Amazing, no? Unless this is some clever Russian-sponsored fake, these comments seem to express a disgust with Poland’s pathetic subservience to the USA.

I don’t know what’s funnier, this or Kiev’s desperate spin on MH17-

Mocking the earlier partial ban apparently was fruitless:
Russia’s food import ban sparks online frenzy in Poland
RT / 31 July
Poles have launched a social media campaign mocking Russia’s ban on Polish fruit and vegetables starting August. People have been posting various photos of themselves eating apples, as Poland is Europe’s largest producer of apples…
In support of domestic apple producers social media users have launched a campaign under the hashtag #jedzjablka — Polish for “eat apples.” Hundreds of photos with the tag have appeared since Wednesday on Twitter mocking Russia’s ban. Some suggested that half of Warsaw, Poland’s capital, will be drunk from cider this weekend…
Perhaps now half of Warsaw can get drunk from cider every weekend.
OT: riots in St. Louis right now. Police state martial law tear gas rubber bullets hitting black protestors, earlier shot unarmed teenager. Resist! Call to all poor people, all libertarians, all people on the left, all working people!
In the streets, fuck the American pigs!
That reminds me of the French Fries in 2003 prior the invasion of Irak without U.N.’s approval.
How do you like THEM apples, Poland?
When I saw the working people of Mariupol stop the tanks with their bare hands. When I saw the miners and mechanics at checkpoints. When I saw the country women with automatic rifles. When I see the pictures of the resistance fighters, they are always smiling, angry, tired and noble . . . at each moment I was filled with emotion, the event I had been waiting for all my life had come. The revolution! It is a war, the last thing anyone wanted. But it came. And – a war that any man can choose the right side of. Easily clear from the beginning. Despite massive media disinformation. A war that has changed my life, hardened my own personal resistance.
Thank you to the Russian people, and Novorussia.
from the USA
‘Freedom’ and its variants had been the American stomping ground for decades . But the US is also self serving . Poles get to learn who their real friends are : russia bought polish apples : poles stabbed russia in the back with Ukraine and US won’t help
Off topic from Polish apples, but an enjoyable read, in my opinion:
Kiev fails to break Militia’s Donetsk defense. Ukrainian Officer: “I have never experienced such shame”
Excerpts:
“Between 2 – 5 militia snipers held the line against three hundred men of “Azov” and “Shahtersk” Battalions keeping them a kilometer away from #Ilovaisk city. Nobody could raise their heads. An ignominious defeat,” – said one of the Ukrainian servicemen…
The soldier added that the Ukrainian army snipers were firing Dragunov rifles with an effective firing range of 800 meters. But the militia didn’t allow them to get closer than a kilometer. (Then) the #DNR’s Army started coming in from the side.
– “We have nine radios per battalion. Neither with the army nor the adjacent units was there any communications contact. I had a group in my cross-hairs while laying in sunflowers but from one to the next was trying to figure if they were our troops or the other guys. Yellow Ribbon marker tape (on our arms) in a field of sunflowers – real smart” he added.
According to him, the militia used mortar near #Ilovaisk. At the second volley, the Ukrainian soldiers fled. One of them remarked that Ukraine’s track team would have been proud of such a sprint.
Disgusting! Freedom apples my foot. I still remember the freedom fries from Bush. Poland still hankers after its old empire in the medieval times. It’s not the same Russia..Get over it, Poland! When you pick a fight, expect some fallout!
I am surprised no one has yet ashed the Poles, “How do you like THEM apples?”
Strangely enough the USA has a recorded a record apple crop this year
The poor Ambassador has his work cut out for him
http://www.goodfruit.com/washington-expects-a-record-apple-harvest-of-140-million-boxes/
This is hilarious indeed. The US and Canada have more than enough apples already. Adding in the no longer exportable fruit, meat, dairy, etc. to the RF market it may take some time before our own supplies run out. Btw: shouldn’t that basket be overflowing anyway? Geez, it almost looks like this one is a Polish joke ripe for the pickin’. With such short notice let’s try this one just for the lulz and borrowing a line from Seinfeld…
“No fruit for you!” ~The Fruit NAZI
Bahahahaha
This pitiful crying out for America to receive the “freedom apples” is merely a shallow attempt to mimic Edward Bernays the father of public relations (control) propaganda. This is in turn a part of a larger engineering of consent using propaganda to satisfy of all consuming self and thus quell dissent as described in the documentary ” Century of the Self”.
Freedom Apples reminds me of one of Bernays first applications of public relations propaganda when he arranged for a group of upper class women to light up cigarettes in a parade and proclaim them to be “torches of freedom”. It was meant to phychologically imprint upon women that they can counter male power by using cigarettes to display their own symbolic penis. This is not meant to be vulgar, just a illustration of how effectively the “masters of the universe” control the masses.
Poor Poles. They appear to be decent people but they look so stupid following the corrupt EU off a cliff.
Meanwhile, the Brits including Cameron who’s zionist family have a long history working for the Rothschild’s financing wars and the murder of innocent people for centuries – still have not released the black box transcripts. I hope Putin and Russia made a copy before handing them over.
Just like 9-11 when the planes and pilots transcripts were never released.
Lmao…Did the polish ambassador just beg the American people to pressure uncle sam to open the door for polish rotten apples?….why ? Mr ambassador, may I suggest you send a letter of apology to the Russian people for your regimes’ stupid fumbles and maybe kiss Putin feet, then maybe just maybe Russia might re instate your export file

Saker,
If you find the following useful feel free to pass it on to your Russian friends:
It is criminal that the OSCE “experts” know nothing about forensic ballistic chemical analysis and anyway do not want to find answers that might show the Ukraine Junta shot down MH17.
If I were in charge I would order full scale non-destructive chemical analysis of the entry and exit holes. As a start high power Scanning electron microscope (SEM) mapping of the metals smeared on the skin of the airliner using energy dispersive spectroscopy followed by argon ion glow discharge mass spectroscopy the look at metal composition vs depth of the smeared metal from the cannon round or fragmentation pellet/rod.
Any intact fragments of the penetrating rounds can be acid digested and analysed using high resolution (0.001 AMU) inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy. The isotopic fingerprint would allow the team to uniquely trace the source of the round to a given batch of cannon shells of fragmentary rounds.
Such combined technology is beyond the scope of any research group in the US, but several metallurgical research groups in Germany, Russia, China and Sweden have this capability.
I would like to report a conversation I recently had with an acquaintance. He is a Polish national who has been living in the United States for many years. Late this spring he traveled to Poland for an extended visit with family and friends. He indicated that he talked about all sorts of things when there, both with people he knew, and people “on the street”.
Without any prior discussion of the subject, I asked him what people in Poland thought about what was happening in Ukraine. He immediately said something to the effect of, “They know it’s all bull$hit.” His estimate was that ninety percent of the people in Poland knew that what they were being told by the media was wrong, and that they disagreed with the government’s position and actions. I asked if those were the opinions just where he visited, and he replied that he was quite confident that they applied to all of Poland.
Of course, this is very much hearsay, and is only one report. Nevertheless, it is an indication of something. These sorts of reports are particularly important because they contradict the propaganda that is prevalent. Unfortunately, they are too scarce. We, especially in the West, need more of this kind of reporting.
I do not wish to imply that popular opinion determines government actions. That it does not is quite clear. However, it does mean something, otherwise governments would not spend so much effort to manage it.
New, “undetectable” American sub detected and tracked continuously by Russia anti-sub forces. The Russians publicized this to rub it in. I imagine this caused quite a satisfying reaction among the Americans behind closed doors. :D

Technologies “Stells” in submarines yet, and what kind of a low noise she was, still it can be found. Boats are improving in terms of noise, but also improved and systems of detection…”
This reminds of a story an ex-USN guy I used to know years ago mentioned. He was serving on an USN destroyer which was doing an anti-sub exercise with an USN sub. The destroyer was unable to find the sub. Then a sailor having a smoke on deck happened to look over the side down into the water below and noticed the sub there, underneath the destroyer. The funniest part was the destroyer commander’s reaction to the news. He got all exited and exclaimed “we got ’em”. :D
(For those unfamiliar, the sub had the destroyer instead, the destroyer’s detection equipment completely failed to find the sub. And the exited destroyer commander? One of those clueless, egotistical dolts the US military is full of, especially as one goes up in rank.)

Well, I don’t know, but I have read the biography of this ambasador and it reminds me the story of the scumbugs around Havel and gang. Exactly the same story and after 1989 they have received the best positions at the government. Good luck for them, now they can beg like a last beggers.
Regarding to the Polish products it was also Czek, Slovak republic, Hungary,Croatia and Serbia who stoped to import of the Polish products way before the sanctions because of the same sanitary problems what Russians now complaining.
Poland used to have a very relable products before the former goverment was killed intentionally to prepare the country for the New setting used by Nato and gang.
They have changed all of the ethical rules and this was the reason why so many countries just simply exit from the business with Poland.
This ambasador can’t go lower with his beg, he is nothing just a laughing bag for the all world.
Hey Poland, where is your pride of your good products, you have sold your soul to the Uncle Sam gang? Then wake up till is not to late!

“…As reported by the British newspaper Financial Times, “in Brussels expressed concern over” the enthusiasm with which some producers in Latin America met Russia’s ban on imports of agricultural products from the EU, introduced in response to anti-Russian sanctions. The newspaper says that Brazil “has allowed around 90 new meat processing plants to immediately start the export of poultry, beef and pork to Russia, and Chile can get “the main benefits from the Russian embargo on European fish”, transfers ITAR-TASS.
“We will negotiate with countries that potentially will replace our exports (in Russia)to indicate our expectations that they will not derive unfair advantage of the current situation”, – claimed “the senior official of the EU at a briefing on the situation in Ukraine on Monday, the newspaper specifies.
The source acknowledged that individual companies can enter into new contracts with Russia, but “it is difficult to justify” diplomatic initiatives of the countries on the replacement of the EU, the US, Norway and Australia – States, who last week under the ban imposed by Russia. In Brussels plan, as noted by another source in the EU, but rather “political” negotiations with the aim of presenting the importance of a “common approach” to the crisis in Ukraine, and no legal claims on food supplies to Russia…”

Why are you trusting what your Polish acquaintance told you? As a Pole, he does not want to make Poles look bad, so it is not surprising that he told you that 90% of Poles don’t buy the anti-Russian propaganda that the Polish mass media expose them to.
The Poles are the worst Russophobes, together with the Ukrainians (who are presently absolutely demented by Russophobia, as we all know) and the Balts.
My guess would be that 70-80% of Poles buy the current anti-Russian propaganda, simply because being Russophobic is a major part of Polish culture. (This is not to say that the Poles do not hate Germans as much as they hate Russians. Who can say which of the two they hate more?)

Wouldn’t surprise me if Obama arranges for Polish imports. The psychopathic US government is engaged in an all out war on its own farmers and ranchers (and, of course, on the rest of the world, as well).

I would love to know what kind of apples Poland grows. Are they the same crap we still call apples in the US? What a waste all the way around of nature’s bounty.Even WA state’s bumper crop will still be priced out of range of poor Americans. I can already see the rotting piles of Polish produce grow. US pigs and cattle are eating offal. The poor Ukrainians are standing at the roadside selling crayfish, berries and homemade pies to pay the electric bill and the richest agricultural land in the world is being deliberately depopulated in preparation for the hedge funds with their fracking rigs and frankencrops. And for the while it lasts in almost every video even in the war zone the crescendo of birdsong in the background compared to the country around here is astounding. What on earth are we all thinking?
Best LOL ever – the vehicles in the Russian aid convoy have St George ribbon ‘go faster’ stripes. Tears are running down my eyes!
To quote MsCreant on Zerohedge
ART OF WAR
Putin knows it, Obama blows it.
There are some more edges to that “Please, any backup Snowwhite anywhere?!” story.
One is the fact that the polanders use, even abuse, their eu membership to the fullest extent – but the euro they didn’t join. In other words: They picked what was advantageous for them (incl. billons and billions of eu aid to build up their country) but didn’t take what they (correctly) perceived as not so advantageous, the euro. Cherrypickers.
And poland, like ukratine, has always been a troublemaker with lots of the people who later went to izrahell or nowadays are “dual citizens”.
So, to put that whole apple thing properly one should say that Russia had carelessly continued a mistake that is probably based in her Sovjet past for years and years – and now finally corrected that.
And the correct stance is: Not just apples. Boycott *everything* from poland!
#FreedomApples is the price you have to pay for #FreedomMercenaries.
Saker,
Judging by the butthurt over this humanitarian aid convoy and the evidence-free insinuations that it’s a ‘Trojan Horse’ carrying arms (and hence subject to attack) based on Kamaz trucks being ‘military type’ (I wonder if any of these idiots like Weiss has ever set foot in Russia or Ukraine and seen a Kamaz backing up to make a commercial delivery), Putin has once again confounded his enemies. The question remains though: now what? Will the convoy get shot at? If so, the pro-Ukies and NATO koolaid drinkers are already insisting it will be a false flag to justify Russian intervention.
Oh, and Julia Davis is out there as usual insisting the Malaysian government never said a Ukrainian jet shot down MH17, which is true as far as it goes, but the real problem is that New Straits Times said its sources said so, not the Malay government. So Julia as usual is lying or only half telling the truth. I wonder what she does at the US Department of Homeland Security all day to find the time to post such rubbish?
Oh and Nora, there’s this for you about the NSA’s most fanatical social media warrior and his resignation from the US Naval War College:
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/naval-professor-resigns-probe-online-lewd-photo-article-1.1900284
They’re STILL trying to insist it was all about the wee wee selfies, and had nothing to do with this alleged criminal spearphishing to ‘out’ his cyber enemies:
http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1s25u5a
I suspect the Navy IG asked for Schindler’s work and home hard drives and IP logs for his taxpayer-funded and personal devices to see if he was running these anon spearphishing accounts on DoD time and he resigned the next day.
For those here who don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s a definition of spearphishing:

and a more lengthy background here:
http://blackbag.gawker.com/the-crazy-emails-that-took-down-nsa-spook-john-schindle-1610203101
Hopefully this will teach NSA a lesson not to run amateurish and illegal psyops against Congress, the press and the taxpaying public out of this nation’s professional military education institutions.

THIS. Especially since Russia has lots of old Buks around in its southern steppe regions and it can blast an old drone out of the sky with one and then compare the fragmentation/shrapnel pattern and chemical signature to electron microscope shots of an actual piece of MH17 wreckage obtained by the DNR/LNR rebels before the Ukies overrun the site and shipped to Russia. Then post the side by side images on RT for the whole world to see. Game, set match if it don’t match it wasn’t a Buk.

The Poles and other EU puppets are reaping what they sowed.
@Writer
I’m writing from Poland. I don’t believe this ‘90% Poles know it’s a crap’ myth. The fact is, our so called “free media” started propaganda campaign of unimaginable proportions. Regarding Ukraine, so called “information” in polish media is affront to anyone who knows anything about this topic. And most of people I know either fallen to this or are trying to avoid this topic. At the beginning there was some backlash in comment sections but our so called “free media” quickly augmented its propaganda campaign in a way that anyone not agreeing with official propaganda line is Putin’s agent. Believe it or not, many people have fallen even to this crap.
I haven’t seen something like this – even old communist regime had enough integrity to restrain of producing such bunch of lies and propaganda. And it is getting worse every passing week. I’m afraid Uncle Sam has designated Poles to be cannon fodder in its war with Russia after Ukrainians will be used up. In other words, Uncle Sam is hell bent to fight with Russia to the last Ukrainian and then to the last Pole.
Frankly, now I’ve lost all loyalty to my own country. Unfortunately, due to overwhelming propaganda campaign in polish media and uniform support for banderistan from all parts of polish political class (two of three politicians who dared to tell the truth were kicked out by our media), there is little backlash against this to organize any meaningful resistance is virtually impossible. Maybe it’s time to bug out from here (thus stop paying taxes that are used to support maidanite nazis) …
Above post by “Writer” confirms my general observation that the Poles – at least in Canada – of all levels of society, education, and income levels, who lived under Communism, have a highly developed “Bullshit Detector.” This does not apply to later generations who were born in Canada, nearly so much.
Re Polish apples – the Russian government agency was critical of Polish apples before this – complaining about pesticide residues on them, and excess nitrates. Some other such complaints may be genuine concerns about food safety – the Russians appear to be trending toward organic and pesticide free foods. For that matter (personal communication) the Chinese government is also trending this way.
The poor ambassador will be unsuccessful in his vain attempt to promote “Freedom Apples.
– too ,many produced in the US. China is the #1 apple producer, followed by US, India, Turkey, and Poland.

As a Pole living in the US it saddens me to see what has become of my place of birth. Poland was wiped off the face of the earth for 3 centuries by their neighbors and yet through that long partition and occupation the nation’s spirit survived. The country was reborn after WW1 to briefly taste freedom, only to be subjugated by the Soviets for another generation. Finally after the CCCP collapsed and the nation recovered its freedom again, it was sold out by its own government again like a cheap whore for a few shiny trinkets.
I still have family back in Poland and the feedback I got was that they indeed believe the propaganda and in their eyes Putin is the devil himself. It’s a very small sample but it is feedback from an old woman who has lived through WW2 and the communist days and has a very good bs detector.
Saker,
At some point, you might want to write about Kiev possibly banning all business with Russia, such as gas transport, and seizing all assets owned by Russian entities. Can Russia live with this? Things are likely to get a lot more serious than apples soon.
Not all Poles are Russo-phobic.
In contrary I have a Russian friend, and he is a very good friend of mine.
It is said that Poles blame Russian for the past.
I don’t.
I move forward, not backwards
For those stubborn Poles, I want to remind them that Stalin was Georgian.
I hope one day in a distant future Poland will finally make peace with Russia.
In a meantime I expressing my deepest support for NOVORUSSIA.
Freedom Fries yesterday.
Freedom Apples today.
France your turn–Fromage de Liberté?
I have been thinking about the food sanctions and their consequences. Some EU economies will suffer badly, but what else will happen? The truth is I dont know what the sanctions will do, so I am guessing.
We know the EU intends to put pressure on some latinamerican countries willing to export to Russia. How will they react? I guess they will ignore Brussels, at least at first. However, the EU is a powerful opponent, so they can get in trouble. They must also deal with the US and its “Bushs legs” [chicken].
The EU will have to destroy or dump its surplus somewhere this year. If the latter, it is good for consumers in the Third World, but not for farmers. I have seen several food riots in the Third World over the years. The sanctions may feed some of the worlds hungry.
If they continue, European farmers must adapt. A big headache for Brussels.
Food producers around the world will face a completely new kind of market, if the EU exports more cheap food to their countries this year. There will be protests and perhaps diplomatic tensions. Perhaps more support for BRICS and SCO. This possible fallout is a sort of sanction, too.
Russia, the Red Cross and the UN send humanitarian aid to Novorussia. Obama apparently insisted on it, so Poroshenko had to obey. It is possible the EU/US will back off. If that happens, Russia has won a diplomatic and economic war without firing a shot.
How dya like them apples?
Espina,
OMG!!! To both the vote, and the song! Aaahhhh, at long, long last! And that song — just can’t stop giggling, no, scratch that, laughing my head off!! Who dunnit? (You did see that Corries one I left for you at the bottom of whatever-thread-it-was a while back?) Oh, that will be WONDERFUL, won’t it? Would LUV to be there for the celebrations!!! ;~)
Paul II,
South Stream plus all the other places on earth (China, for example) can more than take care of whatever losses Russia *might* experience; Europe, otoh, might not be real happy. And as far as assets owned by Russian entities, the Russian entities are Russian oligarchs, not Russia, right? You claim to care for Russia and Novorossiya but tend to look through a strange kind of glass: for Russia, it’s always empty; for Russia’s enemies, always full. It would be nice to see you, well, if not optimistic, Paul II, maybe at least a bit less doomsaying-pessimistic, no?
Approximately one out of every four fresh apples grown in the United States is exported. Fresh exports from the 2012 U.S. apple crop totaled a record 46.7 million bushels. The value of U.S. fresh-apple exports from the 2012 crop also set a record at $1,157.9 million. The top ten export markets for U.S. grown apples in 2012 were:

Thank you! for the song link.
Absolutely brilliant!
Nobody like the Irish & Scots to make one full of joy with their songs!
Thank you again. What a great song, had me singing along!
I can’t believe what is happening! Tell me my worst fears are not to become true!
This is what I read in today’s news:

Russia to Destroy S-300 Weapons Systems Meant for Export to Syria
MOSCOW, August 11 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s anti-aircraft S-300 weapons systems, intended for export to Syria before sanctions were imposed, will be destroyed, the director for the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation said Monday.

So we can see the obvious: Russia first betrayed Iran and now Syria! And why ? Because that is what Israel wants.
I am very. very scared by this developments. The Saker has always correctly called the Western empire “Anglo-Zionist”, and now we can see that the Zionist part of it has very much influence on Russia too. What is next, I wonder? Will Zionists simply change sides? Shall wee see “Asian-Zionist empire” ???
Why does Russia listens to Israel so much ? After what Kolomoisky did in Ukraine also?
Saker, you are the voice of reason, please explain the relations between Russia and the Zionists (including Israel), when you find time for it.
The Wend
Apples in Poland will be ripe for two months. That’s what it is now imported apples.
Majority of Polish society does not participate in the elections because they are aware that the “right” and “left” are two paws Israel.
We are under occupation by Israel, Vatican and motherfuckers with US and EU
btw
I wanted to ask if anyone of you is doing something besides bullshit on the internet? can someone removed the bank account or ceased to pay a tax or whatever? not?
Nora,
For me, a 95% on a test meant losing 5%. You have to compete against those who will get a 99%. In the current situation, we are discussing a war, and wargaming things. I am not being pessimistic, but think Russia can view things somewhat like the late 1930’s at the moment – with the great positive that Russia can focus on Asia and the BRICS, an option the USSR didn’t have. The trouble is that the more prosperous and well-educated within Russia are quite Western-oriented. They can’t even imagine moving away from Western systems, such as SWIFT or the WTO or Apple phones. If you read a list of the things Sergei Glazyev recommends, you will probably be surprised, and ask why they weren’t done years ago. Russia declared war on the US/UK with Syria and the non-agreement over the EU energy package. It is like the Russian government is partly at war and partly not. Same story with taking the Crimea.
Plus, I think many are too sanguine about things, such as the South Stream. This might or might not happen. If it does happen, the world situation by the time it is completed may be quite different than what we see today.
Anyway, I expect Russia to win the war in the Ukraine. There is no choice, and the value to the US and UK is simply to break Russia away from Europe, so they won’t go nuclear. Russia will be forced to do the painful but productive things that a move away from Europe will entail.
But let’s make the deal that you remind everyone of the bright side, and I’ll point out the enemy’s sharper weapons. Or something like that. Both sides are needed.
