Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have launched the long-anticipated offshore pipeline TurkStream, that will deliver Russian gas to Turkey and further to southern European states.
The 930 km pipeline running across the bottom of the Black Sea became operational on Wednesday, with the two leaders attending a special opening ceremony.
Russian media pay more attention to gas pipeline than to the “retaliation” attack on US (evacuated) bases. Indeed they laugh at the minimal scope of damage (as if they had taken revenge against Turkey after killing pilots and ambassador).
And here it is coming – false flag: speculations started about Ukrainian Boeing being shot down by Iranians near Teheran, what was expected. Somehow funny how Trump involved the Kiev puppets in his agenda again! Will Putin have time for Merkel in 3 days at all?
Bravo! This is the real ‘art of the deal’. Mutually beneficial trade and cooperation between two sovereign countries to the benefit of all. This is so different from the boot on the throat and gun to the head ‘diplomacy’ practiced by a few other parties. When nations are so engaged in such cooperation for the good of all they won’t be trying to kill and dominate each other.
I wonder if others will learn the lesson?
This is what matters. We may ignore the hubris occurring in the Middle East. It is noise. These pipelines that Russia cooperated with others, is what pisses off the cabal and what they wish to halt. Turkey despite its bad reputation, will play a an important role in the global economic reset, with regards to gold. We don’t have to worry about turkey going Ottoman Empire ballistic, because turkey will do whatever Russia tells it to.
We can file all these under the Eurasian Trade Zone, Belt and Road projects. The twin projects of Eurasia spearheaded by Russia and China, working as a tag team, coordinating quietly for international matters.
And nobody here noticed. The coup attempt in Turkei some moons ago was specifically to stop this pipeline. It didn’t work and now gas is flowing. The only fly in the ointment is Bulgaria is dragging her feet in completing her end of the distribution complex, but so be it. This is unstoppable and is just the beginning. Russia says she will finish Nord Stream 2 starting in late spring. Russia just opened the huge complex to Katai and that massive project is just the beginning, more lines will be constructed to serve the ever rapacious appetite of Katai for energy.
In the meantime, Germany and the rest of eu are shutting down their nuke and coal fired energy plants ‘because of the environment’ and will shortly be screaming for Russian gas, don’t matter what Foggy Bottom says or does. One chilly winter with factories shut down for lack of gas and eu might grow a spine and tell Uncle Sugar to pack sand as eu starts on North Stream 3.

US sanctions put a dent on NordStream II, as the Swiss company operating the pipe laying ship stopped working. Sure it will get resolved somehow on time.
Poland and the Baltic countries don’t like it but there is nothing they can do about it. The European industry and it’s lobby will eventually get their way. They can meanwhile have their “exceptionally” premium priced LNG.
