    Cannot agree more with you.
I love that. Usually spend 1 to 2 months in East-European countries, I love being in nature.
    Berlin/Germany/West make(s) me sick …

    Nature is heaven’s gift.
If everybody spent enough time in nature, there wouldn’t be any wars anymore.
I love these animals. And who doesn’t love them all from the bottom of his heart is a dangerous thug.

    • Anonymous on September 05, 2015  ·  at 2:16 pm EST/EDT

Of the three white horses, the pair that pull the sled on out sides are pulling with their heads and neck muscles constantly twisted to one side. Maybe they switch places for the return trip. So much for that video. As for RX Nature; best no comment.

  7. Grieved on September 03, 2015  ·  at 7:55 pm EST/EDT

    Beautiful clip, thanks!

As for the OT first comment, I’ve often wondered – is there some kind of software loaded with a recent news story that monitors the feed from this site and posts an irrelevant Anonymous comment immediately, as a diversionary first comment in the thread? It seems too quick and removed from the topic to be done by a human. Never was this more obvious than in this topic.

In general I also wonder how much software is at work as an aid in these troll comments. Is there a program that helps create “word salad” on the fly from topic threads? Something that keeps talking points marshaled in arguments, just to keep arguments going, endlessly diversionary?

Sorry to be so off-topic from such a wonderful piece of film.

    • Daniel Rich on September 04, 2015  ·  at 12:43 am EST/EDT

      @ Grieved,

      Try @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_Internet_Defense_Force

      and @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megaphone_desktop_tool

But, to be honest, there’s a lot more s**** going on out there and not everything has it origins in the Apartheid State’s dark rooms.

    • Martin from S.E.B. on September 04, 2015  ·  at 1:55 am EST/EDT

@ Grieved: At first I didn’t open that article (comment #0), because it appears to link to something from Israel. But now I read some lines randomly, and as astonishingly as it is, so far it sounds surprisingly well (didn’t verify yet if some crap-trap is hidden).

But maybe you should actually read it, before complaining about or ignoring it.
It is OT only so far as it doesn’t refer to nature, but in every Ukraine article it would be pretty on-topic.

The moderation team does an __outstanding__ job here.

    Nature Loves – Love Nature.

  10. David George on September 04, 2015  ·  at 1:51 am EST/EDT

It might seem idyllic and a refreshing change from Smog City, but “nature” in the raw is not so welcoming, say when there is a three hundred pound cougar passing through. There is a reason we humans left the jungle and learned to be farmers and gardeners. And in that vein, in the new world maybe all the underemployed, unemployed and terrorized young people, whose current future is to be classed as useless eaters by the financial fascists, will someday be able to reach up and pick a nice juicy fruit from one of the millions of trees in the new world garden where they will live and play. Ha! People say that money doesn’t grow on trees, but something way more valuable than money does grow on trees: fruit. I would be impressed if the modern industrial complex became so sophisticated that it could produce something even remotely resembling a banana. But then it would have long been obvious that coaxing “nature” to grow a garden for you is a lot easier than trying to build gardens in factories. (Sigh. Back to the “real world”.)

    • Daniel Rich on September 04, 2015  ·  at 4:26 am EST/EDT

      @ David George,

Q; There is a reason we humans left the jungle and learned to be farmers and gardeners.

R: Ever set foot in the Amazon jungle, David?

      • David George on September 04, 2015  ·  at 10:04 pm EST/EDT

        No, I never did.

      • David George on September 05, 2015  ·  at 2:26 am EST/EDT

Were you going to tell me how idyllic it is there? But isn’t that where there are snakes big enough to eat a horse?

  11. blue on September 04, 2015  ·  at 4:51 am EST/EDT

I started looking at it, but stopped when I saw where it was going…
    nature…
One of my cats is ill, and probably has a cancer. She is already on medication for hyperthyroidism.
I fed the kittens outside tonight — about 4 months old — and the mama cat came by to eat to. She is very aggressive now and swats everyone else away from the food — probably related to her being obviously pregnant again. But she was a very good mom for them earlier — even caught several birds for them (even though everyone was always well fed — ‘instinct’.
I sit out with them for a while after I bring food, to chase the flies away. But it can be difficult because of all the mosquitos which try to bite me — there are bugs everywhere. And a lot of things bite, or sting, or are slimy, or attack one’s house. (I recently had to put a new roof on after the final straw of a raccoon tearing it up.)
I’ve also had to take care of infected eyes for a couple, and put stuff on them for fleas, mites, and worms, and take special care to feed the little one (runt of litter) who is 1/2 or 2/3 the size of the others).

It would appear that for the most part, in nature, everybody is trying to eat someone else (and I have to too), and is subject to horrible diseases
    .
Humans, as part of nature, tends to do that too, and is often parasitic, and also displays deception as camouflaged species do, and can be very aggressive.

It’s been very hot and muggy lately, and it never dries out because it keeps raining again, and the back yard smells like mold and rot, with layers of mildew growing on a lot of things. But with all the heat and humidity the weeds are growing up at an amazing rate.

I didn’t watch the video because I’m already ‘depressed’ enough at the moment.
Nature looks a lot better from the outside then when one is caught in the middle of it. This is not my idea of a great reality system — not the way I would design one.

Nature is as beautiful as breathtaking. The more you enjoy, of course, is when the risks are well measured / calculated. Although you never know where you can find a reversal of fortune…. Even in the most adverse conditions, the risks can be well calculated / measured, and you can go back home with some unforgettable experiences / images. There are also many people who collapses after returning from morning walk in its neighborhood or when was going to make retirement papers …..
Everyone, I think, must find their own limits, to some they are very close to home, others never stop looking for…. In any case, it is best to find oneself, anywhere, and when the quiet time come, to have the satisfaction of not having given up anything, if possible …..

I take this opportunity to introduce some great Basque mountain climbers, the Iñurrategi brothers. Félix Iñurrategi died on the descent of Gasherbrum II in 2000. His brother Alberto went ahead, but the last time I saw him giving a lecture in a mountain trade fair, gave me the impression that an important piece of his soul had been there, where his brother stayed forever…..
