The Ukrainian journalist and author Oles Buzina has been murdered in Kiev. He is the latest person to die in a long list of murdered and otherwise “suicided” people in the Nazi-occupied Ukraine.
Most of you probably don’t know Buzina and, if that is the case, I highly recommend that you watch is fascinating interview about the history of the Ukraine which I posted here: http://10.16.86.131/a-must-see-interview-about-the-history-of-the-ukraine/
I have to tell you that I am particularly shocked, outraged and distressed by this murder. Buzina was a controversial figure and I did not share a lot of his views. But one thing Buzina was absolutely beyond doubt: he was 100% Ukrainian. He loved his country, his people, the complex culture and history of this long-suffering land. Buzina was also fearless. Not only did he not emigrate to Russia (like the vast majority of Ukrainian anti-Nazis), he took no security measures at all, he spoke his opinion completely openly and publicly and he never minced his words about the sorry clique of Nazi freaks which took over his country.
Those who murdered Buzina murdered a Ukrainian symbol. They did so deliberately. Make no mistake, this was not a russophobic act – this was a ukrainophobic act, the attempt to silence a uniquely Ukrainian voice.
My disgust with the ugly freaks in power knows no limits today.
The Saker
Saker, it’s to be expected, especially since the Ukrainian Government has DELIBERATELY been MURDERING many civilians for MONTHS. It’s in their evil, satanic nature. Wait till protests/riots start happening due to its ‘austerity’ measures really kick in. The mask is completely off, only the blind don’t see it.
Sorry to hear.
I watched the whole interview and liked the guy.
Saker, I totally agree – I watched the earlier Buzina interview in full and I understood how he was both eccentric but also fully Ukrainian and historically genuine. This murder takes the Kiev factions far below zero – I mentioned before in one of my posts in disgust, ‘then Ukraine should disappear, be partioned, disappear from the world map.” This regime and its outgrowths – the fighting factions that are coming to the fore as there is less to hide in the battlefield – should be destroyed.
If I come back down to earth, however, I realize that the real value of these past number of murders bring the Ukraine question down to a much smaller part of the population, one that will find itself overwhelmed with social discontent and aversion to oligarchic capriciousness. The popular enemy is changing, from one manufactured outside (Russia and Donbass) to the one inside. A process which really has just started, but which even a renewed conflict with Donbass is unlikely to halt.

“As an Orthodox guy, one of the biggest sins is impatience,” he said. “I’m 66 this year. You have some perspective at that age.”
In an interview with Radio Free Europe last month, Mr Kopiski said: “I’m Russian, I’m at home here. If tomorrow we need to go to the front, to face Nato, I’ll be the first to go.”

The telegraph wrote an article
Moscow police raid tycoon offices
and inserted a Putin’s photo.
In the case of killed Oles Buzina none Anglo-Zionist newspapers have inserted a Poroshenko’s photo. This is “western” democracy.
I think the Russian media like RT copy “the western media” 100%.

1. The lessons to be learned from Buzina’s murder are not new.
There is little coverage of Buzina’s murder in the imperialist media. What news is there, misdirects the origin of the assassins.
The outrage of the imperialist prestitutes at this murder, and all the others, is missing.
2. What don’t we know.
There is no way out for opponents of the Oligarchs other than self-defense, which includes political as well as military self-defense.
History documents that Nazis and the pro-Nazi American/Zionist/Anglo Oligarchs do not respect the right of opponents to continue breathing.
Poor -Patrice Lumumba and Salvadore Allende, and millions of others. The Zionists deny this Holocaust.
Self-defense includes (requires) Payback.
The Russians achieved some Payback – on their march to Berlin.
The VISION requires Democratic Republics.
3. Democratic Republics require a people in arms (just like in Donetz and Luhansk)..
For the Democratic Republics! Here and There!

Oles Buzina was truly a courageous, knowledgeable, highly articulate Ukrainian, with an incredibly deep sense of identity with his country. I remember watching the video when you posted it once before – his death will be a shock to many and it really hits home when someone WITH SO MUCH INTEGRITY AND PERSONALITY is violently murdered by “contract killing” – Didn’t mean to caps lock, but perhaps it’s appropriate…

Whoops! That should read: “FYI: You can also use the italics and bold tags in your posts for emphasis, just like HTML.”

Format practice run. From the beginning of the video where Oles Buzina mentions Konstantine Paustovsky, (fabulous writer and journalist) – I was sold, and impressed by this video- the unique and guileless manner of OB.
Oles Alekseyevich, lately there are such terms as Malorossiya and Novorossiya which have come back in usage. When did they appear and what terriroties include
– If speaking about Malorossiya, the matter is more common for our people.
Because… Malorossiya often mentioned in works of Gogol, Shevchenko.
Paustovskiy has such episode when Nikolay II comes to the 1st Kiev gymnasium, and passing by pupils, he comes up to Paustovskiy and asks who he is by nationality. He answers – Maloros.
Kiev, at the same time as Bulgakov, before World War I Paustovskiy finished 1st Kiev gymnasium.
So, it is more or less clear with Malorossiya. Malorossiya is traditionally a left-bank Ukraine without Slobozhanschina.

Reuters labeled Buzina and the other murdered journalist “pro-Russian lobbyists.”
The title of the article: Murders of pro-Russian lobbyists increase tension in Ukraine standoff.
Someone must have changed it because the url (which probably preserves the original title) still shows the word journalist.

Dear The Saker,
It is awful and shows just how far these thugs and murderers will go. His death was even bought up in the Q&A today. The OSCE has come out pretty quickly condeming this death – are they finally waking up to how lawless the Junta are? That country is imploding with lawlessness and death.
Another journalist was murdered a few days ago – Sergey Sukhobok and they claim to have found his murderer. Russia kept going on and on about protecting journalists and now the Junta are killing their own :( . No one is safe.

I can only hope that the Russian Federation is arming, supplying and funding the resistance in all oblasts of the former Ukraine. I look forward to the emergence of socialist/state capitalist/communist people’s republics on the territory of the former Ukraine. There will be no federation. There is no force on earth strong enough to hold the former Ukraine together – not even the Russian Federation. How many will die, how long will it take? Will mankind survive the final depredations of the US Nazis, their EU vassals and Ukrainian puppets?
In the end, if there is a chance for anyone to call themselves ‘Ukrainian’, it will be those heroes who liberated the land and destroyed the fascist state to save the people.
Fascism will not pass!
Saker,
Expect more horrors from Kiev not less.
You might want to review Latin America dictatorships to see how fascists operate under direct US government control. Long history, torture that was methodical and wholesale, murder of Archbishops, priests, nuns, rape and murder of college students, torture and murder of union leaders, etc., etc.
What the f**k is the shock and surprise and disgust?
Philip Agee documented it when he left the CIA. A plethora of books have documented the techniques and policies in dozens of nations on every continent (maybe even the penguins have suffered. That story is yet to be told.)
I expect the murder of infants by the scores soon. It’s normal for beasts to devour the living.
you don´t have to wait for the murder of babies to come. Already Ukrainian hospitals lack the most essential means of caring for newborns, primmies. Even hospitals in the affluent Dnepropetrovsk are in dire need of the most basic items for the most innocent. The government subsidies for single mothers have been halved, these women have to leave their children in the care of grandparents, if they have them, to work at anything available, or leave them in orphanages.
That is the reality of Ukraine today.
The American Terrorist Operation, takes all the resources available, of course we know how that is spent.
“Long history,”
Perhaps an addition of perceived possible effects might add illumination to specifics.
Disappearances have been affected in Ukraine by the opponents since at least 20th February 2014.
For some in Ukraine schadenfreude has/will been/be an option, as a salve to and displacement of frustration, since some targets could/can be characterised as metropolitain intellectuals, and/or
“those who look down on us”.
This half-life of such reasoning was illustrated in another blog by a commenter who wrongly asserted that “Stalin” only/mainly carried out purges on members of the party. This was used in 1937 and 1938 in the Soviet Union.
The metropolitan intellectuals gambit is perceived by some as a tool of enhancing solidarity of, and notions of exceptionalism in, some actors; the Odessa massacres and other activities were also used partly to achieve that effect, akin to blooding in hunting.
Some cultures view killing as a type of orgasmic release which is consistently used as a deflector of systemic challenge. Analysis suggests that this “high” is temporary leading to an acceleration of killing which often blowsback to the folks back home.
The opponents are consistently of the view that “terror/torture” is effective for their purpose despite ample data to the contrary, re-inforcing their immersion in linear logical systems and re-inforcing the likelihood of blowback and lateral challenge.
The increasing intensity/occurence of disappearances appears to be more reflective of knee-jerk fear/need than opportunity or coherent strategy.
The use of terror and destruction is perceived by some of the opponents as a necessary preparation to achieve a fallback position of control by other means. The probable example being followed is Vietnam :
http://www.globalresearch.ca/who-won-the-vietnam-war/172
However this is also a linear strategy in a lateral world being implemented against those perceiving/activating lateral strategies.
This was not the case in Guatemala, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador,
and Nicaragua.
Oh No!! …..it’s you again!

I am reeling in shock. I saw the headline on ICH and immediately accessed this blog.
I had never heard of Buzina until I saw the link to the interview here.
Buzina was so fascinating; his words prompted me to learn more about Gogol and read some of his stories, and that led in other directions. Gogol was from Poltava, the scene of a historic battle won by Peter the Great . . . etc. Buzina was a obviously a great intellectual and teacher, an original. His mind was incredibly quick, he had a great store of knowledge that he accessed rapidly, framing complex responses to seemingly simplistic questions. Or, revealing the complexity needed to understand the complex context behind seemingly simple questions.
The assassinations of intellectual and political leaders is a terrible crime against the country and the future and bodes very ill for that increasingly benighted country. The hypocrisy that either glorifies such murders or counts these deaths for nothing or only as opportunities to calumnify Russia and Putin. It is pointless to say one is disgusted or shocked or even saddened. I guess most of all I am fearful for what these crimes against the polity and humanity the fact that they will go unpunished portend. Es ist unbegreiflich. Was denken jetzt die heiligen Europaeer? Sind sie noch so enthusiastisch ueber die ukraiinische “Revolution”? Truly a sacrificial lamb. So soon after Easter.
The loss of such an interesting intellect.
All tyrannies kill the intellectuals, the artists, the spiritual leaders of the society.
What value do satanists, demonic, psychotic, sociopathic have for any humans of such spirit?
So far they have murdered two well known anti-junta citizens in Kiev this week.To go along with the 8 or more over the past few weeks killed. This is a murder campaign to eliminate opponents that are respected in the country. They must have an enemies list, and are going down it in pure nazi fashion. If people remember, only a few weeks ago the stories of how nazis were put in charge of sections of the Kiev police forces came out.Around then was when the murders began as well.Is that a “coincidence”,or maybe not. A friend of mine in Donetsk reports that the DPR Foreign Minister was a friend of Buzina’s.And had told him he was in danger from the junta.Offered for him to move to Donetsk for safety. He said Buzina just laughed and said he wasn’t afraid. It looks like he paid for the honor and bravery of not wanting to be forced out by fascist thugs from his home.I suggest that any Ukrainian notable opposing the junta move to Donetsk and join the fight against fascism by forming a government in exile.
Sounds like a typical U.S.-backed regime. This is hardly the first fascist government the U.S. is in bed with.
The opposition people murdered in the Ukraine are typical of Jewish criminal mafia/western fascist tactics. IE: gangsters and nazi thugs.
That’s what the zio-west is about now.

Just listened to the Radio Vesti interview.
What a man.
No wonder they were afraid of him. He had to be silenced because he talked back, he didn’t stick to the pacified program, but took the opportunity to say what he thought had to be said, talked back, spoke truth to power and brought forth important facts.
Interesting that the interviewers seem to work on the premise that Ukraine has a right to get cheap gas from Russia.
If their leaders make a crummy deal (after failing to pay for the gas they had already used), then it’s Russia’s fault!
Noteworthy also how openly the interviewers tried to herd Oles—and so openly failed! Pathetic.
Yes, you can imagine them sweating bullets and looking over their shoulders if they cannot get this giant to play a nice gentle game of soft ball instead of ice hockey a la Canadien.
Like coyotes harrying a giant stallion. Or a bear.
To switch metaphors.

Dear Community,
it would be great to have a list of all murdered Ukrainian journalists and politicians since the Junta is in power. Nicer would be also some background information abouch each individual.
Did any of you see such a list?
Comment from my Russian colleague on the assassination of Oles Buzina:
“I was shocked too. The news came during Putin’s annual TV press conference. Oles was killed near his home by two shots behind him. The murders did not even try to hide themselves. It is not the first political murder in Ukraine. The Ukraine’s deputy minister of domestic affairs Gerashenko had recently published a “black list” of names with home addresses of those oppositionists who should be killed in old traditions of bandera’s terror. The deputy minister just refers to these traditions thus stating officially a regime of direct political terror in Ukraine. Oles Buzina and other victims of terror were in the black list.
“I absolutely agree that Oles was very intelligent, very educated and very honest man. He often participated in talk shows on Russian TV, and I was impressed by his intelligence, perfect knowledge of history and literature, and also by a very good sense of humor. Zahar Prilepin, who is the best modern Russian belletrist, once characterized Oles Buzina as the most successful and brilliant writer of modern Ukraine.
“Oles Buzina was not a nationalist. He was a true patriot of Ukraine unlike those nazis who killed him. In my view, to be a true patriot is not the same as to be a nationalist. Oles was a fearless man. He knew that he could be killed in Ukraine, but did not leave his country.
“Mediocrities don’t like talents. They hate talents who want to be independent. And if mediocrities get absolute power, they don’t leave chance for such talents to survive.
“This is very, very sad.
“Many Ukrainians have been zombied by the anti-Russian propaganda under the absence of alternative information. They may believe Poroshenko who immediately blamed Russia in this assassination. ”

Francois Hollande, Vladimir Putin and Oles Buzina were in an Art Gallery admiring a Painting of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
The President of France rubbed his chin and turned to the other two men and said
‘Im sure Adam and Eve were French..yes, no doubt about it…’
Putin scoffed “why do you say that Francois’?
“well” said Hollande, “as you can see they are Lovers, and everyone knows the French are the most famous Lovers in the world’
Putin nearly choked laughing “are you mad Francois’? he went on “even a fool can see they are Russian’
Hollande looked surprised and retorted “how on earth did you reach that conclusion Vladimir?”
“easy” said Putin “Eve is beautiful, and everyone knows Russian women are the most beautiful women in the world’
suddenly Oles Buzina, who had been quietly listening to both men cleared his throat to interrupt them.
“Im sorry Gentlemen, but you are both wrong”
Putin looked at Hollande with a vacant stare and shrugged his shoulders while Hollande distractedly rubbed
his shoe on the back of his trouser leg
“Im sorry Oles but what do you mean”? said Putin at last…
“well” said Oles, “Adam and Eve are Ukrainian”
at this statement both Putin and Hollande put their hands across their mouths to stifle their laughter
Ignoring this Oles went on
“its true Gentlemen, I swear, Adam and Eve were Ukrainian, of this I am certain”
“what makes you so sure Oles” said Vladimir
“well” said Oles “they are both naked and starving and they still think they are living in Paradise”

‘How to change the relationship with the Russian Federation: “For this to happen, we must acknowledge that we made a mistake; that’s all, the whole country, we made a mistake.”
Oles Businov, last interview.
NATO server connection to the murder…
“Having considered some of the circumstances of the death of Alexei Buzina, we are inclined to believe, his killing is one of elements bloody campaign by NATO intimidation of dissidents in Ukraine. Another casualty of this campaign was Oleg Kalashnikov. Judge for yourself. On the Ukrainian site “Peacemaker” published data about the “separatists”, “the supporters of the Russian World” and other enemies..The website “Peacemaker” is in Pindostan in the state of Texas, and registered on Canadian resident of Canada… In the “Server” technical site settings listed – NATO HPWS/2.1…”
