain.
Orderin’ Latte, tall.
Buyin’ stuff and all.
Hummin’ and thinkin’
‘Bout Wynkin and Blynkin,
And Nod, Childhood,
Christmases Come and Gone!
Yesterday’s history,
Tomorrow’s a mystery.
Today’s a miraculous Gift.
That’s why it’s called …….
“The Present”. Sooo…
So that’s ALL you get.
But since Love is All,
(And I know you get that.)
I’m sure you’ll.get over it!
Hi 93….yes, poeting is our insertion of beauty ( or at least an attempt to do so) into the really sad and sordid picture of the world that the global corporate media wants us to fix our eyes upon.
Here is what my poetic friend wrote in her annual Christmas poetry ( we had major conflicts this year from Hilary to who controls the venue of group gatherings)
Trust
I look to you and I do trust
with almost all my heart
But let’s be fair, there are some days
when trust can fall apart
Nothing went completely wrong
or completely right
we didn’t have an argument
A tiff or tiny fight
No angels wings on high
Except when I just questioned you,
“What’s that in the sky?”
And you said, ” Now you don’t think that reindeer’s really fly?”
I wanted to believe in you by hoping you were right
Till Santa flew right by me
in a blast of blinding light!!!!!
I so value my artistic, non materialist friends—they keep me human and bring out my best!!!
teranam13,
This is why I appreciate it, even though I can’t write poetry beyond simple Haikus. I have called it at worst background decoration for a civilised debate, better as you say the world as we would like it to be. At best, the opportunity soul-to-soul to transfer the wisdom that cannot be elucidated into words. I am glad this Café had a robust debate on topical issues, one of the best in weeks. But this is the cherry on top, a dessert of poetry from our fine friends in the Love Bower.
The room is dark, most of the rowdy kids have gone home. Just a few souls left in the Café, lounging on bean bags or huddled around dim lamps. One by one, the Deadly Poets rise to take their turn in the Light. The rest of us drift, spirits taking flight across frozen wastes and teeming cityscapes. For an instant, which is all we have, we find Peace.
Almost lights out, see you tomorrow for our morning coffee, the open newspaper, and the lively debate we have come to love.
And, from nowhere comes beauty.

Good. I caught the last cafe train out of Dodge, that midnight special to everywhere and nowhere, the incredible train with indelible pain where hard rain keeps me sane.
Incredible wine from the vineyard vine
Bower flower climbs love army tower
You’ve grown since you left the mind
Just wish you hadn’t gone with power
“Well, the last thing I remember before I stripped and kneeled
Was that trainload of fools bogged down in a magnetic field
A gypsy with a broken flag and a flashing ring
Said, ‘Son, this ain’t a dream no more, it’s the real thing.'”
From Russian Winter West with Love
The old saying – evil succeeds when good men do nothing.
If good men are to do something, they need a certain amount of power.
With no good men, you will always be catching the last train out of dodge.
A lot of the poets and dreamers, all good people, took of like a flock of startled birds when the anonymous troll put up his comment on trolling.
Dennis the friendly menace, you are the first one back.
Many Cafes ago, a commenter posted a link to a movie – “Night Train to Lisbon”. I haven’t been to the movies since I took my toddler children to see Pinocchio and rarely watch any from the web unless someone recommends a particular good one – and good one to me means exceptional non-mass audience flicks, and especially not from Hollywood, Out of curiosity I had a peek at NTL and was intrigued by the first scenes in Berne, captivated by the subsequent ones and was enthralled by the whole. Because the journey that started in that city opens new windows and vistas into the hidden secret of our lives we rarely see on a screen although I’m not an authority on that subject as you gathered already.
But apart from that journey of personal discovery NTL also offers glimpses into the work and life of an extraordinary poet who lived almost incognito in a garret of old Lisbon and who left a treasure-trove of poetry in trunks, hidden from the prying eyes of the world because he did not want to be known. Even hidden and hardly published, he took the weird habit of hiding his identity behind 60-odd aliases, noms-de-plume, heteronyms and pseudonyms.
For the poets among us I post a little sample of his genius, that talent and art of making resonant poetry from simple words, the same way a master goldsmith weaves his thread of filaments to make exquisite filigree arabesques of beauty and wisdom.
The subject matter might endear the author to Dennis!
Amo como ama o amor.
Não conheço nenhuma outra razão
para amar senão amar.
Que queres que te diga,
além de que te amo,
se o que quero dizer-te
é que te amo?
Fernando Pessoa
Although the polyglots among us might get it, here is my laboured translation to prevent the mauling of a robot translator.
I love the way love loves. (Note – “I love” does not mean “I like”)
I don’t know any other reason
to love but to love.
What do you want me to say,
besides that I love you,
if what I want is to tell
that I love you?
