I think there are a lot of people who totally underestimate the professionalism of the Russian Intelligence services. I believe that if they were asked a pertinent question, they would simply smile, perhaps blush, but keep their mouths shut.
Another major error that many people make is that they fail to comprehend that tactical moves, as in a chess game are all interconnected, and if one tactic is stifled, then the player must change and move to another tactic. Too many individuals see an incident such as the Ukrainians shooting down MH17 and then blaming the Russians as an individual event, but the reality of it is that it is only a single move in a much larger game of warfare.
Have people forgotten how the Americans fought the Russians in Afghanistan? One would think so, as they fail to comprehend that ‘their’ man in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden, the younger brother of Salem bin Laden, who was George Bush’s partner in his first oil venture. who died in1993 when his plane flew into power lines.
Have they forgotten that it was the Saudis who handled the financing of the Mujahedeen, MI6, the recruitment and the CIA with the training. The very same people were involved in both the MH370 and MH17 psy-ops, where once the Russian Intelligence foiled the MH370, the tactic changed only slightly with MH17. No bloody wonder the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak, was gifted in the end US $1billion by the Saudi Royal family to cover the costs and outlays of both passenger planes.
For NATO to support the Ukraine after their February 2014 takeover of parliament, there would have to be an excuse, a reason, and that reason was to be supplied by MH370, which was supposed to have been hi-jacked by Iranian ‘terrorists’ using passports stolen in Thailand, and then flown to the Maldives where is was to target the future king of England and his wife. Once that move was checkmated, then three months later we had MH17, and now we are being told that NATO was again ready so support the Ukrainians to takeover Donbass and the Crimea.
Who would have planned such a ‘chess’ move, or moves? Try General David Petraeus. Who else was involved? Try his liaison officer to the FBI, Col. Paula Broadwell, and the FBI’s anti-terrorist’ CIRG, the hero of Mogadishu, James Yacone. Then consider the small time player, Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the murder of Ibrahim Todashev, who apparently relayed information back to his uncle in Chechnya.

And then Rusian go and ask some of your mates in the Russian intelligence; watch them smile and perhaps blush, but say nought of value, and then leave them knowing that the Russian Intel groups are far superior to those of the west.

But NATO is already openly THERE! So what’s with the plan to intervene when they already have. How is UK special forces, Oklahoma National Guard, Baltic Troops, Turkish volunteers, and the whole menagerie of NATO members present, Not NATO intervening? When is NATO officers checking the front lines not intervention. When is the US intelligence flights over Ukraine, monitoring the situation there not intervention? Building and servicing ports in Ochakov for US and NATO ships. The whole Maidan with Nuland and friends (John McCain there too, who brought rivers of blood where ever he went). The only thing that makes it NOT open is the silence on Western news outlets. Americans don’t even know EVERY damn day the Nazis scum and their poor Ukrainian conscripts that have no way out, bomb the civilians behind the lines. They use spotter drones and hit peoples homes, one by one. War crimes left and right don’t even cause a murmur in Western press.
Ugh, you are so correct. Anyone, with working memory must remember the pictures of US “advisors” in Mariupol. This happened just before Putin ordered “STOP” to the advance on Mariupol and removal of Strielkov. Strielkov talking about “black” dead in the fields of battles (before this).
For the record, the CIA had a base in Mariupol from which it ran the SBU communications and internet operations. Probably, a full Signals Intel operation.
They also share a building in Kiev. But Mariupol was always a US base.
It would have required Russian regulars for the Donbass militia to take and hold Mariupol. The local uprising cost most of the police force, twice, and the ruthlessness of the slaughter of civilians (like in Odessa and Kharkiv) gutted the willingness of masses to rise and meet a force of liberators.
The costs in 2014 and early 2015 were too high.
One of the sad realities is Putin warned the Donbass (Strelkov) to wait. Strelkov was a provacateur and began an armed insurrection before the Kremlin could get it thoroughly equipped and led.

These realities are irrelevant in the scheme of things in regard to the unlawful, unconstitutional ‘New’ government and NATO’s plans to seize control of Russia’s military bases in the Crimea, including Sebastopol. However to make such a move, NATO still required a motive, and the original motive was to have been the assassination of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge by the supposed Iranian terrorists. Once MH370 failed, then it was changed to MH17.
Once you tell me that NATO was already ‘waiting in the wings’ so to speak, simply reinforces what I have been telling you.
And as for NATO taking on the defenders of Donbass, why don’t you ask General Randy Keyes and his American ‘Special Forces’ (approx. 180 strong) who lost 10 men including a blonde female in their first weeks of fighting. The only pity was that it was not Victoria Nuland who was at the sharp end.

First of all, I am sure that it’s hard to forget Afghanistan, Chechnya, Dagestan, etc.
Now back to chess game. Greek navarchos Themistocles (admiral) who destroyed Persian navy in Salamina was a great tactician, who knew that Greeks had no chance at winning with Persians on land. So he asked Leonidas to slow down the advance of the Persians so to give him time to prepare Greek fleet (he anded up with about 220 triremes to face the 1200 Persian ships). Anyway, he did just that. Mind you he was not quite correct, because even if he destroyed the means of supplying Persian army, a year later in Platea the Greeks still had to face them in the greatest battle ever fought by the Greeks, where Greeks gathered about 120,000 men (40,000 Spartans) against Mardonios’s 400,000, where they killed Mardonios and destroyed any and all the dreams Persians had to conquer the Greeks. Anyone who studied those tactics, knows who was the original creator of what today is called Sun-Tsu.

Okay, but the real story here is: “Themistocles had to win against an enemy with an overwhelming advantage in manpower and equipment”, the problem which Chinese never had.

One small addition, if I may. Cyclops were not what you are being told. They were big people, taller than the rest of the Greeks. They were Wall builders, made of big blocks, due to their strength. They were known to ware protective head gear (hard hats if you will) with one opening, which made them look as if they were one eyed.

Ancient history is fascinating. I have relatives from Cornwall and one did the DNA testing stuff, and discovered that she is descended from a woman who lived in the region of the Black Sea, which if I recall correctly, is thought to be the ancient homeland of the Indo-European languages. And the Phoenicians certainly got to Cornwall to trade for tin. The there are the ‘Atlanteans’ those peoples who traveled along the coast from Morocco up to the Iberian Peninsula and on to Brittany and the British Isles, leaving megaliths and stone circles littering the countryside behind them. I don’t understand the statement that MH370 was checkmated. Please explain. What do we know about MH370’s whereabouts? I suspect i landed at Diego Garcia, but cannot prove it. Some said MH17 smelled of formaldehyde because it really was the MH370 victims.
How exactly did Russian intelligence foil MH370?

To understand what happened to MH370, one had to read the media reports at the time and understand what they told us. The story of MH 370 landing at Diego Garcia as per Philip Woods from IBM, who hid his mobile phone in the crack of his backside and then phoned was initially put out by Jim Stone, an alias used by Ari ben Menashe, and later corroborated by another alias of Ari ben Menashe, Yiochi Shimatsu.
The CIA has always used ‘deniable personnel’, so to land MH370 on the American Intelligence base at Diego Garcia would demonstrate the total involvement of American Intelligence, and would be totally deniable by the Obama administration. What was even more interesting in regard to this story was that the name Philip Woods was originally absent from the MH370 passenger list, but was later added. and this tells us who was running Jim Stone and company.
In regard to MH17 smelling of formaldehyde, think of it seriously for a moment. MH17 was shot down from about 30,000ft and it was somewhat damaged, and parts and bodies were scattered on the ground, so who on earth then was able to climb into the wreckage and smell formaldehyde?
The first clue a reader obtains in regards to the MH370 was the report that two Iranians using stolen passports from Thailand were able to board MH370 at KL airport. With all the security we have in place these days that event would normally be an impossibility unless of course somebody wanted this to happen.
The next clue is that MH370 vanished during the transition between the Malaysian Air Traffic Controllers and the Vietnamese Air Traffic Controllers. Now the only people on board MH370 who would have been aware of that time frame would have been the crew, or somebody outside monitoring MH370.
And then, once MH370 vanished we had the FBI step in to lead the search for the missing plane, and the only FBI unit with the expertise for such ‘leadership’ was their CIRG (anti-terrorist) lead by James Yacone, but to be able to lead the search from day one meant that the FBI, and James Yacone had to be in Malaysia at the time MH370 disappeared.
And so James Yacone and the FBI team led the search for MH370 in the South China Sea for the first week, while the Malaysian and Thailand military both had radar reports of MH370 actually returning and crossing Penang after in vanished from commercial radar, as well as reports from local witnesses.
And then again on the same day a Saudi passenger liner flies over the Andaman Sea and locates MH370 floating on the water as later reported by one of the passengers, Raja Dalelah, who when she reported what she had seen to an air hostess, the hostess simply closed the shutter on her window and told her to go to sleep. In other words the aircrew of that Saudi plane knew exactly what Raja Dalelah saw and dismissed it, even though they were aware of a missing aircraft.
So, after a week of searching in the wrong sea, the reports come out about the military radar sightings of MH370 and the search now continues on the correct side of Malaysia, but still in the wrong areas, and Australia, America’s ‘deputy Daug’ is leading the search.
So how do I know that it was the Russians that thwarted the American scheme involving MH370? Again that’s simple. An Australian firm from Adelaide, GeoResonance entered the search. They claimed that MH370 was located in the Bay of Bengal, (near the Andaman Sea) and of course the Americans totally dismissed that claim, but it was interesting to note just exactly who GeoResonance were.
“The technology that we use was originally designed to find nuclear warheads, submarines… our team in the Ukraine decided we should try and help,” David Pope from GeoResonance said. What this simply tells us is that GeoResonance is based in Sebastopol and would have to be Russian Naval Intelligence.
And then finally we had the ‘used fire extinguisher bottles normally fitted to a 737 aircraft washed up on the Maldives island of Baarah in Haa Alif Atoll on the 24th March, which as just 50 kilometres from Noonu Atoll where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had honeymooned when MH370 originally went missing. And this had to be another attempt by Russian Intelligence to inform the world, not only of where MH370 was located, but the reasons why MH370 disappeared.
Now this is simply a précis of a much larger story in regard to MH370, but I believe it suffices your requirements for an explanation. Again once MH370 failed then the next move was the MH17, and that is also explained when one looks at the ‘gifts’ from the Saudi Royal family to the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.
Andrew, so what, exactly, was the objective of this operation as you see it? Also, I seem to recall other oddities at the time. Primarily warnings from Israeli intelligence that Iran had seized the aircraft and was planning to use it as a “flying bomb”. There were also reports of an aircraft of identical type and markings at Ben Gurion airport. Are you familiar with these reports? How would you say they fit in?

Please excuse me for being a bit tardy, but I had a funeral to attend.
The CIA/FBI hijacked MH370 at 0121hours, depressurised the plane killing everybody on board within 15 seconds with hypoxia. The plane then climbed to 43,000ft and did a U turn, heading back towards Penang, and then descending to under 5,000ft to avoid detection by commercial radar, crossed Penang and then turned right up the Straits of Malacca.
It was at this stage that the Russians picked the pocket of the CIA/FBI, so to speak and took control of MH370 and landed it near the Andaman Islands, and again, this was witnessed by the military radar stations of Malaysia and Thailand.
The low flying plane seen by locals at the Maldives some hours later was a ‘Jumbo Jet’ which has 4 motors but the missing 737 has only two motors so two different types of aircraft and the 747 Jumbo Jet was more than likely an American AWAC flying to Diego Garcia.
The purposes of this psy-ops are as follows:
Firstly there are the supposed Iranian terrorists who using stolen passports have boarded MH370. It is they who have supposedly taken control of MH370 and then are supposed to cause the plane to fly to the Maldives where they crash the plane at Noonu Atoll killing the future king and queen of England.
This gives NATO a legitimate reason to attack Iran, but just exactly how can this attack take place.
The new illegitimate government in Kiev then grants NATO full rights and privileges to use ‘their air and military bases to launch their attacks on Iran. This now gives NATO a legitimate reason for being in the Ukraine and supporting the illegitimate government.
In return NATO, or at least America gives the Ukraine membership of NATO. Now the Ukrainian government can attack any and all Russian speaking Ukrainians with the full backing of NATO, and if the Ukrainians get into trouble well they can now call on NATO to resolve that problem.
And to further demonstrate this agenda, the British Prime Minister, David Cameron had an appointment to address the Israeli Knesset on the 12th March, which he did so but was unable to give Netanyahu the news of a NATO attack on Iran. Also Airforce 1 was booked to fly to China at the same time.
Both the stories you have mentioned are simply red herrings, as Iran has never acted illegally and has always, like Russia demonstrated a respect for the lives of innocent people, and as for the 737 at ben Gurion airport, well that was simply another used 737 waiting for sale or to be scrapped for parts, much the same as a person would see many identical looking ford or GM used cars in a car yard.
So specifically MH370 was to be used against both Iran and Russia, as well as boosting the use of the Ukraine as a tool for NATO. Once that tactic failed, then there was the MH17 tactic which also failed

I think the theory you describe is interesting to think about. To my mind, the involvement of the Russians needs much more evidence to support it. Otherwise there are other possibilities for the outcome. For example, perhaps the avionics used by the CIA/MI6 (or whomever) simply malfunctioned and the hijackers lost control. Or perhaps there was a mutiny among the operatives if one or more were British.
Come to think of it. It’s interesting that remote control of aircraft seems to be relatively unknown perhaps even classified despite being around since (as I recall) the early 1990s.
Some thoughts for discussion:
Were warnings issued by the Russians before the event (or during the event itself)? To the Iranians, Malaysians or whoever. Recall the warnings issued to the FBI regarding the Tsarnaevs. I recall there were also warnings issued before 9/11. The Russians must have known about this in advance.
Why did not the Russians simply restore control to the flight crew?
Why did they wait so long into the flight before hijacking the hijackers?
Was the plane relatively intact when the Russians landed it? If so, why was the plane not found?
It also occurs to me to wonder why the hijackers bothered to kill the crew and passengers?

The funeral was for the daughter of one of my bands former pipers who had also passed away earlier this year, and as the Band President, I was obliged to attend.
As for the possibilities of someone else, I have considered that, but ruled out the other possible players such as China or Iran. It was the empty fire extinguisher bottles that had been found at Baarah in Haa Alif Atoll that finally convinced me that the ‘unknown’ pickpocket had to be Russia. Neither China nor Iran would have bothered to go to that extent to expose the murders of the innocents on board MH370, but besides that, this was the only clue that demonstrated what the original target for the hi-jacking was, and once you consider the possibilities of another target, there wasn’t really one.
And I had one other clue of which I cannot mention, but GeoResonance from Adelaide, with its base in the Ukraine, or rather Sebastopol, I believe was sufficient, and believe me the Russian Navy will still not have forgotten the ‘Kursk incident’ on the 12th of August 2000, and the roles played by the USS Memphis and USS Toledo?
There is one other minor clue; which country has the pilots capable of landing a Boeing 777 in the Andaman Sea without damaging it so that it would float for at least a day?
And again the 747 ‘Jumbo jet’ seen at the Maldives flying at under 5,000ft and heading towards Diego Garcia. What was it doing there and why? For a start this aircraft was neither passenger nor cargo, as such aircraft would not be flying at such a low altitude. Ergo, it must have been a military aircraft, most likely an AWAC, and possibly searching for something it had lost, before making for Diego Garcia for refuelling.

And again, Russian Intelligence had to have been aware that the hi-jacking had been planned, but they could not have proven it until the event actually occurred. I do believe that they would have informed China so as to avert any unnecessary Chinese reactions, but I think that that was all they could do. However it was totally unnecessary to warn the Malaysians as they were well and truly involved in the plot and had received their thirty pieces of silver.
One of the items of interest came from the BBC Persia station in regards to Kazem Ali and that demonstrated MI6’s involvement, and there are so many more little pieces of information that demonstrate the total planning of this psy-ops.
The one thing though that is quite disgusting is the manner in which the US Intelligence relegates ‘collateral damage’ in their psy-ops, from 911, to the bombing of weddings and other festivities in both Pakistan and Afghanistan, and in the Ukraine, they must actually enjoy inflicting death on innocents, and this is something that I feel I must oppose strongly.

Its perfectly fine that nato planed an operation. I would be mad if they didn´t. You have to be prepared for all circumstances, so when you are chef in nato you asign some men to make a plan. Of course there are different kind of plans. If you have a project you make a short drawing on paper, thats engineering 101. I suspect the same happend here. They made a plan to further understand the options, problems and the conditions of the theater not an actual battle plan that only requires a green light to put into action.
I expect the russians did the same but their palns were proabably more action ready.
The Russians would have countered with 150,000 not-so-polite troops, MLRS and other mobile artillery.
The adventure by NATO would have cost them all of Ukraine the Russians might want to take, and casualties in the range of 4000 200s and 4000 300s, with the remaining 1000 as prisoners.
(200s = KIA, 300s = wounded)
As a side action, Russia would have destroyed the entirety of Ukraine’s military and its paramilitary Nazi battalions. The effect would be Ukraine as a nation would be erased.
Attempting to get to Crimea as part of this madness from Brussels probably would have caused a disintegration of NATO in the near Eastern European nations, any of which who had participated would have felt the kinetic force of Russian response.
One wonders if the Plan was entitled “Poking the Bear”?

The Russians had to have known what was going on when they informed the CIA and the FBI of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s presence in Georgia in early 2012, and consider this;Tamerlan Tsarnaev was not sent there for a holiday, he actually had a job to do, the only problem I have is that I do not know what the job actually was, but that really doesn’t matter.
So for at least two years the Russians know what America is up to. And they were aware of how to handle the situation without giving the Americans or NATO any possible grounds to proceed against. By not openly defending the Crimea, but instead using the ‘Referendum’ and then later with their actions in assisting with the training of the troops from Donbass, the Russians denied the Americans and NATO any real opportunity to use those situations against Russia.
And again, the use of passports for the citizens of Donbass and indeed the rest of the Ukraine was a master stroke. These tactics deny the Russian enemy any opportunity to strike at the real target, being Russia.
But, Larchmonter, don’t lose those figures for if perchance America and NATO are silly enough to poke the bear hard enough, then those Russian troops will cherish the opportunity to repay in kind what has been suffered by their friends and families.

I’m in Lithuania right now. Your hallucination about some wealth over here is severely overdriven. Empty villages, depressed people, in depressed cities. The Ukraine serves it’s purpose for Russia, having more to do with the greater conflict. One would have the impression both NATO and Russia are working together when looking at the larger picture. How could anyone justify Nordstream II or Turkstream, or Blue Stream or the LNG ports or any of these major Natural Gas Distribution systems if there wasn’t conflict in the Ukraine? This is all about what currency this gas sells in at the other end of the pipe.
It’s funny how the pro NATO/EU people always scream about being “free” and prosperous and whatever. Free to what? Work as toilet cleaners and prostitutes in London and Berlin? Prosperous as in selling off all your countries assets to foreigners to pay off never ending IMF debt? In what way is a citizen of the Baltic’s, Poland or Ukraine more “free” than a Russian citizen? What does that word even mean anymore?
It’s like when pro Western Russian liberals scream about wanting to be more like the EU and US. They want 99% of the countries wealth concentrated in the hands of 1% of the population? You want more gender confused children and ethnic conflict? You want Christians going to jail for not baking cakes for homos? You want a private oligarchy running the mass media? You want Slavs being replaced by Africans like Western Europeans are being replaced? You want militant political correctness? You want the government to be the servants of private banking oligarchies with no concern for the people?
Russia has many, many problems for sure but it’s problems are proportional to how Western it already is. So I have no clue what the hell these anti Russia people mean by wanting to be more “free” by being closer to the EU and US.
