Dear friends,
I was hoping to be able to cope with all the work I have (fulltime day job plus at least 6 hours per day on blog-related issues) but I am slowly “sinking” while the inbox is growing a lot faster than the outbox is shrinking. This is important because a lot of you are emailing me for all sorts of reasons, and I am grateful for these emails and for all the first rate information they give me. In this past, I tried really hard to reply to each email individually, sometimes late, sometimes by a short reply. Now I can’t even do that.
Please consider hat I get about 50-80 emails per day, a lot of them really interesting and important ones. Many are time critical and require a quick answer!
Furthermore, between Yemen, Iran, the Ukraine and Venezuela, stuff seems to be getting out of control everywhere at the same time, which means that I have to increase the amount of information gathering I do and possibly even write more than a weekly analysis.
Something simply *has* to give.
So, here is what I suggest:
When emailing, please indicate very clearly in the subject line “RESPONSE NEEDED” (or use an RSVP tag) and I will reply as soon as I can. If I fail to reply on time, please RESEND.
All other emails I WILL read, I promise, but I won’t reply unless time permits.
Sorry about that, but since I found no way to increasing the day to 36 or even 48 hours and since I don’t have a way of working less (I am, again, barely making ends meet…) I have only found this way to try to finish my work.
I ask for your understanding and continuous support (which is much needed in so many ways!).
Hugs and cheers,
The Saker
Couldn’t you send a resume to RT, claiming a job? or for some highly predictable, independent newspaper? Given the success Thesaker has achieved, I don’t think it would be impossible and I think it would be much more productive if you could make a living from it.
I can assure you that RT would never, ever, hire me.
The Saker
“I can assure you that RT would never, ever, hire me.
The Saker”
Why not?

Probably because The Saker is descended from White Russian parents. Then again, descendants of the Romanov’s are returning to Russia from the West, specifically to Crimea, although I suspect this is a combined MI6/CIA project, making preparations for the day when Putin retires from the Presidency. Then again, anything is theoretically possible. Perhaps The Saker should make an offer to RT.
No, that is not the reason.
I speak about 9/11 and of the AngloZionist Empire.
RT won’t touch these with a thousand foot pole.
Besides, we have different audiences I think.
Cheers

PS: there are no real Romanovs (that is real in spirit) left. And Russia cannot become a monarchy unless she very profoundly changes. My 2cts.
One only needs to look at the British monarch to throw up. I don’t think that I need to itemize why this hereditary power makes me nauseous. They sit on top of the class pyramid without merit and like all other monarchies they have undermined progress by perpetuating class differences. Monarchy is a feudal relic which defines society by class. Merit needs to go to the ones who deserve it not the ones born into it. I hope Russia never becomes a monarchy. Every nation that is a monarchy needs to shed it like a snake sheds its skin.
I’ll second that! Monarchy is just leaching upon the public. It’s no better than what we have already in the U.S. And it’s even worse than that, because even in ideology, it is the very epitome of classism. It is exactly what the world needs less of, not more of.
Dear Eric
“Monarchy” is just a container, a placeholder, not a system. Monarchies come in all sorts of flavors, just like democracies or republics. This is a very complex phenomenon which deserves careful analysis and understanding, not just out of hand dismissal.
By the way, this is also my view of Marxism: it has been a dismal failure in SOME countries, but that does not at all imply that “Marxism is defeated” or, even worse, “Marxism is bad”.
I submit each case should be judged very carefully and with a full understanding of the specific circumstances in each case.
One final comment: monarchy is what most human civilizations (from the big to the small) chose in some way, shape or form. I would not recommend thinking that our ancestors were all not quite as smart as we are today.
My 2cts only.
Kind regards
The Saker
Yes, the Windsor dynasty are not really British in the full sense of the word. The British royal family is said to be German because, basically, of the Hanoverian (Georgian) dynasty. … The current royal family descends directly from these people, and their family name was deliberately changed from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor during the First World War.
We did actually chop the head off Charles the first in 1649, as a result of the civil war, but the traitor Sir Thomas Fairfax, one time commander-in-chief of the Parliamentary New Model Army during the civil war 1642-1651, but restored the monarchy by bringing Charles 1st son, Charles 2nd back to England from France. And we’ve been stuck with royalty ever sincde.
The “AngloZionist Empire” you say. How many billions of dollars loaned by NYC bankers, managed by IMF and WB, did the USSR dispose of by bankruptcy? It was Jacob Schiff of Wall Street that financed the Bolshevik Revolution with $20 million, and seized the Czar’s largest hoard of gold in the world. Is there an interest in how Wall Street has been using embezzled money from the US government to benefit the zionist movement ?

Why would RT not hire you ever..if I may ask?
more salient is whether a living on your level and better on-going, can be turned from the Vineyard?
you would have all the time the blog required in that case. and a fine blog it is indeed!
Take it easy, brother, we are human beings, not machines. A big hug from Spain.
99%of my emails to you don’t require any response.
On the 1% where I hope you will respond, I’ll add the tag RSVP.
Am feeling a crisis of sorts is gonna break re Yemen Iran Saudi USA…..sighs….wonder if Bolton sacked so new guy can take forward in more subtle ways or not the various scenarios more “successfully” in Trumps eyes than Bolton could have……whatever they are…..more sighs.Still unknown who attacked-mined those Hormuz ships some while back…?…where refinery drone attacks launched from……again no satellite evidence or any evidence from USA ?????? Oh boy.
And Ankara Astana conference today too…….had Putin said to Net. keep your IDF planes out of Syria or else…..soooooo many questions and if any can be answered sometime – thank you for your cotinued work..
Hi Saker, I only replied to your inquiry and there’s no need for you to do our interview until your workload diminishes.
I wish you well, take it easy, slow down and don’t stress as much as possible.
Perhaps moving away from the website format to hosting your own podcast would be an easier and less stressful option. Of course you could still have your website but lessen the written load and concentrate on “spreading the message/truth” verbally. Like other podcasts you could select questions from the audience to answer, have guest speakers and even a light newsletter. Obviously a lot of work is involved in running a podcast but to me talking is way easier than writing, so to speak. I’m sure a fundraiser would be successful in being able to purchase the necessary equipment. Having listened to you on the Solaris Report and other interviews, you have a great broadcasting voice reinforced by your humor and your gift of being extremely articulate. A Saker podcast would be a huge success and a relief from your heavy workload.
I have been preaching this (podcast concept) to Saker for years. Good to see others think it’s a good idea.
This is a good idea and I am considering it.
I just need to find the “right formula” to make it work on a regular basis.
Any suggestions are welcome!
Cheers
The Saker
Dear Saker,
it’s all in your mind. You really value the written word… and you are right about it.
But… like other loving fellows of this blogs, I underline the podcast format and “thinking outside of the box”.
In the name of “quality and control” you don’t make the jump.
At this point, as you mention, things are going so fast and expanding so beyond control, the important thing is for you to spread your great and valuable information/views/evaluations beyond quality control.
We have to use discernment and understanding so you can keep communicating.
It’s a two edge-sword… but I can tell that your info and evaluations of current event is more important right now.
my opinion of course…
Don’t sweat the format… copy any good podcast… like Katherine Fitz or Joseph P Farrell…
LOVE and JOY,
the seagull
The best formula for you and your talents and interests is no formula.
Monologue, Dialogue, Interview, Answer questions from the Vineyard, use hot media topics, refute lies and deceptions, Pedantic presentations, Round Table, are some formats that will be useful and fit your personality.
How often and how long a podcast? Variable. (No stress to do one.).
Planning, pre-production: I volunteer to assist initial organization so the ramp up is easy.
Nothing against podcasts, but personally I prefer to read.
I can do it faster.
Then I blast through the comments, as many as I have time for.
I read a lot, fast, and don’t have time to listen to podcasts and most interviews.
My 2 C/ worth!
Meanwhile, ditto on take it easy and keep the analyses coming in whatever form and at whatever speed is best for you—and the site.
Katherine
A tad late in a reply here but here goes …
A deaf person can’t hear a podcast. Written word’s a truly the way to go … BUT … dear Saker … your words (written or audio) will be read/ heard my many.
Take care … and FFS REST!!
A supporter and humbled reader.
I have always considered you a blessing sent into my life, by God, to give me a more honest & better understanding of what is happening in the world. Your sincere concern shown for your readers expressed in the post above confirms my belief. I am grateful for whatever you have time to offer & I thank you for that time.
As always. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I’m also a fan of the podcast idea. All of the podcasts of yours that I’ve listened to were excellent. Ask the Saker community for ideas, I’m sure there will be many good ones.
Don’t know how you do it all, Saker. I’m a retired professor who combs the internet throughout most of the afternoon, evening and late into the early morning hours. With all of the civilisation-threatening crises going on simultaneously, my need to know and understand compels me to do this. Yet there are always bases I just cannot cover within a 24-hour day. My grasp of many issues must remain superficial because of the time constraints. Speed reading simply means skipping over a lot of words, some of which might be critical. You must do all of this plus write for sundry publications, communicate with authors contracted for your website and probably discuss issues with dozens of people via email each day. You are a full-time crisis analyst, probably carrying several times the load of most such advisors in the White House. Carry on, sir, but do not have a heart attack overextending yourself.
You are doing a fabulous job do not go beating up on yourself, best wishes Grant no reply necessary
Play sine Jazz Saker you deserve to cos you’re a hero!
Dear Saker,
As you can see the Yellow Vests begin to resemble more closely every day the image of them first shown on the front cover for The Economist 2017 Year in Review…specifically the portion of that cover page marked by the title The Hermit. The Yellow Vests in that image weird the hammer and sickle.
Please wake to the threat of Macron.
finally to invite and plan fort such an attack you would have to be sure the enemy would limit their attack that would leave you able enough to go on, and regain your strength and come again
I can assure you Sir! that any attack on Iran by the USA will know no limits at all. the USA would pulverize Iran from the start, pinpoint attack to kill, destroy, eliminate as many Iranians as possible..tens of millions, all their millions if the USA could.
I see your argument but I cant make sense out of it. this is war with Davy Crocket rifles. it absolutely makes no sense to invite attack, to allow attack and plan for it in the current world. with current weaponry al of that is out the window of possibility and common sense
a nation has one double option.. to attack, or defend the nation fully if attacked.
Last evening in the USA a national broadcast network (NBC) showed film of disturbances in Hong Kong. Prominently displayed *among the protestors* [of Beijing] were 3 American flags!!! Not the British Union Jack but the Stars and Stripes. I found that very strange. Anyone here–especially The Saker–have any rational analyses of that?
Saker, no reply ever needed,I’m just sending info. Best of health.
thanks my friend, I am already feeling better :-)
Kind regards!
please look after yourself as the first priority
I second this, “look after yourself”.
I’ve been visiting your website for over three years and I’m very impressed with the topics and opinions and analysis expressed therein. Your site offers an independent view from what is obtained on several mainstream journalism sites.
However, I have noticed for a while that you don’t cover events and happenings on the African continent, mainly focusing on Eastern Europe and the Americas.
I will be very glad if you analyse events happening in Africa as well on your site.
Cheers.
Thanks for all the hard work you put in. And most of all, thanks for being worthy of trust.
duly noted, i did not see your mail b4 now.
