2008, the dawn was Obama, and he dashed it all to pieces, and ignited the deathmatch of Tyranny of the Deep State against the very rise of the People. The Spring of Obama was the bursting of the seedpod of chaos, terror, annihilation and deceit.
Roger Water’s reading of some great thoughts of common man in a poem that ran into a Globalist Cult, weaponized with powers of Internet, Nukes, EMPs, Lies and Terrorism as its spearhead. Hope turned memorial in eight years.
The endless struggle for justice and peace is a process, like all of Nature, that has its cycles.
We are left with the Titans, godless Elites and hopeful Eurasianists, working through the wars and conflicts that maim humanity in ceaseless chaos.
Like flotsam and jetsam, the waves take us across the vast oceans of Time, our lifetime, and toss us against soft beaches and rock-hard shores, by chance.
Choice is not much in our power. Fate and destiny seem to rule these seas.
Our lot is with Putin or Hegemon. One walks with the Cross and a spiritual connection to Nature; the other is cast with insatiable hunger to devour all Life.
Which current is strongest is yet to be tallied.
Windward or leeward we are pushed and pulled, our will of no consequence. The oceans rule, and no safety is found on land, either. The plates shift and shake from the demigods’ bombs, MOABs, JDAMS or nukes, and ferocious fracking jets.
Our days are turned nightmares, our nights are fright shows.
Powerless and despairing, we hesitate to implore our Creator or review the wisdom of sages.
Take action, stop and listen, explore the other, make peace in small places, your heart.
All we can civilize is each other.
Cast off the dead weight of ideology and embrace the sunrise, the breeze and skies above.
Connect with the Cosmos, the ineffable. The mysteries are meant as touchstones. Delve into love, the greatest of all gifts.
How do we know when we are truly loving? When we love something more than one’s self. So long as the spiritual forces are able to flow outward toward another, or even a thing, the individual escapes the trap of introversion.
Perhaps one of the best ways to come into contact with a sense of one’s higher self is to sing or chant, the word, HU, pronounced like the word “hue”, gently sung in a drawn out manner. Some of the earliest mentions of the word, or vibration can be found in the writings of 13th century Persian poet Rumi. HU is also known in the English language, and forms the basis of many English words such as “HU-man Being” or God-man Being, Humility, Humor, even “post-humous” ie; after life, HU, has exited and we are left with the clay shell.
Btw. the HU does not belong to any particular path or religion. It can be compared to the AUM or OM of the Buddhists and is simply an effective tool and an offering, on my behalf to anyone who would like to experince themselves as more than a personality. In my estimation, certainly more effective than The Lord’s Prayer. At best, The HU is capable of aligning the individual’s various psychic bodies behind the spiritual body, or Soul, so that we are able to operate as an integrated individual. We do not have a Soul, we have a mind which is a good servant, but a very, very bad master. Today’s chaos is the result of people who have given themselves over entirely to the mind, often personified as Satan.
This is ok Western-style self loathing/lauding until it gets stupid and nihilist at the end. An “Ape of God”. I prefer Georg Kreisler’s cabaret song “Wir Sind alle Terroristen” (YT link below) :
das alle Menschen seit Jahrhunderten versaut;
Weißt du, was das heißt: Polizeipräsident?
Weißt du, was das heißt: Infanterieregiment?
Was heißt Kommissar, Kabinett oder Bundeskanzler? Macht heißt es!
Was heißt Parlament oder Bürgermeister? Immer nur gib acht, heißt es!
Andere bestimmen, ob du stirbst oder ob du lebst;
andere bestimmen, was du denkst und wonach du strebst –
While Comey does a double switcheroo giving Clinton a get out of jail card by bactracking on his sworn statement regarding Trump and obstruction of justice and vomitijg up the nonsense of doubts about intent paralleling as it were with schtick last year with Hillary.
Really good rant poem, only a slight bit flawed by putting Putin in a same purgatory or hell with some devilish nasties, because he’s on a big stage and Roger is on a smaller one, speaking to us on our even smaller ones, stirring conscience.
So, that’s a bit off. But it is useful that it wasn’t rejected for this audience appreciative of Russia.
Roger’s effort is an effort many, many more should make, (and most are here, in prose….and a growing few, in the Moveable Feast Café…………….knowing and never fearing that they will make mistakes……………, for .”Poets are the moral legislators of the world.” (Schiller) and in a sort of fashion, Putin is of that guild. Though his works are not so subject to recitation as Pushkin’s are, there is poetry in them! in the sense that they inspire creativity and courage in others.
Poems are sounds in the air we breath, not merely silent pronunciations in our minds taken from letters on a page.
The great difficulty most Americans have with recitation has various causes, but generally speaking it is best explained by their difficulty with thought itself, the common tendency to bounce off the surface of things that have great depth, including good or even very great poetry.
So they rush through it like a flat stone skipping over the surface of a pond. Embarrassing!
But work it through like your English cousin Roger has. It’s worth the effort. The embarrassment will fade as the capacity to think and recite, first in private (playing back a recording, and noting what is good and what is weak…) and then in intimate or public settings with others. Capacity to bring out more and more will increase, fear and adrenaline will retreat. And then go deeper. Know some poetic works so well that, as an exercise, you could recite them at any speed, from very fast to extremely slow and always have the whole idea in mind, as your guide. Play with speed, rhythm, volume and all other variables until a firecracker going off would not abort the rebirth of that creation.
Know the historical context, and realize that the metaphor is infinite, it lives and changes with every reading, every revisiting, every passing day, every different context, place and time. Every new context that will tomorrow be a newer, more recent historical context.
“Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian Spring.”
But too few go deep. They think that’s a desperation move, a “Hail Mary”.
The English common man like Roger Waters or Paul joseph Watson or Thomas Paine has always had a deeper appeal than his more parochial and primitive American cousin. Their spirit has better and longer survived a crushing oligarchy many Americans have been able to get away with ignoring most of their lives.
That’s impossible in the “old country” of origin. Whether British, French, German, Dutch, etc…. They bear the weight daily. Most are crushed under the weight. Especially English.
But some are stronger, deeper and feistier for bearing it so long.
Most Americans are only slowly becoming aware that something even more deleterious than excess body fat has in fact been weighing them down, much of their lives.
Thanks for posting, Saker or Saker team. Any link to the words……other Waters Works?
Most people want the same things. There is potential for a populist wave to set humanity on the right track. But for that to happen we would have to overcome what Alex Jones, the snake oil salesman who sometimes speaks words of truth, used to call “the false left vs right paradigm”. That false paradigm is the kool aide that keeps us divided and easy prey.
Pink Floyd were completely Brilliant at Manchester City Football Club…except that I go to the bar – and they only have alcohol free beer on sale..Personally I thought Hawkwind were better and most of them are still alive and gigging..Meanwhile I wrote this….it will probably get deleted – and no I am not a Russian – I come from Oldham, Lancashire, England UK
Craig, At the moment, I can’t stop agreeing with nearly everything you write. Do not write such words as yours on a BBC website or you will be in big trouble.
I personally do not watch TV and have never written anything on a BBC website. It seems now is the time to start.
How about this –
The BBC is one of the most corrupt media organizations in the World, and many of its current employees should be on trial for war crimes against humanity. The evidence is overwhelming that the BBC has been publishing lies, totally false propaganda, and even fabricating “news” events. The BBC does this is in order to deceive politicians and the general public to promote war against the totally innocent. The BBC is a Criminal Organization. The Police should take action against it, and its employees. The people in control of The BBC, and many employed by the BBC should stand Trial in a Court of Law.
‘Get thee to a nunnery, go. Farewell.’ For off topic offending comment – hie away forsooth – BBC will shop viewers to their BOSS if they post ‘offensive’ online comments in shock new policy blasted as ‘Orwellian’ by privacy campaigners
Plenty of good points in the poem, but as I watch the media attempting a coup, I wonder whether Roger could have imagined a president who’d wanted to leave other countries unmolested being targeted with lies by the media – and those media talking heads being cheered on by a previously unimaginable confluence of student activists and warmongers. Also, there’s nothing wrong with a healthy fear of a religion – the immutable founding text of which commands “slay the unbelievers wherever you find them”. His naive tolerance of all religions is demonstrably not reciprocated in those foreign countries where it dominates and won’t be reciprocated here should they be allowed to metastasize in the way they hope to. That, of course, doesn’t mean we should try to fix them with a proper bombing. Just leave them in their own countries with their own barbaric culture that their barbaric religion spawned.
paul made a smart comment about the left right paradigm.
It is hurting the world badly. The emergence of Trump helps with this divide and conquer tactic. It is, sadly, very effective. Even worse, five years ago or so the smart websites/youtubers were focusing on the ruling elite as a whole and now many have been reduced to Trump or anti-Trump. It’s very sad, because the focus should really be on Banksters.
I used to be into Webster Tarpley big time but he has often reduced himself into a Democratic Party shill and has barely mentioned the banksters in two years.
The stupid fight between the Young Turks and Alex Jones is another example.
There are also some intellectual default positions smart people fall back on that still make no sense. Global warming is one for example. We have had temperatures remain flat for 18 years and yet really smart people like Chris Hedges and Noam Chomsky are still always citing it as a huge problem.
There is good news however, as the level of hysterical madness that emerges from the mainstream press is really getting out of hand. The erosion of their credibility is real, I believe.
The war propaganda really is, I feel, more sabre rattling than anything. The US has declined to the point where militarily it can’t hurt anyone permanently outside of the use of nuclear weapons. Granted, small targets will always be vulnerable, but at the end of the day, Russian and Chinese defences are an effective deterrent. I don’t stress about WW3, personally.
Putin just needs to remain masterfully patient…. that’s it.
Made some very, very decent points, but when he lumped Putin with bush, I lost interest and killed the browser. There are simularities, but the differences are more important.
We, the left, are still very much the under[cat], we need to stop fucking around with idealistic delusions about the current state and get down to applying intelligent, long range strategy on countering right-wing govno, especially that of the current zio-jew version in power now in israel’s western, and not so wrstern, colonies.
Wake up, man, this “they are all the enemy” mentality serves zpc/nwo interests, not us. Unless you want us to remain inconsequential and without real influence.
Nice, cogent sentiment from Waters. But, alas, his argument and concomitant framework for a solution runs right into 2 core but connected obstacles: 1) the now-real predictions in Huxley’s ‘Brave New World, Revisited’ and 2) Philosopher’s John Gray’s perspective:“To think of humans as freedom-loving, you must be ready to view nearly all of history as a mistake.”
― John N. Gray, The Silence of Animals: On Progress and Other Modern Myths
More recently Waters has been publicly outspoken in his support for Palastinians and very critical of israel, to the degree the zionazis have bestowed the honorary title of anti-semite to him and forbidden the flock from associating with him. He would probably not write the same poem today, given what has happened since 2008.
As far as I can tell Waters is a bitter, Godless Atheist looking for solutions to the outworking of sin, outside of the Cross. So no, I’ll take a pass on that and remain Orthodox.

There is a profundity in these words that reminds me of Hugo von Hoffmansthal’s “Ballade de Äusseren Lebens,” perhaps my favorite poem in German.

Enchanted to see Roger Waters here.
One of my favourite Brits of all time. And not [only] for his music…
we and they – the truth –
he mentioned 2008 – this perhaps is an older poem – he’s a prophet as well – its worse now than in 2008 but he does – he hits the nail on the head

Whether by oversight or intention,
Whatever the cause, I won’t presume.
But our poet failed to mention
The elephant in the room.
More recently Waters has been publicly outspoken in his support for Palastinians and very critical of israel, to the degree the zionazis have bestowed the honorary title of anti-semite to him and forbidden the flock from associating with him. Godless atheist.. is there another type.
The term God free is more fitting and less offensive
We are the DREAM & DREAMER.
Awake and Asleep.
We humans create and co-create, an Earth journey of power or powerlessness.
When entering the SLEEP journey, create / co-create the DREAM.
Upon leaving our sleep journey, AWAKEN and decide what the vision is.
Takes time to become the highest level of vibration that we already are. Simply the time has now arrived to remember and act accordingly.
I love Pink Floyd, btw
And I love the site the saker too.
Can I get this poem in text in English, or translated in Spanish? Thanks!
