As most commentators had predicted, Putin has agreed to exchange Nadezhda Savchenko for 2 Russians citizens accused by the Junta of being terrorists. To be honest, I am deeply disgusted by the fact that this rabid Nazi was allowed to walk free. Of course, I understand that IF the two Russians captured by the Ukies were really any kind of intelligence officers, Putin just had to obtain their release. I am personally dubious that Alexandrov and Erofeev are really officers of the 3rd Spetsnaz GRU Brigade (which is what the Ukies claim), but that does not mean that this is impossible or even unlikely. The GRU has most definitely deployed special forces in the Donbass region, so I would not dismiss this version completely.
Whatever may be the case, these two are now reunited with their wives:
We will never know why the Russian side has made such efforts to get Alexandrov and Erofeev back home. They – and their families – claim that they were volunteers, that their “confessions” were extracted under torture and that they resigned from the Russian armed forces before going to the Donbass as volunteers.
Maybe. Maybe not. We will never know for sure.
The Russians did a superb PR job presenting the decision. First, they showed President Putin receiving the relatives of the two journalists murdered by Savchenko asking for a pardon for her (not out of a sense of sympathy, of course, but to obtain the freedom of Alexandrov and Erofeev), and then the Russian media showed the footage of the wives of the two Russian reunited with their spouses before showing footage of Savchenko back in Kiev. Fair enough.
Still, letting Savchenko go really bothers me. First, she is truly the perfect symbol of the “Banderastani” Ukraine the Nazi junta is trying to build. Simply put, she is one nasty and clearly rabid character. Just listen to her (no translation needed):
Then take a look at the next video. Check out Savchenko’s body language and demeanor while Poroshenko makes his speech (again, no translation needed).
Now, I am not a psychiatrist, but to my admittedly unprofessional eyes she looks like a rabid pit-bull on a mix LSD and crack cocaine. She definitely belongs in some kind of cage. And letting that kind of person go is plain wrong unless there is a very good reason for this.
Was there a very good reason in this case?
I don’t know (and neither does anybody else).
In the footage above Savchenko is literally oozing hatred and fanaticism, she also seems, well, simply “mental” (is that only me or do you also get that feeling?). By the way, Savchenko also acted pretty crazy during her trial in Moscow (of course, this was not reported in the western press). Upon arrival in Kiev, she left the aircraft barefoot and in a rather bellicose mood. And while this does not prove anything (barefoot walking is not listed in the DSM) this adds one more element to a rather crazy looking creature (sorry, I cannot call that a “lady”).
[Sidebar: For the record, the Russians did submit her to a psychiatric evaluation and found her to be sane. Looking had her behavior I wonder how the Russians came to this conclusion…]
I mean – there are some really nasty characters in the Ukie junta, folks like Gerashchenko or Turchinov, but Savchenko also looks as crazy as Liashko, but also just nasty in a way that even Liashko is not. No wonder she tortured an Orthodox priest herself.
What is certain is that this creature will generate a great deal of “action” in what is left of the Ukraine. The poor Ukie oligarchs must already be getting cold sweats and panic attacks at the thought of dealing with this harpy. Because, make no mistake, Savchenko is the real deal through and through – a bona fide Nazi, a rabid hate-filled nationalist, and a person with the ideological “purity” of a Trotsky or a Himmler. I don’t see Savchenko putting up with the current oligarchy in power.
So maybe her liberation is Putin’s poisoned gift to the Ukraine? After all, it is the current junta, and the oligarchy which supports it (more or less), which turned Savchenko into a national hero (the Ukies compare her to Joan of Arc – I kid you not!). So let them “enjoy” their hero, no? Let her screaming and hate-filled face become the symbolic face of this regime and of what is left of the Ukraine. That is only fair.
Of course, the usual Putin-hating crowd will present that as “yet another concession to the West, yet another proof that Putin is a pushover and that Russian is ruled by the Zionists”. Since they pretty much say that every time Putin does anything, I basically ignore them.
All in all, I am feeling rather nauseated by this entire deal. I hope that the junta chokes on that “hero” of theirs.
The Saker
Demonic possession? Look at her eyes. How else can you explain the willing torture of an Orthodox priest.
Sometime I wonder if most of Ukraine is possessed by evil demons.
whether they realize it or not, but their real boss is, of course, Satan.
No doubt in my mind at all
(apologies to the secularists. not)
For the secularists, it is a a form of psychosis. I call it Ukieosis.
You see the same psychosis everywhere Uncle Satan infects a society. These Ukronazies are no different from the butchering, blood-thirsty scum who have run Latin America for the Boss in Mordor-on-the-Potomac for 200 years (and who are being returned to power across that unlucky continent)or vermin like Mobutu, Kagame, Mubarak, al-Sisi, Saddam, the Shah, Zia ul-Haq, Park, Suharto et al, who have slaughtered millions while ‘allies’ of the USA. The Yanks, like the Israelis, know just how to pick out the truly vile psychopaths, then they train them up in the USA, in Ivy League colleges and Wall Street for the technocrats, and the School of the Americas for the butchers who lead the death-squads, that great US cottage industry. And the US is relentless. They waited twenty years to destroy Venezuela, murdering Chavez on the way, they waited forty years to re-introduce the fascists to Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine and the Baltics after WW2 and they will wait until Putin goes, too. There is only one thing that will stop US Evil, and its a race between ecological collapse, internal decay and thermo-nuclear war to provide the means.
There could be a revolution. Just saying.
spot on, and humorous in a sad and bewildering way. The only exit is catastrophe
Well said, Mulga! As a former inmate of the USSA asylum/re-education/prison complex (I grew up and lived there for 60+ year before escaping) I couldn’t have said it better.
I see her kind all the time within the ranks of Trump protesters, nothing special, bit of lgbt mixed with scyzo. Nice thing about her, she is the last offspring of that bloodline – for obvious reasons.
Getting our fellows back instead of keeping this rabid dog on leash and fed for the rest of it’s life was the best deal the Prez has ever made. We can put it out of it’s misery anytime anyway, methinx the saker hit this one on the head.
Watching both videos of her bothered me greatly! Having worked in the mental health field for a number of years I was reminded of several blatantly psychotic persons I knew back then, and they were not as scary as Savchenko. Glad Russia is rid of her. She could infect an entire asylum!
You may be right. The hate will consume them.
Jaroslav, hate certainly consumes the hater, even when the hatred is justified and directed at something Evil and deserving of hatred. It’s just the stress response, in the case of justified hatred. But purely malignant hate, the hatred of the psychopath to all that is different from it, like Ukronazi and other racist hate, destroys its victims first unless they defend themselves successfully. A perfect and tragic example is Israel, long consumed by a triple-headed Cerberus of hatred. First the Judaic hatred of the goyim, the very root of the religion, second the European settler colonists’ hatred of the indigenous inhabitants who must disappear, one way or another, if the White invader Herrenvolk’s (in this case)God-ordained lebensraum is to be ‘redeemed’ from the ‘two-legged animals’, and third, the understandable hatred of the world that grew out of the horror of the Nazi Judeocide.
Even if it is impossible to forgive or support Israel’s aggression, duplicity and barbarism, it is at least understandable. But, as we can see, Israeli hatred has only grown and grown over the years, in intensity and breadth, particularly as the world’s sympathy after the Nazi crimes has faded and been replaced by revulsion at the crimes against the Palestinians and Israel’s neighbours. That, unfortunately but predictably, has only deepened the hatred of the Israeli Right and Israel’s ruling elites, personified by the cut-rate thug and sub-fascist Netanyahu, Things were worsened even more by BDS, which the Jews are having their goy political stooges in the West ban and criminalise (so much for ‘Freedom of Opinion’)and the rise of a resistance movement, Hezbollah, whose victories over Israel have burst Israel’s narcissistic bubble of ‘martial valour and invincibility’. As a result Israel has just grown more belligerent and crazy still, Netanyahoo now looks like a moderate’ compared to his Cabinet, and I fully expect some gross miscalculation, soon, say an attack on Iran or Lebanon, particularly if their allies in Syria are defeated. Hate makes you stupid.
That is precisely the impression I get of her. I’ve never watched a video of her in action but just from still photos, which are scary enough, I’d say that is one dangerous psycho.
Certainly, without doubt, this “thing” called Savchenko is as demon possessed as the cave man of the Gadarenes who was called “legion” in the New Testament. This man, as is she, was demon possesed to the toe nails. The difference being, in my opinion, she is beyond redemption.
Never say never, Floyd. While demonic possession is readily apparent in her, the power of Christ over demons is well known; one of the most rabid anti-Christians ever was Saul of Tarsus and it could be argued his fanaticism was demonic and tireless until he had his “come to Jesus” moment. He ended up writing most of the New Testament epistles.
Amen
Future St. Nadya of Kiev? per catholic church?
well, they did “beatify” or “canonize” no less demonic figures like Stepinac or Kunzevich…
So, why not?
“Saint Nadya”
Sounds good to the Ukropapists for sure..
Problems are Natoists not Stepinac, is it difficult to understand for a Serbian nationalist?
I have a….hypothesis….not really a theory so….
what if this release is a long play involving the new investigation commission on MH17 involving Malaysia and Russia. As in to clear the terrain from needless eye diverting things like #release #poor #nadya #evil #dictator #putin # twitter, when and if they drop the bomb that challenges the current MSM narrative. And also, introducing a free radical back into the Ukie midst.
Александре,
That line of reasoning reminds me of Baldrick’s (a sole descendant of a pig-farmer & a bearded lady) legendary line “I have a cunning plan!“, from the legendary episodes of legendary “Blackadder”:-)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsXKS8Nyu8Q
Putin is so cunning. And even though it might strike everybody as totally idiotic, He must have had something cunning up His sleeve. Lest any blogging mortals dare second-guess His cunning.
Amen.
She’s something of a mere little lamb compared to Saint Olga… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olga_of_Kiev
Вера, Верочка,
That’s why Olga is Saint Olga, Святая равноапостольная Ольга :-) The essence of religion, the more illogical and preposterous something is, the more believable it is (wasn’t it Tertullian who declared “Credo quia absurdum est”?). As you can see, Orthodox are not far behind Catholics in their profound humanity and compassion… But look at it from the bright side: Ольга was at least devoted to her husband ;-) (And Надежда Савченко hasn’t even got a husband … by her entire appearance and demeanour she is obviously a d***.)
Never judge a book by its cover. :)
For example, when Savchenko was not furious and before her capture and incarceration by Russia:

Anti-Russian Sanctions to Be Lifted After Full Minsk Deal Implementation.
EU economic sanctions against Russia will remain in place until the Minsk agreement on Ukraine is implemented in full, President of the European Council Donald Tusk said.

Well Porkie and that imbecile FM are now trying to use this to get other Nazi’s released in Russia – under the “Minsk Agreement”:
http://tass.ru/en/world/878434
Unfortunately for them – terrorists from the Chechnyan war over ten years ago can’t be added to the prisoners list for Minsk – boy they really have lost the plot. They are now refering to it as the “Savchenko list”……..US finger prints are all over this.
Good luck – Russia will not release Chechyan war criminals and won’t accept them on the prisoner list for Minsk – Porkie will now have the rabid Nazi’s on his back for publishing this – when it doesn’t happen…..the guy really is delusional……
Unfortunately, this one really does appear to be a “concession to the West.” I can’t think of any other possible reasoning for it, other than trying to gain a few diplomatic bargaining chips. And if that is the case, Russia has made a major mistake. Western leaders can not be reasoned with, they only understand brute force. When they detect a weakness, they attack. Hopefully the DPR/LPR are well prepared for any new provocations.
I can’t think of any other possible reasoning for it
1. Freeing GRU officers
2. Destabilizing the Ukraine
3. Removing a “martyr” from Russian jails
4. A combination of all of the above
or, perhaps,
something that we don’t know.
but if you think that Putin seriously believes that this will get him browny points with the Ukies, the EU or the US – then you think that Putin is a fool. I don’t :-)
Cheers!
The Saker
There really is no doubt that Putin would’ve done it for the illusion of “gaining points with the West”. Rule that one out.
Excluding all the hype/posturing resulting from the release, Savchenko is easily crazy enough that her life expectancy is a few years at most. We might see her back in the front line soon enough, and that might be ideal for Porky as well. Porky can get rid of her, give her a heroes burial and go on ranting about Crimea. Alternatively she could be sent on a European/USA propaganda tour but hopefully she goes missing on a hidden crusade before someone figures that out.
Her behavior sure is weird. LIke she is somewhere on the autism spectrum and not to far from having to bang her head on the wall or whirl in circles.
If she is slated for being sidelined in some way, it might be a good idea for Putin himself to call for giving her a long rest in a sanatorium and 24-hour protection because of her obviouisly questionable health. The real reason being to head off any anti=Russian PR campaign built on offing her and then blaming the Russians. Then Putin can always say, we told you to protect her—not from us, but from not getting the care she obviously needs as an unstable individual (he doesn’t have to say “psychopath”) being used for propaganda.
It seems to me that getting this maniac out of Russia was a good idea. I see no way to make positive gains from keeping her in Russia. Far better that the whole world see what we have just seen. She may be rabid, but she is also pathetic and clearly needs some kind of hospitalization and meds to calm down the seething head wagging and teeth gnashing.
Katherine
Today Putin replaced the Director of Russin Federal Security Service.
… Coincidence?
Unfortunately, they don’t understand brute force either. For the elite, there is never a price to pay.
It does seem that Savchenko was more useful to the junta in prison than free. For this reason, I wonder if part of the deal wasn’t that the SBU would whack her at a later point. Everyone wins: Russia gets its guys back, the junta gets both its martyr and a chance to blame Russia for killing her before the truth about her becomes widespread.
Savchenko reminds me of the fake war hero from the movie Wag the Dog… except instead of raping a nun, she tortured a priest.
There is a chance this can backfire on Russia I’m afraid. Since Savchenko is of no further use to the junta alive, she can be of use as a “martyr.” I worry she will be killed (obviously, I’m not worried about **her** being killed) by Ukie special services followed a media blitz saying the Russians did it. Western MSM will happily chime along. Then “St” Nadya will be out of the Junta’s hair and fro. the grave will continue her patriotic service.
There is the possibility that the current junta doesn’t have the credibility to pull that off amongst their own Nazis, but I can see them trying if She becomes too much trouble.
Please don’t call it a she. I’m sure Oblyat’ will build a separate toilet for this PoS. It’s impossible for me to watch the video. I would have to behead myself afterwards.
She was used as martyr, already. Putin’s Politburo made good decision. Life of these two Russian soldiers is way more precious. It is also moral victory, not only great PR move.
Common citizens of Ukraine don;t care about her. They are worried about paying bills, loosing pensions etc. Faked martyrs won’t help loosing Ukraine.
Yes I think you answered your own question Saker. Far better for Russia to be rid of this demonic creature and quickly spike the faux human rights movement to make her into some sort of heroic martyr (Joan of Arc) which would have festered on every day, week, year of her sentence served in Russia. Let her loose like the mad dog she is on the already fraught situation in Ukraine. Let Poroshenko et al reap the whirl wind. Having made her into saint/celebrity who can do no wrong, now let them suffer the consequences. I call this a double win for Russia.
Sadly, she is only the tip of the iceberg, Galicia and Volyn have nurtured 1000’s more like her, Yes, rabid nationalists, nazi worshippers, fanatical Banderists. Baby nazis have to come from somewhere.
And many are Teachers, Schools are filled with that kind.
Saker, you’re always this way – your heart reacts in disgust, and then after a while your analytical mind sees the tactical benefits. The only difference between you and the Kremlin is they already had their disgusted moment in private, and all we see is their tactical action.
When Putin talked about Khodorkovsky, he said he pardoned him because his mother was old and ill – and he implied, or I inferred, that he knew he was being gamed, but the mother card was being played, and mothers are real, despite the games. I believed Putin then and still do.
I haven’t seen any footage of Putin now saying why he pardoned this woman, but I already believe it will be a lie if he claims humanitarian reasons – and knowing Putin, I don’t expect a lie. He’ll say it was simply to get the guys home.
And – no disrespect whatsoever intended – it doesn’t matter how important these two guys are. The point is that what Russia traded for these two guys was worthless anyway. And if anyone is looking for the meta message of this thing, it’s simply that she is worthless. Nothing could state this more elegantly than this trade. And it was a bargain.
What Putin may or may not say, but what he will mean, I think, is that this piece of trash doesn’t even belong in a Russian prison, if it means keeping her in Russia. Send her to the other trash in Ukraine, let her live or die there. And it does seem she’s poison pill, a ticking bomb that can only work to the benefit of Russia. Meanwhile two good guys come home.
In a world of complexity and sometimes overthinking, this is an easy choice, nothing to be disgusted about.
On a personal note – Saker, I never love you more than when your morality gets overloaded and your calculating mind can’t work. Don’t ever change :)
2 for 1 you call it a bargain ?
It was a deal of century, a trash bag for 2 men.
She will either disrupt the Rada and junta operationally or return to the front lines to do some killing again.
Either way, her life expectancy is under two years. Then they’ll blame Putin for killing her.
She is a psycho, absolutely. The Russians had her on and off stuff to calm her. She was a liability in their jails and a true thorn the way EU and Porky used her as symbol.
Now they have lost all usefulness of her. Putin got his boys back. Russians have two healthy young men to make babies and continue their service.
The issue of punishing her was moot from the getgo. Without capital punishment, nothing would suffice as punishment. And with the propaganda around her, she became a liability and distraction.
She now services as a living devil of Banderisma.
I think she’s dead in 2 years.
With any luck she’ll take out a handful of her fellow psychopaths in Kiev.
We should keep in mind the two good men killed by the mortar she spotted on them.
Fortunately, we got two men back. That’s very good.
Prayers for the families of the deceased. But they gave a wonderful gift helping two others return.
They issued the pardon. Putin merely agreed and signed it.
Very Russian act of love by the families of the fallen journalists.
> I haven’t seen any footage of Putin now saying why he pardoned this woman, but I already believe it will be a lie if he claims humanitarian reasons.
In fact, “humanitarian reasons” is very true, but not for Savchenko, for the 2 Russian prisoners. They were beaten up and tortured. Freeing them from that hell and reuniting them with their families, even if that means pardoning a murderer, can only be called a humanitarian reason.
We can only hope it works like that. I think in the coming months we’ll see. But I suspect she will be able to “contain” her lunacy to (by Ukrainian fascist standards) acceptable limits. And will be a rallying card to the (more) extremist elements among them. If anything she will be used to “keep” Poroshenko in check. Anytime its rumored he might be getting “soft” on Russians. They will drag her out for a “patriotic, death to Moskals” speech or march. In prison in Russia (rightfully) she was at least not going to be torturing or killing more people. Free to rabble rouse (at least),we can’t say the same.
I agree she will be used a a rabble rouser but not for the benefit of Poreshenko.
Can you imagine her wanting to implement Minsk?
She will be out on the streets spinning round like a mad woman stirring up those people we see attacking old pensioners and war veterans. She is of no use to the Europeans as propaganda tool. She is not a Timoshenko coming out of prison in a wheel chair!
She is a robust he/she full of hate. She can’t be paraded next to merkel, or Biden. She is too hard core nationalist.
Those videos do not help her especially the one of her ranting as she turns round and round I don’t understand what she is saying but the negative energy and hate is clear.
Yes,not for the “benefit” of Poroshenko .To keep him in line with the fascist agenda. I’m not so sure about her not being of use to those in the EU. I’m not convinced she’s totally (at all times ) insane. The EU has already invited her to come to the EU parliament for the PACE meeting. I could see her on her “best behavior” (as close as possible, that is) long enough to give an anti-Russian speech and interview. Then she’ll return to Banderatan to resume her craziness in the Rada.If need be doctor’s (and intelligence services) have a wide range of drugs to keep a person under control for at least short periods. I see no reason they wouldn’t use them on her if they thought they needed to.
I must say that despite the fact she is a murderer etc it just looked like state bullying to a woman.
What would they have done if this person had starved herself in prison?
The whole thing would have been awful.
Long term it is for the best.
She will find her place on the frontline outside the RADA campaigning against Poreshenko with those other neo nazi.
Saker is correct to say she is the real expression of Banderastan and she will show that reality.
I can’t imagine her playing politics and hiding her hatred and her views. It will be good for the silent Ukrainians to see what their heroine is like.
I do think she is nuts and the Russians know she is nuts. I think however they wanted to convict her for this purpose to get those two guys out.
Anyone who saw her in court knows she is nuts. It was unsettling to watch.
Saker, you should know better. She is clearly possessed by Satan. What she said in her confession:
Убивала ли я? — Ну, да, я убивала.
MOD-I kill? – Well, yes, I killed.
Agree with Grieved and Larch_445. Furthermore, it appears to me that this move by RF is quite subtle: she will take active role in her own punishment by participating in agony and eventual collapse of Bandereich.
Regards, Spiral
“Check out Savchenko’s body language and demeanor while Poroshenko makes his speech (again, no translation needed).”
Without knowing “exactly what she is saying. I think I have a good idea of what she was thinking in the video. Since the people she supports despise Poroshenko , More than likely she was thinking something like,” you fat oligarch slob. While I was sitting in prison in Russia. You were living in a Palace ,”betraying” the nation we won at maidan. Go ahead and make your,long-winded worthless speeches while you can. Soon we’ll send you to the wall. Along with all the “traitors” in Donbass. I’ll stand beside you now pretending you’re our President. But your days are numbered as soon as I get back in the battle”. Yes,I think that’s pretty close to her thoughts. If I was a “rabid” fascist like she is. That’s what I’d be thinking at that moment. And her facial expressions are in line with that too.
Yes, now the Empire has get their own “Führer” for Ukraine, exactly what they needed, and she is a woman. The Eu must be more than delighted, they promote feminism on all fronts. She will be promoted, pushed further on into the power lines of Ukraine, and with her speeches she will add new “life” to the war party against Russia. That will be the “thanks” for her release.
“It” is probably also a gift to “it´s” admirers among the Eurofags, Crocodile-tear-Mogerini´s and various German politic´s twitters were utterly disgusting in their support for a convicted murderer.
How will they keep their faces and their state controlled media mum when they have to deal with “it”?
This creature might very well become the President of Banderastan.
But first i expect “it” to go on tour and be received as a hero by people like Hitlery Clinton and the likes…
Yes,you may be right there. She may make a trip to the US, and at some point meet Clinton. After all they are both Russophobe’s. So it would help Clinton with her anti-Russian supporters. They are both women. And as a female “heroine” in the fight against “Putin” that will help Clintom with the women’s base of her support. And since Savchenko is a Lesbian, that would help Clinton with her “Gay Right’s ” supporters. As for Savchenko being a nazi. Well, we can be sure the US media will spin that as just Russian propaganda. All in all,it would be a “win, win” for Clinton,”what’s not to like” for her. As for Savchenko, she’d get to be seen being praised by the potential next President of the US. Certainly a feather in her cap to impress her nazi pals back in Ukraine. She’d be “lionized” throughout the US and by the World MSM. And get an all expense paid luxury trip to the US,where she can badmouth Putin and Russia to her heart’s contentment. Pretty good for a poor nazi gal from the sticks.
Bob, she’ll probably go ‘on the road’ with the Pussy Riot slags. A match made in Hades.
Yes. That abomination will be paraded through the White House in Washington, giving speeches in the U.S. Congress, testifying in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, giving interviews to Newsweek, Fox News, … And then, watch the organised homosexual filth joining in (“she” is one of them, isn’t “she”?). There will be no end…
“Preposterous”? “Won’t happen”? “You’re exaggerating”? …
Then think again:

(I suppose Putin had predicted all of that, no? If not, then he lacks that alleged foresight. And if he had, then things are even worse.)
Not exactly disagreeing with your analysis, but I would have more confidence in the way the Kremlin is playing things if you actually criticized a few things. Nobody and no political institution can navigate the troubles Russia is facing without making mistakes. Of course, we don’t know what the West tells the Kremlin about different matters, so we are not really sure ourselves.
To me, releasing her is risky. The Europeans seem quite happy about it, but a key element is morale. Russian critics are going to say things like “Kill a pilot, we ban tomatoes. Kill journalists, we catch and release.” Sure, they may criticize no matter what, but to some extent Putin is trying to straddle the two chairs that Yanukovich and Dilma did. Making the EU and Western banking system happy is not always safe. In any case, all those who laughed at Poroshenko for being crazy and saying that Russia would release her have some crow to eat.
Your “Nazis” are some curious stuff, they got brought into power by Nuhland aka Nudelmann aka Kagan(jewess) and Mr. John Cohen Kerry (jew) and other neocons and liberal hawks (90% jewish), they are equipped by jewish oligarchs like Kolormoiski and they get patched up in Israel (jewish ethnic state).
These are some strange “Nazis”.

Indeed, while Adolf and Isarionovich (Stalin) are laughing …
In every treason and retreat from Kremlin ,start mobilize journalists, sites commentators .They montaz every retreat in to smart Kremlin chess movement ,and other ridiculous arguments. Russians they are not stupid, and understand that this clique in Kremlin are representatives of oligarchs who blackmailed with sanctions because they have invest in west financial system and real estate. Some years ago in Cyprus ,the west show their teeth and seizure bl $ from russian oligarchy. After that west blackmail russian elite and oligarchy and their vassals in Kremlin.

Despite many calls, Ukranian pilot Nadiya Savchenko has been sentenced yesterday.
We continue to add our voices to the many others worldwide calling on the Russian authorities to immediately and unconditionally release Nadiya Savchenko, on humanitarian grounds, and in keeping with the “Package of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements” and the commitment therein to release all hostages and detained persons related to the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
This is also the case for all the other Ukrainian citizens illegally detained in Russia, including Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, that need to be guaranteed a safe return to Ukraine.”
Foreign Minister Steinmeier on the release of the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko
date of issue
25.05.2016
Foreign Minister Steinmeier issued the following statement in Berlin today (25 May):
Zusatzinformationen
I am glad and relieved that the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko has been released at last and that she can now return to her family in Ukraine.
This is good news for which we have long worked to bring about and for which we nevertheless had to wait a long time.
I offer my best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ms Savchenko. Our thoughts are with her and her family.
I hope and wish that today’s exchange will help build trust between Ukraine and Russia, thus providing the Minsk process with positive momentum.”

President warmly welcomes release of PACE member Nadiia Savchenko
25/05/2016PRESIDENT
“The release of my fellow PACE member Nadiia Savchenko is excellent news,” said Pedro Agramunt, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
“I commend both Russia and Ukraine for making this possible, and I look forward to welcoming her in Strasbourg soon – perhaps even at the next session in June, if her health permits.”
The President added: “I hope that both sides can now build on the goodwill that made this possible in order to make further progress on implementing the Minsk agreements.”

Obama played an important role in the liberation Savchenko, – the ambassador of Ukraine in the US | Russian spring
United States President Barack Obama played a very important role in the exchange psevdoletchitsy Savchenko Russian citizens. This was told by Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Valery Chaly in on Ukrainian television.
“President Obama has been brought to this support very seriously. I can say that the role of the US president was very important. As leaders of the “Normandy format” – Merkel and Hollande “- says Chaly.
What exactly was the role of Obama, is not even the State Department said.
It is possible that Kiev is now operating on the principle of “Victory has a lot of fathers, defeat – is an orphan.”
Chaly said Savchenko return opens up new opportunities for advancing the rights of “political prisoners” Ukrainians. At the same time, of course, no one said a word about the hundreds of Ukrainians, languishing in prisons of their own country on trumped-up charges of “domestic separatism”.

Ukraine Caucus Statement on Savchenko Release
May 25, 2016 Issues: Foreign Affairs
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressional Ukraine Caucus co-chairs Sander Levin (D-MI), Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), and Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA), and caucus members Ryan Costello (R-PA), Rosa DeLauro(D-CT), Robert Dold (R-IL), Dan Lipinski (D-IL), Nita Lowey (D-NY) Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), Tim Murphy (R-PA), Mike Quigley (D-IL), Dave Reichert (R- WA), and Adam Smith (D-WA) today released the following statement on the release of Ukrainian Member of Parliament and Fighter Pilot Nadiya Savchenko:
“We welcome the news of the release of Nadiya Savchenko. Our thoughts are also with her family and loved ones. Throughout her imprisonment and trial, Savchenko has come to represent the spirit of an independent Ukraine, free from interference and eager to embrace the will of its own people. Her case touched communities from across the globe who united to advocate for her release.
“We continue to condemn Russia’s handling of Savchenko’s capture, trial, and sentencing. Russian authorities repeatedly delayed trial and hearing dates, moved her trial, and restricted access both to witnesses and the independent press. Once again, we call on Russian authorities to respect the rule of law and release all those held unlawfully in Russian custody.”

Foreign Secretary welcomed Nadiya Savchenko’s release from prison in Russia, and her return to Ukraine
“”
Following the release of Nadiya Savchenko the Foreign Secretary said:
“Nadiya Savchenko’s release from prison in Russia, and her return to Ukraine, is welcome news. The British Government has consistently pressed Russia for her release. This brings an end to over 22 months of illegal, politically motivated detention in Russia, during which Ms Savchenko has shown remarkable courage and resilience.
“Russia needs to honour its commitments under the Minsk agreements, which make clear that all illegally detained persons must be released”.

I welcome today’s news that Nadiya Savchenko has returned to Ukraine and the Government of Ukraine’s humanitarian decision to release two Russian service members captured on Ukrainian soil and convicted of terrorism-related charges.
Nearly two years ago, Nadiya Savchenko was captured in combat in eastern Ukraine and forcibly taken against her will into Russia. Her release, after a long ordeal that included solitary confinement, is an important part of fulfilling Russia’s commitments under the Minsk agreements and should now provide impetus for their complete implementation. This includes a real, comprehensive, and sustained ceasefire in eastern Ukraine; full access for the OSCE to the area affected by the conflict; elections under Ukrainian law that meet OSCE standards and are monitored by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR); the withdrawal of foreign forces and equipment; and the return to Ukraine of full control over its international border. We also call on Russia to abide by its Minsk commitments by releasing all hostages and unlawfully detained persons.”
Please note last sentence…”call on Russia to abide by its Minsk commitments”
yet earlier March 2016
“Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova has accused the US State Department of attempting to influence a Russian court’s decision in the case of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko.
Zakharova questioned the authenticity of the statement attributed to US Secretary of State Kerry, in which he called for Savchenko to be freed “under the Minsk agreements.” The spokeswoman pointed out that the agreements on the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine do not cover cases such as that of Savchenko’s, who stands accused of complicity in the deaths of two Russian journalists, killed by Ukrainian artillery fire she allegedly directed.

Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko.(RIA Novosti / Iliya Pitalev)Ukrainian pilot Savchenko to break 80-day hunger strike in Russia, detention in force
Kerry’s statement called on Russia to “immediately release” the pilot as her “trial and continuing imprisonment demonstrate disregard for international standards as well as for Russia’s commitments under the Minsk agreements.”
“All this raises suspicion about the authorship,” Zakharova said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
Kerry must know that “there’s no word in the Minsk agreements about N. Savchenko and her case doesn’t meet the criteria of any of the situations described there,” she wrote.
Zakharova also pointed out that the statement, published right ahead of the court hearing, seeks to influence the Russian court system, as “the publication of pleas to free a defendant means exercising direct pressure on a court in order to influence its decision.”
The spokeswoman drew attention to the hypocrisy of US officials, referring to the cases of Russian citizens Victor Bout and Konstantin Yaroshenko, who were seized by US services overseas and were subjected to ill-treatment. Both insist they have been wrongfully charged and both have been kept behind bars for years, with Washington showing no intention of releasing them.’
so I wonder what Maria will say today at the usual Thursday MFA presentation……………….
there will be some sport in the rada and outrisde in Kiev, even potentially on the front btw puntive batallions.
Junta most definitely have cold sweats by now. They really should. Timochneko i strying is trying tyo endorse her. If she can, i mean if she’s able to control that Frankeshcko monster, the Porkie-Groyzman clan is in danger and the junta will definitely double down, in the light of AZOV threats over last week-end, on war, provocations and no respect to Minsk II. AT some point it will be harder & harder to hid the fact thta it is Kiev which doesn”t abide by the Minsk II agreements. French & German FA ministers already said so last time they were in Kiev.
The only trump card junta can play down is setting punitive bataillions against one another (AZOv vs. Aïdar for instance). EIther way, it’s bad for junta and things will get worse.
Can’t wait to see her comeback to the Rada
this might cheer Martin up
“Russia needs to restore military presence in Europe
This is not it. Washington has been creating an ABM system in Europe (Romania and Poland). In a few years, the global missile defense system will be able to shoot down all the ballistic missiles of Russia’s retaliatory strike.
The military pressure is accompanied by the pressure of sanctions. In a nutshell, we can see the situation of the 1950s, when the defensive Warsaw Pact was created in response to the establishment of the North Atlantic Alliance. Back then, the final straw was Germany’s entry into the alliance; nowadays, there is the US global missile defense system.
Against such a background, Russia needs a new Warsaw Pact to have a legitimate right for military presence in Europe. Like in the past century, it will help stabilize the situation. The existing defensive structure – Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) – is not suitable as the basis for a new military contract. Belarus is not ready for joint action: this is evidenced by its rejection to deploy a Russian air base in Lida.
The new Warsaw Pact: Can Russia do it?
Who in Europe is ready to enter into a new military project? Russia has already lost the Orthodox Georgia, Ukraine, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania. Is there anyone else? The answer to this question appears to be negative. To find candidates, Russia needs to offer an economic project that would be more attractive than the European Union. The CMEA (Council for Mutual Economic Assistance) used to be as such.
Vladimir Putin attempted to create one single space from Lisbon to Vladivostok, but the attempt failed because the Russian economy is not sovereign, unstable and oil-dependent. In a few years, we, the Russians, will face the question: either we live in an economically developed country or disappear.
Russia can try to do something already. Russia may support not only official governments of Europe, but also European opposition. In the Italian region of Veneto, for example, the Legislative Assembly adopted a resolution calling the EU to recognize the Crimea a Russian territory and lift sanctions against Russia.
Supporting the National Front of Marine Le Pen in France is also the right move. Russia needs anti-American politicians in Western Europe like air. Russia needs the fragmented Europe as no one has repealed the postulate: “Divide and conquer.”
Additionally, Russia could grow loyal politicians at its universities and support homegrown ones, who make their first steps in the political arena in Eastern Europe. It goes about such figures as chairman of the Polish Party “Change” Mateusz Piskorski, who was arrested for “spying for Russia.” From this perspective, pro-Russian Serbian parties (“Doors” and others) exploded in social networks, when a delegation of Russian senators led by Konstantin Kosachev had meetings with pro-Western leaders prior to the parliamentary elections in Serbia in April.
Russia must also activate the works of its special services as far as color revolutions are concerned. An eye for an eye that is. If Russia can shake Europe a little bit, Europe will be too busy with its own problems.
In many European countries, people are already dissatisfied with “belt-tightening” actions of their governments. France rebels against the new labor law that strikes out all social gains of previous generations. Greece, Portugal and Spain are standing on the verge of new shocks. The refugee crisis plays into Russia’s hands as well.
Change is coming to the United States too. Barack Obama said that he could, but it turns out six years later that he could not do a thing. People like Trump and Sanders do not come out of nowhere. America will see social, racial and economic shocks.
“In Eastern Europe, there are no countries that would be willing to cooperate with Russia in the defense field, – Leonid Ivashov, President of the International Center for Geopolitical Analysis told Pravda.Ru. – The Americans have all by the throat. Russia needs to strengthen its military might in the first place. Secondly, Russia must create joint defense space with Belarus. We should also work in the Balkans, especially in Serbia and Bulgaria. We also must create a group of high-precision cruise missiles based within reach of the United States. In this way, Russia will be able to neutralize the US anti-missile defense. When the Americans feel threatened as it was in 1962 (the Cuban Missile Crisis), they will be the first to offer to sit down to negotiate.”

Thanks JJ, would be too nice.
But it is a Pravda.ru article.
As much related to the power structure as if I write anything.
Maybe after “Yalta-#367” it will happen, but I currently cannot see that.
Serbia maybe, but that’s it.
It is a desparate writing but will remain without real actions on the ground.
BTW
One has to distinguish between two very different “Pravda”s.
The one referred to here is pravda.ru , whose English edition is pravdareport.com , which is completely unrelated to the Communist Party of Russian Federation, CPRF.
CPRF has its own “Pravda” (ПРАВДА), http://gazeta-pravda.ru/ – which is the true heir of the original paper from USSR, founded by V. I. Lenin himself on 5 May 1912. (It does not have an English version.)
CPRF has also its own official web site, https://kprf.ru/ (it is in Russian; although it does have English and Spanish versions, these are limited in materials).
It is the CPRF (Коммунистическая партия Российской Федерации, КПРФ) that is led by Genaddy Zyuganov (Геннадий Андреевич Зюганов), and is the second most powerful party in the state Duma.
“Chairman of the European Council Donald Tusk said that the anti-Russian sanctions will continue to operate as long as Moscow does not fulfill all the points of the Minsk agreements.

Kyiv security forces in violation of the Minsk agreements were placed at the contact line of self-propelled artillery units (SAU) “Hyacinth” and “Carnation”. This was announced today at a briefing in LuganskInformTsentre spokesman of the People’s Militia LNR Major Andrew Marochko.
“On the eastern outskirts of the village Lower Minchenok revealed two units of self-propelled artillery systems 2S1” Carnation “, – said the major.
” The civilian population is also confirmed by placing heavy weaponry in the village Kondrashovka. Also in Trehizbenke have ACS 2S5 “hyacinth”, – he added Marochko.
He said that the equipment is covered with camouflage nets, and the area of its location around the clock patrolling security forces.
“All these facts give rise to the leadership of, and also the People’s Militia does not weaken the vigilance and timely response to emerging threats, and to pay particular attention to the protection and safety of the Lugansk People’s Republic “, – said the representative of the defense Ministry LC.
Earlier Marochko reported that the command of the Kiev security forces concentrated near the contact line of heavy weapons, which in a short time can be used for combat action.”

The Kremlin confirmed that Moscow and Kiev are consulting on the issue of other Ukrainian citizens serving a sentence in the territory of the Russian Federation. This presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that this process should not be linked to the Minsk Agreement.
“These citizens are in no way actually like Savchenko, it was impossible to subsume under the category of persons who are mentioned in the Minsk agreements,” – said the representative of the Kremlin.
Former Ukrainian troops Hope Savchenko, sentenced in Russia to 22 years in prison for the murder of journalists RTR in the Donbass, has previously been pardoned by the President of the Russian Federation and sent to Kiev . On the same day in Moscow came the Russians Evgeny Erofeev Alexander Alexandrov , convicted in Ukraine for alleged terrorist activities and pardoned by President Petro Poroshenko
However, many Western politicians took the news release Savchenko as an important part of the implementation of the Minsk agreements . In particular, such statements were made by the US Secretary of State John Kerry, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.”

it ain’t over yet………………..
Hello jj
It’s very confusing that you have posted all this information.
I unfortunately cannot work out what you are trying to say?
that the west clearly believes it is winning by re-claiming the Savenchko situation WAS part of Minsk and that similar situations they will also falsely aligned with Minsk despite whatever denials Ruusia says, and will always promulgate this information war along these lines ,although apparently she was not part of any discussion of the recent Normandy format(there had been prior discussions separately from those), and that there is supposed to be a ceasefire it is only Putin who constantly reminds ukraine that Minsk must proceed ,but west does not condone or denounce the increasing continuing action and military shennanegans by ukr forces.
BTW Maria said today that the statements made in Kiev yesterday(referring to Sav and Poro) were “quite aggressive ” and unadvised or ill advised………….
I await information from the up and coming Warsaw NATO conference and see if their tone is now strengthened by their ideology that they can manipulate Rus into a corner by their own mistaken beliefs. Nuland has said any elections outside Minsk will not be recognised, ukr will not implement Minsk, ukr politicals etc want to cancel Minsk and ATO continue, so any ‘reasonable ” attempts by Donbass to hold elections-as required by Minsk- are doomed to failure as they will be denounced by the west and Russia will continue to be held hostage by the west because Russia has failed to comply with Minsk. And failed to return Crimea.

The arrest of Piskorski is a signal that not only Polish but also European “law enforcers” in general will no longer stand on ceremony.
It is not about whether Piskorski criticized the Polish authorities. The point is what ideological position he stood for.
Piskorski, like many other Eurosceptic politicians, in fact discredits the basic ideas of the current “united Europe”, namely worship of liberal ideology, nihilism in relation to traditional values together with respect for the communist past.
It is manifested in a quite unambiguous way within the political framework, namely: Euroscepticism; striving to get rid of US control and for an independent foreign policy that is moderate and sometimes openly looks up to Russia; and criticism of current events in Ukraine.
And law enforcement agencies of the Western countries, doing away with such legal formalities as open criminal proceedings against such people, threaten them with pending trouble and even arrest them.
Mateusz is not the only one facing such persecution. French politician Marine Le Pen of the National Front is accused of not being transparent with the party’s financing. Volen Siderov from the Bulgarian Attack party was tried at first for slander, then for disorderly conduct.
They treat this Polish “friend of Russia” even more cruelly, by trumping up nothing less than espionage to him.
The Piskorski’s case demonstrates how ruthlessly the collective West will conduct itself in suppressing those who are ready to offer the voters an alternative to the current Russophobic agenda. From now on, it is risky for such people to be engaged in politics.
The West is openly ready to ignore the violation of its own rules and standards, not only in Third World countries where its satellites operate, but also in its own house if these rules and standards are contrary to the general geopolitical policy.
Russia needs to get ready to defend its own political allies – by diplomatic, legal and informational means. In fact, this is already a full-fledged Cold War 2.0. Which means “business is business”.

The release of this rabid bitch was treated by the Australian MSM, the Government run ABC and SBS at least, as some sort of triumph of Ukraine over ‘Evil Putin’. They did not mention her crimes for some hours, reporting her as merely a helicopter pilot arrested by evil Russians. Tonight the actual murder of the journalists was mentioned, but her trial described as ‘widely criticised by ‘observers”. Then there was the German Foreign Secretary growling his hatred of Russia and approval of their Ukronazi protege’s. It is always good to see Western presstitutes displaying their bias (the partisanship towards the jihadists in Syria and against the Syrian Government is quite beyond belief)but in support of a murderer of journalists really does represent some new low, even for these scum.
This mental case is now going to her natural habitat: the Ukrainian Rada, to which she was elected while in prison.
It is going to be very interesting to see her speeches and interventions in that lofty institution. I can’t wait.
She is the poisoned chalice.
http://tass.ru/en/politics/878227
or as one Russian parliamentarian put it “A senior Russian parliamentarian has called former Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko ‘a mine of uncontrollable impact’ for Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.”
I noted you commented that you are not psychiatrist to determine her mental state.
I was a lawyer some years back and now am training to be a Counselor/Psychologist.
From my observations, the Russian Government sending back an obvious dangerous lunatic with clear violent psychopathic tendencies coupled with violent delusions of a Ukrainian nirvana based he death of her imagery enemy Russia reminds of another such personality named Hitler whose delusions of Jews mirrors Nazeda’s hate for Russians. But mirrored more openly at this stage than Hitler did in public. In essence I think it is wise move on the Russian Government. This ultra fascist will now form a very dangerous lunatic or even more lunatic fridge within the working of the US puppet state?…Will the US overlords actually achieve in controlling her or assassinating her?,… a false flag if they cannot control her?
Having observed her (not long enough) I believe her hate for Russia will consume her and that will lead to her journey her master Satan in Hell!
Her days of “freedom” are numbered.
The nazi female is obviously a criminally insane specimen. But let us regard the probable future…Ukraine is part of Russia in a long history…and in the fullness of time Ukraine and the Russian Federation will reconcile according to sound logic and viable economics.
When that happens the remaining nazis will face justice…including the female specimen – if she’s still alive.
In Brazil today there is a rampant virus called zika. The effects of this virus, causes shrunken heads and underdeveloped brains in newborn infants. In the Ukraine today there is a similar virus known as the nationalist bandera. Its an interesting virus as the infants are born with normal heads and brains, but for some strange reason the individuals that are infected their heads start shrinking and their brains begin to recede and sometimes they even foam at the mouth. Apparently the epicentre of this epidemic is in Galicia and unfortunately there is no cure for this sickness.
Dear Saker,
I also was unhappy with the decision to release Ms. Savchenko, but it’s a good trade if two innocent men are freed, even at the expense of punishing a guilty person. Punishment cannot bring back the dead, undo crimes previously committed, and doesn’t necessarily lead to repentance. Ms. Savchenko needs our prayers and fasting as Christ Himself commanded, so that she can be freed from whatever evil seems to have taken control of her.
K.
What I see when I look at Savchenko is a , repressed, butch-dyke lesbian, who is overcompensating mannerisms she believes a man would exhibit during this situation. Its obvious she’s a Banderite, so it must be tough for her, knowing, that her own side would kill her if she ever “came out”. Also, wasn’t she a helicopter pilot ? Why would she go to the front lines, instead of flying again ?
“So maybe her liberation is Putin’s poisoned gift to the Ukraine?”
Like the Germans sending Lenin to St Petersburg…
With the only differences that Lenin was A) a human being B) educated C) skilled D) really fought for the good thing, even though the Z-“germans” only financed him to destroy and partition Russia, bad luck, didn’t work out.
Yes Martin
A helicopter pilot and military instructor is a human being, educated and skilled. She sees the world “differently” and is dangerous to those who differ from her vision…
@Geneva observer:
You never read Lenin’s cv if you dare to compare such creature Savchenko to him.

“””””Lenin continued studying, graduated with a gold medal for exceptional performance, and decided to study law at Kazan University.[15]”””””
“””””In May 1890, Maria convinced the authorities to allow Lenin to take his exams externally at a university of his choice. He chose the University of St Petersburg, and obtained the equivalent of a first-class degree with honors. The graduation celebrations were marred when his sister Olga died of typhoid.[30] Lenin remained in Samara for several years. In January 1892, he worked as a legal assistant for a regional court, and later worked with a local lawyer.[31]”””””
Now, tell me what this something Savchenko has ever achieved.
Think again.
Petro is giddy, he thinks he’s on a political roll and demands Crimea be returned and Donbass back under Kiev’s control as well (see: http://russia-insider.com/en/buoyed-savchenkos-release-poroshenko-vows-take-back-crimea/ri14589 ). He sought counsel with the ambassador to Hell and was given this foolproof plan to accomplish it. Here it is.
Poroshenko will sneak into St. Petersburg and kidnap President Putin’s life size statue made of chocolate (see:http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/russia-sculptors-make-life-sized-statue-president-vladimir-putin-out-chocolate-1531686). He will demand a ransom of Crimea and Donbass in exchange for the statue otherwise he will eat the “chocolate Putin” entirely by himself, live on Ukrainian television.
Putin knows the sculpture is really made of bear dung coated in chocolate so now he has a tough decision to make, should he let Poroshenko eat the statue?
Remove all the communists and satan/god believers from this forum and you will be scared by how few normal people you are left with.
back2the furniture, if you are an example of ‘normal’ then I vote for weird.
Dear Saker
Perhaps, we could say “yet another concession to the Natoists”?
What do you think?
Do you think those two men should have remained in prison?
That’s what you need to ask yourself.
@ James
That way you could justify anything. Never prosecute the bloodiest and cruellest sadistic criminals, just “barter” them for some good guys…
“That’s what you need to ask yourself”
Indeed…
Dear Saker
These two guys did not behave well in captivity.
If you remember well if you search on internet you will find out that they are undisciplined and they behave like they are not solders.
http://www.novayagazeta.ru/politics/68506.html
I think the explanation may be beguilingly simple. Russia simply wants to wash her hands of this nutter. End of story. No good comes from any course of action so why should Russia be bothered to feed and cloth her? There is the added benefit that she’s likely to do more damage to Ukraine’s junta than years of careful planning might.
Why did the Russians cage this person like an animal and allow her to become even more radicalized in prison? Why didn’t they try to de-Nazify her and explain to her the goals of regime change in Ukraine: Not just to “contain” Russia in a new cold war, but also to steal Ukraine central bank gold; to introduce fracking and GMO seeds; to privatize all Ukrainian state assets and sell them for pennies to western corporations; to foster prostitution, drug, and human organ trafficking; and to loot the country until there is nothing left. Why didn’t anyone explain to her that the Anglo-American empire is responsible for turning Ukraine into a European-style version of Somalia and that it will never be allowed by said empire to join it?
You cannot rehabilitate a sociopath/psychopath. Anyone who can torture a priest and do the evil things she has done has something missing – something she was not born with or did not develop. She is like a child molester – those people get out of “rehabilitation” or prison – and go on again and again to do the same things.
Because there is no way you can turn her into a “normal” human being. You have to understand she is so beyond you, you insignificant fleck of normality. Here is somebody who can get engrossed into burning the legs of a six-year old little boy with an immersion coil and savour the smoke and at the same time laugh at and taunt his father as the litgle boy shrieks and wails. Can you do that? Give up, you can not follow here, you can never appreciate the sheer lack of limits to evil. She can not be reasoned with and there is no empathy. Think of her as an evolved and sentient two-legged cobra.
She is very clearly mentally disturbed … even while back in the court she would be smiling when she should be worried… her hatred will kill her
She wasn’t worried because she is an “extremist” ,who considered herself as a” Martyr” to the cause of Ukrainian fascist nationalism. She couldn’t “lose” there. If she died ,she died a “Holy Martyr” to the “cause”. If she lived she believed “rightly” she would be traded at some point for hostages her side held. The new Russia isn’t Stalin who stood on principal and wouldn’t even trade his own son for the release of German Generals. This Russia believes foolishly in the “art of the deal”.That everything is open for trade.Ironically that may be why they like Trump, thinking he is another oligarch for them to deal with. Sadly they learned little from their disaster in Ukraine. While their ideology seems to revolve around money. They don’t realize that their most ideological enemies are only partly moved by that lust. There is a deep ideology of Russophobia in the West that has little to do with money. In league with a Eastern European fascist ideology that from start to finish feeds on Russophobia. Certainly the Ukrainian oligarchs would like to “kiss and make up” with their Russian “Brother oligarchs”. But can’t without their “followers” hanging them or slitting their throats for “betraying Ukraine” and dealing with the “hated Moskals”.The maidan fanatics have been in power for 2 years now.By the 2 year mark in nazi Germany (1935) they had already propagandized society. And started along the path for a generation of youth to follow their ideology. The Bandera aren’t as efficient as their models were. But they have taken over the media and education,so they are working hard on it. To the poor Syrians misfortune their friends in Russia think the “art of the deal” will work there as well. Why they think that,I believe is the same reason they foolishly think that about Ukraine. Their “new” ideology refuses to accept that money isn’t everything. When you constantly deal with corrupt “pardners” you forget that even some that are corrupt have other ideas as well.Contrast the quick success of the Soviet reaction when the US tried to intervene in the Indian-Pakistani war in 1971. To the failure of the “ceasefire” and “peace-talks” of the current situation.Hanging by a thread while the US advances its stooges ever further into Syria. Until the “art of the deal” is dropped as an ideology,we will have zero chance of winning anywhere.
Sidenote related to this: It appears at least one writer for RT seems to see the “handwriting” on the wall. But he is pretty lonely there. When the “art of the deal” is the “Holy Writ”,its heresy when you think differently:
NATO in Montenegro: Securing the rear before Barbarossa II?

Sophie and co interview today with head of no war no nato movement in Montegro
Given the nature of the specimen, who really describes itself by attitude, expression and behavior, she couldn’t possibly be an asset to Ukraine or anywhere else.
I can scarcely believe that anyone has thought she could be, who knew how to think. It is an object of horror, and a perambulating engine of destruction.
Such phantoms of inverted humanity appear more frequently in proportion as the darkness of ignorance is more gross. Which explains the praise of the Ukro-Nazis, with the conniving choir of the Anglo-Zionists and their European acolytes. For whom (the Euro-acolytes), there is no plumb line long enough to fathom the depth of their hypocrisy.
Good riddance, as they say. And wait for a prime-time interview on any of the zio-networks and her front cover image on Vanity Fair and/or an LGBT magazine.
It’s fairly obvious why Sevchenko was released, it’s in line with a tactic that Putin often uses in the propaganda war, just give the Atlanticists &/or 5th columnist enough rope with which to hang themselves & then at the appropriate moment, feed them that rope. The Western media has hyped this lunatic up the way they did Pussy Riot, tried to give them the martyr treatment. Shevchenko is clearly a liability, once Russia had made it’s point by prosecuting her, they had no need for her, clear calculation, So give her back to Banderstan, where she will make an absolute idiot of herself, & them. Not a bad idea.
I have no comment on the prisoner exchange. I would not waste any of my time on this person, as she speaks for herself. How ever, I find the statements from the EU and the Heads of state from countries around the world challenging. This person was found guilty in a court of law. Targeting journalists is now OK? These people who sing the praises of the hero woman are the ones who cry the loudest when journalists from their area of interest are targeted. What do the journalists from around the world think of this. We have heard nothing from them. Why? Do they feel less safe when a person found guilty of targeting and killing journalist’s is hailed a hero?
i think she (it) is now in right place. serving life in “prison” named Ukraine.
just came across this article, unfortunately in spanish
Apparently somebody wants Savtchenko to take over Poroschenkos place, as President to the Ucrania, they seem to be gathering signatures for this
it is really incredible

I listened to her speech and the ones from her trial in Rostov on Don ( her trial was not in Moskow, Saker). Interesting. In Rostov she thanked Russian people, she said in Russian: ” I thank specifically you, Russians – Я благодарю именно вам, русским.”
In this video with Poroshenko, she said that she is grateful to Ukrainian people, but not to Ukrainian rulers.
I do not know why Putin gave Savchenko presidential pardon, she refused to ask for it (in comparison, Erofeev and Alexandrov asked Poroshenko to pardon them). I also do not know why Russians went to such a long process to promote her and make a hero out of her. I do not know the value of Erofeev and Alexandrov, especially Alexandrov, who gave a long antiPutin speech on TV. I do not know many things and do not like the feeling of that.
As a physician, I think that she is brave, sadistic and a psychopat. She might become for the Ukrainian rulers and especially for Poroshenko like a suitcase without handles – one cannot carry it, but is not allowed to throw it. They will fight to associate her somehow. If that does not work, then a heroical death is a possibility. Coming from Putin, of course, who else.
Dear Saker,
I think you will find this article very interesting. It gives a plausible reason as to why Russia returned Savchenko in exchange for Erofeev and Alexandrov.
Think of Sergei Magnitsky and the likelihood that someone tasked with looking after him while he was in prison was bribed not to provide the medication or treatment he needed. Does Russia need a second Magnitsky to give the US and the EU the excuse to pass idiot Savchenko laws?
And just think of the contribution Savchenko as a Verkhovna Rada representative could make to the further instability of the Kiev regime and Poroshenko himself.

Everything that happens to Savchenko and everything that she does from now on will be on Ukraine’s head.
Jen, several thousand people die in US gaols every year. Magnitsky was a fat, unhealthy, alcoholic who died of liver and pancreatic disease secondary to his life-style. That the West made a fuss about his death was pure, unadulterated, hypocrisy of the vilest kind, typical of the scum. He wasn’t shot down in the street like a dog (although he may have deserved to be so treated)like hundreds of US minorities, every year.
Your comment that she looks like she’s on LSD and crack cocaine does disservice to both those substances.
I suspect the Russian psychiatrists found her “sane” in order to allow her to be tried. It wouldn’t have been much of a swap to exchange an insane woman for two purported espionage agents.
In fact, I believe her to be sane after watching the videos. Is she a monster? Of course she is. But I believe you can easily find many like her walking the streets of North America and Europe.
Saker, I think you may be onto something with your talk of her release being a poisoned challis for Porkychenko in that she/ it may become a touch stone, a rallying point, a spark that ignites the rage of the Ukrainian people. Be they ordinary people who have watched their savings, jobs & standard of living disappear, veterans of the ATO who want someone to pay for the complete clusterfuck that it was. To the Neo-Nazis who feel betrayed by a govt that backed down just as they were about to strike the winning blow.
Ukraine tearing itself apart without any (well without very much) outside assistance, and sooner rather than later, may be a scenario the Kremlin feels has much merit and this release may be the birthing pangs of the second Maidan / regime change. Remember, Russians almost always play the Long Game
best joke ever, now confirmed, she does accept to become President and take over from Poroschenko!

In Chess you need to anticipate the moves of the one you are playing against to win.
Putin is winning this match on all sides.
The grand Chess Board. As the Zionists like to call it.
Saker, I am also upset they turned that (deleted.MOD) lose again. I was too hoping she would spend more quality time in penal colony number so-and-so cursing Russia, making weird neck gyrations and sewing army uniforms. Remember Lynndie England of Abu Ghraib fame? In comparison, England is a sweet soul who makes you just want to sweep her into your arms and gently dry the tears of her victims from her face. But seriously, I would not trust Frau Kommandant around me even if I was one of theirs, her appearance and demeanor makes me wonder if she can rotate that head 360 degrees and levitate, so evil.
I understand Saker’s disgust at this affair. But the reason is really simple and straightforward. Saker alluded to it later. That sicko is better deported back to her hell. The junta should live with her. Nobody who is anybody wants her in the West. So sooner than later the junta would have to deal with her in the way she will not like.
I love watching the spread of propaganda. Especially when in people who in some areas seem very aware of propaganda, but then in other areas show an extreme vulnerability.
She in no way looks like she’s on LSD. She’s not looking around and thinking that the lights look really cool, especially the way the dust patterns show up in the TV lights. She’s not staring at the her hands like she’s never really noticed the veins or lines in them ever before now.
What she does appear is that she looks really drunk. Drunk at the point where the room is starting to spin a little and she’s seeing double, but she still realizes that falling over on stage nor vomiting would be good things to do right now. She does look like she’s taking some deep breaths to control this, and she seems to have an ‘eyes bugging’ out look of a drunk trying to keep control but can’t really shake their head to stop the spinning in this setting.
Of course, what the Saker just named are two substances that are constantly attacked and used in propaganda. And its seems to be an area where he’s less knowledgeable. So, the propaganda filters through, and he suddenly sounds just like the rest of the propaganda media. Saying that someone looks drunk isn’t a compliment, but its not the propaganda attack that claiming that they are on LSD and a crack cocaine user yields.
If someone is released from prison and does a bit too much ‘celebrating’ and suddenly realizes that they don’t have the same tolerances anymore than when she was drinking every day with the troops, well, you can’t use that to make the leap to saying she’s ‘crazy’. But, the propaganda media has readily supplied other ways of making that claim, which the Saker seems happy to adopt.
Putin’s poisoned gift is the exact description of this psychotic Nadezda. She will pretty soon will shoot everyone including the Ukraian rada members or somebody what she doesn’t like. Poroshenko and the gang deserve this, nothing else.
Nadya Savchenko looks a classical butch dyke – she must have had a good time with prison girls in Russia.
