Reaction of Elena Isinbaeva, two-time Olympic gold medalist (2004 and 2008), a three-time World Champion (2005, 2007 and 2013), the current world record holder. She has never been implicated in any doping scandal.
Translation: All which an athlete had to do what to jump high enough, pass the test and compete. Thank you for the funeral of track and field athletics. This is motivated solely by political expediency. All the conclusions are directed at the VAFLA (All-Russia Athletic Federation) and there nothing against the athletes, this is clearly a ‘zakazukha’ (a ‘hit’). We had hope, now we lost it . Now let these pseudo-clean foreign athletes breathe a sigh of relief and win their pseudo-gold medals while we are away. Strength has always been feared
Thanks for sharing. Excellent.
Maybe the RF ought to keep its powder dry for a year then after initial round of qualifiers cancel FIFA 2018?
Lets see if we make it to 2018….
There’s no way Football WM will be in Russia – NONE. Blatter and Platini were fired that they dared to allow Russia to get 2018 , and btw. the Swiss looked stupid and incompetent like Swiss Chees and don’t get it to this day what happend.
The US will find something to give 2018 to somebody else, very soon !
It is a disgrace. No bounds or shame to assist political agenda’s. I feel for all Russian athletes.
I am so disgusted by the whole spectical that I am not going to watch the Olympics. Everything about these games and what they stood for has been destroyed. The A/Z’s are so impotent and pathetic that they have to attack innocent athletes and try and continue to destroy Russia’s reputation.
Elena sums it up – this Olympics will go down in history as a disgrace and all those athletes who win golds should thank their lucky stars that some of the best athletes in the world weren’t there. No competition.
Allegations – no facts! All based on a fake German tv show and then the testimonies of a disgraced doping Russian athlete and her husband and a disgraced and mentally unstable official who ran to US. How they live with themselves…..They trust dopers.
I don’t trust any of these re-tested samples either – who was keeping an eye on these tests? – have things been added? – that corrupt “lawyer” (which law school did he go to) said he has seen these tubes broken into with his own eyes – so samples could be tampered with too….that’s worrying for every athlete globally.
CAS – three judges – where from – you guessed it – USA, Britain and Italy – that was going to be fair wasn’t it.
What makes me sad is that no other countries/Olympic bodies (China, India etc) have protested this farce. The loss of billions of viewers would have sorted this out.
The Olympics are dead!
I await the new games Russia will drive forward.
Maybe it was purposely done as another way to mar/damage/ruin the Brazil Olympics – along with the Zika hoax – as Brazil is a BRICS country. They are doing that plus using it as a political weapon against Russia so hitting 2 BRICS countries with one stone.
Well, possible.
Except that I should think that with so many in the world decrying the coup in Brazil, the USA and its allies would want to do everything it can to bolster the “new” Brazil, which would also mean its Olympics, to the extent that the coup aligns with USA Empire interests.
It would seem to me that undermining the Rio Olympics would not play to the advantage of the USA, to the extent that its interests lie with legitimizing the new regime. So scaring away big participants such as Russia from the Games is not going to be welcomed by the big guys in Brazil, surely.
Katherine
They are now renamed to THE EMPIRE GAMES 2016 !
Russia needs to hold (probably in Sochi) an “All-Russian” track and field event (at the same time as the Rio Games). Which would give her athletes a chance to compete. And cut the TV link to the track and field events in Rio. Only show the events that have Russian athletes competing. If the Russian Team is banned or withdraws, cut all viewing of the Rio Games in Russia. There is no reason for Russian networks to pay a broadcasting fee to Western TV for showing games that they aren’t competing in.
And just in case people think that the rest of the world would not be interested in the things that Russians do in the RussoKitai continent, Uncle Bob, and thus Russia would be “isolated” and forgotten: “http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3701811/From-Moscow-Beijing-Gobi-Desert-Rally-cars-tear-vast-dunes-oases-compete-Silk-Way-Rally.html”
From a very widely read UK paper.
Don’t worry about Rio. Forget about the Olympics. Set up a new games. Stick to the best sports. Make it invitation only. Invitation of athletes only according to excellence. If you aint good enough, you do not receive invitation.
No national flags. No national anthems. None of that nationalistic rubbish. Time to start again and do it right this time. What is sought is to see the highest attainment of human excellence in physical performance. The rest is worthless.
Siotu
P.S. I shall not be watching the Olympics. It isn’t worth the effort to sit through the advertising.
amazing…so many great pictures of the gobi and the liitle ‘toy’ cars amongst the dunes.
well worth a view for a fascinating set of pictures…how do the people in almati manage
to live isolated like that?
What humiliation and disgrace is this ??
…The entire Russian federation should boycott the Olympics. All Russian olympians should honor there comrades and refuse to go Brazil.
….If any Russian competes at the Olympics after this politically motivated disgrace, then they are basically respecting the position and suspension of their colleagues and basically admitting that they were indeed guilty.
…..Russians should have more dignity and self respect and not participate in this farce.
Russia should set up games with Russia, China, Belarus, India, many of the “-stans”, Serbia, and other countries of good will who don’t use blanket racism against the athletes and use it for a hypocritical political tool.
Pseudo means illegitimate, illegitimate means perfect moral arrow.
If ever there was one.!.?.is binary analysis moot –
It is not a matter of setting up alternative games, Uncle et al. It is a matter to do with time. There is such a thing as the other penny. This banning is a bridgehead to a coup de grace.
I wonder how many of these various sports regulatory officials running this political faggotry against Russia are Jews? Are Cathlics? And whether any of these adolescents are not zionist or otherwise deeply in bed with the Jewish mafia (that’s organised crime for those who still believe the Jewish run Hollywood scam of it all being Italians with gauze in thier cheeks running the show). Is there a way to find out the bios of these corrupt scum to illuminate their biases and who is greasing their buggered bums?
Reply to Vot Tak: You are mostly correct. However, you may wonder, there is not a single Catholic among the Olympian officers. The Catholics are less than 0.1 % of the whole population. Not even the pope (Francisco alias Bergoglio) is Catholic, which you might learn if you read e.g. remnantnewspaper.com articles, and obviously even none of the bishops in Rome is Catholic.
The people who now prevented Russians to participate in Rio are paid by the U.S., and the people actually governing U.S. are the banksters. You know who owns the banks, and so with most of your opinion you were absolutely right.
I will not watch the Rio games either as there is no need to inhale the propaganda.
Guilt by association may be sufficient for a search warrant or wire tap, but not for criminal conviction in a court of law. The blanket ban on all Russian track and field athletes is an example of the guilt-by-association fallacy. Yelena has been on the international athletics circuit for 18 years. She has two Olympic golds and multiple world golds. There has never been any hint whatsoever of doping during her whole career, unlike for one of the prime “witnesses” for the “prosecution,” Yulia Stepanova, a very second-rate athlete absent doping, who is being allowed to compete under the IOC flag, despite her record.
Collective punishment is also something that is in contravention of the UN Charter. Another example of this injustice, is to Sergey Shubenkov, who competed at age 21 in the 110 m hurdles in the 2012 Olympics, but didn’t reach the finals. He has competed many times since in world events, inproving to gold medal status in the 2015 World Championships. He too has never shown any hint of doping. These two are serious and clean competitors for gold, who have been unfairly taken out of the competition to the advantage of their rivals.
Cheating to gain medals can go far beyond just doping to finding ways to keep rival athletes out of a competition. There have been many “individual” initiatives from rigging heavyweight boxing challenger rankings to a US ice skater being deliberating injured by an associate of a rival. Perhaps, we are now seeing a full-blown, “state-sponsored” similar initiative in progress.
Here is a Russian dissection of the accusation of “systemic” doping. http://orientalreview.org/2016/07/21/the-olympics-as-a-tool-of-the-new-cold-war/comment-page-1/#comment-2712510 It is a perennial issue in criminal trials. Whom does one believe, known perpetrators pointing the finger at others, or the others denying involvement, particularly when those making the accusations are trying to avoid conviction or extradiition themselves?
Unproven, blanket defamation of athletes, which causes actual loss of income, is actionable in common law. There may be a lot of lawsuits flying after this. Under UK law, even telling the truth is no defence against a libel lawsuit, if there is “malicious intent” to harm. In North America, telling the truth is a defence, but the truth has to be proven. Unfounded speculation is not accepted in court.
The IOC and its global network are as corrupt as FIFA ever was and will be. Any changes will be just as in the Ukraine, one bunch of corrupt, gangster oligarchs taking over from another. The lack of regard for the property and human rights of poorer residents in the development path of Olympic facilities is another scandal. If the Brazil games turn out to be debacle, along with the exclusion of the Russians, the whole house of cards may come tumbling down, just as the western Roman Empire, with its “bread and circuses,” did..
These sorts of acts by the zio-gays are designed to isolate Russia. The zionazi sods want the Russians to have a reaction that the zio-gays can use to demonise them with. Like with everything these fascist favgots try on Russia, the best resonse is not taking the bait.
People put too much into the worth of things like sports events and song contests (remember the adolescent zio-gay nonsense of the last euro song contest?), these are fluff things. They matter little on the world stage. Take the long view. The olympics is supposed to be non political, yet here are some desperate zionazis and nazis going all out to make them political, Part of their full spectrim dominance bum banditry, yes, but also their emphasis on these petty and very gay smear campaigns show how impotent their power has become. It’s all hysterics now from these freaks because they know that militarily they not only do not have the public backing for the sorts of wars they need, their much vauntef military would not be able to do a fraction of what their propaganda wants everybody to believe.
The zio-west are total losers bluffing with a nothing hand and failing at that.
Russian absence makes it the donkeys backside awaiting the tail to be pinned on it. The set up has hardly begun. Banning is a foundation for the finger pointing and posse assemblage to come. Banning is preparing the ground. Far from a global peace the Olympics are a platform and cover as in Ossetia, Sochi, but more likelier yet something alloyed somewhat to Munchen. The plaque kissing of late unnerves the aware. No act seems too low so far.
I will boycott this Olympics, will not watch any competition. I’m Brazilian, leaving in the uncle Sam land, I was ready to visit the homeland, but now I won’t. it’s disgusting, F. the Olympics!
Don’t ya peeps have better things to attend to?
I mean even in the best of times, who the f. cares about this or that sort of games?
Like an european soccer championship, that was won by africans?
What is the point? Essplain pleeeese?
Yeah, I get the multi mill. Dinero sponsorships and shit, but that is an exception, not the norm.
The other day we were messing with a news item about some virtue signalling simpleton, who has ran 1348 kilometers with a friend of mine.
We were so immensely impressed. There is not enough time in the day to do what needs to be done, yet this retard and ALL sportsters find time to run over to the moon.
All that energy, sacrifice, and nothing to show for it.
Let me give yaall a pointer:
They call it the olimpic GAMES.
Grow up children.
Of coursemit is political and not without precedent either.
But who cares?
No, seriously?
I do not.
I care about the Donbas. I care abour Syria.
I care about rain on my farm. I care about my dog and cat.
I could not care less about some or other “sporting” event I am not perticipating in.
“What is the point? Essplain pleeeese?”
First they came for the sportsters, but I was not interested in the games …
Let’s not get overdramatic.
Look, it is beyond ridicule, but that was not my point.
It is silly games, bread and circuses, that you are engaged in emotional levels.
Now, don’t get me wrong, the spirit of the games to wring out the badest ass of the badasses is value.
But look what it wuz back then:
Wrestling
Running
Etc
Basically wargames.
.Get that through you head.
The olimpix started as simulating war in peacetime.
And when it did that, it was worthy.
Now?
Useless piece of sheeet of political correct control of achievment.
Not even to mention the corruption….
F.it
Well I wont be watching a minute of this farce of an Olympics. I really do hope something bad happens at it.
Don’t be a dick. You will be like “them”.
You know, since You have mentioned it my attitude can b summed up thus:
Do as to them as You wish to be done by them.
Sound familiar?
Remind you I Am an atheist :D
i too dont watch olympics – the last time I did so was so disapppointing (London making ad for its National Health Service at opening ceremony… ugh) that I decided for meself to boycott all that fake, as I boycott fakebook. Any province Circus performance for kids can be more interesting!
BRAVO Elena!
Russian pranksters Vova and Lexus expose the WADA. They have no evidence other than the word of a Russian doper who defected to the US.

You make good valid points. In the end, who cares about a bunch of hyped and hyper-politicized *games*. Games. Let’s start a twitter hashtag #F*ckTheOlympics to encourage people not to watch it, stay away from the TeeVee and enjoy Summertime when “the livin’s easy…” And let’s mean it. Screw this utter nonsense.
Stick Yelena in front of a camera to announce the Russian Federation Amateur Games. Beginning in pre-school. A selection of olympic contests, PLUS traditional contests from the regions — check the Aboriginal Games. Hold contests in Sochi AND ethnic centres, everywhere. Make ethnologiest earn their keep finding the various traditional equivalents of laurel wreaths — no gold. Throw in fame, television, youtube, maybe dvds and picture-books of the individual contests (one-off is almost as cheap as mass-production). Declare ties and multiple identical scores when high-tech devices are needed to distinguish.
When you have figured out how to make it work, give in to the clamorous neighbours pleas, and let CIS, Finland, Turkey, Iran, China, even Balts, join. Forbid anybody who trains in US etc — relent if they return home immediately and pass stringent drug tests. Reward coaches etc for increasing participation, not stringent selection.
Make Isinbaeva proud, and the pseudo-athletes envious.
Maria Sharapova , clearly unfairly targeted over a medicine she has taken for years .
Loved and admired all over the world .
Valentina Lisitsa , barred from playing with Toronto orchestra due to anonymous complaints .
Loved and admired all over the world .
Now this transparent targeting of Russian talent again .
These transparently cheezy and crass tactics will provoke a predictable back-fire . Perhaps provoke is the intended idea . These acts seem to speak of desperation , as if time is running out .
Beyond geo-politics , conquer Russia , Oded Yinon , PNAC ……who is it behind the vicious hatred of Russians , and why . Not enough is known of Khazar and old Samara history , not by me at least , but I sense this is an old struggle .
A friend of mine, former college wrestler and high school phys. ed. teacher, used to go to all the Olympics. He stopped going several cycles ago due to the distasteful commercialism. There may be many people who feel the same way, and would travel east to see a ‘competition’ devoid of the commercial onslaught and B.S. political overtones.
Personally, I’m w/ Anon. I couldn’t care less.
Remember Jim Thorpe. That will tell you all you need to understand the Olympics.
I give her comment 2 Thumbs up, Great Statement.
Oh and here is a thought we should all email Amerika teebee and tell them why we won’t be watching. What do you think?
She is a great athlete, untarnished throughout her career and heroic.
This disgrace by WADA and the IOC is sinful.
Even if a thousand athletes were doped and one was not, the one should compete.
This is heart-breaking for Isinbaeva. She is the greatest woman pole vaulter, and non-athletes from hateful Canada have smeared her with no hope to prove her excellence and innocence.
I despise WADA and the Canadians who trash great athletes and nations.
I trust Karma will be the retribution to smite them one day. Hopefully, soon. A disgusting nazi-haven is Canada. Whore to the US.
I used to like to watch spectacles like the Olympics and the Eurovision song festival. Just to relax. Moving pictures in the dark, after a day of work, worked like… fire gazing.
But now the pictures have a meaning: a song is about the supression and killing of, whatever, and the urine of Russian atheletes is so powerful that it makes holes in concrete walls (or even more absurd).
This disturbs me from my fire gazing in the evening. Which results in that I switch channels, or, because all the tv channels are propaganda outlets and produce crap (at best), that I turn of the tv and start to look for things that are more interesting and relaxing.
And so I started to read blogs like Saker’s, or start a discussion with friends or acquintances about why they politicize the Eurovision song festival or the Olympics. And so on and so forth. Which is even better than fire gazing, or talking about the Olympic gladiators. As I found out that understanding what the world is about is truly fulfilling. Which is a much better feeling than relaxation (like being comatose is what ‘relaxation’ actually was). Thanks to these idiotic interventions from, whoever, who wanted to put meaning to the flames that I used to look at while fire gazing.
And this is sad for the contestants of these spectacles who worked and trained so hard… But it is good for my own peace and world peace, which is, in the end, better for everyone.
This is one of those responses that invites the hefting of rotten eggs and tomatoes, but I’m going to say it.
Isinbaeva is completely right. She gives a beautiful response to completely unjust treatment instigated by Washington with assists to Canada, Britain and Italy.
I can’t speak for Britain and Italy, but I can give my perspective from Canada (just one person’s view on it.)
Has she considered what level of personal risk (totally unjust, unfair), she might face in Brazil?
Does Isinbaeva (and the rest of us) want Russian Americans and Russian Canadians to die for the sake of Russian athletes competing in these Olympics? In the US, totally innocent, blameless people are killed almost daily, for doing nothing, and with no repercussions to the police. That is the reality in the US right now. It is a full-on police state.
What would happen to Russian Canadians if the Canadian govt just stood up to Washington? What about the thousands of Canadian citizens who are in the US at any given moment of the day, on any given day? Are we a whore to the US? Frequently, yes, but the costs sometimes of not being a whore are very, very high. Russia can be independent – they are a superpower. Canada is not. And we share an extremely long border with a rabid police state.
What must be happening in ‘the halls of power’ in Washington for them to actively ban Russian athletes from the games? Does this action suggest stability and confidence? Are we going to deny how dangerous this is, even if it’s unjust and unfair?
This is not the first time the US has funked facing Russian athletes by trying to ban them from the Olympics. I seem to remember a similar tactic by the US about 40 years ago – manfully talked down by British athlete Seb Coe (now Lord Coe). Come on, Lord Seb, let’s hear from you again!
It would be nice if these Russian athletes could see past the wounded national pride and crushed feelings for a few minutes, to express a bit of solidarity with Russian Americans. Imagine the situation they are in right now.
Well, probably too early to even guess, but I’d not surprise that some criticism will start soon, whether it is safe in sport point of view (politics hidden behind) to allow world cup football 2018 in Russia?
Had somebody got flash such question on mind?
They have been targeting getting that removed from Russia for quite a while
One thing’s certain here: The Zionazis will be working tirelessly for the relocation, or even postponement, of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. For these folks, that would essentially amount to little more than a most pleasant routine matter or pastime of inventing some totally ludicrous, arrogant pretext for the stunt. Needless to say, the MSM sewer rats will instantly spread the joyous message loud and clear.
It’s absolutely impossible to imagine that the ZIonazis would ever miss such a truly splendid opportunity to insult and hurt Russia: By relocating/postponing the 2018 FIFA World Cup, they can sanctimoniously decree that, firstly, Russia cannot be given automatic qualification and, secondly, with the equally “irrefutable” corollary that — you guessed it — since Russia does not participate in the soon starting 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification, then Russia is out altogether.
I conclude by the following remarks: In case some high-ranking Western official with any influence in the subject matter should read this submission, I reiterate that the beautiful solution outlined here most likely has been around in the Zionazi community for quite some time; I just happened to be struck by its sheer brilliance. What I do have on offer all by myself is that nice little anti-Russian pretext to be passed on to the Ziomedia. To wit: Russia hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup is a form of applied racism as per Russia’s participation with an all white team. After all, we have to promote some “progressive” stuff here too, eh? As the televised banners at the stadiums read: “Say no to racism”. Don’t hesitate to demand another banner right beside on full display: “Say no to Russia”. Please give due cred to “Nussiminen” on Saker’s blog, thank you.
Happily,I was wrong on the IOC banning Russia from the Rio Olympics. Though that doesn’t change what I said before. I still think a “counter Olympic system” needs to be created. A Russian patriotic Duma member suggested that Russia resurrect the “Goodwill Games “. That were created in 1986 and lasted until 2005,when it was though the end of the first Cold War was permanent. But a 5th columnist in the Duma objected to the idea ,saying “international” (read Western) athletes wouldn’t be supportive. And to his 5th column mindset, that was the important matter. Once again we see the power of the 5th column in Russia to negatively influence affairs. I suspect until they can be purged from the Duma, nothing will be done supportive of Russia’s needs.
While the IOC decision was positive in itself. Once you take a “closer” look at it, I see questions. It said they “wouldn’t ban Russia from the games”. But left the decision on “which” athletes could compete”,to the respective international sports federations of that sport. So that “could” mean those individual federations would ban Russian competition in that particular sport’s competition at the games. It will depend on how much influence in each federation the West has.So I’m not sure whether Russia will be successful or not. I believe the IOC just “passed the buck” to those federations, to do the “dirty deed” for them. We’ll see in the coming days. If we are lucky, I’ll be wrong again on that.
Sadly, this is not the first time that Russian athletes have been targeted. The investigation into the fight between Los Angeles defenseman Slava Voynov was at first dropped, and then after an order for a further investigation marked the end of Voynov’s promising NHL career. Much worse activities by other NHL stars were dropped and quietly went away without any long investigations. Of course, they were all Americans and Canadians and included rape charges in one case. Amazing what happens when the Obama regime wants to do damage, isn’t it? And I remember all of the negative reports on Socchi. America can’t stand the competition. And if you want to know who is actually running US foreign policy, try George Soros and Zvignew Brzezinski (and his three siblings, who advise both the Republicans and the Democrats). Soros came out of Hungary and Brzezinski out of Poland. Both are in their 90s and regrettably, still going strong in their hate for Russia. So innocent Russians have to pay the price. They even cast suspicions on the Winter Olympic Russian wins. So yes, the summer Olympics have lost another viewer. And any imbalance of peaceful competition has flown out the window. America has revealed itself as a sore loser and worst, a back-biting excuse giver. Just think of the peace and quiet we could all have if not for the troublesome “beast in a sea of peoples.”
