Excellent article:
…It’s important to keep in mind that not only had Russia beaten the US to the punch on ABM, it had developed a suite of nuclear strike weapons which no plausible ABM system could stop. To make matters worse, PNAC’s dream of space dominance was shattered by the S-550 which was a Mach 25 missile capable of bringing down any space object. This weapon alone brings Russia absolute dominance and command of near space, including deployment of fractional orbit bombardment systems, and plausible space weapon and even ICBMs. The laser weapon, should it work, also suggested that Russia had advanced its physical model of the atom beyond the understanding of the west’s and is capable of waging space warfare below the threshold of all-out war. Should that threshold be crossed however, if Russia builds these advanced weapons in sufficient numbers, it would have both first and second strike capability…

Not an easy scenario for Russia. NATO in a few days to attack Belarus with a massive strike. Reason (the presumtion Belarus prepared an attack to Poland and Baltic States). NATO hopes with the help of an inside revolution to end the regim in Belarus. That would be a huge victory agains Russia. If the revolution don’t work, it still is a big hit because Russia has to spend big resources to defend Belarus. That means: no flight zone and army personnel to help Belarus maintain frontiers (only 220.000 people gathered through mobilisation until now). From Poland and other states will come lots of rockets and if Russia hit the teritory of those countries we have a 3rd WW. Hungary and Bulgaria will revert to Russian side and with the help of Serbia will isolate Romania, which is in its advantage because there would be no need for an attack of Russia on Romanian teritory since it poses no threats. Maximum a strike to some military bases just for intimidation. But economicaly… it is a hard core hit for Russia. For NATO it is not so expensive to hit Belarus in a few raids. They always can tell it is against the dictature in Belarus, not against Russia.
Nato American base that you have in Romania with the Aegis that’s definitely getting knocked out
NATO hopes! (H)opium is always last to die and you appear full of it.
Complete delusion.
Russia is already inside Belarus with well over 10,000 elite troops, S-400s, Iskanders and MiG-31s (6 of them) carrying Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
Poland won’t be there 15 minutes after an attack on Belarus. The Baltics will disappear in 10 minutes.
As for NATO’s army, it doesn’t exist. There is a proxy army it has been using for 8.5 years in Ukraine, but it has lost 500,000 troops in eight months, and is losing 500 per day.
No one is going to touch Belarus. Just as no one is going to touch Kaliningrad. Russia will wipe them off the map.
The 500 seems a very lowball number sir, it’s at least double that, and were not counting Wagner’s wet work in Artemivsk , which the UAF must replenish weekly.
– NATO in a few days to attack Belarus with a massive strike.
You have misunderstood
As stated by Micheal Hudson the war is not NATO vs. Russia …
The war is vs. Europa and Russia.
The sabotage of NS1+2 is against Germany.
Russiais part of a military treaty Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) any thing happens to Belarus they can invoke it.
@Giordany
I really like this scenario which could lead to a lasting peace. This could be done without war, by wisdom, and everyone would find an honorable way out: Belarus is integrated into the West, in exchange Ukraine reintegrates into Russia. Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania and Moldova are closing in on Russia. Poland, the Baltic countries and Belarus form a homogeneous entity standing out from the rest of the EU, which is ultimately held accountable for having caused the failure of the pacifist Minsk agreements, because this failure led to war.
Your conjecture is so patently ignorant it is laughable.
NATO doesn’t have the equipment, having given much of their gear to Ukraine where it has been converted to scrap. They don’t have the manpower with a bunch of tiny, uncoordinated national armies that speak different languages. And finally they don’t have the balls to openly attack Russia let alone a steadfast ally of the RF.
If you open your eyes you may notice that the same applies to NATO’s puppetmaster, the US.
Belarus is a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and if attacked the full force of Russia would be available to defend it. And as you clearly haven’t noticed, large contingents of RF forces have and are continuing to move into Belarus.
LoL!
Russia is a very difficult country to conquer militarily, because it has a very large land area three times the size of the US. Moreover, it is very difficult terrain, covered in snow and ice half the year and a dearth of good roads. The Trans Siberian Railroad can easily be shut down if necessary.
Both Napoleon in 1812 and Germany in 1941 were unsuccessful in their attempts, and suffered humiliating defeats with the loss of thousands of their soldiers. The US and NATO still face the same problems. They will not succeed with missiles either, because Russia has a dearth of good targets outside Moscow and St Petersburg.
But now the Russians have the capacity to obliterate the attacker’s power centres many thousands of klms away; the French and German invaders didn’t have that to worry about.
Dima @MS has spoken with his ‘friends’ in Kiev, Ukraine (not to be confused with his friends in Lvov), and he reckons, due to the daily RF forces aviation gifts, the civilian population are turning on Zelensky. Many are asking why Minsk2 was not complied with and demanding to know the status of their loved ones on the frontline.
Every city in Ukraine needs to understand the consequences of their regime’s actions. They must feel and share what Donetsk civilians feel. This will increase the pressure on the government in Ukraine. Thankfully, Surovikin understands the psychological damage he’s inflicting.
Dima ends with this powerful chestnut. Ukraine is a much more democratic country than Russia; I’ve had my suspicions about him for some time, now they’re confirmed. How can this person, earning a living as a war correspondent, not know that Ukraine is a satellite state of America? When UAF use civilians as human shields, is this how he defines democracy?
Dima has a Ukrainian wife. He says she makes him keep his Military Summary videos balanced.
There’s balanced and then there’s unhinged.
In a ‘democracy’ you don’t line-up and execute civilians, especially when the crime is for as little as accepting food handouts.
If it was Russia who’d been shelling civilians in Ukraine, you’d never hear the end of it.
Only weak cowards use their wives an an excuse for their actions.
Dima also said today that up 40% of the Donbass population favors these regions staying with Ukraine.
From here on forward, I’m dropping the last letter in his name.
Military Summary is great for the tactical developments of the conflict, and Dima has a lot of interesting opinions and speculations. Sometimes he’s right and sometimes wrong, but he’s always interesting. The real plans of the Russian Ministry of Defence are not available to us, and speculation is often the only thing we have.
It is unfair to judge Dima harshly on the basis of a few poorly worded statements.
Besides, we don’t measure how good a country is by how “democratic” it is, whatever that means. If 51% of a certain population votes to kill the 49%, it’s democratic, but not just. Democracies are vulnerable to being manipulated by dirty politicians, and by the media. The dangers of democracy were pointed out by the ancient Greeks, and by the founding fathers in the US.
Alluding to the failed terrorist puppet regime of Ukraine as a democracy shows ignorance on a grand scale.
According to my understanding of the main point of this video, the US had no plans for an eventual Ukrainian win in this war. By extension, this must mean they had no plans for an eventual Russian loss. So what was/is it all about?
And this brings me to a point I have made before. While a Russian loss would certainly have been welcomed in Washington, and they would have descended on Russia like a pack of devouring jackals, their primary focus was elsewhere.
In short, Europe.
I think, and more strongly then ever, that the US’ primary focus was to prevent an alignment between an industrial Europe (Germany primarily), Russia and China. To that end, they brought in sanctions thinking they would cripple Russia – they didn’t – and out right theft of Russia’s wealth held in the international financial system.
When there was a beginning mummer of a walk back on the sanctions by Germany to ease their by now critical energy shortage, the Nord Stream pipes were blown.
The results to date are Germany crippled, the EU crippled, the Euro crippled, a color revolution in Britain, France in revolt and a new government in Italy. Ukraine is toast.
Oops!
A further development is that Russia and Turkey are negotiating a gas hub which will not only be Europe’s supply of gas, but which will also set the future price. So, after thirty years of failing to be allowed into the EU, Turkey will now be dictating how much European countries pay for their energy.
Oops!
And one further development is that Saudi Arabia is increasingly selling its oil in currencies other than the US dollar. Given that so much of the US’ financial clout is dependent on the petro-dollar, this represents a serious erosion of their global power and their ability to sanction anyone at all.
Double oops!
Many own goals there LOL
Well, as to the first half of your post, I agree there never was a plan to win vs Russia. So, what was the intent? The destruction of the European economy meshes better with the BBB the WEF had been promoting. With main street businesses destroyed there will be a mass of cheap property to rebuild cubical housing to meet the BBB agenda.
WEF’s business model is Public/Private partnership, which is just code for Government money into billionaires’ pockets.
BBB looks to be the permanent escape hatch needed to deal with permanent inflation with a dying currency. Once they move from a debt backed monetary system to “digital money”, there will no longer be that pesky record of national debt from deficit spending. Sunk cost loans in cubical housing will be inflated away making the investment extremely lucrative.
Given the duration of the attack on carbon with bunk science, the fall of Western society had significant advance planning.
Military Summary said today that Ukraine air defense is a fake, and that Russia can bomb Ukraine at will.
He, also, said that according to his many friends in Kiev, this latest strike has caused many Ukrainians to turn on Zelensky
Well, there are two things when you have no electricity. Zelensky cannot spread propaganda so people will be forced to talk rather than absorb fake news. Food rotting in the fridge is not going to make people happy either.
There are lots of videos of solders trying to shoot down drones with small arms fire. What goes up must come down and raining lead in the city is not a good idea. Death by friendly fire will be the new thing.
I think Putin has played this perfectly so far. The months long not too aggressive start was not setting off alarms and gave the West an extended period to embarrass themselves. Then coming on strong right before the US elections is a master stroke.
Drones look to be the future of combined opps warfare. It takes a lot of money and effort to train a solider, maintain training plus food medical and death benefits. These may turn out to be the new wonder weapon.
The hullabaloo emanating from NATO regarding Iranian drones to Russia breaking sanctions is hilarious. 40+ countries are sending WMDs to Ukraine, but Russia must stand alone.
F*ck NATO!
@bertdilbert
The Earth’s axis is currently tilted 23.4 degrees, or about half way between its extremes, and this angle is very slowly decreasing in a cycle that spans about 41,000 years. It was last at its maximum tilt about 10,700 years ago and will reach its minimum tilt about 9,800 years from now.
The greater the earth’s axis tilt, the fewer daylight hours there are in the northern hemisphere in winter. This maximum roughly coincides with last ice age. It also means that the warming of the northern hemisphere will not end until another 10,000 years have elapsed. The southern hemisphere is now on average 4 deg C colder than the northern hemisphere most likely due to the circumpolar ocean current around the Antarctic land mass.
@bert
Bunk science LOL :-)

What you are stating corresponds to
Zbigniew Brzezinski’s: “My War – Confession of a Nazi”
– Zbigniew Brzezinski tackles this question head-on in this incisive and pathbreaking book. The My War – Confession of a Nazi presents Brzezinski’s bold and provocative geostrategic vision for American preeminence in the twenty-first century. Central to his analysis is the exercise of power on the Eurasian landmass, which is home to the greatest part of the globe’s population, natural resources, and economic activity
The plan seems to have been to use Ukraine to attack ethnic Russians in a way forcing Russia to intervene.
The plan was then to use tensions within Russia to do a Regime change, leading to loss of unified territorial control. Forment seperatism withing regions for disintegration. If things got rolling, you could have Finland rolling in an grabing lost territory. Not to mention the Baltics. Poland eating up Belarus. Ukrain going on an expedition to Mosow and beyond. Georgia settle outstanding matters. Mess in Armenia/Aserbaijan. Turkey. Kazakstan. + All mess in all the other former central asian republicks. Pumped up with ISIS moving in from Afgansistan and syria.
With Eurasia on fire, Empire would be able to move in and grab control over resourses and create a front against china + have a handle on critical resources needed by them. There would be no need for worrying about EU breaking away, and NS could be reopened. Now under Empire contol.
At some point it was realised that the operation went south, I think the turning point can be marked by the blowing up of the NS system. Empire is cutting it’s losses, fastening it’s grip on its vassals and consolidating its position. It will need to fight tooth and nail to preserve its financial power. If that goes, all is lost.
We all understand there will be economic collapse then food shortage everywhere. Now 600 top end Dutch farms are going to be shut down = creating food shortage
This is the direct consequence of the Green Agenda.
Without Russian Energy, there is no alternative.
Blinken think it is a wonderful opportunity.
I see they have already started teaching kids eating bugs in school.
Wonderful opportunity, the American way.
In the context of global rescession no one will care about Green Agenda … it will be burning trash and wood and coal and as Greta Thunberg stated
– I don’t think existing nuclear power plants should be closed down
Our nazis cannot get everything, like both financial gains and wipeout of wealth and population.
Klaus Schwab will be sacked (imagine the mood among Germans when they have no heat left).
What will happen to businesses selling el-cars in current climate? They will be bankrupted
No to worry comrade, the Americans will be flooding the shelves with Monsanto’s GMO garbage. We’ll be as fat and stupid as them in a few decades.

Venezuelans are just as bad as Americans. Madagascar is different.
As far as I can see, the CIA cultivated the Nazi culture in Ukraine post WW2 in order to foment resistance against the USSR. In 1991 when Americans and Russians both were excited to be friends again, the CIA, necons, and Ukrainian diaspora in the US combined to keep the enmity alive. In neocon doctrine, no other country must ever have enough power to challenge the US. Neocons are currently in power in the Biden administration. Several months ago I saw a report on a CIA plan expecting Ukraine to become a failed state in order to allow the Ukrainian Nazis to become a Taliban-like insurgency against Russia. I think all the talk about the breakup and partitioning of Russia is what they have in mind.
– In neocon doctrine, no other country must ever have enough power to challenge the US.
It is from Brzezinski. Brzezinski predates Neocon by a generation. Then RAND has copied Brzezinski.
Brzezinski was Obama’s mentor.
From the news
– Here are the US authorities to whom the RAND document was addressed
LEAK RAND DOCUMENT
The document, which appears to be an exceptional internal leak from the pro-government think tank RAND Corporation, is addressed to the highest political leadership in the United States.
Among the recipients are the White House Chief of Staff, the State Department, the intelligence service CIA, the security service NSA and the board of the Democratic Party.

America don’t have friends, only interessts.
OSS/CIA was supporting Ukrainian Nazis fighting in USSR during WW2 up until 1959, when the KGB assasinated Bandra in West Germany. No Nuremberg for that guy.
They also supported leftover Nazis fighting in the Baltics for many years after the end of WW2.
You are presumably referring to Soros and Victoria Nuland as “neocon”.
Victoria Nuland
– CEO of The Center for a New American Security (CNAS, founded 2007)
– The administration of President Barack Obama hired several CNAS employees for key jobs.[7]
True John, Syrian Pres. Assad stated that in the 1950’s the CIA asked the US Administration to reclassify Ukrainian Nazis domiciled in the US after WWII so they could be shipped back to Ukraine to be used to help destabilize the former USSR in the Cold War – on Memri TV on YT
That’s how long this agenda has been ongoing.
All good points, AND not or, also think of the US’ strategy in its previous major wars:
– Korean, an official declaration of peace has never been issued by the US
– Vietnam, 1963 – 75
– A’stan, 2001 – 21
– Iraq, 2003 – current
Political prisoner, Julian Assange on Prolonged Wars let the cat out of the bag:
“The goal is to use Afghanistan* to wash money out of the tax bases of the US and Europe, through Afghanistan, and back into the hands of a transnational security elite. The goal is an endless war, not a successful war”
* insert the name of the targeted nation, currently Ulraine
… and
[In the collective West] “People will reach maturity and adulthood, under the understanding that there is always a war, and at that point, war will not be something that is unusual or surprising, or horrifying. War will become the new normal.”
… and
“The negative trajectory is a transnational surveillance state, drone-riddled, the networked Neo-feudalism of the transnational elite … how can a normal person be free within that system?”

DID AN ESCALATION IN THE EAST/WEST WAR TO ANOTHER HUGE FRONT JUST BECOME INEVITABLE?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msWdTkygw9Y
2:00 Xi Jinping opened the CCPs Congress announcing that China’s control of Hong Kong is now complete and that Taiwan is next on their list.
3:38 Will the new war front be Taiwan then? This looks decidedly ominous given the recent US sanctions announcement.
5:10 According to Clayton Morris, Biden’s new sanctions reduced China’s semiconductor manufacturing industry to zero overnight.
What island provides the largest number of chips in the world… of course its takeover and control would immediately restore China’s chip dominance?
This looks like a very serious development to me
Col
“…Biden’s new sanctions reduced China’s semiconductor manufacturing industry to zero overnight. What island provides the largest number of chips in the world…”
As is said, there are no coincidences in geopolitics!
Imagine if China did sanctions back like say AP Moeller (Maersk) ships not being able to dock in Asian ports. AP Moeller is the largest employer in Denmark. Then MSC ships (France), Macron would have a cow!
Those are the two biggest shipping companies in the world. That would give a new level supply chain crisis that the West so badly fears.
As the West further implodes, there is going to be an oversupply of ships anyway. Might as well start picking winners and losers. IMO it is only a matter of time before worldwide overproduction will be corrected by chaos in SK and Japan.
…and then the video turned into an huge infomertial for some gold futures marketing outfit….The transition from Chinese chip manufacturing to gold speculation was remarkable.
Yeah, Larry… good point… that sudden transition to hard sell certainly rang some alarm bells for me… that was why I phrased my heading as a question.
A lot of what I heard was very plausible, but I have no history to go on of how reliable Mr Morris is likely to be.
I am sure there will be some very sharp minds here that can give us some idea on this score
Cheers and thanks
Col
Nothing to worry about Col.
– Xi has reiterated China’s “peaceful reunification” w/ Chinese Taipei
– At worst sanctions n semiconductors will put China back 2 years, but China is already the largest producer of chips in the world.
– Pelosi’s ‘visit’ (read provocation) has given mainland China to block Chinese Taipei’s sea & air approaches
– Tsai has recently announced that she wants to work w/ mainland China:
https://www.scmp.com/news/china/politics/article/3195411/taiwan-calls-mainland-china-cooperate-cross-strait-peace-while
– China really doesn’t want war, it wants to continue its development & trading for mutual benefit via BRI. It will take a bloody nose before it retaliates
These are just some points.
I hear you Uncle Davey and sincerely hope you are right.
However, I try to never underestimate the delusional idiocy of the lunatics in the western halls of power.”
They routinely believe their own propaganda and lies, and with all of their branches and agencies being so utterly fragmented and uncoordinated, there are so many contingencies.
Behind all of this are the banksters who have kept WW1 ticking over for 108 years. This is all about nobbling European/Russian/Asian integration in a last-ditch effort to maintain Western financial and military hegemony.
This is an existential war for the Zone A western financial kleptocrats to keep control of the globe… as such I wouldn’t put anything past these lunatics.
Cheers
Col
Zion is the core decision maker network. Through secret society channels they captured long ago they run all the institutions. All public figures are just the doormen, Zion owns the building. Some of them are driven by a desire to preserve and increase their power and others are simply fulfilling their Torah/Talmudic destiny. Whichever different passion drives them they converge on the same goal, ownership of the world. As crazy as this goal may sound, they have skills developed over centuries, and vast global networks of participants who do not know what they are participating in, and of course unlimited financial depth. Ironically they were born in Russia and ruined Russia for a century. Now they are ruining the West and endangering the world with Armageddon, which they don’t want, but shit happens. Putin is an unusual man. He seems to be the one true national leader that is not a doorman. He will not be able to denazify without dezioning because although few in number, they are the core Nazi decision makers and they want Russia’s head on a stick. Gentile deaths inuntold numbers mean nothing to them to get it. Fortunately Russia is as good at war as Zionists are good at subterfuge. All war in underpinned by strong economics. Russia would benefit from unleashing the potential power of private small and medium enterprises but unfortunately bureaucrats and political figures the world over know nothing about how to do this. But still Russia is very resource rich and her oligarchs are extracting the wealth and using a significant part of it to defend Russia.
Its an error to conflate Talmudic zionists with Torah (Orthodox Jews).
2 points:
1. Orthodox jews believe that Israel is an immoral state as they cannot be given a homeland until the Messiah arrives (wh/ it is their belief, that he hasnt yet)
2. Zionism is a contradictory ideology as all Jews are supposed to convert “at the end of times” See Revelations
Of course, every dog and its tennis ball has re-interpreted / misinterpreted the passage to suit their own agenda.
Russia needs to air drop pamphlets to NATO forces naming the evil elites who have put them in harms way.
Soros, Obama, Biden, EU Leaders etc… and outline all the issues over Ukraine.
It wouldnt surprise me their best forces have been deliberately put there by those elites so they do get wiped out in this conflict so there are no competent military forces left to hunt them down and arrest them after the dust settles.
If powerful Russian weapons do go off we must ask just how many NATO ground forces will in fact be left in UKN ?
That will be last resort for Putin but may be necessary, and the guilty party is ultimately those western elites intent on attacking Russia.
Agree with you about the axis tilt due to the precession. The period, though, is moot: unless you know someone who has lived through and measured one complete cycle?
One theory is the precession is precisely 72 x 360 = 25920 earth years. This is divided into 12 ages, giving 2160 years for each age. If the Bible is correct, then these periods coincide, and we are in transition from the age of Pisces into the age of Aquarius.
Agree also; as the Earth’s axis proceeds through the precession, the axis tilt will alter. The change in tilt will have a great effect upon the Earth’s climate: a point that is never mentioned in the climate-change debates.
Precession of the earth’s slightly elliptical orbit has some influence on climate, but it is relatively minor compared with variations in the axis tilt from 22.1 to 24.5 degrees to the vertical.
Inverted imbalance of the land masses to ocean area (70:30 ratio) in the north and south hemispheres is the underlying main cause of changes, but the triggers can be ice building on the poles combined with or alt solar electro-magnetic energy and planetary orbital positions (incl rogue planets) also timed with what going on under the Earth mantle.
Trying to cool the planet down as they are attempting at the moment may result in too much ice in south pole eventually causing a axis flip sooner than it would. Southern hemisphere has gone cold in the past 12 months. Most of the ice is down there.
Had we had not burned so much coal oil etc the past 150 yrs the flip may have already occurred.
Ice ages occur usually every 8000-10000 yrs and we were due for one 100 yrs ago.
The recent problem is too much short term heat in the north. Caused by UV mainly.
Overall – Multiple issues to do with Earth axis and climate, and conflicting causes and alleged solutions.
True causes not being accepted or addressed.
Too many alleged experts not seeing the overall picture.
World is probably doomed.
Like doctor giving wrong medicine to cure illness.
RT
– Russia wants to ‘destroy’ the West – EU member’s spy agency
“Russia has branded us as its enemy. And Russia wants to destroy its enemy, that is us, NATO and the Western community,” Koudelka told a panel of intelligence officials and experts hosted by the Czech parliament last week. Moscow “will use all the means, all the possibilities it has” to achieve this goal, he claimed.
This is how RT presents the world. In case of the RAND ducument (telling the opposite) it is branded as “fake” by RT.
RAND document is in line with Zbigniew Brzezinski: – If Europa and Russia become prosperous we cannot control them any more, and there will be no reason to have NATO
As usual Andrei is spot on. I have to search for unbiased reports of this nature living in the UK, the State Regime BBC propoganda thinks we are all thick like our recent Prime Minister Liz Truss who will be in Office for the shortest time ever in British History! The latest BBC broadcast yesterday showed one of senior reporters in Kiev wearing a crisp white shirt and tie with black suit standing on a building trying to tell us that Russia is bombing innocent civilians in Kiev. Now this is definitely a new look for a war correspondent in a war zone don’t you think. No vest or helmet 🤔 UK barely has 200,000 troops, our country like America is on the brink of economic melt down. Just like the Kiev regime who control the media outlets the people are left watching Strictly Come Dancing, Big Brother, and I’m a Celebrity get me out of here! Says it all.. but all is not lost their are those in UK who see whats happening and we are wide awake….
Problem is my friend many of our population are just too far gone for any critical thinking,i am also British and to see what we have been reduced to as a Nation makes me sick, even as we face winter and possible power cuts etc, many of the zombified just don’t see the hybrid war our so called Government has been engaged in against Russia is the main reason, even now they listed to the BBC and Sky etc,the MSM are a total disgrace, they lie for a living and the so called journalists are just propagandists masquerading as journalists.
Mr. Martyanov has, IMO, badly misinterpreted Ms.Applebaum’s statement. Rather than implying that the West, i.e., the American empire fears a Ukrainian victory, it seems to me that she is simply saying that the West should drop whatever other costly projects they may be pursuing, and concentrate on funding military aid to the Ukraine, because, it is of the utmost importance for the balance of power-read continuation of the status quo- to thereby defeat Russia.
I think that she is also saying that it’s not a wise move to destroy Germany’s economy. That in re America ‘s long term goals, It would be better to leave its industry in a position to supply Ukraine with necessary armaments.
But how can anyone think that no matter how well supplied with NATO weapons, the Ukraine could prevail over Russia?
I don’t think she is delusional. It’s best not to underestimate your enemies. She undoubtedly realizes the relative strengths of the contending parties, but is motivated by 2 factors.
1. Even if Russia cannot be defeated, militarily, they can be weakened and distracted. Western propaganda within the RF is intense, and a prolonged conflict may create profound domestic unrest.
2. I would look for a financial connection between her family and the munitions industry.
It is at the point to say the west fears the consequences of beating Russia in Ukraine.
If that beating would constitute in an even more massive US/NATO influx of weapons and soldiers it would lead to a massive retaliation on the US/UK and more.
And like Michael Hudson has been saying since last winter the US goes for the second best, to destroy the European competitor..
And it seems to work.
Considering how confused the public is, it appears logical to push the current type of propaganda and to prolong the war.
Even the sabotage actions were slightly less devastating than they could have been.
I think it was planned that way to avoid an escalation to deniable sabotage actions in the US/UK.
They let Russia sense that they have the situation under control and feed the Europeans with lies so they continue along the suicidal path.
I dont know but I wonder if all the talk about the US risking to break up is a feint in order to divert attention from what they do to Europe.
I’m pretty sure that the upcoming US elections will – like all other US elections – change nothing. They will replace a few stooges, rearrange some chairs, and then it will be busines as usual. The same interests will continue to manage the country’s affairs for their own interest.
Domestic decline in every measurable metric will accelerate towards collapse. When the banks get bailed out again the country may very well – and absolutely should – go into open revolt.
