No matter how many times President Putin says anything, it is always the opposite that is presented in the MSM, so we will rely on his answers alone.

Thank you for the video – quite interesting analysis of this interview. I have read part of the interview on FortRuss and was not surprised by the quality of President Putin’s answers – they are always full of common sense, honesty and truth – in other words, what we always get from him.

  2. Larchmonter445 on September 08, 2016  ·  at 2:20 am EST/EDT

Wonderfully entertaining tour through the heart of the interview in question.
The Brit twit so overmatched by Putin.

    Thanks for the subtitles.

Nukes for dessert. A persistent Russian dish, served up frequently when the fools come to dinner.

Why don’t any of them get it?

  3. Ann on September 08, 2016  ·  at 3:08 am EST/EDT

Unfortunately the comment about Hungary and so forth and maybe a different end to WW2 – was entirely lost on me, as I don’t ‘get it’…

this information and the last comment is so subtle – perhaps this is a Russian trait.

    • Uncle Bob 1 on September 08, 2016  ·  at 3:33 am EST/EDT

He meant that the Romanian and Hungarian borders were among others that changed as a result of WWII. So if the West wanted to talk about Russia’s borders that changed with WWII. That would open the discussion up to all the border changes from that war.

      • Anonymous on September 08, 2016  ·  at 4:03 am EST/EDT

Actually, ALL of Hungary’s borders were changed.
There is a quick primer of it on the following website:
        http://www.hunmagyar.org/tor/hungaria.htm

We are the only nation in Europe completely surrounded by ourselves.

        • Uncle Bob 1 on September 08, 2016  ·  at 4:24 am EST/EDT

True, but most of those changes are from WWI. He was talking about the changes in borders from WWII.

          • Anonymous on September 08, 2016  ·  at 7:09 pm EST/EDT

Not most, bit less, that half, since The Second Wienna Decision(underwritten by herr Hitler and mes. Moussolini has corrected those errors commited by the Versailles dictat.

        • ioan on September 08, 2016  ·  at 5:25 pm EST/EDT

The only sad thing is that when a hungarian from Transylvania commits a crime in Hungary, you call him “romanian” , being ashamed, you blame the other, is that fair ?

          • Anonymous on September 08, 2016  ·  at 7:05 pm EST/EDT

No, we call them gypsies, which they statistically are, which I am sure you are aware of, since you have at least the same ammount of blessing coming from their flavour diversity.

Athough, I have met a few Hungarian nationals, that had picked up some questionable habits while living under your “hospitality”…

            • ioan on September 08, 2016  ·  at 8:52 pm EST/EDT

I don’t know what you mind with “hospitality” and I did’n now that the Romanians are called gypsies in Hungary either. Man learns always something new here. But I know that there are many Hungarians who live or work in Hungary but they were born in Romania (Transylvania)

        • ioan on September 08, 2016  ·  at 6:13 pm EST/EDT

I never saw in Austria in any office a map with the great Austrian Monarchy on the wall, but in Hungary, the great Hungary map is very appreciated in many offices. I understand by the way the painful feeling of loss, but hoping for a new great Hungary is logic ? Putin is right, nobody should question the borders following the ww2, the last one who did this by questioning the treaty of Versailles was Hitler, and now many in Hungary are dreaming at the same thing, putting in question the same treaty. It is a dangerous way, such re-evaluation could be obtained only by war. In case of Hungary or other Eastern-European country means war against Russia. Will you like that ? Or it may be some, who think that in a miraculous turnout, “playing” with Russia, she will grant every country the lost territories again. Very turbulent mindsets.

          • Anonymous on September 08, 2016  ·  at 8:19 pm EST/EDT

            Actually, Ioan, you are misinformed.
The Hungarian delegation to the Versaille treaty talks only asked, that regarding to the Wilsonian promises, one of his, namely: the one concerning the self determination of populations be honoured, by the method of a popular referendum monitored by the victorious powers.

That was it then and remains today, since we do not wish to govern territories with alredy alienated populations.

There are large, large swabs of land, especially along the borders, which remain wastly Hungarian. There are a few million Hungarian nationals, whose citizenship(and the niceties, that follow) have changed four!times in their lifetime, while not having travelled further, than 20 kilometers from the place of their birth…ever. Must have been nice for them ey?

As to revision of borders, would you call Abkhazia, Kosovo, Tirol, or let’s say…Crimea results of turbulant mindsets? Or should I mention GDR?

            TURBULANT mindset indeed…

            • ioan on September 08, 2016  ·  at 8:45 pm EST/EDT

I think you missed the most important part : the revision of borders. As Putin said, is a Pandora box, if somebody is open it, then war is assured. To dream is good but we have to look at the realities.

              • Anonymous on September 09, 2016  ·  at 8:08 pm EST/EDT

                The reality is:
Germany as known today to many is not what Germany actually still IS.
As the better informed know, the socalled german “state” of today is the colonial administration of the western allies of the world war- which is still to end by a peace treaty by the way( still to the FIRST WW!!!)- on the larger part of the German Reich or Germany.
This is stated as such in the statute of occupation, the Basic Constitutional Law( NOT Constitution!) FOR Germany by the western allies and congruent with international law, especially the Hague Conventions relating to war on the land.
Germany never lost the eastern territories( not even a bit as the Dictate of Versaille broke international law!), but they are currently administred by Poland and Russia( to stay on moderate ground, not concerning German- Austria for example!).
This is in no way a political statement but a LEGAL one.

Putin knows this quite well, thus he spoke of the german eastern territories, because the western allies are scared to the bone to see that issue come to light, because their whole NWO- scheme is dependent on the current status quo and the GERMANS not realizing that en mass!
Because if they know, they can finally demand the peace treaty, the end of the occupation would follow, the global war of the NATO troups would have to stop and the UN would be dismanteled. It was built as a result of the war against the axis powers Germany, Italy and Japan, although it changed name a bit after the alledged “end” of the war- in fact only a seizefire, which the Americans broke hundreds of times globally without EVER declaring war( because it´s been going on still!) in the decades to come as they are still: the leading nation and commander-in-chief in the World War and all the others that joined them up to 1945 are their underlings.
                Go figure!
Study the SHAEF laws and you´ll be wiser…

                • ioan on September 10, 2016  ·  at 8:40 am EST/EDT

I think I know every detail regarding that time and of course, mostly Putin does know, that’s why he said what he said about Pandora’s box.

    A different sort of meet:

Russian SU-27 Jet Intercepts US Navy Spy Plane Over Black Sea

    https://sputniknews.com/world/20160907/1045068086/russian-jet–intecept.html

Though RT has a much better report on the pindo (really israeli) provocation:

US spy planes intercepted near Russian border had transponders off – Russian MoD

    https://www.rt.com/news/358564-us-spy-planes-intercepted/

In fact the Sputnik article is a good example of the sort of damage the zionist 5th column does to Russian media.

This is OT, but provides some interesting material on Philippine-american differences, among other things.

US-Philippines Row Widens: Philippines Reminds US it is a Sovereign Nation

    http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/2016/09/us-philippines-row-widens-philippines.html?m=1

“Thus, the US seeks various means, generally feigned concern regarding “democracy” and “human rights,” to pressure respective nations back into line. Failing that, increasingly confrontational tactics are employed, including US support of subversive, even violent political opposition groups, economic sanctions and even terrorism. The latter of these tactics will likely be visited upon the Philippines for its latest and most dramatic act of defiance yet, both more frequently and on a greater scale through the use of terrorists sponsored by the above-mentioned US ally, Saudi Arabia.”

Czech Major General in reserve Hynek Blashko in an interview with Parlamentní listy commented on the possible conflict between Russia and NATO and replied with an anecdote in which Obama and his generals are asking the French, the Germans and the Chinese when it is the best time to attack Russia.

      That was great,the joke especially:

“On the Internet goes an anecdote Obama and his generals in the Pentagon debate and can not agree on when it is best to attack Russia Finally, they asked the French The French say:…” We do not know, but certainly not in the winter. The matter will end badly. ”
Then they decided to ask the Germans. The Germans responded: “We do not know, but definitely not in the summer we tried.”. What to do?
Someone offers to ask China, as he advanced, and always offers new ideas.
They asked the Chinese when it is best to attack Russia? The Chinese answer: “Right now, Russia has begun to build a” Power of Siberia “,” Turkish stream “spaceport” East “, the bridge to the Crimea, and in the near future, Russian want to upgrade the Baikal-Amur Mainline, building new sports facilities for the World Cup and athletics, plan production in the Arctic … Well, now they really need as many prisoners as possible! ”.

There is also a Polish joke on the very same subject.

A Ukro, a Balt, and a Pshek applied for a job at the Pentagon. The recruiter asked each supplicant in turn:

–When is the best time to attack Russia?

–Whenever our beloved American liberators feel like it,

said the Ukro, swooning at the recruiter’s feet.

–When our beloved Swedish friends tell us to pack up and leave,

said the Balt, ecstatically waving a Swedish, a US, and a NATO flag.

The Pshek appeared to feel somewhat uncomfortable with the recruiter’s question, and replied hesitatingly

–Well, if that’s what I’m supposed to take responsibility for then I would say the next time my government flies to Smolensk. It needs all the protection it can get!

  7. James lake on September 08, 2016  ·  at 7:41 pm EST/EDT

Great summary of the actual interview.

Bloomberg and the MSM are never interested in what the president actually says – the video is right they are looking for headlines to play into their agenda.

That’s why I am glad the internet exists and blogs and commentators who translate what is actually said so we can hear for ourselves and not what the MSM tell us The president said.
We don’t have to wait years and years for the true words to come be revealed – we can access when it is relevant and current.

  8. Bill Warrick on September 09, 2016  ·  at 9:07 pm EST/EDT

Putin tells them where to get off and then they murder his favorite driver. They want to kill him because he will not give them Eurasia.

  9. Suzanne Majo De Kuyper on September 11, 2016  ·  at 9:26 am EST/EDT

The unusual predatory questioning of John Micklewaith, the Bilderberg Group permanent representative, chief editor of Bloomberg was met with enthusiastic, instant put downs by the President of the Russian Federation illustrate unequivocally the utter weakness of the Bilderberg model of controlling the failing continent of Europe having allowed itself to be caught in US NATO, IMF clutches and lies from the very end of WW11.

The forced exit of the the United States President from Airforce One on the tarmac of the Hongzhue Airport from the uncarpeted back door to get to the Chinese hosted G20 Summit was no snub. It was a very serious warning.

This angry “interview” in order to trap Russia into humiliating itself in Western propaganda terms actually explains why China made President Putin the Guest of Honour at the Hongzhue G20 global summit. A deadly serious, yet joyful, announcement RC is here to stay, changing Western wars to Eastern peace. American hegemony ejected.
