Expect more to switch sides soon whan they (the msm)will not be able to hide the ukie collapse.
Yes, Roger got that one wrong, but to call him an “opportunist” shows that you know nothing about Roger and his life or that you are just the typical “first comment” troll.
At the very least, we can suppose that you 1) never made a mistake or got something wrong and 2) that you never changed your mind.
I see where this is going. I can’t listen to CNN. It’s Bravo-Sierra Maximus. I quit about 8 seconds in.
I don’t see why Roger bothered. But I give him credit. I would not give a CNN orc the time of day.
Roger told the interviewer Michael Smerkonish (spelling?) he was a propagandist. Roger was quite right.
Michael performed the required superior, amused chuckle whenever his questions, reflecting western narratives, were challenged. Simply, quite literally, laughed off Roger’s responses. Unable to deny return accusations, he tried to pretend it wasn’t relevant to his line of questioning. I can understand why Roger became frustrated.
Personally, I believe you have to listen to both sides of a story before you can understand the argument.
But such is the standard of post-journalism. Sensible intellectual/moral debates are a fringe thing now, if not outright verboten, instead there are government-approved echo chambers. The Overton window is getting smaller.
Obey! War is Peace! Freedom is Slavery! Ignorance is Strength! It’s Hate Week!
The ‘Fourth Estate’ (in Yankee Doodle-Dandee terms) was meant to guarantee independent voices, to be able critically analyze government statements. Hence the very first amendment to the US constitution (you know…that thing).
Apparently irrelevant these days. It’s all turned on its head. Websites like this, Moon of Alabama, Consortium News, Wikileaks, anything counterpointing the deep state-approved narrative are labelled ‘Un-American’, and therefore must necessarily be disinformation sites.
If Joseph Goebbels was still alive, he’d be wetting his panties right now.
Waters is a gentleman with a conscience.
The other fellow is a hack with a superiority complex.
Whenever someone says “oh, come on” as a retort to a genuine point, you know that they are relying on received wisdom.
It is weird—really, a failure of intellect, or logic, or common sense—that CNN-man thinks he can enjoy Waters’s “hits” while ignoring the content of the songs. Who would say he can enjoy Dylan’s “hits” while ignoring what the songs say?
Actually, Waters is of course a far greater man than Dylan.
But, just saying.
This Michael fellow is not making sense.
Waters handled him pretty well, and it is Waters who set the tone and ended the interview (at least what was shown here) with generosity and humanity.
Of course, Waters is a practiced performer with good timing, so he knew how to do this. Take control.
I liked the way Waters hammered basic facts at that Michael Smerconish Propagandist resulting in his face turning red with a very uncomfortable smile. That’s what a face of a Propagandist looks like when they are put in their place.
Waters is a good guy but a little naive – the whole thing is about stopping the mass exodus from the Rothschilds $US and the Rothschilds EURO – which the 148 nation strong BRI and BRICS are currently facilitating !

Remember… JOURNALISM is NOT the same thing reporting.
Journalism is “building a narrative” regardless of what the facts are.
Well, no.

Thankyou Willa for the ‘not four minute’ version.

Michael will see this if he views the interview.
I [heart] Roger Waters.
