I consider the Russian version much better but, hey, just for the fun of a typical Russian accent, I will post this one too (-: besides, I am sure that Antonov’s English is better than Hagel’s Russian :-)

“Please, answer these questions, because we have many more coming up.”
He has a very exquisite sense of humor, doesn’t he?
Well said ! Minister Antonov.
I wish I could speak Russian just half as well as you speak english.

Not only that.
Antonov’s English is better than Hagel’s English, and far more understandable :)
.
English is my second language – it is a pity there is no English subtitle.

The Ukrainian junta’s coalition is falling apart because the sniveling coward thieving figures that have strong sense of self-preservation are starting to bail; ie people such as yatsenuk (rat and a crook). None of them want to held criminally responsible for deliberate pre-meditated murder of all those EU citizen killed by somebody within the Junta regime.
If you knew what they know wouldn’t you poke the US with a stick?
And then do it again?
And again?
Look at what the Russians can do here: They can use electronic surveillance, satellite footage, aerial photography, radar tracking. All can be used consistently to tell the story.
The best that the US can do, given their situation is rely upon Facebook and YouTube videos because anything else will support the Russian narrative.
So, the intelligence capabilities of the ‘most powerful nation on earth’ will be seen by all the people on earth as being no more than what a teenager in his bedroom can manage.
At some point the US intelligence community is going to react to the insults heaped upon them by their masters.
Excellent english Mr.Antonov, and lols to the comment”better than Hagels english”.
authority shines through with genuine moral superiority.

That look right at the end is priceless.
So many have been desensitized to strong language from Hollywood and television crap, I wonder how many understand how strong this language really is coming from a person in his position.
I expect part of a coordinated series, more to come.
Compare and contrast with State Department “briefings” and previous Defence Ministry broadcasts especially ” intial bad translator into English”.
Probably no subtitles to preclude lack of due attention to accent, body/language including posture, intonation/harmonics, logical flow, phrasing, vocabulary and content to name a few.
Development at 00.47 is likely a good example.
It appears that Putin wants to send in NATO-FiveEyes forces to assure the plane’s removal to Kiev territory.
This gives the chance to Porosh. to cook the evidence and allows Pravni Sektor to attack NATO and blame Donetsk.
Two options to stop direct NATO entry into war:
a. surrender
b. trucking the plane to a Donetsk warehouse, where the inquiry must take place

” At some point the US intelligence community is going to react to the insults heaped upon them by their masters.”
That point was passed a while ago, but reactions have not been restricted to US or “intelligence community”.
The opponents have declared war on the biosphere – the effective definition of full spectrum dominance.
Re Saker ” I consider the Russian version much better but, hey, just for the fun of a typical Russian accent..”
Perhaps through minimal experience in practical propaganda you fail to recognise that the productions were projected at different audiences and that each version was “culturally” specific as some bloggers have realised.
The opponents don’t do this – they conflate language with culture.
It may seem counter intuitive but adding subtitles/translation to an audio/video presentation is fraught with dangers as amongst other things it directs focus to the presentation of words – a relatively minor part of communication.
Sometimes it is better not to add subtitles/translation so humans can concentrate on sound and vision.
However if subtitles/translation is deemed it is an improvement when translators use native speakers as style editors, but a bigger improvement is achieved when cultural editors are used.
